At the abandoned building that serves as Danzo's base of operations, he has been hiding there in order to complete the sealing Ninjutsu, it was a very complicated Jutsu that was required to fully seal away Kagutsuchi inside the Scroll.
The complexity of this Ninjutsu was shown many times as Danzo tries to perfectly complete it, ever since Kagutsuchi's soul was transferred to the Scroll, he has been trying to fully seal him away for days, though the results haven't been positive so far.
Danzo is inside a special room designed for said Ninjutsu, he's sitting on the floor performing some hand signs and in front of him, was a large circle drawn with chalk and several arrows pointing to the center, inside said center was the Seal Scroll that Kagutsuchi was sealed inside of.
Danzo then opens his eyes and puts his hand on the floor, then, the circle glows in energy as it gets transferred to the scroll, coated it in energy as well.
Watching from outside the room was Gashadokuro, he has been watching Danzo trying to make that Jutsu work for days, and yet, nothing so far, so he's already expecting it to fail again.
And to no one's surprise, it did fail, the scroll releases a burst of energy that pushes Danzo away. Once again, the Jutsu has failed, Gashadokuro enters the room and grabs the scroll.
"You have been trying to do this thing for days." Gashadokuro said, both very annoyed and impatient "When exactly is it gonna get ready to be used?!"
Danzo gets up and doesn't say a word as he takes the scroll of Gashadokuro's hand.
"While I understand your frustration, you need to be patient my friend." Danzo said "Unlike you, who doesn't have a plan and simply does whatever your heart desires, I like to prepare myself for any situation I would find myself in." Danzo said, insulting Gashadokuro, who responds by pointing his sword at him.
"Because planning it's hard and wastes precious time, precious time that I could be using to cut those ninjas into pieces!" Gashadokuro shouts.
"Trust me, you will have your time to have fun my friend." Danzo said, not unfazed by the sword pointing at him as he calmly push it downwards with his finger "In the meantime, try to be more patient while I perfect the ritual."
"Are you sure this is even gonna work? I mean, it's been days and so far, not a single successful result!" Gashadokuro said. "Couldn't you have gone for an easier Yokai pick, why Kagutsuchi?
"Because it couldn't be just any Yokai, and just a reminder, I wasn't the one that chose Kagutsuchi, it was Shuten Douji." Danzo said.
"Indeed it was." An ominous voice suddenly appears and Shuten Douji, in his incorporeal form, appears in front of the two.
"H-Hey there boss, it's been a while since we last saw you!" Gashadokuro said in a very nervous tone.
"I heard your complaints, Gashadokuro." Shuten Douji said.
"C-Complaints you said?" Gashadokuro said, nervous and despite not being able to move his face, he was definitely afraid "What complaints exactly?"
"Don't play a fool with me, you sack of bones." Despite his calm tone, there was a hint of anger in Shuten Douji's voice. "Not only have you tried to attack the ninjas on your own, you shown a degree of impatience every time Danzo failed the ritual."
"B-B-But boss, it's been days and nothing!" Gashadokuro shouts "And since we are talking about this thing, why couldn't you have picked a better Yokai? Why of all of them, it had to be Kagutsuchi?!"
"Are you…. Questioning my decision?" Shuten Douji said, his eyes briefly glowing in anger.
Despite his current situation, the leader of the Yokais still holds a large amount of power, he demonstrates this by raising his right arm and summon a large Kanabo, it looks similar to the Oni Yokai, though it's larger in size, several spikes coming out of it and rings on the end of it, this is Shuten Douji's primary weapon, the Yopparai no Akuma, meaning Drunken Devil.
Like its owner, the Yopparai no Akuma is also incorporeal, despite this, Shuten Douji grabs the club and slams it on the building's floor, it causes a powerful tremor, leaving the building trembling with Gashadokuro and Danzo almost losing their balance, though the former does lose his and falls on the floor.
Gashadokuro looks up and sees Shuten Douji pointing the club at him "Wait, wait boss! I didn't mean to question your decision or anything! I was just, you know, curious as to why you made such a magnificent decision, that's all!" He said in a very panicked tone.
"Curious huh?" Shuten-Douji said, then he notices his body is slowly disappearing. "Since I can't retain this state for long, I will give you a brief explanation." He said "The Yokais that manage to escape being sealed away are more powerful compared to the ones that were sealed, Kagutsuchi was one of those, and was indeed one of the strongest." Shuten-Douji said before disappearing.
The two watch as the purple energy dissipates itself around the room, Gashadokuro gets up as he takes a deep breath, it almost looked like he was going to have a heart attack due to how nervous he was.
"Note to self: Don't make the leader of all Yokais angry." Danzo said.
"Ah shut up!" Gashadokuro shouts "Anyway, you better make this whole thing work, I don't want this to have been a waste of time."
"Oh don't worry, I won't disappoint you." Danzo said "Now if you excuse me, I'll go back to perform the Jutsu, only go after me if there's anything important happening." Danzo said as he walks back to the room.
You better, I'll just take a nap." Gashadokuro said as he walks to a room to nap for a bit.
Elsewhere in the Shinobi Temple, a day has passed since Hyuuga and Tsubaki encountered the Yokai Nue, who was revealed to have been the one that killed Tsubaki's parents, and proven himself to be far stronger than her.
Tsubaki is currently being taken care of by some servants of the temple who are specialized in healing. She's still unconscious and hasn't opened her eyes in a while. She's alive, but they don't know when she'll wake up.
