Scott, Lydia and I were in the library trying to figure this out. Last night was rough on sleep as I was nursing another Benny's cup of coffee.

" "Stile: an arrangement of steps that allows people but not animals, to climb over a fence."" Scott says as he reads the laptop.

" I don't think that is exactly what we are looking for." I say as Lydia sighs.

" It has to mean something if I started writing like a madwoman that was staring at a piece of tinted glass in a dark room." She replies as I lean back. I was wearing a white tank top with red accents and leather pants with my same combat boots. My necklace is heavy on my neck.

" Maybe Malia has found something." Scott says as Lydia shakes her head while looking up.

" No. She's taking a test today." She replied as I rubbed my head.

" This is getting us nowhere." I replied as I slammed my head on the desk. We then hear a howl. Malia?

" I guess the test isn't going well." Lydia says as we gather our stuff. We go down to the boiler room and find Malia growling in full coyote form.

" Malia, it's okay. You're safe." Scott says as Malia keeps growling at Scott.

" Cousin, it's ok. I promise." I say as she growls at me.

" I'm not gonna hurt you." Scott says as I can hear the low growl of trying to calm down.

" Maybe you should growl back? Either of you?" Noah asked as I saw Malia growl at him.

" Not a good idea." I replied as Malia kept growling.

" She's not the problem. We are. This is her territory. We need to get out of here." Lydia tells everyone.

" Yes. C'mon." Scott says as we leave the basement.

" Malia came here to get through the full moon. Then we got to the lake house." Lydia says as Natalie gets confused. I hear Malia shift back.

" It's alright. I'm okay." She says as I saw Natalie giving Malia her clothes back.

" Any idea what made her shift?" Noah asked us.

" Passing, studies could be anything." I say as Lydia perks up.

" Her mom is trying to kill her." She replied as I nodded.

" That shouldn't make her shift. Could it be connected to Stiles?" Scott asked as I saw Noah's face perk.

" What do you know?" I asked as Noah nodded.

" It's a "he"." Noah replies as I was confused by this.

" Who?" Scott asked as Noah spoke up.

" Stiles. It's a family nickname. I never used it, but... my father did. I can explain more later." He says before we all head back to class. After school, we went to see Noah. I knew the layout of the house, how did I know this?

" Thanks, honey." Noah says as his wife grabs a box.

" He was an army engineer." Noah explained as he took photos for us to see.

" He ended the war, one bridge at a time." He kept going as Scott perked up.

" He went by "Stiles?"" Scott asked as Noah nodded. I looked over at Lydia before turning to Noah.

" So what's the discussion with the Wild Hunt?" Noah asked as I spoke up.

" We think that someone we knew was taken by the Ghost Riders. We all have these feelings and memories piled up that don't make sense." I say as the ache in my chest flares again. I see Noah's wife looking shaken as I grab my chest. Why would she have that face all of a sudden?

" Any idea who?" Noah asked as Scott sighed.

" The Ghost Riders would have erased our memories." Scott explains as Noah groans.

" Well. That's convenient." He says as Lydia perks up.

" We found a clue. The word "stiles"." Lydia says as Noah's wife spoke up.

" And that's why you wanna talk to Elias?" She asked as I nodded.

" Maybe he could help us figure it out. Maybe he knows who we're looking for." Scott replied as Noah looked struck by our thoughts.

" Is someone of your age?" Noah asked as Scott nodded.

" Yeah, I... I think he was my friend. Maybe he was my best friend." Scott says toying with his thumbs.

" I guarantee my father can't help you." Noah says as Scott gives the photo he was looking at back to the Sheriff.

" Can we try?" Scott asked, almost pleading.

" Scott, he lives in a nursing house three towns over. He hasn't received visits for years." Noah tells him. I see Lydia dazing again, another Premonition?

" Can I go to the bathroom?" Lydia asked as I got up.

" I need to go as well." I say as Claudia looks more shaken, but eases.

" Sure." She says with this creepy smile. I follow Lydia up the stairs.

" Are you ok?" Lydia asked as I held my chest. The ache almost slightly throbbing.

