Chapter 193: Da Big Apple Part 6: The Keyhole
Jake and Spyro were surrounded by a whole army of Heartless under the command of the Dark Dragon, both of them back to back with one another as the Rapid Thrusters flew around them, the Fiery Globes bounced around, and the Hook Bats swarmed them, Jake not knowing what they were as they moved around them.
"So, dog, what's the game plan here man?" Jake asked.
"Hook Bats will swing the hooks around and do some damage to you." Spyro replied. "Use that to your advantage if possible. Rapid thrusters are quick and will charge you if you're not careful. Just burn them. Fiery globes, just smack them around as we're both fire proof."
"Oh yeah, now you're talking!" Jake said.
The Heartless then made their move, first starting off with the Rapid Thrusters with a few of them charging the two of them, but they leapt out of the way to avoid getting hit as Jake opened his maw and unleashed a wave of fire, hitting the heartless and setting them on fire as they screeched in pain, flying around at random before exploding and releasing some pink hearts. Spyro got his Wrist bow out and fired at the Fiery globes, destroying each with one shot while summoning the bat staff and slamming the bottom end of it to the ground and releasing a wave of red energy, vaporizing dozens at a time.
"Jake, get Nerk, leave the Dark Dragon to me!" Spyro said.
"You got it bud." Jake said, zipping into one of the passage ways while Spyro glarred at the Dark Dragon.
As Jake flew down one of the hallways, Spyro turned back to the Dark Dragon, who was laughing at him as more Heartless appeared to take the place of the ones that were destroyed.
"So, you're the Prince of Light and Darkness?" The Dark Dragon asked. "I gotta say, you're younger than I thought you'd be."
"Trust me, I've got more experience than you think I have." Spyro replied.
A second later, he disappeared in a flash of light, catchign him off guard as a streak of orange, green, and purple zoomed by, shooting several bolts into his back as he yelled in pain, swinging his tail, but Spyro just dodged it Matrix style, flipping over and releasing as wave of crimson energy, slamming into the Dark Dragon and sending him onto the wall, destroying several Heartless at the same time before more appeared, approaching him, but he then dismissed the staff and calling the cannon, which appeared as a dark yellow with bats all over it, charging up the shot until he fired, but the dragon dodged it as a part of the Volcano exploded, creating a large hole for anyone to fly out of. And as he made the hole, Jake and Nerk reappeared from the hall, seeing Spyro fly around as he switched his cannon to rappid fire.
"Wow, dude where the heck you been hiding that?" Jake asked.
"No time to explain Jake!" Spyro shouted. "Get Nerk and get out of here, now!"
"No way man, not without you!" Jake said.
"That goes double for me." Nerk said.
"Heh, amusing." The Dark Dragon said. "You two stand with the prince, even though he uses dark magic."
"He's a far better man than you are Dark Dragon." Jake replied. "We could have abandoned Nerk, but unlike you, we don't leave our friends behind, even if they're jerks."
"Hey!" Nerk said.
"Hahaha, you continue to amuse me!" The Dark Dragon said. "But I'm afraid you don't stand a chance against me! Even with your Primitive Dragon form!"
That was when the world paused and Spyro looked to the reader, looking confused and concerned.
"How did he know the form I'm using is Primitive Dragon?" Spyro asked. "That raises a whole bunch of red flags. Don't believe me?"
He pointed to his head and in his mind, there were hundreds of red flags and alarm bells going off as everything reutnred to normal and the world resumed. Jake and the Dark Dragon then got into a fight, Jake and the Dark Dragon exchanging blows while Spyro dismissed the cannon and called the Scythe, leaping at the Dark Dragon as he swung the blade whioe Nerk flew around, firing blue flames at the Dark Dragon, who was trying his best to dodge the attacks, but a moment later, one of the fireballs hit the ground beneath him, causing it to collapse and trap him and allowed them to escape, but as they were getting out, the Dark Dragon grabbed hold of Jake's leg, pulling on it to bring him down, but Jake managed to free himself and as he did, he managed to yank one of his claws off as debris and rubble from the volcano started to hit him, burying him in rubble while Jake and Spyro flew over the rubble.
"Jake , you alright?" Spyro asked.
"Yeah, I'm good." Jake said, picking the claw out of his leg.
"Good to hear." Nerk said, zipping away. "See you at the finish line!"
"Not if we see you there first!" Jake said.
Both he and Spyro flew after Nerk as they flew around the side of the Volcano towards the ring, flying as fast as they could with Spyro in the lead and passing through it first, but unfortunately Nerk went through the ring before Jake did, everyone cheering for Nerk as Spyro landed and defused, all three collapsing from exhaustion while Fu cried at their failure.
"Oh, they're going to break up the team!" Fu shouted. "And Spyro will loose his powers!"
"Excellent airmanship Dragon Nerk." Chang said.
"You did great kids." Fu said.
"You have performed better than I could have asked for." Lao Shi said. "I am proud to have been your master."
"Hey, this is whack G!" Jake said. "I would have one if we hadn't been jumped by the Dark Dragon!"
"The Dark Dragon!?" Andam asked.
"He totally tried to bust our dome yo!" Jake said. "That's gotta be some kinda interference or something!"
"Are you saying the Dark Dragon has returned?" Kulde asked.
"Believe nothing!" Jake said. "We barely got away from the freak!" The crowd was whispering with one another. "You may take me away from my grandfather, but he taught me right, and that means it's time I take my dragon training seriously. And I thought it meant showing up jerks like Fred Nerk, but it means we have to stand together against all major threats like the Dark Dragon, cause the only way we'll every defeat him is to stand together, as one."
Nerk was surprised to hear what Jake said, finding a new respect for his opponent.
"Dragon Nerk, is this true?" Andam asked.
"It is sir." Nerk replied.
Jake was shocked to hear Nerk backed up his story, smiling at his opponent as he was pleased he willingly backed up his story.
"Dragon Long, despite the circumstances, both you and Spyro have fail the Test of Courage in Flight." Chang said.
A moment later, a big red X appeared on the third screen, but when it did, the crowd booed her, shouting how unfair it was and for their to be a redo, but Chang didn't seem to care as Jake looked down in defeat.
"However, saving a fellow dragon shows Wisdom in Fire." Kulde said, surprising Jake and Chang. "Therefore, I hearby award bonus points, allowing both of you to pass."
A second later, the red X on the first screen turned into a blue circle, everyone cheering for Kulde while Chang looked at him in shock.
"Councilor Kulde, you cannot be serious!" Chang shouted. "Are we really going to throw away a thousand years of tradition and rules on the word of two boys!?"
"Yo Chang, you don't have to take our word." Jake said, holding up his hand. "But you can take this."
He then dropped the Dark Dragon's claw, everyone walking away from her as she looked down at the claw, glarring at it before picking it up.
"Aw yeah, way to show her up!" Rainbow Dash said.
"You were simply amazing darling." Rarity said.
"Wait." Kulde said, catching up to them. "Young VanVickle, before you and your friends leave, I must inform you of the Keyholes location. You have proven that you can be trusted and I hope you can keep our world safe and worlds beyond."
"You know about the other worlds?" Spyro asked.
"Indeed." Kulde replied. "All of the council members know about the other worlds as it is shown to us when we come into power. And we are given the knowledge of the Keyhole and what would happen if something enters it."
"Like the Heartless." Rainbow Dash said.
"Exactly." Kulde replied. "The Keyhole is located in New York."
"Wait, it's in my crib!?" Jake asked.
"It is." Kulde replied. "Though it only appears in the moonlight once every month after the full moon and only near the school Jake Long attends."
"Which is tonight!" Jake said.
"If you leave now, you will have enough time to find it and seal it." Kulde said.
"Thanks Kulde." Spyro said.
"Wait, one last thing." Kulde said, stopping them. "We will be conducting an investigation and will send a council member to you to help you with the Keyhole and with the Dark Dragon if he comes after you. Good luck young ones."
"Thank you again sir." Spyro said.
They all then left to get their things and get going as soon as possible, but as they walked, Spyro was thinking about how the Dark Dragon knew so much about them and how he manage to ambush them without anyone else knowing, Fluttershy looking to him and seeing the look on his face as she grew more concerned.