Outside the room is Hyuuga, despite the usual fights he has with Tsubaki, he cares for her, and that caring is shown by him patiently waiting outside, and looking to see how she's doing.
"It's been a day and nothing, she hasn't even opened her eyes in a while." Hyuuga said "I had never seen Kusanagi that angrier before, but it makes sense, after all…. She was face-to-face with her parents' killer."
Hyuuga reminisces of the encounter with Nue, then bringing Tsubaki to the temple and talking with the Sages.
"Nue you say?" One of the Sages spoke upon hearing the Yokai's name.
"Yeah, he said it himself." Hyuuga said, the three Sages then look at each other as they process this new information.
"How's Miss Tsubaki?" One of the Sages asked.
"The servants said she's fine, but she suffered a lot of injuries from Nue's attacks and was rendered unconscious because of that." Hyuuga said "Nue…. I'm gonna make him pay for what he did to Kusanagi!"
"We understand your anger, but you can't let it dictate your actions and cloud your judgment." One of the sages said.
"Indeed, anger is a powerful emotion, but a deadly one as well." One of the Sages said "Anger can cloud one's mind, a monster that destroys from within, and an almost impossible enemy to conquer."
"So what?! You want me to just leave that Yokai to do whatever the hell he wants?!" Hyuuga shouts "He's murdered Kusanagi's parents! He must be dealt with now!"
"And that's the same exact thought that led to Miss Tsubaki's current situation!" One of the Sages shout, despite the anger tone, there's no aggression there, this cause Hyuuga to flinch a bit "We do understand her situation, however, she led her emotions get the better of her, the only thing in her mind was getting revenge, regardless of the consequences."
Hyuuga was about to open his mouth to say something, but he couldn't think of the right words to argue because they were right. The anger over encountering her parents' murdered clouded Tsubaki's mind, filling her with desire for revenge, and it also caused her to be severely injured in the process.
"We know that you are concerned about Miss Tsubaki, so, stand by her side, until she can recover from this." One of the Sages said.
"... Yeah, you're right, she needs someone right now, and that one is me." Hyuuga said.
The flashback ends, Hyuuga is still standing outside of the room and he sighs, both in frustration and to let out some of his anger that has been building up for a bit.
He's about to take a look inside the room again, but then sees the servants leaving it. After they are done leaving, he sees that the door is still open and decides to enter the room, seeing Tsubaki, still unconscious with bandages placed on top of her injuries and on a futon.
Hyuuga takes a lot at her, seeing her in this state fills him with anger as he clenches his hands and bites his lips.
"Kusanagi…. I shouldn't blame you for doing this to you, you saw the guy that killed your parents. Anyone would be filled with those desires for revenge and anger, even I!" Hyuuga said "... When my mom was killed, I gave up continuing my training, and eventually anything related to the ninjas. Yet…. I had a desire for revenge, wanting to go after the bastards that killed her and make them pay and suffer, suffer the same way they made my mom suffer….!"
Hyuuga took a deep breath to calm down a bit, as thinking about his mother's death sometimes angers him.
"Luckily, the old man was there, and he was the one that helped me realize what an idiot I was being." Hyuuga said, remembering the time Haruki helped him overcome his desire for revenge.
It has been a few days since his mother's death, Haruki was trying his best to take care of the family as a single father, it hasn't been easy, but he was trying his best.
Due to Hyuuga neglecting his training, Haruki would start training Mika, since she was the second and middle child of the family, and was also teaching Riku everything ninja related.
In one particular night while everyone was asleep, Hyuuga, who was having trouble sleeping because he couldn't stop thinking about his mom, decided that something must be done.
He was wearing his ninja uniform, using the night to his advantage as he leaps from building to building, as if he was looking for someone.
And he was, Hyuuga spots three men talking with each other, there were ninjas, and Hyuuga manages to recognize them via a symbol on the back of their uniforms. All ninja clans have a symbol that represents them and it's based on an animal, those three have the symbol of a Tanuki, the symbol of the Hayashi Clan.
"That symbol…. It's them, it's those three that murdered my mom….!" Hyuuga said "They will pay, they will pay, they will pay!" He said with anger in his voice as small flames appear burning in his irises.
Hyuuga jumps from the building and crashes on top of one of the ninjas, slamming them on the ground as he stands on top of them.
The other two flinch in shock as they see their companion be slammed on the ground and spot Hyuuga, who looks at them with the burning rage of revenge on his eyes.
"W-Who the hell are you?!" One of the two men shouted.
"My name doesn't matter, because you won't be alive to remember it!" Hyuuga shouts.
"You little brat, I will teach you a lesson!" One of the two ninjas said and he tries to punch Hyuuga, he dodges him and kicks him right on the gut, the kick being so powerful it causes the man to spit blood from his mouth and he falls on the ground.
The other then tries to attack him, but Hyuuga leaps high in the air, this causes the man to trip on the body of the one that was slammed on the ground by Hyuuga, who takes that opportunity to punch him on the face, he punches him again and delivers a powerful punch that knocks him away.
Hyuuga then proceeds to beat the three within an inch of their lives, it got to the point they start begging for mercy, but Hyuuga wasn't listening, he was so consumed by his anger that it clouded his mind, the only thing he wanted right now is revenge.
After knocking out two of them, Hyuuga holds the last one by the collar of his uniform and stares his dead in the eye.
