A/N There's been some hints along the way as to who or rather what, exactly the imp is that followed the Scoobies home, but so far no one's guessed it. The language used by this imp is modern, but the phrasing is similar to the way it's used by him in the source material. We'll be meeting him before too much longer.
In all my previous crosses with Stargate and Stargate Atlantis Xander and Cordelia always have the Ancient gene. I always assumed those who had it naturally had it because of an Ancient ancestor, technically speaking, as far as I know, that's never actually confirmed on either show. Since I've had Dr. Weir state such a connection in this story, I can't have this Xander and Cordelia linked to the Ancients because that would bring the Ancients into their reality as well and I've already established that both they and Stargate Command don't exist in the Scoobies' prime reality.

"So, Doc, are we healthy?" Xander asked, though he already knew they were. As a demigoddess, Cordelia could only be affected by a few things and he was protected from things like disease and old age by the ankh. Slayers could get sick, but they recovered a whole lot faster than normal humans. Amy, though, was still susceptible to all the same things most humans were. He was curious though what the scanner might show regarding them.
"Remarkably so." The doctor answered as she studied the results. "Perfect blood pressure, cholesterol, no signs of disease of any sort, no signs of any injuries. I'm given to understand you engaged in close quarter combat with the Wraith less then an hour ago. None of you have so much as a bruised area anywhere on you and no indication of any previous injuries. Yet I'm told you're soldiers, how long have you served and how many battles have you participated in?"
"Me personally," Xander answered. "since about three weeks passed my sixteenth birthday and three major engagements," thinking about the Harvest, the Master opening the Hellmouth and his followers trying to resurrect him. "and a number of smaller engagements during that time. A single injury beyond bruises in that time, I was knocked unconscious and had a concussion. Oh and once against some Jaffa."
"I was peripherally involved in one of those," Cordelia told the doctor. "and directly involved in the other three, including the one with the Jaffa, including being unconscious myself in the same one Xander was. I was kidnapped and nearly killed and roofied and nearly killed as well during that time."
"I have engaged in a few battles myself." Kendra admitted. "And was poisoned and died once, but was revived, about six months ago."
"Ames and I've got the short end of the stick." Faith muttered. "I think today was our first real battle."
"Actually, I also helped with the Jaffa." Amy admitted. "While the rest were fighting our war, I was pretty much a prisoner in my own home. And no, I won't discuss that with you, it's personal. If I need to talk to someone, I talk to my father or Ms. Calendar, sometimes Mrs. Summers."
Xander was rather surprised both his and Faith's violent childhoods weren't showing up. Did being a Slayer or having the ankh fix passed evidence of injuries?
"Well, if you're done, Doc, I'll just take them to see Elizabeth then." Sheppard offered, his own exam being done as well.
"Sure, go ahead." The doctor said absently, still studying the results. "Their medicine must be really advanced," she murmured. "all but one of them are in absolutely perfect health. Remarkable."
"Dr. Weir asked me to bring you to the room with the ZPM in it." Sheppard told them, leading them down the hall. "She'd like to see a demonstration of this drawing of energy Ms. Calendar mentioned. McKay wants to watch, he's very sceptical."
"I can try." Xander responded. "I've never tried drawing zero point energy before, normally I draw from different dimensions, but theoretically I should be able to draw energy from within this dimension as well, I just need to get a feel for it." He and the four girls followed Colonel Sheppard and soon arrived at the room in question. They made note of the fact that there were quite a few guards, all armed. A sensible precaution, but if the Scoobies wanted to cause a problem, they wouldn't be enough to stop them. Good thing for the expedition that they didn't want to cause any problems. "I've been thinking about this, Dr. Weir said both you and Jack have a genetic connection to the Ancients. Jack has a natural and easy skill for drawing and using the energy, it's possible you do too, Colonel."
"They both have an ease with the technology that no one else has managed." Dr. Weir admitted.
"Then you may be the easiest to teach how to do this." Xander decided. "Let me see if I can get a feel for the energy and draw it. If I can, then I can show you how to do it. Sound good?"
"I'm game, if Dr. Weir doesn't have a problem with it."
"We do need to be able to do it for ourselves, so I'll allow it." Dr. Weir agreed. "But I want Dr. McKay monitoring everything."
"Sure, not a problem. Amy will be monitoring me." Xander lifted the large yellow crystal up and extended his senses, getting a feel for the energy and once he had it, he began drawing it, channeling it into the crystal. Those watching saw it begin to glow from within and could only marvel at something they'd thought they might never learn how to do, recharge a ZPM.
