Dean asks, putting the phone on speaker. Meg, on the other end, smirks. "You're never going to see your father again." Sam snarls in anger as he throws something across the room as Dean hangs up his phone. "They've got Dad, damnit!" He shouts, throwing his phone down, almost immediately moving himself into Maeve's arms. Sam is pacing, "Okay. Okay, let's think this through." Alec speaks up, trying to stop Sam's movements. Dean suddenly stands and takes the Colt, tucking it into the back of his jeans.

Everyone follows suit, gathering all their supplies. "So, the demon knows we have the Colt, now it's onto plan b." Sam says, the group of four walk outside to the impala and Alec's bike. "Good. We've still got three bullets left, so let's go kick some demon ass." Dean says, falling into the impala with Maeve and Sam as Alec climbs onto his bike.

...

𝑨𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓, the Impala is speeding down the road and takes a turn sideways. "I'm told you, Dean, we should've gone with him." Sam snips, breaking the silence as Maeve sighs. Dean rolls his eyes, his brother just loves to start fights. "We can't, Sam, we need is a plan." Maeve speaks up with a small sigh, "Now, they're probably keeping Dad alive, we just gotta figure out where. They're gonna wanna trade him for the gun." Sam just shakes his head and Dean glances over at him, "What?" Dean asks, "Dean, if that were true, why didn't Meg mention a trade?" Sam asks, getting upset with his brother. "Dad, he might be..." Sam breaths out, but is stopped by Dean as he turns to give him a glare. "Don't!" Dean snarls, Maeve immediately speaks up to break the tension between them.

"Look, we don't want to believe it any more than you. But if he is, all the more reason to kill this damn thing. We still have the Colt. We can still finish the job and if it doesn't work, then I'll take him out." Sam and Dean shoot her a look, to which she stood firmly in her own look. "Screw that, Maeve!" Sam sighs, "Dean, I'm just trying to do what he would want. He would want us to keep going." Maeve can't help but scoff with Dean, since when was Sam agreeing with his father. "Quit talking about him like he's dead already. Listen to me, everything stops until we get him back, you understand me? Everything." Dean tells his brother, a determined look on his face. Sam pauses to think, "So, how do we find him?" He asks, raising a brow to his brother.

"Maybe we go to Lincoln. Start at the warehouse where he was taken." Maeve shakes her head from the back, "Come on, Dean, you really think these demons are going to leave a trail?" She asks, crossing her arms.

"You're right. We need help."

The Impala drives off through the night, leaving the trio in silence, although Maeve held a confused look on her face.

π‘»π’˜π’ 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓, the sun is rising as the impala and motorcycle drive onto Bobby Singer's property, an old friend of John's. There are junk cars around and hubcaps nailed to the side of the house. A large dog is chained to a post and is lying on the hood of an old tow truck. It doesn't take long for them to get out, making their way up the porch. Maeve and Alec looking around with curious faces as Dean knocks on the door. "I'm comin'." There was a small thump and a cuss word before the door swings open, revealing an older white male with a beard and a blue hat on his head. "Boys?" The man asks, cocking his head to the side in confusion. "Hey, Bobby. We...uh.. we need your help, dad's in trouble."

Thirty minutes later, Inside, there are books stacked everywhere. It's very untidy and cluttered with papers on every wall. Bobby picks up two round silver flasks with crosses on them and hands one to Dean. Sam is sitting at a cluttered desk reading a very large book. While Maeve and Alec start preparing holy water, all the while talking lowly together. Sam eyes them every now and then as Dean explains who they were to Bobby, he also explains what they are too. Bobby almost faints, but other than that, takes it surprisingly well seeming as he noticed how much his boys trusted the duo. "Here you go." Maeve says, making her way over to the two men. Smiling towards Bobby, she hands a bottle to Dean, "What is..." She interrupts him. "Holy water, plus Alec added his own little twist to it." She says, looking over to her brother who was wrapping the broken rune from his arm.

Twenty five minutes ago, they had started arguing about her sacrificing another rune for the boys, until Alec mentioned something he hadn't told her yet. When he found them, she had asked him how he was alive, he brushed her off at the time, saying that he didn't know, but he lied. He did die on Olympus that day, and when she was freed, he awakened once more. This time, his body was covered in runes, not as many as her, and most can't be removed, but a few could. He didn't have a way to remove them, so he didn't say anything. The rune she had removed from his arm gave the holy water an extra boost, which would be detrimental to their fight. "That one is." Maeve explains, Bobby smirks and holds out another other flask. "This is whiskey."

He takes a swig of whiskey and hands it to Dean, who also drinks. Maeve politely declines when he turns it towards her. "Bobby, thanks. Thanks for everything. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure we should come." Dean speaks up after a moment of silence, Bobby frowns at the younger male. "Nonsense, your Daddy needs help." He insisted, shaking his head. "Well, yeah, but last time we saw you, I mean, you did threaten to blast him full of buckshot. Cocked the shotgun and everything." Maeve snorted, she knew she was going to like Bobby. "Yeah, well, what can I say? John just has that effect on people." Bobby replies, "That's an understatement." Maeve grunts out, Bobby shooting her a smirk in response. He found it a little weird that he was getting along with this strange supernatural woman, having wanted to kill her within the first few seconds of finding out, but then he saw how the boys reacted. He saw how they jumped in front of her to protect her, they were willing to fight him, who in his own mind, was a better father than John; just to protect her.

