The Lesser of Two Evils
It was a dark night in Jump City at the steelworks and the Titans were busy fighting Raven's half-brothers: Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Lust, and Wrath. Psimon was also helping them as he telekinetically lifted some huge machinery and hurled it at Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. He knocked away Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg while Robin dodged the machines before falling to the ground. Raven was blasted to the ground by black and red magic from her demonic half-brothers before they surrounded her.
They all looked down at her as Greed smiled ambitiously as he said, "Join us sister. We have big plans for this realm, and all we need to make that a reality is you."
She stood up as she defiantly said, "I'll never join you!"
She then threw her hands out to her sides and sent a shockwave of her dark energy that blasted them all back. Psimon looked at this and while he was distracted Robin swung from a grapple and kicked him over to the four-eyed boys. They all got back on their feet and looked at Raven when she was joined by her friends as they all prepared to defend her. Robin pulled out three explosive discs, Starfire floated in the air with her eyes and hands glowing green, Cyborg activated his right sonic cannon, and Beast Boy was a velociraptor.
Robin prepared to throw his discs as he fiercely said, "None of you are allowed anywhere near Raven!"
Wrath smiled deviously as he said, "Then what about our other friend?"
Just then a huge part of the wall and ceiling was destroyed as Malchior entered the scene and looked down at the Titans. He then breathed fire at the Titans but Raven protected them with a force-field dome, which she dropped after the fire was gone. Malchior then slammed his front arm toward them but they scattered and he smashed part of the ground. Robin threw his three explosive discs at Malchior but they had little effect as they blew up against him, then Malchior lashed his tail at Robin. Robin jumped and dodged it before Starfire flew at Malchior punched him in the face with her glowing green fists. She made him stumble backwards before he grabbed her in his left hand and slammed her on the ground before throwing her away. Cyborg shot Malchior in the face with his sonic cannon before firing the energy cannon in his chest and hitting Malchior's underbelly. This barely hurt Malchior before he swung his tail back at Cyborg and sent him crashing through a wall on the other side of the steelworks. Raven flew in front of Malchior's face and shot bolts of black lightning from her hands and made him fidget before he ensnared her with his tail.
He stared at her and evilly said, "Raven, join us and you can show everyone how dark you truly are."
Beast Boy suddenly yelled, "Get your tail off of her!"
He ran as a human before changing into a bird and flying toward Malchior's face, Malchior prepared to breathe fire but Beast Boy flipped and changed into an Ankylosaurus. His armored back crashed into Malchior's face and made him release Ravena s she flew out of his tail, but then Malchior grabbed the green Ankylosaurus by his clubbed tail.
He held him upside down as he cruelly said, "Worthless creature! You waste your efforts defending someone who thinks nothing of you!"
Raven promptly blasted Malchior in the face with a ray of her dark energy and made him drop Beast Boy, who turned into a bird and flew to Raven.
They both landed as Beast Boy changed to his human form and smiled as he slyly said, "I say we introduce Malchior to Rex the Magic Dragon."
Raven smiled as she liked where he was going with this as she took flight while Beast Boy morphed into a T-Rex.
Raven flew on his back and chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She covered the green T-Rex with her black magic as she used her power create something around him. Like when she'd create a giant raven, she gave the T-Rex giant wings and his feet changed to those of a bird of prey. Beast Boy's head was still shaped the same but covered in Raven's dark energy and he still had his long tail out the back. The magically enhanced T-Rex shrieked loudly, but Malchior was not intimidated as he was still more than twice his size.
He smiled arrogantly as he said, "Fools! You are still no match for me!"
The black magic T-Rex flew at Malchior and gripped him in its feet before slamming him against the ground, then it bit Malchior's neck. He struggled but would not break free as he jerked his head around, he tried to use his tail to pull them off but the winged-T-Rex swing his tail and batted Malchior's away. It then took flight while holding Malchior and whirled him around before throwing him to the ground, causing a small crater. Malchior was down as Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg watched and happily cheered before Beast Boy and Raven landed.
Raven's black magic receded from Beast Boy as he turned human and said, "Bigger isn't always better."
Raven's half-brothers and Psimon came as Wrath evilly said, "You will join us sister, one way or another!"
Psimon opened a portal through which they all escaped, leaving the Titans alone as they stared with bitter expressions. They were all unaware that they were being watched from the roof by none other than Slade, who had an evil look in his eye.
He watched them as he deviously said, "The past has away of catching up to the present, and predicting the future."

The Titans were assembled in the main room of Titans Tower as they stared at the screen showing images of Wrath, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Sloth, and Lust. They were discussing their situation with them as they all wondered how they were going to stop them for good. Beast Boy was sitting on the couch as he listened to the others while Raven was staring at the pictures of her half-brothers with a troubled expression.
Cyborg expressed frustration as he pounded his fist and said, "Come on! There's gotta be a way we can bring them down once and for all! We kicked their old man's butt and we can do the same to them!"
Raven looked at Cyborg as she seriously said, "They may not be as powerful as Trigon, but they're just as evil."
Robin agreed as he honestly said, "Raven's right Cyborg. Defeating Trigon was one of the hardest things we've ever done. His sons may not be as powerful but we can't risk underestimating them."
Starfire turned from Robin to Raven as she respectfully asked, "Raven, they claimed they need you to make their plan succeed. Do you know of what that might be?"
Raven looked down with reluctance as he said, "I have an idea what they might be up to, but I could be wrong. I definitely hope I am."
Cyborg understood her unease as he held his left palm out toward her and respectfully asked, "Any clue why they need you?"
Raven glanced around at the others as she explained, "I'm more powerful than any of them, together they're more powerful than me, but the seven of us together, our combined powerful might be equal to Trigon himself."
Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire all showed their teeth with frightened expressions as they imagined the frightening possibilities.
Beast Boy was not afraid as he held his arms out toward Raven and said, "So we're good. We all know you'd never help them, so if they don't have you we got nothing to worry about."
Raven looked at Beast Boy with a gravely serious expression as she said, "It's not that simple Beast Boy. My brothers won't exactly give me a choice. They'll destroy anything and anyone to make me help them."
Robin looked down at Beast Boy as he seriously said, "She's right Beast Boy. As long as Wrath and the others are out there no one is safe. We need to stop them for good, before they cause any more destruction."
Beast Boy saw their point as he asked, "So how do we do that?"
They all looked at Raven as she let out a sad sigh as she was not sure what to do; meanwhile her half-brothers were gathered in the tomb with Psimon and Malchior.
Lust angrily looked at his brothers as he said, "We need our sister to fulfill our destiny! Without her we cannot complete the spell!"
Envy had his fists clinched in anger as he said, "We would already have her if not for those wretched friends of hers!"
Gluttony took a big bite out of a ham before pounded it in his hand and evilly said, "If we destroy them perhaps we can persuade her."
Sloth tediously shook his head as he argued, "Even if we did she won't join us so easily. Her heart is full of too much love from them and her mother."
Greed put his hands together as he smiled diabolically and said, "Maybe if we capture them she'll comply to save them."
Wrath glanced around at the others as he impatiently said, "These petty schemes will never work! She is too strong to fall victim to any of them! Her will and power are too strong to allow anything to happen to her precious Titans. We must find her weakness and use it against her!"
They were all startled as they heard a voice say, "Perhaps I could be of assistance."
They turned around to see Slade walking toward them as Psimon surprisedly said, "Slade?!"
He kept walking as he looked at Psimon before turning to the boys while he said, "Always a pleasure Psimon. And what an honor to finally meet Trigon's six youngest children."
They all recognized Slade from when he helped Trigon as Envy pompously sneered, "Father's former minion."
Slade stopped walking as he spoke deviously and said, "I'll admit, I did enjoy some of the perks that came with serving him. Which is why I'm here, I have a proposal."
They glanced at each other before Greed skeptically asked, "Why would you want to help us?"
Slade spoke coyly as he said, "I've made deals with the devil before."
