Earlier in U.A. Academy...

Adrien stretched after finishing classes with AllMight. Him and Chloe sat in an empty classroom, feeling pretty good about the notes they took and test that they just finished. Something about it made Adrien feel better about how things turned out. Summer camp may not have been the best, but he was glad that he went through it. He felt his stomach growling, and he got up to go to the cafeteria.

Chloe looked pretty tired already from the test as she grabbed her backpack.

"Wow. That test was easier than I expected," Chloe said to him, "I swear this school's gets tougher only with the hero training."

"That's because you're studying all the time," Adrien said back, "You seem to know what you're doing. I've gotta admit Chloe, I'm impressed with your grades. I'd say you're doing way better here than in Collège Françoise Dupont."

Chloe felt a blush form across her face as they walked out of the classroom.

"You really think so?" Chloe said back, "Because I think that I could be doing better."

"Don't sell yourself short. Don't forget, you're used to Sabrina doing a lot of the work for you," Adrien said back, "If anything, this is the most work you've done all year."

"Hey! Sabrina was only doing my homework for half a year!" Chloe exclaimed to him.

Adrien noticed her stop and realized what she said to him. She looked embarrassed and looked down at the floor. She looked proud of herself that she was even here at all. She only had Adrien from Collège Françoise Dupont, no one else. Sabrina wasn't even here to boss around, which made her feel bad for even treating her like that.

"Maybe I should call Sabrina and apologize for treating her like that," Chloe said to him, "Doing homework for two people sounds really exhausting now that I'm doing my own."

Adrien couldn't help but smile at her, feeling proud of her.

"Yeah. You should do that," Adrien said to her, "I'm sure that she would love to hear from you as well."

Adrien and Chloe headed out of the classroom and soon spotted Class 2-A coming out of theirs. Chloe's eyes lit up when she saw Bakugo, and she walked over to him and give him a side hug. Something about seeing them happy together made Adrien miss Marinette even more. He was tempted to call her during lunch, but knew that he would get in trouble. He watched Chloe and Bakugo walking together, and they looked like they were really enjoying it.

He was happy for her at least that she finally had someone to lean on.

Then he spotted Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida walking out of the classroom.

"Hey guys! Can I join you for lunch?" Adrien asked them.

Before they could say anything, some girl with dark indigo hair and red streaks came walking out of their classroom. It caught completely off guard since he'd never see her before. He noticed her blue eyes and something about her just instantly reminded him of Marinette. Even hair was similar to hers, which made him a little flustered. Adrien for a moment was speechless seeing a new girl in their classroom. Then she spotted Adrien, and her eyes sparkled.

"Oh my gosh! Aren't you Adrien Agreste?" Skylar exclaimed, "The famous fashion model?!"

Adrien was thrown off by this girl knowing who he is since she's from Japan. He thought that maybe someone told her about him being a fashion model.

"U-Umm... Yeah, I am," Adrien said back, "B-But how do you--"

"I'm such a fan of yours!" Skylar exclaimed to him, "I had no idea that you'd be going here!"

"Ye-Yeah... I didn't think I'd be doing this either..." Adrien said, and then looked at his friends for help.

They confused as to how they knew him, which confused Adrien even more. Skylar was a little close to him, which made Adrien a little flustered to be this close to her. She looked like her and Marinette could be cousins just based on appearances. She backed off a little, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Sorry about that. I'm just so excited to be here!" Skylar exclaimed to them, "First I get to meet Izuku Midoriya, and now a famous fashion model?! It's pretty amazing here already!"

They all just stood there, and Adrien looked at Midoriya with a confused look. He looked just as confused as him as they headed over to the cafeteria. She smiled the whole way there, and everyone didn't know what to say to her. She wasn't awkward about it however as she looked around the school.

"So Skylar..." Iida said, trying to make conversation, "Where are you from? You're clearly not from Japan by the looks of it."

