"Join me," said Doloran dramatically, holding a hand out for Roland to grab.

"No," refused Roland as he crossed his arms.

"Join me," repeated Doloran.

"No."

"Join me," growled Doloran in frustration.

"No."

"Join me!" the wizard's tone turned demanding.

"I refuse," Roland stood his ground.

"Join me!"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"I'll be your friend," Doloran pleaded with a whine in his voice.

"No."

"Come on!"

"Not going to do it."