"P-Please, have mercy!" He said "What did we even do to deserve this?!"
"What you did to deserve this? What you did to deserve this?!" Hyuuga shouts "You murdered Yuko Yasakani, my mother!"
"... Wait, you mean, you're her son?!" The ninja shouts upon realizing who the person in front of him was.
"I am, and now, you will feel the same pay that you inflicted on her!" Hyuuga said, he raises his arm with the intent of punching him to death, but before he could do that, he feels something holding his arm "W-What?!"
"That's enough Hyuuga!" The person holding Hyuuga's hand shouts.
"That voice…. Dad?!" The one holding Hyuuga's hand was his father, Haruki Yasakani, who is also wearing his ninja uniform. "What are you doing here?!"
"I'm the one that should be asking that question!" Haruki said
"What I'm doing is what someone like you didn't have the balls to do, make the ones that killed mom pay!" Hyuuga shouts.
"And you think this will solve anything? You think taking revenge will bring peace to you?" Haruki said "Yuko wouldn't want you to do this, she would never approve of this!"
"But she's dead because of them!" Hyuuga shouts.
"And killing them won't bring her back!" Haruki shouts, this causes Hyuuga to flinch.
"I know, I know that!" Hyuuga shouts as tears starts coming out of his eyes "It's just…."
"Listen Hyuuga, I understand why you are doing this, but, this will never bring you peace, nor will it bring peace to your mother." Haruki said, now in a much calmer tone as he let go of Hyuuga's arm "Don't let anger and hatred cloud your mind, they are a poison that can, and will destroy you."
He was right, despite trying his best not to admit it, Haruki was right. Hyuuga knew that killing them wouldn't bring his mother back, he knew, he was so filled with anger, hatred, and desire for revenge, he couldn't think properly.
Hyuuga then embraces his father and starts crying, releasing all of his frustration, anger, and sadness all at once.
"Later the old man explained that the Hayashi Clan were exiled some years ago, apparently they once tried to take the Shinobi Scroll for themselves, they were eventually caught, mom was one of the people who managed to stop them from stealing it, and she was targeted because of that." Hyuuga said.
The flashback ends with Hyuuga still by Tsubaki's side as he tells this story, despite Tsubaki not being able to hear and listen.
"I was honestly expecting the old man to beat the crap out of me when he found out what I was about to do with those men." Hyuuga said "But no, he just talked with me, no punches, no hits, only his voice that managed to persuade me into giving up revenge."
Hyuuga then looks at Tsubaki, he notices her right hand outside of the futon and he grabs it with both hands, holding it tight.
"Kusanagi, I promise you, we will avenge your parents, and I won't let someone like you be consumed by rage, that's my job after all." Hyuuga then laughs after saying something rather morbid, the laughter stops and his expression becomes more serious "But seriously, I will be there to help you, after all, we are friends." He said before letting go of her hand and walks away from the room, but not before looking behind to take a last look at Tsubaki. "You better rest well okay, I'll be waiting."
He then leaves the room, what he didn't notice was a small smile appearing on Tsubaki's face followed by a single tear, she did listen to his story, and she was happy to see how much he cared for her.
After leaving the room, Hyuuga hears his phone ringing and he picks it up, the one calling him it's an unknown number.
"What the? Who the hell is calling me?" Hyuuga then accepts the call "Who is this and how do you have my number?"
"Oh hello there Hyuuga, how's it going my friend?" The one calling him is Setsuna Kagami.
"Setsuna? How the hell do you have my number?" Hyuuga asks.
"Oh you can thank my dear sister for that, I asked her to find your number so I could call you." Setsuna explains.
"... Your sister is one hell of a hacker, even if I hate to admit that." Hyuuga said.
"Why thank you, I'll take it as a compliment to her." Setsuna said.
"Okay enough of that, what do you want?" Hyuuga asks.
"Oh nothing much, let's just say my sis found some…. Pretty interesting stuff about Danzo." Setsuna said, this earns the attention of Hyuuga, who's eyes widen upon hearing this.
"Wait, really?" Hyuuga said "She managed to find stuff about that guy?!"
"Yes she did, and let me tell you, they are quite fascinating." Setsuna said "I'll give you the location of our home, come quickly, otherwise you might miss the spectacle."
"No way in hell I'm missing this, I'm coming." Hyuuga said.
"Good, one last thing…. How's her?" Setsuna asks with a bit of concern in his voice.
"Her?" Hyuuga asks, before realizing what he meant "She's fine, nothing major."
"I see, I heard about what happened and while this may sound weird coming from me, I'm sorry." Setsuna said.
"Dude, stop making it sound like she's dead." Hyuuga said in a playful tone "But, thanks anyway for this odd display of kindness and concern."
"Don't mistake, despite everything, I am capable of showing emotions that aren't just to trick others." Setsuna said.
"Yeah yeah I get it, thanks anyway." Hyuuga said.
"See you soon." Setsuna said before ending the call.
"Guess his sister is capable of doing some good stuff with her hacking." Hyuuga said as he took one last look at Tsubaki, feeling himself with determination and he heads outside of the temple.
He looks at the map to the Kagami house on his phone. "Alright Danzo, let's see what dirty secrets you are hiding."
Meanwhile elsewhere, after uncovering some of the secrets of not only Danzo, but of the Murakami Clan as well, Fuuka decided to investigate more as she heads to the place where she might find the rest of the answers: The old Murakami Clan's home.
