Chapter 5: The Summer Camp Cut Short

Date: Sunday 16th 2013

Time: 9:50am

As the morning arrived Carrie gasped awake and heard commotion outside.

She slowly gets out of bed not knowing how she got there for the last thing she remembered was being pushed by Chris into the lake and the masked man saving her life and blacking out.

She steps outside to see police at the camp.

Carrie didn't know what was going on but didn't get involved.

The Gym Teacher: Rita Desjardin who was in charge of the events at Crystal Lake for Chamberlain High had to make devastating news.

"Due to the recent events and the tragic losses of Kelly Payne, Daniel Neal, and Jessica Upshaw…I'm afraid our summer trip to Forest Green will be cut short tonight." Rita replied.

All the students groaned in disappointment in negativity.

"I'm sorry I know everyone's disappointed but I'm afraid it's for everyone's safety though the police have the culprit in custody our only option is going back home. So get your stuff packed. The bus's are due this afternoon." Rita replied.

All the campers left disappointed and Chris was just PISSED.

"I CANNOT FUCKING BELIEVE THIS! First they arrest the wrong man. And now they're cutting off our trip?! THIS IS BULLSHIT!" Chris replied.

Sue wasn't listening; she was grieving for the loss of her friend.

"SUE, TOMMY ARE TWO LISTENING?!" Chris called.

"Chris? Our friend JUST died last night. And the last thing Tommy and I need is to stay here with a hockey masked man running around hacking folks up. So if I'm not in the mood to brag about your complaints." Sue replied.

"Sue." Tommy replied.

"Not now." Sue replied.

Sue ran away crying leaving Chris dissatisfied but surprised she wasn't bragging with her…

However Jason was watching them from afar in the trees.

In Carrie's cabin she was still sitting alone trying to remember last night and then.

That's when Rita came in to see her sitting alone.

"Carrie? Honey, are you alright? We need to leave soon. You should pack your things." Rita replied.

Carrie said nothing Rita assumed the worst.

"Did Chris or the girls do something again?" Rita asked in concern.

"No. I…I don't really remember." Carrie replied.

"Remember what?" Rita asked in concern.

"I…I got pulled out of water by someone. I…don't know by who but I thought he was wearing a mask." Carrie replied.

"How did you get into the water in the first place? I thought you couldn't swim." Rita replied.

Carrie didn't respond to that and Rita assumed she didn't remember that either.

"Well what matters is you're okay. Take five minutes but start packing soon. The bus will be here this afternoon." Rita replied.

Carrie nods and Rita leaves her to it and Carrie stood up and looked out the window…

…to see Jason looking up at her.

And Carrie gasped seeing him.

She had no idea who he was but wondered if it was him who saved her.

And soon…he was gone.

Carrie was puzzled and then went on her packing.

Jason watched over her all day till the bus arrived and suddenly…

"Jason." A voice came.

He turns around to see…

…or hallucinate his dead mother.

"My special SPECIAL boy. You cannot leave her defenseless. She needs to be protected. Like you needed protection. Those rotten little brats will continue to hurt her and you must stop them sweetheart. And bring her back here. She will be more safe with us than she will with them. Follow them Jason. And make sure she's protected. Do it for your mother." Pamela explained.

Jason nods and turns back to the camp.

He see's Carrie getting on board on one of the buses.

Jason went moved down the trees to get closer.

"Kill anyone who hunts her, Jason. Kill them ALL! And make them remember what FEAR TASTES LIKE! YOU KILLED THE GIRL!" Pamela replied.

"Hahahahaha! As always so gullible. But they say revenge is a dish…best served cold. But I prefer KENTUCKY FRIED!" Freddy said.

Unknown to Jason, Freddy is pulling strings on him to bring Carrie back to Crystal Lake in a plan for revenge since their battle…
