A/N: What's up dudes and dudettes? Welcome to the first MHA story that I'll do. So, this is just going to be my version of Izuku getting OFA a little earlier, and actually training before he met All Might. Oh, and BTW, Izuku's dad will be in this chapter and will be a major catalyst for the personality of this version of my Izuku, and also that UA is a University/College in this. So, let's get started. Enjoy.

Chapter 01: Prologue

You all already know the story. In the year 2025, in Qing Qing, China, the first quirk baby appeared, and soon more of them started to pop up all over the world. What most of the new generations are not taught is that over the years there were many conflicts between people with quirks, or meta-abilities as they were called back in the day. That is why the Military and police departments of the world created units specialized in the fight against quirk users, often assisting heroes in major operations against villains and terrorists.

A seventeen-year-old young man with green-black hair and green eyes ran through the park, wearing black cargo shorts, a gray hoodie, red running shoes, and black fingerless gloves. With the moon still in the sky, the cold wind of late spring's early morning did not bother the young man as he arrived at the park's outdoor gym. He grabbed the pull-up bar and started doing pull-ups, and after fifty, he started doing muscle-ups. After a hundred, he fell into a push-up stance and started doing them. After two hundred, he did handstand push-ups, after a hundred and fifty, he started sit-ups, which he did for the next ten minutes, before getting up and running back to his home.

This young man was Izuku Midoriya a seventeen year old Quirkless kid who if it wasn't for his father twelve years ago would probably never be what he is today.

~Flash back:Twelve years ago Midoriya house.~

Izuku, with a blank look in his once joyous eyes, stared at the screen of his computer. All Might's debut video was playing on repeat, as it had for the past three hours. His mother had come an hour and a half ago to try and cheer him up, but his mood still hadn't improved. Now, both she and his father, Hisashi Midoriya, came to see what was bothering him. His father knelt in front of him and asked, "Izuku, what's wrong?" Izuku just looked at his father and asked in a broken voice, pointing at his computer screen, "D-dad, do you think I can be a Hero like him?"

His father spoke, "Izuku, I won't lie to you. In this modern age, people without quirks often face greater challenges. But I believe that people without powers often have the biggest hearts of all, and the greatest desire and motivation." Izuku listened intently. "The road will be difficult for you, but if you are ready to fight for your place in the hero world, I'll help you the best I can." Izuku's eyes widened, and his father continued, "Do I think you can be a hero? I don't think, I know you can. But will it be easy? No, it won't. But I'll teach you everything I know so you can survive. So yes, Izuku, my son, you can be a Hero." His father told him with a smile, and that made Izuku cry tears of joy and jump into his father's arms, screaming, "Thank you, Dad!" Hisashi hugged his son, and Inko smiled at the display.

His father frowned, appearing to be deep in thought. After a few silent moments, as his mother was about to speak, his father asked Izuku, "Izuku, how much do you wish to be a hero?" Izuku answered, "It's my dream, Dad. If I don't become a hero, I don't know what I would do." His father nodded and asked once more, "Even though you don't have a quirk?" Izuku confirmed again, and his father asked, "Would you be ready to train until you physically couldn't continue, and even then, find the strength to rise again?" Izuku was a bit reluctant, but nodded in the end, confirming his resolve. His father nodded back and smiled.

~Flash back end.~

As Izuku climbed up the stairs to his apartment, he remembered how his father taught him discipline, how to fight, how to use different weapons, and how to sneak around, as well as free running and parkour when he turned seven.

If you asked Izuku's three-year-old self who his favorite hero was, he would have undoubtedly said All Might. But if you were to ask him now, he would say, in a heartbeat, his father. Even if not a pro-hero, his father's job wasn't any less dangerous.

Which is what happened seven years ago confirmed.

