VIOLENCE

Chapter Summery: Caught unaware, the group comes under attack from Man and Spirit, but they also learn the shocking secret Iduna has kept from them.

Disclaimer: I don't own Elsa, Anna or any other Disney characters or locations that appear or are mentioned in this work of fiction, Disney does.

NOTE: The next chapter after this one will likely be split in two, it's getting chunky at 31 pages currently and not yet complete, but close, I plan to end it with the Nokk fight, then the final chapter/part being Ahtohallan and the 'aftermath' of what happens there. I'd rather not post a 30+ page chapter/part, so this will allow me to post a new part sooner. When this whole chapter is done, it's probobly going to be near or more than a hundred pages.

Elsa quickly whispers to Anna...

"What happened to you seeing everything around with your magic?"

"Sorry! With everything happening, I didn't want to slice my foot open on a rock or something." whispered back Anna. "But I'll check now to see who or what we're dealing with and their numbers." whispered back Anna.

Retracting the bottom of her boots again, Anna gasped as she saw a number of people ahead of them and to their right, while some were also in the trees. Many were armed with a staff and a few in the trees even had bows. Then to Anna's further surprise, saw a smaller number of people behind them, though they were armed with shields and swords.

"U-Uhh... I have good news and bad news." stated Anna, before the trio walked back pass one of the ice Arendelle soldiers and Anna quickly reached for its sword and pulled it free, along with the statues hand. "Oh, sorry!"

"You have your glass remember?" commented Elsa.

"Oh, right, hehe, kinda panicking right now." replied Anna, pointing the ice sword at the rustling in front of them with both hands, before Silvia asked...

"What was the bad news?"

"Right, well the bad news is there are people behind us too." answered Anna, which prompted Elsa to turn around as the trio stopped to hold their ground. "And they have swords and shields, but the good news is there are a lot less of them than the ones in front of us, who are also in the trees with bows."

"So we're fucked." muttered Silvia, before she added, "Alright, sorry about this you two."

"About what?" asked Elsa, before she and Anna gasped as they suddenly felt very turned on, causing their knees to buckle from the wave of sensation washing over them and gathering between their legs.

While the sisters managed to stay standing; Elsa briefly lowering one hand down to her crotch and Anna using the ice sword as an improvised cane; they heard gasping moans ahead of them, before to their surprise, a couple people fall out of the trees a couple of yards in front of them.

However, a couple more people; Northuldra from their clothing, dropped down to their feet in front of them; clearly under the effect of Silvia's 'attack'; breathing heavily and flushed in the face, but enduring it as many more emerged from the bushes brandishing their weapons at them, mostly armed with wooden staffs, but there were still a few with bows shakily drawn and aimed at them.

However, their readiness was clearly compromised; some even succumbing to the sensations, falling to the ground moaning and grabbing at their crotches; but they still had the numbers, some enduring the pleasure while one young brunette woman stood at the front, still ready to fight despite the effects to her body.

"Lower your weapon!" demanded the Northuldra woman, while Silvia smirked.

"Well, aren't you a cute one."

"R-Really Silvia!?" questioned Elsa.

Anna though pushed through the arousal and lifted her sword.

"You lower yours!"

Elsa however, saw seven soldiers show themselves from the bushes and trees, but their uniforms were Arendellian in design. The dark-skinned male soldier standing ahead of his allies soon hit his sword against his shield, drawing Anna and Silvia's attention, which prompted a gasp from the soldiers and briefly dropping to one knee, before the leader stood.

"Everyone lower their weapon!" declared the soldier.

"Arendelle soldiers?" questioned Elsa.

"Wait..." commented Anna lowly as she looked at the male soldier who spoke, with curiosity. "That soldier looks familiar."

The Northuldra woman though commented...

"What are you Arendelle murders doing here!?"

"The spirits are active." stated the soldier. "You Northuldra savages are planning something!"

"We're not planning anything!" declared the Northuldra. "You know the rules! Stay in your own camp!"

'They're still fighting?' thought Elsa. 'After all this time?'

Curious, Elsa spoke to Silvia...

"Silvia, stop what you're doing."

"You sure?" asked Silvia.

"Yeah, those are Arendelle soldiers, perhaps we can talk this out." replied Elsa.

