Speedkarate: Wow that awesome. enjoy seeing these fights and also happy New Year.
Thank ya, thank ya. Wanted a lot of action in that chapter and glad you enjoyed!
Bugzoid14: Really cool seeing how skilled he is especially with dealing with the bandits.
Don't forget what all Relon has done. He's crazy strong when he gets serious and he's only going to get stronger, haha XD.
Shinn: Second chapter of 2021, let's goooooo!
Andrew: Finally, now I have something else to do aside from Beyonetta.
Shinn: Thick thighs saves lives after all.
Andrew: Amen to that!
Reverting to normal, Relon breathes a heavy hot breath of air.
"I believe it is safe to come out now." Laura notes being the first to step out followed by the others.
"You guys can come out now!" Relon hollers causing the five to stop.
"Uh, Relon. Are you o-okay?"
Turning to his classmates, the boy only blinks before he begins to bob his head in thought.
"Honestly. No." He turns back forward, the ground beginning to quake.
"What the?!"
Out from the path ahead, hundreds upon hundred of monsters ranging from mushrooms to beetles to the infamous martial arts apes. Last but certainly not leas,t Grunoja and the Lord of the Forest themselves.
"W-W-W-W-WHOOAAA!"
"Lower it, Elliot." Relon calls calmly.
"S-S-Sorry..." He apologizes with chattering teeth getting
"So these are the beasts that reside within the forest." Aurelia comments.
"Just look at them all...! If there were this many, they easily could have taken down these goons." Alisa comments.
"No." Relon interjects. "That's too big of a risk. Every life here matters. Unless they were backed against a corner, the monsters and beasts were not going to fight." He states turning to face his class. "Were any hurt?" He asks looking at Grunoja to gain a low grumble in response. "Good. Were these all of the intruders?" Another grumble.
"When Relon sent a letter three years ago mentioning he was going to learn to speak to beasts, I could only fathom the mere sight."
"You're telling me." Rean agrees.
"It's good to see you guys again." Relon greets finally easing himself. "Though I wish it wasn't under such circumstances." He says, the smaller primate monsters rounding up the men and tying them with vines.
Giving a grunt, Grunoja smacks the ground. All of the creatures except a few leave in all directions.
"Yeah, I know. Bad luck everywhere I go. Trust me, it's been getting worse and worse." He chuckles. "Oh! You guys, come here!" He waves over. "Lemme introduce you guys to Grunoja, the Elder Beast, and the rest of the residing animals."
"Hello there." Rean greets.
"A pleasure to meet you all." The Arseid users bow.
"Uh, hi?" Alisa smiles nervously.
"Uh... A p-pleasure to m-meet you all?"
"Elliot, they're harmless... sort of."
"What do you mean 'sort of?!'"
"Details, details. Look, we're all friends here so lets focus on the problem at hand." He suggests walking over to the tied up men.
Slapping one a few times, the man comes to.
"Alright, either tell me what I want to know or you're going to wish you stayed in whatever crawlspace you came from." Relon threatens crouching to eye level.
"W-what is it?!"
"Question number one; who are you guys? Choose not to answer and my friends here will get angry considering you're already trespassing. Not to mention you came armed."
"L-Like I'd tell you! Do your worst!"
"Ooh, a tough guy. Alright, I think I will." He grins snapping his fingers for some beetles to fly over.
"Uh, Relon? What do you plan on doing...?" Alisa calls over worriedly.
"Me? Nothing." He lifts the man out of his binding with a hand to throw him to the ground. "These guys? That's a different story. So, wanna answer me now?"
"Eat it!" The man proclaims digging into his pocket and pulling out a syringe.
"He wouldn't!" Aurelia shouts in denial, Relon holding his stoic expression as before the man can lodge the needle, Pippin comes from behind knocking it out of his hand.
"He can't." Relon corrects standing up and picking up the vial. "So, wanna start talking or do we still have to go with the second resort? I'm being leanient so I would take the chance if I were you."
"Tch, just because you're the son of the Wandering Beast doesn't mean shit!"
"Oh? So you all know who I am, do you?" Relon cracks a grin. "Then you know I don't mind knocking you around some more. And you must know I get angry easily." The beetles and Pippin slowly close in on the helpless man.
"Unlike the others, I'm dedicated to the cause! I'm built different!"
"Let's see just how built you are then." He snaps, the beetles and Pippin bombarding the grunt brunt hits.