~Flashback: Seven years ago Musutafu cemetery~

Five days ago, Izuku's father, as the leader of the JSDF's SFG, or more specifically, SAQTD squad 1: Wolves, went on a mission with his squad and a group of pro heroes. Two days later, his body, alongside the bodies of five of his squadmates, was found under the rubble of the villain compound they stormed.

Now, three days later, Izuku and his crying mother, along with some extended family and friends, are at the cemetery burying his father as the rain falls without stopping. Izuku was grateful for that, because the raindrops hid his tears as he remembered some of the lessons his father taught him, not only for him to be a hero, but also for him to be a man and to live an honest life.

'Never strike at the weaker, protect them, but also do not bow to the stronger, stand before them and fight with your whole being against them both physically and mentally.'

'If they insult you, pay no attention to them, let fools waste their breath on nonsense.'

'Be kind to strangers because you never know if that stranger will ever save your life.'

'If they are behind you, protect them; if they are next to you, respect them; if they are against you, destroy them.'

He knew that his father would never forgive him if, because of sadness for him, he stopped trying to fulfill his dream, so he decided to work even harder and harder to succeed.

~Flash back end~

As Izuku entered his home, he saw his mother about to go to work. She smiled at him and told him, "Well, good morning, Izuku. You're earlier than usual." She said, kissing his cheek. Smiling back at her and saying, "Good morning, Mom. Yeah, well, I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go for my run early." Nodding at him, she said, "Well, okay then. Your breakfast is on the table." She said as she put her coat on. "See you in the afternoon, Izuku." She said as she was about to exit the apartment. "Okay, see ya, Mom," Izuku said as he went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After showering, he put on his school uniform, ate some food, and then went to school.

~Aldera High~

"So," his homeroom teacher began, "as third-year students, it's time for you to start thinking seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives." "I could pass out some career aptitude tests, but why bother?" the man said with a smirk as all but two of the students started to use their quirks. "I know all of you are going for the Hero track," he said as he threw the papers in the air, and again, all but two students cheered. "Yes, yes, all of you have impressive quirks, but remember, no quirk usage in school," the teacher said as the students started to settle down.

Then they all heard a feminine yet gruff voice speak, "Hey, teach, don't lump me in with this bunch of losers. I'm the real deal here, but these guys will be lucky to end up as sidekicks for some busted D-lister." A seventeen-year-old girl with spiky ash-blonde hair and red piercing eyes spoke with a predatory smirk on her face. That angered the rest of the students, except Izuku, who just sat there. The angered ones screamed at the girl, "Do you think you're better than us, Katsumi?" The now named Katsumi just grinned savagely and spoke, "Bring it on! I can take all of you extras!" Their homeroom teacher then spoke, "Your grades are very good, Katsumi. You might yet manage to enter UA college." That made the other students calm down and start to talk among themselves.

"She's trying for the national school," one student said. "Isn't that place like super hard to get into?" another one said. "Yeah, it has a 20% success and an 80% failure rate," a third one said. The students continued talking, and Katsumi jumped on her desk and gave a speech about how she was going to be the best.

Then the homeroom teacher spoke up, "Oh yeah, Midoriya, you want to go to UA as well, right?" He spoke, sounding almost bored or borderline uninterested. Everyone got silent at that and looked at him, who just looked bored. Then the students started to laugh at him. "You want to go to UA?" a boy said. "No self-respecting hero school would accept a quirkless failure," another one spoke. A few more threw some more insults and mocking words at him.

"You done with your fun?" Izuku asked in a bored and sarcastic tone, with an eyebrow raised. After nobody said anything, he said, then, "Good, now tell me," he started in an almost disturbingly happy voice, "who the fuck are you to tell me what I can do or not, or mock me for trying to do something that you don't have enough balls to do yourselves?" This made everyone look shocked at Izuku's answer, well, everyone except Katsumi, who just looked at him, but the way she did look at him, most would think that she was glaring at him.

But there was something else in her eyes.

