It finally happened, Yuya and Celina had finally confessed to each other, pouring out all the truth about their hidden feelings, and were just now savoring their newfound relationship sharing a kiss.
After separating they looked at each other in the eyes.
"Should we say something about this to the others? But if you want it to be a secret I would be fine with it anyway" Yuya said with a curious tone.
Celina blushed a little and brushed her hair before answering.
"While I still feel a little embarassed it wouldn't be fair with Zuzu and the others... I wouldn't have been able to say those words to you without them" Celina said with a little smile.
"Her smile is just so beautiful, and it's for me, I'm the luckiest man in the world" Yuya thought mesmerized.
"His smile is able to make every fear vanish, bringing happiness all around, and now it's directed to me, I feel the luckiest woman in the world" Celina thought in the same situation.
"I see... should we go inside then and end this night?" Yuya said in his showman style.
"With pleasure" Celina said grasping his hand in hers.
And so they come back in, soon their group of friends noticed something was up with them and so they confronted the two.
"I feel like something happened, am I right?" Said Zuzu with a smile.
"Come on, tell us!" Rin said in teasing manner.
"Girls, you shouldn't press them" Lulu said trying to not make Celina uncomfortable.
"Eheheh, I can see it on their faces" Yugo teased more.
"What Lulu said goes for you too, Yugo, sorry for that" Yuto said trying to put an end to the teasing.
But unexpectedly Celina made a bold move here, she gave Yuya a quick kiss on the lips, complete with hands on his cheeks to express a clear message, he felt paralyzed for a moment from her being this forward but what better way to show them honestly? So he then responded by kissing her back, after it finishes they both sport a smile on their face.
"Yeah, Yuya is my boyfriend now" Celina said, happiness evident on her face.
"And Celina is my girlfriend, that's right!" Yuya
Zuzu, Rin and Lulu were quick to hug Celina.
"Congrats Celina... or better... Sis" Zuzu smiled
"Just to be clear, I'm the big sister" Celina said with a smug smile.
"What? That should be me" Zuzu disagreed to that point.
"Why would that matter now? Celina has a boyfriend, we have to party even more" Rin tried to ease the tension.
"Totally Rin, we have to be happy for Celina, she totally deserved it" Lulu agreed.
"We will be back to the big sister matter later, congratulations Celina" Zuzu said understanding there was something more important then.
"Thanks to all of you girls, I wouldn't have been able to be this happy without your help" Celina hugged them back.
Yugo and Yuto put an hand on Yuya's shoulders' each.
"You striked a big score there, dude, Celina is great girl" Yugo congratulated.
"Absolutely, take care of her the best you can" Yuto said agreeing.
"I'll do it, I swear to my honor as a duelist and as a man" Yuya said with a confident look.
"Congrats, I guess" Yuri was also there in the corner, before walking away.
"Thanks Yuri..." Talking with him always made them uncomfortable.
"He will loose up one day, we have to gave him time" Yuto said with a warming tone.
"Yeah, let's hope sooner than later" Yuya said with a smile.
"And now, let me introduce you all to the Arc system for duels, he was our enemy in the war, but he's here to make amends of his past, my father, Leo Akaba." Declan said from the stage, making room for the professor himself.
"Looks like the professor has something to say" Celina thought.
"My greetings, people from the Standard Dimension, I'm here today to hereby say sorry to all of you for what I have done, this whole conflict and the return of a far worse menace happened because of my stupidity and I know I don't deserve forgiveness, but I just want you to know that the Lancers opened my eyes to the truth. I thought I was doing the right thing, trying to get my daughter back, but I then understood how much suffering I created, my own daughter spoke to me, and I realized I was just too stubborn to accept that she sacrificed herself to save the world, and I should have treasured that. My actions nearly got the 4 dimensions destroyed, but luckily the 4 girls that were the reincarnations of Rei managed to save us again, I'm really sorry for what I did, a particular apology goes to them, just know that I'll work hard for something like that to never happen again, thanks for your attentions, goodnight." Leo ended his monologue and left the stage.
"Professor... It's really difficult for me to forgive you for ruining my childhood, even if I understand you only wanted to see Rei again..." Celina thought sadly.
"And now we the announcement for the new Lancers" Declan back on the stage announced.
"This is really interesting" Celina said as Yuya came beside her.
"You bet" They entered a full listening mode.
"Those two are a great couple" Lulu said to Yuto, a little blush was on her face.
"Yeah, both have a big passion for helping others" Yuto agreed, blushing too.
The final act of the night was now, who will the new defender of peace be?
