Chapter 163: Equestria Girls Part 3: Fight For the Crown
At Sugarcube Corner, which was just a corner store bake shop, they had all gathered in a private area of the shop, Twilight going up and getting a drink while Spyro sat with the others, all watching him to see what he would do next while also making sure his jacket was zipped up, not wanting them to see the Beskar Armor underneath his jacket. A while Later, Twilight walked over with a couple of drinks, giving one to Spyro while sitting next to him as taking a sip while everyone just starred at them, feeling uneasy about the looks they were getting from their human friends.
"Alright, what's with the looks?" Spyro asked.
"Oh, maybe it has to do with the fact that you got hit by some kind of EXPLOSION and walked away without a scratch!" Rainbow Dash said.
"And the fact that you hacked Sunset Shimmers computer and deleted the video and who knows what else you did to her device." Rarity said. "Seriously, are you a hacker?"
"No, not exactly." Spyro replied, drinking from his shake. "I'm just very smart, that's all. Anyway, we need to get to the most important subject here."
"He's right girls." Applejack said. "We need to come up with a way to help Twilight win the dance tomorrow night and get the crown."
"Easier said than done AJ." Rainbow Dash said. "They're terrified of Sunset Shimmer. No way they'll vote for Twilight after the video they saw."
"But Spyro got rid of it!" Pinkie said.
"Unfortunately, Rainbow Dash is right." Spyro replied. "The whole school saw the video, but we have the power to help Twilight. I got an idea of where to start. What we should do is-"
A moment later, they heard the door open and looked to the one who came in, finding it was the guy Spyro bumped into yesterday, looking around and finding them all together.
"There you are." He said, approaching them. "I was looking for you everywhere."
"Flash Sentry?" Applejack asked. "What the heck are you doing here?"
"To warn you guys." Flash Sentry replied. "Sunset Shuimmers little henchmen, Snips and Snails were running through the hall laughing. They were coming from the practice fields."
"The practice fields?" Spyro asked, not liking where this was going. "If they're Shimmers little helpers, they must have been the ones who recorded you. And chances are, they got recordings of me fighting the Symphony Master."
"The what?" Flash Sentry asked.
"Uh, nevermind." Spyro replied. "Thanks for the heads up. You're a good guy."
"Any time bud." Flash Sentry replied.
He then turned and walked away from them, leaving them alone as Spyro sat down and turned to them.
"There's something very familiar about him." Spyro said. "But I can't place it."
"Well, let me jog some of your memory for you." Rarity said. "Flash Sentry is Sunset Shimmers ex-boyfriend. He broke up with her a few weeks ago and she didn't take it too kindly."
"And she hasn't done anything to him since!" Pinkie said.
"Hmm, she must still have feelings for the guy." Spyro said, scratching his chin. "Then there's still a chance."
"A chance?" Applejack asked.
"Oh, sorry." Spyro said. "Just talking to myself, that's all."
"Well, whatever ya just said, we need to find a way for everyone to see twilight in another light."
"I got it!" Rarity said, shouting so loud that everyone was looking at her, making her blush. "Uh, sorry. I might have an idea." She walked over to her bag and reached in, grabbing something and pulling out a headband with pony ears and blue and yellow tails. "Now, I know it's a silly idea, but what if we wore these as a sign of unity."
"And why would we do that?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Actually, it might work." Spyro replied, surprising them. "If I were to make the correct assumption, they were part of school spirit, right?"
"Exactly." Rarity replied. "During Freshmen year, they were popular, showing school spirit. Even if we're different, we're all friends!"
"Which is exactly what we need." Spyro replied, taking one. "Sunset Shimmer divided you, making you hate one another, that much everyone knows. But when they see that you've been reunited by me and Twilight, they'll see that she has no control and start to realize that we're all stronger together rather than apart."
"He's right everyone!" Rarity said, passing the hadbands around. "We were divided, but now we're friends once more. Let's show everyone that we are friends and let everyone know that it's Twilight Sparkle that reunited us!"
They all cheered as Rarity hugged her, leaving Spyro smiling in the chair as he drank his shake, knowing that this plan was going to work perfectly and get them the votes they needed and finally end Sunset Shimmers rule of terror over the school. After a while, the bell for lunch period rang and everyone ran to get into position, the girls getting the headbands and tails ready while also putting on some sweaters that Rarity found that she was unable to sell, everyone putting them on, including Spyro, which he had to hide in the boys bathroom and put the sweater on in there, making sure it hid his Beskar armor as he came out. He approached the cafeteria, seeing Twilight waitng for her signal there, wearing the head band and the tail, looking nervous as he approached.
"Gotta say, blue looks good on you Twi." Spyro said, approaching.
"Thanks Spyro." Twilight said, the two kissing as they stood outside. "You sure this will work? That everyone will vote for me so I can get my crown back?"
"I'm positive Twilight." Spyro said, holding her hands. "Shimmer rules through fear. She divided everyone up to make them afraid, but when they see several people from different groups together as friends, it'll show them that Sunset Shimmer is nothing when everyone stands together. Like us when we stand against the Heartless." He then brushed some hair awau from Twilight's face, seeing her smile as she looked at him. "You've got this Twilight. I believe in you."
They kissed one more time before Spyro walked into the cafeteria, the loud murmurs from all the students blending into one another as they talked, seeing everyone looking at him, which he nodded his head and they got their headbands on, a moment later, a beat came on, Pinkie starting it as she used her tray as a makeshift instrument, starting it up by banging it gently on the counter, followed by Rarity hitting her feet on the ground, getting to the rhythm followed by Fluttershy, using cups, Rarity clapping her hands along with Applejack, everyone recognizing the sound and stopping what they were doing to see what was going on.

Everyone was watching them go to the center of the room, moving in perfect unison, some shrugging in confusion while others seem intrigued, watching them pose before splitting into seperate groups, watching them.

The five girls and the prince met back up in the middle of the room again, posing and dancing in perfect syncronization, Spyro seeing that some were getting into it, nodding their heads.

Their plan was working as some of the students were actually dancing to the beat while others were getting their phones out and recording wehat was going on, Spyro sensing how impressed and happy they were as they continued.

As the song went, they danced across the tables, everyone's spirits lifted to hear the song as they all looked to them for support while Spyro flipped over the table and opened the door, allowing Twilight to enter the room.

Flash Sentry was watching them, how they brought hope and joy to everyone as they were dancing, so he dediced to help out as well, taking his guitar out and staring to play it it add more music to the show.

Soon, everyone got into the beat, Twilight and Spyro dancing together while Pinkie threw the head bands and the tails into the air, everyone grabbing what they could and putting it on, getting into the dancing

Meanwhile outside, Sunset shimmer was watching what was happening in the cafeteria, her anger rising as she saw the whole from the door, growling in rage and anger as she was starting to loose her power over everyone, seeing how happy they were and how the group was making them dance around, restoring their spirits. She turned to find her flunkies, finding them dancing around with the headbands on, her rage growing as dark mist appeared in her hands.
"Take those off, NOW!" Sunset Shimmer said, forcing them to remove the headbands.
"Heh, sorry." Snips said.
"You said you got some photo's and video from this morning, right?" Sunset Shimmer asked, which they nodded. "Good. I got something special in mind for Twilight, her friends, and her boyfriend."
