Opening 7 "Hajimatteiku Takamatteiku" by Sambomaster
Starts off with the introduction of Kawaki, who slowly turns around and menacingly raises out his right hand. As he does that, debris starts to levitate around the air as we zoom out to the destruction of Japan before the series title reveals itself.
As the song picks up, we see shots of a few U.A. Students, Boruto(who looks down before gazing up), Izuku(who looks at his scared right hand before gazing forward), Katsuki(who glares with one hand in pocket before un-tightening his right hand to do a mini-explosive), Sarada(who takes off her glasses and activates her Sharingan), Shoto(who looks upward and blows ice fog from his mouth), Mitsuki(who has a snake around his arm/gazes up while sitting on a tree). Next shows some of the Pro heroes(Naruto, All Might, Sasuke, Endeavor, and Shota).
We then cut to the League of Villains, Tomura (with gazes from his hand-mask) the Shins(both serious with their Sharingan's active), and Kurogiri(who opens a portal to his side), along with new recruits: Dabi, Nanashi, Himiko, and Shizuma. With all of them being in the shadow of All for One (who has his back turned in not revealing himself).
Next shows Kawaki in the outskirts and deserted area of Japan as a flock of crows fly nearby. We then move on to Boruto (who's Karma seal activates in his right palm before he closes it) and Izuku (who activates the bio-electricity of One for All around him), along with the rest of Class 1-A in their hero costumes as they all stand in battle positions with firm expressions.
Observing the ruined land of Japan from afar is none other than Kara the Husk, who all have dark black cloaks as the wind breezes through them. We then cut to Kawaki being in what appears to be a test tube and blows a few bubbles as the eye of Kara's leader open gazes over him. This is when the Kara reveals their full appearances, starting with Jigen(who lets down his hood), followed by Delta(who puts a finger under her chin), Boro(who glares under his hood), Amado(who adjusts his glasses), Code(who stretches out an arm), Oga(who smiles nonchalantly), Deepa(who grins evilly), Victor(who frowns with cane in hand), Zorvus(who smirks while looking ahead) and Koji(who smirks with arms crossed over chest). It next shows all members assembled in an alley, with Jigen taking the lead on a stair, with a hand on the side of his head.
As the song heats up, we cut to the destroyed ruins of Japan, showing the entirety of Class 1-A dashing at high speed to engage the members of Kara, splitting up into different fights: Boro fighting off Tenya, Shikadai, and Fumikage before delivering a punch to the dark shadow, a kick to Fumikage, another to Shikadai, and an uppercut to Tenya's chin, knocking his helmet and glasses off. Delta taking on the 1-A girls, mainly 5: She swiftly smacks Momo via electric whip, side-steps a purple aura fist from Sumire and elbows here on the side, then grabs Tsuyu by her frog tongue(the latter tried to restrain the android but failed) and violently throws her into Ochaco(who tried to use her quirk to get a touch in but failed), and then Sarada jumps to try to get a strike in, but ends up repelled by the electric whip and punched in the face, knocking her glasses off. We then switch to Code doing a flip-kick to knock the hardened Eijiro to the ground, dodging snake-strikes from Mitsuki and palms him in the gut before dodging an Ice wave from Shoto, including his fire, before closing the distance and punches him in the chest that sends him flying, he then dodged an explosion from Katsuki, who proceeds to take him on. It next shows Koji engaging in close combat with Boruto, who manages to keep up and avoid his inflamed fists before jumping out the away as Izuku lunges at Koji with a smash, who avoids it at the last minute.
When the smoke clears, the two boys look around and are shocked to see their classmates defeated and unconscious around the battlefield. This causes Izuku to widen/grit his teeth in anger with surging red lines through his body while Boruto yells out in a fit of rage, activating his Karma throughout the right side of his body.
Next shows them fighting the 4 Kara inners, attacking nonstop. A combined attack is launched by Koji and Delta, and as it was about to land, Kawaki jumps into the fray and absorbs the attack, grimacing and revealing his own Karma seal. Surprised by this entry, Katsuki also joins the three, with them having no intention of giving up even while battered.