~Later after classe~

As Izuku was walking down the halls, he was suddenly pulled into a closet and pinned to a wall. Before he could say anything, he saw who had dragged him in there and spoke, "You know, you could have just asked me to come here and not drag me in like a ragdoll." Katsumi grinned at him and said, "And where would the fun be in that, nerd?" She said as she lifted her leg to his thigh and kissed his neck. Grabbing her by the hips, he smirked and leaned in to her, speaking with a smirk, "Well, I guess not," he said as he kissed her with his tongue.

Well, now you all might be asking, what the hell is this, when, how, where? Well, one day, when they were twelve, they had a confrontation in which they kicked the shit out of each other. Izuku won and pinned her hands to the ground of the forest they were in. After a few moments of heavy breathing and looking into each other's eyes, they both leaned in quickly and aggressively made out. And ever since then, they've dated, but it's a 'secret'; only their parents know.

After breaking the kiss, Katsumi, panting with a blush on her face, said, "It was so fucking hot to see you like that in class. I wanted to jump your bones then and there." Izuku just smirked at her and said, "You're insatiable." As he then nipped at her ear and whispered, "As much as I wish to take you here and now, we have to go," he said and kissed her once on the neck before letting go of her and straightening his uniform.

Frowning because she knows he's right and she got worked up, she said to him, "Damn, I hate it when you're right. All right, but you better make up for it tonight." He just smiled at her and said, "Don't worry, I won't let my sexy dynamite be without proper care." He then leaned in and gave her another kiss, but this one less lustful and more loving than anything.

~Half an hour later under the bridge.~

As Izuku was passing under the bridge, taking a shortcut to his house, he suddenly heard something and jumped, rolling forward. Quickly turning toward the direction from where he jumped, he pulled something out of his backpack. He saw a huge mass of sludge with two eyes and a mouth standing where he was originally at. "Ha, so you are quick and have some kind of sensory quirk. You will make a perfect flesh suit for a bit," the mass of sludge said.

Izuku frowned and spoke up, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but you ain't getting my body. And also, I don't have a quirk, but that doesn't stop me from kicking your ass." Izuku said as his now gloved hands came into view, and electricity started playing around his fingers.

Before either one of them was able to move and attack, the manhole from which the sludge villain came opened, and a man came out speaking. "Have no fear, why? Because I am here!" Symbol of Peace, Japan's Number One Hero, and once upon a time Izuku's favorite hero appeared. All Might, the blond muscular giant, stood there in all his glory, his signature smile on his face. "You aren't going anywhere but the prison, you villain. Now make this easy for all of us and surrender." The villain sneered and said, "You'll never take me alive." As he charged at Izuku, who quickly jumped and activated his electric gloves, and quickly struck at the villain, electrocuting him, giving All Might time to use one of his attacks to incapacitate the villain.

Helping All Might gather the sludge villain into two large water bottles, Izuku ended up having a small conversation with the hero. "Young man, thank you for your assistance. You were very brave and helpful in capturing this fiend," the blond giant said with his signature smile, looking at Izuku, who just smiled back and nodded. "You're welcome, All Might. It was an honor helping you," he said as he pulled out his hero analysis book and asked in a bit of a sheepish tone, "But could you maybe sign this, if it's not a problem?" The older man just laughed and took the book, signing it. But then he noticed the book's name and its contents: "Hero Analysis for the Future No. 13," it was called, and the pages were filled with information and analysis, along with very well-drawn forms of different heroes. "Young man, these are very impressive writings," he said and looked towards Izuku. "Are you planning to become a hero? With this kind of information and that electric quirk you have, you'd be a very good hero," All Might stated to the young man.

He chuckled and answered, "Thank you for the compliment, and yes, I did plan to become a hero, although it was not a quirk, but the electro-gloves I made," he told him as All Might raised an eyebrow at that and asked, "Oh, really? What is your quirk then?" He asked, wondering what this boy's quirk might be, perhaps some form of supersmarts or other. "I have no quirk, I'm quirkless," Izuku said with a shrug, seemingly not caring about his lack of power.

