Marinette concentrated hard on her sketching, when she heard a thump coming from her balcony. Cat opened the skylight and dropped down on her bed. "Hey, Kitty," she greeted him, looking up. "How was-" her voice trailed off when she saw that Cat wore a very grumpy face.

"Bad day?" she asked. Cat shrugged. "Wanna snuggle and feel better?" "Claws In."

It was hard to sketch while Adrien cuddled with her, but she was up to the challenge. Adrien sighed, his head against her stomach. It was safe and warm here in her arms. As long as he had her his day couldn't be completely horrible, right?

Marinette set her things aside, and started weaving her fingers through his buttercup hair. Oh. Oh, that felt good. He clung tighter, beginning to feel the effects of his sleepless night. Marinette calmly continued what she was doing, for she knew one his love languages was physical touch.

He lifted his head, looking up at her. All this time his Lady had been behind the mask and he had loved her since day one. How many times had they fallen for each other, without realizing it?

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Marinette asked. "Because M'lady," Adrien whispered. "You'll always be my Bugaboo."

Bugaboo. For years, he ceased to call her that and now the once hated now turned love nickname was back. Marinette felt her cheeks grow pink. "Aw, Kitten." she leaned forward, pressing a kiss into his hair, making her boyfriend's cheeks turn pink as well.

"You'll always be my Buttercup, Adrien." Buttercup, the secret code name that Cat found out first. Sighing, he hid his head, letting his Princess love him.

Grumpy no more, Adrien smiled softly. It was hard to stay in a funk when Marinette loved him as much as she did, safe in her arms.