"Ok then." replied Silvia, before Elsa and Anna sighed with relief, along with everyone else around them.

Anna then non-nonchalantly waved the sword towards the Arendelle soldiers, narrowing her eyes towards the dark-skinned man, commenting...

"I know you..."

However, one of the Arendelle soldiers gasped...

"Lieutenant, the sword!"

"Anna!" gasped Elsa. "Don't point the sword at them!"

Anna then saw the soldiers charge at her.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I'm sorry!" quickly declared Anna as she dropped the sword.

However, Elsa saw an arrow wiz right between them, alerting Anna who started to turn around in time as another approached Anna's head and suddenly burned to ash as it neared her, which prompted a fearful gasp from her and falling to the ground.

"STOP!" declared Elsa, before she suddenly iced the ground and caused all the people of both sides slip and fall and struggle to stand.

"I-I would've died right then if I didn't have magic!" declared Anna in shock and fear.

"Are you ok Anna!?" asked Elsa, briefly kneeling and helping Anna to her feet and rubbing her face, wiping the blood that remained on Anna's face away.

"Y-Yeah, my magic protected me." answered Anna.

The Northuldra all began to whisper in shock of the show of magic, while the Arendelle soldiers shared the shock. Elsa angrily scowled at the Northuldra for the attempt to end Anna's life, before she took a deep breath, she didn't want to re-ignite the tension after breaking it.

"I'm sorry." replied Elsa, speaking to both sides. "We are the reason the spirits are active. We would like to have a discussion, if at all possible."

"Who are you?" asked the Arendelle lieutenant, before a Northuldra male added...

"Why does a human have magic!?"

"My name is Elsa." stated Elsa as she retracted her ice. "I'm Queen of Arendelle." she added, before Anna quickly added as well...

"And I'm her sister. I'm Anna, the Princess."

Silvia then finished...

"I'm Silvia, their personal guard."

"Personal guard?" Whispered a Northuldra woman. "Dressed like that?"

"The Queen and Princess of Arendelle?" questioned the lieutenant as he and the other soldiers stood, along with the Northuldra, before an older looking Northuldra woman with long, braided gray hair and carrying a staff, walked up beside the young brunette woman who stood in front of the confrontation, commented...

"More Arendelle people to attack us."

"No, no." quickly replied Anna. "We're not attacking anyone!"

The Lieutenant then commented...

"You really are the Queen of Arendelle?"

"Yes." replied Elsa. "Although, I've only been Queen for a few months."

"And she's doing a great job!" added Anna with delight, which prompted a small chuckle from Elsa.

"A few months?" asked the Lieutenant. "You look quite young, Your Majesty. His Majesty must be around forty now, maybe fifty; I didn't expect King Agnarr to have such, interests, no offense."

"Huh? Oh! NO, NO, NO!" gasped Elsa, her face flaring red with a nervous chuckle, before Anna dry heaved and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Ohhh, that's not an image I wanted to have in my head."

"Agnarr is our father!" quickly corrected Elsa.

"Your father!?" Gasped the lieutenant, before he knelt. "My apologies, Your Majesty! But if you're the Queen, then what of King Agnarr?"

Elsa and Anna shared a reluctant gaze, before Elsa answered.

"Our Father and Mother were lost at sea three years ago."

Elsa and Anna saw the look of sadness come to the Arendelle soldiers, before they knelt as well, which brought a smile to Elsa and Anna's faces at the gesture, before the lieutenant stood and Anna commented...

"Wait, wait, wait! This is bugging me!" Anna then lifted her hand up framing the lieutenant. "You look so familiar!"

"Oh!" gasped the lieutenant. "I haven't introduced myself."

"No, no, don't tell me!" Declared Anna, before she walked to the man's right side and scrunched her face in thought, before she gasped with a smile. "Ah-ha! Lieutenant Mattias! You were our father's official guard! You have a portrait in the library, second one from the left of King Runeard."

"Wow." commented Elsa, before Anna chuckled and commented...

"I had a lot of time to look at the portraits."

The casual remark, brought a saddened expression to Elsa's face, before Mattias commented as he bowed.

