"So how are the Twin Terrors of Gryffindor planning to spend their time no longer shackled to the drudgery of mandatory education with the highlights of hand cramping essays and occasional nights and weekends consumed with detentions?" Harry asked as he stepped out near the Weasleys after having said his peace with the Bones ladies and Hannah as the students were congregating nearer to the barrier to head out into King's Cross proper. "You are probably going to drive these lovely hard working to keep you out of trouble and on the path to success parents to distraction. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintances, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, I am Harry Potter."
His slightly calculated smile was about as real as a sharks grin while he scanned his predatory eyes over the Twins relations. He found those two tolerable and their pranks were thankfully far less malicious than they could be even if the school was not as volatile as it was when his parents had been there. The more humiliating pranks of that era made sense to him when viewed in what Hermione considered a political protest against the rise of accommodators if not outright Death Eater trainees. The Marauders were not humiliating just Slytherins per se, but their targets were the vocal in their leanings members of that house while their general pranks were to lighten the gloom of the times.
Even the targeting of Snape was more than just the former friend and later stalker of his mother about his connections and ties into the volatile junior Death Eaters of that time. Harry had been trying to decide who deserved to be the one to finish the self-deluded fool off for all time because Snape actually saw himself as better than his father when he sunk to an even lower level in his petty vengeance, but Harry had seen that the man thought of himself in an unquestionable superiority. Severus Snape was a petty bully and responded in kind so Harry felt no sympathy for the man and his actions had consequences of which Dumbledore had seemed far too accommodating to instill into the fool that he was washed of his culpability.
Even as these models of lower class pureblood light magic users missed the sinister and calculative thoughts in his eyes, Harry was in part contemplating who deserved to be the one to draw out the first of the betrayers who had sent him to his hell. Would the light matron suddenly fretting over him come as close if she knew he was planning to violate the very order of life and restore his beloved mother to life regardless of how many sacrifices were to be made and that a great part of his being wished to offer her personal betrayer to she who gave him birth to settle the sin against her.
'Probably not,' Harry thought as he stiffened as the plump and somewhat disturbingly jiggling mother seemed to try to suffocate him like Marge Dursley did her precious dogs. 'Still this is rather unpleasant, but I don't want to cause more of a scene or sour things with the twins. As for Percival and Weasel Boy, I probably wouldn't walk over to piss on them if they were on fire even if those wicked girls of mine would do it if they thought he would drown from it. Considering what Penny told me, I think that a very traumatic and drawn out finish is what Percival deserves. Ronald is about as bright as a severely brain damaged puppy with the attention span off his namesake. The only difference I see with the brat and the Malfoy one is that one has money while the other stews in his jealousy of everyone.'
His eyes looked around and noticed the somewhat shy girl even if he knew she was normally not except in regards to his own mythos. Frankly, from what he felt of the disgusting shape Molly was pressing into him, Harry had best find a way to keep the creepy stalker girl away regardless of how it might alienate the twins. What he had seen in her eyes disturbed him, and Harry was grateful that his circle of friends had increased. Alice was far more sadistic than Hermione so far, but he didn't doubt the two ladies wouldn't stomp any unwelcomed girl trying to worm her way into things. The girl was definitely obsessed and he didn't doubt that the Weasley girl would force the hat to sort her wherever he was. Sure, she could possibly be cleaned up, but her mind raised his hackles up from here.
That domineering I know best feeling he was getting from Molly was echoed in Ginny if he recalled correctly. He didn't want to even pick up more than the surface impression that came from either of them. The one problem he realized that his particular manner of training to protect and safeguard his mind had was that passive Legilimency would someday become an inevitability and picking up on some of the momentary thoughts and feelings of groupies was not something he wanted to contemplate. He had enough attention from his girls as it was without some Johnny-come-lately trying to worm her way into his group. He likely would be propositioned by his employees as it was and that was without the ones happily satisfying their own lusts in adult entertainment.
Unlike Amelia, he would prefer to be in a full combat gear before this smothering and skin was not supposed to undulate like that right there was doing. Fred and George would never half to worry about him touching her with a ten-foot pole let alone one with any sort of toy on the end. The smothering unfortunately was giving him damn near close to Snape or worse Dumbledore's mind eyeing violations, and Harry started to realize that while being somewhat sociable that he might have to start wearing gloves at this rate. The woman if he called it that had issues and if the rather disgusting plans were any indication she had potion fed her husband to get him, and she had likely botched doing so with his and Neville's fathers. If she molded what could have been a tolerable girl in her image, Harry would have no qualms in letting Alice or even Anne play with her without restraint. The only thing that would possibly be worse was if the girl got impressed or fixated on a younger Voldemort.
His whole time he was resisting his instincts screaming at him to incinerate the twisted cow and feed her to some goblins. If he didn't think such a disturbing body would possible even give Kiki or the other companions indigestion, he likely would see about an immediate accident. Now tolerating her while visiting the twins would be a pain, but he had promised so there was no choice. Making nice to the cow and not letting her be mauled or worse was something he would just have to handle for the time being.