" Yeah, I know the layout of this house. Almost as if I've been here." I tell her as she dazes after I spoke.

" Why are you here?" Lydia asked as she stared forward.

" Is there something you wanted to tell me?" She asked again to no one I could see.

" What stop has been canceled?" Lydia asked once again. I felt as if there was supposed to be a room here.

" Lydia? Raven? Did you find it? The last door on the left." Claudia's voice broke Lydia out of her dazed.

" Found it." She called back. I went into the bathroom and pretended to use it before coming out as Lydia popped in and did the same.

" Sheriff please!" Scott asked as we headed down.

" Scott no!" Noah yelled.

" The answer is no." Claudia said with a serious face. Scott, Lydia and I then headed out. After getting back from the loft, I slept terribly again and woke up. I got dressed in a blue tank top with blue jeans and my boots. I headed off to school and went to my classes.

" We are apparently breaking into a nursing home." Lydia says as the end of the day came to our head.

" Oh fantastic." I groaned as I shut my locker.

" This should be fun." I say as we were in front of the nursing home.

" I can't believe we're about to do this." Scott said as Malia headed forward.

" After the orderlies of Eichen House, I'm pretty sure we can handle some nurses." Malia says as she heads in and busts a nurse's nose before hiding him in a closet. We find Elias' room, we slowly walk into the room as old music is playing.

" Yes? Is it time for my medicine?" He asked, a little disoriented.

" We don't have your medicine." Malia says annoyed as Elias sighs.

" Are you Elias Stilinski?" Lydia asked as he said he was.

" Do you know who I am? Raven Hale?" I asked as he shrugged.

" Should I?" He asked, my heart slightly hurt as the ache did as well. I sat down in a chair to catch my breath.

" Hi. Mr. Stilinski, we're looking for someone who might be named Stiles. And you went by the name in the army, right?" Scott asked as Lydia checked on me.

" Yes. Those were the best years of my life." Elias says with a small grin.

" Do you know any of us?" Malia asked impatiently.

" Of course I do. How could I forget my own son." Elias said with praise. I see the frown on Scott's face.

" Your son?" Scott asked confusedly and looked at both Lydia and I.

" Mr. Stilinski. What year is it?" Lydia asked as she had a hand on my shoulder.

" 1976. My son's birthday is next week." Elias says as he looks to drift off.

" He has dementia." Lydia says as Elias asks for his medicine again.

" Scott McCall?" Elias asked as I saw that the sun was going down.

" No, no, no. You're my son." Elias says determined to be right. I felt so bad for him.

" Keep it down, old guy. You'll wake up the other old people." Malia says annoyed before eating some peas off of his plate.

" I don't like her." Elias says before Lydia sits down next to him.

" Your son... is the sheriff of Beacon Hills." Lydia says nice and calm to him.

" Sheriff? No, no, no. I was in the army." He replied to her. I see the annoyance on Malia's face.

" Use your claws, Scott. Raven, either of you?" Malia asked and demanded of us.

" Not when he's this old. It will kill him." I told her.

" We are running out of time, we have to do this!" She exclaimed before flexing her claws. I get up and grab her wrist.

" Malia, no." I told her as her anger was coming off in fumes.

" Young lady, you need to clip those nails." Elias says as Malia looked at me, I gave her a warning look before she calmed down. I let her go. I can sense that Elias was getting more irritated by the moment.

" You shouldn't be here. If you don't leave, I have to report you." Elias said as he looked wary of us.

" Uh... What's wrong with him?" Scott asked as Lydia spoke up.

" The sun went down." Lydia remarks as I see Elias getting more angry and irritated.

" He's sundowning. It's when patients with dementia lose their faculties after the sun goes down." She explained as Elias spoke out.

" I don't wanna talk to you anymore!" He yelled as he threw newspapers.

" So what do we do?" Malia asked worriedly.

" Wait until the sun comes back up." Lydia said with a deadpan expression.

" We can't wait that long." Malia insisted.

" There's gotta be something we can do to keep him quiet." Scott begged any of us to help.

" Leave. Leave. Leave. Leave!" Elias pleaded with us.

" Math!" I say as Lydia perks up.