Before All Might could say anything, he felt his wound act up. 'Shit, my time limit is almost up,' he thought as he quickly said, "Well, young man, thank you for your assistance. I better get this villain to the authorities, see you around!" He said, preparing to jump away, not realizing that one of the bottles was still on the ground.

But Izuku did. His eyes widened, and he spoke, "All Might, wait!" But the man didn't listen, and just as he jumped away, Izuku grabbed the bottle and hung onto the man's leg for dear life as they soared through the sky.

The number one hero looked down and said, "Hey, I do love my fans, but this is a bit excessive, let go!" He said as Izuku answered, "I can't, we are too high!" All Might blinked before nodding, "Fair point, hold on," he said as he went to land on top of one of the rooftops nearby.

As Izuku calmed down, All Might looked at him and asked, "What could have possessed you to try something like that?" Izuku just brought up the bottle and said, "You forgot this one and were about to leap away when I tried to tell you." All Might's eyes widened, and he nodded. "Ah, I see. Thank you, young man. That does make sense why you had latched onto my leg," he said, grabbing the bottle and was about to place it in his pocket when his wound had acted up once more, and he went up in smoke.

Izuku coughed a bit as he swiped at the air. "What is going on?" He asked as he saw where All Might was. There stood a short, skinny, almost skeleton-like version of the number one hero. Izuku jumped back a bit in a fighting stance, frowning as he asked, "What is going on here? Who are you?" He asked, not jumping to any conclusions just yet, but in case this person proves to be hostile, he was prepared for a fight, although he didn't have his electro-gloves on, but he did know how to fight with pure hand-to-hand combat.

The All Might look-alike raised his hands in a placating manner, speaking up, "Calm down, young man, I will explain everything." He said, and then coughed up a substantial amount of blood. Izuku dropped his guard and asked if the man was alright.

The All Might look-alike nodded and wiped the blood left on his lips away and spoke, "Yes, I am, thank you for worrying." He sighed and spoke, "I assure you, young man, I'm All Might, but the reason why I'm like this," he said, gesturing to his body before pulling his shirt up a bit, revealing a torso that was more scar than torso, "is this. I lost half of my respiratory system seven years ago, so I could only use my quirk for a certain amount of time, and every day it gets shorter and shorter." Izuku nodded and realized something. "Was this during your fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" He asked, and All Might raised an eyebrow. "You are quite well informed, but no, the fight in which I got injured was kept secret from the public," he said, and Izuku nodded.

All Might got up and took the bottle, placing it in his pocket as he said, "I better get this villain to the po-" He stopped as he realized that his pocket was empty. The second bottle wasn't there. "Where is the other-" He got cut off as an explosion happened in the distance.

Izuku, realizing what happened, quickly jumped off the roof to a fire escape of a nearby building and parkoured towards the place the explosion came from. All Might was surprised for a moment before he ran down the stairs to the streets and rushed to the place the explosion came from.

Izuku was on top of a two-story building, now once again having his electro-gloves and what looked like a wrist-mounted grappling hook, and what looked like some kind of visor over his eyes. He used the said visor to assess the situation, seeing fires all over and several cars burning, as well as some buildings in flames or collapsed. He looked at the middle of the street, seeing the sludge villain, smaller than before, holding a small six-year-old child as a hostage and using the kid's quirk, which seemed very destructive as it was able to make very large fireballs. He saw that the heroes and police were doing their best to contain the fires and help the civilians out, but he also saw Mt. Lady, who was just standing there and looking like a headless chicken.