"What do you want us to do?" Snails asked.
"While her boyfriend is around, trying to discourage her to give up will be impossible." Sunset Shimmer said. "Luckily, I have an idea to get rid of him."
She walked away as Snips and Snails ran away, Flash Sentry walking out of the cafeteria to rest when he saw his ex, seeing her smile wickedly as dark mist appeared off her shoulders, his eyes widening in surprise as he looked to his left, seeing the two touble makers run down the hall, following them to see what was going on. A little while later, the bell rung and everyone walked out of the cafeteria, everyone happy as can be as they all seemed in very high spirits, chatting away and walking the halls, no longer sticking to their groups as they started to talk to others, making new friendships as the human mane six and Spyro walking down the hall, seeing how happy everyone was.
"It's working." Twilight said. "This was a great idea Rarity."
A moment later, they saw Sunset Shimmer walking away, everyone standing aside as she and her little henchmen followed her.
"That's can't be good." Spyro said, seeing her smile as they passed. "Usually if a bad guy is smiling, then it's not a good sign."
They watched her walk up to Vice Principal Luna's door, knocking on it as the pricipal came out, Sunset Shimmer putting on a good performance.
"Vice Prinicpal Luna, something awful has happened in the gymnasium!" Sunset Shimmer said. Everyone looked at Sunset Shimmer, everyone surprised to hear that. They followed the principal and Sunset Shimmer to the gym, finding it completely ruined, chairs knocked over, streamers ripped apart, even the disco ball was destroyed, the gym completely ruined. "Isn't this just awful? And after Pinkie Pie worked so hard to make everything perfect. Why would Spyro and Twilight Spyro do such a thing?"
"What makes you think it was them?" Luna asked.
"Because I have proof." Sunset Shimmer said, showing her a folder.
Luna looked into it, seeing what all was in the folder, looking very upset as she left the room. A while later, she had Spyro and Twilight both in her office, everything pitch black to try and intimidate them as she looked out the window.
"I must say, you made quite the performance in the cafeteria." Luna said. "Everyone seems to be in high spirits, until now."
"But... but I don't understand." Twilight said. "What did we do?"
"You destroyed the decorations in the gym." Luna said.
"Wait, what?" Spyro asked.
A moment later, Luna showed them the photos, revealing Spyro was jumping around, flipping and kicking ain the air, making it look like he was destroying everything while also putting Twilight in the photo's, making it look like she was apart of the crime as Spyro examined the photo's, the world pausing as he looked tot he reader.
"So that's how Sunset want's to play, does she?" Spyro asked, smiling. "Well, she's not going to get away with this. I know these photo's are fake, but Luna might not listen, but I have a way to destroy this web of lies. Know what time it is?" A moment later, a revolver cylinder appeared above his head, three bullets loading in as he smiled. "It's Danganronpa time!"
A moment later, the room started to spin, Spyro and Twilight sitting together as Luna was facing them, looking at them sternly to intimidate them.
"The photo's clearly show you two torn down and destroyed the decorations." Luna said. "From what I see, it's clearly obvious. They show you both tearing down everything between the times of 10:40 to 11:30."
"There's a flaw in your timeline." Spyro said, the first bullet firing and the world shattering, returning to normal. "You said we did this between 10:40 and 11:30?" Spyro asked.
"Obviously." Luna replied.
"Then we have an air tight alibi for those fifty minutes." Spyro replied, surprising Luna. "Between 10:40 and 10:50, we were at Sugarcube corner, discussing how to help Twilight get the crown with Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. At 10:50, we walked to the school and went into the bathrooms, changing into the sweaters in the bathrooms and we then entered the cafeteria at 11:05."
Luna was surprised, looking at the photo's again and then to them as the world got dark again, Spyro looking at Luna as the second bullet was ready to go.
"Even if you're friends back up your version of events, the photo's show it was you." Luna said, putting them down. "One of you could have stepped out and ran to the gym, destroy the decorations, and got back in time to go with the group. Sunset Shimmer provided these photo's of the crime."
"Well, quite convenient isn't it?" Spyro asked, the second bullet firing and shattering the darkness. "Sunset Shimmer giving you the photo's at the exact time of the crime? Didn't you question it?"
"Why should I?" Luna asked.
"Well maybe, you weren't looking at the photo's close enough." Spyro said, turning the lights on and getting a magnifying glass. "Let me show you something." Spyro approached the desk and holding it to the photo, showing her what was hidden, which was grass and red hair. "I recognize the moves. They're from when I had a friendly game of soccer with Rainbow Dash."
"Soccer?" Luna asked, looking at the photo. "Well, that explains the grass, but why show me... wait a minute, what's that?"
"That would be red hair, vice principle Luna." Spyro replied, removing the magnifying glass. "You see, with tech these days, it's easy to photo shop and, or cut out certain parts of a photo and put them over one another, making a photo appear to be real, but instead, it's fake."
Luna was surprised to see this, picking the photo's up and looking closely to see whatelse was hidden, finding they all had the same thing in common. Before she could say anything else, Flash Sentry came in, Snips and Snails being dragged in by him as the third bullet was cocked, ready to go.
"Vice Prinicpal Luna, there's something you need to hear." Flash Sentry said, dropping them. "It wasn't Spyro, or Twilight who destroyed the decorations, it was Shimmer."
"That's a lie!" Snips said, his words appearing, one of which appearing to be orange. "Sunset Shimmer didn't do any of this!"
"Yeah, you can't prove anything!" Snails said. "Those photo's we made are very real."
"You should have kept your mouths shut." Spyro said, the final bullet hitting the word made and shattering the sentence. "Earlier this morning, Flash Sentry saw you guys running away from the practice fields, laughing if I recall. And Snails blurting you made those photo's, man, you guys make for horrible henchmen."
"Uh oh." Snips said, he and his partner in crime shaking.
"I also found these in the library near the printer." Flash Sentry said, showing cut outs of the photos. "They show that Spyro was outside playing soccer while Twilight was just in the library yesterday with Spyro doing research, not doing any of this."
"I see." Luna said, looking to Snips and Snails. "Now you two, tell me, why make these fake photo's in the first place?"
The two trouble makers were looking at one another, clearly caught red handed as they shivered and shaked, looking at one another to try and come up with a story, but knew what they said wouldn't work.
"We only want to help Sunset Shimmer win." Snips said. "We made those videos and cropped them to make it looked like her competition was ruining the entire thing."
"Yeah, we just wanted to help." Snails said. "Pretty convincing, weren't they?"
"Indeed, they were." Luna said, sitting down. "I wish to apologize to you, Twilight Sparkle and Spyro for thinking it was you. As for you, Snips and Snails, my sister and I will find a suitable punishment for you later."
"We're sorry." They both said, Luna escorting them out.
"Thanks for coming to our aid Flash." Spyro said, the two fist bumping. "We owe you, big time."
"Hey, couldn't let a friend take the rap for something they didn't do." Flash Sentry replied, looking out to the hall. "But I'm worried about Sunset Shimmer. Something's wrong with her."
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.
"I saw some kind of black smoke coming off her shoulders, like, pure black with purple shimmering in it." Flash Sentry replied, Spyro and Twilight looking at one another, which Flash noticed. "You know something, don't you?"
