Once the game concluded the man had a satisfied look across his face. Percy placed her hands on her lap, hiding them from the man's cold gaze, it seemed that he was waiting for her to make a move, studying every little movement that she made. Percy had been here for who knows how long in all fairness she has completely lost track on how long she had been here her thoughts drifted back to her dream she had the previous night. She was dating him hell she lived with him, riptide had been on the floor next to his desk. She became aware that she was dreaming she was in a living area. It was huge and there were so many things around, there was lots of red in the room but there were pops of blue like the blue had been added by someone else. She had heard something in the other room and when she opened it she saw Ares.
The man seemed to have noticed that she had zoned out, Percy didn't actually realise he had stood up and walked over to her until she felt his gloved finger running across her cheek. She jumped out of the chair away from him.
He let out a deep chuckle clearly amused by Percy's reaction, "Come on princess, surely you understand by now that I will not harm you unless you misbehave." He had walked over to her, and Percy had to force herself not to move away from him regardless of the fear she was feeling. Slowly, he grabbed her hand and pulled it towards his lips placing a kiss on them, "i enjoyed our little game but playtime is over you have another task to complete however you aren't wearing the correct attire." Percy looked down as the man used his magic to change her clothes. She was now wearing a dress that was black it had golden accents on the waist, it had a huge v neck cut that was only a few inches away from the belt of the dress. Percy warped her arms around herself; she wasn't a fan of this dress. Granted it was comfortable but she hated it. The man placed the blindfold over her eyes, once tying the thick piece of cloth around her eyes he dragged his fingers down her face to her neck then to her shoulders, he pushed her out the room and they began walking. They soon came to a stop but the man didn't remove the blindfold. "Ok princess you are going to answer the riddle that i will give you, then you will need to look for a collection of papers that you will then need to put together. Do you understand?"
"Yes"
"Good,"
"Why am I in different clothes?"
The man chuckled, "think of this dress as a gift, a beauty like you should have nice things"
"That doesn't answer my question,"
"I know."
Slowly she removed the blindfold, Percy found herself in an enormous library, bookshelves as tall as the ceiling, the floor was covered in black wood, a large deep purple carpet was next to four large purple sofas. Above the sitting area was a massive golden chandelier. This place was gorgeous. She knew for a fact Annabeth would have liked it.
"The riddle is on the table," said the man pointing towards the large coffee table just under the chandelier.
"Well, princess, I believe you should get to work."Said the man as he turned around and Left the room, locking it behind him. Percy was glad that he had gone, but she wasn't too impressed with the fact that this was yet another task. She hated it here and just wanted to leave and these tasks were becoming infuriating. They didn't seem to have any similarities between them that could allow her to pinpoint and motive. They're possibly were some and she just couldn't see them herself, that's another reason why she missed Annabeth so much the other girl would have been able to find out what these tasks were for in no time at all if she were here. She walked over to the table and picked up the paper that had the riddle on it. The riddle was irritating to percy as it could have meant a number of different books. This place was huge there was no way she was going to get it done before sundown. And Percy didn't. It took her two more hours of her mind running through all the possibilities of which type of book it could be then it took her five days just to find the correct book. Food appeared in the place every meal time and the man came back as well. He would taunt her about how she couldn't find the book when percy would let her anger get the better of her, he showed her that he was more powerful, once he flicked his wrist and a vein from outside slithered through the window and wrap itself around her neck choking her till she passed out, another time he burned her arm again with those bracelets. Percy was thrilled when she finally found the book, it was called Hollow hearts. She honestly didn't care what the book was about in all fairness she was just over the moon that she was able to find the pieces. There were 15 pieces of paper in total and it took her a good hour to fit them together perfectly. She was confused by what she saw once she had pierced them together, it was a temple of sorts with a large heart that had what looked to be a bloody arrow through it.
"It confused me too," said a light angelic voice from behind her. Percy whipped her head around and came face to face with a girl a few years older than herself she must have been twenty four, her hair was a deep brown, her eyes were a gorgeous shade of green, the dress she worse was identical to her own but it looked like it had been sliced up due to all the tiers, she also bore many scars across her arms. She was like the ghost woman in her room.
"That picture," she continued, "it confused me too,"
"Oh yeah i mean it's not anything i recognise,"
The woman had walked over to her and looked into percy's eyes, "you are younger than all of us were,"
"All of you?" asked percy, this must have been one of the other girls that this man had taken.
"Yes all of us,"
"I'm sorry for what happened to you but i'll do my best to fix this ill get free and fix all of this,"
"That's sweet of you child but you can't no one has won before,"
"What's your name?"