"We are doing alright, Harry," the twins alternated saying. "We can't say the same for you, right now. Oh. Mum let him breath!"
"Really boys, can't you see that he needed a good hug?" Molly said as she reluctantly let the boy go wondering why he hadn't responded properly to her ministrations. "The boys have said some good things about you, although Ronald has some concerns."
"I think Ronald was a bit put off with my not sorting Gryffindor and choosing to Ravenclaw," Harry said as he brushed his clothes off and almost wanted to whimper at the way her hug made his body act like a turtle and he was grateful that his weapons hadn't either activated or been discovered during that disgusting violation. "He does not really have a good opinion of people that study it seems. Didn't he finish dead last or was that Crabbe and Goyle with Ronald having either a slightly lower or a maybe higher score. I really can't remember since I didn't pay much attention except knowing that my friends all out performed that rival of his, Draco Malfoy I believe."
"Yes, its true poor Ronnikins was either at or even below those two in standings," the twins answered with a look of disgust even if they didn't take their own studying seriously. "We had expected our dear mum here to have sent a howler before the end of the year. Alas, those three thankfully were not kept back a year or things would really be dire."
"Hey, why are you taking that bookworms side," Ronald stupidly drew attention to himself by saying. "I had important things to do!"
"You mean you were skiving off and not even doing the bare minimum to keep mum from grounding you for the summer," The twins said scoffing at each other with disappointment at the disappointment that Ronald had become as even if they were trouble makers and neglected their studies they knew what level of real results they needed to limit the real lectures from what they could live with having to hear. "We may not take things that seriously since we think people should loosen up some and enjoy things, but we do well enough to stay on the team. We may be jokers but considering we enjoy it we might as well try for it."
"Right, that makes sense now that I think about it," Harry said with a thoughtful look as he regarded them and pondered what they might be able to do when they actually tried to do things. "Let me guess that you will get the OWL and NEWTS that best help you develop things, and you will likely try to sell some things before you graduate. Doing something you enjoy is more fulfilling than going after something that merely provides a decent wage. Unfortunately, I can guess that your mother here has other plans, and thinks it should be something respectable and boring that would drive you to misery if you were so entrapped."
"Perhaps it would be worth it not so ickle Harry," the twins said with dutiful nods as their friend even if he was a claw had a point. "Nothing against dear old dad, but we don't want to work somewhere where we return from work looking so unfulfilled at the end of the day. We kind of doubt that dad wants to work in that department, but it does provide for the family; now we can respect that even if Ronnikins has gotten into a rather Percival like behavior without the skills or discipline to pull it off."
"I see well that makes sense, and there are some things we will have to speak about. You did remember to ask your mother, didn't you?" Harry suddenly questioned while looking the two pranksters over. "While a good laugh is all right, I doubt that forgetting to ask such important things would not upset a properly concerned mother."
It had taken a bit not to turn that last bit to say smother, but Harry had just managed it since he wanted to seriously know if things were on track. The twins were a good investment and they deserved better even if he sometimes thought there jokes might go a little too far or off color enough. It had taken a bit of effort, but they had even understood that pranking Neville would not help him out of his shell as they had originally thought since they had believed it would help. Now at least Neville was not a target, but just a usual collateral prank when it did happen. His natural inclination in Herbology would help them with their potions and as odd as it seemed the plant based ingredients seemed more potent in a potion when Neville brewed. It had taken Hermione and him a while to discover this as dragging a shy Gryffindor to an unused classroom to brew things was a bit difficult, but while paying very close attention they had noticed the difference. Now Neville could brew adequately without Snape breathing down his neck, and they had another side project in how a brewers magic could affect potions.
Pondering these things while the Twins moved over and switched between talking with Molly Weasley to ensure that 'No, this was not a prank,' and they were serious that Harry Potter wondered about spending a week with a magical family in a magical home as well as it being their home in question. Neville would be able to spread out there brewing if they could figure out how he influenced things, and the female brewers would likely find him cute even if shy. Harry knew it was a sexist and uncultured thing to state, but getting Neville some pipe cleaning would help his attitude and get him out of the shell the events had helped foster in his life. Unfortunately getting the boy away from his well meaning Gran would be an effort, but even if it was practically unfeasible this summer there was the next or at least before his Yule when they could go to Hogsmeade officially.
If he could get his somewhat friend to be as good with his hands with girls as plants than his confidence would rise, and he doubted the Surrey girls wouldn't give a tug or suck to any helper considering they were very precocious. Harry wondered how Neville would act with the added stress relief and if the eyes of the hungry little stalker were any indication reorient the somewhat plain girl in his direction. It was a cruel thing, but the better one looked the worse one tended to be in pleasuring another. If the money and fame seeking fan girl was too busy draining his assistant than he would have no worries although she might if rumors of Molly's actions sneak into where he was sleeping and try to suck her way into some improvements.