" You're right!" Lydia replies as she pulls out a sheet of equations.

" No. Elias looks at the equations. Look." Lydia says as she points at it. Lydia gets his attention.

" It's a binomial of probability. What's "P"?" Lydia tells him as Elias looks at the paper.

" Probability of success?" He asks as Lydia helps him more and more.

" What's with math?" Malia asked as I perked up.

" It helps their concentration." I tell her as Lydia keeps helping Elias.

" Elias." I say as he perks up as if having clarity.

" That's Mr. Stilinski. Just who the hell do you think you are?" He asked clear headed.

" You know Scott isn't your son?" Lydia asked him. I see this disgruntled look on his face.

" Of course I know that. The brains are getting smaller with the skirts." He says as I see Malia growling under her breath.

" Malia. It's okay." Scott tells her before Elias looks at Scott.

" So you're that McCall kid." Elias says as Scott looks surprised.

" I know your dad. He couldn't hold his liquor, and certainly couldn't keep that wedding ring on his finger. A beautiful lady walking by and poof, that ring just disappeared like magic." Elias said, being oblivious as Scott looked surprised.

" And you know all of us?" Lydia asked as Elias smiled.

" You look like Talia's kid." He says as I am surprised. He knew my mother or of her?

" That Hale Family had all the money they could ever want and what do they do? Use it to keep themselves in that preserve like a hermit family. Never coming out." He said bluntly. Oh this man's got ball on him for fuck sake.

" Hey. You're Natalie Martin's daughter. Am I right? You look like her. She was pretty once too." Elias said being blunt as ever. Malia's eyes go blue, oh no!

" Stop talking." Malia growled under her breath.

" Malia ease." I told her.

" She also liked to talk like she was the smartest person in her room." Elias says as Malia went half shift and almost attacked Elias.

" Enough!" Noah's voice booms in the room. Him, his wife and the male nurse all came inside.

" Sheriff, we..." Scott tries to explain but the Sheriff's face says it all.

" I explicitly told you not to come here. And who attacked a staff member?" Noah says sternly before the nurse pointed out Malia.

" What were you thinking?" Noah asked as Elias went around the table.

" Noah, we were just having a nice conversation." Elias says as Noah ignores him and looks at us.

" The four of you, out. Now." He tells us. Malia, Scott and Lydia head out as I am slowly following.

" That's right! Act like I'm not even here. Go crawling back to your dead wife and your loser son!" Elias yells. I stopped and turned as those words hit me. Dead wife and loser son. The ache in my chest grew to the point I almost fell to my knees.

" What did you say?" Noah asked as I saw Elias go back to his normal mental state. I leave the room after composing myself. I was still holding my chest.

" Raven?" Noah's voice hit me like a truck as I held my chest. The ache growing deeper and more hollow.

" Raven? Are you ok?" He asked as I gripped the wall, he held me up as I felt like I was trying to catch my breath.

" I don't know." I say as I felt my eyes glowing and my internal wolf howling in agony. The ache slowly relaxed as he helped me out of there.

" When he said loser son, it hit me like a truck. It felt like my heart had this deep ache and hollow feeling." I explained as he stood in front of me.

" I don't know." He replied before we headed out.

" Sheriff station now." He told all of us. We all headed back to town and found ourselves in his office.

" We know this looks bad." Scott says as Natalie spoke up.

" It doesn't look bad, Scott. It is bad." She says with a disappointed look in her eyes.

" You've broken into a nursing home, you harassed a dementia patient and beat up a nurse. This could affect the rest of your lives! Especially you, Malia. They're talking about felony assault!" Natalie says as Malia spoke up.

" I didn't beat him up. I could have, but I chose not to." Malia says as I chuckled.

" Wrong place, wrong time cousin." I say with a small chuckle deep under my breath.

" By some miracle, the nurse decided to drop the charges. They're free to go." Noah says as he lets us go. I head home and sit on the couch, this sad feeling echoed through my body

" Why did what he say affect me so fucking much?" I asked as tears rolled down my face. I wanted this hallowed feeling to leave my chest. I wanted to feel like I could breathe again. Until I find out what it is, I don't think I'll sleep well for a while.
