New school, Same old problems:
Samantha waited outside the main entrance for Miguel and Yasmine and Moon came up to her and Yasmine said "Hey Sam. So, we hear that you've stopped talking to Kyler".
Samantha answered, "He's a bully and not good enough for me".
Yasmine said "Well, I think you should hear Kyler's end of the story before you reject him completely. He likes you and wants to talk".
Moon said "Yeah, hear him out first".
Samantha responded "Thanks. I'll keep that in mine".
Yasmine said "All right. Later bitch, see you in class". Yasmine and Moon left and went inside.
Samantha looked around wondering if Yasmine and Moon were right and she should just hear Kyler out when she saw Miguel and called out "Miguel. Hey, are you Miguel".
Miguel went over to her and said "Sam LaRusso".
Samantha answered "Yeah, that's me".
Miguel said "So, your dad has talked to you".
Samantha responded "Yeah, I heard and I'm so sorry for what happened to you. Nobody deserves that. And since you're new here, how about I show you around. Help you get to know the school and maybe meet some friends".
Miguel thought that Samantha was beautiful, and he was so happy that she was so nice and showing him around. He thought that maybe he wouldn't need Karate, and he was just overreacting. They were just pissed about the beer and don't actually care about bullying him. Miguel and Samantha entered the school and Kyler saw them together. Kyler recognised him as the boy that he was beating up before Samantha's dad got in the way. And now they were talking to each other. Brucks said "Hey, that's Rhea, and with Sam".
Kyler stated "Oh, he's so going to get it".
Samantha led Miguel to class, and she said "So, here we are".
Miguel said, "It's a nice place".
Samantha said "So, at lunch. Find me in the cafeteria and I'll introduce you to people".
Miguel responded, "Can't wait".
Samantha said, "Have a nice first day".
Miguel responded, "You to". Samantha smiled at him before going to class herself.
During lunch Miguel gets food from the cafeteria and searches for Samantha and sees Kyler and his friends at the vending machine. He tells himself to not be worried about them and moves on. He looks around for Samantha and sees two boys sitting alone at a table by themselves and thinks to himself that he would ask to sit there if Samantha wasn't waiting for him. He hears Samantha call out "Miguel. Miguel. Over here".
Miguel sees Samantha had just got her food with a friend and they were about to sit at a table with more friends. Yasmine asked, "Sam. What are you doing".
Samantha answers as they both sit "Being nice".
Miguel goes over to them and sits down in the empty seat and says "Hi ladies. I'm Miguel".
Moon responds, "I'm Moon and this is my friend Yasmine".
Yasmine said "Moon, don't speak to him". She then said to Miguel "Sorry, but this is a loser free zone, and you need to leave".
Miguel attempted to get up, but Samantha said, "No. He's new here and hasn't made friends, so we're going to help him".
Moon said "Aww, that's so sweet".
Yasmine exclaimed "No it isn't. He's a loser and I don't want him here. He's not welcome".
Kyler walked over and said, "No. He isn't".
Miguel tried to stand up, but Kyler forced him down. Samantha said "Back off Kyler. You don't need to behave like this".
Kyler tells Miguel "First, you stop me from buying beer and now you move in on my girl. You just don't know when to mind your own business do you Rhea. But this time you don't have Sam's dad to save you".
Samantha said, "I said back off Kyler".
Kyler turned to Samantha and said "You LaRusso's are the same. Don't know how to mind your own business. Now back off before your next". The cafeteria gave an ooh in intrigue and Kyler said, "You're finally getting what you deserve Rhea".
Kyler attempted to punch Miguel, but Samantha knocked his arm away. Everyone was shocked to see this and Samantha said "Back off Kyler. I will not allow you to hurt anybody".
Brucks said "I think she's asking for it as well".
Kyler responded, "I don't usually fight girls, but you seem to want one don't you LaRusso".
Samantha got in a fighting stance and Brucks said "Oh, she does want it".
Yasmine asked, "Sam. What in the hell do you think you are doing".
Moon said "Yeah, can't we just all sit down and be friends".
Kyler said, "You're going to be sorry Sam".
Samantha responded, "I'm sorry I ever talked to you".
