Chapter 212: Return of the Beldam part 3: Fall of the Beldam (Part 1)
Coraline and Scootaloo were busy moving furniture in front of the bedroom door, trying to make it difficult to near impossible to get in, even if this was the Beldam's world, they had to do everything they could to be safe.
"You were right about the Other Mother." Coraline said. "She's a monster."
"Worse than that." Scootaloo said, tossing the toys into the chest. "We need to get out of here and not come back, no matter what."
"Agreed." Coraline said, walking over to the bed. "It's best we go to sleep and get back home as soon as possible."
They both got into their beds and closed their eyes, attempting to go to sleep so thyey culd get out of that world as quickly as possible. However, in Equestria, Apple Bloom was getting back into her bed as Spyrp burst into the room with Applejack close behind, seeing the worried look on his face as a red light was blinking off of his bracer.
"Apple Bloom, what's going on!?" Spyro asked in panic. "My bracer went off and... wait, where's Scootaloo?"
"Uh, about that." Apple Bloom said, looking to the door.
Spyro followed her gaze to where she was looking, seeing she was looking at the chest, but knew that it probably wasn't what she was looking at, so she walked over to the chest and his eyes widened in horror, seeing the doorway into the Other world and looking to Apple Bloom.
"Apple Bloom, what is this?" Spyro asked, turning to her and not looking happy. "What did you do?"
"Ah'm sorry." Apple Bloom said, tears rolling down her face as she ran to him and hugged him. "Ah'm so sorry, we didn't know that the movie was dangerous."
"The movie?" Applejack asked, remembering the one Spyro told her about and looked at her. "Ya mean you and yer friends watched the Coraline movie!?"
"We didn't know it was a key to a dangerous monsters world!" Apple Bloom replied, crying into Spyro's chest. "We didn't finish the movie and didn't know what happens to Coraline, so Scootaloo went in there to-"
"Wait, she went in there!?" Spyro shouted. "WILLINGLY!?"
"She just wanted to save her from the Beldam." Apple Bloom said, looking up at him with tears rolling down her face. "She wanted to warn her about the monster and... and... and..."
She then cried more into Spyro's chest, seeing how upset the filly was and sighed, stroking her head to calm her down as she continued to cry, not noticing that the door was opening.
"It's alright Apple Bloom." Spyro said. "It's alright. Calm down. Calm down. I know you both mean well, but this is not a game." As he was talking, the Beldam came out of the door, transforming into her true form as she stood over them. "If Scootaloo get's hurt by the Beldam, then-"
"Spyro, behind you!" Applejack shouted.
Spyro turned around and saw the Beldam raising her her hand as her fingers were spread out, swiping at him, but Spyro's armor activated and covered his back, the metallic needles scrapping against the armor as Spyro picked Apple Bloom up and jumped away, landing a little further away before letting go of the filly.
"AJ, get the fillies and run!" Spyro shouted. "Get everyone out of here now!"
"Right." Applejack said, picking Apple Bloom up and running out of the room.
Spyro glarred at the Beldam as she started to chuckle, smiling as she raised her needle nails.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the boy you got away." The Beldam said. "You may have gotten away when you were a child, but you won't get away this time."
"I remember you Beldam." Spyro said. "Your movie gave me nightmares and opened a doorway to try and kidnap me, but it didn't work and now that I'm an adult, your power can't harm me."
"Maybe, but there are other ways to hurt a person." The Beldam said, smiling as she got ready to attack. "Such as your kids and your pregnant girlfriend. They'll make a nice meal for me."
Spyro growled in anger as his eyes turned to sith eyes, the armor glowing as the kinatic energy charged up as his body vibrated, adding to the energy already stored energy. Outside of the house, a Corridor into Darkness opened and from it, Demyx was walking out of the dark portal, wobbling a bit as he walked out, but from the darkness, Luxord walked out, who was a yellow earthpony with a blonde mane and three cards for a cutie mark and fell face first, groaning as he rubbed his head.
"Ugh, how does the prince walked like this?" Luxord asked, standing up and his legs wobbled. "This is going to take some getting used to."
"Come on everypony, we need to hurry!" Applejack shouted, she and Big Mac running out with Granny on his back and the two fillies on Applejack's back. "We gotta get to some place safe!"
"Applejack?" Demyx asked, the farm pony seeing him and Luxord as they ran.
"Demyx!" Applejack exclaimed, stopping to address him as she looked to Luxord, barely recognizing him. "Luxord? What are you two doin' here?"
"We came here to warn Spyro." Luxord replied. "The Pink Palace has returned."
"We know." Applejack said. "And the Beldam is here."
