Halloween Fight:

At school in the cafeteria Yasmine agreed to sit with Moon, Samantha, Aisha, Miguel, Demetri, and Eli if Aisha, Miguel, Eli, and especially Demetri didn't talk to her. Counsellor Blatt talks to them about the Halloween dance and how they should dress and behave. Aisha suggested that she goes as Sodium and Samantha as Chloride and when they are asked what they are, they pour table salt. Samantha laughed at this, and Yasmine asked if it was a dumb inside joke they had, and Aisha told her that it wasn't inside because Sodium Chloride was table salt. Yasmine accepted this and said that she was kidding. Samantha told Aisha "We already decided to go as Laker girls".

Demetri remarked "Can't wait to see that". Everyone turned to him and Demetri backed off and said "Sorry".

Aisha said "Oh, so you already have plans".

Samantha said, "But maybe we could order another".

Yasmine said, "They're one size fits all, which suddenly seems like false advertising".

Samantha exclaimed, "Yas".

Yasmine responded uncaringly "Sorry".

Samantha turned to Aisha and said "Surely, there is another good idea for your costume. One that's better".

Demetri remarked "I highly doubt that".

Miguel said, "I'm going as Deadpool, and they are".

Demetri answered "I was going to go as a Necromancer, but I think I've changed my mind. Maybe a Laker player".

Yasmine remarked "Eww. Do you have to".

Moon said "No. It'd be great. You know work with our costumes. Like we're cheering them on". She then turned to Eli and said "Eli, you have to go as a Laker".

Eli was not expecting the attention but responded "Okay".

Yasmine remarked "Great".

Samantha said "Miguel, you can go to".

Miguel responded "I did have my heart set on Deadpool but it's not a bad idea. Hey Aisha, you can be our coach. You know boss us around. I'll change from Deadpool if you agree".

Aisha responded in delight "Okay, that sounds great. Better than going as one of a pair, or table salt for that matter".

Yasmine remarked "Great. One massive group going together".

Miguel said "Yeah, and it makes it way better than just trying to look like sluts"

Demetri turned to Yasmine and said, "I don't mind".

Yasmine retorted "Back away from me Dork".

Demetri backed off and said "Okay".

Samantha turned to Miguel and said, "This is going to be great".

Kyler was staring at them and grew more angered the more he stared. Brucks asked "Kyler, do you wanna go as pirates". Kyler ignored him and Brucks asked "Dude. What are you staring at". Brucks then noticed he was staring at Miguel and said "Rhea. You're staring at Rhea".

Kyler answered "Yeah. How does a loser like that just waltz in here and stop us from getting beer and then move in on my girl".

Brucks said "Just leave it alone dude. Nobody is laughing at you anymore".

Kyler said "Rhea aint getting away with it. He's going to pay. He's going to be sorry he ever came to this school".

As they left the cafeteria Samantha said to Miguel "Thanks. For the coach idea. I'm happy Aisha's joining us. I'd hate to leave her out".

Miguel responded "You're welcome. She's your friend and now you can go together without changing your costume or being elements".

Samantha said, "It was kinda lame".

Miguel answered "Hella lame. But now you don't have to worry".

Samantha was happy to hear this and asked "So, how's training with my dad".

Miguel answered "Great. Lotta hard work. And breathing. So much breathing. I didn't know I could breathe so much, and I do it constantly".

Samantha laughed and said, "My dad like to make you breathe and do chores but it's all worth it when you see the results".

Miguel answered "That night in the dojo. You wouldn't believe my face when I blocked all those attacks without thinking or knowing that I was training".

Samantha said "That's my dad's specialty. But how's working for him at the dealership".

Miguel answered "Good. Getting paid is nice but he is somehow more stricter there he is as a sensei". Samantha laughed again and Miguel said, "Your dad said he had a surprise for me next shift at the dealership".