The woman may have been a good actor, but he didn't doubt the girl had been conditioned without her suspecting it and the Potter fortune was a very tempting thing even with how low the suspected amount to the real amount was. The arranged marriages while falling out of favor could still happen, and he had little doubt that Molly had put some disturbing thoughts into her growing mind. Having Ginevra no longer play with her childhood friend Luna Lovegood by what he had managed to pick up, was not a good thing, and not just because it pointed out that Ronald was a self-centered jackass even younger than he had thought. He had even been the one to saddle her with the nickname Loony after her mother's death.
Harry had little doubt that if Luna and Ann were in the same house they would not be friends. Considering the facts as well as rumors, the girl could use a friend even if he had no disinclination that Ann would help Luna first out of her shell and defenses before eventually her clothes and what little taboos she still has. He hoped that Ann would take a good while with that, as even if girl play was not technically age defined, Harry really wasn't ready for what crazy ideas those two would have. Hermione was thankfully open minded enough not to judge her by her image. He had little doubt that those four together would become a very strange yet energized gestalt when it came to ideas. Unfortunately, Harry accepted that his Surrey girls seemed to view him as the best choice for transitioning with a boy, and while the more precocious ones had others that at least after tonight, he would have at least one or two in rotation as thanks and appreciation among other things.
"Harry, dear, the twins should have told you that it would have been more believable and proper if you had sent a letter. I am sorry for not believing them, but they can be quite the troublemakers," Molly said while smiling fondly at him and trying not to drool at the thought of his gold freeing her from the lackluster finances Arthur had settled them into currently which left her with only her children to climb up with and Charlie and William had already ran away from her control with Ginevra as a good asset to get into a well off family. "Of course you can stay, and let me say that it is wonderful that the boys will have such a well mannered and respectable young man around them. So as a Ravenclaw and from the serious way you mentioned studying I take it that you are near the top of your year."
"Tied for the top with my childhood best friend and fellow potion experimenter among other things," Harry said while trying not to mention that their grades equaled if not surpassed a notable one from half a century ago who had been the first to outperform the recent legendaries such as Dumbledore and some of the staffs own scores. "The rest of my study mates finished near the top ten if not in it for our year. I take it you would like me to show that studying is important to your other boys. Well it is not as difficult as you think. For the twins you need to make it have fun and practical uses and they learn it easily then. I will admit that they learn better by experiencing and experimenting than they do from books, but not everyone learns the same or as well with one method than another."
Waiting to see if she was actually hearing him as Harry would prefer not to waste his time and knowledge or wisdom being imparted, he saw that she was actually hearing and not listening to him so maybe some of this would sink in or he would have to wonder how to break it to the twins that like Percival would eventually experience, Ronald died a very painful and humiliating death. It was unfortunate that he was uncertain he could effectively remove Percival before he graduated, but the best option would have been his bumbling into the gauntlet that Nick had torn through with ease. Even the Cerberus would have been a surprise that could have disposed of the nuisance; however, Harry had managed to maintain that people could change up to a certain point and like with Dudley, Malfoy, and the others that Percival was a walking dead man who didn't know it yet.
"Ronald well, I think you really need to talk to him that he needs to do some effort and not try to do things at the last minute," Harry continued after thinking over all of the issues with Ronald. "He doesn't seem to have any notion of time management or understand that the sooner that work is done the sooner he can have his games. I suppose he is a bit worse than the twins are in some ways; he doesn't want to do anything more than the bare minimum and I don't see that enabling him to accomplish any dreams or goals he has right now. To make matters worse you saw how he reacted to me, and he does the same for anyone that tries harder than he does. To be blunt, most of my house mates wonder if there was an accident after he was born at St Mungo's since he seems to belittle anyone that can, would or have tried to help him. That he seems to need to hurl insults at women that try to help him is not something I would expect from someone with even the least attentive of mothers let alone one that is obviously a firm disciplinarian. I am amazed that Professor McGonagall didn't have him in detention for the whole year for all of the fights he starts. Gryffindors are supposed to be brave chivalrous and other such things, but Ronald seems insistent that you require him to de-gnome your garden among other things for the summer."
As soon as Harry finished his not too harsh critique of Ronald, Molly turned towards him to give him a howler in person while Harry moved over to the twins again. They were being as quiet and trying to blend into the scenery since the verbal reaming that their stupid foolish bigoted and other things younger brother was not the sort of attention they ever wanted to receive. Her fury at pranks and jokes were one thing as well s not taking their school work overly seriously, but Ronald had pretty much shoved his whole body into it on this one. It was times like this that Harry had wished he could speak telepathically or otherwise communicate outside his claimed servants. Making a note to lookup complex nonverbal communications in the future, they communicated with subtle gestures and pantomiming because a whisper might get her attention at this point. He did suspect that if the twins and he conversed with Ginevra that Molly out of her own twisted plans ignore them while verbally skinning, castrating, and roasting Ronald.