He almost thought they were brainwashed, she was a Greek goddess after all, but then she stepped around them, accepting her fate. She held no malice in her eyes, she was willing to prove that she'd rather die than hurt his boys and that made her ok in his book. Alec, was a different story, he kinda flipped out; after all, Bobby was a huge fan of the god. It was like meeting your ideal, if your ideal looked younger than you. He kinda wanted to punch the man, but he didn't. "Yeah, I guess he does." Dean breaths out, "None of that matters now. All that matters is that you get him back." Bobby replies, giving Dean a sympathetic look. "Bobby, this book... I've never seen anything like it."

Bobby comes over to Sam, who stands by Alec and sits on the corner of the desk. "Key of Solomon? It's the real deal, alright." Bobby explains, nodding towards the two males as Maeve tenses up, even Alec pauses for a moment. Dean looks towards his girl, "She's close." Maeve whispers out. "And these, uh, these protective circles. They really work?" Sam asks, bringing their attention back. "Hell, yeah. You get a demon in - they're trapped. Powerless. It's like a Satanic roach motel." Sam chuckles, Dean makes his way over to them. "Man, knows his stuff. It's almost go time." He mutters out, Alec nods, moving to make his way outside. "I'll tell you something else, too. This is some serious crap you boys stepped in."

"Oh, yeah? How's that?"

"Normal year, I hear of, say, three demonic possessions. Maybe four, tops."

"Yeah?"

"This year I hear of 27 so far. You get what I'm saying? More and more demons are walking among us – a lot more and now we've got to Greek gods out in the open as well. Not a good combo."

"Do you know why?"

"No, but I know it's something big. The storm's coming, and you boys, your Daddy – you are smack in the middle of it." The dog starts barking outside, Bobby makes his way towards the window, pretending to be confused by the sudden noise. "Rumsfeld." He calls out, going over to the window the dog stops barking with a whine. "What is it?" He looks out the window and sees the chain hanging broken and the dog nowhere in sight. He almost panics, but spots Alec on the roof of his barn with his dog in his arms. Good, the outside is covered.

As predicted, Meg brought a goon with her to take out their protection, that's where Alec would come in and take it out himself. Bobby spots a pair of feet sticking out from behind one of the cars, it worked. "Something's wrong." Bobby calls out, giving his signal just as Meg kicks in the door and saunters in. Dean slips the holy water flask out of his pocket. "No more crap, okay?" Dean comes at her, unscrewing the flask, giving her just enough time to hit him and send him flying into a stack of books. He appears to be knocked out, luckily he wasn't. Sam steps in front of Bobby, placing himself between Bobby and Meg. "I want the Colt, Sam – the real Colt – right now." Sam and Bobby are slowly moving across the room and Meg follows them, she think she knows what their doing, but she's wrong. "We don't have it on us. We buried it." Sam tells her, she scoffs. "Didn't I say, 'no more crap'? I swear – after everything I heard about you Winchesters, I got to tell you, I'm a little underwhelmed. First Johnny tries to pawn off a fake gun, and then he leaves the real gun with you two Chuckleheads. Lackluster, men. I mean, did you really think I wouldn't find you?" Maeve steps into frame behind her. "Actually, we were counting on it." She says with a smirk, Meg spins to face her, a flash of fear crossing her face as Maeve's eyes flash green. She takes on step back, and falls right into their trap. Dean coming up beside Maeve with a smirk of his own as he looks up, Meg also looks up and sees a large protective symbol etched there.

"Gotcha."

𐄁𐄁𐄁𐄁𐄁𐄁𐄁𐄁

𝑨𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓, Maeve had taken control and tied Meg up to a chair in the middle of the floor. Dean and Sam are watching her as Alec sits in the background coping at the dog. He had made friends with the fur-ball quite quickly, Bobby having grown a little annoyed at the fact that the Greek god stole his dog. "You know, if you wanted to tie me up, all you had to do was ask." Meg coos towards Dean, trying to get a rise out of the dark haired female. She wanted to see how far she could get, test the waters, for a being stronger than her; she wanted to see if she really would do anything. She wanted to know what she was, Meg had never felt that kinda energy, even Alec didn't feel as strong as her, but he was definitely similar. Bobby comes in with a very large canister of salt and a smirk. "I salted the door and windows. If there are any demons out there – they ain't getting in."

Dean nods and stands up from where he was sitting, moving around Bobby and Sam to stand in front of Meg. "Where's our father, Meg?" Dean asks, crossing his arms. "You didn't ask very nice." Meg coos, smirking up at them.