"Gak!"
"Ready to spill the beans?"
"Ne- Gak! Never!"
"Suit yourself then." Relon shrugs walking over to his friends.
"Note to self, never make you angry." Elliot shudders.
"These chumps had it coming." He huffs.
"So what shall be our next plan of action?" Laura asks.
"Supposedly, the provincial army stationed in Celdic is in on their operation..." Relon says going into thought.
"We can't just leave these guys here." Alisa says, the group lookin to the man still being pummeled.
"Technically, we can but we shouldn't. I mean I want to but the good guy in me is saying not to." Relon sighs.
"So what do we do with them. Plus the two from the gate?" Elliot wonders.
"Hm? Oh, I already have that answer." All eyes go to Relon.
"Why didn't you say so sooner?!" Alisa exclaims.
"Heat of the moment." He shrugs walking to Grunoja and jumping atop the beast's head sitting crosslegged. "These guys mean the same as the others in town. Seeing anyone threaten family... I think anyone can get where I'm coming from. Still, sorry for going off on my own." He bows.
"You don't need to apologize." Rean dismisses. "I'll admit the way you took down those men were..."
"Savage?" Aurelia wonders.
"Very." He laugh. "But it is understandable."
"Yes. Raise your head, Relon." Laura smiles.
"Fear not for what is natural to the heart."
"Yeah, if anyone wanted to hurt my family, I don't know what I'd do." Alisa speaks.
"Yeah, same here. Though I doubt many could get to my dad." a Elliot jokes.
Lifting his head, Relon gives a sincere smile.
"Thanks, everyone." He says followed by a grunt from the Elder Beast for a twitch to escape Relon.
"Why does everyone say that?! I'm always careful!"
"What does the Elder say?" Laura asks.
"It asked that you all keep looking out for me. I tend to get into trouble everywhere I go." Relon hmpfs.
"Haha, that's family for you." Elliot laughs. "But what was it you had in mind for dealing with all of these men?"
"Oh, yeah." Relon stands up. "What I had in mind were-"
Before Relon can finish his sentence, a whistle sounds gaining all's attention.
"What on Earth...?"
"Uh-oh."
"Seems we have some unwelcome guests." Laura remarks.
From the entrance to the clearing comes around a dozen soldiers armed dressed in blue uniforms led by a man seeming to be their superior officer.
"There they are!" A soldier says.
"And they're not alone." Another agrees, the squadron lining up with their guns at the ready.
"Elliot, stay calm!" Rean advises already seeing the terror in the boy's eyes.
"E-Easy for you to say!"
"Put your hands in the air!" One soldier says.
"Don't try to resist!"
"Why are you aiming your weapons at us? The bad guys are the ones tied up over there!" Alisa points.
"Bad guys? Hmpf! As far as I see it, you students attacked and tied up these park rangers doing their jobs!" The commanding officer denounces.
"Are you serious?! Oh all the no good!"
(These guys have to be in their plan otherwise they seriously wouldn't be making such a terrible decision.) Elliot whispers to Rean.
(Definitely. But what should we do?) He glances to Relon still atop Grunoja.
Why is he remaining quiet? Looking closer at Relon, he takes note of the boy now smirking.
"Hey! Where are you looking?!" A soldier demands gaining Rean's attention. "What the...?" The soldier grows quiet along with the rest.
"Are they just now realizing Grunoja and the Elder?" Alisa sweatdrops.
"S-Sir, w-what d-do we do?!" The soldier exclaims clearly trembling.
"S-Stand strong! We simply must stick to the plan!"
"Oh?" Relon calls standing up for the officer and the rest to widen. "What plan?"
"T-The W-Wandering B-Beast?!"
"You idiot, he's too young!" Another snaps.
"He's right." Relon hops down. "The Wandering Beast is my dad." He reveals walking forward, all guns aimed at him. "Now then, what was this about a plan? Because if you guys were real provincial army men, then you'd know there isn't construction conducted within the park. Not to mention no one is allowed inside except for us Namikazes!" He growls.
"Tch, trying to deter us will do no good for you criminals!"
"They're not even trying to hide their involvement..." Elliot notes.
"Utterly shameless." Aurelia comments.
"Admit it, you're not even real provincial arm soldiers! You're nothing but fakes!" Relon points a finger.
"H-How dare you?!"
"Oh, I damn well dare! I dare you to show me your credentials! Prove me wrong then!"