"So, I get that Bill and Charlie are interesting with Percival seeming to be headed towards being a future Ministry flunky while Ronald seems insistent on being as depressingly pathetic as Crabbe or Goyle without a Malfoy to follow," Harry whispered to them once Molly was well and truly lost in her tirade. "You mentioned a younger sister starting next year so what is she like besides what little I saw in September and the trying to hide over there for today. Hermione has a cousin starting next year and I don't think any of us want someone with a similar mindset to get pissed off. You two may get mad and even, but Hermione and Alice are methodic when it comes to retribution. You remember when you pranked him that one day; well Hermione had at least a horrifyingly embarrassing spell scheme set up. Take every jinx you ever heard of before and link them so if the professors tried to remove one it would trigger the others stronger with flatulence and explosive diarrhea as the nicest of them. The color changes wouldn't have been so bad except they were planned to be linked to itching and skin sensitivity."
"What did ikkle Ronnikins do to get her ire that het up?" the twins asked in interest, "just out of curiosity to not receive something similar of course."
"Of course you are," Harry whispered with a slight chuckle even as he swung his eyes to the alternating pale, flushed, and sick Weasley. "Well it seems that Hermione decided to be helpful to the prat and instead of just ignoring her, he mocked, belittled, and insulted Hermione before and after. You should have seen her the other time when the poor boy wanted help on homework by which he meant for someone to write it in his handwriting for him. He is luck she didn't report him to Flitwick for that or worse her original plan to lock him with an illusion and with Malfoy in a closet before being found by Filch."
"Harsh but fair from what we know of the fair lady," the twins responded with Fred acting sage like while George acted frightened. "Ginevra may prank back, but she is nowhere near as vindictive as you raven although some would think she should have been an owl. Her glare is at least as good as Madam Pince or Madam Hooch if not as intimidating as Professor McGonagall. We may be crass, brazen, hooligans, but our head of house is not one to truly cross. Filch talks a good game, but McGonagall would hang a bloke by his danglies if she felt like it. We know better than to even make the obvious jokes with her form because she would transfigure us into mice and change us even if the teachers are not supposed to use that as punishments anymore than what Filch gripes about."
"That there is a good point, you two. Still doesn't explain how Snape gets away with his antics as deputy she should be the one stomping his bits if he steps out of line," Harry said with a slight bit of disappointment over some of her actions. "I heard the hassle Neville had from your prats actions. That boy has more problems with Snape and Malfoy than he should and having the rest of your house tear what little esteem he has apart isn't helping."
"We only had hoped he would act like our siblings and when poked for him to respond, but alas it seems that only causes him to be more of a turtle," they said with a slight shake of their heads. "So what interests do you have with the plant charmer of Gryffindor? His year mates may give him grief, but we won't go out of the way to have him be a butt of a joke. We hate to admit it but he needs a bit of confidence and backbone or he will be walked over for his whole life."
"Plant charmer if only that was his problem, but it seems dear Neville is far more gifted with plants than just growing them," Harry said with a conspiratorial glance and tone to his suddenly lowered voice. "Besides Snape skulking about his lessons, it seems that when he is brewing the plants are more potent than they should be. Now think what this means my dear pranksters, and it will hit you like a bludger to the head."
"More potent means you can stretch the ingredients more if you know the right changes to the potion," they said as they saw the obvious thing since they had to scrounge and find substitutes for ingredients for their pranks. "Shame it only works for plants, but something is better than nothing and we can see where this would be beneficial. So why are you interested in this dear scholar?"
"Despite what some people think, the family does a good deal of business with potions both ingredients and prepared ones," Harry said with a thoughtful look on his face. "Now as you know most people seem to want to treat me like a mushroom, but there are certain obligations between our two families and looking out for Neville is just a small one. Even if his grandmother seems to want to squander his talent and make him a duplicate of his father, I think Neville could be both happy and successful. Give him some confidence and he might change his magic hands to have a more general and reciprocate utilization than he has seen just yet."
"Why it seems that you have seen the wonder of the fairer ones and when not even more than an ikkle firstie," they added with a bit of humor at his innuendo regarding the shyest boy in their school that they knew about. "Does that mean that strangely acting girl there will have issues in the future with you? We are her older brothers and neither Percival nor Ronald will care about others to keep an eye on her next year."
"I can see where that might be a problem for properly protective brothers unlike those two over there," Harry said as he tried to word things in a manner not to offend the two he was baiting to work for him. "I suppose I should state; how would you feel if someone sacrificed your happiness and dreams for your perceived safety? Now while certain words will draw her attention than others, I believe your goals would be frowned on as they are not boring and reliable enough similar to your other brothers."