"Where's our father, bitch?" Dean asks again, Maeve almost dies at the look of him. God, could he get any hotter? Probably. "Jeez. You kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh wait, I forgot, you don't." Dean lunges at her, putting his hands on the chair arms. "You think this is a frigging game? Where is he?! What did you do to him?" Dean yells, Meg smirks. "He died screaming. I killed him myself." Dean just looks at her with hate, then hits her across the face. "That's kind of a turn on – you hitting a girl." Meg says, spitting blood out of her mouth. "You're no girl." He snarls back, Bobby stands up and moves into the next room. "Dean."

Dean follows and Sam moves up to him, Alec and Maeve continue to stand in front of Meg. "You okay?" Sam asks, Alec and Maeve listening in, "She's lying. He's not dead." He was right, Maeve knew she was lying. "Dean, you got to be careful with her. Don't hurt her." Bobby says, Dean scoffs. "Why?" He snarls back in anger, Alec and Maeve turn to face them. "Because she really is a girl, that's why." Alec says, Sam and Dean look confused. "What are you talking about?" Sam asks, looking towards the male. "She's possessed. That's a human possessed by a demon. Can't you tell?" Bobby speaks up, a frown on his face. Maeve raises her hand, "Alec and I can, but I don't think our boys know enough to tell yet." Maeve explains, giving her man a small smile. Sam blushes at her words, "Are you trying to tell me there's an innocent girl trapped somewhere in there?"

The trio nod, causing Dean to look at Meg, who is staring back at him. "That's actually good news."

...

Five minutes later, Sam is looking through a book for an exorcism ritual. Alec and Maeve had explained that using the newly upgraded holy water would send her ass straight to hell, but they wanted to scare her into giving them the information they wanted. Sam looks at Dean - who looks back at his brother – and they move over to Meg. "Are you gonna read me a story?" Meg asks, a small coo in her voice as her face grows dark. "Something like that. Hit it, Sam." Dean smirks, "Regna terrae, cantate deo, psallite domino..." He starts chanting in Latin, Meg turns to Dean with a deadpan look. "An exorcism? Are you serious?" Dean nods, "Oh we're going for it, baby – head spinning, projectile vomiting, the whole nine yards."

"...tribuite virtutem deo."

Meg flinches in pain, "I'm gonna to kill you." She glares at Dean, "I'm gonna rip the bones from your body." Dean chuckles darkly, Maeve actually shivers at the look on his face. When it came to his family, he was probably even willing to kill her too. Her arms move to wrap them around herself, "No, you're gonna burn in hell. Unless you tell us where our Dad is." Meg just smiles at him, "Well, at least you'll get a nice tan." He glances up at Sam, who is still chanting. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incuriso infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, onmis congregatio et secta diabolica..." Meg has been shaking and obviously in pain while Sam reads the exorcism ritual. She finally gasps in pain and Sam stops, "He begged for his life with tears in his eyes. He begged to see his sons one last time. That's when I slit his throat." Sam starts reading again and Dean leans down to her. "Ergo..."

"For your sake, I hope you're lying. Cause if it's true, I swear to God, I will march into hell myself and I will slaughter each and every one of you evil sons of bitches, so help me God!" Dean shouts in her face, Maeve flinches slightly causing Alec to grab her hand. "Cast the poison of destruction. Begone, Satan, inventor and teacher of all deceit." A wind starts to blow through the room. "The enemy of human salvation. To be humbled under the mighty hand of God. Tremble and flee. Called by us by a holy and terrible name. Whom hell trembles..." Meg starts to show signs of being in pain again. "Where is he?" Dean asks again, "You just won't take, 'dead.' for an answer, will you?" Meg asks, cocking her head to the side with a pained smirk. "Where is he?!"

"Dead!" Meg shouts back, "No, he's not! He's not dead! He can't be!" Dean is obviously getting very upset and angry. Sam is looking at him with concern, so Dean turns to him with a glare. "What are you looking at? Keep reading." Maeve sighs as she slowly moves to stand next to him. "I could make this quicker, ya know." Maeve murmurs as Sam continues to chant. "From the wiles of the devil, deliver us, Lord. To make your church safe for you, to serve with freedom, we ask you, listen to us." They turn towards the scene as the chair starts to slide around the circle. "So that you deign to humiliate the enemies of the holy church, we ask you to listen..." Suddenly, Meg gasps in pain, "He will be!" She shouts out. "Wait! What?!"

"He's not dead. But he will be after what we do to him."

"How do we know you're telling the truth?"

"You don't."

"Sam!"

"A building! Okay? A building in Jefferson City."

"Missouri? Where, where? An address!" Dean asks, watching Alex move to grab a pen and paper. "I don't know." She responds, looking up with a pained look. "And the demon – the one we're looking for – where is it?" Sam asks, "I don't know! I swear! That's everything. That's all I know." Meg cries out, the room falling silent. "Finish it." Dean says, "What? I told you the truth!" Meg replies in anger and disbelief. "I don't care." He shrugs, "You son of a bitch, you promised." She shouts at him. "I lied! Sam?" Sam doesn't say anything and Dean looks at him. "Sam! Read." Dean walks by him, Alec leans over, speaking quietly to the brothers. "Maybe we can still use her. Find out where the demon is." He says gently, "She doesn't know." Dean replies, "She lied." Sam says, "Sam, there's an innocent girl trapped somewhere in there. We've gone to help her." Bobby comes up to them, "You're gonna kill her."

