Two weeks after the murder of Yuho Yatagai, there were three killings, but not in Yomiyama, the victims had one thing in common - they were all Japanese and born in 1953.

The first was Hana Matsuda-Montclair the woman lived in Canada where she married, she was found dead in Lake Magog near Sherbrooke where she lived, she was murdered with a stabbing weapon and the motive of the murderer remained unknown.

The second victim was Shouya Hirabayashi, the owner of a rather large company, he was killed in a car accident - everything showed that someone had deliberately damaged his car, leading to the accident.

The third victim was Eiji Kujou, whose body was found in a popular place where many suicidal people chose to end their lives, however, it could not be ruled out that it was not a suicide but a murder posed as a suicide, due to the partial decomposition of the body it was not possible to determine whether it was a suicide or a murder.

These murders took place far away from Yomiyama, so no one from the local police was involved in the cases, however, one middle-aged man arrived at the police station that day, a photo in his hand picked up.

- Can I help you with anything?

- I would like to report something that may help in the investigation of the deaths of Kujou Eiji, Hirabayashi Shouya and Matsuda-Montclair Hana.

Moments later, Chigusa Nomura took the man in for questioning, she was a bit surprised when he wanted to help with these murders, but was curious when he mentioned these three, unrelated cases to the first eye.

- How would you like to help, Miyanaga-san?

Touji Miyanaga showed a photo to Chigusa, it was an old school photo from 1972, from the last class of Hireikan High School - a private high school in Tokyo with high standards, and pointed to a student with a "cut out" head.

- Miyanaga-san, I'm afraid this is not a Yomiyama-related matter, please go to another one.

- You are wrong, Nomura-san all the victims were killed or their killings were ordered by one person who was born and raised in Yomiyama, while Kujou, Matsuda-Montclair and Hirabayashi were, like me and their murderer, in the same class.

After which, Miyanaga pointed to Daito Minazuki.

- He was the first, Minazuki Daito born October 29, 1953 in Yomiyama, died around 1984 somehow

- What does this have to do with anything?

- Well, the perpetrator is also from Yomiyama, his name is Shion Muneyoshi, it was his face that was cropped out of this photo.

After a brief thought, Chigusa began to connect the dots - Yatagai and the others were in class with Junya Minazuki - the younger of the Minazuki brothers, who became the sole owner of the Minazuki company after his brother's death - could it be that Junya and his former friends knew Shion Muneyoshi? And were they all killed because of it? Did this mean that Shion Muneyoshi, considered missing since 1986, was alive?

- Please continue... Miyanaga-san... your testimony proved to be crucial...

- That's basically it, however, I must warn you that this man is extremely dangerous, he may be living in Yomiyama, fooling everyone he knows, and when anyone comes close to discovering his identity - he will either be killed or Shion will escape again.

Chigusa finally found what was missing from her investigation, the deaths of Ria Hironiwa and Kenshin Hironiwa began to make sense - as the Hironiwa clan and the Muneyoshi clan were historical enemies, and rumors circulated that the Hironiwa clan was responsible for the Showa day massacre, although no clues were found to support this claim, other than the historical intricacies between the two clans.
Soon Touji filled out the rest of the paperwork and was heading for the exit, when he came out of the room he ran into one of the other police officers - Akira Kobayashi.

The moment he saw him, Touji quickly realized who was standing in front of him, Touji tried to keep his cool, but still stared at Akira's face - hoping it was just a double, or someone confusingly resembling Shion.

- Excuse me, can I help you with something? - asked Akira politely, after which Touji recovered.

- It's all right, I just think I mistook you for someone, but I'm most likely wrong," he said.

not far from this conversation was Chigusa, who at that moment realized that Shionem could be Akira, if it is more than a mere physical resemblance .