Wrath then arrogantly snubbed, "And what could you offer us that we can't simply take ourselves?"
Slade curled his fingers on his right hand before clinching his fist while he ruthlessly said, "I can give you the key to controlling Raven."
Wrath smiled wickedly as he said, "We're listening."
Back at Titans Tower, the young heroes were still working hard, with the exception of Beast Boy who was eating a tofu burger.
Raven looked at him with an annoyed expression as she said, "We're trying to figure out how to stop my brothers and you're eating a tofu burger?"
Beast Boy took another bite before shrugging as he smiled and said, "Can't fight bad guys on an empty stomach."
Cyborg walked over to the fridge as he smiled and pointed at Beast Boy while saying, "I'm with you on that one."
He then reached into the fridge and pulled out a long submarine sandwich and opened his mouth as he started eating it while his mouth moved like a beartrap. Raven scowled them before Robin put his hand on her shoulder for support as he nodded with a sincere expression. Raven's expression softened as she decided to let them eat as she realized everyone would need all their strength to help her stop her demon brothers.
Raven took a deep breath before turning away as she calmly said, "Okay, let's talk about this over dinner."
Robin and Starfire smiled as they nodded in agreement as they made themselves some meals while Raven followed them. While they were cooking she made herself some herbal tea and then they all sat at the table and ate together with calm expressions. Starfire ate some of her strange alien food that the others did not want, and Robin shared some fried chicken with Raven. Soon they all finished their dinner as Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg smiled comfortably and Robin was pleased by their happiness. Beast Boy noticed Raven's cup empty while she just stared down in thought, and he grew somewhat concerned about her.
He got up and took her cup as he said, "Here, I'll get you a refill."
He refilled her cup with herbal tea before returning it as she took the cup and politely said, "Thanks."
She took another sip before Starfire suggested, "Perhaps if we divide Trigon's sons we can defeat each of them one by one."
Raven held her cup while glancing around at the others as she said, "Won't work. Even if we got them to split up, they can sense emotions like I can. If one of them were in danger the others would sense it and come to fight us."
Robin agreed as he thought and said, "Yeah, and we can't split up to fight them, they're too powerful for us to beat on our own."
Beast Boy was standing next to the table as he curiously asked, "So are we supposed to stop them?"
Cyborg agreed as he pointed out, "Yeah, we only stand a chance against them when we're all together. They each got their own powers that Raven doesn't, and now they got that brain boy and that dragon helping them out."
Starfire looked at Cyborg as she said, "The Malchior and Psimon are formidable, but defeating them is far easier than defeating Trigon's sons."
Robin curled his finger against hist chin as he thought and said, "What we need is something we can use against them."
Suddenly the computer beeped and Robin hurried over to it to see that a live transmission was coming in and then he showed it on the screen.
Slade's image appeared as he looked at all of them and evilly said, "Hello again Titans."
The others immediately got out of their seats and joined Robin as they all glared and he said, "Slade!"
Slade eyed them all as he joked, "I hope I haven't called you at a bad time."
They all had no patience for him as Beast Boy angrily said, "Dude we don't have time for you!"
Cyborg agreed as he fiercely clinched his fist and said, "Yeah! We'll kick your butt another day! Right now we got bigger fish to fry!"
Slade spoke coyly as he said, "Yes, Raven's brothers are quite dangerous."
Raven glared at the screen as she said, "How do you know about them?"
Slade spoke evilly as he answered, "I've been keeping up with your recent exploits and I believe I can be of assistance."
Robin eyed him suspiciously as he asked, "What are you playing at?"
Slade in an ominously polite way as he said, "I'd rather not the end of the world repeat itself, so I'm willing to help you stop these demon boys. Why don't we meet and discuss this face to face. You know where to find me."
The screen then showed a map with a red blinking dot while Raven said, "This is definitely a trap."
Robin folded his arms as he suspiciously said, "Probably, but we're going anyway. If he knows something that could help us we have to find out what it is."
The others were shocked as Cyborg said, "Say what?!"
Beast Boy held his palms up and said, "Yeah dude! Don't tell me you actually trust Slade!"
Robin turned to the others as he narrowed his eyes with a dead serious expression as he said, "I don't even trust Slade as far as I can throw him! But we don't have any other options. He may be our only chance. He did help us when we faced Trigon."
Beast Boy held his arms out to his sides and exclaimed, "Yeah AFTER he helped Trigon in the first place!"
Cyborg pointed at Robin as he angrily said, "And BEFORE he teamed up with Brother Blood, Blackfire, and the Brotherhood of Evil and tried to destroy us!"
Raven agreed as she seriously said, "They're right Robin. Even if Slade does want to stop my brothers we can't take the chance."
Starfire looked at Robin with a concerned expression as he said, "Agreed Raven. This enemy of our enemy is not our friend."
Robin stared at them as he seriously said, "I don't like it anymore than the rest of you, but I don't see any other choice. Desperate times call for desperate measures."
They looked at each other before sighing in exasperation before Raven said, "Alright. Where is he?"
Robin looked at the map and his eyes widened before he scowled and said, "Of course."
Later, the Titans were walking through a block of the city slated for demolition, where they fought him when he was serving Trigon. They weren't near the library but they were all still very suspicious as they examined their surroundings, keeping an eye out.
Beast Boy was very displeased as he said, "This place?!"
Raven was very suspicious as she said, "Robin I don't like this."
Robin looked at his friends as he precautiously said, "We have to try, but be ready for anything."
They nodded and then they all stood in fighting stances when Slade said, "Hello Titans. So kind of you to accept my invitation."
He started walking toward them and stopped about ten feet in front of them when Robin demanded, "Slade! Start talking!"
Slade spoke coyly and held his left hand to refer to Raven while he said, "Very well. I first learned of Trigon's sons in my servitude of him. The same time I learned the truth about Raven."
They all glared daggers at him as Starfire demanded, "Do you have any knowledge of what they are planning?!"
He shrugged and tilted his head around as he snidely said, "Perhaps, perhaps not. I don't have all the answers. Maybe you should ask your friends. I'm sure she knows a lot about her own brothers."
Raven's eyes glowed white as she shot him a death glare and said, "I may be related, but they are NOT my brothers."
Slade eyed her while he sadistically said, "You were all spawned from Trigon's evil."
She kept glaring with her eyes glowing white while Beast Boy and Starfire held her shoulders to both hold her back and calm her down while they kept glaring at Slade as well.
Cyborg then lost his patience as he strictly demanded, "Alright enough games! Tell us what you know now!"
Slade then put his hands behind his back as he calmly said, "Very well. I know that they need Raven's help for their plan to come to fruition."
Beast Boy glared at Slade as he angrily said, "Tell us something we don't know! Like how to stop them!"
Slade looked at them with his evil eye as he leaned forward while saying, "And I thought you were all smarter than that. The answer is simple. To stop Trigon's sons you must sacrifice Raven. Destro her and they'll never be able to complete their spell."
Raven's eyes stopped glowing as she gasped in shock while Beast Boy protectively stood in front of her as he defiantly said, "No way! That's NOT happening! No one's hurting Raven!"
Robin agreed as he glared at Slade and clinched his fist and said, "Beast Boy's right! We're not sacrificing Raven just to stop Trigon's sons!"
Slade eyed Robin as he goaded, "I'm surprised at you Robin. I thought you were trained to do whatever it takes to stop your enemy. Doesn't it seem fair to trade one life for every one on the planet? Or are you starting to renounce your teachings?"
Robin gritted his teeth in rage as he knew exactly what Slade was talking about so he pulled out his staff and said, "Well that's not going to happen! We'll find another way!"
Cyborg agreed as he aimed his right sonic cannon at Sade and said, "Yeah! We're not taking the easy way out!"
Raven glared at Slade as she defiantly said, "I'll find a way to stop them once and for all!"
Beast Boy glared as he leaned forward and said, "Yeah! She beat four eyes and she'll beat his boys too!"