"No. I'm not!" Skylar exclaimed out of no where, "I just moved here from Paris, actually. Me and my dad moved here so that I could finally go to U.A.! He even recommended me himself!"

Everyone froze in place and looked at each other for a moment. Adrien was speechless since she somehow knew about him. He didn't understand how this was even possible. She's from Paris, but not his Paris and yet she knew about him. Things were already not adding up.

"Wait, you're from Paris?" Adrien pointed out, "How do you know about me then if you're from Paris?"

Skylar stopped in her tracks as if she had said the wrong thing to them. Adrien didn't understand how she could even know about him being a fashion model. She turned around to face them, but seemed a little embarrassed.

"What do you mean? You're from Paris too. Are you not?" Skylar asked back, "Unless, there's something else you're not telling me."

Everyone got nervous and realized that no one else knew about another Paris or another Japan. They were trying to keep this portal under wraps so no villains find out about it. Adrien felt like they were stumped, but then Skylar waved it off like it was nothing.

"Don't worry about it. It's not like you're from another dimension, right? That'd be crazy!" Skylar exclaimed.

Adrien laughed nervously as he scratched the back of his head. Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida felt like they their heads hurt just from talking to her. They all headed towards the cafeteria as Skylar ran ahead. They were watching her closely, especially Adrien and Midoriya. Something about her seemed already settled down here even though this was her first class. She looked around like she had never seen such a huge school before.

"Izuku. What's with this girl?" Adrien asked him, "She's kind of..."

"A little loud?" Uraraka finished for him, "She wouldn't stop staring at Izuku the whole class."

"Just give her a break. She's never been here before," Midoriya said back, "Clearly she's seen us during the Sports Festival."

"But that doesn't make any sense," Iida explained to them, "If she knows Adrien somehow, then she shouldn't knoww anything about the Sports Festival."

"Unless she watched Class 2-A perform over four months," Midoriya explained to them, "Don't forget that we just had the Sports Festival not that long ago. Adrien and Chloe were there as well."

"You're right. I'm so used to people coming up to me, being fans of our first year Sports Festival," Uraraka said to them, "She must be a fan of us because of that. That's the only way she'd know about Adrien."

"Yeah, but what the--"

"Hey guys! Let's get going! I'm starving here," Skylar said to them.

They stopped talking and soon headed into the cafeteria. Skylar seemed so in awe with everything she saw, even the people with unique quirks. Something about seemed like she didn't know where she was at this point. Midoriya and Adrien helped her out and showed her how to pick a meal for lunch. Skylar soon grabbed a french onion soup, garlic bread, a fruit cup, and a water bottle. Her lunch seemed different from everyone else's. Adrien could tell that she wasn't from Japan.

They all soon grabbed their lunch and headed towards their usual table. Adrien has been sitting with Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida ever since Marinette left. He knew that they liked having him around, but now they had a new classmate. Something about it felt weird, especially since she reminded him of Marinette. The way she stood tall was a little different compared to how she is in school, but she had a confidence to her similar to Ladybug.

They all sat down with Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, and they were surprised to see Skylar with them.

"Hey! I'm Skylar it's nice to finally meet you two!" Skylar exclaimed, catching a few classmates's attention.

Yaoyorozu and Todoroki were a little thrown off by her sudden out burst. She soon sat down with everyone else, and Skylar ended up sitting next to Adrien and Midoriya with Uraraka beside Midoriya as well. Something about it felt weird to Adrien to having Skylar sit where Marinette used to. Something about it didn't feel right.

Skylar soon ate her french onion soup, and her eyes lit up.

"Wow! Your school makes the best french onion soup!" Skylar commented on it.

"So... Skylar, where are you from exactly?" Yaoyorozu asked her.

"Apparently she's from--"

"I'm from Paris! It's so beautiful there," Skylar interrupted Midoriya, "Have you guys ever been there? It's pretty amazing! I know Adrien's been there, but that seems obvious since he is a fashion model over there."