With the four of them united, they combat against the 4 inners. During this, Kawaki uses a red blast from his Karma, Bakugo uses his gauntlets to form a blast in the same manner respectively, Izuku throws his right fist forward, creating a massive shockwave that's on the level of his mentor while Boruto comes in through the smoke in mid-air and uses a gigantic Rasengan as the final blow. All 4 attacks create a huge explosion in the ruins of Japan, with the large sphere being enough to reach outside of earth.
Last panels show the smoke clearing and them being the only ones left, they're exhausted from fighting and look up at the sunset as it shines down on them and a crow flows by the three, including Kawaki, their new ally, before the song closes.
Chapter 83: Parties Collide (Part 2)
At the next city, an Outer member of Kara has been following Kawaki and Eri around for awhile after having spot them getting out of the truck they stowed away on.
The outer makes a call to an Inner on his phone from afar, reporting, "I've found him." He adds, "He went underground, I guess through a tunnel. What should I do next, Mr. Deepa?"
On the other line, the Inner instructs while walking down an alleyway, "Continue tailing him and don't do anything until I arrive for him myself." The inner communicates through via phone, "Wouldn't want you Outers messing things up."
"Yes sir." The Outer replies before Deepa hangs up on his end.
For the next 20 minutes, he succeeds in following the two through the underground tunnels, then back up to the streets, which eventually leads to an abandon factory in the middle of nowhere.
"So far so good..." The outer mutters inwardly, "If I keep this distance till Mr. Deepa gets here, I'll-"
"Ooohh."
"!" He turns to see the murderous school-girl behind him.
"Are you after him to?" She asks with a menacing smile, "Sorry, but that's not an option for you." She then proceeds to stab him with her knife.
"GYAAAHH!" The outer screams in pain.
"!" Kawaki is alerted to this and turn around, "What the hell was that?" The former wonders, going to check it out and when they turn to the corner, they see the serial killing school-girl having just gotten finished stabbing the Outer to death with her knife.
As Eri stands behind him as usual, Kawaki's on guard to whoever this girl is and asks, "Who are you?"
After taking her knife out of the Kara outer, she gazes over at the half-blonde and upon seeing him, "Ah..." She starts to blush a bit with eyes opened wide.
"So? Speak up!" Kawaki gets a little impatient.
"Now aren't you a cutie." Toga compliments with a blushing grin, which the half-blonde narrows in confusion, annoyingly, "It's destiny that I found you first, hee hee!"
"This psycho girl..." Kawaki grimaces, in finding her crazy already, "Are you gonna stop with the weird talk and tell me who you are? Or should I put you out of your misery as it is?" He threatens.
She ignores his warning, "You wanna know who I am, do you? Yay!" She delights in a jump with blood on her hands and knife, "I'm Himiko Toga!" She introduces, "In case you wanna know, everyone one of us villains are out to get you!" She adds excitedly, "But it's destiny that I found you first, because if I turn you over to the league of villains, the group that Mr. Stainy use to associate with, I'll become their newest member!" She jumps again, excitedly."
"Tsk, so you're trying to turn me over to that asshole, Shigaraki." Kawaki figures, on guard, "Well I'd like to see you try."
Toga points her knife at him, "You'd look a lot cuter if you were covered in blood. How about I stab you up a little before we go on our merry way, hee hee!" She giggles.
Before the fight could breakout, they hear footsteps echoing near, getting their attentions as to who shows up, being known other than Deepa, who appears with a grimace on him.
"..." The Inner gazes to both of them on opposite sides of the other.
"It's you..." Kawaki widens in surprise at recognizing, "Deepa!" He glares, gritting his teeth.
"Wait... you're the one I encountered a couple hours ago!" Toga recognizes as well before asking Kawaki, "And you know him too?"
"Have I met you somewhere before? Deepa asks the school-girl killer, acting like he doesn't recall their encounter before noticing the Outer he was in contact with is laying on the floor, dead, next to Toga's feet, "Hmph... should have gotten an Outer that wasn't such a weakling." He said, expression no remorse at the fallen Outer, "Since you did a number on him, missy, are you after my 'target' too?" He asks Toga.
"Target? You mean this cutie that I've spotted first?" Toga asks, "What business do you have with him anyway?"
"You see, Kawaki and I go way back." Deepa smirks as he eyes the half-blonde, "Don't we? Can't have you forgetting my violent training methods."