"Lieutenant Destin Mattias; at your service, Your Majesty, Your Highness. We may be older, but we're still strong..." he then motioned to the other soldiers and stood in front of Elsa with his shield ready. "And proud to serve Arendelle." he added, while the other soldiers followed suit, positioning themselves in front and to the sides of Elsa and Anna, guarding them from the Northuldra, who raised their weapons.

"Whoa! Whoa! No!" gasped Elsa, quickly moving through the group of soldiers towards the alert Northuldra. "We aren't here to fight!"

"Tell that to your people then." stated the older woman. "We are defending ourselves." she added, before Mattias stated...

"You attacked us first, Yelana."

"My people are innocent." answered the woman. "We never would've attacked first!"

"Neither would we." replied Mattias, before Anna gasped with delight and slipped between the soldiers to join Elsa.

"Oh! Wait! I can fix this! I have magic too and-"

However, the older woman, Yelana, interrupted with a groan...

"Arendelle sisters with magic? Why would nature give you two magic?"

"Perhaps to make up for the actions of your people." commented Mattias.

Before the two could get into a back and forth argument, Anna spoke up...

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Let's just relax. I know tensions are high, you've all been trapped here, but I can help with finding the truth and offer some path coming together." Anna then extended a hand to Mattias and Yelana. "Take my hand, I can tell if someone's lying." she added, before Yelana frowned.

"You expect me to trust you?"

Mattias then walked up to Anna and took her offered hand.

"If the Princess can solve this long battle by simply holding her hand, then I will, I do not fear the truth." stated Mattias, which prompted a groan from Yelana, however, Elsa commented...

"We are outsiders to your conflict. If Arendelle IS responsible, I will take responsibility."

"How and why are you three even here?" asked Yelana. "Nothing can enter or exit the mist."

"A voice lead us here." replied Elsa. "It called to me and allowed us to enter. That's not the real reason we're here though; we suspect our parents ship may have washed up here and we've come to bring their remains back to Arendelle."

"A ship?" questioned Yelana, curiously, which prompted wide-eyed curiosity from Elsa.

"Yeah, do you know of a ship washed up on the shore!?"

Yelana narrows her eyes at Elsa briefly, before turning her gaze to Anna, who continued to offer her hand, before she walked up to Anna and took her hand.

"Thanks." replied Anna, with a smile. "Just to be sure, were you two present when the fighting started?"

"Yes." answered both, Mattias and Yelana, which prompted no spikes Anna could feel.

"Ok, you two aren't lying about that. Now, answer at the same time again for this next one: Did your people start the fight?"

"No."

Their answer prompted confusion on Anna's face.

"Well that's weird."

"What is it?" asked Elsa.

"Neither of them are lying."

"Well of course I'm not." stated Yelana, pulling her hand away, while Mattias also removed his hand, though asked Anna...

"How accurate are you in determination whose lying?"

"Well so far, a hundred percent; but I also recently learned I could do this, so..." replied Anna, before she heard Yelana groan.

"A novice with her magic? This was a waste of time."

"At least I'm trying to help, jeez." muttered Anna with a frown and with her hands on her hips, before Elsa commented...

"What if Anna's right though? Both sides believe they're right, there must be a missing piece of information. Does anyone actually know what caused the fight? Was it a disagreement?"

Mattias answered...

"Not that I'm aware of, we were all friendly, we were all gathered, laughing and having a good time, before all of a sudden, the Northuldra attacked."

"Arendelle struck first!" insisted Yelana.

"Ok, ok..." replied Elsa. "What we DO know is that no one knows what happened, so wouldn't the best course of action be to try and figure this out together? What about the spirits, they would know, right?"

As if on cue, a breeze swept between Elsa and Anna, focusing around them as the now familiar whistling was heard.

"Hey, you're back." commented Anna with a smile. "Wanna vouch for us?"

"The Wind Spirit?" questioned Yelana, while the other Northuldra and Arendelle soldiers also looked on curiously. "It's friendly with you?"

"Seems so." replied Elsa with a grimace. "It caused Anna to get injured, but I was able to over come it and now it apparently wants to be friendly with us."

"Ever since the fighting started, the spirits ignored us." Stated Yelana, before she sighed with disappointment. "We used to live in harmony with them, but now they've abandoned us." she added, before she briefly looked back to the other Northuldra, before the young woman from before walked up to Yelana's side and commented...