Kyler lunged at Samantha with a punch, but she dodged it. He was angered that she like her dad was making a fool of him and the cafeteria appeared to be on her side. He lunged at her again, but she moved out of the way and grabbed his arm and forced his own arm up making himself punch himself in the face. The entire cafeteria saw this and was astonished by what Samantha had done. Kyler said "That's enough LaRusso. I've had enough of you and your dad's shit".
Kyler launched a tirade of punches at Samantha, and she knocked away every single one. After knocking them away Samantha said, "Had enough Kyler, because you haven't even landed a punch". The cafeteria laughed at Kyler and Kyler ran towards Samantha, but she moved away and as he ran past her, she grabbed his arm and flung him to the ground. Kyler was astonished by what just happened, especially by being beat up by a girl. He would be a laughingstock. Samantha then put her foot onto his back and said "I told you to back off. Now, go. Go and stop bullying people before I have to actually beat you up. And you don't want to be beaten by a girl do you".
Samantha took her foot off Kyler and Kyler got up and looked around him. He knew that he couldn't continue or fight Samantha more because if he did, he'd lose or be hated because he beat up a woman. He had no choice but to leave and began to leave. Him and his friends left the cafeteria. As they left the cafeteria cheered for Samantha and Miguel said "Sam. That was great. How did you do that".
Moon said, "Full woman power right there".
Aisha said, "Sam. That was amazing".
Yasmine said, "More like scary".
Samantha remarked "Good thing I'm not fighting you then am I".
Miguel said, "I definitely need to learn that".
Samantha said "I'm sure my dad will be glad to. I'll take you to him after school if you wish".
Miguel responded, "That would be great".
At the end of the school day Samantha and Miguel leaving when Aisha walked over to them and said "Sam. You just started a revolution. Look".
They turned to see Demetri and Eli walking past Kyler and his friends and Demetri said, "Hi Kyler".
Kyler arced up and said "You wanna say something. Do you loser".
Demetri retorted "I would but since you just got beat up by a girl. I'm not afraid".
Everyone laughed at Kyler and Demetri and Eli left. Kyler wanted to beat them up for that but knew that there was nothing he could do. Because he would never get over being beaten up by a girl. Samantha was happy with what she did today and was for standing up for what is right. Samantha and Miguel went to Samantha's car and Samantha asked, "Ready to see my dad".
Miguel answered "Yeah, I can't wait to learn what you both know".
Samantha answered "My dad will be happy to teach. It made him happy to teach me".
Miguel responded, "Then I'm happy to be his student". Miguel and Samantha got into the car and Samantha drove them to LaRusso Auto.
They arrived at LaRusson Auto and upon seeing the sign and the store Miguel asked, "Your dad owns all of this".
Samantha responds "This is just the first one. He's got four more".
Miguel responded "Wow".
Miguel and Samantha exited and went into the dealership. Samantha called out "Dad. Hey dad".
Daniel turned and upon seeing them walked over and said "Aww, there's the face I needed to see today". Daniel hugged Samantha and asked, "How was your first day back at school".
Samantha answered, "That's kinda why we're here".
Amanda burst over and yelled "Samantha LaRusso. What the hell is this".
Amanda showed all of them the video on her phone of Samantha beating up Kyler. Samantha responded "Mom. It's not what it looks like".
Miguel said "Yeah, she was only helping me".
Daniel said "Okay, okay, okay. Sam, what happened".
Samantha answered "Kyler tried to start a fight at lunch. I told him to leave us alone and he wouldn't".
Amanda said "So, you beat him up".
Samantha said "I didn't even touch him. I just made him hurt himself".
Daniel said "So, you just stopped him from hurting other kids. I'm so proud of you Samantha".
Amanda turned to Daniel and said "Daniel. We should not be encouraging this".
Daniel responded "Why not. She stopped a guy that was harassing her and look at all these comments. Girl power. Girl power. Revolution. Men getting what they deserve. This is what will happen to all men if you try to fuck with us. Look, there's nothing bad here".
Amanda said, "I don't want to encourage my children to fight".
Daniel retorted "She was defending herself. And I'm happy that someone is there to put a stop to the bullying that go on in these schools".
