Scene 2
Meanwhile at a designated part of the Galaxy, several star destroyers from both the imperial union and dark force are seen gathered. One of Dark forces ships called the Decimator is vastly larger than the rest. Inside Grand Admiral Thrawn is seen with several guards speaking to Darth Exodus in a throne room aboard the ship.
Darth Exodus: Grand Admiral...I thank you for answering my summons Thrawn. I know your time is considerably constrained what with the rebuilding of your fleet and all.
Thrawn: I assure you Lord Exodus, my fleet has never been stronger. Deep pockets have ensured a speedy recovery.
Exodus: I see...and now onto the matter at hand. I'm aware that your agents have discovered that dark force is now in possession of the starstormer. The only question now is, will your union share in our certain victory or will you be the last remaining opposition to us when we inevitably achieve it?
Thrawn: Forgive me my Lord but your boastings remind me of our failed empire.
This is a rhetoric I have heard before. I'm only impressed with results not the opportunities to achieve them.
Exodus: I see...so you still believe your floundering Union can stand up to the power of dark force?! I warn you not to indulge in your foolish vision for too long. Nevertheless, you will have your results my dear Admiral. Then perhaps you'll be persuaded to join our cause.
Thrawn: I follow only the strong. I live to only serve the victorious. So until you prove yourself worthy, I will remain in charge of my union, and forge my own path to final conquest over the galaxy.
Exodus: You're a fool Thrawn. Dark force will rule absolute and those who are not with us... will inevitably be crushed into powder...
Thrawn: We shall see my lord...Now if you'll excuse me...I humbly ask to depart from your gracious presence so that I might return to my fleet.
Exodus: Go! But remember Thrawn...my offer for you to join us is very limited...as you shall soon see!
