The hidden estate near Hogsmeade was cloaked in layers of protective enchantments, but they weren't enough to keep out a team of demigods and some of the most skilled wizards of their generation.
"Subtlety or brute force?" Leo asked, already lighting a small flame in his palm.
"I vote brute force," Jason said, summoning the winds around him.
Hermione sighed but didn't argue. "Just make sure we don't bring the whole place down."
Annabeth studied the barrier. "There's a weak spot here. If we strike at the same time—"
Before she could finish, Reyna, Thalia, and Frank had already acted. A burst of lightning, celestial bronze, and raw strength shattered the enchantments like glass. The air rippled as the protections collapsed.
A shriek echoed from inside.
They stormed the estate. The interior was decorated in the same awful pink and lace aesthetic Umbridge was known for, but the real horror was the walls—lined with stolen magical artifacts, documents, and even a few dark objects humming with cursed energy.
And at the far end of the room—
Dolores Umbridge stood, wand raised, eyes wide with terror.
"You!" she spat, stepping back. "You have no right—"
"Save it," Piper cut in, her charmspeak laced with cold fury. "We're done listening to you."
Umbridge's face twisted with rage. "The Ministry will—"
"The Ministry is finished with you," Harry interrupted, stepping forward with Ron and Hermione at his side. "There's no power left for you to steal."
Umbridge's wand trembled. "I won't let you—"
Percy moved first. In a flash, Riptide was at her throat. "This is over."
She tried to cast a spell, but Annabeth had already disarmed her. Jason called a gust of wind that sent her sprawling to the floor.
Nico stepped forward, shadows swirling around him. His voice was cold, final. "Time for you to answer for everything."
Umbridge screamed as the darkness wrapped around her.
The fight was over before it even began.
As the shadows dragged her down, Umbridge screeched, "You can't do this! I am the law!"
Reyna leaned down, her voice dripping with disdain. "Not anymore."
And with that, Dolores Umbridge vanished into the void.
For good.