"I'm afraid you have every right to worry about Shimmer." Spyro replied. "We need to help her before she's completely lost."
"Lost?" Flash asked. "How?"
"Let us worry about that." Spyro replied. "For now, we need to get ready for the dance tonight."
"Well, looking at the damage, it'll be postponed until tomorrow night." Flash Sentry said, making Twilight panic and run out, leaving the two boys alone, both confused. "Was it something I said?"
A while later, Spyro walked to the boutique, having agreed to meet there once Spyro and Twilight had returned from the the Vice Principal's office, finding everyone there and looking at the curtain, which Spyro guessed twilight was hiding behind.
"What happened darling?" Rarity asked. "Did the vice principal disqualify Twilight?"
"No, no she's still in the running." Spyro replied. "But I think it's something else that has her spooked. And I have a good idea what it is. Can you give us a minute?"
They looked at one another, clearly confused, but allowed hum to pass by, walking in and seeing Twilight upset, looking up to see it was Spyro.
"Oh Spyro, what'll we do?" She asked. "Tomorrow night? We need to get the crown and leave here before the gateway closes tomorrow night."
"I know." Spyro said, walking over and sitting next to her. "I know. But don't worry, we'll still have time to fix this and cross the gateway once we have the crown."
"But how much time?" Twilight asked. "What if we don't win? What do we do now?"
"The one thing we can do." Spike said, walking up. "Tell your friends here the truth."
"Are you crazy!?" Twilight asked.
"I'm afraid Spike is right." Spyro responded, Twilight looking at him in horror. "I know, it breaks all the rules of the World order, but unfortunately, we have no choice. If our friends are going to help us, they need to hear the full story."
"Yeah, otherwise we'll be trapped here for thirty moons." Spike said. "Which, accoridng ot Spyro, is thirty years. Can you stand to be away from your friends for that long?"
"But, what would happen if they really found out what I am?" Twilight asked, looking at the mirror and seeing her pony self. "What if they shun me for being different?"
"Twilight, they stuck to you and helped you because they saw what was in our heart, what was on the outside." Spyro said, the image disappearing. "It's doesn't matter what you are on the outside, it's what's on the inside that matters. You have a kind heart, which is what some people will look for instead of what you look like. They won't see you as any different if they know you're a pony from an alternative version of this world, they'll always be your friends.
Twilight looked at Spyro and at Spike, both looking at her while Spyro held her hand, Spike putting his paw on her lap as she scratche dhis head, smiling as she looked to Spyro.
"You're right guys." Twilight said. "Alright, let's go tell them." Twilight got up and opened the curtains, everyone looking at them as they approached. "Girls, we have something we need to tell you."
"What is is sugarcube?" Applejack asked.
"Unfortunately, the fall formal isn't happening today." Spyro answered.
"WHAT!?" Pinkie asked, completely shocked.
"Sunset Shimmer ruined everything." Spyro replied. "Causing the Fall Formal to be postponed to tomorrow night."
"WHAT!?" Pinkie screamed again.
"And it's important the formal happens tonight." Twilight continued.
"WHA-!" Pinkie tried to scream, but Applejack covered her mouth, looking at them.
"And why is it important we do it tonight?" Applejack asked.
Twilight looked at Spyro, clearly nervous to tell them, but he nodded his head, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to calm her down.
"Well, you see..." Twilight said, pausing to get the right words.
"Oh, does it have to do with the both of you being from an alternative version of our world and you came here to take back the crown that Sunset Shimmer took, both of you being ponies in that world while Spyro is a hybrid prince while you're a pony princess and your crown has a powerful magical element that powers five others and with out it, the other eleemnts are useless, so you need to get it back before tomorrow, otherwise the portal you used to get here will close and you'll be stuck here for a really, really long time." Pinkie said.
They all looked at her, Spyro, Twilight, and SPike looking at her in complete disbelief as she had it down to the letter, closing and rubbing his eyes as he groaned.
"Pinkie..." Spyro said, groaning in annoyance.
"Yeah, you'll get used to that." Rainbow Dash said. "She's a random one."
"Pinkie, why?" Spyro asked. "Why do you have to break the fourth wall? Every. Single. TIME! I mean, I litterally have the construction crew on speed dial to fix the Fourth wall everytime either Pinkie Pie or Discord breaks it! I mean, the repair bill is getting out of control with how today's economy is!" The world then paused as Spyro looked at the reader, looking very worried. "And believe me, the materials aren't cheap."
The world resumed as Spyro looked back to the human version of their friends, who looked surprised at Spyro's outburst.
"Wait, so, what she said was true?" Applejack asked.
"Yep, she's spot on." Spike said, shocking everyone.
"HE CAN TALK!?" Rarity asked, freaking out the most!
"Oh, you have no idea how long I wanted to talk after coming to this world." Spike said. "Feels good to finally say something. And I'm not even a dog. Back where I'm from, I'm a ferocious, fire breathing dragon!"
Spyro couldn't help but snicker, Spike looking at him as he tried to hold his laughter in.
"Ok, fire breathing, that's true." Spyro said. "But ferocious? You're no more intimidating than a box of cereal."
"This is amazing!" Fluttershy said, clearly the most excited as she knocked everyone out of the way.
"Wait, let me get this straight, you're both ponies?" Applejack asked.
"And you're both royalty!?" Rarity asked, clearly shocked.
"And you're both from another world?" Fluttershy asked.
"Pretty much, yes." Spyro replied, Twilight lookign nervous.
"That... is... awesome!" Rainbow Dash said. "Tell me, is there a pony me in your world!?"
"There is, yes." Spyro replied. "A pny version of everyone here. And... they're apart of my herd."
"Herd?" Applejack asked. "As in, agroup of females all staying with a single male?"
"Yep." Twilight replied, holding his arm. "He's a great herd leader. And in our world Applejack, your pony version is pregnant."
That bit of information ended up breaking Applejack, making her murmer something to herself, looking very stressed out as her eyes spun around, collapsing onto the ground while everyone gathered around her.
"Maybe you should have left that part out." Spyro said.
"You serious!?" Rainbow Dash asked, helping APplejack up as she shook her head. "Pony AJ is going to be a mother!? Who's the father!?"
"That would be me." Spyro replied.
"Wait, if pony me is going to have a baby, does that mean... Ah'm also having one!?" Applejack asked, freaking out as she looked at her stomach.
"No, of course not." Spyro replied, relieving her. "If what happened in our world happened here, you'd have felt the symptoms at the same time my AJ did."
"Tell me, is it a boy or a girl!?" Fluttershy asked, clearly excited. "I want to know so badly!"
"Easy little butterfly, we don't know yet." Spyro answered. "She's only been pregnant for a couple of weeks or so. it's still pretty early. But right now, we need to fix what has been done to the gym."
"He's right girls!" Applejack said. "We got a lot of work ahead of us to get everything back on track for the Fall Formal and not a lot of time! We need to get to work now and fix what has been destroyed! Come on girls, and guy, let's get going!"
They then ran out of the boutique and rushed to the gymnasium, seeing the destruction again and seeing they had a lot of work ahead of them as they walked in.
"I can't believe they could have done this without anyone noticing." Rarity said.