Amanda asked "So, you want our daughter to handle ever problem with her fist".
Daniel retorted "She didn't use her fist, and yes, I do. I want her to defend herself. And especially against boys like that because they are the ones that try to take advantage of girls like her".
Samantha said "Mom. I'm sorry. I tried to handle it another way, but he wouldn't leave. I tried and when he threatened to hurt me".
Amanda exclaimed "He tried to hurt you. Oh, that's it. I'm getting that little abuser expelled".
Amanda tried to call West Valley high by Samantha stopped her and said "I can look after myself mom. And I did. Kyler won't try anything again. He was laughed out of school today. Even the dorks were picking on him".
Amanda remarked "Well, that's what he gets for trying to hit a woman".
Miguel said "And I want to learn what you know Mr LaRusso. I know you taught Sam, and I want you to teach me".
Daniel asked, "What did your mother say".
Miguel answered, "She told me no but please, please, you have to teach me".
Daniel sighed annoyed and said, "I shouldn't but after this". Daniel sighed again and said "How about this. I give you a job at LaRusso Auto and we can begin your training as well. How does that sound".
Miguel said "That would be great Mr LaRusso. I won't let you down".
Daniel said "All right. Amanda, get him all set up. We have a new employee at LaRusso Auto. I need to get back to work". Daniel then gave Samantha a kiss on the forehead and said "Love you. Be safe on the road. And get your homework done".
Samantha responded, "Of course dad".
Daniel left back to the sales floor and Amanda said "Come on. Let's get you all setup".
Robby came home from school and saw his father outside his house. Robby asked, "What are you doing here dad".
Johnny answered "Sorry I haven't been able to come over until now. I had a bit of trouble getting a job, but my friend Bobby helped this guy in construction with his marriage and he vouched for me. Especially when he heard that I wanted to change my life around, but I now have to go to church every Sunday and hear his sermons, so that's something".
Robby asked, "He's making you go to church".
Johnny answered "He's helped me out a lot. So, I really had to do something for it this time".
Robby asked "So, can we finally learn Karate".
Johnny went to the boot of his car and said "I wore this when I was training for my first tournament back in 81. I want you to have it".
Johnny passed it to Robby and Robby asked "So, are we Cobra Kai".
Johnny answered, "Hell yeah we are". Robby and Johnny hugged, and Johnny said "Come on, get that on. We gotta lot of work to do if we're going to enter you in the All Valley".
Robby asked, "All Valley what's that".
Johnny answered "The Karate tournament. I'm in fact a two-time champion".
Robby asked, "And you think I can enter".
Johnny answered "Of course. I know you can do it. You're strong Robby and you can be champion but you gotta put the work in first".
Robby responded "Then let's do this. Let's smash the competition and put Cobra Kai on top". Johnny and Robby left to begin their training.
Miguel went home that night and when he entered his mother hugged him and asked, "How was your first day at school Miggy".
Miguel answered "It was good. I even decided to help out and got a job".
Carmen and Rosa were surprised by this and Carmen asked "Job. Job. Where are you working at Miggy".
Miguel answered "LaRusso Auto. They were hiring and after seeing how much you have to do mom. I decided to help out".
Carmen responded "Miggy, you don't have to. We can manage. I just want you to focus on your schoolwork".
Miguel responded "It's okay mom. I can do that and get my homework done. It's a great opportunity and be a good reference for college".
Rosa said in Spanish "If can handle it and someone's willing to hiring him then I think it'd be great to have a little extra money around here".
Carmen turned to Miguel and said "Only if you can get your schoolwork done. I don't want your grades getting lower".
Miguel hugged his mother and said "I promise mom. Love you".
Carmen responded, "love you to Miggy". She then said, "Let's sit down and eat". They all sat down, and Carmen asked "So, Miggy. How many days is it".
Miguel answered "4-7pm Wednesdays and Fridays. And 9-5 on Saturday".
Rosa said in Spanish "That's good Miggy. A bit of hard work will be good for you. Don't want to be like those lazy, rich, spoiled kids".
Miguel responded, "I won't Yaya".
Rosa responded "Good. Now eat. I spent hours slaving in there for you".
Carmen said, "We know Momma".
