Yuya and Celina kept walking around the neightbourhood arm in arm, taking some look at each other from time to time.
It was 2:00 a.m. and everyone at the party was already home, they lost track of time just a little bit.
They stopped on the road to their houses, near the river, the full moon of that night was reflected by the water, creating a bright and beautiful effect.
"Wow, I really can't believe it..." Celina said suddenly.
"What exactly?" Yuya said interested.
"Well... me and you, this relationship, how our bond has changed in so little time" Celina tried her best to esternate her thought.
"Do you feel like we are going too fast?" Yuya asked, a little fearful.
"It's not that, but kind of you to ask. I love you and I know what I want" Celina hugged him, closing her eyes.
"As long as you are happy, I am too" Yuya hugged her back.
"I only wish I met you before, Zuzu was really lucky having you as best friend growing up..." Celina said with a little smile.
"I think I was the lucky one... she is an awesome friend, and I feel even more lucky knowing I have you now Celina, you are the girl I love!" Yuya said in a reassuring way.
"Thank you" She leaned her whole body on him.
"Guess I was lucky too in the end uh..." Celina thought as she let out a little yawn and ending their hug.
"It was a magic night Yuya, but I have to get home now" Celina said looking at him.
"Yeah, I feel a little sleepy too honestly, let's go" He answered as they both walked toward their house, reaching it 10 minutes later.
They were in front of the door as suddenly Celina realized something.
"Just now I remembered that I still don't have my copy of the keys... only Zuzu have them" Celina said a little embarassed by the circumstances.
"We can call her through our Duel Disks right?" Yuya proponed his solution.
"You're right, I'll give it a try" Celina took out her Duel Disk to dial Zuzu's number, but sadly there was no response.
"If I have to guess, she probably got home before me and now she is already sleeping with her Duel Disk turned off, maybe she didn't hear me at the party..." And that was just the case, and she knew that by ringing the bell she would wake her newly acquired sister and father up, and she didn't want to do that.
"Would you like to come sleeping at my home?"
Yuya always had a solution ready for her.
"Really? Well, only if your parents don't mind..." Her embarassed self came back, cute as always.
"No problem, I can give you my bed and I'll sleep on the couch, my father is not home and my mother should already be sleeping." Yuya said while rubbing the back of his head.
"Fine, I'll follow your lead then" Celina said as she grabbed his arm with hers.
They soon reached Yuya's home, he was quick in inserting the keys from his pocket, and they went inside, it was dark but they had their duel disk to create the little light they needed.
"Alright, my room is upstairs, first room on the right, the bed is all yours" Yuya said as he take a seat in the couch, removing his shoes.
"I feel bad in taking your bed... I should be the one to sleep on the couch..." Celina was a little uncomfortable.
"You are my guest, please don't worry about that, the couch is fine for me if I know you have a comfy bed" Yuya said smiling, he always knew what to say to make her feel safe and cared, that's when her bolder side decided to take over.
"You know, I have an idea..." Celina said with a confident and somewhat mischievous smile, taking a seat herself on the couch beside him, before removing her heels from her feet.
"What..." He was surprised to have Celina pouncing on him like a cat on its prey, but it had no violent intent, much more the opposite.
"I don't want to sleep alone, I want my boyfriend beside me" Celina said in an amorous tone as she looked intensely in his eyes, hands on his cheeks and proceeded to kiss him.
Yuya was overwhelmed by the feeling of the situation, he knew they loved each other but would they be able to go beyond?
Before he had an answer Celina stopped and got off of him, simply laying beside him.
"Celina, I..." It was hard to elaborate in his shocked state.
She knew what he was thinking by his look, and smile reassuringly.
"It's too early now for that but... remember? We have lots of new things to discover together, and we will both know when the time for that is right" Celina said to ease him from the embarassment with her confident expression.
"You are really something else... but I mean, I would love to do that in the future if it's with you" Yuya said with still a prominent blush on his face.
"Glad to know it, I love you, Yuya, goodnight" Celina said as she closed her eyes and succumbed to sleep.
"Love you too Celina, have a goodnight too" Yuya closed his too, joining her.
Both were enjoying each other's warmth as they laid beside each other, while resting also dreaming about what the future may hold in store for them.