Slade eyed them with hostility as he said, "For your sake, I hope your faith is well-placed Beast Boy. Don't forget that she's Trigon's daughter. The one who once brought the end of the world."
Beast Boy morphed into a tiger and growled viciously while Starfire's hands glowed green and they were all prepared to fight Slade.
Raven kept glaring at Slade as she argued, "You're wrong! They're my friends! I would never betray them!"
Slade had a sly look in his eye as he said, "Oh really? Do they truly know everything about you? Is there nothing you're hiding from them? Or are you simply afraid of the truth? You can keep things from them, but you can't keep things from yourself."
The Titans all glared at him with hatred as Beast Boy gritted his teeth and clinched his fists as he repressed his own rage.
Raven then shut her eyes as she tried to control her emotions as she said, "I won't let anything happen to them. I'll protect them from anything and anyone."
Slade narrowed his eye as he evilly said, "Can you protect them from yourself? You know that deep down Trigon's evil runs through you. Your powers came from him and so did the darkness within you. Just like all of Trigon's children."
Raven then lost control as she now had four glowing red eyes and flew at Slade while the others watched with worry.
Slade did not flinch as she came at him furiously yelling, "Quiet! Stop talking! All you ever do is hurt people!"
She then held her hands out and shot waves of her dark magic at Slade while he agilely dodged them and jumped around. Her waves instead hit parts of buildings and destroyed them while the others watched in horror while Beast Boy turned human. Raven's body was surrounded by an aura of her black magic while her four glowing red eyes as she shot destructive blasts of her black magic at Slade.
After dodging the last one Slade stopped and stood tall as he evilly said, "Yes, the child of Trigon, just like your brothers."
The others ran up behind Raven to stop her while Robin yelled, "Raven stop!"
Suddenly a bunch of fire demons flew in front of them and blocked their way as they stopped with startled expressions.
Beast Boy was shocked and baffled as he shouted, "What the heck?!"
Psimon descended down and floated in front of them with his arms folded as Cyborg yelled, "What?! He's here too?!"
Psimon kept floating with his arms folded as he smugly grinned and said, "Thank you for handing us the final piece of the puzzle."
Starfire glared at him with hate as she furiously yelled, "You are not welcome!"
Raven's demon half-brothers all rose out of the ground in fields of their black and red magic as they smiled evilly. They surrounded Raven as she glanced around them in a mixture of shock and rage as seeing them did not help her anger subside.
Lust happily clinched his fists as he maniacally exclaimed, "Finally! Our sister has embraced her true power!"
Greed smiled psychotically as he bent his fingers forward and said, "Now we can perform the spell and begin our reign over this world and all its inhabitants!"
Sloth smiled evilly as he looked at Slade while saying, "And to think we did nothing. Father's former minion delivered her right to us."
The Titans all glared at Slade as Robin furiously said, "You were helping them?!"
Slade eyed them as he coyly said, "It's a living."
Wrath floated in front of Raven as he said, "Enough! Come with us sister! Our moment of triumph is at hand!"
Envy then pointed at the others and ordered the fire demons, "Destroy those pests! They've interfered long enough!"
The others stood in fighting stances as they were surrounded by the fire demons and prepared to fight them to the bitter end. Raven gritted her teeth in rage as she realized how Slade had been working with her half-brothers and they were here to hurt her friends.
Her demon brothers closed in on her while her black energy surrounded her body and she furiously yelled, "Get away from me!"
She then let out a loud yell of rage as a shockwave of her black magic shot from her body and went in every direction.
Commercial break
Raven released the shockwave of her dark energy that blasted all six of her half-brothers back and knocked them to the ground.
They all got on their feet as Wrath glared and said, "It seems our sister still needs a bit of persuasion to cooperate."
They all took flight and started fighting while she furiously fought back against them with her powers while the others watched for a moment. Lust shot his four red eyebeams at Raven but she blocked it with a small shield of her black magic before hitting him with a blast that send him flying back. Gluttony flew at Raven and punched her to the ground, but she got up and snarled viciously before she shot a ray of her dark energy that sent him crashing into a building. Sloth created a large monster out of his black and red magic around himself and roared as he attacked Raven, but her cape expanded as tentacles of dark energy came from her. She ensnared Sloth and slammed him into the ground before throwing him and sending him crashing into Greed.
Lust suddenly floated in front of Raven with an evil grin as he said, "Sister, don't fight us. Embrace the evil in your heart. Be one of us."
Raven shot him a death glare before encasing him in her dark energy and throwing him at Gluttony just as he came at her.
Raven glared at them as she furiously said, "Stay away from me!"
Psimon shot a pink psionic beam at Raven from behind and made her cry in pain before she glared at him. She shot a bolt of black lightning at him and made him scream in pain before he fell to the ground and Raven viciously turned back to her brothers. The rest of the Titans watched with fear as she was acting so frightening and they worried that she might do something horrible.
Robin looked at the others as he said, "We have to stop her."
The fire demons started floating toward them before Beast Boy turned around as he changed into a Stegosaurus. He swung his spiked tail and cleaved several fire demons in half before they were destroyed, and Starfire destroyed a few with a wave of her starbolt energy. Cyborg blasted two with his sonic cannon and Robin threw a birdarang that destroyed the final three fire demons.
Robin looked at the others before seriously glaring at Slade while he said, "You guys help Raven, I'll deal with Slade!"
He pulled out his bo staff and ran at Slade who immediately started fighting Robin while Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire looked at Raven.
Robin used his bo to pin Slade against the wall of a building as he furiously said, "Why are you helping them?! Even you aren't that crazy! Did they promise to give you back your former powers or did you just seize a chance to get rid of us?!"
Slade spoke snidely as he said, "Things are not always as they seem."
He then kicked Robin off of him with both legs, meanwhile Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Starfire kept watching Raven.
She shot bolts of black lightning at blasted away Greed, Sloth, and Gluttony when Cyborg shouted, "Yo Raven, calm down! You're kicking their butts but don't get carried away."
Starfire agreed as she sincerely begged, "Yes! Do not let your rage get the better of you! You must control yourself!
Raven glanced at Cyborg and Starfire out of the corner of her eye as she angrily said, "You all stay out of this!"
She then flicked her wrist and sent a small wave of her black magic out that knocked away him and Starfire.
She turned to her half-brothers with hate until she heard Beast Boy shout, "Raven!"
She looked down to see him on the ground next to her feet as he courageously looked up at her with sincere pleading eyes. She stopped gritting her teeth as her expression softened as she looked down at his face, though she still had four glowing red eyes.
He held his hands out toward her as he sincerely said, "I get that you're mad right now, but you're better than this. I may not know a lot, but I know that you're not like them. Your powers may have come from Trigon but you're not evil like him. I know you Raven, we know you, your mom knows you."
Raven shut her eyes as she floated and landed in front of him as she calmed down and opened her eyes as they were back to normal.
She looked at him as she gratefully said, "Thanks Beast Boy. I needed to hear that."
He smiled sweetly at her and the others did the same as they joined her but then they were surrounded by Psimon and Raven's demon brothers.
Envy glared at Beast Boy as he angrily said, "The green one interfered!"
Wrath was vexed as he said, "No matter. She will join us whether she wants to or not!"
They prepared to fight but then they all looked at Slade as he spoke up and said, "As entertaining as that would be, I'm afraid it's time to end this story."
He snapped his fingers and a bunch of Slade's robots came out of hiding and they fired their handheld lasers at Psimon and Trigon's sons.
They cried in pain as they fell to the ground and Cyborg was shocked as he said, "Whoa! Is Slade helping us?!"
Slade's robots then started firing their handheld lasers at them, prompting Raven to protect them with a force-field dome.
Raven looked at all the robots firing as she said, "Don't think so."
Robin narrowed his eyes as he understood and said, "Slade set a trap to try and destroy all of us."