"But you three are the first ones to get through the mist in all these years, perhaps that is for a reason. Which ever spirit is calling you, maybe it brought you here to help."

"So..." started Anna with a wary smile. "Are we all cool?"

The young woman then whispers into Yelana's ear, who hums in thought, before she spoke to the young woman.

"Check with the others, see if they agree."

The young woman walks back to the other group of Northuldra who gather around and whispers to them and Elsa and Anna heard whispers back and were quite curious what they were discussing, before the young woman returned to Yelana's side and commented...

"They're for it."

"Very well..." commented Yelana, before she looked to Elsa and Anna. "We will trust you two, Queen and Princess and your companion, who has been oddly silent the entire time..." added Yelana, eyeing Silvia who stood off to the side away from everyone, leaning against a tree.

"Oh, don't mind me, this whole spat has nothing to do with me."

"Are you not the Queen and Princess's guard?" asked Yelana.

"Yeah, but I'm not an Arendelle citizen." replied Silvia. "I'm simply offering my services. If they're not under attack, I won't interfere."

Yelana eyed Silvia suspiciously, before she turned her gaze back to the sisters "... We'll agree to a temporary truce and offer assistance, in exchange for your soldiers to surrender their weapons."

"And leave us defenseless?" questioned one of the female Arendelle soldiers.

Elsa was hesitant to the offer, after all her Grand-father, King Runeard was killed by the Northuldra, at least that was what she was told; but both sides claimed the other acted first and no one knew what sparked the fighting. However, Mattias spoke up to Elsa...

"Your Majesty, I'd like to offer a counter offer. Your soldiers will retreat to our camp, but I will surrender my weapon and accompany you."

"No." replied Yelana. "All of you must lay down your weapons."

"Wait." stated Anna. "How about your people too Yelana, your bows. We give up the swords and your people, your bows. The weapons that can kill."

Yelana and the young woman share a glance and the young woman, commented...

"We hunt animals with our bows."

Elsa then stated. "You can spare a day can't you?", before Mattias offered...

"If you surrender your bows, we will surrender our swords and agree to a truce."

Yelana thought for a moment, before she asked...

"If we were to agree to this, do you expect us to give you our bows?"

Elsa then commented...

"I can freeze all the weapons, ours and yours."

"And you can unfreeze yours." Pointed out Yelana.

"Trust needs to be placed somewhere ma'am." replied Elsa. "Do you want this fight to continue for even longer?"

After a moment, Elsa and Anna saw a couple of Northuldra wielding bows, walk up beside Yelana and the younger woman, briefly looking at Yelana, before lowering their bows to the ground, followed by Mattias, then the other soldiers, walking beside the sisters and placing their swords and shields down.

Elsa then directed her magic to the weapons and froze them to the ground.

"Thank you, all of you." replied Elsa with a smile.

The young woman next to Yelana then spoke...

"I'm Honeymaren."

"Hello Honeymaren." replied Elsa and Anna, before Honeymaren added...

"You mentioned a ship."

"Yes!" replied Elsa excitedly. "Is there a ship nearby!?

"Yes, there is a shipwreck we know of, but-"

Honeymaren's comment was cut short as Elsa and Anna noticed she and the other Northuldra spot something behind them that was cause for alarm and back away while Honeymaren declared, "Behind you!" as many other Northuldra exclaimed, "The Fire Spirit!"

Quickly turning around, Elsa and Anna saw two shocking sights; Silvia letting out a frightened, girlish gasp as a ball of fire traveled up the tree she was leaning against. While confused at Silvia's apparent fright, running to the Northuldra, the bigger concern was the living fire that jumped from tree-to-tree, lighting them ablaze as the spirits contact with the trees was quickly un-needed for the fire to propagate.

"Get out of here!" declared Elsa to the Northuldra and Arendelle soldiers. "We'll deal with this!" she added, and the two sides quickly retreated.

However, while Elsa began to freeze some of the trees that were ablaze, Anna stood beside her unsure what to do.

'What do I do?' thought Anna. 'What COULD I do that wouldn't just make it worse? I can't fight fire with fire.'

Unfortunately, it was quickly clear that the fire was spreading faster than Elsa could put it out and with the Fire Spirit still moving around; soon spiraling down a tree and skittering along the ground around them, lighting it ablaze as well, it was only a matter of time before Elsa was overwhelmed.

