Chapter 4: and throwing the hammer
Stolas wish to go to school may be coming true as Chen and a swan like demon silhouetted in a window were talking at the dealership "I need a car, inexpensive but strong and reliable can you service me?" She asked in a posh voice but strong as steel. "In a manner of speaking madam yes, uh welcome to Lord Chens motes, Lord Chen Owner founder whatever" he said as Chen shook the swan demons hand but her grip…both steel and ice. "Stella Leahy, the principle at Pride Hall elementary school, I must warn you sir I want a tight car because I run a tight ship" she said firmly causing Chen to stumble at her "Oh yeah huh, well uh…" he started "My school is a model of discipline! Use the rod and beat the child, that's my motto" she said
"Well that is a terrific motto! Milady" he said "You have any brats your self?" She asked "Yeah I got two boys, a fine chip of the block named Chen Junior and a runt of a bird mistake named Stolas" said Chen annoyed as Stella hummed "Humph they're all mistakes, children, especially boy children, Filthy nasty things! A good thing my Nanna taught me how to deal with such mistakes as a child" said Stella "Uh huh…well since you are an educator, I'm gonna make you a great deal" said Chen "Humph you better!" Said Stella "Great now lets do buisness" said Chen giving Stella the Keyes to the car he sold her.
Later at home as Stolas was reading Chen stepped in his room "Hey you, you're going to school" he sad as that made Stolas gasp "I am?" "Yep first thing tommowo" he said as that made Stolas gitty with excitement and happyness as he hugged his dad "Thank you thank you thank you" he said "Okay yeah yeah yeah you'll get a real education at this place
The next day Dressed in his fine school uniform and carrying a back pack Stolas walked down the path to what will be his new school eager to learn and eager to discover.
Narrator: Stolas had always wanted to go to school because he loved to learn he tried to imagine what his new school would be like, he pictured a lovely building surrounded by trees and flowers and swings
As soon as Stolas got to his new school…he saw it was just a 7 story building with a big play ground and a fence and there were playing children as he blinked
Well there was a building…and children, so regardless of what pride hall looks like he was just happy to be there, after all any school was better then no school
"Well it dosent seem to bad I guess" he said as he stepped in looking around though not talking to any of the children as he just got there however suddenly the children started to flee as the doors to the school opened with a loud slam as a tall thin swan demon with red eyes and pink eye shadow dressed in a buisness women attire of pink and white showing a sharp feeling that she has power as she carried a riding crop that speaks volumes of her power as she looked around as the kids all lined up as she walked passed them "You detention" she said to one student "You, your to small grow up quicker" she said as Stolas didnt want to be in the women's way as he quickly ran to find a hiding place as he managed to hide behind a old rusty ventilation shaft outside the building as he panted as there was a hole in the wall as he carefully peeked
"What are you doing here owl boy?" Said a little boy voice "Blitzo be nice" said a soft mature voice "we need to hide as well" said a voice similar to the mature voice but softer sounding as Stolas turned and saw a lithe serpent face imp with a heart shaped birthmark dressed in the school uniform, the other was a dough like creature with blue skin and a simple cute face and was chubby showing from how a bit of belly was peeking from the uniform, as well as a bit of orange and yellow on his hands "Sorry about that" said Stolas "Its fine much better then being out there" said the imp or Blitzo as Stolas peeked seeing the swan on the move "Is that my teacher?" Asked Stolas nervous "No that is the principal Miss Stella" said the Dough like creature "Oh before I forget, my name is Dohy and this is Blitzo" said the now named Dohy "Nice to meet you owl boy" said Blitzo "Its Stolas and thanks" said Stolas as a turtle like hellborn named Raphel (TMNT) came up to them "you two runts better skedaddle, I am not joking Stella isnt one to take nicely to freshmen like you" he said as the trio watched Stella barking orders.