"What's the matter Spyro?" Fluttershy asked.
"It's what the Dark Dragon said, how he knew everything about us." Spyro replied. "How is it possible that he knew so much about Jake and I, where to ambush us, and that Jake is Lao Shi's grandson."
"Well, maybe he was watching us." Jake suggested. "Probably a coincidence."
"There is no such thing as a coincidence." Spyro replied. "He was informed about us and about the tests."
"The tests?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"How else do you think he knew where to ambush us?" Spyro asked. "Someone told him what the three tests were and where to attack us."
"That could have been anybody." Rainbow Dash said.
"But no one knew that Lao Shi is Jake's Grandfather." Spyro replied. "And no one else knew I was a prince until I announced it. And the only ones who had all of that information is someone among the Wold Dragon Council."
"Wait, a member of the council!?" Lao Shi exclaimed. "Impossible!"
"Not impossible my friend." Spyro replied. "The only question is, who?"
In the volcanic room where Spyro and Jake escaped from, the Dark Dragon managed to dig himself out as a cloaked figure approached him, looking at his missing claw and growling in rage.
"Our plan seems to have failed my servant." The Dark Dragon said.
"Do not worry master." The woman asked. "With time, he will be swayed to join us. Just like all dragons will be swayed to either join us or die."
"Then perhaps I could be of some assistance." A voice said.
Both the cloaked figure and the Dark Dragon looked to the direction of the voice, seeing someone else within the shadows leaning on a wall with a pair of Arrow Casters in his hands.
"Who are you?" The Dark Dragon asked. "Why does a human dare to be in my presence!?"
"Relax my friend, I want to help you yo achieve your goals." The figure said, revealing himself to be Xigbar. "The name's Xigbar, and I can help make your dreams come true, if you know where the Keyhole for this world is."
It was a little while after they had left the Island of Draco and everyone was making their way back to Lao Shi's shop where Yang and Jade were waiting for them, having ordered take out from chinese to pizza and made a complete mess of the entire place, Lao Shi looking extremely annoyed and forced them to clean up their mess while Jake went back to school like nothing had ever happened, but after the day, he found himself in the principals office, who was a woman wearing a pink sweater and wheelchair bound looking outside her window, watching some construction going on outside before looking back to Jake.
"So, Mr. Long, care to explain today's incident?" The principal asked.
"Prinicpal Derceto, I was just chilling in class when Rotwood was like, Yo-yo-yo, report to the prinicpal's office, for no reason!" Jake replied. "Dude's got it out for me. And shouldn't he not be teaching in a school after getting arrested?"
"My staff is my concern Mr. Long." Derceto replied. "And if what you say is true, then the images caught by our schools state of the art security system is an illusion."
Jake instantly became nervous as the principal turned on a TV, showing Jake what had happened in his class where he was rapping and making fun of Rotwood as he walked up behind him, busting the kid as he looked nervous.
"Man, so how many days of detention we talking about?" Jake asked. "Two, three days?"
"No detention." Derceto replied. "But you might benefit from a little assignment."
A while later after school had ended, Jake met up with his friends outside of the school entry way, where he explained what the principal was having him do.
"A fifteen page essay on your role model!?" Trixie asked. "Mak Derceto must be tripping!"
"Yeah, like some stupid essay is going to teach me how I should respect my elders." Jake replied. "The only people I respect is gramps, Spyro and my friends. Man, this day can't get any worse."
Jake then put his helmet on and got on his skateboard, skating away with his friends, but in the sewer system below them, the Dark Dragon was in the sewers with his henchwoman and Xigbar, who did not seem thrilled about being there.
"The American Dragon is truly powerful." The Dark Dragon said. "But the Prince of Light and Darkness? He is truly powerful."
"He is, isn't he?" Xigbar asked. "But due to how many times he has fused, he's probably exhausted much of his power."
"Then we shouls strike now while we have the chance." The henchwoman said.
"And we will, but first, we must locate the Keyhole for our friend here." The Dark Dragon said.
"Of course master." The henchmen said. "From what I heard, it's here in New York, but all I know is that it only appears in the moonlight. I have no clue where it is. Only Kulde knew where it was."
"No doubt he already told the prince and his friends." Xigbar said. "We'll need to follow them in order to find it."
"I agree." The Dark Dragon said. "As for the American Dragon, we need to draw him out and seperate him from the rest of the pack."
"Leave that to me." The henchwoman said. "I know exactly how to do that."
Meanwhile in Lao Shi's shop, Spyro was keeping an eye on the sky to see when the moon was coming out as the sun went down, everyone having dinner without him as they discussed what they would do first when they got back to Equestria.
"Trust me darling, you're going to love Equestria." Rarity said as they ate. "And you'll love all of our friends back there."
"Will Ruby be there?" Yang asked.
"Who's Ruby?" Fluttershy asked.
"She's my little sister." Yang replied. "I hope she's alright. We got seperated in that flash of light before our world was destroyed."
"Well if there's one thing I know, Spyro will find her." Rainbow Dash said. "He's pretty good at finding things and ponies too."
"So, are there any Grimm in Equestria?" Yang asked.
"Nope, just some manticores, an Ursa Minor and a whole bunch of other monsters." Rainbow Dash relied. "And from time to time some Heartless and Nobodies will come by and attack. Trust me, you're going to have so much fun, especially when you get your very own Pinkie Pie Party."
"Whose Pinkie?" Yang asked.
"One of the biggest party animals in all of Equestria." Rainbow Dash replied. "And, heads up, don't question some of the things she does. Trust me, you'll sleep a lot easier if you don't question it."
"O...K?" Yang replied. "Thanks for the heads up."
"Oh, it will be so good to return home and walk on four legs again." Rarity said. "Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with walking on two legs, but it just feels so alien to me."
"Now you know how I felt walking on all fours when I first came to Equestria." Spyro said, walking over. "Though I had a bit of practice when I was in the Pride Lands, it felt really weird to me."
"Yo, yo, what's going down ya'll!?" Jake asked, coming in.
"Jake, where have you been!?" Lao Shi shouted. "You were supposed to clean the shop after school!"
"Yo, G, relax." Jake said. "This place is so clean,y ou could eat off the counter."
He then wiped his finger on the counter, but instead of it being clean, he ended up revealing that there was something brown and sticky still on the counter, Jake smiling nervously as he tried to pull his finger out of the gunk.
"Which I did about a month ago." Fu replied. "A salad from Murry's house of curry!"
He then got the scissors out and cut the gunk, falling into a pile of boxes and gave a halfhearted smile.
"See?" Jake asked. "Clean as a whistle."
"Jake, now is not the time for playing." Lao Shi said. "The shop must be in tip top shape. The Council is sending Councilor Chang over."
"Wait, Councilor Chang?" Rainbow Dash asked. "As in the lady who wanted to take Spyro's powers away!?"
"Oh, she was so ghastly and so uncouth." Rarity said. "Why send her over?"
"Because she has a hot tip about the Dark Dragon's whereabouts." Fu replied.
"And she'll be here any minute now!" Lao Shi replied. "And we all must make a good impression."
"Hey, relax Lao Shi." Spyro said. "We'll be ready for her and for the Dark Dragon."
"I hope so." Lao Shi replied, sniffing the air and looking to Fu and Jake. "Jake, did you give Fu his flea bath like I asked?"
"Uh, yeah, of course I did." Jake replied, Spyro raising an eyebrow as Lao Shi left and went over to the vacuum cleaner. "Sorry Fu, but desperate times calls for desperate measures."
"Hey, hey, hey, put that thing down Jake." Fu replied. "No need for that. This puppy is one hundred percent flea free."
"Sorry Fu, but this will just take a couple of seconds." Jake replied.
However, as soon as he turned the Vacuum on, everything went wrong as the Vacuum ended up somehow flying, knocking over some merchandise while Jake was holding on for dear life, Spyro diving to help the kid, but ended up getting his foot wrapped in the cord, going on a trip with him as it knocked down and sucked up more of the merchandise before it hit Fu in the rear, pulling back on his skin and making him look thinner.
"I ask you, where's the dignity?" Fu asked.