Akira nodded and Touji walked out of the police station, after getting into his car, he began breathing nervously - he sincerely hoped that the color of the policeman's eyes was not merely the result of putting on lenses that could discolor Shion's distinctive eye color.
What he didn't know was that what he knew about Shion was just the tip of the iceberg, and he began to suspect him after he noticed how information about Shion Muneyoshi gradually began to disappear, even his photo was no longer available, and an old class photo from Hireikan High School from 1972 that Touji Miyanaga had in his possession had Shion's face cut out, indicating a break-in, only to erase him from existence.

"No, it's impossible for him to..." - Reassured Touji himself, he realized that it would be the least logical thing Shion could do - namely, to join the police force, and the Yomiyama police at that.

Nevertheless, Touji felt vaguely that this could have been an excuse - which he wanted to deceive himself with, Touji was sure that Shion was still alive, and he was also very convinced that the deaths of Hana Matsuda-Montclair, Shouya Hirabayashi and Eiji Kujou were connected to Shion, in the past in the days when they all went to Hireikan High School they had a good relationship with Shion Muneyoshi, in fact everyone including Touji Miyanaga and Daito Minazuki.

It was then that Touji noticed the first disturbing signs of Shion's personality, but he downplayed them and Shion gaslighted Touji as well as others who noticed his strange behavior, in most cases this worked as Shion had an exceptionally good reputation as a high school student, so that many people around him, despite noticing some of Shion's disturbing behavior, doubted what they saw or heard, and Shion further challenged their memory when someone asked him about it.
Chigusa then remembered Yoshiki Yatagai's heart attack - could it be that he reacted that way to Akira's presence?

"Who is he...?"

She thought slightly suspecting Akira, but for lack of evidence and the possibility of a mere resemblance, she decided to keep her distance, or conduct a private investigation for now.

At the same time, Naoki decided to ask Kaito for more details about Shion, waited for him as he returned from work and asked.

-Kaito, where did Shion go to school?

Kaito rubbed his forehead due to work fatigue and thought about it

- Hmm... let me think to junior high school it was probably here, and then probably to Tokyo...

- I already know.

He replied after a shorter moment.

- Hireikan High School.

This name meant nothing to Naoki, so he simply stood up and thanked Kaito for this information.

After going to his room, Naoki dialed Kouichi's number and called him.

- Hello, who is calling?

- Muneyoshi Naoki.

- Huh? Muneyoshi-kun?

How did you get my number?

- I asked Misaki-san for it.

- I see, and what are you calling about? You are the last person whose call I would expect to get

- You live in Tokyo, right?

- Yes, I will be going back there in a month...

- Have you heard about Hireikan High School?

- Hireikan?

Kouichi's voice seemed surprised.

- Yes, exactly do you know anything?

- It's one of the most prestigious high schools in Tokyo, maybe even in all of Japan... And why do you ask?

Naoki's tone became quite gloomy, he only uttered one word

- Shion

Kouichi immediately understood what was going on - as Mei explained some of the things to him, he flinched a bit but quickly sorted himself out.

- I think it's very possible that he attended this high school, are you looking for any clues about him?

- I do.
Can you tell me something that you know about that school?
Kouichi pondered for a while, gathering information about the high school in his head.

- All in all, I don't know much except that it's a fairly prestigious high school for boys, other than that I think that's all I know.

- In that case, that's all I wanted from you, if you remember anything call me.

- Okay, bye.

Naoki hung up and went to get Shion's photo - from 1973 or so - since that was when he graduated from high school, Naoki recalled the photo, it seemed to him that there were female students there as well.

When he took the photo he confirmed this - there were female students in the photo, so this meant that Kouichi was not telling the truth, or something had happened that Hireikan had become an all-male high school.

Naoki sat down at the computer and typed the name of the high school into the search engine - Kouichi was right, it was an all-male high school, after making sure Naoki took another look at the photo - one student had a wound on his face - inflicted as if with a white weapon, the female students looked distrustful of other students, and seemed neither happy nor neutral, then Naoki realized that Shion might have done something in his teenage years.