"You do have a point and we would rather not have such a job in the future," the twins answered with a resolved respect. "Still setting up Gin-gin with someone other than you would be very difficult since they both seem set on it."
"Ah, but what do they know about the real me and not the soon to be sued to nothingness fiction writers writing about my so called life," Harry countered as he tried not to plain out say why it would be a very bad idea. "Ok, how about this to help convince you to try to get her to open her eyes. You know how Hermione is and her cousin is just as bad at times yet far more vicious in her responses. Alice is a nice girl she just has some issues, which Anne only exasperates. You know that cousin of mine that I described as a waste of space, well when those two met him we had gotten some distance between outright violence. They groin stomped him like a Manchester fan would do to a Liverpool or anyone sane would do to a Chudley fan as obsessive as your brother is. As you know girls do not fight fair what with the hair pulling, clawing and the like, so do you think kicking in their bits would not come up with how prone they are to do so to guys at times. So, out of the interest of keeping her out of the hospital wing or possibly Saint Mungo's, I have to advise you to try to get the notions toned down at the very least. I kind of doubt you would do decent at Quidditch or at all with those chasers you are interested in if you get your bits bruised daily and pranked worse than your inspiration could do."
"You have to be joking Harry," they said. "Why don't you ask for something reasonable like Malfoy professing love for muggles and junior saying he is marrying one out of love? From what we know about Mum and Gin-gin that would be more likely than getting them to change their minds when they decide them, and from what our illustrious relatives have inferred Prewitt Women are more stubborn than a Niffler on the scent of gold. Why not ask for Snape to smile, give points to Gryffindor, or lose the grease in his hair if you are going for the impossible?"
"Fred, George, I say this with all seriousness. Unless you want your Gin-gin to be more loopy than that girl Ronald calls Loony than you need to get her to at least not try something stupid," Harry said with a frustrated strangled sound as he didn't want to state that Alice would break Ginevra down to nothing before rebuilding her as something she would consider useful for him to own such as a whore that at most might be granted the privilege to have his cock sucked clean after pissing or worse, and that was if Anne didn't just try to off her and feed her to someone before they reminded her of the no offing those too young to have become set in their choices. "I would not put it past them to find a way to scare Dementors if they set their mind to it. To be blunt, I don't see anything with your sister and ladies I know would be very displeased to have anyone trying to worm more time out from me than classes, homework, and other things do as it is. Unfortunately, if she is as stubborn as Ronald seems than they might try some rather traumatizing pranks. Now think of the worst you would do and multiply it by the Marauders and pick Malfoy and Snape as schoolmates with Filch as their near house elf as the target, and you get a best case scenario of what they would do."
"You are leaving something out and we don't want to know what it is, do we?" the twins asked as some of the seriousness of what he was subtly implying finally sunk into their minds. "This is going to be worse than catching Angelina and Alicia discussing female things, isn't it?"
"Yes, of that there is no doubt," Harry said with a firm nod. "Just try to get her to mellow out since some of my friends and acquaintances will find a way to follow me. Hermione should be busy with her parents that week if we are lucky. Now as for Alice and Anne, just think female doubles of you two without being twins and make more dogged than Oliver is for your Quidditch practices and you get a very slight idea of what those two would do. Recall that they have no qualms in going for soft bits or agonizing ones regardless of who they are after. Dudley tried to back some of the dumber and Goyle like boys to cultivate similar minded girls. Those two didn't just kick them in the tenders, but actually punted them into a wall with steel-toed boots. They are lucky they didn't permanently neuter them and I don't want to know why they used agonizing levels of itching powder in sensitive spots in both groups. Unlike you two, if you piss them off they will take it a bit malicious. We can hope Malfoy is as much of a twit as he was this year and if Ronald doesn't get his head on straight we can hope those two are more annoying to them than Ginevra is."
"Right stay out of the way and keep our bits undamaged or cursed," they said with a shudder as Harry tried to tone down the sheer level of savagery his girls and he himself were capable and willing to cause. "We don't think we would survive what our possible girlfriends would do if we get those parts damaged before they had their say. We will try to get both their heads in line, but with Percy being how he is it will be difficult."
"Percival has lost a lot of respect with the prefects and if he keeps going how he is there is a chance that the other prefects will try to call him out over it if the teachers keep ignoring things," Harry said as he wondered how to hint that Percival likely would end up dog food when all is said and done even if he was certain that accomplishing a premeditated ritual execution was not something friends did to others relatives; although, he doubted his companions didn't have their own ideas in how to sublimely end the Dursleys. "Not sure what the rumors in your house are saying since you two didn't tell me any and Neville isn't exactly hooked into the network if you know what I mean. I will say that your brother is going to be unable to get a date from Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw and even the Slytherin ladies would turn him down without there being some return for doing so. He will be lucky if he gets out of Hogwarts with his bits intact let alone whole considering the general loathing he seems to be getting."