A moment later, the vacuum grew bigger and bigger until it exploded, covering the entire place with dust, dust bunnies, and everything that wasn't cleaned out of it, Lao SHi and the girls looking out from behind and seeing the mess.
"JAKE!" Lao Shi shouted.
"Yo, relax G." Jake replied. "At least Chang ain't here yet."
"I wouldn't say that dear." Rarity said.
She then pointed to the front door, showing that Chang had indeed arrived, though she was covered in dust and looked extremely annoyed.
"Oh, Councilor Chang, what's up?" Jake asked.
"Dragon Long, I see you're still being naive and arrogant, despite the tests." Chang replied.
"Hang on, I can clean this up." Jake said.
"Oh no, I'm cleaning this place up." Spyro said, getting up and dusting himself off. "Alluva i asat."
A moment later, three elven words appeared in the air and began sucking up all of the dust, everyone watching as the dust flew into the spell before it stopped, the glowing words disappearing and leaving them all speechless.
"Darling, do you have any of those elven spells to help Sweetie Belle with cleaning the dishes?" Rarity asked.
"Impressive Dragon VanVickle." Chang said, smiling. "I should have known you'd master the elven arts of magic"
"Dude, you're full of surprises." Jake said. "You gotta teach me how to do that."
"Unless you know how to speak and write in the seven languages of the elves and the variants, no way am I teaching you that." Spyro replied. "So Chang, we were informed you may have a tip about the Dark Dragon and where he is."
"Indeed." Chang replied. "My sources has informed me that a troll living in the sewers of this city has had a recent run in with the Dark Dragon and with someone calling himself Xigbar."
"Xigbar!" Jade exclaimed. "Oh, I am so going to-"
"Easy Jade, we'll get him." Spyro said.
"What's her problem?" Chang asked.
"Apologies ma'am." Spyro replied. "She's a little vengeful after Organization XIII destroyed her world. And Xigbar is a member of that very group."
"I see." Chang said.
"Hey, I know that tunnel." Jake said. "It is right underneath my school. I use it all the time to sneak out of Rotwoods class."
"Ew, no wonder you smell like sewer when you come here." Rarity said.
"Anyway, when we going!?" Jake asked.
"The three of us yes." Chang replied. "But not your friends."
"What, why!?" Jake asked. "Spyro handled the Dark Dragon pretty well, he has to come with us!"
"Not us." Lao Shi replied. "Jake, you must stay here and clean up your mess."
"What, but Gramps!" Jake said. "I've handled the Dark Dragon before and survived!"
"You will not question your dragon master." Lao Shi said, walking to the door. "Come councilor."
Chang looked at lao Shi and then to Jake, looking just as annoyed as he was, but then walked after Lao Shi, but as she walked, Spyro could sense that she was hiding something, raising an eyebrow as they left.
"Is it just me, or is Chang hiding something?" Spyro asked.
"Oh, that is it!" Jake shouted, everyone ignoring Spyro's question. "I've had it with gramps! I could take on the Dark Dragon myself if I wanted to!"
He then kicked the counter and ended up hurting his foot, Fu shaking his head at him as he smiled.
"Geez, you sound so much like your gramps back when I first met him." Fu said.
"Yeah right Fu." Jake replied. "Gramps was born old."
"Jake, mind your manners!" Rarity said.
"Follow me kid." Fu said. "It's time you understood more about your old man." He then flipped the sign on the front door to show it was closed, walking to the back and looking through some boxes until he found what he was looking for. "Aha, here we go, magical journals. Every animal guardian has them. It's our job to keep track of all the missions we went on with the dragon we're assigned to. And to master Old McDonald on the nose flute."
"You serious?" Spyro asked, picking up one of the books. "Hey, what's in this one?"
"Wait, don't!" Fu shouted as Spyro opened the book and a woman dancers leg popped out in a fishnet and a red heel popped out, confusing them as Fu closed it. "That's one of my more personal journals."
"Uh, what?" Spyro asked.
"Yeah, I'm wiht him on this one." Rainbow Dash said.
"Anyhow, it was back in nineteen seventy two in Hong Kong when I met your gramps." Fu said, opening a journal to reveal the city and moving to a nightclub filled with magical creatures. "And let's just say it wasn;t the most proudest time of my life."
It reveal Fu in a blue dress shirt with a red jacket on, white pants and an afro, singing and dancing, but as he was doing that, he was stealing any valuable that he could get his paws on, everyone gasping.
"Seriously!?" Spyro asked. "You were knicking people of their valuables!?"
"As I said, not the proudest moment of my life." Fu replied. "Anyway, after I got caught, he then came into the club."
The scene then showed Lao Shi, much younger than he was now, a little older than Jake, but just as cocky and arrogant.
"Yo, check Gramps out!" Jake said. "Gramps was styling back then! But also a bit whack as well."
"Yeah, yeah, yada, yada, look the point is, like you, he thought he could take on the world." Fu said. "And we got into an epic Kung fu fight and..." He looked over to Spyro, who raised an eyebrow and gulped nervously. "Ok, yeah, I'm sort of embellishing the story a bit. Truth is, he had me in two moves." The scene then showed Lao Shi appearing behhind him in his dragon form, scaring him right into Lao Shi's arms. "Ok, one move. But the point is, after I got caught, I basically had to beg him to be his animal guardian, but like you Jake, he prefered to work alone. And that's when he met her."
"Who?" Rarity asked as her eyes lit up.
It then moved to a woman in a pink dress and dark hair, but when she turned around, it was Councilor Chang, making everyone gasp.
"Councilor Chang!?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh yeah, as soon as Jake's gramps saw her, it was love at first sight." Fu said.
"Please tell me Chang isn't Jake's Grandmother." Rainbow Dash said.
"Thankfully no." Fu replied. "And let me tell you, some of the lines they said made me sick just listening to them." It then panned to Fu taking notes, everyone glarring at him as he smiled. "Alright, so some of the things they said was puyre gold back then. But their meeting was not by chance. She was seeking him out for a mission. Which she was assigned to locate the Dark Dragon and she needed Lao Shi's help getting the scoop on his whereabouts."
"And that's when he let you be his animal guardian?" Fluttershy asked.
"No, that was after I had to peel him off the side of a billboard after he crashed into it." Fu replied, Rainbow Dash, Yang, and Jade snickering as they watch Lao Shi in his dragon form crash into the billboard. "So, after I peeled him off the side and he allowed me to tag along for that mission and that mission only, according to him. So, I took them to someone who claimed to have spotted the Dark Dragon, who was Johnny Wan, who was the best dancer in all of Hong Kong. And the reasopn he was the best dancer was because he was half spider."
"He was what!?" Rarity screamed, looking to Spyro as he had a flamethrower pack on his back, the thrower in his hands and a freaked out look on his face. "Spyro, are you afraid of spiders?"
"Hey, there are five things I don't mess with." Spyro replied. "And spiders is number three on my list."
"Why are you afraid of spiders?" Fluttershy asked. "They're cute when you get to know them."
"Obviously you weren't bitten by a Black widow when you were six years old." Spyro said. "Seriously, that spider bite left a red mark that looked like North America."
"For real?" Jake asked.
"I kid you not Jake." Spyro replied. "That actually happened."
"Anyway, gramps challenged Johnny to a dance off and won, putting spider boy to shame." Fu said.
"Did he tell you where the Dark Dragon was hidding though?" Jake asked.
"Oh yeah, he told us alright." Fu replied. "He spotted the Dark Dragon on the Queen Elizabeth, which it was a rusted out ocean liner out in the Hong Kong harbor, so we scurried over there as quickly as possible and got on. Gramps wanted to check the stern and have Chang check the cargo hold, but she suggested he check the cargo hold and she check the stern. And when we went down, he was in the cargo hold."
"Boy, he must really like hiding in dark places." Rainbow Dash said, Spyro looking at her in disappointment. "Heh, sorry."
"Bad pun, no point." Spyro said. "So, Lao Shi was a great dragon, we get it. But he's not as young as he use to be and we have to go help him now."
"I hear ya there bud." Fu said as Spyro walked to the door. "Chances are, Chang might get knocked out like I did when we first faced the Dark Dragon."