"This place has seen better days." Fuuka said as she took a look at the building, from the looks of it, its destruction looks like it was recent. "Anyway, let's see what I can find inside.
Fuuka passes through the gates and spots the entrance, she goes to open the door, but it suddenly falls down with a mere touch.
"I need to be very careful, otherwise I might accidentally bury myself inside of this." She said and enters the building.
What was once the home of the Murakami Clan has now been abandoned, the whole place has been destroyed, marks of slashes, holes on the walls, Fuuka could even spot a giant hole in the second floor, she was surprised the whole place is still standing.
She continues to walk around the place, she then notices what looks like pictures on the walls, they have been torn apart, almost unrecognizable and it was difficult to see the people's appearance in those photos.
As she walks, Fuuka steps on something and stops. She looks down as she removes her foot and spots a photo stand shattered, with a photo inside of it.
"Oh, what do we have here?" She said, then crouches to grab the photo.
The photo features several members of the Murakami Clan, three in particular catch her attention, a man, a woman, and a child, at the center of the group shot.
"Looks like it was taken years ago, the man is Kouki Murakami, and the woman is Atsumi Murakami, then that means the kid in the middle is…." Fuuka realizes who the kid is "The heir to the Murakami Clan, Danzo Murakami."
Fuuka then gets up as she prepares to continue investigating the place, that is, until someone puts tissue on her mouth while holding her as she struggles to get herself free.
"Shhhhhhhh, don't struggle, just take some rest." The person, a man, said.
Fuuka drops the photo during the struggle, she then stops as she falls unconscious and the man removes the tissue from her mouth.
"Good, she's down." The man said as she gently puts Fuuka on the floor "Now, to send the message to her brother."
Outside of the Kagami house, Setsuna is waiting for Fuuka to come home as she went out to investigate.
"She's taking a long time to return, maybe the investigation is taking a lot of time." Setsuna said "Come on sis, where are you?"
That's when Setsuna spots something from a distance, moves to the side and grabs it with his hands.
"An arrow?" Setsuna said before spotting something attached to the arrow "There's a piece of paper here."
Setsuna then removes the paper from the arrow and opens it to read. His eyes widen in shock as he drops the arrow.
"Oh no…. Fuuka!" Setsuna shouts and begins running as fast as he can.
With Hyuuga, he's still making his way to the Kagami house, he looks at his phone to see that he's getting closer.
"Alright almost there, better hope the information they got is important." Hyuuga said, he then spots someone running and recognizes as they get closer "Setsuna? What's he doing here?"
Setsuna spots Hyuuga and grabs him by the shoulder.
"Hyuuga! Hyuuga! I need your help!" Setsuna shouts in a panic while shaking Hyuuga.
"Wow wow calm down Setsuna, what happened?!" Hyuuga shouts as Setsuna lets go of him.
"It's Fuuka! My sister got kidnapped!" Setsuna explains, Hyuuga's eyes widen when he hears this.
"She was what?!" He shouts in shock.
"I got this from an arrow fired by some unknown person." Setsuna shows the piece of paper and gives it to Hyuuga, who reads it.
"Oh, this is bad!" Hyuuga shouts.
"They even wrote the location, we have to go rescue her!" Setsuna shouts.
"We will, let's go!" Hyuuga said as he and Setsuna run towards the location of where Fuuka is being held.
Speaking of her, Fuuka regains her conscience as she slowly opens her eyes.
"W-What happened?" She said, still awakening and the moment she opens her eyes, she takes a lot of the place where she is "Where am I?"
She's inside of what looks like some sort of chamber or basement, as she tries to move, she feels her arms and legs trapped. She then looks down and sees that she's tied in a chair.
"Well well well, you finally awake." A very familiar voice is heard "Hope my servant wasn't rough with you."
Fuuka then sees who the voice belongs to "It's you…. Danzo Murakami." She said.
"In the flesh." Danzo said "You have been investigating me for a while, haven't you?"
"I did, and let me tell you, I found some interesting stuff about you." Fuuka said.
"Oh I'm sure you did." Danzo said.
The two hear footsteps of someone walking on the stairs and from it comes a man.
"Oh good, was the message sent Tadashi?" Danzo asks.
"It was Master Danzo." The man, Tadashi Murakami, is wearing the same uniform as Danzo, he has brown hair and green eyes. "They are coming."
"Good, now, go bring that, okay?" Danzo said.
"Yes Master Danzo." Tadashi said as he bows to Danzo and goes grab the thing he wants.
"You got yourself a personal servant." Fuuka said in a snarky tone "That's neat."
"He's just one of my many loyal servants, and probably the most loyal of them." Danzo said "Anyway, so, how was it visiting my old home?"
"Oh it's a mess alright, but that makes sense." Fuuka said "Of course it would be in that state considering the conflict that happened between the Murakami Clan."
"I wouldn't say it was just any conflict." Danzo said "More like a civil war you could say."
"Civil war?" Fuuka asks.
"Sometimes what you've seen it's not the truth, sometimes history has to be changed, bury the truth under a tomb of lies." Danzo said.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Fuuka said.
"It'll make sense soon, that is, if you are still here to hear the truth." Danzo said.
"What, you're going to kill me or something?" Fuuka asks, not a single bit threatened by Danzo's words.
"Kill you? Hah! That would be such a waste, why would I kill a potential guinea pig?" Danzo said.
"Guinea pig?" Fuuka asks.