"Asshole... Still the same sick psychopath you've always been. How about you drop dead and go to hell." Kawaki curses him in return as Eri stands behind him.
He chuckles at the threat before telling this to Toga, "He's Kara's property, so be a doll and get lost."
"And if I refuse?" She asks, smirking with her knife ready.
"Unfortunately, you don't have a choice in the matter!" Deepa immediately attacks the three with carbon bullets.
Thinking on the fly, Toga hides behind a huge metal standing-plate while Kawaki grabs Eri and quickly hides behind several cargo boxes, both dodging the carbon shots.
"You're expected to return alive of course, Kawaki, but as for the other two..." Deepa refers to Toga and Eri, "I'll be getting rid of!" He intensifies his barrage of bullets, forcing them to scatter through the warehouse as their hiding spots were being broken down.
"Tch! Why not stop the spam and let me stab you already!" Toga exclaims in annoyance as she continuously dodges his barrage.
"Deepa's carbonation powers makes him a pain in the ass to fight against." Kawaki notes inwardly while in the air with Eri under his arm, "In that case." As he lands, he encases his arm in scientific wood and throws wooden knifes at the Inner, who carbonizes his left arm to smack them away.
"Have you forgotten how my powers work or what? A weak attack like won't break through my armor." Deepa brags, but then senses that Toga is suddenly behind him, "Oh my." He comments sarcastically.
"Stabby time!" She exclaims in delight before connecting her blade to his cloaked back, however, it doesn't faze the Inner, "Huh?" She narrows a brow as to why her knife isn't cutting into him.
"As I stated several seconds ago, against my carbon skin, no attacks can pierce me!" Deepa turns to give her a psycho grin before strike her with his carbonized elbow.
"Hrgh!" She blocks it with her, but the impact sends her flying a few feet back, plus, a some pain in her arm from the block, "So you're telling me I can't stick you up cause of that carbon armor of yours? Aww! That's no fair." She glares darkly, "I was looking forward to seeing you covered in blood."
"Oh, were you? In that case..." Deepa throws aside his inner cloak, challenging, "Since you claim my lovely armor to be 'unfair', I'll turn you into a bloody mess without the using my quirk, does that sound fair?" He grins.
"Ah?" Toga narrows a brow in aggravation, "So you wanna play it this way? Fine." She readies her blade in getting ready to attack the Inner head on.
Seeing the villains face the other from afar, "These maniacs are free to kill each other for all I care." Kawaki mumbles under her breath in not giving a damn, "We're outta here." He and Eri use this chance to escape.
This grabs the attention of the Inner and schoolgirl villain, with Deepa commenting, "Oh right, I got sidetrack." He resumes his original task, dashing after the two, "There's nowhere for you to run, Kawaki!"
"That's my line." Toga in turn dashes for an attack at the Inner, "I told you before that he's mine!" She goes to slash him from behind, but he dodges it and retaliates with a punch, which she flips to the side and jumps off a pole for another.
This signals a close combat battle, with Toga relentlessly striking with her battle-knife an an attempt to stab him, but Deepa, with a wicked grin, easily sidesteps every strike without having to use his quirk and punches her in the gut.
"Gah!" Toga spits out before being kicked across the area, toppling on the ground until she crashes into a wooden box.
"A brat like you lacks the experience to be going against me like this." Deepa brags, "No need to use my carbon quirk on small fries like you." He turns around, having not forgotten about Kawaki, "Now where was I? Oh yes..." He dashes to get the half-blonde.
Toga, on the other hand, recovers in picking up her knife and sneers, "This isn't over..." She gives chase as well.
Meanwhile, "This place has too many areas, just where's the damn exit?!" Kawaki scoffs in annoyance with Eri still by him.
"..." The child sweats a little in nervousness before turning around to see, "U-uh... Kawaki..." She gets his attention.
"What?" He asks before see who she's eying on the opposite side of the room.
"This game of tag is over, Kawaki." Deepa chuckles, having caught up to them.
"Damn you...!" Kawaki gets into a fighting stance in case the inner makes the first move.
Out of nowhere, a knife is at Deepa, who carbonize his head to counter it and turns around to block another knife strike from Toga via carbon hand.