[Mystery chorus]
Stop!
Wait a minute!
The world then paused and Spyro turned to Fu, then turned to the reader with a confused look.
"Ok, that was random, even for me or Pinkie for that matter." Spyro said as the world resumed. "You got knocked out?"
"Yeah, someone came out from behind and clubbed me before I could help gramps." Fu replied.
"Dang, who the heck would knock you out?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Aw, you poor little thing." Fluttershy said, rubbing his head. "Did it hurt?"
"Heh, well, I guess you could say that." Fu replied.
That was when a whole mess of red flags shot up, putting hand to his chin as he thought about something.
"Spyro, what's on your mind?" Jade asked.
"Well, Fu got knocked out, but no one else knew about where you were going, right?" Spyro asked.
"Now that you mention it, only Johnny knew where we were going." Fu replied. "And Councilor Chang as she went with us. Other than him, I don't know of anybody else."
Spyro scratched his chin, thinking about the information Fu provided and what happened on the Island of Draco, how the Dark Dragon knew jake was Lao Shi's grandson, where to ambush them and how he knew Spyro was the prince, but then he put all the pieces together and looked worried.
"Quick, we need to get to the school now!" Spyro said. "Lao Shi's in danger!"
"Why?" Rainbow Dash asked. "If Lao Shi beat him once before, he could probably do it again. Besides, we need to get to the Keyhole before Xigbar."
"And we'll do that after we save Lao Shi." Spyro replied. "I know who the traitor is!"
"You do!?" Jake asked.
"Yeah, and it was obvious who it was." Spyro replied. "Can't believe I didn't think of her before. We have to go, now!"
"Not without some more back up." Jake replied. "And I know just who to call."
In the sewers under Jake's school, Lao Shi and Chang were walking through the murky water of the sewer looking for the troll, reminiscing about the old days and about how he managed to defeat the Dark Dragon.
"You should be proud of yourself Lao Shi." Chang said. "No one else besides yourself and your grandson have managed to defeat the Dark Dragon and survived."
"I may have survived Councilor Chang, but it came at a heavy price." Lao Shi replied.
"I know." Chang replied. "You and your pupil are very powerful Lao Shi. And the Prince of Light and Darkness is also very powerful. Too powerful." A moment later, a net made entirely out of Sphynx hair dropped down and captured him, pinning him to the ground with the filthy water as the Heartless, some Nobodies, and Xigbar came out of the shadows with a wicked smile. "I betrayed you then, as I do now, for my master."
A second later, the Dark Dragon appeared from the water, laughing as he looked at Lao Shi.
"One down, one to go." The Dark Dragon said with a wicked laugh.
However, a moment later, they heard the sound of a manhole cover open, looking behind them as they heard them coming.
"They're already here?" Chang asked. "But how?"
"The prince." Xigbar replied. "He's not just powerful, but very smart. He probably figured out your plan and came here immediately."
"Quiet fools!" The Dark Dragon said. "We don't have much time to prepare. Hide him, now!"
A couple of Nobodies flew over and picked up the old man, taking him somewhere else while Chang and Xigbar found a place to hide as the Dark Dragon hid beow the water to ambush them. Meanwhile in the sewer, Spyro and jake were taking the lead while Fu followed behind them, though Spyro's friends were nowhere to be seen.
"You sure it's a good idea to leave your friends behind?" Jake asked. "You seem to be more powerful with them."
"Trust me, if Rarity even heard she would have to come down here, she's have a fit." Spyro said. "Besides, we can handle this guy ourselves."
"Blech, have I ever mentioned I hate the sewer?" Fu asked.
"Isn't this where you meet most of your dates?" Jake asked.
"Oh, snap!" Spyro said. "Talk about roasting someone."
"Hey, I resent that!" Fu said. "But unfortunately that's very true."
They continued to walk the dark passage way towards where Lao Shi had been captured and that was where they saw him, hanging on the roof of the room still in the Sphynx hair net.
"Grampa!" Jake shouted.
"Lao Shi!" Spyro exclaimed as they all ran to him.
"Jake, Spyro... you must leave." Lao Shi said. "It is a trap."
"One in which has worked." The Dark Dragon said, coming out of hiding as dozens of hearltess appeared.
"Hey, just because I fainted last time, doesn't mean it'll happen again!" Fu said.
However, a second later, Chang appeared and hit him on the head, knocking him out in one hit.
"Figured it was you." Spyro said, Chang turning to face them. "Why? Why betray your own kind?"
"I'm not betraying my own kind at all." Chang replied, throwing the board away. "Once a long time ago, magical creatures rules the earth, but when the humans came, we were forced itno hiding."
"Together, we will build an army of magical creatures and overthrow the humans." The Dark Dragon said. "With this army, we will take back our rightful place as rulers of the earth!"
"And once the Keyhole appears, Xigbar will unock the power inside of the heart of this world and we will use it to destroy all humans." Chang said. "You both have a choice, join us or be slain."
"Heh, join you or die?" Spyro asked. "You two might as well pick choice number two yourselves if you allow Xigbar to send in one of the Heartless to crawl into the Keyhole because this world will be gone."
"What do you mean?" The Dark Dragon asked.
"He didn't fill you in?" Spyro asked. "If a Heartless crawls into the Keyhole, which is the pathway to this worlds heart, then this world will collapse on itself, fade from existence, and poof, be destroyed all together with everyone and everything in it. Both magical and non-magical alike."
"Is this true?" The Dark Dragon asked Xigbar.
"So what?" Xigbar asked. "It is true, that was the original plan, but you hold much potential dark one. Why rule just one world when there are countless millions more for you to conquer yourself? This rat hole isn't even worthy of your rule. Why not just destroy it and send a message, saying to others that they should either bow before you or be destroyed?"
The Dark Dragon put his claw to his chin, thinking about it for a moment before laughing, his laughter being heard throughout the entire sewer system as he looked to Spyro and Jake.
"I like the way he thinks!" The Dark Dragon said. "Very well, I might just do that. As for you two-"
"We choose neither option yo!" Jake said. "We got an army of our own!" As she said it, the sewer opened up and from it, Yang and Jade jumped down with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity coming in through another passage way of the sewer, though Rarity was wearing rubber boots, pants and a raincoat, followed by a small army of tooth golems lead by the followed closely Spud and Trixie, both smiling at them all. "Magical and non-magical alike and guess what, we get along just fine."
"Admiral, and quite amusing." The Dark Dragon said. "Heartless, destroy them!"
"Dragon up!" Jake shouted.
Jake then changed into his dragon form and charged towards them while Spyro and his friends went straight for the heartless, Spyro taking the first swing as he dodged a bolt from Xigbar and rushed towards him to keep him from hitting his friends. The Tooth Fiary then sent the tooth golems to help the Keyblade bearers witht he Heartless and the Nobodies that came in. Jake managed to land a solid blow against the Dark dragon, knocking him back as tooth golems lunged for him, so he was forced to handle them while Jake flew up to free his Grandfather, cutting the net down and catching him.
"Come on gramps, let's get you out of here." Jake said.
"Not if I stop you first." Chang said, changing into her dragon form, which was a dark maroon colored dragon with a red crest on her head.
"Not if we stop you from stopping them." Trixie said, she and Jake standing in the way.
"Unless you find a way of stopping us from stopping you from stopping them." Spud said. "Wait, can someone explain to me what I'm saying?"
"Please, you're nothing more than inferiou humans." Chang said.
"Says you." Trixie said, pulling her hand out to reveal a green aura. "You see, we humans are tricked out with some of Fu dogs serious magical mojo."
"What!?" Chang asked.
Trixie and Spud were then surrounded by a glowing green aura and flew in the air, fighting Chang as Jake flew into the air and to the manhole.
"Spyro, quick, follow me!" Jake shouted.
"On it!" Spyro said, knocking Xigbar down. "Fluttershy, Rarity, with me!"
Fluttershy cut through a Dusk and ran after Spyro with Rarity running close behind and up the ladder as Trixie and Spud fought Chang, but the Dark Dragon managed to overwhelm the tooth golems and saw them climbing up the ladder and went after them, busting through the concrete and asphalt as trixie and Spud finally beat Chang, throwing a black ball that exploded and turned into a net made of Sphynx hair, catching her and grabbing the lady as the Dark Dragon bust through the ground.