Slade spoke evilly as he confirmed, "A rouse to rid myself of all my enemies in one fell swoop."
Psimon got back up and held his dome while he telekinetically lifted two robots in the air and smashed them together. Trigon's sons all got up and snarled viciously as they started fighting Slade's robots, then Raven dropped her force-field and she and her friends fought some of Slade's robots too. Cyborg blasted two robots with his right sonic cannon while Gluttony flew and smashed two more robots with his fists. Raven shot a beam of her black magic that blew up one robot while Wrath threw fireballs that destroyed four of Slade's robots. Beast Boy morphed into a rhino and charged at five robots while Sloth created a vicious beast out of his black and red magic that shredded a bunch of Slade's robots with its teeth and claws. Robin knocked away two robots with his staff before Robin threw starbolts that blew up three more of Slade's robots. Lust destroyed a few robots with his four red eyebeams while Envy created a giant mace out of his black and red energy and smashed several robots. Greed shot bolts of black and red lightning that destroyed several of Slade's robots; the Titans noticed Trigon's sons and Psimon distracted so they turned to Slade. They all ran to attack him but a more of Slade's robots jumped in to defend him as he eyed them with an evil look.
Raven glanced at Beast Boy as she ordered, "Beast Boy, Tentacle Web."
They both disappeared downward through one of Raven's portals, and after it closed eight small portals opened up at Slade's sounds. Beast Boy's green octopus tentacles stretched out of the portals with two of each ensnaring Slade's arms and legs and stretching them out to immobilize him.
Slade spoke in a mildly impressed tone as he said, "Exemplary teamwork."
The others glared at Slade as Robin fiercely said, "Clever plan Slade, but your tricks have failed again."
Slade was not afraid as he said, "I always have contingencies."
They all turned to see Raven's half-brothers floating with Psimon glaring at them as Psimon said, "You mortals will all pay for your treachery and interference!"
A shadow quickly passed over them and they all looked up to see Malchior flying over the rooftops at highspeed. He flew in their direction while roaring as he craned his neck backward before launching a fireball from his mouth. Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire took cover while Beast Boy released Slade and retracted his tentacles back through Raven's portals before they closed and Slade also ran. The fireball hit the ground and destroyed Slade's remaining robots before Malchior flew down and landed as he looked around evilly while Trigon's sons and Psimon floated beside him. Raven and Beast Boy emerged from one of her portals as they rejoined Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire as they looked at the villains.
Slade looked at all of them but was not deterred as he deviously said, "Quite fearsome, but I'm sure my new enforcer will be more than match for all of you. I'm sure his abilities will blow you all away."
Robin eyed Slade as he suspiciously asked, "What new enforcer?"
Suddenly they all heard the sound of the wind blowing, almost sounding like a whistle as they looked around curiously.
Beast Boy looked a bit nervous as he curiously asked, "Anyone else feel a draft?"
The whistle started getting somewhat louder and then they saw small amounts of dirt and debris begin to swirl a few feet in the air. They all stared at the spot as a small tornado formed seemingly composed of grey smoke as it swirled at highspeed. The tornado was approximately twenty feet tall as it kept swirling and a face formed in the front of its smoke as it had black "eyes" and a "mouth". The vortex of smoke also sprouted two arms out of its sides that were made of swirling smoke with four fingers (including the thumbs) on each hand that looked like smaller tornadoes. The living tornado opened its mouth as it let out a loud hissing moan while it glared at everyone else and prepared to attack. The Titans were somewhat shocked while Trigon's sons were baffled and angered as they stared at the living vortex.
Slade looked at them as he held his hand out toward the tornado before looking at it as he said, "I'd like you all to meet my new recruit: Bluster. Destroy them."
Bluster let out a loud hiss as his left swirling arm became a tendril and he stretched it out and lashed it at the Titans. He hit Cyborg and Starfire and the air pressure hit them hard and knocked them away as they crashed threw a wall. Robin and Beast Boy were shocked and then they scattered as Bluster came toward them and they avoided being sucked up by his current. Gluttony angrily flew at Bluster and tried to punch him, but being made of air he could not harm him as he sucked him up and swirled him around inside his vortex. He then held out his left arm as a tendril and shot Gluttony out and sent him crashing into Sloth, angering the others. Raven was somewhat shocked before Psimon telekinetically lifted huge chunks of concrete and hurled them and Bluster. He retracted his arms as the chunks of concrete hit him but had no effect as they swirled around inside him, then Bluster hurled them out of his vortex back at Psimon. He let out cries of fright as he dodged them before Robin desperately threw a birdarang at Bluster, but it only swirled around in his vortex before he sent flying back at Robin. Starfire flew at Robin and got him out of the way as it impaled a wall behind him, then Lust shot his four red eyebeams at Bluster.
However, they passed harmlessly through him and Beast Boy fearfully asked, "Dude, how do you fight air?!"
Robin glared at Bluster as he fearlessly said, "By nocking the wind out of it!"
Cyborg rejoined them as they tried to fight the living tornado while Raven's demon half-brothers did the same while Slade watched with an amused look in his eye.
He kept watching as he said, "I do love free entertainment."
Sloth created a monster out of his red and black energy that attacked Bluster as it slashed its claws at him, but they harmlessly passed through him. Bluster then punched him with both arms and sent the monster flying back and crashing into a wall before it disappeared. Gluttony's hands glowed with red energy as he yelled in fury and tried to attack Bluster, but he sucked him up and blew him out of the top of his funnel. Bluster then turned to the Titans as Beast Boy morphed into a Triceratops and charged at him, but Bluster's arms became smaller tornadoes. He pointed the funnels of them out toward Beast Boy, blowing out powerful gusts of wind that send the green Triceratops flying and crashing into Starfire.
Beast Boy turned human as he laid on top of Starfire and said, "Dude, this guy's a real blowhard!"
Bluster's arms returned to their normal before Raven telekinetically hurled chunks of debris at him, but they passed through him. He then stretched his left arm out and covered Raven's head and she held her throat as she wheezed a bit in distress. Robin pulled Raven free while Bluster's arm retracted and he glared at them while exhaling in a monstrous manner.
Raven was taking deep breaths as Robin asked, "What happened?"
Raven looked up at him as she urgently answered, "He made it so I couldn't breathe."
Starfire heard this as she gasped and said, "Breathtaking!"
Cyborg joined them as he readied his right sonic cannon and fiercely said, "Alright loudmouth, listen to this!"
He aimed his sonic cannon at the bottom of Bluster's vortex and made Bluster shake a little bit as he moaned in what seemed to be pain. Cyborg blasted him in his mouth and while passed through Bluster, it did seem to hurt him in some way as he moaned again.
Beast Boy and Starfire joined them as Beast Boy surprisedly asked, "That actually worked?"
Cyborg figured something out as he said, "If we can disrupt his airflow I think we might be able to stop him!"
Raven was not so reassured as she said, "Might be?"
Robin glared at Bluster as he said, "It's worth a shot! Titans go!"
Bluster glared at them as he hissed viciously before Raven threw her hands out and created a wall of her dark magic that cut off Bluster's right hand. He moaned in pain as the part cut off dissipated but then his hand reformed itself and he glared at them while hissing. He then started growing bigger as he became fifty feet tall from sucking in more air as he was now even taller than Malchior.
Starfire stared at Bluster as she said, "The wind creature appears to grow more powerful as it sucks in more air."
Bluster shot his fists out and knocked all the Titans back before Raven's half-brothers got his attention as a few of them attacked. Lust shot his four red eyebeams while Gluttony shot blasts of red and black magic from his hands and Envy created a giant sword out of his red and black energy. The eyebeams and blasts passed through Bluster but the sword chopped off the top half of his vortex body. They smiled triumphantly but Bluster's body reformed as he sucked in air and returned to his previous appearance and glared at them. He then moved himself around and sucked up large chunks of debris into his body, then he held his arms out as they transformed into smaller tornadoes. With the funnels pointing at them, he shot all the debris he sucked up in his body out his tornado arms and at the three demons. Chunks of concrete hit all of them and knocked them to the ground before Bluster started moving toward them. Malchior stood in front of him as Bluster retracted both of his arms and then Malchior breathed a stream of fire at him. However, Malchior's dragon fire only made Bluster more dangerous as he sucked up the fire and became a living fire whirl.