"I... I... I have no reason to comply with such outlandish request from you!"
"Actually, you do." A feminine voice answers gaining everyone's attention.
"Huh?" Rean wonders.
"Who's there?!" The commanding officer calls out. "Erk!" Out of the entrance comes around three dozen soldiers clad in grey military uniforms armed with orbal rifles easily outnumbering the provincial army.
"No way! The Railway Military Police!"
(The Railway Military Police?) Laura whispers in slight confusion.
(Yeah, the RMP!)
(Supposedly the most elite unit in the whole of the Imperial Army.) Aurelia notes with crossed arms.
"And the one in charge of such an elite unit is none other than..." Relon begins with a smirk, a woman walking past the RMP with a victorious smile on her face.
"The Icy Maiden...!" A soldier finishes in horror.
"What is an Ironblood doing here?!"
"What is the meaning of this?! This area is under the jurisdiction of the Kreuzen Provincial Army!" The officer states.
"Shut the hell up, you damn liar. No it isn't!" Relon flatly states.
"My nephew is right." Another woman's voice cuts through all as Cecily is shown coming up next to Claire.
"Huh? Who the hell is this woman?"
"Oh, you poor souls." She sighs withdrawing her pike. "If Yujiro were here, you all may very well be dead. I'm somewhat surprised Relon didn't do the deed himself."
"I'm too pure." Relon shrugs earning giggles from both.
"That is an arguable cause but we can save that discussion for later." Claire smiles, all three refocus on the army group. "According to the the provincial army's lawbook as stated by article one section eight subsection three paragraph seven, any officer in any presiding area is required to present their identification to any and all should they either be asked or ordered." She quotes placing a hand on her hips.
"As such, I believe Relon is right in asking for your identification, officer. Now then, are you going to give it to him or not?" Cecily smiles gripping her pike with one firm hand.
"W-Whoa..."
"Whoever she is, she's good." Alisa smiles.
"S-Sir, what do we do?" A soldier asks stepping back.
"We're so screwed!"
"Damn it, silence!"
"Come on, officer." Said main tensing at the voice to turn around quickly stepping back.
Punching his blazing palm, Relon glares at the man with Grunoja copying the gesture.
"S-Sir, your orders!" Another soldier pleads, the officer looking between bother obstacles.
"It should be noted we've also taken care of the market incident as well as apprehended those men." Claire comments for the commanding officer to widen. "No way..." Clenching his teeth, the man turns with a mighty glare to ceases jumping and falling on his ass, Relon having jumpscared the man by sneaking up behind him with crossed arms.
"I'm no chess man, but checkmate dumbass." Relon snarls.
Looking around at the overwhelming odd, the provincial army soldiers exchange glances between one another to nod followed by their surrender. Looking at his fellow men, the man can only hang his head in defeat.
"RMP, all yours." He backs away to his friends.
Saluting, they take both criminal groups away leaving Class VII, Claire, Cecily, and the two beasts.
"Truly, you are a miracle worker Major." Relon smiles, the two women joining them.
"Believe me, everything up to now require minimal effort. I was more afraid of what I'd have to write in my report if you ended up going to far again."
"Hey, those guys from before had it coming after what they pulled." He grins.
"Uh, do you two know each other?" Elliot wonders.
"Yes they do, Elliot." Cecily answers, both Relon and Claire looking to the woman. "They're colleagues from when Relon stayed in Heimdallr with Yujiro."
Phew/ Thank Aidios. Both mentally sigh.
"Really? What were you doing there? Oh wait, is that another one of your many secrets?" Alisa chuckles.
"Yup. And unless we actually go to Heimdallr for another field excercise, I won't be telling you all about that one anytime soon." He places his arms behind his head walking over and stopping next to Claire facing his friends. "Though she is aware of certain things." He shrugs.
"Would you quit being so secretive." Cecily pushes Relon, the boy nearly stumbling.
"H-Hey! So what, you want me to just sit down with my class and tell them practically my whole life in an hour or less. Cause I can."
"You just choose not to."
"Exactly, and as one of my only mother figures, I would greatly appreciate it if you oh I don't know... not go spilling secrets like a certain silver-haired teen we all know. Emphasis on silver." He deadpans.
"Well, he's getting better at least."
"Define better?"
"I think they're off in their own world." Elliot chuckles.
"Now that I think about it, Relon is always in his own little world whether talking to Pippin, Nameless, or when he's just deep in thought." Alisa notes.