"I'm inclined to agree with you Rare." Spyro said, kneeling down to the disco bal and finding large claw marks. "Something else was in here. Something... dark."
"I know it looks impossible, but if we work together, we can get this place fixed up." Twilight said, turning to them.
"Now that's the can do attitude that a Fall Formal Princess needs!" Applejack said as music was starting up. "Let's do it ya'll!"
They app put their hands together, throwing them into the air as they went to get the cleaning supplies.
[Twilight Sparkle]
It's time for us to come together,
It's the only way that things will get better!
[Spyro]
It's time for us to take a stand,
So come on and lend a helping hand!
Twilight and Spyro went in and grabbed some brooms from the utilities closet, passing them out to the girls and they got to work, sweeping up the confetti on the ground and putting them all in trashbags, Spyro and Applejack taking them outside and throwing them in the dumpster and in no time, the floor was cleared of any and all confetti.

As Twilight and Spyro were getting the tables set up, a small group of students saw them repairing the damage done by Shimmer and her flunkies did, coming in and helping with the tables and chairs, carrying them out.

A moment later, Applejack was carrying another table under her arm, shocking two fo the students who were helping with the tables while Spyro was carrying six of them, surprising everyone all at once, making some of the female students oogle over him while others were helping Fluttershy and Rarity redecorate.

After a while, the entire school was helping out with restoring the gym, carryign sound equipment in and allowing for the tech teens to work on setting everything up while also setting the spotlights up, everyone wanting this dance to happen just as badly as they did. A while later, Flash Sentry came in with some of the rock students to help with the sound equipment, getting everything ready for tonight while the principals were watching, having noticed everyone coming to the gym and saw how hard everyone was working together, crossing their arms and smiling.

When everything was done, the stage was fully restored and the entire room was redecorated, the food was set, everything was better than it was before, Pinkie tearing up as she saw it, wiping away the tears.
"This... looks... AMAZING!" Pinkie shouted. "It looks far better than it did before! Am I loosing my touch?"
"No Pinkie, you haven't." Spyro said. "To me, you haven't lost your touch. You still throw the best parties ever."
Pinkie felt a pang against her chest, blushing she she smiled, not being complimented like that before as they heard someone clapping, seeing it was the principal and next to her was the vice principal.
"I must say, you all did a fantastic job getting everything back in order." Celestia said. "And now that the gym is back in order, I see no reason why we can't have the dance tonight." Everyone then cheered, hearing that the dance was going to be taking place again. "Now you better get going and be sure to get dressed up for tonight. And don't forget to cast your vote for Fall Formal Princess."
The students filed out single file, casting their votes, which they were all going to vote for Twilight, making her smile and bringing them hope as Spyro wrapped his arm around her waist, hugging her as they stood on the stage. Outside of the gym, Sunset Shimmer was shocked t see the entire gym was back in order, falling to her knees as she yelled in frustration.
"I can't believe it!" Sunset Shimmer shouted. "Even with tose two morons, the Formal is still going to happen tonight and everyone is voting for that stupid pony princess! The crown is mine! MINE YOU HEAR ME, MINE!"
A moment later, dark mist was coming off of her and from the darkness, dozens of Flood appeared around her, surprising Sunset Shimmer, but they didn't attack her, wondering what they were and why they were around her.
"I must say, you're anger and darkness is quite strong." A voice said. Sunset Shimmer turned around to see who it was that was talking to her, finding Vanitas leaning against the wall, looking at her. "You know, I can help you get the crown and get you what you desire most of all. But in exchange, you're going to help me." He then reached his hand down to her, wanting to pick her up as behind the mask, he was smiling. "Help me to destroy the prince and his little girlfriend."
At Rarity's boutique, everyone had gathered there to egt ready for the dance that night, Spyro finding a tuz he could wear and put it on, though it felt restrictive, he looked good in it. After a while, he came out and saw that most of the girls were ready for the dance, Applejack wearing a blue dress with red apples around the skirt and a white ascot around her neck while she wore her boots, her steston, and had a red rose pinned to the stetson. Rarity was wearing an aqua blue dress with white boots and a diamond pinned to those boots while Rainbow Dash was wearing a rainbow colored dress with red boots that had wings on them, a red sash and had a golden cloud on it. Fluttershy was wearing a baby blue and yellow dress with baby blue boots and butterflies on the laces while Pinkie was wearing a dress that had a dark purple and light purple skirt on, a light blue top with a yellow bow on her stomach, the three balloons on her skirt, and a light blue top hat on her head, Spyro's eyes lighting up as he saw them.
"Wow, you look amazing." Spyro said. "You girls look amazing."
"Aw, you're so kind Spyro dear." Rarity said. "But wait until you see Twilight."
As she said that, they moved out of the way to reveal Twilight, wearing a hot magenta dress with a single purple stripe going with a couple of white stripes around her stomach, wearing the same hot magenta boots and three white stars on the skirt, looking at Spyro as his face turned completely red, feeling his heart race as he saw her.
"Well, how do I look?" Twilight asked.
Spyro was completely speechless, frozen to the spot witha surprised and shocked expression on his face, so Pinkie took a stethoscpe and put it against his head, hearing a sound similar to the disconnected sound heard on phones, giggling.
"He likes it." Pinkie said. "But I think we broke him."
"Beautiful." Spyro said, finally saying something. "You look... absolutely beautiful."
Twilight blushed, twirling her hair as she smiled, walking up and pressing against him, the two looking at one another lovingly as they got close.
"Thank you Spyro... for believing in me." Twilight said. "Yoi are truly a great coltfriend."
"You're more than welcome, princess." Spyro said, wrapping his arm around her waist as they both kissed, the group smiling at them as they allowed them to have their moment when Rainbow Dash cleared her throat, getting their attention.
"It's touching and all, but we're going to be late!" Rainbow Dash said. "We need to hurry and get you guys there to get the crown!"
"Rainbow Dash, you're so boorish!" Rarity said. "Let them have their moment."
They all laughed at the two of them, everyone having a laugh as they went out and got into a limo that Rarity's parents had rented for them, having it drive them to the school doors as they got out, walking to the doors to joint he dance.
"Spyro, Twilight!" Flash sentry said, getting their attention. "Wow, you guys look great."
"Thanks Flash." Spyro said. "Where's you're date?"
"Don't have one." Flash replied. "The only one who didn't have a date was Shimmer. So, I opted to dance solo."
"Oh, that's too bad." Spyro said. "Hey, maybe one of the other girls can dance with you. I'm sure they wouldn't turn you down."
"Ah, it's alright." Flash replied. "It's no big deal to me. But... I'd be careful around Sunset Shimmer. Even though she's mean and nasty, she use to be sweet and kind. I don't know what changed, but I know there is still good in her. I know it."
Spyro and Twilight looked at one another, both unsure of if Sunset Shimmer could be saved at this point, but were willing to do what they could to save her. At the dance, everything was in full swing, students dancing, lights flashing, everyone shouting and cheering as they were all having a good time, no longer afraid of Sunset Shimmer or what she would do to them, letting themselves enjoy the night without her being there. On the dance floor, the girls were all dancing, enjoying their time while Spyro was dancing with them, he and Twilight dancing together as they smiled, glad to enjoy themselves for the first time in a long time. After a while, the music ended as Principal Celestia took the stage, everyone looking to her as she had a card in her hand, tapping the microphone.