"Not sure what the big head could have done since he seemed so certain to be the perfect prefect this year and be Head Boy the year after next," they said with a thoughtful look on their face. "Does this have anything to do with the way he looked disheveled from someone else's prank? He had to have done something really bad to walk that funny and reluctant to go to Madame Pomphrey over it. She may be strict but she is discreet unless it really matters."
"Now that I don't know how much to tell you," Harry said as he tried to think what bit of information would best keep things interesting and the twins on Percival's case without stirring things up too much. "Let's just say that Percival was not the most gentlemanly when a woman he fancied turned him down and trying to have an argument while blocking a girl's facilities is not the brightest of things in the world to do. He ended up on the ground and dirty. We were walking down the hall and found out that he tried to clean himself only to botch a cleaning charm and give the boys a bit of a steaming."
"Ouch, that had to have hurt, but even we haven't done something irritating enough for the girls to prank us like that," they said even as they could tell the funnier part had been suppressed since it was likely that the mere whisper of what happened would catch their mother's ears even muffled by her bellowing tirade. "Sure we thought about a temporary gag to shrink a guy's bits or make them itch, but that almost sounds too far unless it was slap worthy in the extreme."
"Yeah, it was and probably would have had his tackle kicked and then ground to paste, he really pissed her off and he lucked out not to be dangling by them," Harry said as he flicked his eyes to the ways a way where he had noticed Su and her family proceeding away to meet those arriving in conventional ways. "So if you could try to get your siblings to mellow some more than I think things won't be that bad this summer. I don't know about you, but I do want to avoid another one of those strangling hugs again. Now if we can manage to escape than I think we both will win."
They nodded at him even as the hiding Ginevra seemed to sneak looks at him, which made them shake their heads in exasperation. Ginny was their sister, but they had seen some of what Harry and his ladies could do. They didn't know for sure anything concrete, but they were fairly certain that Hermione was his official girlfriend as for the rest they really didn't want the ire asking would result in them receiving. Molly would only ground them and make them do some somewhat unpleasant chores, while Hermione was likely to curse them to misery given Ronald's encounter that should have left him with a bit more self-preservation than it had done.
"Well Mrs. Weasley it was a pleasure to meet you, but I need to stop dawdling and get home," Harry said as he kept well out of her lunge and hug range while glancing down at a watch to check the time. "I wouldn't wish to be rude by keeping people waiting for me. It just isn't the proper thing to do."
"Yes, it wouldn't be proper at all nor should one be that rude," Molly said while realizing she needed to keep some sense of things even if she really wanted to get her poor too long hands on some gold. "It is nice to know that you are a proper gentleman and will hopefully be a good influence on those two delinquents so that I can focus on getting this lazy child to be properly behaving. If only I could find a way to keep a closer eye on you next year. Ginny, do remember to write if Ronald has slacked off as I doubt the other boys will do so. Now as loath as I am for mischief, I will allow some of it if it keeps Ronald from embarrassing the family like it seems he has done this year."
"That is good to hear Mrs. Weasley. I think you have just made their summer and year with that sufferance," Harry said amused at how easily Molly was to contain. "I will see you near the last week or so of summer than. I hate to intrude, but it would be uncharitable not to allow the minor forbearance in disciplining your youngest son even if it seems rather crass to me to discuss such failings in public. As it happens, I believe it will take some time for you to get to the Burrow from here, and given Ronald's behavior a dinner out would be too much of a reward. So we all should be off now."
"I see your point, young man. It would be terribly improper to keep people waiting and it seems that Ronald will need plenty of time to start both his summer chores as well as sit down and go over his years studies," Molly said as she tried to project the best possible image and plan how to keep such a ruse while he visits. "I suppose you will listen this time Ronald or you will be doing all of your siblings chores. Ginny come along we need to discuss some things and I expect you two trouble makers will help keep an eye on things as well as Percival should with his prefect status. It was a pleasure to meet you, Harry, but we do have our own matters to attend to today. It will be a pleasure to have you over this summer, and I hope that you enjoy your time with us. Come along children, things won't get done just standing here."
"Of Course, Mrs. Weasley," Harry said showing cunning outperforming most current Slytherins as he avoided showing how he felt about spending any time around the pudgy smothering control freak of a mother. "I am sure that I will be welcome in your home and that it will be a pleasant visit."
Gathering her brood of mostly rambunctious spawn to her, Molly did not hear Harry as he muttered just out of their earshot, "Pleasant with the twins, but you are going to be causing a problem. I doubt anyone that knows you will be interested in your star struck daughter if she would end up looking like you."
Still he had a few moments to reflect on this encounter as even with her clearly overbearing ways Molly Weasley could not doubt that managing and maneuvering her children was like herding cats. He had done a fair job of properly not drawing notice to Ginny especially with her contrary behavior to how the twins had described her. Harry could understand their thoughts on their youngest sibling and only sister as before things had settled as they had done that he had almost labeled the girls around him as surrogate sisters. He never admitted it out loud to anyone even his lovers, but as an orphan especially growing up in as clinically sterile and devoid of real love house as the Dursleys had that there was a need to have a family even if he had to make it by his choice. It was only human to crave companionship not just of friends and lovers, but the supposed to be overlooking ties of kinship.