"So much for not using your power, you liar!" Toga taunts, even while a little bruised up from the earlier impact.
"Against a sneak attack such as that? I will." Deepa shoots back, "Now get lost!" He crushes her second knife with his carbon fist and smacks her aside.
"Ugh..." As Toga tries to get up, she ends up getting kicked in the gut, grunting in pain and hitting the wall.
The Inner turns to face Kawaki again, who's still in battle position, "A persistent little bitch, wouldn't you agree?" Deepa asks in referring to Toga, which the half-blonde doesn't answer, "Not be a good boy and let's go." The Inner taunts, "Ditch that child while you're at. There's no use for her."
"I'll ditch her eventually, but here obviously." Kawaki replies, surprising Eri, "While you're busy running your mouth, I'd watch my back if I were you."
"Oh? What's that suppose to mean, may I ask?" Deepa narrows a brow.
"Ha!" Toga goes in with her first knife and strikes, causing Deepa to use his carbon armor again.
"You assholes can have fun!" Kawaki makes a break for it not and seeing this a waste of time, grabbing the girl while he's at it.
"Hold it!" Deepa exclaims, but is busy with the persistent Toga at the moment.
"Deepa, was it? At this point... you can't take me down without your quirk, now can you?" Toga grins, even with blood dripping from her head.
"Grr..." The Inner gets annoyed with her already and after blocking a couple of her kicks and blocking some of her knife strikes with his armor, he grabs her by her front collar and head-butts her in the face.
"Ugh!" She grunts with blood leaking from her nose before she ends up getting thrown into an old machine.
"A filthy gutter rat shouldn't try to bite a lion." Deepa sneers, "Know your place." He readies is carbon air-bullets in preparation of ending this fight once and for all.
With quick recovery, Toga throws her last knife at the Inner's face, which is futile as he moves his head to the side, but that throw proved to be a distraction for Toga to make a run for it, out the area.
When Deepa almost gives chase, and turns out the doorway, he sees that she's already gone down the dark hallway, "Hmph. Yeah, you better run." He brags, in grimace, "That was more of a one-sided beatdown then a hunt." He adds, "Now to finish this task at hand." He resumes to recover the vessel.
After having left the old abandoned factory, "Finally lost them." Kawaki said, "Now then..." He gazes to Eri, who does the same "If I'm choosing the best time to drop you off somewhere, it's now." He adds before they continue moving.
Having escape the factory herself, "Huh..." Toga sighs a little, feeling a bit of pain in her body from her fight with Deepa, "No use in sticking around to fight someone I can't stab." She notes inwardly, "At the same time... it's a real shame I couldn't catch that cutie and turn him over to the league." She refers to Kawaki, finding it a bummer, "But this doesn't mean I'll give up in securing the league's position. Hee hee!" She giggles inwardly as she lays against a tree.
Meanwhile, on top of a building in the city, Deepa looks down at the crowd to see no sign of Kawaki, scoffing, "Tsk... the vessel got away again." He adds, frowning, "I blame that rat for getting in my way..." He refers to Toga, regrets at not killing her sooner when he had the chance.
Ending 7 "Datte Atashi no Hiro" by LiSA
Opens up in the morning skies above Coruscant as it changes to shots of the training grounds, highways, and speeders flying through the air.
We then see Padawan Izuku leave his coordinates and happily running off to training, but ends up tripping/falling on his face, upon looking up, he sees fellow Padawan Boruto extending a hand to him with a grin, with Padawans Ochaco, Tenya, and Sumire being there too. Izuku smiles brightly as his blonde friend helps him up by hand.
Next shoots to Shoto in his coordinates, in a sitting position and as closes as he meditates near his opened window. After being done, he opens the door to see the MC's and his fellow padawans, which makes him crack a smile. As they walk in the hallways, they greet Sarada, who waves, and Mitsuki, who smiles casually, both Padawans as well. The group walk by the training grounds to see Katsuki cutting down a couple trees with his lightsaber in fury. When they call out in telling that it's time for training session with Jedi Master Aizawa, the hothead exclaims at them dramatically in not needing it.