"Your attention everybody." Celestia said. "First of all, I would like to say how wonderful everything looks tonight. All of you did a spelnded job of bringing everything together after it was destroyed earlier." Everyone in the audience cheered, clearly happy with their efforts to make everything possible. "And now, without further ado, I wish to annouce the winner of this years Fall Formal Crown."
They all looked to Luna, seeing her carry the chest and open it to reveal the crown with the Element of Harmony, Spyro and Twilight smiling, but then they both felt a disturbance, looking around and wondering what it was they felt.
"Did you feel that?" Spyro asked.
"I did." Twilight replied. "What was that? Was that the Force?"
"It was." Spyro replied. "It let's us know if danger is close or next to us. Be ready."
"This years Fall Formal princess is... Twilight Sparkle!" Celestia said.
The entire crowd cheered as she said Twilight's name, the princess walking up the stage and standing before the human version of her mentor, the principal taking the crown and putting it on her head. Twilight waved her hand, happy to have her crown back as Spyro and everyone clapped for her, cheering for her as she started to cry, feeling happy that she was loved.
"Twilight, help!" Spike shouted.
They looked around, trying to figure out who said that when Spyro spotted the baby dragion turned itno a dog, being carried away by Snips and Snails outside, chuckling to themselves.
"Twilight, they got Spike!" Spyro shouted.
He then started to run to the exit, Twilight following close behind along with their new friends, running down the halls after the two boys until they reached outside, skidding to a halt as he saw an entire army of Unversed standing outside, Scrappers, Flood, Bruisers, Red Hot Chili's, about every kind of Unversed ever imagined outside, Sunset Shimmer and right next to her was Vanitas, his arms crossed as he was leaning on the statue that acted as the portal to their home, Sunset Shimmer holding a sledgehammer as she held it up, ready to swing.
"That's close enough." Sunset Shimmer said, getting ready to destroy the statue. "One more step, and you loose your only ticket hime."
"Twilight, don't listen to-" Spike said, Snails holding his muzzle shut.
"Don't hurt him." Twilight said.
"Oh, I wouldn't dream of it." Sunset said, a couple of Scrappers approaching. "No. Let him go" They were confused, wondering why she would say that, but Snips and Snails released Spike, the dog running over to the group as Twilight knelt down and hugged him. "See, I'm not a monster. In fact, how about a trade? Give me the crown and you can leave here and return home, tonight. Or, you can keep it, but you'll never go home!"
"What will it be girl?" Vanitas asked. "You got less than an hour before the portal closes. The crown, or home?"
Twilight was at a crossroads, taking the crown off and looking at it, unsure of what to do.
"What do I do?" Twilight thought to herself. "If I give up the crown, Equestria will be defenseless, but I can see my friends again and be with those I care about. But it I keep it, Sunset Shimmer with destroy our only way home."
"Unsure of yourself, are you, hm?" A familiar voice asked.
Twilight looking up and finding she was in a dark room and in front of her was Yoda, sitting on a log as he smiled at her.
"Master Yoda?" Twilight asked. "What are you doing here?"
"To help you young one I came." Yoda replied. "To help you understand. Herh herh herh."
"Understand?" Twilight asked. "Understand what?"
"Throughout a jedi's life, many difficult decision they must make, there are." Yoda replied. "For the good of others, let go, they must. Always make things right in the end, the force will. Trust in yourself. Trust in the force. Trust... in your friends."
The vision ended as she was back in the courtyard, Shimmer getting ready to destroy the portal, but Twilight made her decision, looking at the opposition as she stood up.
"No." Twilight replied.
"WHAT!?" Sunset Shimmer asked, both she and Vanitas surrpised that she said that. "Did you hear yourself!? If I destroy this portal, you'll never be able to get back home! You and your boyfriend will be trapped here forever! Without you, your world will be destroyed!"
"Yes, but I also saw what you were able to do without magic." Twilight said, holding the crown. "Equestria will find a way to survive without me and without my element. But if I gave it to you, this world and other worlds out there won't survive!" As she said that, some of the stars started to glimmer brightly, energy flowing from them as wisps of magic traversed on the ground, going into both Twilight and Spyro. "So go ahead, destroy the portal! But you will never get this crown. For I have faith in my self, my friends, both here and in Equestria, and I have faith in the Force!"
Sunset Shimmer was shocked, seeing how she was ready to give up her one chance to go home for her new friends, ready to destroy the portal, but she looked at Spyro, remembering in the video how fast he was without the bracers, so she closed her eyes, knowing she was beat.
"Fine, you win." Sunset Shimmer said.
She tossed the hammer down, the head landing on the ground with a loud thud as they watched her give up, looking to Vanitas as he looked at them, possibly smiling underneath his mask.
"Yes, you won, this round." Vanitas replied. A moment later, an Arch Raven swooped down and grabbed the crown, making everyone gasp in horror as it took the crown to Vanitas, passing it to Sunset Shimmer. "Your crown, my lady."
"Finally." Sunset Shimmer said, taking it. "All the power I ever wanted. It's finally... MINE!"
"Shimmer, don't!" Spyro shouted.
Sunset Shimmer then put the crown on, her laughter turning to scrams of pain as the Elements power came out, making her float in the air as a pillar of dark magic took over, tendrils of darkness rising up as it entered the pillar, Vanitas laughing as he stood back.
"Finally... the ultimate power." Vanitas said. "The culmination of darkness and light! The perfect evil!"
"What did you do Vanitas!?" Spyro shouted.
"It's not I that did anything." Vanitas answered, watching as Sunset Shimmer started to transform. "In her pursuit of power, she didn't look at the fine print of the Element of Magic. If used by someone whose heart is pure and kind, then it's power can be used to bring great good and harmony. But if one whose heart is filled with darkness, hatred and pain puts it on, then it has the power to unravel harmony at the root!"
They looked at Sunset Shimmer, seeing her skin was red hot, wearing a black, yellow, and red dress and boots with a ponytail and imp ears with blacked out eyes with cyan colored irises and demon wings, looking down at them as she laughed.
"So much power." She said. "I can feel it."
"Oh boy." Snips said.
"Snips, Snails, get out of here, NOW!" Spyro shouted.
"You don't have to tell us twice!" Snails said.
They tried to run, but were blocked off, the Unversed surrounding them as Sunset Shimmer laughed, everyone in the school terrified of what they saw as they locked the doors to try and keep Shimmer out.
"For so long, I had to jump through so many hoops to get this crown." Sunset Shimmer said. "And it should have been mine in the first place!" She looked ready to kill, wanting to tear the school apart, but just calmed down. "But let's let bygones be bygones. I am your princess now, and this world and Equestria... are MINE!"
She destroyed the door and everyone began running away, raising her hand as the darkness swallowed the students, turning them into both Heartless and Nobodies, her own personal army coming out of the school and surrounding everyone as Spyro and Twilight both called their Keyblades, ready for a fight as they got surrounded.
"You weren't planning on destroying the portal at all." Spyro said, looking at her. "You're going to use it to get back to Equestria!"
"Of course I was." Sunset Shimmer said. "Not that I have my own personal army of monsters, Equestria will be mine! All mine!"