The Titans' jaws dropped in shock and fear as Cyborg sarcastically yelled, "Nice going dragon boy!"
Malchior was shocked as Bluster moved to him and sucked the dragon up before shooting him out as his flames burned Malchior as he lied on the ground in pain. Bluster's eyes and mouth were now red as he glared at Wrath, who threw a few fireballs at him, but Bluster harmlessly absorbed them. He then sprouted two arms made of swirling fire which he swung out as he punched Wrath, burning him and sending him flying. Greed and Envy both created a big wall of their red and black energy that chopped off Bluster's hands before they arrogantly dropped it but they reformed. He then knocked away the two demon boys and burned them as they cried in pain and crashed to the ground.
Bluster then started shooting embers from his body as the Titans took cover and Robin said, "We have to cool him off!"
Beast Boy looked and saw a fire hydrant and smiled as he ran to it and yelled, "Hey Bluster, hope you're thirsty!"
He then turned into an elephant and kicked the fire hydrant with his front right leg, damaging it and causing water to come spewing out of it at Bluster. The water extinguished the flames swirling in Bluster, however it kept coming and Bluster became a living waterspout. His arms became swirling tendrils of water, which he lashed at the Titans and knocked them while soaking them.
They sat up as Raven glared at Beast Boy and sarcastically said, "Nice firefighting."
Robin then pulled out three discs in each hand and threw them at Bluster, hitting different areas as they froze all the water in his vortex body. However the ice broke into billions of tiny pieces and Bluster turns his arms into smaller tornadoes with the funnels pointing at them. The tiny sharp pieces were blown out of his body and came flying at them as Raven shrouded her friends in a field of her dark magic before disappearing. Running out of ammo, Bluster stopped and looked around when they reappeared, and he held out his tornado arms again. This time he was using them as vacuums as he tried to suck up the Titans when Cyborg shot out his right hand on a cable and grabbed a lamppost and Robin deployed his grapple.
They held on as Raven and Starfire helped them and Cyborg fearfully screamed, "This dude really sucks!"
Beast Boy screamed in fear as Bluster sucked him up with his left arm as Starfire cried out, "Beast Boy!"
Beast Boy was swirling around inside Bluster's vortex body, screaming until he got an idea and yelled, "People always call me a choke artist!"
He then morphed into a blue (green) whale and his mass caused Bluster's tornado body to disperse before Beast Boy plopped onto the ground.
The others were amazed as they went to him as he turned human and Robin commended, "Good thinking Beast Boy!"
Beast Boy put his fists on his sides as he proudly bragged, "Yeah, guess I really broke wind."
Raven, Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire's eyes all widened in fear as they stared and Cyborg pointed while saying, "Uh… Beast Boy…"
Behind Beast Boy a tiny swirling cloud manifested on the ground and grew exponentially bigger as Bluster reformed.
Beast Boy stared forward in fear as he knew what was coming and complained, "Oh come on!"
Bluster hissed angrily as he grew to the size of a real tornado with his funnel reaching the clouds and he held his arms out while glaring down. The people of Jump City could see Bluster as the monstrous living tornado howled in rage and they ran away in fear. Bluster was distracted from the Titans when Psimon shot a pink psionic beam from his forehead at the living vortex, but it had no effect. Bluster exhaled in rage as he turned his arms into smaller tornadoes and tried to suck up Psimon and Raven's half-brothers, but they flew away. However, Bluster managed to suck up Malchior and whirled him around in his body before throwing him out at the villains, and Malchior crashed into Trigon's sons but missed Psimon.
Robin urgently watched before turning to Starfire while he said, "Bluster could destroy the city! We have to stop him! Starfire, I've got an idea! Circle Bluster as fast as you can, in the opposite direction!"
She nodded as she flew up toward the middle of Bluster and circled his vortex as she flew in the opposite direction. She flew with her superspeed and she created another tornado in the opposite direction, which created a countercurrent that made Bluster dissipate. It seemed to work as she stopped and floated over her friends as she giggled happily, but Bluster reformed as a tiny swirling cloud of grey smoke. He then grew back to his giant size again and howled in rage as he punched Starfire with his right arm, sending her crashing to the ground.
Robin ran to her with concern as he yelled, "Starfire!"
He heard the howling winds as Bluster moved closer and sucked up Robin into the bottom of his vortex body as he screamed in distress.
Starfire came to and saw this as she yelled, "Robin!"
Robin was lifted higher into Bluster's body while Starfire flew to try to help him but Bluster threw him out over a hundred feet in the air. Robin was falling until he grabbed the edges of his cape and held them out as it changed shape with the bottom edge having points on it. It now looked like bird wings as his cape became a glider that Robin used to safely glide to the ground while Starfire flew beside him. He landed and then his cape returned to its usual shape as Robin pushed a hidden button on his collar before they looked up at Bluster. Cyborg fired his right sonic cannon at Bluster a few times, but his sonic cannon, but his current size prevented him from being hurt by the sonic cannon. Robin threw a few explosive discs and they exploded inside Bluster's arms, which made them destabilize for a moment as he showed a bit of discomfort. They returned to their swirling current and he hissed down before Raven threw her hands out and created giant platforms of her black magic that cut off his hands. His hand dissipated but reformed as Bluster hissed at them before Cyborg launched six missiles from his shoulders. They flew at Bluster but swirled around inside before he made them fly out of his vortex body right back at the Titans. They all screamed in fear and got out of the way before the missiles exploded against the ground, then Greed shot bolts of his black and red lightning at Bluster. He seemed annoyed as he turned to the sons of Trigon while the Titans watched while panting heavily in fear.
Beast Boy was almost ready to give up as he looked at his friends and said, "He takes everything we shoot and throws it right back at us!"
Raven narrowed her eyes as she stared at Bluster before turning to Starfire while she seriously said, "We need to cut off his air supply. Starfire, fly inside Bluster and disperse his power."
She nodded before she flew up with her fists out and she flew inside Bluster's body and floated inside the center of his vortex. Her eyes glowed green as she threw her arms and legs out to her sides and released a tremendous shockwave of her starbolt energy. The shockwave broke apart the tornado as it cleared, only for Bluster to reform on the ground as a tiny Bluster reformed. However, before he could grow Raven created a small force-field dome over him and trapped him as he tried to break free but could not.
Her friends joined her as she looked down at Bluster and said, "Not enough air."
The others smiled as they looked down at Bluster in Raven's force-field as Beast Boy happily said, "Sweet!"
Starfire happily applauded and cheered, "Bravo Raven!"
Robin smiled as he looked at her and said, "Yeah! Great job! Now we can keep him contained!"
They all showed hostility as Psimon floated in front of them with Raven's half-brothers as Psimon said, "Clever move Raven."
Wrath smiled evilly as he said, "Yes sister. Your brilliant mind will make us invincible when you join us."
Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire stood in fighting stances while Raven sternly said, "Careful Wrath. I need to maintain my focus to keep Bluster contained."
Suddenly she was shocked from behind as she let out a cry of agony before falling to the ground, revealing Slade behind her with a jagged blade with red energy surging between the points.
The Titans were horrified as Starfire cried, "Raven!"
Robin furiously yelled, "Slade!"
Raven's force-field vanished and Bluster was freed as he sucked up more air and grew to fifty feet tall again as he howled viciously. However, Malchior got back up as he roared and hovered in the air as they focus on each other while everyone else stared at Slade.
Robin furiously asked, "What are you doing?!"
Slade eyed them all as he coldly said, "What needs to be done. You want to stop these demons? Then sacrifices must be made."