Soon, with the fire surrounding them, small patches quickly growing into roaring flames; the heat didn't have much effect on Elsa or Anna, but the fires secondary effect did, the smoke; it began to hinder their breathing and vision.

"A-Anna!" stated Elsa, as she and Anna coughs from the smoke inhalation.

"Yeah!?"

"Is anyone else around!?"

"They're in my range, but they seem far enough away, why?"

Anna then saw Elsa trade targeted freezes, for wide sweeps of her ice, covering much more ground around them and Anna figured she perhaps wasn't needed after-all; Elsa was likely worried about injuring the Northuldra or Arendelle soldiers. While much more fire was successfully extinguished, the smoke still lingered, and with Elsa's activity requiring more breathing, briefly caused Elsa to come to a halt, dropping to her knees in a coughing fit as she felt her eyes burning as tears left them.

"Elsa!" gasped Anna, kneeling down to Elsa's side, as she began coughing as well, not quite as hard as Elsa was though, before they see the Fire Spirit circle them, trapping them in a tall ring of fire as their surroundings continue to burn around them.

Elsa though stood and fired continuous blasts of her magic towards the ring of fire, however, her ice no longer did anything; they were truly trapped. Elsa was quickly halted again as she dropped to her hands and knees, gasping for breath.

"I-I can't, breathe!" gasped Elsa.

"No! No! No!" gasped Anna, before she looked around at their fiery prison with tears brimming her eyes that this was how they were going to die and her panicked breathing only caused her to join Elsa in a coughing fit.

'Come on, think!' thought Anna. 'There has to be SOMETHING I can do!' she added, before a thought occurred to her. 'Wait, it's fire; I can CONTROL fire! This is a spirits fire though... NO! I have to try or we're dead!'

Extending her right hand out to the fire, Anna willed it towards her, before seeing it shrink as it approached her and traveled through her hand and into her body.

"It worked!" gasped Anna, before she groaned as she felt herself overwhelmed with magic, VERY similar to when her magic was unstable. 'This energy it too much to contain though!' she thought.

Anna quickly placed her hands to the ground and sent the energy there, prompted a wide area of lush green grass and shrubbery to grow and Anna smiled with delight.

"I can absorb and convert the fire to something else! Elsa, we have to work together!"

"S-So what's the plan?" asked Elsa, still coughing a little.

"Can you manage a dome, or enclosing us with the Fire Spirit so it can't escape?" asked Anna, before quickly absorbed the remaining fire around them, and redirecting it directly up through the unblocked sky, completely resetting the Fire Spirits work as it remained in front of them.

"Yeah, I can do that now." replied Elsa, before they saw the spirit dart past them and Elsa quickly gave a wave of her right hand, extinguishing the trail of fire left behind as she and Anna gave chase.

"Focus on trapping it, I'll take care of the fires!" declared Anna as she drew in the trailing fire from the fleeing spirit and each step of her sprint creating fresh grass behind her.

Elsa quickly set to attempting to contain the spirit, firing blasts just ahead of the spirit, trying to get it to stop, however, it was agile, quickly avoiding or jumping over the small ice barriers.

However, just moments into the chase, they heard a woman call to them from their left.

"Hey! Our camp is in this direction! There are children there!"

It was Honeymaren, running along-side the sisters, though at a safe distance from them.

With that information, Elsa shot her magic forward in a continuous, wide spray, quickly creating a growing wall of ice in front of the spirit, briefly halting it before Elsa quickly spread her arms out to either side of her and creating a curved wall of ice to the sides and behind them, successfully enclosing them with the Fire Spirit.

"Nice going Elsa!" declared Anna with a smile.

The Fire Spirit was clearly attempting to melt through the wall, before Elsa fires her magic directly at it, which managed to dodge and run along the side of the ice wall to their left. Elsa however, fired another blast, creating a wall, blocking the spirits travel and extending the wall near herself and Anna, before Elsa quickly repeated the act to the right of the spirit, trapping it in a narrow corridor with only herself and Anna at the other end and the two advanced on the Spirit with Elsa lifting her hands up prepping to freeze it solid.

However, as they neared the Spirit and with its limited movement, the sisters saw that it was a small animal, a lizard, eyeing them aggressively and it's body flaring with purple fire.

