Summary
The Magic Saga: Sukko The Hedgehog. He was as different as they came. Irritating, condescending, convoluted, controversial, and very eccentric. Gothic and gory. The exact opposite of his identical twin, the Blue Blur, but against Eggman, essential, playing his part to perfection. Here are some of the stories, the mighty Sorcerer got up to, during the war, and as a perfect reflection of Sonic, Sukko proves that, he's a hero, just like his twin.

Chapter One – The Powerful Doctor
Sukko the Hedgehog was the lesser known identical twin brother of the more famous Sonic The Hedgehog, the Blue Blur, and he spent all of his time, working as a Doctor in a hospital. Sukko was the Senior Emergency Medical Physician at Robotropolis County General Hospital, working in the Emergency Room, the E.R and a extremely good one at that, and he loved his job. The Blue Blur was known as 'Sonic', but his real name was 'Sonikku' and family wise, he wasn't alone. His mother had gotten pregnant twice, and though most thought he'd been abandoned, in reality, he'd been forced to flee for his life. He was the age of just two years old, with his identical twin, and his newborn baby brother, both of whom still survive to this day.
For years, the Human had desperately tried to murder the three of them. He was well aware of their existence. He knew the family. His father was Jules Hedgehog. The world-famous Air Speed Racer. A Golden Blonde Hedgehog with both Super-Speed and Super-Flight. He'd become famous for flying around the world, showing off, and fighting Julian Robotnik. (Eggman's father). He was also very arrogant, selfish and rude. He may have been very famous but he wasn't well liked. His wife, Bernadette, was a deep purple Hedgehog who powers of Healing made her an incredible nurse at the hospital. Kind, gentle and selfless. Many thought she was far too good for Jules. But she had a secret, which even her husband may not have known. She had Chaos Sorcery, Magic, but was exceptional good at hiding it. She used her Magic to heal and nothing more. Chaos Sorcery is an illegal power due to its dire corruption issues, and if the Mobian Authorities had ever caught her, she would have been killed.
Both sneaky and clever, she fooled everyone, and managed to grab the most famous Hedgehog on Mobius for a husband. Jules may have been arrogant but he was good to Bernadette. She wouldn't have had it any other way. Soon, she was pregnant. Everything went normally, the scan showing one healthy baby. But during the birth, the baby Blue Hedgehog was born, exactly as expected, but his umbilical cord split halfway along it's length, and two cords went back inside Bernadette. Panicked, the Doctors quickly realised that there was a second baby. Identical twins, extremely rare, no one knew the second baby was even there, and race was on to save the child. Three minutes later, a second baby Blue Hedgehog was born, but was absolutely tiny. Just a quarter the size of his brother, he weighed less then four hundred grams, and the Doctors feared for his survival. But against all the odds, he made it.
The first baby was named Sukko, meaning Saviour, and the second, Sonikku, meaning Miracle. Sonikku broke the world record for the smallest Mobian to ever be born and survive. A record he still holds to this day. Somehow, and the brothers have no idea how, their father Jules managed to keep the his family, the twins and his wife completely hidden from Julian for two whole years. Unfortunately, getting her pregnant again was not part of the plan, and the pregnancy put the family at risk as she needed to see a Doctor. Unfortunately, through the medical staff, Julian tracked them down, and as Manikkos, meaning Defender (or Manic for short) was born at home. A baby Green Hedgehog, thankfully, perfectly healthy.
But when the twins were conceived, the Powers-That-Be decided that one embryo, and therefore one baby, wasn't strong enough to carry both sets of Chaos Powers from their parents. So the embryo divided, saving itself, and thus so did the powers. Sukko got his mother's Chaos Sorcery, and Sonic, his father's Super-Speed. Also the ability to harness Chaos Energy directly, Chaos Wield. Sukko couldn't do it, but he did get his father's power of Chaos Flight. Neither twin had their father's arrogance or selfishness. They were their mother's sons, and very proud of it. Manic too, though he looked a bit more like their father, being Green, but despite being a master thief, he still had his mother's big heart.