"What?" Dean asks, "You said she fell from a building. That girl's body is broken. The only thing keeping her alive is that demon inside. You exorcise it – that girl is going to die." Dean sighs, a look crossing over his face before Maeve steps up. "Listen to me, you need to finish it." Maeve says, looking towards the brothers with a nod, they knew what she meant. "She is a human being." Bobby snarls back, his face scrunching up. "And we're gonna put her out of her misery. Sam, finish it." Sam looks at his brother and Bobby, he then looks towards Alec, who smiles back gently. He looks over at Meg, "Finish it." Dean calls, Sam takes a breath and keeps going. "Sundays of the holy church, hear us again, the terrible god I gave to his sanctuary, the god of Israel. Give strength and courage to his people, blessed God, glory to the father..." Meg throws her head back and screams. The demon leaves through her mouth in a black cloud and spreads out in the protective circle in the ceiling before disappearing.

Meg leans forward and blood starts to drip from her mouth, she slowly lifts her head. Maeve immediately moves forward, "She's still alive." She calls out, turning to Bobby as she snatches a knife from the table nearby. "Call 911. Get some water and blankets." Bobby rushes off. Dean and Sam untie Meg as Maeve slices her wrist with a hiss. Meg whimpers as they start to move her, "Thank you." She whispers, "Shh, shh. Just take it easy, alright?" Sam says gently, "Come on. Let's get her down." They lift Meg from the chair. There is the sound of bones crunching and Meg screams in pain. They lower her to the floor, Maeve quickly moves back over. "Ok, this is gonna sound weird, but I need you to drink." She places her wrist to Meg's lips and the woman reluctantly drinks. A moment later, she pulls away. "A year." Meg speaks, her voice strained. "What?" Sam and Alec ask together, "It's been a year."

"Shh, just take it easy." Sam breaths out, giving her a small smile. "I've been awake for some of it. I couldn't move my own body. The things I did – it's a nightmare." She continues, "Was it telling us the truth about our Dad?" Dean asks, knowing that soon they wouldn't have time to ask questions. "Dean." Sam grunts out with a glare, "We need to know." Dean insists, "Yes. But it wants... you to know... that... they want you to come for him." Meg breaths out in pain, "If Dad's still alive, none of that matters." Bobby comes in with a blanket and a glass of water. He hands the glass to Dean while he and Sam cover her.

Dean holds her head up so she can drink. "Where is the demon we're looking for?" Sam asks her after a moment of silence, "Not there. Other ones. Awful ones." She explains, a pained look in her face. "Where are they keeping our Dad?" Dean asks once more, "By the river. Sunrise." Meg whispers out as her eyes close, "Sunrise.' What does that mean? What does that mean?" But Meg has passed out, "What the hell is on her mouth?" Bobby asks, Sam sighs, standing up to pull Bobby away and explains things. He needed to know Meg wasn't dead, and that they would need him to make sure she gets out of there.

Five minutes later, the group of five were making their way towards the door. They're bags packed and the ambulance on the way, "You better hurry up and beat it, before the paramedics get here." Bobby explains with a small sigh, looking back at the unconscious woman, still trying to process what the hell just happened. "What are you gonna tell them, you've got a beaten woman on your floor." Dean says, raising a brow as he crosses his arms. "You think you guys invented lying to the cops? I'll figure something out, at least she isn't dead." He hands the Key of Solomon book to Sam, "Here take this. You might need it." Sam looks confused for a second, but gives the man a nod. "Thanks."

"Thanks... for everything. Be careful, alright?" Dean pulls Bobby into a hug, "You just go find your Dad. And when you do, you bring him around, would you? I won't even try to shoot him this time." Alec and Maeve chuckle lowly at his words, before the group of four leave. Alec deciding to ride in the impala with the others, leaving his bike with Bobby for now.

π‘Ύπ’Šπ’•π’‰ 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒏'𝒔 π’”π’‘π’†π’†π’…π’Šπ’π’ˆ, the group of four made it to Jefferson City, Missouri in about six hours. The whole time, planning out what they would do; Alec would take out any stragglers outside, using his bow which could separate a demon from its host. Maeve, would join the boys inside and take out any other trouble if they couldn't, the main objective, locating and getting John out.

The Impala is parked by some train tracks. Sam is looking through the Key of Solomon book on the roof of the car, spinning a marker in his hand. Dean is at the back of the car, loading up guns and putting them into his duffle bag. Maeve and Alec are prepping their own gear, Dean having snatched Maeve's pen from her and shoving it in the trunk. She argued against it, but with all three males agreeing on it, she wasn't allowed to burn off anymore runs. She could use her snake eyes or even her blood, but they didn't need her passing out on them in the middle of a fight. She reluctantly agreed after that fact, Dean is very solemn and Sam looks over at him, concerned. "You've been quiet." Sam speaks up, causing the siblings to turn in their direction. Maeve immediately knows why he was quiet, he was worried for his father, but he was also pouting at her because she was mad at him.