"Elsa wait!" quickly stated Anna, placing her hands to Elsa's and lowering them. "It's just an animal."

"It attacked us!" quickly replied Elsa, lifting her hands again, ready to end the fight.

"Just wait!" quickly stated Elsa as she walked in front of Elsa and slowly walked towards the fiery lizard, knelt and spoke softly. "Hey... it's ok, we don't wanna hurt you."

The spirit didn't get the hint and quickly spat of ball of fire at Anna, who reflexively lifted her right hand up in front of her in a flinch and caught the fireball, before she smiled and lowered the fire down to the ground, which created new grass and even a lone flower springing up.

The lizard seemed to calm at this act, its fire calming in intensity as well.

"Oh, you like?" asked Anna. "Before she lowered her left hand to join her right and created a few more flowers, but the majority of the growth was grass, though it was enough for the lizard to calm a little more at it looked at the flowers.

"Really?" muttered Elsa, lowering her hands as their frosty aura faded. "Flowers is what does it?"

"Well it's working." commented Anna, not looking back, before she offered her left hand to the lizard with a smile. "Come on little guy, we won't hurt you. We can be friends."

The calmed, though still fiery lizard cautiously walked towards Anna's offered hand, briefly examining Anna's hand before crawling onto it, before Anna giggled and stood.

"See? We're all good here." commented Anna, before she turned to face Elsa, who sighed and dispersed her ice, as Anna saw the Fire Spirit look at the dispersion with curiosity, before it looked back to Elsa with what Anna clearly saw as a smile.

Elsa then gasped as the lizard leaps at her and she quickly lifted her hands to catch it to prevent it from landing on her, although the lizard's contact was met with a gasping...

"Ow! Ow! Ow!"

From Elsa as steam billowed from Elsa's hands, prompting a giggle from Anna, before the Fire Spirit made itself comfortable rolling around in Elsa's hands as it's fire faded to nothing.

"I think he likes how cool you are Elsa." commented Anna.

"What is with these spirits attacking us one minute and then being friendly the next?"

"At least they turn out friendly." replied Anna. "It could be a lot worse." she added, before she saw the Northuldra and Arendelle soldiers returning, looking at them with curiosity and amazement, before Anna spoke to them with a smile. "Everything's OK now."

However, Silvia emerged from the Northuldra crowd with a smile, though remained with them as she commented...

"Nice work you two!"

Elsa then looked to Silvia with annoyance and asked...

"Some guard you are; What happened to protecting us!?"

"This was clearly another test, I couldn't intervene. You were able to work together and overcome it." answered Silvia non-nonchalantly, before Anna smirked.

"You're scared of the little guy, aren't you?"

"W-What!? No! That's ridiculous!"

"Then come say hi." suggested Anna, before she offered her hand to the Fire Spirit, which jumped to her hand and Anna took a couple of steps towards Silvia, who quickly backed away, along with a few Northuldra; it was the Northuldra's reaction that gave Anna pause from advancing, while Silvia quickly commented...

"I'm good, just stop right there!"

Elsa then chuckled and walked up to Anna's left and teased...

"You really are scared of it."

"No I'm not! I don't like it, there's a difference! I don't like vermin!"

"Vermin?" questioned Anna with a smile, turning her hand for the lizard to look at her, which was clearly smiling and extended its tongue to lick its eye. "He's so cute though, just look at that face! He actually reminds me of Rapunzel's lizard, Pascal I think?"

The comment prompted a chuckle from Elsa and teased...

"First you like being barefoot, now a lizard; You planning on growing long golden hair too?"

"Ha, ha." replied Anna with a smirk.

Silvia simply scowled before Elsa and Anna saw a couple younger Northuldra, along with Honeymaren, cautiously walk up to Anna and one of the men commented...

"You calmed the Fire Spirit."

"Guess we did." replied Anna with a smile, before the lizard crawled up Anna arm to her shoulder, while Yelana joined the others near them and commented...

"First the Wind Spirit, now the Fire Spirit..."

Anna then gave a giggling gasp when the Fire Spirit crawled under her glass coat.