No one even knew what to say to her. She kept going and going and even Midoriya is a little thrown by her chipper attitude. Adrien could tell that Midoriya was not sure how to handle her.

"N-No. We've never been there," Yaoyorozu said, trying to keep things under wraps, "But I'd love to someday."

"It's pretty amazing over too," Skylar said to them, "The views are pretty amazing during autumn. I really wish that we could leave the campus though just to go shopping."

"Yeah. Mr. Aizawa won't allow us to go out unless you get permission," Midoriya explained to her, "You're gonna need to go with someone as well just for safety reasons."

"Really? That stinks," Skylar said as she poked her french onion soup with spoon, "I really wanted to go shopping with you guys. I've never gotten to do anything like that since I got here."

Adrien and everyone else shared a look and could tell that everyone was wondering what to say to her. She was so outgoing that something about her seemed off. Or at least, that's how Adrien felt. He felt like something was bothering him about her. Then he spotted her bracelet and wondered what it was. It looked like something that he should know about for some reason.

"Your bracelet. It's look like it's something special to you," Adrien said to her as he took a sip of his water.

Skylar looked at it and smiled widely. Something about it seemed make her feel better.

"Yeah. It is," Skylar said to him.

Adrien noticed that it had a blue crystal in the middle of it.

Something about it gave him a feeling that he didn't want to know what it was.

In the shadows...

It had been six months since the doctor found out U.A. and their weird connection to these Miraculous. Whatever they were, he finally got a way to find out more about them. He finally had his chance to get into their wifi and will soon find out what's going on with them. Something was going with this school, and he was determined to find out what it was. They were clearly hiding something from Japan.

He kept typing, trying to find a way through this barrier into the school. Information was getting out, but there was still a password and barriers that were stopping him from getting access to all sorts of files and information. He wanted to know what was going on, especially after happened with the League of Villains. Nothing went right for them, and soon it all fell apart. Most of them were even arrested and left him alone with only his Nomus.

Containers were filled up with them, ready to be sent out to grab anything he can get his hands on. But not yet. He couldn't risk it with U.A. and pro heroes looking for him. He had figure out what was going on with U.A. first. There were things about Miraculous and soon realized that how powerful they were. These jewels were clearly more powerful than he realized at first.

Whatever they were, he knew that U.A. was hiding them from everyone. He had to know what they were and what they were capable of. Something about them seemed like something that he was looking for. He even found something along the way during this investigation that would help him get through to U.A.

Something that even he wasn't expecting.

He knew that things would soon be unlocked, and he could finally find what he was looking for. It was only a matter of time before he could finally get what he was looking for. He was this close to figuring it out. The barriers may have tough to break through, but he knew that it wouldn't be up for much longer.

His smile widened, knowing full well what was going on over there.

"U.A., whatever you're hiding... I will find out what it is soon enough... It's only a matter of time before things come unraveled..."

In U.A. Academy...

Midoriya soon stretched, feeling like he was ready for hero training. For a moment, he forgot about Skylar as she got up to see him ready to grab his hero costume. He blushed, realizing that he was stretching over her desk. She laughed, which just made him even more uncomfortable around her.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you," Skylar said to him, "You just seem pretty tired for someone that's about to do some hero training."

"N-No. I'm fine," Midoriya said to her, "I'm just trying to get ready. Hero training can be pretty tough if you don't know what you're doing."

"Really? Well... Maybe you can help me," Skylar said to him, "I'm not used to using my quirk all the time. Especially in front so many people."

Midoriya was surprised that she suddenly shy and nervous about using her quirk. Come to think of it, she never once mentioned what her quirk was. He looked at her bracelet and wondered if it had anything to do with it. He shook it off, but was still curious about what her quirk was.

"Don't worry about it," Midoriya said to her, "You should be fine. Everyone will be busy hero training anyway. Although Mr. Aizawa might wanna see what you're quirk is capable of doing."