"Well my name is Stolas" said Stolas "And I am Blitzo" said Blitzo "And mine is Dohy *Has a angery look* and I bet I can take her" he said in a growly voice "and mine is Raphael but call me Raph and you better not she maybe thin but she is tough" said Raph as Stolas peeks "She dosent really hit children with that riding crop does she?" Asked Stolas nervous "No its mostly for scaring, what he does is way worst, Stella makes weekly visits to each of the grades to see if the teachers are keeping up with teaching there kids and also show the teachers a thing or two about handling kids, and this one kid Jaden Yuki, a sweet boy bit of a ditz made a mistake eat ing some candy and Stella caught him…and he was thrown out the window" said Raph as Stolas and the others gasped "Was Jaden ok?" Asked Dohy in a little kids voice "after being tossed outside the window? Of course he wasnt *Cue gasps* he lived relax if that is what you meant, has strong hell-dragon blood in him" said Raph "I heard Stella used to be in the olympics, Shot-put, javelin, hammer throw" said Blitzo "the hammer throw was her specialty" said Dohy as Stolas looked at Stella "I find that hard to believe especially for a bird her size and weight class" said Stolas "Oh trust me, the dame may be lithe but she is insanely strong for her size" said Raph as Stolas was a bit nervous "And she does this all the time?" Asked Stolas worried.
"Making others miserable, yes, but its far better then being put in "The Chokey" said Raph solomly "What's the Chokey?" Asked Stolas curious and worried "A tall narrow hole in a wall behind a door, you have to stand in a drippy pipe with jagged edges and the walls have broken glass with nails sticking out" he said "That's terrible" said Stolas worried "I had been in it once…but then Stella told me to get out as I am immune to being poked" said Dohy "Well I was in there twice and sometimes she leaves you in there all day" said Raph "That's horrible and she puts kids in there, terrible, but what about your parents or guardians? Didnt you tell them" asked Stolas "Kid would your parents believe it?" Asked Blitzo "I tried and my adopted dad didnt believe me and he is a detective, mostly because it seemed so far fetched that it seems impossible to believe" said Dohy as Stolas hummed seeing that was Stellas plan to keep her cruelty hidden.
"Sixty lines after school! You must write "I must obey " *barging through out of my way!" She said as Stolas gasped "She's coming" he said nervous as Stella noticed Stolas and smirked "Ahh mmm…I smell fresh meat *Pushes Stolas and Blitzo out of the way with the riding crop* Velvette!" She said revealing a doll like sinner girl with twin pigtails of pink and black stripes as she shook like a leaf "Yes Miss Stella?" She asked "What are those?" She demanded referring to Velvets pigtails "what's what Miss Stella?" Asked Velvette confused "You know what, hanging down by your ears" she said "You mean my pigtails?" Said Velvette touching them "Are you a pig?" Said Stella "no Miss Stella" said Velvette a bit nervous "Do I allow pigs in my school?" She said as poor Velvette looked ready to cry "My daddies think they're sweet" she said "Your dads are both twits! *Motioning with her riding crop* you will chop those off before school tommorow or I'll…" Started Stella "But I don't…: stumbled Velvette as Stella glared 'But? Did you just say "But?" She demanded "*Whispering* Hammer throw" said Ralph confusing Stolas "*Whispers* what?" He asked as Blitzo and Dohy nodded "Defintily" they said in unison "*Grabs Velvette by her pigtails* I'll give you a "But!" She yelled as she picks her up and then swings her around and around by her pigtails amazing for her size and weight.
Faster and faster she spinned her until she felt good and ready she released her " Good loft. Excellent release./Think she's gonna make the fence? /Gonna be a close one" the students all mumbled as Velvete flew over a spiked fence and into the flower bed as she scoops some up as she held it up high causing all the students to cheer in amazement and awe and gossip speak as Stella barked annoyed "Quiet all of you! Get to class before I throw you lot in the choker" she barked as she entered the school as the children obeyed as Stolas followed his two new freinds "Blitzo, Dohey what is my teacher like?" He asked curious
Narator: Stoals teacher, Arabella 'Bella' shine was one of those remarkable people who appreciates every single child for who he or she is
It goes into a classroom showing the teacher Bella shine, a fair skinned petite humanoid with brown eyes and long brown/blonde hair however she wasn't a human as she had fox like ears and 4 green fox like tails dressed in a green and black kimono with blue stars and yellow vine like markings and was barefooted. This was Bella as Velvette held up the flowers, her usual pigtails now long hair "I scooped these up for you Miss shine" she said as Bella smiled "Thank you Velvette how lovely" she said as she got a glass of water to put them in as she adressed her class. "Alright now, listen up everyone, we have a new student with us today *Guestures to Stolas who was shy* this is Stolas Chen-Rossi, I'd like you to sit over here with Dohy and Blitzo *Stolas smiled at the two as he sat with them* now remember how scary your first days at school were so I'd like you to be especially nice to Stolas and make sure he feels welcome *To Blitzo and Dohy* could either of you get him a workbook for him please? You can sit down now" said Bella as Blitzo ran to get a work book and shared it with Stolas who smiled with thanks as Bella smiled seeing the sweet owlet.