Samantha responded "Ooh. I know what that means. Trust me, my dad's trust with you with this is basically telling you he trusts you more than family. It took him ages to trust my mom with them".

Miguel asked, "Can you tell me what it is",

Samantha answered, "No. You'll just have to find out for yourself".

Miguel was annoyed and said "Aw. Really. Not even a hint".

Samantha answered "No".

Miguel remarked "Now that's just mean".

Samantha, Miguel, Yasmine, Moon, and Aisha were waiting outside the school and Yasmine remarked "I can't believe I'm doing this".

Moon said "Come on Yas. We have to wait for Demetri and Eli".

Aisha said "Yeah, if you don't, you won't look cool. You don't wanna not look cool do you".

Yasmine was stunned that she was being told how to be cool by Aisha and disgusted that someone as fuggily as her was telling her how to be cool. Demetri and Eli arrived, and Demetri said, "Hello girls, ready to cheer us on".

Yasmine groaned and Miguel said, "Ready to lead us in Aisha".

Aisha responded "Of course. Come on team, let's go".

Aisha began to lead them, and Yasmine remarked "I can't believe we're doing this". Yasmine then followed the others inside.

As the group partied together, and Yasmine didn't hear any negative comments began to enjoy herself. Kyler noticed this and seeing the girls that he used to like to hang out with, hanging out with Miguel and his loser friends, couldn't hold back anymore or wait for a better time. He needed to get his revenge now and Samantha wouldn't be able to save Miguel this time. Kyler said "It's time. Let's go". Kyler's friends were confused but followed. Kyler went over to the group and said "Look who we have here. A bunch of Laker losers".

Brucks remarked "That's a good one Kyler".

Miguel responded "Not now Kyler. This is a party, go have fun and leave us alone. We're enjoying ourselves and not having you here so leave, or I'll have to make you leave".

Kyler retorted "Not going to have your girlfriend save you this time Rhea".

Miguel answered, "Don't want you to be beaten up by a girl twice".

The students all paid attention and gave an "Ooh".

Counsellor Blatt tried to rush over to intervene, but Kyler said "You're gonna get it this time Rhea".

Kyler attempted to punch Miguel, but he blocked it. Kyler not being beaten again tried to put Miguel in a headlock, but Miguel moved completely blocking and avoiding Kyler. Kyler wasn't expecting this, and Miguel launched a strike forward towards an unbalanced Kyler and knocking him over the nearby table and knocking all the food off it. Miguel turned to Kyler's friends and asked, "You want some".

None of them wanted to fight Miguel and Counsellor Blatt grabbed Miguel and said to everyone "Halloween dance is over. Go home". She then turned to Miguel and said "You. You're coming with me". Counsellor Blatt led Miguel away to cheers from the students. Counsellor Blatt led Miguel to her office and said, "I'm calling your mother".

Miguel really hoped that Rosa answered because he knew that she'd be proud of him. Counsellor Blatt rang Carmen and said "Ms Diaz".

Carmen answered "Uh, yeah".

Counsellor Blatt said "I'm Counsellor Blatt. Counsellor at West Valley High School. Your son Miguel was caught fighting at the school dance".

Carmen asked "Fighting. My son doesn't fight".

Counsellor Blatt said, "We'd like you to pick him up from the school right away".

Carmen said, "I'm on my way".

Carmen hung up and Counsellor Blatt said "My office Monday morning. We'll talk about your punishment then".

Miguel was shocked and said "But I wasn't fighting. Kyler came up to me".

Counsellor Blatt responded "We'll talk about this Monday. Good night, Mr Diaz".

Miguel groaned and left Counsellor Blatt's office. Miguel went outside and saw that Samantha was still there. Samantha asked, "How did it go".

Miguel answered, "She wants to talk about my punishment on Monday morning".

Samantha said "Don't worry. We'll defend you. We were all there".

Miguel responded "Thanks".

Carmen sped up to the school and opened the passenger door and yelled "Miguel Diaz. Get in the car. Now".