"Not while I'm still standing!" Spyro said. "Twilight, fusion, now!"
"Oh no you don't!" Vanitas said.
As the dome was being made, Vanitas sent a surge of dark magic along the ground, hitting the dome and leaving it half complete as Sunset Shimmer shot a powerful bolt of dark magic, hitting Spyro in the chest and destroying the dome, sending him flying backwards as pieces of Beskar flew everywhere, making him fall to the ground unconcious as Twilight looked on in horror.
"SPYRO!" Twilight shouted.
She ran over to her fallen boyfriend, scooping him and seeing he was badly hurt, but magic doing it's best to heal him while Sunset Shimmer laughed, Twilight feeling her heart drop into her stomach as she put her head on his chest.
"Oh my, the Element of Harmony is more powerful than I thought!" Sunset Shimmer said. "It was powerful enough to break through that pesky armor he had underneath his shirt, think of what it'll do to everyone who opposes me! Not even you can stop me!"
"You're wrong." Twilight said, setting him down as she stood up, calling her blade as she grabbed it and looked to her. "I can stop you!"
"Oh please." Sunset Shimmer said. "What do you think you can do with that little toothpick? I have magic. And you don't! You've got nothing!"
"Wrong!" Rainbow Dash said, walking up next to Twilight. "She has us!"
"Oh yeah?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "And what can you possibly do to help her?"
"You don't see it, do you?" Twilight asked, lookign up at Sunset Shimmer. "You may have magic, but that isn't where true power comes from." As she said that, the stars started to shine brighter, no one realising they were shining. "True power comes from the heart. The heart is where your full potential lies, for it reaches out, calling to others who will in it's time of need. Only when everyone is together are they at their strongest." A second later, the emeralds on Spyro's chest started to glow, the Unversed backing away as Spyro started to levitate. "Spyro always had his friends, who gave him the power to keep fighting, growing stornger with every friend he made! You claim to have all the power, but there is one power that you don't have! The power of friendship!"
After her speech, Vanitas just started to clap, walking forward as he laughed.
"Bravo Twilight, bravo." Vanitas said. "You made quite the speech there. Too bad words can't save you in this situation."
Sunset Shimmer created a powerful ball of magic, raising it up and throwing it towards the group, which Twilight raised her keyblade to block it, but her friends covered her, trying to protect their friend as a brihgt light shined out, the explosion happening, but instead of there being a group of dead humans, a magical aura was surrounding them, creating a protective barrier around them as they hugged, looking around and finding they were alright.
"WHAT!?" Sunset Shimmer shouted, surprised to see them unharmed. "But how!?"
"It's because of the magic contained in my element." Twilight replied. "It protected those who helped to create it and protect it's true bearer." As she said that, a burst of energy shot out, hitting the group as it started to change them, Applejack growing pony ears as her hair grew longer, shining brighter thasn it did before as she stood their, holding the tip of her hat as she smiled. "Honesty!" Fluttershy's hair grew longer as well, growing pony ears, but this time she grew a pair of pegasi wings. "Kindness!" Pinkie grew a pair of ears as well, her hair growing longer and becoming poofier as she did a cartwheel, smiling as she landed perfectly. "Laughter!" Rarity was next, her hair growing longer, more elegant and curled, posing with grace and elegance. "Generosity!" A moment later, a rainbow zoomed by, Rainbow Dash's ears growing in, her hair growing longer as her wings appeared. "Loyalty!" Then it was Twilight's turn, her hair growing longer as her wings appeared, a aura appearing on her forehead as she looked at Sunset Shimmer. "And Magic!"
A moment later, the light shined brighter, forcing Sunset Shimmer and Vanitas to try and block the light as they looked at Twilight and her friends.
"Impossible!" Sunset Shimmer shouted. "I hold the power! I'm all powerful! I'm the true bearer of magic!"
"But you don't carry the ultimate form of magic Sunset Shimmer." Twilight replied. "The magic of friendship."
Sunset Shimmer tried to unleash a powerful torrent of dark magic, focusing everything as she fired a beam of pure power towards the group, but it failed to hit as a suddent burst of magic shot out, seven rings appearing and rotating around the group, blocking the attack as the Seven Chaos Emeralds appeared, creating the shield as the six girls were surrounded by a golden dome, shocking them.
"What's happening!?" Sunset Shimmer asked.

A second later, the dome shattered and six ethereal ponies shot out, running past Sunset Shimmer as they each hit her, makign her gasp in pain ad she was knocked to the ground, looking to see Spyro was floating in the air, a bright golden light shinning behind him as he opened his eyes, revealing they were now red, shooting into the sky followed closely by the ponies and the emeralds, turning them gold as they ran around him.

Harmonious Prince Spyro~~~~!
As the song went, the two earthponies neight out, flying towards Spyro as the poofy maned one turned to gold and pink light, going into his left leg while the other earthpony turned to gold and orange light, hitting his right arm, turning those two parts gold while also adding orange to the right arm and pink to the left leg. The the unicorn and pink maned pegasi neighed out, the unicorn turning to gold and white light and going into the left arm while the pegasi turned into gold and yellow light, going into the right leg as those parts turned gold, white being added to the left arm while yellow was appearing on the leg. Then the Alicorn and rainbow maned pegasi neighed out as they turned to golden light as well, gold and cyan going to the back while gold and lavender went to the chest, creating a golden torso, but then golden wings sprouted out, rainbow colored feathers appearing on the wings as cyan moved along the rim of the wings while lavender appeared on the armor, a purple dragon roaring out as it turned to light and surrounded his head, creating a dragon helmet as it roared again, Spyro opening his eyes as he levitated in the air, shocking Sunset Shimmer and Vanitas.
"This is impossible." Vanitas said. "I interrupted your fusion! You shouldn't be able to use a drive! YOU SHOULD'NT!"
"That's the thing about friendship Vanitas." Spyro said, looking at him. "It knows no limitation to what it can do."
"It won't matter!" Sunset Shimmer said, Spyro looking at her. "I will get to Equestria! It will be mine! And I'll get there, by going through you!"
She send a storm of energy attacks at him, but the left arm glowed as he raised it, creating a wall of reflective crystals and sent the energy back at Shimmer, making her scream as his left leg glowed pink, shattering the air in front of him as he flew through, the space in front of Shimmer shattering again as Spyro called the harmony blade and started to swing, landing a solid hit and making her fly backwards. Sunset Shimmer growled in anger as she flew up, raising her hands as thousands of Heartles appeared, sending them down towards Spyro, but his wings started to glow and he flew towards them, storm clouds surrounding him as thunder and lightning arched between the clouds, unleashing a massive storm that eletrocuted the Heartless, stunning them as his left arm glowed again, spinning around as he summoned thousands of crystals, going through the Heartless and releasing the hearts itno the sky, but instead of disappearing, his torso glowed lavender, the hearts being encased in a lavender aura as the Nobodies charged.