"Huh, you're right." Rean agrees.
"I can hear you guys. Sheesh, let's get going already. Grunoja, Great Elder, I'll be back later!" He waves, both beasts grunting before disappearing further back.
Nodding in agreement, they begin following the trail back with Relon and Claire leading the way.
Looking around at the surrounding monsters once again a peace, a smile forms on the martial artist's face. One that goes noticed by Claire who too smiles looking around. Glancing behind him, he sees Cecily who winks at him and behind her the rest of Class VII.
"Thanks again, Claire." He says looking forward with hands in his pockets.
"I've told you, you don't need to thank me. We're a team after all. When I said, I'd come driving, I meant it."
"Yeah, driving from wherever to Celdic in about 30 minutes must be a record."
"Believe it or not, I was actually on my way here. We had gained intel on mysterious activities here."
"You don't say. Guess my text all but confirmed it."
"Very much so. But still..." She gives a subtle sigh looking to the canopy.
"But still what?"
"I not only called that we'd see each other again within two weeks but our reunion was..."
"Not what either of us were hoping for? Hehe, tell me about it. With the way things work, if we don't plan to see the other, all of our meet up may nd up like this."
"Please don't jinx us. I did it once, I don't want something like that to become a reality."
"Haha, sorry, sorry."
Further behind, the class is watching the two unable to hear their conversation.
"Those two seem quite close." Alissa comments.
"Well, they are colleagues supposedly so I guess it makes sense." Elliot says. "But did you guys notice how the RMP saluted to Relon?"
"Indeed. Whatever business Relon did in Heimdallr, he's surely gained the respect of such a unit." Aurelia notes. "Would either of you have any clue as to what?"
"Well, we know what he did but..." Rean grows quiet, all eyes falling on Laura whose own are locked on the duo ahead. "It might be better to hold off on that for a while." He mutters.
Celdic
Finally reaching the town, Relon glances at the orange sky.
Time sure went by suddenly.
Indeed. The sky was blue prior to entering the park.
"Finally back home." He sighs.
"It must be nice being back after so little time." Claire smiles.
"Yeah, there really is no place like home. Then again, I have multiple 'homes.' Each one special in their own way." He smiles back.
"How many do you have?" Alisa asks.
"Well let me think..." He turns around going in thought. "I have the obvious one here, there's Thors, I have a home in Heimdallr, Legram, and... one other place. So five in total." He nods.
"Huh, you certainly take after your dad." Elliot chuckles. "After wandering so much, I'm surprised you don't have more homes."
"Well, the first eight years we were constantly moving. We didn't stay in a town for no more than a few days if not a week. It wasn't until we reached Ymir that we stayed for some time."
"Really?"
"Yeah. After that, some time passed and I ended up staying at Legram with Laura while Mi- Dad went off to do more wandering. After that came Heimdallr and eventually Celdic and here we are."
"Now I know the order of the stories you have told me." Aurelia notes.
"Yeah, but how about we get hurry inside and get some grub? I bet the others already got the ingredients."
"Shouldn't we let Instructor Sara know about what happened?" Alisa wonders.
"Let me know about what?" A voice asks, all turning to see a smiling Sara approach to stop in her tracks.
"This is why I said we should hurry." Relon sighs.
"I should have known you'd be here with all these RMP scurrying everywhere." Sara greets stoically resting her arms under her chest.
"Of course, and I should have known you'd be at the closest bar while leaving your students on their own." Claire responds crossing her arms, both women glaring at the other.
"I'm guessing they're not fond of each other." Rean mutters nervously.
"Not at all." Relon sighs with a shake of his head walking in between the two. "As dangerous as it is getting in between you two, we have more dangerous matters to attend to." He says looking to Sara who raises an eyebrow.
Heading inside the orphanage, the group settle down eating along with the children. Relon forced to sut in between the glaring women to his bad luck. Afterwards, the group heads up to the infirmary where they fill Sara in. Blaze and Silver having joined as well.
"Seriously, your luck is completely the worst." She deadpans.
"Can we not get into my terrible luck!" Relon pleads, everyone seated in pairs at the beds with Sara next to Cecily.
"Yes, please focus on the issue at hand. As difficult as that may be for someone who just drank who knows how much alcohol."
"You'd be wise not to underestimate my focus when I'm a little tipsy."