Miguel sighed and remarked to Samantha "That's never good".

Samantha said, "See you Monday".

Miguel responded, "See you Monday".

Miguel and Samantha both realised they wanted to kiss each other and as they moved forward Carmen beeped the car horn and said "Miguel Diaz. I told you to get in the cow".

Miguel said, "Gotta go" and rushed to the car. Samantha realised what they were about to do and realised that she had feelings for Miguel.

Carmen sped home and asked, "Why did I get a call from the school saying you were fighting".

Miguel answered, "Because I was in a fight".

Carmen responded "You never get into fights. I taught you better than that".

Miguel answered "I didn't want to fight. The guy forced me".

Carmen asked, "How did he force you".

Miguel answered "By trying to punch me. I just defended myself".

Carmen asked, "Is that true".

Miguel answered "Yes. I would never lie to you mom".

Carmen asked, "Who is this jerk that's picking on my son".

Miguel answered, "Just a guy that was upset I accidently revealed was a minor when he and his friends were trying to get beer".

Carmen asked, "When was this".

Miguel answered, "Just before school started".

Carmen said "I knew there was a reason you came back empty handed. Did they hurt you then".

Miguel answered "Yes".

Carmen asked, "Why didn't you say anything".

Miguel answered, "Because it was no big deal".

Carmen responded "No big deal. Those thugs were beating up my son".

Miguel said "It didn't matter. I had help".

Carmen asked "Help. Help from who".

Miguel answered "Mr LaRusso".

Carmen responded "Your boss. He's been telling you to fight".

Miguel answered "No. He's been teaching me to defend myself. He's my Sensei".

Carmen asked "Sensei. Why is he teaching you Karate when he's supposed to be your boss".

Miguel responded "He is. He just teaches me Karate afterwards".

Carmen said, "Well I don't want you hanging him around him anymore and I want you to quit that job".

Miguel exclaimed "Mom. I need to be taught. I need to learn how to defend myself. Mr LaRusso helped me defend myself against those thugs".

Carmen said, "I still don't want you to fight".

Miguel responded "Mr LaRusso doesn't teach me to fight. He doesn't want me fighting. He wants me to be prepared if the fight comes. And it came".

Carmen sighed and asked, "How's the school punishing you".

Miguel answered "I don't know. They'll tell me Monday".

Carmen remarked "They better punish the other boys as well. And don't tell your grandmother this. She'll give you praise and reward you for what you did". Miguel knew that his grandmother would, and after a little bit with Miguel knowing his mother's mind was racing, she asked "Who was that girl".

Miguel answered, "Just a friend". Miguel knew that upon saying this he didn't just view Samantha as a friend and felt something more for her. But he didn't know how to go about it because of everything that Daniel has done for him and how great friends him and Samantha had become.

Samantha drove home and called out "Dad. Dad".

Daniel and Amanda came out of their bedroom and Daniel asked, "What is it Sam".

Samantha answered "It's Miguel. Kyler attacked him at the school".

Daniel asked "Is he alright. Is he hurt".

Samantha answered "He's fine. He defended himself but counsellor Blatt caught him and on Monday is going to punish him".

Daniel said, "Did you see this fight".

Samantha answered "Everyone did. It was in the middle of the gym".

Daniel asked, "Was it caught on camera".

Samantha answered "I believe so. I saw a lot of cameras".

Daniel responded "Good. It'll most likely be posted online already and they'll look at it before he even goes in. So, call him and tell him that on Monday you'll pick him up and don't leave his side. You go with him to Counsellor Blatt and if needed defend him".

Samantha responded, "Of course dad". Samantha wanted to confess to her father about what nearly happened with Miguel but thought it was best to stay silent and said, "I'm tired and I'm going to go to bed".

Daniel said, "Goodnight Sam".

Amanda said, "Goodnight, Sweetheart".

Samantha said, "Goodnight mom".