Izuku frowned, realizing the kid might not have much more time. Thus, he looked up at the rooftops surrounding the street to see if there was at least one water tower near the edge. Luckily for him, there were three of them, so he quickly pulled out what looked like a gun or a launcher of some kind. He also took out three egg-shaped projectiles of some sort, put them in the launcher, and fired them all at the water towers in rapid succession, thinking, 'I hope these work as I planned them to. I didn't have time to test them before this shit happened.' As he thought that, the projectiles each hit their mark and started beeping.

Before the water towers exploded from the inside out, and the water rushed outside with a hard jet-like intensity, putting out most of the fires and making the sludge villain a little heavier and more livid, making it fall off the kid, allowing him to breathe. Izuku was quick to take advantage of the situation by running with a start and jumping off the roof. Halfway down, he launched the grappling hook, which grabbed hold of one of the taller buildings. The combination of Izuku's speed from him falling and his way of motion allowed him to catch enough speed to go through the sludge villain and grab the kid away from him as he swung to the other side of the street. "Kamui Woods, catch!" he shouted to the hero as he swung closer to them and threw the kid directly at the man's chest. The hero was quick to catch the kid and make sure he was alright.

Now with his hands free again, he quickly detached the grappling hook from the wall as it slid back into the launcher. He grabbed the top of a light pole, swinging a bit before tucking into himself as he touched down to the street in a combat roll, before quickly rolling back onto his feet. He was a bit scraped and bruised by the fall, but nothing serious. His uniform was also a bit torn, but nothing that couldn't be fixed.

When the sludge villain saw him, he scowled and roared, "You again! You really think you can stop me!?" The green, disgusting mass of sludge demanded in its watery voice. Izuku smirked and pointed to himself, "Who, me? No." But then he pointed to the side and said, "But he will." He said as everyone looked and saw All Might land where the green-haired teenager pointed. The said blond giant arrived just shortly after Izuku did, and he witnessed everything that happened, which motivated him to go beyond his time limit. As he transformed and landed, he shouted out, "Detroit Smash!" The mass of sludge hit against a wall, finally knocking it out and stopping the chaos of the now-over hostage situation.

Several minutes later, as the police gathered the remains of the sludge villain and the reporters swarmed the number one hero, trying to get an interview from him, Izuku had a conversation with a police detective and several of the heroes on the scene. He surprised them by holding out his hands, saying, "I surrender myself into your custody." The detective and heroes looked him over before one of them asked, "How old are you, kid?" It was Kamui Woods who asked curiously, looking at him as he was in a school uniform yet was built like a brick wall. "17, sir," he said, still holding his hands out. The detective told him, "Put your hands down, kid, you're not going to be arrested for doing a good deed, but even if we were planning on doing that, we can't, given that you are a minor." Izuku nodded as he placed his hands back to his side. "But you will have to pay a fine for illegal use of your quirk and for damage to city property," Mt. Lady said, a bit bitter for how Izuku, in her eyes, stole all the fame.

Izuku nodded. "I'll do that, but only for the property damage, for I can't pay a fine for illegal quirk use if I don't have a quirk to use," he said, shocking them before Death Arms asked, "Then how did you manage to damage the water towers and direct that same water to the fires?" Izuku smiled and pulled out one of the egg-shaped projectiles he used. "With this. I based it off a breach charge, but made it more as a concussion grenade, mainly to serve as a way to safely incapacitate a villain with a minor chance of making a crater from the intensity of the water pressure. As for the guiding of the water, I just aimed to make almost a triangle to extinguish the fires that Backdraft couldn't contain." This astonished the heroes at the amount of tactical genius, but it also made them worry for how this boy, who wasn't even an adult yet, had made equipment almost the same as what the military and even some heroes use.

Backdraft nodded in acknowledgement and said, "Smart thinking, kid, and you say you made this by yourself?" Izuku nodded. "Yes, sir. My dream was to become a hero ever since I was a kid. And I figured if I don't have a quirk, I can just compensate for it by using support items for different occasions." The heroes and the detective mentally had a sigh of relief, given the fact they don't have to worry about any potential domestic terrorism or a future villain. The detective sighed and brought up his notepad. "Alright then, just give me your name, kid," he said as the green-haired boy nodded, "Izuku Midoriya, sir." The last name made the detective and older heroes pause for a moment before they made it look like it didn't.