"H-hey! Get out of there!" declared Anna, though she could see under her unique coat that the lizard headed to her satchel and squeezed it's way into it. "You smell the food I brought?" asked Anna, before she opened her bag and pulled out her mothers scarf, uncovering the small selection of easily eatable snacks; a cloth-wrapped sandwich, two apples, a banana and a small vine of grapes, which the Fire Spirit was delightfully eating. "Save some for me will you." teased Anna with a smile.

However, while Anna's attention was on their new friend helping itself to Anna's snacks, Elsa noticed the looks of surprise on the Northuldra's faces, particularly Yelana, who walked up to Anna and gently took hold of the scarf in Anna's hand, drawing her attention.

"Where did you get this scarf?"

"Huh?" replied Anna, looking down at the scarf.

"This scarf is Northuldran. It belongs to one of our families."

"Northuldran?" asked Elsa, before she and Anna shared a curiously look. "That can't be right. This is our mothers scarf."

"Your mother's?" questioned Yelana with wonderment, before Anna frowned in thought, and gasped.

"Wait! That statue!"

Anna then sprinted away, followed closely by Elsa as they ran past the other Northuldra and Arendelle soldiers, and returned to the ice statue of their father as a boy appearing to be saved by a girl.

"I thought this scarf she was wearing looked familiar!" stated Anna, before she lifted their scarf up to the frozen replica's.

A look of shock came Elsa and Anna's faces...

"It's the same!" gasped Elsa.

The two then walked around to look at the young girl's face.

"Is this..." asked Anna tearfully with a smile.

"It's Mother..." stated Elsa, lifting her left hand up to caress the statues face, as tears rolled down her face. "I can see it."

"Mother saved Father." commented Anna with a smile. "But why would Mother say nothing when Father told that story?"

"Wait..." stated Elsa. "If our mother was Northuldra, an enemy of Arendelle..."

Anna's eye's widen in realization.

"Mother never told him... or anyone. Father didn't know."

"We're Northuldra too." commented Elsa.

The sister's then heard the arrival of the others, and turned to face them and Anna stated...

"Our mother, is Northuldra."

A look of shock comes to not only the Northuldra, whispers beginning among them, but Mattias and the other Arendelle soldiers as well. Silvia then commented...

"Wow, did NOT see that one coming!"

However, Yelana didn't look too pleased, commenting...

"Northuldra and Arendelle?"

Honeymaren however patted Yelana's shoulder.

"Come on Yelana; They've entered the mist, befriended two Spirits and turned out to be part of us. That's much more than a coincidence. I for one, will welcome them; after-all, it's not their fault they don't know their mother's side of the family."

After a moment, Yelana looks back at the other Northuldra, many smiling.

"... And what of you all? Do you share Honeymaren's opinion?"

Many, if not, all of the Northuldra walk up to Yelana and the closet one places their hand on the woman's other shoulder and Honeymaren's, before every other Northuldra places a hand on each others shoulders, linking them together, before Yelana herself looks to the sisters and she sighed with a smile.

"Alright." stated Yelana, before she walked towards the sisters and offered her hands to them, whom smile and reach out to take Yelana's hands as they take each others hands. "Your mother is Northuldran; that makes you one of us as well. WE are Northuldra." added Yelana, giving a squeeze of the sisters hands as she accentuated the 'We' of her statement. "...and we welcome you."

Tears trailed Elsa and Anna's faces again at the acceptance, before Anna commented...

"When we started this journey, we did not expect to discover a whole extended family we never knew we had."

"Yeah..." replied Elsa. "We just wanted to get closure on our parents and bring them home, but maybe mother belongs here... we've clearly been called here for a reason. I promise: we will free the forest and discover the truth."

Anna however, looked at Elsa curiously.

"That's a big claim Elsa."

"We were called here for a reason." replied Elsa. "And these people are our family, we have to help."

"Well I don't disagree." stated Anna.

The sister's then looked back to Yelana, and release her hands before she the woman comments...

"About that ship, it is a few hours travel from here. A trip there and back will have you traveling the forest in the dark. I recommend spending the night with us and departing in the morning."

"Oh..." replied Elsa, with some surprise. "Well we didn't expect to spend the night here."

"But why not?" asked Anna, looking to Elsa with a smile. "It'll be nice to meet some of our relatives for the first time. Maybe we have some uncles or cousins right in front of us!" she added, before Elsa smiled.