"Master Danzo, here's what you asked." Tadashi said as he comes back with the item Danzo required.
"Thank you Tadashi, now we can begin the experiment." Danzo said.
"Experiment?" Fuuka asks.
"Yes, and you shall be one of my guinea pigs, Fuuka Kagami." Danzo said as he turns around with the object Tadashi brought to him.
"Is that, a Seal Scroll?" Fuuka asks.
"Yes…. And no." Danzo said "While this may look like a Seal Scroll, I prefer the term, Yokai Scroll."
"Y-Yokai Scroll?" Fuuka said.
"Indeed." Danzo said as he shows the Yokai Scroll to Fuuka, it's silver in color and has an image of a wall with eyes. "While the Seal Scrolls contain the spirits of animals, the Yokai Scrolls contain the spirits of Yokais."
"And what's that gotta do with the experiment?" Fuuka asks.
"Oh, you are about to find out." Danzo said in a threatening tone.
Elsewhere with Hyuuga and Setsuna, the two arrive at the location of where Fuuka was kidnapped, the old Murakami Clan house.
"Is this the place?" Hyuuga asks.
"Yes it is." Setsuna said "Now hurry, we have to find my sister!" He shouts, Hyuuga nods his head and the two head inside.
Danzo then begins approaching the Scroll to Fuuka, she's breathing heavily and sweating nervously, but trying her best not to show any signs of fear.
Before anything could happen, they hear footsteps coming from the stairs as Hyuuga and Setsuna enter the basement.
"Fuuka!" Setsuna shouts.
"Brother!" Fuuka shouts, relieved to see her brother.
"Oh, you arrived, I thought you wouldn't come after all." Danzo said. "And I see you brought some company as well."
"Danzo!" Hyuuga shouts.
The two then rush towards them, Hyuuga throws a punch but Danzo dodges it by leaping backwards.
"Fuuka, are you okay?" Setsuna said.
"I'm fine brother don't worry, what we should be worried about is the man in front of us." Fuuka said.
"You're right." Setsuna said and he changes his attention to Danzo "Danzo Murakami…. You made a big mistake kidnapping my sister."
"She was investigating and trying to find more information about me, it's only natural I wouldn't want that to happen." Danzo said.
"Shut up!" Setsuna shouts.
"Oh, are you getting angry?" Danzo asks. "Are you feeling the emotion of anger, of hatred, the desire of payback against the one that hurt someone close to you?"
"I am feeling a lot of things, and I will use them to make you pay for hurting my sister!" Setsuna shouts.
"Yes! Give it into that anger! Let the rage and hatred flow through you!" Danzo shouts "Let every single dark emotion you have overflow, show me that power of yours!"
The three stare at Danzo puzzled at his attitude.
"Dude, what the hell is with you?" Hyuuga asks. "Why are you getting so excited over Setsuna getting pissed off?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Danzo said as he chuckled evilly "Because rage is true strength! There's only one thing this world cares about: Power, and power is held by the strong."
"The world only cares about power and the strong?" Setsuna asks confused, "What are you talking about?"
"How about I tell you a story? A story about how a weak and pathetic child went to become the strongest with power." Danzo said as he begins to tell the story.
"I, Danzo Murakami, am the son of Kouki and Atsuki Murakami, the heads of the Murakami Clan." Danzo said, it shows a flashback of Danzo as a child having fun alongside his parents "We lived a happily peaceful life, my dad taking care of the clan and my mom taking care of me. Everything seems fine and happy…. But unfortunately, no life can be happy in this world."
It then cuts to a funeral, the funeral of Danzo's mother "Tragedy would eventually strike, and it came in the form of my mother's death." Danzo said "She was murdered by some worms of ninjas, killed in cold-blooded, without a single shred of remorse or mercy."
"At that moment, the only things I could feel right now were grief, sadness, sorrow…. And anger." Danzo said, it shows his child self with an angrier expression and tears coming from his eyes "Oh the anger I felt was nothing compared to the hatred I was experiencing. There was nothing more I wanted than to get revenge on the bastard that killed my mother."
"Unfortunately to me, my fool of a father didn't allow me to have my revenge, nor did he even decide to take it." Danzo said, it then shows a flashback of Danzo as a kid and his father.
"Why not father? Why can't you allow me to avenge my mother's death?!" Danzo said in an angry tone.
"Because revenge isn't the solution." Kouki said "Believe me, you are not the only one affected by Atsumi's death, but we can't allow ourselves to have these emotions control and dictate our actions."
"Mom's killers must pay for their crimes! They need to pay for murdering her!" Danzo shouted again.
"And they will, I assure you, but not with violence. We can't stoop to their level, I hope you understand this." Kouki said.
Kouki then hugs Danzo, what he didn't know was that the boy's anger and hatred didn't vanish. Far from it, they are just growing inside him.
"That moment made me realize one thing, I was weak. Weak and powerless, even if I did confront the ones that murdered her, I would've been defeated easily, because they were strong, and I was weak, below the food chain!" Danzo shouted.
"I spent the next years training, each year passed, I could feel myself getting stronger, and after becoming an adult, my strength has increased." Danzo said, showing a flashback of Danzo training throughout the years, as a child, as a teenager, and as an adult. "And after becoming an adult, I was stronger, stronger than before, no longer the weak and pathetic child I was."