He looked down and his right leg was glowing yellow, flying down and slamming into the ground and unleashed a massive quake, tree roots and vines shooting out and encasing the Nobodies, collecting them all into a singular massive ball. His wings then glowed again as he shot up, flying high into the sky as a cumulonimbus cloiud, or an Anvil cloud if you would like to call it, appeared and sent down a massive bolt of lightning and violent gust of wind to the blade, encasing it as his right arm glowed orange, dropping down and slamming into the ball, causing a massive explosion as the Nobodies scattered and were destroyed, the hearts collecting the essence of the Nobodies and turning back to students, being set down gently as they started to stir, seeing Spyro in the armor as he starred down the Unversed. His torso then glowed again as a massive star appeared behind him, unleashing a burst of light as the light blinded the Unversed, destroying them while burning Vanitas, making him yell in pain as he felt his very being getting torn apart, calling a corridor and fleeing through it to survuve the attack.
"Such power." Sunset Shimmer said. "I didn't think it was possible."
"Anything is possible when you have your friends by your side." Spyro replied. "That is why you could never be the bearer of the Element of Harmony, because you don't have any friends."
"Friends?" Sunset Shimmer asked, scoffing at the idea. "What good are friends when you could have power? When I was the princesses student, I was the best of the best, I held magic that others only dreamed about. But when I discovered she could make a pony an Alicorn, I wanted her to change me into one, but she said I needed to learn compassion and friendship. It's a bunch of nonsense."
"It's not nonsense Shimmer." Spyro replied, dismissing his blade. "Being a princess is more than just power. Being a princess, you must hold the qualities of friendship in your heart. You must be kind, honest, generous, loyal, and fun. These are only a few of the things that make a princess, whcih were some of the things that Celestia was trying to teach you." He could see she was shivering, loosing strength while he approached, Shimmer raising her hand to attack, but something held her back, her magic sparking and failing her. "She saw potential in you to become a princess, but because you cared only about power, she saw the darkness in you, feeding off you, controlling you. Your lust for power is what brought you your downfall Shimmer."
"No, you're lying!" Sunset Shimmer said, summoning a beam of magic. "YOU LIE!"
She then fired he beam at him, but the beam shrunk, growing weaker until it was no bigger than a toothpick, htting the armor and breaking, shocking her.
"The darkness in you fed off of you, corrupted you, and it's now destroying you." Spyro said.
"Stop it!" Sunset Shimmer said, backing away.
"But I know there is still some good in you." Spyro continued, floating towards her.
"Don't come near me!" Sunset Shimmer said, throwing an orb of magic, but it just bounced off him.
"You felt alone." Spyro said, still approaching her. "Afraid, betrayed. You thought that the princess didn't care about you, but she really did."
"Shut up!" Sunset Shimmer shouted, throwing more magic at him, but it grew weaker and bounced off him, not having any affect.
"She knew that by making you an Alicorn, it would be your downfall." Spyro added. "That the power would destroy you and your light would fade, completely disappear and you'd become a true moster. Like you are now."
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Sunset Shimmer screamed, backed into a wall as she released a wave of dark magic at him, but the magic just washed over him, not having any affect as he approached.
"No Shimmer, I won't do that." Spyro replied, stopping in front of her. "You've been alone for too long. No friends, no one to lean to, all you had was your bitterness and your hatred for the princess and for all of Equestria to keep you going. Being in this world for all this time, you felt afraid, discarded, and angry. You destroyed friendships, maing everyone afraid of you, forcing them to do your bidding, thinking that being feared was better and being loved. But not this time." Without warning, Spyro grabbed her and pulled her in for a hug, shocking her as she wanted to attack him, but something inside her was stoping her, looking behind him and seeing her uncorrupted self, holding the crown and looking at her, glarring at her as Spyro stood next to her, holding her shoulder as the others stood next to them. "You've been without a friend all this time, no one to support and care about you. So let me be the first."
Sunset Shimmer felt something hit against her chest, feling her heart racing, but not out of fear, but from something else, her arms wrapping around him as she pressed her face in his chest, crying as she allowed all the pain and fear to pour out as tears, feeling safe and loved around him. But unfortunately, her darkness had other ideas as dark flames shot up, breaking the hug up as she screamed in agony, the flames going over her as she twisted and turned in pain, cracks appearing on her as she screamed, looking to Spyro as she reached her hand out, her eyes turning back to normal as Spyro saw a light appear on her chest.
"Please." Sunset Shimmer said, tears rolling down her eyes. "Help me."
Without waiting, Spyro summoned his Harmony Keyblade again and lunged forward, the keyhole appearing on her chest as the blade hit it, making her gasp as he turned the blade to the right, a bright light shining out from her chest as it enveloped them both. A moment later, Spyro opened his eyes and saw he was in Sunset Shimmers heart, a red stainglass platform with her pony self leaning back against a wall with books around her, an image of the princess in one of the books, but there were cracks and dark tendrils appearing, her heart breaking apart as Spyro looked around.
"I'm here Shimmer." Spyro said, looking around. "I'm here. Show me the way. Let me help you."
A moment later, a red double sided door appeared with her Cutie Mark on it and it opened, allowing the light to shine out as he appeared in her room, red and yellow walls with bookshelves, potions and pictures all around, finding that it looked like a library and in the center of it, it was the pony version of her corrupted form, crying in the middle of the room as he walked over, turning into his pony form as he sat down next to her.
"You're right." Sunset Shimmer said, looking at him. "All I ever wanted to have was power, no matter the cost. When I found that the princess could change anypony into an Alicorn, I demanded she make me one, not understanding nor carring about the consequences or who I would hurt. I thought she was being selfish, but I was the one being selfish, turning myself into a monster."
"That's the dangerous thing about power Shimmer." Spyro said, wrapping his foreleg around her. "When one get's a taste for power, they want more, and more, and more until it corrupts their very being, turning them into a monster, like you said."
"This world and Equestria is better off without me." Sunset Shimmer said, getting up and looking in the mirror. "Look at me. No one will be my friend after what I have done. No one."
"No Shimmer, that's not true." Spyro said, getting up and walking up next to her. "That's the beautiful thing about friendship. No matter how hard you try to destroy it or how long you pretend to not care, you will always find that one friend who will stick by your side, now and forever." He looked in the mirror, seeing his human side, smiling at him before looking over at Sunset Shimmer, finding she was normal again as she cried, wiping away the tear from her eye as he wrapped his wing around her. "There is still time for you to make a friend Shimmer, it will just take some time for it to happen in this world. People will remember what you did, yes, but I believe that you have what it takes to find friendship and to become a better you than you were before." Sunset Shimmer looked up at Spyro, tears still rolling down her face as she hugged him, crying in his chest while he hugged her back, stroking her head to comfort her. A moment later, a light shined out from one of her books and the door reappeared, both looking to it before looking back to one another. "Time to go."
They both got up and approached the door, which it cracked open as light shined into the room, allowing them both to approach.
"Do you think I can be redeemed?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Forgiven for what I did?"
"Yes, I do in fact believe it." Spyro replied, smiling at her. "It won't be easy, nor will it be quick, but I have faith that you will find forginess from others and in yourself."
"But... will you be there if I need you?" Sunset Shimmer asked.
"Of course I'll be there." Spyro said, touching her chest. "I'll always be there, in your heart."
Sunset Shimmer smiled, huggig him again as the door opened and the light flooded in, engulfing them. In tbe real world, the pillar of dark flames died down and Sunset Shimmer fell down, about to hit the ground when Spyro grabbed her hand, pulling her back up and hugging her again as her corruption faded away, Sunset Shimmer waking up as she looked around, seein the destruction she caused as Spyro's fusion ended, the girls all seperating while still having their pony transformations activated while Spyro kept hugging her, Sunset Shimmer crying again and hugging him tightly as she burried her face in his chest.
