CARAMEL
Sato pulled the tray out of the oven, gave it a brisk stir, wafted its sugary breeze up to his nose, and lightly dusted Todoroki's chilly side over it to harden the caramel. With a firm flick, he shattered the sugary slab into delectable morsels. He held a glimmering piece up to the light, its amber shell reflecting iridescent rays.
"Sweet! Time to see what kind of sugar rush I get off this stuff."
Sato popped the piece into his mouth and chewed. His jaw worked laboriously as the caramel stretched and pulled between his teeth. "Man, this is some stubborn stuff! Keeps getting stuck in my teeth."
He grabbed a toothpick and pried at the sticky treat. The toothpick got lodged inside the caramel and refused to budge.
"A glass of water should help."
He gulped down the water and swished. The caramel hardened under the cold water, forming an indestructible, immovable shell with Sato's teeth firmly wedged shut. Mouth full of water and unable to spit or swallow, Sato hummed and grunted with panic.
Sato shook Todoroki's hot side over his mouth. A puff of smoke wafted over him.
"I do not use that left side. It would make my sperm donor happy."
Sato silently pleaded with him. Todoroki slurped his cold soba, unmoved. With a frustrated grunt, Sato ran for the other bedrooms. He barreled into Momo's room.
"Mmph!" Sato pointed at the caramel.
"Oh, your teeth are stuck! I have just the thing."
Sato praised every god in existence. Momo pulled a massive chemistry book out of her cleavage and said, "Now, I just need to work out the exact molecular orbital structure of difluorotrichloroethylbenzoic acid, then submit the proper permits to create a Class V controlled substance, then determine the correct concentration and identity of alkaline solution to neutralize the- Sato?"
Sato pounded on Izuku's door. Izuku answered, and his eyes zoomed in on Sato's jaw. "You appear to have cancer. Do you desire removal of the malignant growth?"
Sato got on his knees and pantomimed begging. Izuku said, "Verbal response required. Please say yes for free medical treatment."
"Mmph!"
"Verbal command not recognized. Would you prefer to answer in JSL?"
Sato nodded frantically.
"Nonverbal response recognized. To confirm, you would like the malignant tumor removed?"
More frantic nodding.
"Response confirmed. Beginning treatment."
Izuku drew a lightsaber, swung, and sheathed it. A wriggling mass of flesh fell out of Sato's neck.
"Tumor removed. You no longer have thyroid cancer."
Sato swore through his caramel as he ran for whatever help he could find. He ran chest-first into Mina.
"Ow. Hey, watch it!"
"Mmph!"
"Oh, you need my acid to get your teeth unstuck? Why didn't you say so!"
"M-m-mmph!"
"Don't worry, I've done this before. Here you go!"
Mina's acid washed over Sato's mouth. The caramel frothed and bubbled, expanding outward. Sato shrieked as the caramel filled his nose, covered his eyes, and encapsulated him in a caramel statue.
"Uh… whoops."