Sure, he had partially analyzed the situation and those involved coming up with several conclusions even as he watched the shabbily dressed husband meekly submit to Molly and her actions. It was unfortunate that it seemed that from what he had out guile out of the twins that Molly had instilled a scarily fanatic belief in the dream of whom Harry Potter was, but even his overly sensitive to rush hormones and barely caged emotions had little to attract him to Ginevra. She was a red head which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but the imagination of him seeing her as a poor substitute for his mother who was not the same color of red as the Weasleys with a true passion from what he had ruthlessly ripped out of Severus Snape's obsessive mind.
'The only thing I will agree with Severus Snape with is that Lily Evans was a goddess among ignorant mortals,' Harry thought as he swept his eyes over the slowly no longer in smothering his disastrously heightened sense of smell with their cacophony of scents. 'I don't doubt that they would try to pass that freckle haired girl as the second coming of the passionate knowledgeable and intimidating woman who I was so blessed to have spent nine months wrapped inside. While Hermione and Alice have little issues as cousins, I don't think admitting that since that dream I feel drawn to her. Finding out that not only our fathers but also our mothers were friends did help me in seeking out to speak with Neville even if I was almost tempted to jump start his spine and confidence. I just do not think that he is quite ready for the manner I was tempted to use, and even if it would be affective, he needs a more subtle push before that point.'
Neville had been an interesting boy to try to get to know and that had been without the rumors and propaganda that had developed around both Harry Potter of Ravenclaw and the Boy-Who-Lived mythos. It hadn't shocked him after all he had found out that they would have been raised as friendly cousins but not for Dumbledore's meddling. Perhaps, considering what had happened to his godmother and her husband, Dumbledore had been right to try to safeguard him far from where wizards had the common sense to look. It had been a bitch to get the information, but besides the familial concerns, Alice Longbottom had along with her husband stayed silent about his possible location through torture. That was something that Harry could respect and in addition to knowing she had been a very close friend of his mother, Harry could admit he owed them and would only seek out a way to revive them second only to allowing his mother to grace this sick world with her enchanting presence.
'Sex is satisfying and stimulates a number of things and it would help to have something else to have a sense of accomplish at being good at doing for him,' Harry continued his thought as he let his mind's eye reflect on Neville and especially how he greeted his Gran from out of Night's eyes. 'So far he has his Herbology, but even I know that Snape seems compelled to tear what little confidence he has to tatters. I wouldn't make him suffer with Ginevra as she is now, and it seems she would need someone to keep her from becoming like her mother in mind as well as body. Thankfully, I should have built up some of his confidence by then and my girls would take good care of him. He is my god-brother and a nice enough sort that I don't doubt that they will be interested. The only problem is the new fish and being dog piled once they see how advantageous the Longbottom gift seems to be with plants.'
Sure, he had contemplated that before, but his ruthless side saw focusing Ginevra to Neville instead of him would solve two problems at the same time. She was too stalkerish and Harry knew that her behavior would draw his ladies ire. Hermione wouldn't be too bad, but Alice especially listening to Anne would tear her apart physically as well as mentally and emotionally. They all had their inner demons and while it seemed Ginevra was too in awe of his supposed past, he had little doubt the spitfire that engaged in prank wars with the twins would be cowed so easily. While he didn't have a gift to precognition, Harry didn't wonder if the feud with the Malfoys being generational as he saw from the glares between the two families would not escalate with a female Weasley at Hogwarts.
Lucius from what he gathered could be as uncaringly vicious as he was and if there was a chance to ruin an enemy Harry doubted the supposed Imperious-controlled Death Eater would not strike. If Arthur Weasley had something of note connected to him and he could ruin the man and his daughter, Harry was sure the Slytherin would take the obvious advantage.
'Perhaps, I should look into the divination aspects of the dead since they were not fully in the living world and some ways existed outside the bounds of mortal existence,' Harry thought as he contemplated the aspects of classic necromancy he had investigated but dismissed similarly since he had little belief in preordained events as it was too easily an excuse for people and things being as they are or had been. 'Not that I plan to waste my time in that class the year after next. Arithmancy and Runes have a more practical use considering how they show in our rituals even if we seem to instinctively draw the runes and other symbols when the magic nearly overwhelms and is difficult to control. It seems at those times we more direct than control the magic flowing in and around us. Lovely, now there is something else to have to research away from other priorities. We could ask the Flamel's or the Li's over the summer.'