This is when the sky goes dark/overcast and all Padawans look upward to see Kara Droids levitating above them, forcing the teens to get in battle positions, igniting their green Lightsabers with serious grimaces. We cut to the young Padawans taking on multiple Kara Droids: Uzumaki slicing one down by it's head and Midoriya slicing one in the middle. As it appears though they're surrounded, they receive backup from the rest of their fellow Padawans (Eijiro, Shikadai, Tsuyu, Iwabe, and everyone else in the class with their green lightsabers ignited). The MC's grin/smile with a nod before they continue the fight with increased numbers.
As the fight continues in the destroyed field, everyone starts to tire down, and another unit of Kara droids approach, the renegade Sith apprentice: Kawaki, ignites his red Lightsaber and uses force-lightning to electrocute half of them, surprising the teen Jedi's at his arrival. He grimaces at the Padawans, but decides to fight in lending a hand.
With this extra amount of strength from a new ally, the group stands united and perseveres in dealing with the rest of the Kara droids: Kawaki force-crushes two, Bakugo slashes one with a battle cry, Sarada and Mitsuki doing a combined slash, and Shoto force-pushing one into the other. With the droids dealt with, they face the last one, an enormous Kara Mega-Droid towering over them.
Despite how bruised, battered, and tired they are, the united front aren't ones to give up and the MC's charge before doing a Jedi high-jump in meeting the foe head-on. Everyone roots for the duo to finish this fight, including Bakugo(who grins) and Kawaki(who grimaces with wide eyes). Uzumaki's lightsaber changes to dark-blue while Midoriya's changes to light-blue, and with the final blow, they slash the enormous Mega-droid in half, defeating it and ending the battle.
It goes white as it was the pages read in a 1-A textbook before the song closes.
Having found a house in the forest, Kawaki knocks on the door, which an old man comes and opens, "Well, how may I help you, young ones?" He asks politely.
"It's a simple drop off so I'll need you to take care of Eri here." Kawaki replies, shoving her forward, "From here on, she's not coming with me."
"Oh, uh..." The old man trails, "I'm not sure how to make of this... especially with adopting a child like her..."
"You'll figure it out." Kawaki replies and turns to leave.
"W-Wait!" Eri grabs his cloak quick with trembling eyes, "P-Please don't go... Kawaki..."
"Well you're certainly not coming with me, so suck it up and don't give me the puppy dog eyes." He states, bluntly, "Come with me any longer and you'd be even more of liability than you already were up to now. Plus, if I were to get any serious injuries, you'd be the first I'd blame for it."
"!" Eri lets go of his cloak, troubled with what he just said as it reminds her over Overhaul's statement's of someone getting hurt because of her.
"Nothing personal, but it's the truth." He adds, "Fighting to defend a life while protecting my own? Not a chance. You won't get anything good from being around me." He turns back around and almost leaves, but not before noting while gazing ahead, "You know... despite everything you've seen with the heroes and Kara, you didn't cry or scream,... I'll commend you for that, Eri." He admits to some extent, surprising her with her wide red eyes, "So stay out of trouble from here." He said to the child in final word before dashing off.
"Kawaki...!" Eri calls out with her hand forward, "Ah..." She puts it down, gazing at the ground as he moves out of site. She felt protected by him, but now he's gone off in trying to get away from those searching for him... and now, she feels alone again.
"Why not come inside, little lady." The old man offers.
"..." Eri slowly turns around and enters his house, not knowing how to feel or what to do now that Kawaki (who felt like a traveling companion) is done with her.
From afar in the bushes, the Shie Hassaikai subordinate that was following Kawaki around until now witnessed the whole thing and calls on his phone, "Young Master, Eri is no longer with the guy in the blue vest. He left her with an old man it seems" He informs, "Your orders?"
"Eri's been gone for too long and now that the guy you mentioned isn't there. retrieve her at once." Overhaul orders, "There's been enough delay in the next phase of the quick-destroying drug." He adds before hanging up.
"Affirmative." The henchmen goes over to the old man's house, "I'll wrap this up quickly." He promises in following his bosses orders.
That does it for this one.
Toga and Deepa went at it here, which ends in the Kara Inner winning pretty easily. In addition, Kawaki parts ways with Eri in this chapter, but she herself isn't off the hook yet.
We're also nearing the climax of this Pursuit arc in a couple chapters, so stay tuned and until next time!
