Bane

Backstory:

This man was born in the prison of Peña Duro, where he would have to serve a life sentence in the place of his father. He grew up in the prison, and killing one of his fellow prisoners, the guards bestowed a name upon him: Bane. The prison guards locked Bane in a pit for ten years as penance, expecting him to die, but he survived and became a legend to the other inmates. Bane trained his mind and his body and was eventually chosen as a test subject for a drug called Venom. Bane was the only subject who survived the test, and he was subsequently given surgery so the drug could be injected directly into his brain. After faking his own death to escape Peña Duro, Bane returned to free the inmates, kill the warden and steal a helicopter so he could travel to Gotham City, home of the man that Bane wanted to destroy: the Batman.

Bane would go on to free the inmates from Arkham, allowing them to wear down Batman and weaken him, then he would break into Wayne Manor and incapacitate Alfred just in time for Batman to return. Bane proceeded to beat Batman down and ultimately break his back, making him the only man to have "broken the Bat". Bane practically ruled Gotham City until he was defeated by Azrael, although he would eventually escape prison and become a recurring foe of Batman.

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics,

Supernatural Willpower (Capable of surviving things that would kill a normal human being through sheer determination),

Skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant (Bane is a highly formidable combatant who has not only mastered, but also created several forms of martial arts. Though less skilled than the likes of Batman or Lady Shiva, Bane's fighting ability combined with his peak strength and endurance make him a highly formidable opponent for any non-meta and many metahuman foes.),

Information Analysis (Could tell that Batman was weakened based on his movements and he could tell that Jean-Paul Valley wasn't the real Batman. Somehow knew that Batman was only feigning being under the control of Poison Ivy),

Stealth Mastery (Escaped the sight of Tim Drake, who had been trying to sneak up on him, and got behind him without being noticed. Managed to hide in the short amount of time before Killer Croc arrived. Broke into Wayne Manor),

Acrobatics

Weaknesses: Removing the tubes feeding him Venom will cause him to lose his enhanced strength, and using more Venom causes him to gain a dependency. However, after his defeat at the hands of Azrael, Bane swore off using Venom and overcame his dependency, so it is no longer an issue.

Kingpin

Background:

Wilson Fisk was born and raised in a dysfunctional family. His parents were constantly quarreling. He was bullied by his peers because he was overweight. Wilson committed his first murder when he was twelve. From the start, Fisk was determined to be the best in whatever he did, and he believed physical strength to be a major factor in building power in the underworld. Hence, he fanatically trained himself in various methods of bodybuilding and personal combat, finally concentrating on the Japanese art of sumo. His sumo training probably led to his interest in the Orient, which would manifest itself in other ways. In addition to his devotion to physical strength, Fisk realized the importance of intelligence. Being from a poor family, Fisk's formal education was limited. He became self-taught, acquiring or borrowing (or sometimes outright shoplifting) books from libraries or bookstores in whatever he could find. Although Fisk learned a great deal in sciences and arts, he became particularly fascinated by political science. He decided that another key to success would be in using political techniques in organizing and directing groups of criminals. By the age of fifteen, his use of administrative techniques to organize his growing gang of criminals earned him the nickname "Kingpin of Crime."

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Fisk is composed almost entirely of muscle that has been developed to enormous size, much like a sumo wrestler, and he possesses peak human strength with only the bare 9 pounds actually being fat. His vast bulk shields him from many forms of injury, either providing padding or causing penetration wounds to only strike him relatively superficially),

Expert Martial Artist (Fisk has extraordinary skill in hand-to-hand combat, specializing in a number of martial arts, including sumo wrestling, judo, and hapkido. His fighting skills, strength, and agility make him a match for Spider-Man, Red Skull, and Captain America in unarmed combat. Fisk was also capable of defeating 8 men from the finest martial arts schools in 17 seconds),

Resistance to blunt attacks.

Song: Baneful Kings

As Wilson Fisk, alias the Kingpin, was occupied in the prison's gym, benching colossal weights, the bar itself began to visibly bend under the immense pressure. He exercised tirelessly with unwavering determination, showing no signs of struggle as he lifted it up and down with apparent ease. Sensing the arrival of someone, Fisk did not immediately acknowledge the intrusion, his concentration entirely dedicated to his routine.

A large, muscular Puerto Rican man with a ponytail started to approach.

"So, you're the mighty Kingpin of New York."

"Yes, what is this to you?"

"Well, I thought if I killed you, then I'd become the Kingpin."

"Is that so? Many have tried, and I'm still here."

"Well, from what I've heard of those before me, they were pipsqueaks. I'm the real deal."

Bane approached Fisk, attempting to press the barbell down, seeking to either crush or choke his neck. However, Wilson demonstrated with calculated precision as he dropped his right arm while exerting force with his left, utilizing the barbell's weights to strike Bane on the side of his head with a resounding impact. Bane's pained grunt echoed through the gym, momentarily retreating from the blow.