"And as I grow stronger, I also realized another thing, the Murakami Clan have the potential to be the strongest clan in history, at the top of the world and the food chain. However, my father was in command of the clan, he was limiting our strength, something needed to be done, and that's when it was decided that I should become the clan's new leader, and to do that, I needed to dispose of the old man."
"Don't tell me you…." Hyuuga said.
"Oh no, even if I tried to assassinate him, it wouldn't be right." Danzo said "It wouldn't feel like I accomplished anything, there was only one thing I needed to do….. Defeat him in battle."
"Then the Murakami Clan conflict…." Fuuka said as she realized where Danzo was talking about.
"Exactly, in order to become the new head of the clan, I needed to dispose of my father, and the only way to do this was in battle." Danzo said "And as such, I challenged my father, and the clan was divided."
It then shows a flashback of the two sides of the conflict staring at each other, waiting to see who would do the first move "On one side, there was me, alongside several members loyal to me and who agreed with my vision. On the other, my father, alongside the fools that insisted on siding with him."
It then cuts to a massive conflict between Danzo and Kouki's sides, fighting against those who were once close to them.
"I have heard about a conflict that happened to the Murakami Clan." Hyuuga said "But I was not expecting it to be a civil war!"
"Oh it was a war indeed." Danzo said "There were many casualties on both sides, the clan suffered significant losses…. But they were sacrificed for a greater good."
"Greater good?" Setsuna said, the tone of his voice showed a lot of anger and disgust towards Danzo. "Their deaths were for the greater good?"
"No way their deaths were good at all!" Hyuuga shouts "They died because of this pointless conflict caused by your stupid 'Might Makes Right' mentality!"
"You sacrificed them for your own selfish desires, and you even killed your own without any remorse." Fuuka said.
"But their sacrifices were not in vain! We won the conflict, I have defeated my father, and I've become the new head of the clan, after disposing of him of course." Danzo said in a sadistic tone.
"You…. You killed your own father?!" Hyuuga shouts "How could you kill the person that loved you the most in the world?!"
"If he loved me so much, why didn't he go after the rats that killed my mother and avenge her?!" Danzo shouts in a very angry tone and shows a lot of resentment towards his father. His sudden shouting causes Hyuuga, Setsuna and even Tadashi to flinch "I'll tell you why, because he was weak! He didn't have the strength and resolve necessary to do what must be done!"
"Wrong!" Hyuuga shouts "He didn't take revenge because it would never bring peace to you! He knew the impact your mother's death had on you, but you weren't the only one suffering!"
"He's right, you were only thinking about yourself and your selfish desire for revenge." Setsuna said. "Taking revenge wouldn't bring your mother back."
"I know, but I couldn't stop thinking about it, and when I became the new leader, I tracked down the ones that murdered my mother, and I made them suffer, just like they made her suffer." Danzo said.
"Danzo! You sick bastard!" Hyuuga shouts in anger.
"Enough talk, I still have things to do." Danzo said "Tadashi, dispose of them." Danzo said as he gives the Yokai Scroll to Tadashi.
"Yes Master Danzo, your wish is my command!" Tadashi said as he presses the button of the Scroll.
[NURIKABE!]
After that, Tadashi thrusts the Scroll onto his body, releasing waves of energy that cause sparks all around the basement, and pushes the trio away.
"Feast your eyes on the magnificent power gave to me by Master Danzo!" Tadashi said as the scroll enters his body and he's surrounded by a purple light.
The light disappears and Tadashi appears in a new form. He no longer resembles a human being, instead, he resembles a humanoid wall made of stone with large arms, and several eyes in the front side of the body. He has transformed into the Yokai Nurikabe.
"He transformed into a Yokai?!" Hyuuga shouts.
"How is that possible?" Setsuna said.
"It was all thanks to Master Danzo's experiments, they were the ones that gave me and his other loyal followers strength!" Nurikabe shouts "And now, I will show this new power, by sending all of you to hell!"
"Hyuuga, take my sister and get out of here, I'll buy us some time." Setsuna said.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Hyuuga asks.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just take care of my sister for me, please." Setsuna said.
"Okay man, take care of yourself." Hyuuga said as he starts removing the ropes tied on Fuuka's arms and legs.
"Brother…. Be careful." Fuuka said, getting off the chair as Hyuuga helps her get on her feet."
"I will, I promise." Setsuna said.
"No! None of you shall leave this place alive!" Nurikabe said as he creates a large rock on his right hand and tosses it at Hyuuga and Fuuka.
"Henshin!" Setsuna shouts and activates his transformation.
[Henshin no Jutsu]
[Kazenoyoni, Kitsune!]
Setsuna transforms into Kamen Rider Gensou as he summons the Kyofu Shuriken and uses it to slice the rock into tiny pieces.
"Go, now!" Gensou said as he rushes to combat the Nurikabe.
"You heard him, let's move! Hyuuga said as he and Fuuka make their way to escape the basement.
Gensou begins his attack by slashing Nurikabe with his shuriken, sparks fly from the impact, but Nurikabe doesn't even feel the attack.
"What?" Gensou said.
"Is that all you got?" Nurikabe taunts Gensou, who retaliates by continuous slashes with the shuriken "Come on, come on, where is your strength?!"
"What's with this Yokai? None of my attacks work!" Gensou said.
"Then it's my turn!" Nurikabe said as he prepares to punch Gensou, he leaps backwards to avoid being hit.
"Alright, let's try this then." Gensou said as performs some hand signs "Wind Ninpo: Vacuum Tornado!" Gensou spins the Kyofu Shuriken and releases a tornado towards Nurikabe.