With a sigh of relief, Harry watched the red heads finally wander away and out past the barrier to the muggle side of the platform where they would take the likely enchanted car that Arthur owned back to the Burrow. Most of the wizards were using the things on this side of the platform, but the Weasleys did have far too much things to transport and without a house elf had to transport things the old fashioned way as Portkeys were not in their price range. He had already watched Lucius Malfoy and the complementary styled Narcissa who contrasted with Bella quite nicely leave with the elf discernibly fetching Draco Malfoy's trunk. Part of him wished to confront the three especially with what his observations in regards to things were, but Harry pushed down the impulses that the head of the House of Black should have in regards to his family.
It was a meeting that would have to happen sooner or later, and the only one that was as potentially disastrous was meeting the Tonks family. Ok, there was meeting Hermione's parents when they brought some things to light, but those two were less backwards than what it seemed Dora had to deal with daily. All of that considered, it didn't mean that part of his still teenage mind and body was not apprehensive of the eventual chat that they would have to have. He wondered if it would be shovels, pigs or something else that he would be threatened with from his delightful love's father. Even with Vincent and June being as socially progressive as they were, Harry doubted that they would be too accommodating, but it could happen. There were some subtle things that only reflecting on some of the rather experienced memories he had experienced gave him hope of that, and it would likely be that he doubted that Hermione did fall too far from the tree in regards to some of her inclinations.
'While I would not wish to walk in on them,' Harry thought as he lingered at the barrier taking a moment to savor and focus on the mingling and lingering scents around him. 'I don't doubt the unexpected improvements on our sense of smell will not increase to outmatch werewolves or other half-breeds as the Ministry seems want to call them. I just hope that Hermione doesn't regress a bit and how embarrassed she will be when she can detect the lingering scents on people. Her parents may be outgoing and considered cool even with the trauma of being dentist, but without the interactions with Alice I doubt she would be as accepting of acknowledging some of the more taboo things. Still considering how similar Hermione and June's appearance as well as behavior, I don't doubt that June has experimented in a number of recreational areas that we have already done. The only thing that might be dangerous will be our more predatory nature, but Hermione has not yet crossed that final line. There is perhaps more than a moral and legal difference in being a witness and a full participant drawing that final cut.'
Still stepping through the barrier and interacting with his female best friend and frequent lover's parents was not something he should be completely certain about doing. His impressions that their complete despising of hypocrisy where they saw it did help especially as he doubted that they were as boringly traditional as the Dursleys pretended to be, but Harry had little doubt that they had experimented in a lot of ways given the times they had been teenagers. The little things did tilt that some family friends might be more intimate than on first appearance. With Hermione being officially entering into her womanhood and all that involved, Harry didn't doubt that her mother would not have some more 'girl talk' with her while they were in France. He wondered a bit impishly if Dora would cause the laid-back man to cream his swimwear when she went on the beach especially if it was either topless or nude.
'Probably be a topless one to start off with and as they are concerned but not smothering parents the other will be permissible when we are all older,' Harry thought as he felt his shrunken trunk and familiar wrapped under his clothes now while otherwise hidden with magic while Night had flown home. 'They will want to see how we handle things before treating us less as children and more teenagers and eventually mature adults. If we act overly childish, they will keep us treated as such even if they are less against enlightened behavior. One thing one can say is that the Grangers are not and have not raised Hermione to be a good little drone. Unfortunately even if it is even more pronounced elsewhere, the nail that sticks out is hammered in.'
With a quick breath to recenter himself, Harry stepped through the barrier and felt the flicker of his hidden shadow following with him. He had little doubt that Kiki would not be able to survive on her own, but the piles of corpses would be difficult to hide if she was not kept an eye on often enough. His necromantic animated companions may have been his first friends, but he was not blind to their needs and nature unlike Hagrid and his pets. While one's nature did not absolutely define them, it would be foolish to ignore that resistant to change part of one's being by ignoring it or rationalizing it away.
Harry knew that he was a monster as was most of his friends and companions, and it was in his nature to change those around him similarly. A monster was not necessarily evil, but like the other thinking nonhuman races, they did not exactly see the world and react to things in the same way. Normal people were flexible more so than they were at times even if most people he passed on the street were little more than sheep who sacrificed their potentials for mediocrity and ignorant bliss.
That did not mean that they were not more often panicked or shocked by the unusual, but that normal people had more chance and ability to realize the greatest gift that life granted them. Free will was as much a curse as blessing to humanity and those similar to it. Magic while liberating did have the subtle ability to bind and ensnare thus limiting free will. The other beings out there had fantastic powers, but the more power it seemed the more their nature defined their actions. The goblins for example were a particularly war like and predatory species. It went against their nature to bow and scrape to those they would prefer to dine upon with glee. Unfortunately, most muggleborns tried to humanize every race when they wanted to be treated properly. Magical species were fundamentally different in mind as well as body, but some well-meaning fool in every generation tried to force their beliefs on the world. In another life, Hermione would have likely viewed the bond of House-elves as wrong.