She wanted to smack him sometimes, she was the one who was upset, but he's pouting and making her feel bad. It wasn't far, him and his stupid face. "Just getting ready." Dean replies with a shrug as he pulls Maeve's sword from the trunk. She had been helping Alec make his arrows, using an Ancient Greek method. When they were young, they used to watch the gods use their powers to create weapons; and when Alec was chosen to be one, he learned how to as well. Even though she wasn't at the time, he taught his sister how to make them as well. She had gotten so good at it, the others would come to her for help making their weapons.

She's a lady of many talents.

"He's gonna be fine, Dean." Dean doesn't answer and Sam flips to another page of the book. He sees a symbol and picks up the book to walk to the open trunk lid. He rubs off the dirt and starts to draw on the lid, Dean looks up at immediately gapes in horror. "Dude, what are you drawing on my car!" He shouts, causing the Greek siblings to make their way over. "It's called a Devil's trap. Demons can't get through it or inside it." Alec speaks up, taking note of it. "So?" Dean watches in horror as he moves around to the other end of the trunk. "It basically turns the trunk into a lockbox." Sam explains, but Dean still doesn't care. He was marking up his baby! Well, his other baby... "So?" Dean says, throwing out his hands with wide eyes. "So, we have a place to hide the Colt while we go get Dad." Sam responds, giving his brother a look. "What are you talking about? We're bringing the Colt with us."

"We can't, Dean. We've only got three bullets left. We can't just use them on any demon, we've got to use them on the demon." Sam explains, sighing as he speaks. "No, we have to save Dad, Sam, okay? We're gonna need all the help we can get." Dean insisted as Maeve crosses her arms, "And yet you won't let me..." Dean spins to face her, giving her a look. "Sweetheart, don't make me spank you." Her jaw drops, Sam blinks and Alec chokes on his own spit. He has to pull himself together to hold his sister back as she makes a go at her boyfriend. She was so going to kill him! "Ok, easy. Come on, we both know you liked it, just walk it off." Alec murmurs as he pulls Maeve away, who smacks him. Sam turns to Dean with a bitchface as Dean watches them walk away with a smirk on his lips. He loved fucking with her, she was adorable. "Dean, you know how pissed Dad would be if we used all the bullets? Dean, he wouldn't want us to bring the gun." Sam says, changing the subject and bringing Dean back to reality.

"I don't care, Sam. I don't care what Dad wants, okay? And since when do you care what Dad wants?" Dean asks his brother, a frown of annoyance and confusion on his face. "We want to kill this demon. You used to want that, too. Hell, I mean, you're the one who came and got me at school!" Dean scoffs, "You're the one who dragged me back into this, Dean. I'm just trying to finish it!" Sam shouts, causing Dean to shake his head. "Well, you and Dad are a lot more alike than I thought, you know that? You both can't wait to sacrifice yourself for this thing. But you know what? I'm gonna be the one to bury you. You're selfish, you know that? You don't care about anything but revenge." Dean snarls, finally getting angry with his brother, but in all honesty, he was angry with himself, because he knows he would do the same.

"That's not true, Dean." Dean scoffs again, "I want Dad back. But they are expecting us to bring this gun. They get the gun, they will kill us all. That Colt is our only leverage and you know it, Dean. We cannot bring that gun. We can't."

"Fine."

"I'm serious, Dean." Sam gives his brother his infamous bitch face. "I said fine, Sam." Dean takes the Colt out of his jacket pocket and holds it up to show Sam before putting it in the trunk and shutting it with a huff. Alec watches them walk away, before slowly following after them. Maeve, however, looks towards the truck, her eyes glow as she places her hands on the trunk. A light shines, then it dims and her hands fall, a smile making its way onto her face. She didn't think it would actually work, it wasn't one of her powers, but she had a connection to this beautiful machine, plus the symbols were already magic, she just amplified them. "Sweetheart?" Maeve turns to see the trio standing there with confused looks, Alec seems to figure it out pretty quickly. "What did you do?" Sam asks, moving closer to wipe his hand over the symbols. "I just made them permanent, don't worry, they'll fade." Dean lets out a sigh as a look of relief washes over his face, "Oh thank god." He makes his way towards the trunk, opening it again. "Well, except that one."

"Babe!"

...

Thirty minutes later, after explaining to Maeve what the plan was; the trio make their way inside the apartment building as Alec took the perimeter. Sam walks in the front door and goes to a fire alarm on the wall. Just as he's about to pull it a man comes walking down the hallway. Sam moves to the stairs like he's going up them, but when the man leaves through the front door he quickly goes and pulls the alarm, before quickly leaving the building.