Trigon's sons all gasped in shock and rage while Beast Boy yelled, "NOOO!"
He then morphed into a Pachycephalosaurus and charged at Slade as he rammed him with his domed head and slammed him into a wall. He struggled onto his feet while Beast Boy turned around to see Envy knock the others away with a giant hand of his black and red energy.
He and his brothers floated with Psimon around the unconscious Raven as Lust evilly said, "Well this works perfectly."
Wrath had an ambitious grin as he agreed, "Quite. We'll bring her to tomb and help her realize her true dark nature."
They heard a loud stomping and saw Beast Boy charge at them as a T-Rex as he swung his head at them and knocked them all way before letting out a loud roar. They all fell to the ground before getting back up and glaring at him while Beast Boy changed to a sasquatch and picked up Raven and carried her to the others.
He turned human and gave her to Cyborg as he urgently said, "Here! Get Raven somewhere safe!"
Cyborg held Raven in his arms as he narrowed his eyes and said, "Whoa! Wait! What about you?"
Beast Boy glared at Slade, Psimon, and the demon boys as he fearlessly said, "I'm gonna show these guys what happens when you mess with a pack!"
Robin was shocked as he grabbed Beast Boy's shoulder as he said, "Beast Boy no! You can't beat them yourelf! It's…"
Beast Boy pulled his arm free as he glared at them and angrily yelled, "GOOO!"
They were somewhat intimidated before they obeyed and ran off with Raven while Beast Boy angrily marched toward the villains. Malchior and Bluster kept fighting as Bluster flew off the ground and swirled in the air as he punched Malchior in the face.
Beast Boy glared at Trigon's sons as Sloth impatiently said, "Step aside green creature."
Greed also glared at him as he said, "Yes weakling. Move aside or be destroyed."
Beast Boy clinched both his fists as he fiercely said, "No way! You want her you gotta get through me first!"
They all chuckled arrogantly as Wrath held two fireballs in his hands and said, "Foolish mortal. You've sealed your fate."
Beast Boy shot them death glares as he hatefully said, "Don't let my pretty face fool you! I'm tougher than I look!"
Psimon smiled tauntingly as he read Beast Boy's mind while he said, "I really must respect your bravery. You are more persistent and intelligent than I would've thought at first glance, for such a primitive boy that is. By the way, do you really think you have a chance with Raven?"
Beast Boy glared at him with hatred while the demon boys laughed at his feelings, but Beast Boy did not budge.
Slade walked up behind Beast Boy as he taunted, "How amusing that you actually believe you can hold them off by yourself."
Beast Boy glared at Slade out of the corner of his eye as he hatefully said, "Stay out of this Slade! I will stop them and protect Raven!"
Slade leaned closer as he sadistically said, "The same way you protected Terra?"
Beast Boy gritted his teeth as he growled viciously at Slade while the demon boys flew at him and dogpiled on him. Beast Boy instantly knocked them all away as he howled viciously, for he had turned into the Werebeast. Trigon's sons all stared at Beast Boy with a bit of shock as he glared at them before turning to Slade, who took a step backward as he stood in a fighting stance.
He eyed Beast Boy with a twisted look in his eye as he said, "I do like when you who your feral side."
Beast Boy snarled viciously before he roared and attacked Slade with so much rage and ferocity as he slashed his claws.

Beast Boy viciously slashed his claws at Slade, who narrowly dodged them before Beast Boy punched him and sent him flying. Beast Boy was about to attack him when he was hit by a bolt of black and red lightning from Greed, causing him to turn around to the demon boys. Beast Boy roared viciously before jumping toward them, only to be tackled by Gluttony and pinned to the ground. Gluttony smiled evilly as he punched him in the face five times before Beast Boy grabbed his right fist and held him in place. He then stood up and slammed Gluttony around like a ragdoll before throwing him away and sending him crashing through a wall. His brothers were somewhat surprised before Psimon folded his arms and telekinetically lifted Beast Boy in the air before slamming him to the ground. He showed a bit of pain as Psimon smiled arrogantly, but then Beast Boy jumped at him with his arms out as he roared ferociously.
He grabbed him and snatched him out of the air before pinning him down as Psimon angrily said, "Get off of me you stupid animal!"
Beast Boy roared in his face before Psimon shot a pink psionic beam from his forehead and knocked Beast Boy off him. Psimon got up and went up behind Psimon, but he got up and swung his right backhand at Psimon and sent him crashing through a window. Greed shot Beast Boy with another bolt of his black and red lightning, but Beast Boy ran at him with blazing speed and swung his arm at Greed's face and knocked him down. Lust shot his four red eyebeams at Beast Boy, but he swiftly dodged them before running at him on all fours and then he jumped at him and kicked him. He sent him flying through the air before he landed on a rooftop, then Envy created two giants hands out of his black and red energy, but Beast Boy saw them. He dodged them as he ran and jumped around on all fours before he pounced at Envy and tackled him, then he viciously punched him before whirling him around and throwing him away.
He turned around as Sloth glared at him and said, "Impressive, but I'll show you what a true beast looks like!"
He then created a huge monster around himself out of his black and red magic and it roared at Beast Boy, but he was not afraid. He tried to smash him with his hands but Beast Boy dodged them before jumping at his face and slamming both his feet at it. He made the monster of darkness stumble backwards before it grabbed Beast Boy and slammed him on the ground. He smiled evilly but Beast Boy lifted his hand off him with both arms and pushed him up before jumping at his underbelly and knocking him over. Beast Boy roared viciously until the beast swung its tail and knocked Beast Boy away as he tumbled across the ground. Beast Boy got up and snarled as the monster tried to pounce on him, but Beast Boy dodged it as he jumped high in the air. He came crashing down on top of the monster and slammed both his feet on its back, knocking it to the ground before slamming both his fists on top of it. The monster then vanished and Sloth laid on the ground, hurt as he had his four eyes shut and groaned in pain. Beast Boy prepared to slash him with his claws until he was hit by a fireball and he turned to see Wrath facing him with two fireballs in his hands.
He had a twisted smile on his face as he said, "I'll admit, you are quite ferocious, but even you cannot defeat us."
He then threw a bunch of fireballs at Beast Boy, but he ran around on all fours as he dodged them while Wrath kept throwing them. Beast Boy then retreated back and jumped toward the side of a building while flipping through the air and then pressed his feet against the wall. He used his strength to launch himself straight at Wrath and tackled him before they tumbled across the ground together. Beast Boy then got up and threw Wrath at a wall, hurting him as he fell to the ground, but he got up and glared at Beast Boy.
His brothers then teleported next to him while Beast Boy howled viciously as Envy vexedly said, "This form is stronger than all his others."
Greed smiled deviously as he said, "He is still no match four our combined might."
Beast Boy jumped toward them but they all held their hands out as they trapped him in a field of their black and red magic. They held him in the air and restrained him while clinching their fists as their energy field started squeezing Beast Boy. He let out loud beastly cries of pain as he desperately struggled while the brothers smiled evilly as they prepared to crush him. Beast Boy then growled viciously before he flexed his muscles while the demon boys started to show strain and then Beast Boy broke free. He then broke free as their red and black energy field was destroyed and he fell to the ground before running at them.
Lust was shocked as he exclaimed, "That's impossible!"
Beast Boy jumped at them and viciously beat the six demon brothers as his claws tore holes in their robes and outfits and he left some scratches on them.
They were knocked down as Beast Boy howled viciously before Slade came and twistedly joked, "You would make an excellent attack dog."
Beast Boy growled as he saw him and ran to attack him while the sons of Trigon got back on their feet and watched Beast Boy.
Gluttony clinched his fists as he angrily said, "I will wear that creature as a coat!"
He prepared to attack but Wrath held his hand out as he said, "No!"
The others looked at Wrath as Gluttony said, "What?! Why?!"