Sukko was three minutes older then Sonic, and the eldest of the brothers. He was a powerful Sorcerer, highly proficient in Chaos Sorcery. Personality wise, Sonic and Sukko
are very different and are completely and utterly the opposite of each other. Sukko has Magic, a mental Chaos Power. But Sonic has a physical Chaos Power, with the Super-Speed. Sukko was cool, calm, quiet and reserved, Sonic is fast, active and very hyper. Even their food choices reflected this. For Sonic, anything hot and spicy, including Chilli-dogs, a massive meat eater, with loads of coffee but for Sukko, it's cold and cool. He's a massive fan of guacamole and avocados in general, especially in mayo wraps, a strict vegetarian, with tea, of course. But their opposite natures doesn't rule everything the twins do. There are some crossovers. Neither Hedgehog is evil, and both desperately want to help the people of Mobius. It is just that each of them found their own individual way of doing this. Sonic became the Hero of Mobius, a soldier, and Sukko, a Doctor. They are identical mirror image twins.
But Manic's birth and the origins of his powers was entirely coincidental. Manic was Chi, not Chaos. The knowledge of Chi wasn't widely known until a Chaos family, had one born into it, just like Sonic's family did. Manic was so completely different to everyone. Thankfully, the twins, his brothers were very understanding, but Manic sighed. He suspected, others like him might not have been so fortunate. Potentially murdered out of fear.
But Robotropolis, where they all lived, was a rough city, (no near as bad as Capital City), but crime there was horrendous. At least that was all they had to deal with. Thanks to Manic, Eggman wasn't a problem. Every time the Human attacked the walled city, the Earth Bender, would just outright destroyed him. In the end, Eggman gave up, and went after the rest of Mobius instead. To the Sorcerer, that seemed somewhat selfish but in Robotropolis, they had to look after their own, they wouldn't survive otherwise. Regardless, Sukko, as a Doctor, saw some horrendous things, come through the hospital, but the worst was by far, the mass shootings.
Granted, they didn't happen very often, but when they did, Sukko hated them with a passion. He, like Sonic, hated guns. However, in the correct, highly-trained hands, they did have their uses. It was when they fell into the wrong hands, was then the problems started. A guy, unstable in the head, unable to have children of his own, either biologically, or otherwise, decided that because he couldn't have children, that no one else could, and took a sub-machine gun, and attacked an infant school, shooting dozens of people.
The local E.R. was flooded with the dead and dying, nearly all of then children. Sukko roared. There was something fundamentally wrong about pulling bullets out of three years olds. Their parents desperately waiting outside, worried for news for their little ones. However, the shooter hadn't been caught, and had slipped police. Sukko screamed in sheer desperation, and did something he didn't normally do. Reveal himself to the enemy.
But Shadow The Hedgehog wasn't exactly the enemy, but he had been on the Sorcerer's tail for years. Chasing him on behalf of G.U.N., who'd obviously been lying to him and now, Sukko was needing the Ultimate Lifeform's help. To use his skills as a professional killer and track down and take out the shooter. Normally, Sukko didn't approve of killing, but needs must as he desperately tried to save lives. Shadow was constantly spending time on the Ark, and for the Sorcerer's mighty telepathy, even all the way out in space, the Ultimate Lifeform's signature was easy to find. It's bright red bright colour from his Black Arms D.N.A., very much giving him away.
Still working at speed, saving as many lives as he could, Sukko expertly separated his mind, from the intense stresses that surrounded him, and called out to the mighty Black Hedgehog.
{Shadow The Hedgehog?}
The voice ran across the Ultimate Lifeform's mind, crystal clear and beautiful. But it caused the Black Hedgehog to jump a mile. Growling hard, his temper flaring, he charged from his seat at the Ark's computer console, and hissed at the intruder. He glared.
"What do you want?" He spat. But the voice in his head, remained surprisingly calm, under the harsh circumstances. Sukko heaved.
{Stripes, please, I mean you no harm. But I really need your help.} He begged. But Shadow smirked, not believing anything right now, though he recognised the nickname, the intruder used for him. But regardless, he growled hard.
"Who are you?" He hissed, to the mysterious voice. But Sukko sighed, getting somewhat impatient, but he had to stay calm, knowing his name alone, would change everything.
{Sukko!} He smiled, simply. Shadow gasped, staring into the distance.