"Ok, sure."

Meanwhile, Mattias walked to the sisters with a smile.

"I'm happy for you two."

"Thank you." replied Elsa and Anna.

"I guess it isn't too surprising though." replied Mattias with a chuckle. "Your father did take a liking to one of the Northuldra girls."

"Really?" asked Anna with a smile.

"Yeah, I had to search for him more than once on occasion and those two were often together." replied Mattias, before walking to the statue and looking it over. "What was your mother's name?"

"Iduna." answered Elsa, before she and Anna heard a round of gasps from the Northuldra and turned their gaze back to them and Yelana quickly asked...

"Iduna was your mother!?"

"Y-Yeah." replied Anna curiously at the apparent shock that their mothers name brought.

The two saw a number of Northuldra look concerned, before Honeymaren walked up to them and stared at their faces briefly, much like Anna had done to Mattias, before she commented...

"Of course, you two look just like her!"

"Who?" asked Elsa, before Yelana commented somberly...

"You two have living relatives."

The comment brought wide-eyed shock to the sisters, before Yelana continued...

"Iduna's mother; your grandmother, is alive. However, she is ill and we suspect she doesn't have much time left, but I'm sure she'd love to me her grand-daughters before she leaves us."

A shuttering gasp left the sisters as tears once again spill from their eyes.

"Take us to her!" eagerly requested Elsa.

"Please!" added Anna.

"Of course." replied Yelana, before she looked to Honeymaren. "Honeymaren will lead you to our camp."

"Thank you." replied Elsa and Anna in near unison, before Honeymaren smiled and commented...

"Come on."

The two began to follow the young woman, before Silvia spoke to them.

"Hey, I'll catch up with you two in a bit, I'll go scout out ahead in the direction of your parents ship." Silvia then asked Yelana. "Can you point me in the direction?"

"The trip will take a few hours." stated Yelana.

"That's fine, I may not look like it, but I can handle myself just fine, don't worry."

"Hmm, ok, it's in the same direction as the Queen and Princess are going, just go straight though the camp, Honeymaren will point you in the correct direction from there."

"Alright, thanks."

Silvia quickly hurried ahead to join the sisters, who were talking to the Northuldra woman.

"So, Honeymaren..." commented Anna. "That's an interesting name."

"Thanks." replied Honeymaren. "So what's Arendelle like?"

"It's great!" replied Anna. "The people are really nice. We're on the Fjord, so we get visitors all the time from different places."

"What's the sky like?" asked Honeymaren.

"The sky?" asked Anna.

"Oh, right..." replied Honeymaren with a chuckle. "Many of us were born here when the mist was already here, so many of us has never seen the sky."

"Wow... that really sucks." replied Anna. "Well the sky is really pretty, sometimes it's cloudy, so it's kinda like now; but most times, the sky is clear and a really pretty blue and sunshine makes the fjord sparkle like diamond."

"Wow..." commented Honeymaren with a smile. "It must be so beautiful. You have a view of the ocean?" asked Honeymaren.

"Yeah! And when I'm in the castle and look out a window, I can see out for forever. It's REALLY pretty!" added Anna with a smile, which was joined by Elsa who added...

"When all of this is done, we'd love for you and your people to visit."

"Thank-you." replied Honeymaren with a big smile, before Elsa added, a little nervously...

"So, what's our grandmother's name?"

"Rona." answered Honeymaren. "She's been ill for a couple of weeks now and she's been getting worse. She can still get up and move around a bit, but she needs help. She has a daughter though whose been tending to her."

"A daughter?" questioned Anna with surprise and Elsa added...

"Mother had a sister? We have an aunt!?"

"Yeah, Magna." replied Honeymaren with a smile. "That's why I said earlier that you look-alike; apparently, they were twins."

"Twins..." commented Elsa. "So she looks like mother... it's going to be really weird when we meet her."

"There's also one other thing you should know." replied Honeymaren with a little nervous smile. "Magna is my mother."

Elsa and Anna both looked shocked and Anna comments...

"Then that means, you're our cousin!"

"Yep." replied Honeymaren. "I have a brother too, Ryder, so you have two cousins." she added, before she gasped when Anna suddenly hugged her.

"It's really nice to met you!"