Wrath smiled deviously as he watched Beast Boy and ambitiously said, "So powerful, so vicious, that is what we need to win our sister and destroy all obstacles in our way."
Meanwhile, Raven groaned as she woke up in a bed of an abandoned building with her friends gathered around her.
Starfire showed concern as she asked, "Raven, are you alright?"
Raven held her shoulder as she cringed in pain before looking around while she said, "I'll live. What happened?"
Robin showed a serious expression as he answered, "Slade tried to eliminate you and your brothers tried to take you. We got you to safety while Beast Boy held off the others."
Raven's eyes widened in shock and fear as she said, "What?! You left Beast Boy alone with Slade and my brothers?!"
Starfire spoke honestly as she sincerely said, "He wished for us to protect you while he fended off the enemies."
Raven stood up as she urgently said, "Beast Boy can't take them on his own! We have to go back for him!"
Cyborg walked over to the window and pulled the curtain back as he looked and said, "Well he's right outside. We didn't really leave him. We just figured we hide and keep you safe before helping him out."
Raven walked to him as she asked, "Is he okay?"
Cyborg watched the fight with an uneasy expression as he said, "Uh… Not sure."
Raven pushed him aside and suspiciously looked out the window and gasped in shock as she saw Beast Boy in his Werebeast form. He was trying to crush Slade before Gluttony punched him, then he started fighting him as he roared viciously.
Raven became worried as she said, "Oh no."
Starfire and Robin joined them as the four of them watched Beast Boy ferociously fought Slade and Trigon's sons while Malchior fought Bluster.
Raven then urgently said, "We have to stop him!"
Cyborg looked at her with uncertainty as he said, "You sure about that Raven? I don't want to jinx us but I think he's winning."
Raven looked at Cyborg and the others as she urgently said, "You don't understand! My brothers will use anything powerful and chaotic to their advantage! We have to bring Beast Boy back to his senses before they try something!"
They understood but then watched Bluster send Malchior crashing to the ground when Robin said, "Okay but we have to take care of Bluster first. We can't help Beast Boy with that tornado rampaging around."
Raven looked at Bluster before looking at the others as she said, "If we can weaken him I can trap him again."
Starfire put her finger to her chin as she said, "Our best option would be to rupture his vortex from within using a powerful force."
Cyborg got an idea as he narrowed his eyes and said, "I'll handle this!"
He activated both of his sonic cannons while Robin asked, "What are you doing?"
Cyborg did not answer him as he ran out of the building as he grunted in fury while the others watched him. Bluster hovered in the air over Malchior before looking at Beast Boy and Trigon's sons as he prepared to attack them all.
He turned his face as he suddenly heard Cyborg yell, "Yo windbag!"
He yelled in fury as he ignited his Jump Jets and launched himself into Bluster's vortex body and ended up floating in the middle of him. He then grunted in fury as he aimed both his sonic cannons at each other and charged them up before firing. Both sonic beams collided and created a tremendous blue sonic boom shockwave that destroyed Bluster's vortex body, and Cyborg was shot straight down to the ground.
Starfire was worried about him as she yelled, "Cyborg!"
Bluster's body began to reform as he started out as a tiny swirling vortex of grey smoke, but Raven encased a piece of metal in her dark energy.
She made it fly at Bluster and wrap around him to cut off his escape, then she yelled, "Starfire shut it!"
Starfire took the ball of metal and used her eyebeams to weld it shut, preventing Bluster from escaping or sucking in any more air.
She held onto the metal ball before she and the others hurried to Cyborg as Robin asked, "Cyborg, are you okay?!"
Cyborg lied on the ground as sparks of electricity came from his body and he grunted as he said, "Yeah, but I'm NOT doing that again!"
The others were relieved as Starfire held up the metal ball holding Bluster inside and they could faintly hear him twisting inside.
Robin smiled proudly as he looked at the others commended, "Nice work everyone. That should hold him for a while."
Raven then hastily said, "Good, now let's help Beast Boy!"
A shadow was cast over them and they looked up to see Malchior towering over them as he evilly said, "Thank you for defeating my swirling enemy. As a show of gratitude, I'll destroy you all quickly to end your suffering."
He swung his right backhand at them and knocked them all away as they let out cries of pain and fell back before glaring at him. Cyborg was in no condition to fight as he could barely stand while Robin and Starfire helped him and Raven kept glaring up at Malchior.
He smiled evilly at her as his voice echoed and he gloated, "Be thankful your friends won't live long enough to see your brothers reign over this world, unlike you. You be the one to help them come out on top!"
He raised his left arm and prepared to slash his claws at them when Gluttony, Greed, and Sloth came flying through the air and crashed against his right wing. He curiously looked down at them before looking at Beast Boy savagely fighting Wrath, Lust, and Envy while roaring ferociously. Malchior then ran on all fours and came at Beast Boy before swinging his tail back at him, sending him crashing into a nearby building.
Beast Boy climbed out of the hole he made and snarled at Malchior, who ruthlessly said, "Fowl beast! Burn!"
He then launched a fireball from his mouth, but Beast Boy jumped and dodged it as it exploded against the ground. He launched himself at Malchior's face and punched with all his might, making the dragon's face jerk to the side. Beast Boy then rapidly slashed his claws at Malchior's face and knocked him around before he landed on the ground on all fours. Malchior swung his tail at Beast Boy again but Beast Boy grabbed his tail and held it in place before biting it, making Malchior let out a loud cry of pain. Malchior flailed his tail around wildly before Beast Boy came off and crashed through a nearby wall, but then Malchior was hit a powerful blast made of Raven and Starfire's combined energy. It hit him in his torso and blasted him back as they knocked him on his back before he finally lost consciousness. Beast Boy climbed out of the hole in the wall when he was surrounded by all six of Raven's younger brothers. They smiled evilly at him as they fired blasts of their black and red magic at him from every direction, making him howl in pain.
They kept firing their power as Wrath maniacally exclaimed, "Come on Beast! Show how ferocious you truly are!"
They stopped and he fell to his knees before growling viciously, then he jumped high in the air before he came crashing down. As he landed he slammed both fists on the ground, causing a small earthquake and sending large chunks of concrete flying at them, knocking them down. He stood in the small crater he formed and climbed out as he viciously glanced around, searching for someone else to fight. He had his claws out as he growled while looking around, wanting to destroy something while Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire looked intimidated. Suddenly Raven came up to Beast Boy's left side and gently placed her right hand on his left arm, he roared viciously as he looked down at her. Raven showed absolutely no fear as she stared him in the face with a sincere pleading look in her eyes, showing she desperately wanted her friend to calm down. Seeing her face and the emotional look in her eyes, Beast Boy's expression softened as his ears drooped and his eyes widened with emotional. While he had calmed down Raven moved her hand and placed hers in his palm as closed his fist over her hand, very gently to avoid hurting her. Beast Boy had a sad look in his eyes before he reverted to his human form and groaned in exertion before tiredly leaning against Raven.
She wrapped her other arm around Beast Boy in a semihug and gently said, "It's okay Beast Boy. Everything's alright."
The others joined them as Starfire helped Cyborg walk as she held him up with his left arm over her shoulders and they looked at Beast Boy and Raven. Beast Boy opened his eyes with a sad look and then they all heard sarcastic clapping and glared at Wrath as he floated in front of them with his brothers.
He sarcastically clapped a few more times as he smirked and said, "Bravo sister. That was a very touching performance."
Robin pulled out a birdarang and prepared to attack until Psimon floated and said, "No, that won't be necessary. You've won this battle. We concede defeat."
Wrath agreed with a twisted smile as he said, "Yes, we'll agree to a truce and leave you in peace, for now.
Malchior stood up behind Psimon and the demon boys while he glared at the Titans with hatred while they watched them all.
Psimon then opened up a portal behind Malchior as Wrath began floating back while he leered and said, "Enjoy your victory tonight, for your days are numbered as our triumph draws closer."
They then escaped through the portal, Malchior going first and Psimon entering last before it finally closed.