Outside the building, People are leaving and firemen are coming in. Dean comes up to one of the firemen, "Hey, what's happening? Is it a fire?" He asks, feigning confusion. "We're figuring that out right now, sir. Just stay back." The fireman moves Dean away, he starts talking. "Well, I've got a Yorkie upstairs and he pees when he's nervous..." He gives Maeve a nod, who comes up behind them. "Sir, you have to stay back." She knocks him out from behind, snatching another fireman from off the side. He yelps once, before silence falls over them. Sam moves behind them to the fire truck. He finds a compartment and picks the lock, the trio immediately dressing themselves up.

Inside the Building, Maeve, Dean and Sam come down the hallway dressed in full fireman gear – helmets, breathing apparatus, etc. Dean is using his EMF to check the doors of the apartments. "I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." Maeve smiles at his words, despite wanting to hit him, she loved learning new things about him. "You never told me that." Sam says, as Dean's EMF starts reading high. The trio move into action, Dean brining his fist up to pound on the door. "This is the fire department. We need you to evacuate." The second the door opens, Maeve kicks it further in, using her brother's holy water to exercise the two demons inside. Within seconds the room is quiet as Dean watches Maeve with heated eyes, "Go!" She shouts, shoving him forward as she grabs the hands of the unconscious couple and drag them outside.

"Over here!" She calls out to two actual firefighters that come rushing down the hall. "Take them, this floor is clear, I move onwards." They nod and place the people over their shoulder, carrying them away. Maeve turns and rushes back to the room where the boys are cutting a half awakened John free. She takes note of his wet shirt, she almost smiles in relief, but she freezes when she takes note of the feeling he was giving off. "Good boys. Good boys."

That wasn't John Winchester.

Maeve moves to say something, but as Dean and Sam are carrying John out of the bedroom. The front door suddenly bursts open and two more men come in, so much for Alec watching the outside. "Go! Go!" Sam shouts in panic, "Back! Back!"They go back into the bedroom and close the door locking it. An axe suddenly comes through the door, "Shit!" Maeve hisses, she spins to see 'John' watching her. He cocks his head at the sight of her, and in her own curiosity, she uses her eyes to look at him. A small gasp escaping her lips as she sees his true self, yellow eyes and all. Sam is running a line of salt at the bedroom door. Before Maeve can say anything, the window opens and Alec gestures for them to come out. "Come on! This way!"

Sam tosses him the duffle bag and goes through the window out onto the fire escape. He runs salt along the window sill, as Maeve yells to her brother. "You were supposed to watch the outside!" He rolls his eyes, "I did watch the outside!" The group of five make their way down the fire escape, Dean helps John down onto the street and Sam moves ahead of them. Sam is suddenly attacked by the man who was with Meg in Lincoln. "Sam!" Apollo calls out, pulling back his bow, and shooting his arrow into the man. The man yells, his body glowing as the demon comes shooting out of him in a dark smoke and disappears within the cracks of the world.

"Interesting."

Alec quickly moves to help Sam up, who gives the man a nod in thanks and moves to help Dean with his father. "Apollo." Alec freezes at her use of his name, turning to his sister, he tenses at the look on her face. "That's not John." The duo both look towards the brothers as they lead John towards the impala, their eyes glowing as they take in his true self. "Damnit." Alec hisses, grabbing his sister's hand and follows after them.

...

It's dark outside as the Impala is parked outside a cabin in the woods. Inside, Sam is pouring salt along the window sill, his head is pounding from hitting it on the concrete as Alec walks the perimeter. The Greek siblings silently agreeing that yellow eyes wasn't going to be getting out of this one. Dean comes into the room, a frown on his face as he takes in the sight of Maeve who is staring his father down from across the room. He didn't like the look on her face, it made him second guess things, he's come to believe in her more over time. "How is he?" Sam asks, Dean blinks turning to his brother. "He just needed a little rest, that's all. How is your head? Still nerdy?" Dean jokes, trying to lighten the mood. It doesn't work. "I'll survive." He turns to his brother, "Hey, you don't think we were followed here, do you?" Sam asks, thinking about Alec being outside alone. "I don't know. I don't think so. I mean, we couldn't have found a more out-of-the-way place to hole up. Besides, Alec is making his rounds." Sam sighs with a nod, "Yeah." Sam looks out the window towards Alec for a moment before he walks across the room.

"Hey, Sam?" Sam looks towards his brother, "You know what bathers me?" Sam waits for him to continue. "I was going to kill Meg, I beat the shit out of her and I didn't hesitate, I didn't even flinch. For you or Dad." He pauses, looking towards Maeve who is still staring at John. "For her, the things I'm willing to do or kill, it's just, uh ... it scares me sometimes." Sam just looks at him, not knowing what to say. Maeve suddenly stands, the brothers frowning as she becomes tense when John comes into the room. "So, what's the plan, boys. Where's the Colt?" John asks, cocking his head as the wind suddenly picks up and the lights start to flicker. They all go over to the window, Alec is nowhere to be seen.

"It found us. It's here."

"The demon?"

"Sam, lines of salt in front of every window, every door."

"I already did it."

"Well, check it, okay?"