"American Dragon!" The Dark Dragon shouted. "You really think you can beat me!?"
"Alone, maybe not." Jake replied. "But I have my friends on my side."
Spyro then closed his eyes as dark blue flames appeared around him, bursting around him and around Rarity and Fluttershy as the skeletal dragon reappeared.
[Mysterious voice]
P-ri-mi-ti~~ve... Dragon!
Spyro then reappeared in the dakr blue armor with the left side being yellow with bats and the right side being black with gems on him.
"Even with primitive Dragon, you don't stand a chance against me or my minions!" The Dark Dragon shouted.
"Or against me." Xigbar said, coming out of a corridor.
he then leapt towards Spyro, who jumped to him as well and slammed into one another, Spyro calling his wings and flying around while Xigbar was firing at him, trying to land a hit while jake was fighting the Dark Dragon, but unfortunately Jake was much weaker than the Dark Dragon, who dodged and blocked all of his attacks before grabbing Jake and throwing him away, hitting the ground before releasing dark red flames at Jake, but the kid managed to get out of the way in time while Xigbar leapt into the air and got a sniping position, combining his weapons together and aiming for Spyro, but as he fired, Spyro just either dodged or deflected the shots, making it completely useless against him, but when he saw jake get thrown away, he smiled, having an idea for how to get him as he aimed straight for Jake, smiling as he got the kid in his sights, but then hit rifle got shot out of his hands, turning to see Jade had fired her revolver at him and knocked his weapon away.
"Oh no you don't." Jade said. "Not this time."
That was when Yang came flying in, yelling in joy as she landed a solid punch on his nose, firing her shot gun blast and sending him flying out and crashing into a large pile of bricks, all of them crashing down on him as Spyro flew staright for the Dark Dragon, calling the scythe and swinging the weapon, the Dark Dragon blocking the attack and swiping to hit him, but Spyro turned into shadows and dodged the attack, reappearing behind him as he called the cannon and fired, nailing him in the back and making him fall to the ground.
"Impressive little prince." The Dark Dragon said. "But unfortunately for you, you won't last much longer against me." He then grabbed Spyro by the throat, squeezing as hard as he could as he laughed. "Look at you, relying on others to fight your battles for you, relying on their strength, showing how weak you are."
"I... am... not... weak." Spyro said, his wings turning into skeletal wings and trying to stab him, having no luck as the Dark Dragon just used his own to block them.
"Even now, you rely on the powers of darkness to win you battles!" The Dark Dragon said. "Face it kid, you're like me, a monster, a warrior, born to rule weaklings like them!" He then pointed to Spud and Trixie. "Humans are weak and pathetic, not even worthy of licking my feet!"
"Who you calling weak and pathetic!?" Rainbow Dash shouted.
She jumped out from the crater that the Dark Dragon made, running towards him, but the Dark Dragon grabbed her by the throat as well, choking her as well as she struggled to free herself.
"And you, you hold some power inside of yourself." The Dark Dragon said. "But not enough to be a real threat. On, you'll be the first to feel my wrath after I'm done here."
"NO!" Spyro shouted. He then ignited himself, making the Dark Dragon drop him as Rainbow Dash slashed his wrist, landing on the ground and running away, but the Dark Dragon growled at her and sent a dark blue fire ball at her, hitting Rainbow Dash as a large cloud of smoke was left behind. "RAINBOW DASH!"
He immediately struck the Dark Dragon and ran to the cloud as it dissipated, showing that Rainbow Dash was on the ground and wasn't moving as he knelt down, scooping her up as the Dark Dragon laughed.
"You see!?" The Dark Dragon shouted. "Humans are weak, unworthy of even existing! Once we are in charge, the humans will either serve us or die!"
"You monster." Spyro said, though it wasn't his voice anymore as it was the hatchlings voice now, turning his head to reveal his eyes were blue instead of purple, putting Rainbow Dash down as he got up and turned to the Dark Dragon in rage. "YOU MONSTER!"
The flames then got more intense, igniting in the darkest blue as the skeletal dragon came out, roaring in rage as it charged the Dark Dragon, who tried to dodge, but the dragon slammed it's fist into the Dark Dragon, sending him backwards as he skidded to a stop, but caught himself, standing back up, but Spyro leapt at him, dealing another blow that knocked him to the ground as he started wailing on him, hitting his fist to his face as he was driving his head into the ground. However, inside of Spyro's mind, he was waking up, finding he was back in the temple, wondering what had happened, when drk flames appeared, engulfing him as the hatchling came out, roaring in rage.
"He's a bad dragon!" The hatchling shouted. "He's going t hurt a lot of people who didn't do anything to him!"
"Kid, i know you're angry, but you need to calm down." Spyro said. "We can just-"
"No, no I won't calm down!" The hatchling shouted. "He has to pay, for hurting Lao Shi and for hurting Jake! And I'll make him pay!"
The flames then instantly engulfed him, making him yell in pain as he tried to fight back to regain control of his body before she could do any permanent damage to himself or to others. In the real world, Spyro, now being controlled by the hatchling, was still pounding his head into the ground, stopping only for a second to pick him up and throw him towards the crane, causing the piles of bricks it was holding to fall on top of him as the hatchling roared in rage while also in triumph, believing she had beaten him. However, the Dark Dragon's claw shot out, revealing he was still going as he dug himself out, standing up as he was laughing.
"Yes, good, let yourself be angry." The Dark Dragon said. "Allow that rage to fuel you and fight. Show me how much power you truly have."
She roared again, charging towards the Dark Dragon as she planned on destroying him. Meanwhile inside of Spyro, the flames were getting to be too much for him, starting to loose strength as the Hatchling kept on fighting the Dark Dragon, letting rage, anger, and hatred control her as she did everything she could to destroy him as he was falling unconcious, his eyes getting heavier as he kept on fighting.
"Stop it!" Fluttershy shouted. The hatchling then turned to look at Fluttershy, who was walking into the room looking mad as she approached. "Why are you hurting Spyro?"
"I'm not hurting him." The hatchling replied. "All I'm doing is hurting the Dark Dragon, who is going to hurt a lot of innocent people. I won't allow that!"
"You're not hurting Spyro?" Fluttershy asked, looking at him as he lied on the ground. "Look at him. When you took control, your flames started to hurt him to kee him from taking back control!" The hatchling then looked to Spyro, who was laying on the ground, struggling to remain conscious as to try and take back control. "After everything he did, making a promise to help you regain a body and to be your friend, this is how you treat him? You young lady are becoming a bad guy, even though you don't mean to be!"
The hatchling looked at Spyro, realizing that what Fluttershy was saying was actually true, the flames disappearing as she started to cry, and when she did, her control was released, Spyro's body collapsing onto his knees, gasping in exhaustion. Back inside, the flames around Spyro had disappeared, Spyro regaining his strength as he slowly got up, looking up and seeing the hatchling was returning to normal, crying on the ground as she lied on the ground, crying her eyes out as she looked up at them both.
"I'm sorry." The hatchling said. "I'm so, so sorry. I'm... I'm a bad dragon. I'm just like the Dark Dragon."
"No, you're nothing like him." Spyro said, getting back up and walking over to her. "You're not evil at all."
"And how do you know that?" The hatchling asked, looking scared. "Malefor brought me back using dark magic, everytime I take control, I allow my rage and anger to get in the way and fight, I'm a bad dragon!"
"No, of course you're not bad." Fluttershy said, walking over. "You're a good dragon with a good heart. Nothing like him."
"She's right little one." Spyro said, kneeling down to her. "You are your own dragon, not what others make you out to be. You define who you become, not what others think you should be or your insecurities. So long as I'm here, I'll be there for you, always."
"Y-you mean it?" The hatchling asked.
"I do mean it." Spyro replied, hugging the hatchling.