"I'm so sorry." Sunset Shimmer said, everyone hearing it as the approached. "I should have seen there was another way."
"The magic of friendship just doesn't exist in Equestria." Twilight said, Suset Shimmer looking at her. "It exists in all of the worlds. That's what makes us stronger. You can either make friends, or forever be alone."
"But... all I've done was drive everyone away." Sunset Shimmer said. "How do I learn about Friendship?"
"Maybe they can help you." Spyro said, turning to their friends. "It won't be easy, but in time, you'll understand the magic of friendship."
"Alright, those are my girls and my guy!" Spike shouted.
"Did that dog just talk!?" One of the students asked.
"You serious!?" Spyro exclaimed. "Out of all that happened tonight, a talking dog is the weirdest thing to you!?"
Everyone was laughing at the outburst, even SPyro could help but chuckle until they heard someone clearing their throat, turning to see the principal coming to them.
"I believe this belongs to you." Celestia said, holding the Crown to Twilight. "A true princess leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand by her." Twilight knelt before the human version of Celestia, who put the crown on her head. "You have shown you have what it takes to be a princess. I hope you see it too."
Twilight smiled, standing up as Spyro walked up next to her, wrapping around his arm as she leaned on him.
"I do." Twilight replied.
Everyone cheered as Twilight said that, cheering for the heroes of the night as Shimmer felt nervous, wanting to hide in the crowd, but Applejack took her hand, surprising her as she brought her towards the group, Spyro turning to them as he smiled.
"You're in good hands Shimmer." Spyro said, turning to their new friends. "We may have only been friends for a short time, but we will always hold you close in our hearts."
"Will we ever see you again?" Applejack asked.
"Someday, maybe." Spyro replied. "In the next thrity moons, probably. Which, it would be about thirty years."
"Actually, it's one month." Sunset Shimmer said, correcting him. "One moon is equal to one day. So, the portal will open again in thirty days."
"Wait, seriously?" Spyro asked, looking at Twilight. "Well, I feel like an idiot."
"Don't worry, I kinda thought the same thing three years ago." Sunset Shimmer said, rubbing her arm. "I... I want to apologize... for everything I ever did."
"Hey, it's alright Shimmer." Spyro said, hugging her. "The past is the past, we shouldn't dwell on it. But..." He looked up and saw Luna was walking towards them, looking calm, yet he could sense she was mad. "Something tells me you got a lot of apologies to hand out."
Luna then gave her a broom and an entire cleaning cart, Sunset Shimmer cringing as she took it and rolled it along to the school.
"You will help her, won't you?" Twilight asked. "Help her be a better person?"
"Trust me darling, she'll be fine." Rarity said. "We'll make sure she's safe and is surrounded by good friends."
They all looked at their friends, Spyro and Twilight not wanting to leave them behind, but SPyro looked at the sky, seeing that time was running out, so he grabbed Twilight's hand, holding it.
"It's time to go little Bookworm." Spyro said.
"I know Spyro." Twilight said, looking at their new friends. "Good luck everyone. I... I'm going to miss you."
"We'll miss you to Twilight." Applejack said, hugging her. "We'll miss you too."
They all shared one last hug, enjoying the moment before the two Keyblade warriors ended it, walking back to the portal to go home as Spike walked behind them.
"You know, that crown is looking good on you, princess." Twilight said.
"Yeah, I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable wearing this thing." Twilight said. "But I'll be happy to be on all fours again. Being on two legs and having hands all the time? No thank you."
"And what about the wings?" Spyro asked. "You getting use to them yet?"
"Believe me, dealing with these things is going to be a dream compared to what I have dealt with while here." Twilight said, stopping at the portal and turning to see their friends again, tears welling up as she looked at them. "I'll miss them."
"As will I." Spyro replied, looking to them. "But we can come back someday and visit them. I promise."
twilight looked at Spyro again, the two sharing a kiss before they and Spike walked through the portal and as they did, the transformations that the Human 5 went through disappeared, Rainbow Dash falling on her butt while Pinkie ran to the protal, slamming into it and groaning.
"Aw, I wanted it to last a little longer!" Pinkie said, crossing her arms and pouting like a kid while the others giggled at her.
In Equestria, everyne was waiting anxiously for their friends to return, Rainbow Dash pacing back and forth while the others sit nervously, Applejack being the most nervous as she wanted Spyro to return and not be stranded in another world for thirty moons, placing her hoof on her stomach as she couldn't imagine raising a baby without him. A moment later, the portal started to ripple and from it, Twilight and Spyro both walked out, Spyro on all fours while twilight came out on her hind legs, wobbling a bit before falling and landing on her forehooves, relieved to be back home.
"Twilight, Spyro!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, hugging them. "Oh, we're so glad you're back!"
"And you got the crown back too!" Rarity said, trotting to them. "Little worse for wear, but looks like everything it alright."
"I knew you could do it!" Pinkie exclaimed, hugging them both.
Applejack was the most emotional, tears rolling down her face as she rushed up and hugged Spyro, glad to have hom back as she looked at him.
"We were all worried ya'll wouldn't get back in time." Applejack said. "Ah was worried that-"
"Hey, it's me AJ." Spyro said, hugging her back. "I'd never leave you. Not now, nor ever."
"Sunset Shimmer." Princess Celestia asked. "Is she alright?"
"She's fine." Spyro replied, ending the hug. "The darkness nearly swallowed her, but we managed to reach her in time and save her. She's in good hands now."
A moment later, Spike came out of the portal, slamming into Twilight and making her yelp and looking at him, raising an eye brow at him.
"Ah, feels good to be back." Spike said.
"Aw, Spikey-wikey!" Rarity said, hugging and pressing his cheeks. "I'm so happy you're alright! You had us so worried!"
"So, what was it like!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "What was the other world like!?"
"Where did you stay?" Rarity asked.
"Did you have fun!?" Pinkie asked.
"Girls, girls, please." Spyro said, walking to the door. "All your questions will be answered in time. For now, It's time for bed. I'm pooped."
He opened the door and as he didn. He ran into the orange prgasi guard they met earlier in the throne room, looking spooked as he saluted.
"So sorry sir!" The pegasi said. "I didn't mean to-"
"Relax soldier, it's fine." Spyro said. "Hey, yu're the guy who announced us. Never did get your name."
"Oh, I'm Flash Sentry sir." The soldier replied, Spyro and Twilight looking to one another, stiffling their laughter at the coincidence. "But I wasd tolds to come find you."
"You were?" Spyro asked. "Why? Who asked you?"
"Someone called... Riku I think." Flash replied, surprising Spyro. "He talked to me through some kind of strange device you had in your room sir. I know I shouldn't have, but-"
"Relax Flash, it's alright." Spyro replied. "Tell me, what did he say?"
"He wanted you and all your friends to be together." Flash Sentry replied. "Said something about someplace called Wonderland."
Everyone looked at one another, Spyro and Applejack looking very worried as they knew what that meant while the others looked at them quizzically, wondering what it was Riku wanted to talk to them about.