~A bit latter~

Now, as Izuku was walking away through what looked like a suburban area, he was thinking about how Katsumi, his mom, and his uncle were going to grill him. He shuddered a bit, hoping they weren't going to be too harsh on him. "I am here!" All Might called out as he slid in front of Izuku. The said boy stopped, a bit surprised, and raised an eyebrow. "All Might? Why are you here, and how did you get rid of all those reporters?" He asked as the number one hero laughed and hit a pose, "I stand for justice, not sound bites, because I am All Migh- cough" The man coughed up blood once again and transformed back into his smaller, skeletal form.

Izuku quickly rushed to his side and asked, "Are you okay?" The man coughed some more and nodded. "Yes, young man, thank you," he said as he took a deep breath and got up. "I wish to thank you and to apologize," he told the bewildered teen. "For what?" Confused, Izuku asked, wondering what the number one meant by that. In his eyes, he did something every decent human being would, and All Might didn't need to thank him for it, let alone apologize for what happened.

The man sighed and said, "If you hadn't acted, that child would have died due to me not making sure I secured the villain. In my haste to hide my secret, I almost cost a child their life. So, thank you, young man, for putting yourself on the line and giving me courage and resolve to go beyond my limits. And my apologies that you had to do so and, in the process, risked your life." Izuku smiled and said, "You don't have to be sorry. After all, I was planning to be a hero, and risking my life to save another's, especially so young, is a given. But I will accept your thanks," he said with a smile that seemed eerily familiar to All Might. Then, everything clicked into place out of nowhere.

The face shape, the hair, the familiarity of the voice and the way of talking, and that selflessness all made sense when he remembered the boy's last name, Midoriya… 'Hisashi's boy,' he realized and smiled. "Very well, young man. But I have a question for you, if you don't mind," he asked the younger man, who nodded.

"Sure, what do you want to know?" Izuku asked, raising an eyebrow. The look on All Might's face before he smiled and asked him that seemed a bit weird to Izuku, but he figured he might have reminded him of someone.

The blond man sighed and looked a bit contemplative before looking Izuku in the eyes and asking, "Would you like to become my successor?"

To be continued…

A/N: Wow, that was a long wait from my last upload, almost 40 days. Sorry for the long wait, guys.

You must be wondering why I didn't upload when I said I would, and why I'm uploading this instead of "Ghost of Konoha."

Well, it all has to do with the fact that I lost my original data for the "Ghost of Konoha" chapter that was supposed to come out. It currently has 2k words. You might think it's not a big deal, but it actually is. You see, when I lost most of it, it had around 9k words and wasn't even halfway through. So, you see, if I didn't say I would make that chapter longer, I might have just cut it in half and uploaded it in two parts. But I didn't want to do that since I already did a similar thing before, and I quite frankly don't like to do it. So, I decided to continue writing it until it's fully over, but a creator's block combined with life happening made it so I wasn't able to do it.

Thankfully, I had this almost fully complete, so for the past few days, I was finishing it up and fine-tuning it to how I wanted it to be.

So yeah, guys, I mostly will write the alternative timeline of this story (yes, it's obvious that I have a thing for alternative timelines, lol) that will concentrate more on what you saw in the beginning of the chapter.

I will write it during today and upload it tomorrow on my birthday, so you guys have something to read until Christmas or maybe even New Year's, when one of those dates "Ghost of Konoha" or "The Rise of the Tsar" will be updated.

So yeah, I hope you guys can forgive me and enjoyed the stories.

All that you just saw here was my old story, just a bit fixed up and with better spelling and pacing. At least I hope so. So, as I said, it's all for now.

So stay safe, stay healthy, and bye-bye :P