The tornado hits the Yokai, though it doesn't seem to have much effect as he simply walks forward while still being hit by the tornado.
"What?" Gensou said in shock.
"You are weak, weak!" Nurikabe said as he approaches Gensou and delivers an uppercut that sends him upwards, crashing on the ceiling, and when he falls, Nurikabe punches him again, sending him flying.
Outside of the basement, Hyuuga and Fuuka have left, then out of nowhere, Gensou crashes through the wall that connects the basement to the inside of the home and he hits a wall, causing a large crater on impact.
"Brother!" Fuuka said as she rushes towards her brother, he falls from the wall and lands on the floor "Brother, are you okay?"
"Setsuna, what about the-"
"Behind you!" Gensou interrupts Hyuuga.
The door of the basement suddenly bursts apart and sends Hyuuga flying from the shockwave. From the large hole, comes the one responsible for this, Nurikabe.
"This place will be your grave, I'll bury you all alive!" Nurikabe shouts.
"The only thing getting buried is you!" Hyuuga said as he gets up, puts on the Ninja Driver and holds the Hebi Scroll. "Henshin!" He inserts it on the Driver and spins the cornua.
[Henshin no Jutsu!]
[Moero, Hebi!]
He transforms into Kamen Rider Orochi and rushes towards Nurikabe, who tries to punch him, but Orochi dodges by leaping above him and landing behind.
After landing, Orochi delivers a punch at Nurikabe's back, but all that causes is pain on his right hand.
"Ouch! Why is he so hard?!" Orochi said, holding his right hand while flicking it, then notices Nurikabe turning around "Oh boy!"
Nurikabe tries to punch him, but Orochi was faster and slides to the side. Nurikabe then punches the ground, releasing a wave of stones towards Orochi, he backlips to avoid them but they keep getting closer and closer. They get a lot closer and knock Orochi away, sparks flying on impact as he crashes on the ground.
Fuuka helps Gensou get on his feet and he goes to join Orochi, who manages to get up as well.
"Be careful, this Yokai is a lot different from others." Gensou said.
"Really? I couldn't tell." Orochi said in a sarcastic tone.
"Not now, here it comes!" Gensou said as he points to Nurikabe, who is charging towards the two and despite his appearance, he's surprisingly fast.
The two move out of the way as Nurikabe hits a wall, causing him to stagger a bit from the impact.
Orochi takes this chance as he performs some hand signs "Fire Ninpo: Fireball Strike!" He creates a fireball and tosses it at Nurikabe, the fireball explodes on impact and manages to hurt him.
"It worked, keep going Hyuuga!" Gensou shouts.
"No need to tell me twice!" Orochi produces more fireballs and tosses them at Nurikabe.
The fireballs are having an effect on the Yokai, managing to hurt him despite his body made of stones. He turns around and punches the ground, causing a wall of stones to appear and protect Nurikabe.
"What the?!" Orochi shouts in shock.
Nurikabe then punches the wall, causing several chunks of stones to be thrown at the two Riders.
"Wind Ninpo: Razor Wind!" Fuuka launches from her hands several waves of sharp wind that cut through the rocks, reducing them to bits. "And now, some payback for kidnapping me."
Fuuka performs some hand signs "Wind Ninpo: Kamaitachi's Claw!" Fuuka puts her hands together and then pulls them apart, creating a large crescent-shaped blade of wind, then tosses it at Nurikabe.
The blade of wind cuts through the Yokai, several sparks fly from his body and he's sent crashing on a wall. This causes a tremor to occur all around the building.
"Do you want to bury us alive?!" Orochi shouts.
"Not even a thank you for saving your lives, but that's to be expected from a brute like you." Fuuka said.
"What did you call me?!" Orochi shouts in anger.
"Not now, we still have a Yokai to deal with." Gensou said while putting his hand on Orochi, who is trying to get to Fuuka for her comment.
And speaking of said Yokai, Nurikabe gets himself off the wall and charges at the Riders, ramming onto them and sending them flying.
"Okay enough of this, I'm gonna cut through that wall until it cracks open!" Orochi said as he removes the Hebi Scroll and pulls the Same Scroll.
[Same!]
Nurikabe charges again and throws a punch forward, Orochi rolls to the side while inserting the Same Scroll and pulls the cornua.
[Henshin no Jutsu]
His body is briefly surrounded by a navy light and as he gets up, he has changed to his Same Form.
[Umi no Tsuyo-sa, Same!]
Orochi charges at the Nurikabe and swings his right arm to slash him, then cuts him with the left blade.
He continues to slash the Yokai, despite him not showing any signs of feeling pain.
"It doesn't matter what you do, you can't even hope to actually hurt me!" Nurikabe said.
"Doesn't matter, I will keep trying until I see a crack in your body! Orochi said as he continued to slice him "No one's invincible, you just got to find their weaknesses!"
"I have no weakness, the only weak thing is your attacks!" Nurikabe punches Orochi, causing him to stagger backwards, then delivers another punch, then another, and finally, he stomps on the ground, a large rock comes out of it and slams it onto Orochi, launching him away as he rolls on the ground.
"Hyuuga!" Gensou shouts.
"This strength and power of mine were blessed by Master Danzo, and now, I will use them to dispose of you!" Nurikabe said as he laughs evilly.
"D-Dammit….!" Orochi cursed.
