A/N: ...hey.

I managed to squeeze out this teaser for Embrace My Curse. Please let me know what you think; I'm having a bit of a mental breakdown today.

Now I'm off to get my car fixed, prayer it isn't the transmission. It better not be.

My sister is recovering from surgery, she appreciates your well wishes.

So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others.

As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes. Not a wit or one. They're tributes, one and all.

I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world, one word at a time.

Time and feedback will determine if this remains a story. Simple as that.

In other words...its up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!

SPOILERS AHEAD. Read if you dare!

Here we go!

"We need to get you a wife. Or wives, preferably."

"Ozpin, no. No, no, no. No way."

"Ozpin, yes!"

Accursed Knowledge

"So this is Mistral, then?"

"Indeed." Naruto fought down a furious wince as Ozpin's voice hummed happily in the back of his head; still took some getting used to, that. "Magnificent, isn't it?"

Not quite the word he'd use.

That said, it was certainly...something.

He considered the sprawling cityscape surrounding him with a keen eye; from its many ascending levels, the rising elevators, humid falls, and the constant chatter of the market in the air. It was enough to make a man reel. There were just so many people here, some of which gave him the occasional side-eye, but none dared draw a weapon on him. That alone made this place civilized in a way the Branwen Tribe could never be. With so much to SEE and do, he found damn near found himself overwhelmed outright.

"Get your dust here! Freshly cut!"

"Weapons for sale!"

"Cabbages!"

Okay, scratch that. Definitely overwhelmed. His head was spinning.

Ozpin took pity on him. "No need to sound so surprised. Our worlds are quite different. I daresay you've never seen a city like this before. But beware. Mistral is a hive of scum and villainy. Let your guard down here and you'll be taken for a ride that may well end your life.

"We could clear them out before we leave."

Ozpin paused. Considered."That...rather sounds like fun. Just like the old days."

"Speaking of fun, how do you think Summer will appreciate the present we left her?"

Kurama laughed first and this time, the old wizard made no effort to to mask his mirth, none whatsoever. "I daresay she will...

THUD.

Someone knocked on her door.

Sumer was armed and ready for it this time.

Of course it helped that it was midday for one, not bloody midnight, and she wasn't distracted by looking after her girls, sleep or making sweet, sweet love to her husband.

Didn't do anything for her mood, however.

She flung it open with a snarl. "Ozpin I swear to the BROTHER GODS- Raven?!

For Raven it was indeed, her old teammate awaited her at her doorstep bound and gagged, hog tied like some proverbial pig ripe for the feast. They'd even gone so far as to plug up her mouth with a juicy red apple for goo measure. Despite that, her eyed red eyes managed to fully convey the breadth of her terror.

And well she should be afraid, for a smile split Summer's face.

Beaming, she turned and hallooed back into the house.

"Oh, Yang! Mommy has a present for you!"

A/N: We'll cut it here. Don't wanna spoil too much.

Would you like an update next week? Do let me know! We'll be picking up the pace soon, but with the notifications down, I really need to hear from you here.

RWBY may have been canned by Warner Bros. but we fanfiction writers are out here trying to keep the light alive, as it were. So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others.

So by all means, speak up! Raise your voice! Make yourself heard! Your reviews matter!

That's no joke! I can't write without feedback. Guess that makes me weak...T_T