The hatchling was surprised by the sudden hug, tears welling up in her eyes as she hugged him back, crying into his chest and as she did, Fluttershy walked over and hugged them both, joining in the hug as all three smiled. Meanwhile in Equestria, at the Castle of the Two sisters, the Tree of Harmony was shining and glowing with power, but a second later, the Elements of Harmony Kindness, Generosity, and Loyalty were glowing brightly while back at Canterlot, Princess Celestia was signing a few things, looking bored as she was signing some documents while the painting near the throne started to glow, two more of the gems on the painting of Faust glowing green and blue.
"And this one is to allow for the concession to proceed for Prince Blue Bloods birthday party." The assistant said.
"Very well, is there anything else?" The princess asked. "An word on if Spyro has returned or not?"
"Not yet your highness, but I do believe they'll be home any day now." The assistant replied.
The princess then looked over to the painting and saw the two glowing elements, smiling as she knew that he'd be back very soon. Meanwhile in Ponyville, Twilight was going through all of the books to acquire any information on the Element of Harmony she got from Spyro, but found nothing.
"Ugh, this is pointless!" Twilight shouted as the Element of Harmony Hope started to glow. "None of these books mention anything about there being a seventh Element of Harmony!"
"Well, maybe there's something in Canterlot that could help." Spike suggested. "Maybe... wait, why is the element glowing?"
Twilight turned to see what Spike was talking about and when she did, she saw that the Element of Harmony was glowing, surrounding itself in a purple orb and then it shot itself out of the window of the library, Twilight and Spike running to the window and watched as the necklace flew all the way towards the Everfree Forest where several clouds were moving and swirling over the Castle of the Two sisters, which Generosity, Loyalty, and Kindness shot out of the Tree of Harmony and into the sky, where all four of the elements flew into the swirling vortex before the cloud disappeared. Meanwhile inside of Spyro's heart and mind, Spyro was still hugging the hatchling and Fluttershy, enjoying the moment when a bright light appeared next to them, all three looking to the light and as they looked, the entire temple disappearing as darkness was all around them, but that darkness didn't stay long as the light grew brighter and brighter until it enveloped the entire room. A second later, the same alicornt hat Spyro saw before appeared before all three of them, smiling at them as she approached.
"It's you again." Spyro said.
"F-F-F-F-F-Faust?" Fluttershy asked, Spyro looking at her, wondering who she was talking about.
But before he could ask why Fluttershy was so spooked by the alicorn before them, a couple more lights appeared right in front of Spyro, one of which was green and in the shape of a lotus flower while the other was blue and shaped like a couple of Horseshoes intertwined, levitating them over to Spyro, who held up his hand and held them.
"Compassion." Faust said. "Feeling sympathetic and concerned for the sufferings and misfortunes of others. And Trust, always believing in others, in the good that they can do. Never loose either."
A moment later, the alicorn disappeared, leaving Spyro and Fluttershy alone with the hatchling as the Keyblade warrior looked at the two elements in his hand, Fluttershy looking at him in shock and awe.
"Spyro, why did Faust appear before you?" Fluttershy asked.
"I don't know, nor do I know who Faust is." Spyro replied, looking to her. "But what I do know is that we need to stop the Dark Dragon before he can hurt our friends. You two up for it?"
"Sure am!" The hatchling replied, hugging him.
"Um, if you think I can help, I guess I can help out." Fluttershy replied. "That is, if you need my help."
"I always do little butterfly." Spyro said, hugging her.
He hugged both Fluttershy and the hatchling as a blue and green light appeared around them, enveloping them both and the entire room. Meanwhile in the real world, the Dark Dragon was still laughing while Jake was fighting by Yang and Jade's side, fighting off the Heartless and Nobodies as Rainbow Dash was stirring awake, rubbing her head after getting blasted with a fireball.
"Enough of these games!" The Dark Dragon said. "It's time to finish this!"
He opened up his maw and then sent a large ball of fire towards Spyro, hitting him and causing a massive explosion that made everyone freeze, looking to the explosion as Xigbar got back up.
"Spyro!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Finally!" The Dark Dragon exclaimed. "All magical creatures will bow to me!" However, a moment later, a light shined out from the cloud of smoke, everyone looking to it as a dragon roared out and revealed Spyro in his dragon form, nuzzling the hatchling before kissing Fluttershy, everyone's eyes wide with surprise. "What's this!? A couple of dragons and a Pegasi!? What's the meaning of this!?"
A moment later, the light and the smoke disappeared, revealing Spyro was no longer in the armor and was walking towards the Dark Dragon with Fluttershy and Rarity by his side with a golden dragon head symbol on his forehead.
"Spyro, yo you're alright!" Jake exclaimed.
"How did you survive that attack?" The Dark Dragon asked. "No one is powerful enough to resist my destructive power!"
"I'm more resilient than you think bud." Spyro replied. "And together, we will destroy you, forever."
[Mysterious voice]
Harmonious Dragon!
And thus, the darkness was expelled from the heart of Primordial power, now with the power of Harmony, unite your powers and unleash everlasting Harmony!
A second later, golden flames appeared behind them as the skeletal dragon appeared, roaring out as it lowered it's claws to Fluttershy and Rarity, who both got in his claws and were both lifted up, golden domes appeared around them.

The domes then shattered and the two ponies galloped towards the Dark Dragon, who dodged them both, but they circled back and hit him in the back and made him fall to the ground. The dragon then lowered it's claw to Rainbow Dash, who was a little cautious at first, but then got up and walked into it's claw, being lifted up into the air ad a golden dome surrounded her as well.
"Ay yo, this is wicked!" Jake said. "Hey Spud, Trixie, let's get down there and..." He looked back and saw the dragon was looking at him, lifting it's claw to allow for him to hop on, which he was skeptical, but got on. "Ok, now what?"
A moment later, a golden dome appeared around him as well, surprsing everyone as the dragon drew it's claw back in.

The two domes then shattered and the cyan Pegasi galloped towards the Dark Dragon, followed closely by a red dragon, roaring out as they passed by the Dark Dragon, striking it and forcing him back as the golden dragon roared again, calling them back as golden flames surrounded Spyro, the ponies and the dragon turning back around and heading towards the flames, entering it as the music picked up.
Baki! Boki! Bone!
Mera! Mera! Burn!
Harmony!
The flames disappeared and standing there was Spyro wearing golden armor with a white unicorn head on his right shoulder with the Element of Harmony Generosity in the middle of the forehead, gems drowing across the top of the right arm and going all the way to the shoulder guard while on the left shoulder was a pegasi with Kindness in the middle of it's forehead, vines and butterflies going across the left arm. In the center of the chest was another pegasi head with Loyalty in the center of it's forehead, the torso with tri colored lightning bolts going across the entire torso while the legs had a dragon head for a belt buckle with a fire pattern going up the legs, a pair of pegasi wings appearing on the back with rainbow colored feathers as the Horseshoes, Lotus, and Hope attached themselves onto Spyro's collar, creating a necklace that held all three.
A moment later, seven Keyblades appeared from the sky and flew towards him, the regular three he usually got from using with Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity coming down, but behind them was four new ones, one of which was purple in color with the stem being two lines coming out of wing tips that pointed upwards, swirling around one another until it reached the tip, which appeared to be like a sun with a star in the center with several rows of points and another pair of wings coming out from the tip of the sun, the guard a couple of blades going around the handle with a Keychain that had a star at the end. The second blade was green and black, a little shorter, but the blade was curved like a small dagger with a lotus for the teeth in the shape of a half heart with a half guard, which was also a blade and the Keychain was a white lotus flower.
The third blade was mostly light blue with a drew white diamonds on it, the stem of the blase was thin with a spear like tip for the head with a horseshoe for the teeth, the guard of the blade was a pair of angel wings with the keychain being a pair of Horseshoes intertwining. The final blade had the stem and teeth looking like a blazing inferno witht he guard being a dragon head with the maw open, releasing the flames to make the blade while the Keychain being a dragon head, all seven blades spinning around his back as the Harmony blade reappeared, except this time, instead of Magic, Honesty and Laughter on the blade, it was the Lotus near the teeth where Honesty was, the horseshoe where Laughter was, and an opal where Magic use to be, taking the blade as he smiled.

Spyro stood before the Dark Dragon, swinging the blade to release an invisible force that caused the Dark Dragon to fly backwards and crash into a pile of metal beams, bursting through them as he roared in rage and glarred at the fused warrior.