"Okay." He breathes out with a frown, leaving the room. "Dean, you got the gun?" 'John' asks, turning towards Dean who was watching him with suspicion. "Yeah." Dean responds, he was lying though, Maeve had it. "Give it to me." Dean moves back slightly, a dark look coming over his face. "No." 'John' cocks his head, "What?" He asks with a frown. "Look, I've never disobeyed your word, I've always believed you and I almost chose you over her, but in the past year, I've learned to believe in her. Maeve hasn't relaxed since we saved you." Dean speaks up, moving to stand by her as 'John' scoffs. "Really?! That's why you're acting like this, Dean, she doesn't like me. Hasn't since we met, you're going to believe her over me?! Your own father?" John just looks at him as Dean raises the gun, Maeve having slipped it into his hand and points it at him.

He cocks the gun, "Yeah, I am. You're not my Dad."

Sam comes into the room and is shocked to see Dean pointing the gun at John. "Dean? What the hell's going on?" Sam asks, taking in the position of the couple and his 'father.' "Your brother's lost his mind." 'John' hisses, hoping he can get Sam on his side. "He's not Dad." Dean explains, "What? How do you know?" Sam asks his brother, Dean gives him a look. "Because I trust Maeve, and she's been onto him since the apartments." Sam's eyes widen as he turns to really look at Maeve. "Don't listen to him, Sammy. She's turned him against me, you have to believe me, son." Sam flinches at his words, making it all the more clear. A scoff escapes his lips and 'John' smirks, thinking Sam was on his side. His eyes widen, when Sam turns to face him, a hostile look on his face.

"You know, we don't have time for this. Sam, you wanna kill this demon, you've gotta trust me." Yellow eyes tries one more time, but it doesn't land. The boys believe Maeve and that pisses him off, he looks down, a dark chuckle echoing throughout the room. He looks back up and his eyes are yellow, "Man, you are good. Tell me, what are you?" Sam lunges, but is thrown against the wall, pinned there. So is Dean, and he drops the Colt, now it's Maeve and Yellow eyes. "See, Meg came to me terrified. She just couldn't explain what you were, so I figured I had to see for myself. I know you're something strong, but you're not at full power, are you?"John picks up the gun as he starts to circle Maeve. "What a pain in the ass this thing's been. Well, this and you." He puts the gun to her head, "No!" Dean shouts in horror. "It's you, isn't it? We've been looking for you for a long time." Sam suddenly shouts, trying to get his attention on something else.

"Well, you found me."

"But the holy water?"

"You think something like that works on something like me?" Sam tries to fight the force that has him pinned to the wall, but fails. "I'm gonna kill you!" Dena shouts, Yellow Eyes just smirks, turning back towards Maeve and pulling the trigger. "Maeve!" Sam and Dean shout, their hearts pounding as Maeve falls to the ground.

Yellow eyes pouts, "Well, this isn't fun. I was hoping she'd be more of a fight." He walks over to the window beside Dean, taking in the sight of the other male fighting more of his demons outside. He would be fun too, "I could've killed you a hundred times today, but this..." He takes in the sight of Dean crying, "This is worth the wait." Dean struggles, but is still pinned to the wall. "You son of a bitch! I'll kill you! I'll rip you apart with my bare hands!" 'John' chuckles, looking over at him. "Your Dad – he's in here with me. Trapped inside his own meat suit. He says "hi", by the way. He's gonna tear you apart. He's gonna taste the iron in your blood." Suddenly, 'John' is yanked backwards, the gun flying from his hands as the snake whip wraps around his neck. He struggles, looking up into the glowing snake like eyes of Maeve. "Impossible."

"No, I'm just better than you." She bits into her wrist, kneeling down onto his chest. He shouts as she shoves her wrist onto his mouth, this allows him to release the boys. "That's snake venom, you might be a demon, but the body you're holding onto isn't. It's going to shut down, and in about five minutes, you're gonna get a lot worse. So, you better get a good look at this face, because it'll be the last thing you ever see." He struggles more as Dean grabs the gun and Sam moves to stand over them. "What are you?!" He shouts up at her in anger, his eyes flashing yellow once more. "My name is Medousa and you're going to answer some questions." His eyes widen in horror as she yanks him up, Sam moving to stand in front of them.

"I wanna know why. Why'd you do it?" 'John' turns to Sam, "You mean why did I kill Mommy and pretty, little Jess?" The brothers flinch at his words, watching Maeve hand Dean the whip. "Yeah." Sam breaths out, 'John' turns back to Dean. "You know, I never told you this, but Sam was going to ask her to marry him." He tries to move toward Sam, but is yanked backwards by Dean. "Been shopping for rings and everything." He turns his attention to Sam. "You want to know why? Because they got in the way." Sam shudders in anger and sadness, "In the way of what?" He asks, "My plans for you, Sammy. You... and all the children like you." 'John' says, a smirk creeping onto his face. "Listen, you mind just getting this over with, huh? Cause I really can't stand the monologuing, Sam, start the exorcism." Sam nods, pulling out his book, pausing when 'John' starts to laugh. The lights begin to flicker as the wind picks up again, "Did you really think I'd fall for that?" Maeve's eyes widen as he turns to her, "You care to much to poison me, don't you?" He smirks, eye flashing and the door bursts open. A gust of wind blows inside as something flies in within it, a shadow, like the one before; flies straight for Maeve and slams her through the wall.