Narator: Bella was a wonderful teacher and a kind freind to everyone, even taking in a little impling after he lost his parents, but his life isnt as simple and beautiful as it seems, she held a deep dark secret and even though it caused great pain, it didnt interfere at all wit her teaching
"Well now Stolas you've come on a very good day, because we're going to review everything we've learned so far, no dont get discouraged if you dont know or understand any of this, because you're brand new, but if you know an answer just raise your hands to ask" said Bella as she got a few papers "Okay now we've been working on our two-times tables, would anyone like to demonstrate?" Asked Bella as they all raised there hands.
"Okay lets to some together Two times four is…(Students: 8) two times six is (Students: 12) two times nine is (Student: 18) excellent excellent you've been practicing good for all of you, soon you'll be able to do any multiplication whiter its two times 7 (Students: 14) very good very good or 13 times 379" said Bella as Stolas spoke up "Four thousand nine hundred and twenty seven" he said but blushed looking down as Bella and the students stared at him as Bella as surprised "Run that by me again?!" She said confused "I I think that's the answer 13 times 379 is 4927" he said as Bella sits down and checks Stolas math "as a matter of fact it is! *To stolas* you know how to multiply big numbers?" Asked Bella as Stolas humbly replied "I read this book last year in mathematics at the library" he said politely.
"Oh you like to read?" Asked Bella as Stolas smiled "Liked? I love to read" he said amazing Bella "Wow, what do you like to read?" Asked Bella curious "Everything, but lately I've been reading Darles chickens *blushes and corrects himself* ooops I mean Charles dickens, I could read him every day" he said as Bella softly smiles "Wow, so could I *Speaks to the class* all right everyone take out your workbooks, lets start with section three, I'll be back in a moment" she said as she left as Blitzo studied a shy Stolas as he grinned "So your a real brain are you?" Said Blitzo as Dohys seem to got red marks as he got a mischievous look as Stolas got shy cutely.
It then goes into the principal office as is throwing a handful of darts at pictures on the dartboard on the back of her door "Yippee gotcha right there in the neck And you…" she started as there was a knock on the door as she puts away the darts "Come in come in, whoever you are, almost got ya" she said as Bella opens the door and steps in "Ah Bella good, good good, time for one of our little heart to hearts?" She said as Bella took a calming breath as she looked at the swan "Actually its about the new Male Owl demon in my class Stolas" said Bella as Stellas red eyes bore into Bellas brown "His father said he is a real wart *Pours a glass of water* a carbuncle, a blister, a spoiled brat and a slimy ooze, *Scoffs* might as well be a butt money" said Stella "Oh no Stolas Chen-Rossi is a really sweet boy, and very bright" said Bella as Stella studied the fox "A bright child?" She asked as Bella nodded "Yup he can multiply large sums in his head" said Bella "*Scoffs* so can a calculator" said Stella not believing such a child can multiple in there head without a tool "well, dont you think he will be happier in a older more advanced class?" Said Bella as she sees that Stolas can properly meet his full potential of learning if he was in the more upper classes
Stella then pointed at Bella with a "Ahah" look on her face "Ahah I knew it you cant handle the little pest so your trying to foist him off onto one of the other teachers, typical slothful cowardliness *Firmly to Bella* listen up Bella *Picks up a shot put ball and throws it at the door as Bella side steps it* the distance the shot-put goes depends upon the effort you put into it PerspiratioN! If you can handle the little brat I'll lock him up in the choker! Get it? *Bella sadly nodds* good girl, one day Bell you'll see that everything I do is for your own good…and the good of those putrescent little children" she said as Bella with a final nod walked out
Authors note: cruelness that is Stella who is the principal and has a firm grasp of fear on the student body
Next chapter Bella visits Stolas home and learns the extent of stupidity of the Chen-Rossi family and when Stellas cake was stolen she makes Dohy eat a fresh cake as a punishment…a weird punishment that is.