Gensou looked at Nurikabe trying to think of a plan on how to deal with him, that is, until he noticed a crack appear on the center of his body.
"Hyuuga, can you keep going?" Gensou said.
"Of course….!" Orochi said, despite the damage he received, he still managed to get up "I'm still capable of fighting!"
"Good, because I think we have a chance of winning." Gensou said "The plan is simple, just keep hitting him."
"Now that's my kind of plan." Orochi said.
"I spotted a small crack at the center of his body, if we keep hitting him, chances are, more cracks will keep appearing." Gensou explained. "In other words, keep hitting him as hard as you can."
"Hitting things hard is my speciality anyway." Orochi said.
"Good, then let's finish this battle once and for all." Gensou said as he grabs the Kyofu Shuriken.
The two Riders charge at Nurikabe, both use their weapons to slash through the Yokai's body several times, hitting as hard as they can in hopes of opening more cracks around his body.
"When are you two gonna learn that it won't work no matter how many times you try?!" Nurikabe shout as he swings his arms, knocking the two Riders away.
"You see, the two of us have one small problem…." Orochi said.
"We are both stubborn." Gensou completed the sentence, then he removes the Kitsune Scroll and puts it on a slot located on the Kyofu Shuriken.
[Hissatsu no Jutsu!]
Gensou holds the shuriken as it starts accumulating wind, becoming sharper in the process.
"Super Wind Ninpo: Wind God's Kitsune Shuriken!" Gensou spins, presses the trigger and tosses the shuriken.
[Kitsune! 4tsu-boshi Kogeki!]
The wind-empowered shuriken strikes through the Nurikabe, it then continues to slash through it more times.
"When we see a wall in front of us, a literal one in your case, we'll break through it!" Orochi said as he spins the cornua of the scroll "Until I see your body full of cracks, I'll keep breaking through!"
[Same! Hissatsu no Jutsu!]
Orochi performs some hand signs, then he swings his arms backwards, the blades on his arms igniting and forming large blades of fire.
"Super Fire Ninpo: Sword of the Flame Shark!" Orochi rushes forward and delivers a slash with the right blade, then another with the left one and finishes with a cross slash.
The continuous hits causes several cracks to appear on Nurikabe's body.
"Setsuna, now!" Orochi shouts.
"Yes, I will finish this battle." Gensou said as he removes the Kitsune Scroll and pulls the Kumo Scroll, then inserts it on the Driver.
[Hachi-shi no Torikkusutā, Kumo!]
Gensou changes to his Kumo Form, spins the cornua again and does some hand signs.
[Kumo! Henshin no Jutsu!]
"Super Wind Ninpo!" Gensou leaps in the air as he releases webs from his hands, wrapping them around Nurikabe and bringing him close "Spider Drill!" Energy constructs of a spider's legs emerge from behind Gensou's body as they merge around his legs and become a spinning drill "The illusion that you call life has come to an end." Gensou drills through Nurikabe causing a giant hole to appear on his body and when Gensou lands, Nurikabe screams before exploding.
The shockwave caused by the explosion shakes the entire building, everything is falling apart.
"This place is gonna fall apart, we need to get out of here!" Orochi said.
"Agreed, let's move brother!" Fuuka said.
Gensou nods his head and the three start running to escape the collapsing building, while trying to avoid getting crushed in the process.
They manage to escape and turn around to see the old home of the Murakami Clan collapse.
Orochi and Gensou close the scrolls and remove them, turning back to normal with Hyuuga falling on his butt on the ground.
"Oh man, I'm beat!" Hyuuga said.
"I must agree, that battle was pretty difficult, but at least we managed to survive, and we even managed to rescue my sister." Setsuna said.
"I'm also glad to see you, though I would've preferred if you didn't have to bring along this brute with you." Fuuka said.
"A reminder this brute right here also saved your life, so show me some damn respect!" Hyuuga said.
"I only show respect to those who deserve them." Fuuka said "And you did manage to win it, so congrats."
Hyuuga tries to say something, but is trying to process what just happened. Before they could do anything, they hear something inside the destroyed building move and from it, emerges Tadashi, somehow still alive.
"Oh come on!" Hyuuga shouts.
"No wait, something isn't right." Setsuna said.
Tadashi crawls out of the collapsed building and he tries to get on his feet, but he stumbles due to suffering being defeated by the Riders.
"I won't…. Allow any of you to harm Master Danzo." Tadashi pulls the Nuribake Scroll and presses the button.
[NURI-NURI-NU-NU-NU-NURIKA-KA-KABE!]
Electricity appears all around the scroll and it breaks apart into pieces that fall from his hand.
"W-What?" Tadashi said, he then notices something is happening to his hand, it's vanishing "W-What is going on?!"
His entire body then starts to vanish, he panics as he tries to get up once again and walks towards the trio, but he falls on his knees, he could muster all the strength left to yell two words.
"MASTER DANZO!" The last words he spoke before his body vanishes into nothingness.
The trio watches as Tadashi vanishes away.
"What…. What just happened?" Hyuuga asks in shock at what he saw.
"He vanished, but how?" Setsuna said.
"Maybe that's what happens to a person who transforms into a Yokai via those Yokai Scrolls." Fuuka explains. "Destroying these transformed Yokais not only destroys their souls, but the person's as well."
"Destroy a person's soul?" Hyuuga said in shock, anger building inside of him and he let it all out in a raging scream "DANZO!"