"Maeve!" In their distraction 'John' gets loose and gets to work.

He's soon standing over Dean who is beaten to hell, Sam had been thrown against the wall as Maeve shouts in the other room. "Tell me, how did you get a goddess on your side?" 'John' asks, cocking his head at Dean. "Fuck you." Dean snarls, Yellow eyes chuckles as the room goes silent, Maeve's screams cutting out. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of her." He steps back, leaning to take a look into the room, smirking, before looking back at Dean who begins to yell in pain. "Dean! No!" Dean starts to bleed heavily from his chest. Sam starts to struggle against the force pinning him. "Dad! Dad, don't you let it kill me!" John looks at him again and smiles, Dean starts screaming in pain. "Dean! No!" The blood is flowing out of Dean. Sam struggles as hard as he can to break free, but does so in vain.

Blood is running out of Dean's mouth, "Dad, please." Dean passes out. "Dean!" John suddenly staggers back, "Stop." He whispers to himself, Sam is suddenly let go. "Stop it." Sam dives and grabs the gun off the table. John turns to him, eyes yellow once again, and Sam aims the gun at him. "You kill me, you kill Daddy." Yellow eyes taunts with a smirk, knowing the boy wouldn't kill him. "I know." Sam fires the gun, shooting John in the leg. He falls down, the room goes silent for a second until Dean groans. Sam gets up and goes to his brother. "Dean? Dean, hey? Oh God, you've lost a lot of blood." Dean groans, slowly starting to sit up. "Where's Maeve?" He grunts out, "She's right there and Dad's over here, Dean." Dean grunts, slowly moving to stand. "Go check on him." He tells Sam, moving towards the room where Maeve was lying unconscious.

"Sweetheart?" He calls out, wincing in pain as he falls next to her, "Baby?" He gently moves her, a groan escaping her lips as she winces. He lets out a breath of relief, "Dean?" He helps her up to the best of his ability, placing his forehead against hers. "Where okay, you and me." He whispers out, the duo make their way into the other room. "Dad? Dad?" Sam starts to shake his father, trying to keep him awake. John's eyes shoot open and he looks up, "Sammy! It's still alive. It's inside me, I can feel it. You shoot me. You shoot me! You shoot me in the heart, son!" Sam aims the gun at John, tears in his eyes. "Do it now!" John shouts as Maeve winces, a look of annoyance crossing her face as she tries to stand up against the wall. Dean groans, sliding down next to her, having tired himself out. "Damnit, now I'm pissed." She hisses out, glaring at the demon still within John. "Sam, don't you do it. Don't you do it."

Dean insisted, glaring at his brother.

"You've gotta hurry! I can't hold onto it much longer! You shoot me, son! shoot me! Son, I'm begging you! We can end this here and now! Sammy!" Sam hesitates, Maeve just barely manages to stand tall and rushes towards them. "Just die already, you ugly bastard." Maeve snarls, her eyes glowing green, about to stone him, John be damned, but the demon manages to escape John in a black cloud from his mouth. It disappears through the floor. John looks at Sam accusingly, while Maeve goes to help Dean up off the floor. Alec groans from the door as he makes his way inside the cabin, he too is beaten to hell. That shadow being, what a bitch.

"What'd I miss?"

...

Thirty minutes later, In the Impala the group of five are crammed inside. Sam is driving with John by his side. Dean is in the back seat, between Alec and Maeve who are against the doors. John gasps in pain, Dean is slumped against Maeve with his eyes closed. Alec is leaned back, his own eyes closed as he tries to heal himself. Maeve is staring out the window, watching the scenery pass as blood drips down her face. She was highly annoyed and angry with herself for letting this all fall apart. "Look, just hold on, alright. The hospital's only ten minutes away." Sam breaths out, worried for everyone in the vehicle; especially being the only one that wasn't badly injured. "I'm surprised at you, Sammy. Why didn't you kill it? I thought we saw eye-to-eye on this? Killing this demon comes first – before me, before everything." Sam looks in the rear view mirror at Dean, Maeve and Alec.

"No, sir. Not before everything. Look, we've still got the Colt. We still have the one bullet left. We just have to start over, alright? I mean, we already found the demon..."

An eighteen wheeler suddenly slams into the passenger side of the Impala at full speed, driving it sideways in front of it. The driver of the semi is sitting behind the wheel, eyes are black. Alec, Dean, Sam, and John are all unconscious in the car – blood all over them. Maeve groans slightly as she slowly awakens, a wince falling past her lips. She barely manages to tumble out of the impala, before the world turns black once more. Not too far away, a vehicle pulls up and someone steps out. The person makes their way towards the fallen body of Maeve, a smirk crawling onto their face.

"Hello, beautiful."