"I no longer have a name, listen if you want to survive this you need to become something you are not,"
"what ?" asked percy but the woman had already disappeared leaving percy in the room alone as she held the now constructed paper close to her person waiting for the man to return she didn't want to see him but she knew he was coming.
ON OLYMPUS*
Hades burst into the meeting hall on Olympus with Hecate in tow. "We have a way to find Percy." he yelled loud enough they were all sure that the whole of olympus could hear him.
Poseidon shot up from his throne , "how brother," this was the most hope the sea god had in a very long time they were getting his little girl back.
"It's the blood on the letter my lord," hecate began, "there is a spell which i can cast and the blood on the map will show us her location,"
"Why didn't we do that when we first got the letter?" asked Athena
"Because my lady, I didn't know the spell existed till a few minutes ago. I have also got a spell that will break the barrier he is using temporarily."
The olympians watched as hecate cast the spell and the dried blood from the note moved from the page to the map it stopped in the middle of the ocean. They knew where she was. They all knew that all of them going wouldn't end well so only a few would go grab percy and flash back to Olympus. Artemis,Athena and Hestia all were chosen to go, but Percy may not react well to the gods going so these goddess chose to go instead as they know how to help traumatised young girls.
back with percy*
The man hadn't come back into the library yet so she stood in the room twiddling her thumbs. She stood her eyes bloodshot from crying as she was getting more scared the longer she was left alone. Her mind was wondering and she was scaring herself with whatever this man could have instored for her next. Instead of her captor walking in she saw three goddesses, all three that she admired greatly. But no they couldn't be real.
"Percy dear," said Hestia, her voice soft almost like how her mother spoke to her when she had a nightmare, "where here to take you home,"
Percy violently shook her head backing up away from the women, "no. no no no no, you are not real your just my imagination," percy knew there was no way they were real especially after the man had come into the library ten minutes after she had solved the puzzle and everything that happened then him leaving keeping her locked in the room for two more days without coming back in once, she knew she had to be hallucinating or perhaps he was making this happen. Perhaps this is her punishment. The goddesses looked at percy hurt but they couldn't say they were shocked. "Percy," said artemis taking a few steps towards the trembling demigod, "we are very much really and i know you don't believe that now but please ask us anything you want we can prove that it's really us," Percy couldn't say a word, she was full on balling her entire body hurt her mind hurt her sanity hurt, if she was this hurt by all of this those other girls must have suffered a whole lot more. She had to find a way for their souls to rest in peace. Her uncle would make sure they got to a good place, she knew it. She just had to free them and for that she couldn't leave. But it wasn't like she could because the goddesses in front of her weren't real. "Percy," this time it was Athena who spoke and the woman recited the very words that she had told Percy during the meeting on Olympus when the seven had obtained godlywood. Noone had heard the advice the goddess had given the hero. They were real. They were really here. Percy was trying to slow her cries but she couldn't, her body seemed to be in more pain the longer she stood here. The goddesses seemed to notice and quickly made their way to percy not giving the younger girl a chance to back away, what the goddesses saw made them freeze percy was covered head to toe in massive cuts, burns, bruises she looked like she had just fought the whole of tartarus with nothing more than a feather. Also there was a mark on the back of percy's neck it looked like someone had taken a knife and carved a lock on the back of her neck. "We need to hurry and get her out of here the spell won't last much longer." said Athena, they had already spent two hours searching this massive place for percy and they didn't have long before the spell that broke the barrier wore off.
"I c… c…. Can't leave," sputtered percy
"Yes you can, dear we have a way to," said Hestia placing her hand on percy's shoulder which caused the younger girl to flinch.
"No you don't get it i cant it wouldn't be fair if i did."
"What do you mean percy?" asked Artemis
"The others didn't leave and if i leave i can't free their souls i can't make sure they get peace."
Percy was a mess she truly was it was sad for the goddesses to witness. Even Though their young hero was in so much pain, was clearly afraid she still wanted to help people who she had never met.
"You can percy, ok we will help you all of olympus would help you. We don't know who this person is. But we can still help them but right now you need medical help." Percy was breaking and they knew it was only a matter of time before the man had found out they were there. Athena had brought some sleeping powder with her from hypnos, she felt awful about using it on percy but she knew that right now they didn't have time to argue with barnacle beards stubborn daughter.

How do you guys think Percy will react to finding out Ares is her soulmate? Will Ares even tell her? Will they find out how took percy and is still after her? We all know he won't give up just because the olympians saved her doesn't mean he won't get what he wants from her. Will they be able to save the others?
There is so much to still explore in this story and I hope you all stick around to find out. The next chapter will be out on Thursday the 13th march.