"Can you two not!" Relon interrupts looking across at his teacher and to his lover next to him. "Focusing on the issue at hand, whoever those idiots were, they're supposedly working with Senate as a separate organization. But whatever the name is, they aren't willing to spill the beans."
"To think they all had syringes ready to end their lives."
"That's how much they were devoted to their cause." Cecily says solemnly.
"So the question becomes, what do we do now?" Alisa asks sitting with Aurelia.
"We are aware of their reinforcements en route to the park tomorrow morning." The white-haired students comments.
"But that leads one question." Rean notes looking to Relon. "Who exactly will be showing up?"
"More of those fake park rangers? Or... Senate?" Relon narrows looking to the floor.
Leaguient #25, Shifu. Looking back at that day with Arentula, I think he may have been in that ship amongst others. Most likely other Leaguients.
Do you believe Leaguients have a unique process regarding their missions?
Maybe. Considering Arentula was planning to take Alfin herself, it makes sense that other Leaguients be their to pick her up.
Which could imply that whenever a Leaguient is involve, it is likely others will be nearby.
But then that leads to the next question; how does their hierarchy goes? I thought alphabetical but 'S' doesn't go after 'A.' Is it a strength type. Each Leaguient stronger than the first?
Possibly either? Remember, Po and the other now Furious Five members address Shifu as master. From my gathered knowledge of titleship, master doesn't follow by a name but refers to one's real name.
So Shifu is his real name maybe? Then what's his Leaguient name? Wait, why even bother with such a stupid system?
I can not say for certain what their reasons may be.
Argh, damn it! Relon rustling his hair falling back onto the bed.
"This is so annoying! I have more questions than answers!" He groans.
"Looks like he's back with us." Elliot chuckles.
"You know, for planning a strategy, now isn't the best time to be speaking with Nameless." Alisa deadpans.
"Hey, we were having a talk over Senate in my defense!" Relon lifts up looking to the blonde.
"Nameless?" Claire asks gaining all's attention for Relon to go buck wide. "Who is that?"
Oh... shit.
"Relon." Cecily calmly calls gaining his attention. "You never told Claire about him, did you?"
Not responding, Relon can only hunch over clapping his hands together and placing them in front of his face.
"... Damn it." He mutters, the rest going wide-eyed as well as Alisa covers her mouth.
"How did you forget?!" Silver shouts. "All the time you two mpfh?!-"
"Silver, shut up!" Blaze covers the boy's mouth.
"Well this just got interesting." Sara smirks crossing a leg over her as she looks to Relon.
"I swear, of all the things, how did you forget to tell Claire of all people about Nameless?" Ccecily sighs.
"IT SLIPPED MY MIND, OKAY! WE WEREN'T TALKING BEFORE UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE WE LEFT FOR CELDIC!" He cries out falling back onto the bed resting a hand on his forehead.
Blinking, Claire remains locked on the male.
"Claire..." He mutters.
"Yes?"
"Please, please, please, tell me you aren't wired."
"Of course not."
Breathing a long sigh of relief, he slowly raises up looking at the Namikazes who look back expectantly.
"This is a semi-small-but-large predicament." He mutters.
"Just tell her!" Silver says.
"Easier said than done!" He retorts! "Claire is currently... well... uh..."
"Currently in officer mode?" She asks attempting to help with clarification.
"Yeah, that." He nods to the woman.
"I don't get it."
"Neither do I." Elliot agrees with Silver.
"It means she is obligated by that uniform to write anything and everything that she sees and hears during her work." Sara eyes the blue-haired woman who turns from Relon to glare back.
See and hear... Relon thinks to shoot to his feet with a grin.
"He just figured out a loophole I bet." Blaze says with a chuckle to receive a nod from her brother.
Whipping out his ARCUS unit, he types furiously before holding it in front of Claire. Looking at the words, she begins to read.
"If she has to report to her boss about everything she sees and hear, then there's no issue with something that doesn't exist as there is no proof." He grins.
"Hmpf, that is quite the clever tactic." Aurelia smirks.
Tilting her head, Claire looks to Relon.
"Seriously, how could you forget to tell me something as important as that?" Claire deadpans to the teen.
"Eh, it slipped my mind." He shrugs.
"Now, I'm lost." Alisa sighs.
"See the text, Alisa?" He asks holding his Arcus for all to see.
"Yeah?"
"Now you see it..." He clicks a button, all the text erasing in a single second. "Now you don't." He grins.
"I swear, Relon." Claire chuckles. "Is there anything else I should know?"