"Yo, this is wicked!" Jake said, Spyro's eyes turning black. "How cool was that!?"
"Epic, isn't it?" Rainbow Dash asked as Soyro's eyes turned maroon.
"Yo, Rainbow, where you at?" Jake asked, controling Spyro's body as he looked around.
"Jake dear, we're fused with Spyro." Rarity replied, Spyro's eyes turning blue. "Meaning that we're all in control of Spyro's body."
"Wait, say what!?" Jake asked, looking at himself. "Dog, you aren't the least creeped out by this?"
"Eh, I got use to it." SPyro replied, his eyes returning to purple. "Besides, the benefit of this is that we share one another's power. And that's what we're going to need to beat the Dark Dragon."
"You think a little light show will beat me!?" The Dark Dragon asked. "You and your pitiful friends are nothing compared to absolute power!"
"That's the difference between the two of us pal." Spyro replied. "My friends are my power. They help me, drive me to become better, and most of all, they're one of the most important things to me. And there's nothing you or anyone else can say or do that will change that."

Spyro and the Dark Dragon stood there, glaring at one another, Spyro raising his blade before the two of them charged one another, the Dark Dragon swinging his claws at him, but Spyro leapt over and unleashed several glowing feathers, hitting him in the back before leaping into the air, flying high in the sky with the Dark dragon following close behind, releasing several fireballs to hit him, but Spyro just spun around as Generosity glowed on the blade and six large diamonds appeared, creating a shield to protect him as the Lotus, which represented Compassion, started to glow and dozens of lotus flowers appeared, the petals coming off and flying at the Dark Dragon, sticking to him as he tried to get them off, but they exploded a moment later, sending him tumbling back to the ground with Spyro following close behind, splitting into three seperate versions of himself, flying at him as the Dark Dragon regained his balance and blocked an attack from one of them, but they zipped away before he could land a hit, the second striking him from behind again and flipping over his tail as the third spun around him quickly and struck him in the gut.
He cluched his gut after feeling the attack before the ground erupted and roots grew, shooting to the sky and wrapping around him, the Dark Dragon using his fire breath to burn the roots and free himself, but Spyro ended up kicking him in the chest, making him gasp from the sudden hit as he contonuously kicked him all the way to the ground, picking him up by the tail and slamming him back into the dirt, but the Dark Dragon growled and spun his head around, releasing a wave of fire, but Spyro turned into flames himself and dashed backwards, avoiding the attack before returning to normal. The Dark Dragon got back up and roared in rage, dozens of heartless appearing to help him, but Spyro just smiled, holding up the harmony blade as Hope glowed, spinning the blade around and swung the blade, releasing a wave of light that destroyed the entire army and slamming into the Dark Dragon and sending him backwards, back into the metal beams.
He then swung his blade around as the Horeshoes, which represented Trust, started to glow and put the tip to the ground, dozens of ethereal Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi appeared, stampeding towards the Dark Dragon as he got back up, but ended up getting trampled, flattened like a pancake with horseshoes indented into him. Spyro picked the blade back up and held it, Kindness, Loyalty, and Generosity glowing now as dozens of vines grew out from the ground, tying him up and holding him down while Spyro rushed at him, the Dark Dragon looking up to see a golden trail heading his way as a diamond grew from the ground and split him into the colors of the rainbow, rushing towards him as he broke the vines and freed himself, ready for the attack, but the red trail struck first, hitting his leg and causing him to take a knee as orange and yellow struck him in the chest, making hhim fall onto his back as green ran around him, creating a green vortex and shot him into the air as blue and purple leapt up, both kicking him to he ground and creating a geyser of dirst shot into the air, the six fusing together as Spyro danced.
"Aw yeah, can I get a holler!" Jake said, celebrating.
"The fight's not done yet." Spyro replied, seeing the Dark Dragon get up, though he was shaking, he was still standing.
"You cannot defeat me." The Dark Dragon said. "Even if you do, I'll be back."
"And we'll be here to take you down yo!" Jake replied.
"And we'll be there to help." Rainbow Dash said, astral forms of the two of them, along with Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spyro appearing around golden armored warrior.
Spyro took the blade and lifted it up, a beam of light shooting into the air as the Trust, Compassion, and Hope started to glow, releasing a wave of light that summoned the stampeding ponies again, heading straight for the Dark Dragon, who tried to flee, but vines and roots shot out and tied him down, looking to see the stampede reach him, but instead of trampling him again, he got body slammed, carried away into the sky as he yelled out in pain before he was dropped, his wings crippled as Spyro flew up towards him, flying past before circling around and spreading his wings, the moonlight hitting the wings and creating a coalescence of light and color before spinning around and throwing the blade, striking his chest as he gasped in pain before Spyro flew towards him, turning into a golden light that then slammed into his gut and propelled them both towards the ground, slamming into the ground as a large explosion followed suit, everyone covering their eyes to not get blinded as the Dark Dragon got finished off.

They then looked to the crater that was created, half expecting the Dark Dragon to come back out laughing, but instead, it was Spyro that was walking out, still fused as the dust and dirt settled, smiling at them.
"Yo, dude, that was amazing!" Spud exclaimed.
"Hey yo, that was some fancy light show you had going on there." Trixie said.
"Thank's guys." Spyro said, smiling.
"You think you've won?" Xigbar asked, having reappared and pointed his crossbows at him. "Oh no, you've won nothing. And look..." They all turned to the sky and saw the moon was out, the light shining all around them as Xigbar smiled. "The Keyhole will soon appear, and when it does, this world will-"
He was then interrupted again after getting shot in the no-noes, collapsing to his knees as he held his privates before he got hit in the head, falling to the ground as they all looked to Jade, her revolver smoking as she looked annoyed.
"That's one thing I hate about bad guys." Jade said. "They never know when to shut up."
They all then laughed at the comment, everyone havign a good time, but a moment later, Jake looked up and was surprised at what he saw, yanking on Spyro's arm to get his attention.
"Dude, up there, look!" Jake said.
Spyro looked up and saw the moonlight was shining all around them, but one ray of light hit the school and a second later, the Keyhole appeared from one of the windows, shining brightly as everyone walked towards the school.
"Is that... the Keyhole?" Spud asked.
"Of course it is Spud!" Trixie said. "Question is how are we getting to it? The schools closed."
"We don't need to get up there." Spyro replied, calling his Keyblade. "I can get it from down here."
He then pointed the Keyblade towards the Keyhole as several stars appeared at the tip, coming together as it fired a beam of light towards the Keyhole and entered the hole, a click coming out of it as it then disappeared in a showed of sparkling light.
"That it?" Trixie asked.
"It's done." Spyro replied. "The Keyhole is now sealed, thus ensuring this worlds safety against the Heartless. But against the organization, that's another story."
"Hey, we totally trashed that dude Xigbar, I'm sure we can handle others like him." Jake replied, looking at Spyro before looking sad. "So, guess this is good bye then."
"For now." Spyro replied. "Chances are, we might see each other again. But just incase..." He then swirled his hands around, creating a crystal ball and levitating it to him. "That's the Orb of Whispers. It'll contact me if you need help. But only in emergencies, not to do your homework for you."
"Pfft, you kidding, I got this in the bag." Jake replied. "If any more of them Organization chumps come lookin' for some trouble, they'll get some."
"And what about Chang?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking at the captured draon.
"The council will deal with her." Lao Shi replied. "She will be imprisoned for a very, very long time."
"Eh, let the Hunts Clan have her, one less bad guy to deal with." Rainbow Dash said.
"Can;t believe I'm saying this, but I'm with Rainbow on this one." Jade said.
"No, we're nothing like that." Spyro said, looking at everyone. "We'll let the council deal with this traitor. For now, it's time to go home." He then turned to look at the new friends they made, smiling at them as the air around them started to spin. "We'll see each other again, someday."
A moment later, a dome of blue light surrounded them and then they shot into the air, heading straight into the sky and blinking out for a moment, but in the air, Spyro and his friends appear in the cockpit of the Dragon's Crest, the ponies returning to their normal forms, glad to be on four legs again as they cheered.