"The Sorcerer?" He gulped, but Sukko just giggled.
{The one and only.} He grinned, but Shadow raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. The voice was now sounding very much like someone else he knew very well. But Sukko heaved. {Alright, my apologies. That sounded incredibly corny. That was my heritage, from Sonikku, coming through there.} He growled. {I know why you were sent to kill me. I have Magic, plain and simple. As you know, it's illegal, and you were just following orders. I don't blame you for anything.} He admitted. But Shadow just frowned.
"But who are you?" He repeated. "You look exactly like to the that infuriating Blue Blur." He spat. But Sukko just giggled.
{Fair assessment, but I hope you don't find me as annoying as Sonikku.} He giggled. {We're brothers. Identical twins.} He added, dropping the bombshell. Twins? Shadow went white, and he just stood there, in stunned horror. But the Sorcerer just heaved. {But Sonikku never lied to you. He doesn't have any Magic, it's just me. He can't cast, and as for myself, I'm not out to destroy the world. I never was. I was born with the powers, I didn't choose them, just like you didn't choose to be created. I was just defending myself, the best I could. Now, I'm just trying to save as many lives as I can, in this small corner of the world, I call home. I'm actually a Doctor.} He explained. Shadow just blinked, in silence, as Sukko giggled. {Oh, you don't believe me.} He grinned. {Well, see for yourself.} He added.
Suddenly, Shadow felt intense burning around his eyes, as then glowed an intense blue. The world was plunged into darkness, and when he opened his eyes, as he gasped, as he was no longer on the Ark. He was in the Emergency Room of a hospital, which was in utter chaos. There were medical trolleys everywhere, the intense cries of children, constant noise of talking all around him, and blood covering every surface. Shadow blinked, as he looked down at the hands, of the person whose eyes, he was now looking through. They were performing C.P.R. on a badly injured child, not much older then four, who was covered in blood. The young boy was desperately close to flatlining, but not today, and Shadow just watched with both astonishment and downright fascination, as the Sorcerer saved the boy's life, sneakingly using Magic to do so.
As the boy was moved on, Sukko took a breather, looking up into a mirror, and giving the stunning but drained Blue Hedgehog, with big green eyes, with a subtle glowing blue tint, a wave. He was in a white coat, with a stethoscope around his neck, an I.D. badge, brown boots, and silver bracelets. The Sorcerer just smirked at Shadow.
{Now can you see me. Welcome to my life.} He panted, obviously exhausted. Suddenly, he was summoned to another dying child, to repeat the process, all over again. Shadow just stared at the horror, and at the ruthless professionalism that the Sorcerer showed in saving those kids. But the Ultimate Lifeform gulped and hard. The entire situation clearing spelled to him, a mass shooting, and even though he himself was a professional killer, he never went after children, believing that they could never wrong him. They literally physically couldn't. It was an unfair fight. Suddenly, his temper flared again, but this time for a completely different reason.
"Who did this?" He spat, still standing on the Ark. But panting hard, Sukko now beginning to tire, as he struggled maintain the connection while working in the emergency room. Suddenly, the line faltered, as the Sorcerer stumbled, gasping hard.
{That's why I need your help. The shooter hit a infants school, but he hasn't been caught. Sonikku told me of your, er, skills, as an assassin.} He gulped, as there was a long pause, as Shadow suddenly felt tears, that weren't his own. Sukko heaved, as he realised this. {Sorry.} He stammered. {But I'm a Doctor and Sonikku's a Hero. We both hate killing, with a passion. I still can't believe I'm going to ask this, but Stripes, please, take out that shooter, before he goes after another school, and more kids die.} He begged, and suddenly, the Sorcerer's strength gave way and the line completely collapsed, and Shadow found himself standing in the darkness of the Ark again.
Alone.
He gasped and hard, but the images of the horrors of that emergency room, just rattled around his head. He dived for his space colony's computer console. He went straight to the General Medical Council's public records, where all working Doctors must be board-registered in order to practice. Simply typing in 'Sukko' was enough to find the Sorcerer's profile. His name was that unusual. Shadow gasped as all of his qualifications, commendations, and medical achievements. He'd save thousands of lives working in the Emergency Room, as well as his pending assessment, and possible worldwide cure for Mobian N.I.D.S., Shadow was just left utterly stunned.