Wilson rose to his feet, lifting the barbell with the ease of handling a featherweight, undeterred by its immense weight.

"You challenge the Kingpin? You'll need more than that."

As Bane launched a powerful gut punch, aiming to incapacitate Wilson in a single strike, he was taken aback by Kingpin's surprising resilience. Fisk absorbed the blow, but only took a single step back, displaying an uncanny durability.

With a flicker of satisfaction, Fisk's smirk grew. Empowered by an outburst of rage, he hoisted the colossal 650-pound barbell and forcefully slammed it down onto Bane, driving him to the ground as Kingpin also pounced on top, grappling with him on the unforgiving floor.

Wilson landed a few solid punches to Bane's face, but the wrestler was quick to recover, utilizing his legs to thrust Fisk backward and away. Without missing a beat, Bane seized the barbell and launched it forcefully toward the Kingpin. Fisk, displaying his quick reflexes, somersaulted to the side to easily dodge, swiftly regaining his footing to face off against his formidable foe once more.

Bane rushed forward, attempting to seize Wilson, but Fisk swiftly countered, grabbing hold of his arm and swinging him over his shoulders with brute force. However, Bane skillfully transformed the momentum into a move, yanking Fisk down onto the ground, creating a resounding impact. As they both rose back to their feet, eager for the next round, Bane attacked with powerful swings and kicks, targeting Fisk's robust frame. Each blow landed with resounding thuds against his muscularly obese body, yet Kingpin remained standing, unflinchingly tanking the attacks.

Bane launched into a spinning kick, aiming for Fisk's neck, but the Kingpin nimbly intercepted the leg, swinging him around his shoulder and slamming him onto the ground. However, Bane exhibited impressive strength, planting his hands and twisting out of Fisk's grip back onto his feet. In a last-ditch attempt, Bane tried to lift Wilson again, but the sheer force of the maneuver caused Fisk's shirt to rip apart, unable to hold the tension caused by the Kingpin's sheer weight and musculature.

Fisk seized the chance to deliver powerful blows to Bane's elbows, creating an opportunity to headbutt him in the nose. With unwavering determination, he then secured Bane in a hold, allowing him to focus attacks on the Puerto Rican wrestler's kidneys. Yet, despite Fisk's relentless assault, Bane found a moment to retaliate. Leaping onto Fisk's arm, he seized control, using his leverage to force Kingin onto the ground. Now in a crucial hold, Bane attempted to dislocate Wilson's shoulder joint, applying immense pressure.

Fisk's yells echoed through the gym, expressing a mix of pain and fury as he struggled against Bane's hold, desperately fighting to overcome his strength. With all his power, he managed to shift their positions, pinning Bane underneath, seemingly poised to deliver a crushing suffocation under his considerable weight. However, Wilson suddenly found himself being forcibly hurled back by Batman's physically strongest villain, crashing to the ground with a resounding impact. Glancing up, Wilson looked back towards Bane, who slowly got onto his feet, wiping his nose. He smirked as he also got up.

Kingpin unleashed a flurry of attacks, mixing Hapkido and Judo techniques, attempting to overwhelm Bane with his skill and strength, but Bane proved to be an equal match in martial prowess. Deflecting Fisk's strikes and flips with ease. As Wilson threw a punch, Bane ducked underneath seamlessly, countering and seizing the opportunity, lifting Kingpin off the ground and slamming him against the wall with a devastating impact, shattering the stone. Fisk gasped, caught off guard by Bane's surprising power.

Bane quickly launched a series of punishing blows, connecting with Fisk's face and stomach. Wilson quickly retaliated with a powerful kick, sending Bane stumbling back. With unwavering resolve, Kingpin slammed his feet against the ground, channeling his anger, and bellowing as he launched a mighty charge towards Bane. But Bane braced himself, tightly gripping Fisk's neck and stomach, and utilizing his physical strength, hoisted Wilson over his own body, smashing him onto the floor with unyielding force.

With Fisk momentarily stunned, Bane seized the moment to pick him up and then kick him back onto the ground. He attempted a decisive blow, jumping to slam his elbow into Fisk's back, seeking to further weaken him. Wilson, however, dodged Bane's attack and quickly transitioning into a roll, catching Bane off guard and causing him to crash onto the ground instead, groaning as pain shot through his arm. Seizing control, Fisk retaliated by lifting Bane back up, delivering a forceful punch to his face before securing him in a reverse German suplex, taking advantage of their momentary position.