"Man, I'm so glad to be back to walking on four legs again." Rainbow Dash said. "Dude, how you can walk on two legs is beyond me."
"I must admit, it did have it's advantages." Rarity said, holding up a bunch of shopping bags. "Check out all of these fashions! One of a kind!"
"Uh Rare, where'd you get the money to buy all of those?" Spyro asked.
"What, you kidding bud!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "The Bits we had bought these things and then some! Why didn't you tell us gold was so valuable on worlds like these?"
"Because when people see gold, they get something called gold fever." Spyro replied. "When you see it, you just want more. In short, greed. You're just lucky that a mugger didn't stab you to steal all your gold."
"What's a mugger?" Rarity asked, Spyro, Yang, and Jade face smacking themselves.
"Why do I bother?" Spyro asked, walking to the pilots seat and sitting in it. "Next stop, Equestria."
"So, is everyone in this Equestria a pony?" Yang asked.
"Most are." Jade replied. "You should se what I look like. I'm half griffon and half pony."
"You serious?" Yang asked. "Now I'm scared of what I'll become."
"Don't worry, something tells me you'll be a regular pony." Spyro said.
He then put in the coordinates for Equestria, flipping a switch as they then jumped into Warp Space, leaving Da Big Apple and returning to Equestria. Meanwhile in Equestria, Applejack was sleeping peacefully, happily asleep in bed, but as she was sleeping, she heard what sounded like engines, waking up groggily as she walked to the window and saw the Crest had returned, smiling as she ran back down stairs and outside as the Crest landed in the hanger and lowered it's ramp.
"Ah, Equestria, how I missed you." Rarity said.
"We've only been gone for a week Rare." Spyro said.
"Yeah, a week too long." Rainbow Dash said. "Man, i got some serious flying to catch up on."
"Welcome back ya'll." Applejack said, walking over.
"Hey AJ." Spyro said, the two sharing a kiss. "How you doing?"
"Ah'm doin' alright." Applejack replied. "A little cranky ya woke me up, but glad to see ya'll came back alright." She then noticed the golden dragon head symbol on his head, looking at him in confusion. "What's with the tattoo? Ya don't usually have those."
"Heh, it's a long story AJ." Spyro replied. "But right now, we got someone for you to meet." He then turned around and looked to the ship as everyone else did, hearing someone stumbling around as Yang came out. She was a yellow Earth pony with a mechanical right foreleg, wearing her gauntlets and an orange scarf with a purple scarf on her left foreleg with her Cutie Mark being her emblem, which almost looked like a heart with flames on top of it, stumbling around to get to them. "AJ, this is Yang. She and jade are both from the same world that got destroyed."
"H-hello." Yang said, wobbling before collapsing. "Ok, seriously, this is going to get old real quick."
"Don't worry, you'll adapt." Spyro replied, helping her up. "We all usually do."
"So, this is Equestria?" Yang asked, looking around.
"It is." Spyro replied. "We're currently at Sweet Apple Acres. Hope of the best apples you could ask for. And my current place of residence." He then walked over to Applejack, wrapping his wing around her as he smiled. "And this is Applejack, Keyblade warrior in training, a member of my herd, and future mother of my child."
"Wait, you're pregnant!?" Yang asked, looking at her.
"Ah am indeed, thanks to this stud." Applejack replied, elbowing him in the side.
However, a moment later, a corridor opened up and everyone looked to it, getting their blades and weapons out as they got ready for whoever came out, which to their surprise was Demyx as he walked out with a smile.
"Hey dude, what's YEOW!" Demyx exclaimed, dodging a shotgun blast from Yang.
"Yang, wait, stop!" Spyro said, lowering her foreleg. "It's alright, he's cool."
"Wait, you know this guy?" Yang asked.
"Yeah, I do." Spyro replied, Yang relaxing as everyone else did. "This is Demyx. He's a member of Organization XIII, and he's our friend."
"An enemy is your friend?" Yang asked as Demyx got up after being shot at.
"Yeah, Spyro and I go way back." Demyx said, nervously. "Though we only became friends little over a year ago."
"Heh, better late than never." Spyro replied, finally noticing the basket and hearing crying coming from it. "Demyx, what's in the basket?"
"Who you needed me to keep an eye on." Demyx replied.
He then picked the basket up off his back and placed it in front of them, everyone walking over as the blanket was removed and to their shock, it was a couple of fillies, Rosy Hearts and Midnight Sky.
"Demyx, they're..." Spyro said, looking to him.
"Right where you said they'd be." Demyx replied. "Saved the pink one from a pack of Timber Wolves. And the black one, right where you said she'd be. Next to a dumpster in an alleyway. Seriously, who throws away a baby? I may not have a heart, but I know that is just wrong."
"Someone who has a demented mind." Spyro replied, using his magic to pick them up and hold them, rocking them back and forth to calm them down. "Shh, shh, sh, it's ok, you're safe now."
"Wow, they're kinda cute." Yang said, walking to them. "And you said you saved the pink one from... Timber Wolves was it?"
"Yeah, and they were hungry." Demyx replied. "I was lucky to have gotten there in time."
"Thanks Demyx." Spyro said, smiling at him. "You did great."
"Ah, no big deal. Demyx replied. "Anyway, better get back before I'm missed. See you around."
Demyx then opened up a corridor behind him, walking through it and closing it behind him as he left.
"So, what now?" Rainbow Dash asked, flying to the fillies and making a silly face at them.
"Well, right now, we need to get some rest." Spyro replied. "We've had ourselves a really, really long adventure. And in the morning, I'm taking these fillies to the doctor to make sure they're ok." He then looked over to APplejack, cracking a smile at her. "And you're coming with me AJ."
"What do ya mean?" Applejack asked.
"We've put off a doctor visit long enough." Spyro replied. "We need to make sure the baby's growing alright."
"But, but Ah-" Applejack began to say before being picked up herself.
"No buts about it missy." Spyro said, playfully. "And if you're good, the doctor might give you a lollipop."
"Oh, if ya weren't levitatin' me at this moment, Ah'd knock the funny right on out of ya." Applejack said.
Everyone then laughed as they all went their seperate ways, Spyro putting Applejack on the ground as they leaned into one another, heading inside as Yang followed them close behind.
"Uh, mind if I stay for the night?" Yang asked. "Seeing as I have nowhere else to go."
"Of course ya'll can stay hun." Applejack replied. "In fact, ya could work fer us while ya stay. Could use an extra set of hooves around the place since Ah might be oughta commision in the comin' months."
"Thanks." Yang replied. "I won't let you down."
Yang then followed them into the farm house to get some rest, glad to have finished their recent adventure. Meanwhile in Malefor's stronghold, Aphara had finally returned and placed the scaled into the tome, a circle glowing red as Orion groaned, feeling more of his body return as a set of demon wings sprouted out from his back, laughing as he looked at them.
"Oh, that feels so good." Orion said.
"Bet it does." Aphara said. "So what's the next key?"
"The next three will be extremely tricky." Malefor replied. "The fifth key requires the Juice of the Night Howler, which is extremely rare in all worlds. All, but one."
"Which is sealed away and lost to us." Orion said. "The coordinates for that world have been erased from existence. You'd need a super computer to find them again."
"Great, so we're out of luck, is that what you're telling us?" Aphara asked.
"Not necessarily." Orion replied. "I said you'd need a super computer to find the coordinates. And as luck would have it, I know of one."
In another world, Ruby was waking up, her head pounding after being suddenly teleported away as she sat up, groaning as she got off the ground.
"Girls, are you all alright?" Ruby asked, but didn't get a response, looking up and seeing she was alone in what looked like a place with floating chunks of desert land, freaking out as she looked around. "Yang?" She looked for her friends and sister, getting onto her feet as she looked. "Weiss? Blake? Jade!?" She then ran to the edge, looking down to see there was a litteral ocean below her as she looked up from it, seeing floating chunks as she turned around. "Where the heck am I!?"
However, a moment later, she heard something to her right, looking to see a walking cube made of stone with four spider-like legs with a large eye like symbol in the center of the bloke, firing a laser at her, but she turned to petals and dodged, getting her scythe out as she glarred at the unknown opponent.