Never had he wronged someone so badly. The Sorcerer was actually a hero, in his own right. Sorcerer or otherwise. Shadow felt so incredibly guilty, that he was desperate to make a mends. When they had fought in the past, Sukko had never initiated the attack, it was always Shadow. Even though Sukko could fight, and was exceptionally good at it, the Ultimate Lifeform got the impression the Sorcerer never wanted to. That he was just defending himself, protecting his family. Sukko being a Doctor, now making perfect sense. He was as much of a saviour as his irritating brother, potentially more so, and yet, took none of the credit. He just quietly did it, and then moved on, no fuss, no circus. But as Shadow read through the profile, he quickly found the hospital where the Sorcerer was working at.
Robotropolis.
He blinked. That dump. Truthfully, he'd never visited. It's reputation alone, had kept him away, sticking to Capital City. But as Shadow located the city, and looked with the Ark's cameras, it looked different to what he expected, and shrugging hard, he grabbed his revolvers, and a Chaos Emerald, and vanished, right to the heart of the city.
It was in utter pandemonium, when he landed, with most of the chaos centring around the hospital. In the distance, he saw a Blue Hedgehog, in a long white coat, working flat out, through the window. Shadow was gobsmacked, at seeing Sukko for the first time, but seeing Sonic on his twin brother, curiosity got the better of him. Seeing the devastation for himself, he immediately agreed.
No one attacks or shoots a child. He never had in his entire career, and ran after the shooter, joining the police in the search. But they challenged him, knowing exactly who he was, somewhat frightened of him. But being an influential Doctor in the city, Shadow suspected the Sorcerer was known here. He growled, taking his chances.
"Dr. Sukko sent for me." He hissed, speaking the truth, giving the Sorcerer, the prefix, he, very much, deserved. "Do you want the shooter dead, or not?" He blasted, getting straight to the point. Suddenly, all of the police officers looked at each other. Hearing the Sorcerer's name, immediately put them all, at ease. Shadow smirked. Yes, he was definitely known here. In fact, it was very quickly trusted, much to Shadow's surprise. But they all knew how desperate the situation was, and very quickly, they agreed, needing all the help they could get. Suddenly, they rounded on him, filling him in, with everything they knew, and soon they were on the shooter's trail.
Sukko was running off his feet, trying to save as many kids as he could, but was desperately struggling. But Frank, his boss, approached him, saying that significant Magic was the only way to save all the kids, and that simple healing wasn't going to work. Sukko reluctantly agreed, as Frank promised to cover for him. Sukko, as the Sorcerer used his incredible power, he saved those kids. Finally, after many hours of intense searching, Shadow caught the gunman just as he was approaching another infants school, with the intension of doing the same thing again. This exploded Shadow's temper and he just ran in, and slaughtered the guy, grabbing him from behind, a dangerously breaking his neck on the process, exactly where he stood, not even a single bullet fired. An instant kill.
Shadow didn't need his guns to commit murder, he just liked having them on his person. Now very frightened, the police thanked him, but Shadow gave them his word that he was of no threat to the people of Robotropolis, unless his skills were specifically needed, such as today. Weirdly, he was believed, as all the fear vanished, and he was welcomed into the ranks. But Shadow frowned as he returned back to the hospital, just as Sukko uses his incredible Magic to save everyone, revealing himself as, the mighty Sorcerer, the fugitive Shadow had been seeking.
He gasped, just as Manic showed up, as he finally realised that he was in the presence of Sonic's very own family. That there were three of them. He growled, realising that G.U.N. really had lied to him, the Ultimate Lifeform vowed to keep everything to himself. But despite saving everyone, there were unfortunately, some losses. Sukko couldn't save the D.O.A.'s (Dead On Arrivals), unless he wanted to raise them from the grave. Now exhausted, unfortunately Sukko was left traumatised, and was allowed to leave work early and was carried home by Manic.
Frank thanked Shadow, and Robotropolis, just moved on, surprisingly fast. Shadow gulped, now stood alone in the city. Sonic's family was here, and it was an incredible safe haven, away from Eggman, not the dump everyone believe it to be.