Skylar looked nervous, and Midoriya was surprised to see her acting this way. He stood up and faced her, ready to help a new friend.

"Skylar. I know that this place can seem a bit intimidating, but once you get used to it, it'll soon feel like a family," Midoriya said to her, "Just, don't be so hard on yourself at first. This is your first time being here. We don't usually get anyone recommended so late. If you're that good, then clearly U.A. sees some potential with you."

Skylar smiled, and Midoriya suddenly found himself being hugged by her. Something about her hug however felt stronger than it should've been. He wasn't expecting that at all, and it caught everyone's attention. His face turned bright red, and he tried to get out of her embrace.

"U-Umm... S-Skylar," Midoriya said, feeling really flustered, "E-Everyone's watching us."

"Oh! Sorry about that," Skylar said to him as she let go, "I'm kind of a hugger."

Midoriya tried to wave it off, but he still felt warm around his face. They all soon left the classroom with their hero costumes in their cases. After getting dressed in their changing rooms, Midoriya wondered how things might go with Skylar. She clearly had a unique quirk of some kind or else U.A. wouldn't have allowed her to be going here so late. When she hugged him, he felt like she was naturally pretty strong. He shook it off once he felt warm around the face.

Soon enough, they were all heading over to Gym Gamma. Skylar was so talkative with all of the girls, especially Ashido. Since her hero costume wasn't ready, she was wearing her gym uniform for now. Something about her seemed to get along so quickly with almost everyone around her. Some of them were trying to avoid her, but he couldn't blame them. She was new after all, and no one knew her that well.

Once the entered Gym Gamma, Mr. Aizawa and AllMight were there to help hero train. Cat Noir and Queen Bee were standing with their class, ready to start. But then Mr. Aizawa looked at Skylar, which got Midoriya's attention. She seemed a little nervous around him and hid behind Midoriya. Everyone was surprised to see her nervous after talking for so long.

"Skylar Garnier. Since you're new here, why don't we see what your quirk is," Mr. Aizawa said to her.

Skylar hesitated to go up to him, but Midoriya gave her a smile. She looked at Cat Noir, and even he gave her a confident smile. She tried to stand tall and walked over to him. She faced everyone, ready to show them her quirk.

Midoriya was curious as to what it could possibly be. Something about her seemed like someone that you shouldn't underestimate.

"I'm Skylar Garnier and my quirk is Power Absorption," Skylar said to her classmates.

Skylar took a deep breath in and out as she got ready. Her blue eyes looked like they were glowing, which caught his attention. She got into a stance and got her fist ready to throw a punch. Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, noticing what she was about to do. Before he knew it, she threw a punch at right the ground as she let out a cry.

Suddenly, she caused the whole ground to rumble and form a ripple effect all around them. Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, seeing her do something this strong and powerful. It almost felt like something that he could pull off himself. Everyone seemed just as shocked as him, seeing this girl be just as strong as him.

Soon enough, the ground soon settled down as everyone looked at her. They were speechless as they looked at her and then Midoriya, noticing the similarities. Midoriya couldn't look away as her eyes stopped glowing. He could swear that her bracelet with the crystal was glowing as well for some reason.

No one spoke as Midoriya stared at her unbelievable strength. Even AllMight was shocked to witness something so similar to One for All.

Midoriya had competition that he wasn't expecting.

I am kind of enjoying Skylar way too much already! I love how outgoing and fun she is. I like her energy and how she's already excited to be there! I just wanted a chapter where it's more about Midoriya and Adrien! I'll get back to Marinette, Alya and Ember later! I'm enjoying this already, and I can't wait to see how it turns out later! Also, I wanted Skylar's quirk to be similar to Midoriya's but still different. You'll see what I mean later. But for now, it looks like Midoriya has competition! It seems like there's more going on with the doctor from the previous story... I wonder what he's up to...

Things will come together later on in the story!