They stared at where the villains were as Cyborg honestly said, "I'm having mixed feelings about this."
Starfire agreed as she showed a concerned expression and said, "This victory is bittersweet, for they will return."
Beast Boy then curiously asked, "So what do we do now?"
They were all startled when they heard Slade say, "Prepare for the future."
They all turned their heads and glared at Slade as he eyed them as Robin bitterly said, "We should take you to jail right now!"
Slade had a smug look in his eye as he cleverly pointed out, "You have more important matters to attend to."
Robin gritted his teeth in rage as he hated to admit that Slade was right as he pointed and said, "Next time."
Slade faced them with an ominous look in his eye as he pointed at them and said, "Well see. Until then, remember what I said. Be prepared for whatever Trigon's sons; you need to be willing to do whatever it takes to stop them."
He then disappeared in the shadows and Robin angrily let him go while Raven looked away in thought about what Slade said.
She looked at the others as she asked, "What if he's right?"
They looked at her in shock as they all said, "WHAT?!"
Raven looked down before looking back at them as she nervously said, "My brothers need me to complete their ritual and they won't let anything stop them. Even if we manage to win a few small victories they'll never give up. The only way to stop them might be to destroy the key to their victory."
The others immediately protested as Beast Boy exclaimed, "No way!"
Robin was dead serious as he narrowed his eyes and said, "Yeah Raven! There's no way we're stooping to Slade's level!"
Starfire was emotional as she solemnly said, "Agreed! We shall protect you from all who dare harm or abuse you!"
Cyborg completely agreed as he said, "Yeah girl! We're not gonna sacrifice you just to stop your brothers!"
Raven looked at them all as she sincerely said, "Guys, I appreciate your loyalty, but my brothers will do anything to get me to help them. I would sacrifice myself if it would keep you all safe."
Starfire looked at her as she sincerely said, "And we would do the same for you, our friend."
Beast Boy then frowned as he honestly said, "Besides, even if you did sacrifice yourself they'd just keep causing more trouble around the world."
Raven frowned as she looked down and pessimistically said, "Maybe, but it would still be better than the alternative."
Robin seriously threw his left hand out to his side before pointing his finger down while he said, "But we won't let it come to that! We'll find another way to stop them!"
Cyborg then smiled optimistically as he said, "Yeah. They need your help, maybe we can use that against them."
Raven looked down with insecurity as she said, "I don't know. I'm not sure I can keep myself from falling to the darkness within me. You saw me lose control today, what if I do it again? There's a demon inside of me."
Beast Boy put his right hand on his side as he said, "Join the club Raven."
Raven looked at him surprise and curiously said, "Hmm?"
Beast Boy then pointed his right finger at himself, Robin, and Starfire while honestly saying, "There's evil in all of us, not just you. Your dad proved that when he made those evil clones of me, Cyborg, and Starfire."
Robin agreed as he solemnly said, "Beast Boy's right Raven. We all lose control of ourselves sometimes, it's human nature. We all have inner demons, you being Trigon's daughter doesn't make that any different for you. We help each other rise above ourselves and overcome the darkness that lurks within us. As long as we're with you, nothing will ever happen."
They all smiled at her and she showed a small smile of faith as she looked back at them and said, "Thanks guys."
Beast Boy looked down and noticed Raven was still holding his hand, and a big grin appeared on his face as he kept his mouth shut to avoid ruining it.
Raven started walking as she said, "Come on. Let's go home."
She seemingly forgot about holding Beast Boy's hand as he smiled with little hearts floating around him as he walked with her to keep her from noticing anything. Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg watched this and they couldn't hide their own big juicy grins as they knew Beast Boy was enjoying this moment. Meanwhile, Raven's demon half-brothers were back in the tomb with Psimon and Malchior as they listened to them.
Greed vented his rage as he yelled, "We were so close!"
Envy agreed as he furiously exclaimed, "Yes! We almost had her! She caved in to her rage and we could've used her!"
Lust angrily looked at them with his fingers curled as he said, "Until that green pest ruined everything!"
Sloth clinched his fists at his sides as he furiously said, "Yes! Him and his feral beast form!"
Gluttony was sitting on the ground as he hatefully said, "And that one-eyed traitor got in the way with his wind monster!"
Lust's four eyes glowed bright red as he furiously said, "And now we're no closer to getting her to help us!"
Wrath stepped toward them with a maniacal grin as he said, "That's not true. Despite his betrayal, Slade was very helpful and did reveal to us the way to win over our sister. Thanks to him, we now know Raven's weakness."
The others looked skeptical as Gluttony asked, "What's that?"
Wrath smiled wickedly as he answered, "Beast Boy?"
His brothers, Psimon, and Malchior were surprised as Psimon asked, "What do you mean?"
Wrath spoke deviously as he explained, "Her feelings for that green beast will be very useful to us when we use that against her."
Psimon began to understand as he smiled evilly and said, "His own feelings for her could also be used to our advantage."
Malchior chuckled evilly before he diabolically said, "Young love, a powerful force that always leads to tragedy."
The others showed devilish grins as they caught on and Lust ambitiously said, "So if we want Raven to join us we need to get the green one."
Sloth put his fingertips together as he evilly said, "If we capture him we can threaten to destroy him if Raven doesn't help us."
Wrath glanced around at them as he grinned evilly and said, "You all think too small. I think Beast Boy could be a useful ally to us if we just change his mind a little. Raven's sweet little green friend will be our tool of conquest."
Back at Titans Tower, Raven was sitting on the rocky shore of their island as she stared out at the ocean with the stary night sky over it. Robin and Cyborg were helping Cyborg repair himself inside and earlier they handed Bluster over to the police. She had her legs folded and her arms at her sides as she sat on a large rock thinking about everything that happened and what her friends told her.
Beast Boy came and sat down next to her as he asked, "You okay?"
She glanced at him before looking back at the horizon as she answered, "Yeah, just trying to clear my head."
Beast Boy stared at the horizon for a moment before looking at her as he gratefully said, "Hey, thanks for helping me when I went wild. You really helped me out."
She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye before staring at the horizon as she said, "Don't mention it. You did the same for me, so we're even."
Beast Boy stared at the horizon in thought as he admitted, "Good thing we had each other to calm ourselves down."
Raven agreed as she kept staring out at the horizon and admitted, "That's because we both know the feeling of losing control of our vicious sides."
Beast Boy looked at Raven with a small bit of surprise as he honestly said, "Guess that's something we have in common."
Raven kept staring at the horizon as she stated, "You said yourself, we all have our own inner demons we have to face."
Beast Boy looked around as he humbly said, "Yeah, but ours make us more dangerous than other people, that's why we try harder to control our beasts within."
He then skipped a small rock across the water as Raven looked at him and admitted, "True, and our own experience allows us to help each other deal with our own demons."
A small smile creeped onto Beast Boy's face as he stared at the horizon and said, "Then I guess we're lucky we have each other."
Raven couldn't help but smile a little as she admitted, "Yeah, I guess so. You know, you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but sometimes your wise beyond your years."
Beast Boy smiled as he turned to her and said, "Thanks."
Suddenly, when they saw each other their eyes widened nervously before they turned away from each other. They faced away from each other as they both blushed bright red, not bothering to hide their smiles as they kept looking away.

Author's note: That's the last chapter for a while. I'm taking a break from this to work on my other stories. But this was a great main episode. I wanted to work Slade into it and this seemed like the perfect way, to set a trap to destroy all his enemies. I also came up with Bluster as a new enforcer and I love how he turned out. I wanted to create something powerful enough to be a great challenge. I expect even Superman would struggle to beat Bluster. I partially got the idea from Disney's Hercules, remember the tornado Titan? Anyway, we saw both Raven and Beast Boy lose control of their inner beasts and they helped each other. The sparks are definitely building and that's something her brothers notice too. I'm sure you can all tell this won't end well. Please review.