"There's a lot you should but that can be held off for another time. We have more pressing matters to deal with."
That Night
Exiting the orphanage, Relon and the rest of Class VII along with Claire stand around.
"Well then, it seems like tomorrow will be quite interesting for you all." Sara smiles.
"Yea- wait a sec. What do you mean you all?" Relon questions.
"When you came into town, I was actually getting ready to go over and help out Group B. Seems the boys are making their work difficult."
"Instructor Sara, you can't be serious!" Alisa exclaims.
"Oh, but she is." Relon and Claire say in unison, Relon with a sigh and Claire sharp with her tongue.
"Awe, you both know me so well~. Anyway, I best be off." She waves.
"What about tomorrow?!" Elliot calls.
"I'll be back in time. Don't worry, I'll make a dramatic entrance in case you all have some trouble. Considering you have the Weapon Collector and Ms. Major here, it shouldn't be too big of an issue." And with that, she departs into the station.
"Unbelievable. The same as ever."
"And she has to go to Parm. That's a good distance away. How is she going to get there and here in time?" Rean wonders.
"I wouldn't put it past her to take the wheel of whatever train she boards." Claire flatly notes.
"You two, I swear." Relon sighs to step away from the group. "I'm going to let Grunoja and the others know about the plan so you guys should get some rest."
"Would it be alright if I come, I would like to get better knowledge of the area." Claire asks to get a nod.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Alisa stretches her arms. "I could go for a nice bath."
"I second that notion." Aurelia smiles.
"A bed is calling my name." Elliot yawns.
"I hear you." Rean agrees. "What about you Laura?" Said girl unresponsive seeming to be in thought.
"Laura?" Aurelia elbows snapping the girl back to reality.
"Y-Yes? Forgive me, I was deep in thought."
Now that I think about it, Laura has been quiet ever since we left the park. Does it have to do with Claire?
That would be what is known as jealously, would it not?
Laura? Jealous of Claire? That's hard to believe.
"Would it be alright if I joined you two?" Laura asks interrupting his thought.
"Hm? Really? I thought you'd be tired like the rest." He tilts his head.
"No, not yet."
"I have no problem with it." He shrugs bobbing his head. "Claire?"
"That is fine with me." She smiles.
I believe Laura now falls under the term, a 'third wheel.'
What are you talking about? We weren't going to go on a date. Wait... we've never even gone on a date since we've gotten together.
I was led to believe that with a night sky filled with stars, a moment in the clearing would be a perfect setting, no?
...
You did not think of such, did you?
You know what I think so why bother asking...?
I simply am interesting in your point of view on the missed opportunity.
"SHUT UP, NAMELSS, YOU SELFISH JERK!" Relon cries for all to clasp their ears watching the boy as he stomps off.
"Is that normal?"
"Believe it or not, yes." Rean chuckles, all watching as Laura hastens her pace catching up with the embarrassed male.
"Well then, I best catch up. Have a pleasant night, you all." Claire bids walking after the duo.
Catching up to Laura, the two remain looking forward only a good distance behind an embarrassed Relon as evident by the noticeable heat exuding from his body.
"Relon started speaking with Nameless as of yesterday, correct?" Claire asks remaining ahead.
"That is correct." Laura answers, her expression remaining neutral.
"Considering how organized he usually is, it's actually relaxing and amusing to see him be scatterbrained."
"You make a fair point."
"Your name was Laura, correct?" She looks to the girl, both stopping to face one another. "I failed to say this before with the rest of Class VII , so allow me the chance to make up for earlier. A pleasure to be working with you all." Claire smiles extending her hand.
Glancing downwards, all Laura can do is eye the body part.
What do you mean I can't spot the 'P's and Q's'? Where did that even come from?!
Your habit of using higher level profanity such as "damn" and ahem "shit" have increased. That is all I am referring to.
Blame Mi- I mean Dad! He's been a bad influence on me!
To me that sounds like an excuse.
It's the truth!
Stopping in his step, he realizes the presences of both girls have faded. Turning around, he sees both further back the path. Jogging over, he notes Laura going to shake Claire's hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, but if I may, I would like to ask you a question. Considering you assisted him in taking down Arentula." Her words causing the Icy Maiden to narrow everso slightly.
"It seems you know more than I thought. By all means, ask away." Closing near, Relon shifts to a walk to stop wide-eyed.
"What is your relationship with Relon?"
A/N: Teehee :D