Kingpin crashed onto his back, the impact creating a resounding thud. However, Bane, demonstrating remarkable precision and strength, cushioned his fall by pressing his hands against the ground, momentarily resisting the force. Bane quickly capitalized on the opportunity, swiftly kicking the tip of his shoe into Fisk's groin, releasing an involuntary yell of pain. Bane seized his chance, swiftly rolling away and picking Wilson up once more, charging towards another wall and slamming him against it with the force of a battering ram, cracking the sturdy structure.

Kingpin quickly shook off the pain, retaliating with powerful punches aimed at Bane's back that nearly caused him to buckle. Fisk locked his arm around Bane's neck, relentlessly landing fists to the face, while the wrestler countered with a surprising move, jamming his chin into the pressure point between Fisk's thumb and index finger, compelling Wilson to release his grip.

The intense battle continued, both fighters locked in a fierce exchange of punches and grapples, each striving to overpower the other and force a submission. Fisk grabbed Bane, swinging him repeatedly against the wall with brute force, the impacts leaving a series of cracks in the resilient structure. Wilson even attempted a face punch, but Bane dodged swiftly, and Fisk's fist ended up lodged in the wall, leaving an imprint of his fist in the dense surface. Kingpin's clenched fist was left bloodied as a result as he growled in pain.

Kingpin seized the opportunity, grabbing Bane and hurling him into a rack of gym weights, causing a chorus of echoing metallic clatters as the weights crashed onto the ground. Bane, disorientated by the impact, groaned in pain. Reacting swiftly, he grabbed hold of a weighted disc, waiting for Kingpin to approach. As Fisk moved to deliver a final punch, Bane counterattacked, jamming the weighted disc into Wilson's hand at the exact moment of impact. Fisk yowled in pain, retreating to clutch his injured hand, now bloodied and likely fractured from the forceful collision. Kingpin, seething with a mix of pain and anger, struggled to persist through the agony. he shouted, the conviction in his voice unwavering.

"I'll kill you. Even locked within prison, I hold power over everything! You're nothing!"

He charged forward, launching another punch, but Bane, prepared, snatched another metal disc, skillfully counterattacking once more. The impact of the punch resonated with a sickening crunch as more bones cracked, releasing Fisk's infuriated yell. Bane responded with unwavering resolve, asserting,

"I am not a pampered aristocrat, ensconced in a tower of opulence or confined in a cushioned cell. For me, the entire world is my prison, and I refuse to be merely a prisoner."

As he spoke, he struck Fisk with relentless punches, with the weight of the metal discs eroding his bulky defenses. Each impact landed with a resounding thwack, gradually chipping away at Fisk's formidable exterior.

"I will either rule it all, or finally rest when death has earned me."

As Fisk desperately raised his arms for defense, Bane pushed through, forcefully striking Fisk's already battered nose, creating a disorientating blow that rendered the injured Kingpin dazed and bloodied. Letting go of the weights, Bane hoisted his humongus body up over his head, and moved to barbell from before, his expression stern, filled with a determination that promised a fate worse than death. Bane stood tall, locking eyes with Fisk, his face devoid of remorse. His voice boomed with determination as he declared,

"You will recall my name: Bane. I won't grant the mercy of death to those suffering shame and agony. Instead, I will break you."

With an air of finality, he dropped Fisk onto the barbell's handle, snapping his neck from the collision, leaving Fisk paralyzed from the breakage, but still able to breathe. Fisk's scream filled the room, his neck aflame with pain as he remained trapped in his immovable state, able to only cry out in seething rage and anguish. Bane, now assured of his position as the new prison's Kingpin, turned his attention towards a cracked wall and struck it with a powerful punch, breaking through to make his departure, leaving Fisk to grapple with the torment of his defeat and the impending acknowledgment of his fallen status.

Strength: I made this battle a prison fight, so that they were the most evenly matched with just their strength and tenacity. And boy were these two just about equal in strength. Without Venom, Bane would not be able to overpower Fisk so easily, as he could likely perform most of the same feats brute force feats that Bane has done. I think Fisk is stronger due to his extra hundred pound mass, but I don't know by how much if Bane is able to fight similarly muscular foes like Killer Croc.

Speed: Fisk may be fast enough to react to acrobatic foes such as Daredevil and Spider-Man, and likely react to bullets, but Bane can keep pace with Batman, Nightwing and Deathstroke, which by comparison would comfortably make him 4X faster. Wilson may be able to keep up, but not consistently.

Skill: Bane is the more skilled, for while he's not martially skilled as Batman or Lady Shiva, he's still skilled enough to contend with them, which puts him on a higher standing over Wilson's more limited poolset. (A/N: Shout out to my dad, where the fists into the elbows following into the headbutt into the nose part was one of the first moves of self-defense he taught me. Thank you dad.)

Experience: Bane has the more hands on experience, as he willfully gets into fights much more often than Kingpin, who prefers using hitmen to do the dirty business for him, and only fights when necessary or provoked.

The winner is Bane.