"It is!?" Demyx asked, clearly unnerved by what he heard. "Where is it then!?"
He got his answer when a part of the house was exploded outward as the Beldam was sent flying outward and landing hard on the ground and leaving a small crater in the ground, getting back up as Spyro levitated down with his wings spread out as he waved his hoof and the destroyed portion of the Farm house restored itself, Spyro growling as he called his Keyblade.
"I think you got your answer." Apple Bloom said.
"Not bad." The Beldam said, staning up with her head upside down, but she grabbed it and twisted it right side up, still grinning as she raised her hand. "You're definitely different than when you were a mere child, but even with your new power, you can't defeat me."
"Doesn't mean I won't try." Spyro replied. The Beldam then charged towards him and yelled in rage, swiping her claws at him, but thanks to his armor, the attacks did nothing to hurt him, blocking one attack as he used the Force to send her flying backwards, slamming into the nearby tree as he turned his hooves into claws, twisting and spinning his claw around to make the branches and roots wrap around her, the Beldam struggling to free itself as she was completely trapped. "Pathetic."
However, the branches then started to glow, which confused him until she sliced through the roots and branches with her claw like needle claws and charged him again, doing what she could to damage him, but the armor just absorbed the attacks, adding more kinetic energy that he then focused into his right arm and punched her, sending her flying backwards and into the ground, the ground turning into something like quicksand as she struggled to free herself, but ended up making herself sink faster before being completely buried alive, Spyro keeping an eye on the spot she was buried, but she erupted from the ground behind him, raising her claws as they glowed red, but he turned into water and flew behind her, avoiding the attack before calling his Keyblade again, swiping her back and making her shout in pain before she turned around and stapped clean through the armor, finding a few openings and making him gasp in pain as he grabbed her arm.
"Looks like your armor does have weak spots." The Beldam said. "As do you."
Spyro growled as he looked at her, the yellow and red eyes turning into Crimson eyes as he heated her arms up, making her yell in pain as she removed her claws from the openings, his body healing already as he flew into the air, raising his blade as the stars started to glow brightly.
"Shining Storm!" Spyro shouted.
The stars all twinkled in the sky and a moment later, they started to rain down, thousands of shining lights hitting the Beldam and making her scream in absolute pain as the light was piercing through her before an explosion kicked up a bunch of dust, making it difficult to see anything. As he levitated in the air, the Beldam screeched in rage as thousands of web like threads, shooting out at him, but his armor heated up and the thread burned away, the Beldam taking the chance to get behind him as her needle like claws glowed green, shooting at him and getting through the cracks of his armor, making her smile as they connected.
"Now you are in trouble." The Beldam said. "In this world, it seems I have access to all sorts of powers and one of which allows me to poison you."
"Heh, you might want to take a second look." Spyro said, turning to her as the needles fell out of his armor. "I can control poison and my healing abilities make me immune to poison combined with my ability to use poison, even if you somehow find a way to negate my healing abilities, I'll still be safe from your poison."
"Aere you kidding me!?" The Beldam shouted.
"Wow, he's full of surprises." Demyx said. "Guess he's got the luck on his side."
"It's not luck, but skill." Luxord said, playing with a card. "A true gambler doesn't go in without a trick or two up his sleeve."
The Beldam was growling in rage, glarring at Spyro as her buttons turned red, but then looked at Applejack and the Apple Family, seeing they were watching the fight, smiling as an idea came to mind.
"If I can't harm you, then I'll harm them!" The Beldam shouted.
A moment later, thousands of strands of thread shot out of her back and went straight for Applejack and the rest of the Apple Family, but the thread didn't reach them as walls of cards appeared, creating a barrier that blocked the attack and spun around while Luxord smiled.
"You know, it's not very nice to attack a pregnant lady." Luxord said.
"Seriously!?" The Beldam shouted.
"It seems my friends have my back." Spyro said, looking to Luxord. "Thanks for protecting them."
"Anytime." Luxord said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, THAT'S IT!" The Beldam shouted. "IF I CAN'T HAVE A FEAST, THEN I'LL MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T SURVIVE!"
A moment later, she opened her nouth and thousands of bug like dolls with razxor sharp pincers, mandibles, and even abdomens that spew acid, all screechign as they flew at them, which Luxord threw out more cards to block some of the insects, but those that can spew acid hit the cards and started to dissolve them, creating a clear path for the rest, but Demyx played his instrument as dozens of watery clones got in the way, mashing through the bugs, but some managed to get through, going straight for Applejack as she stood there in fear.
"AJ!" Spyro shouted. He then deactivated his armor and took his necklace off, throwing it at her as it spun around and connected to her neck, Spyro's armor appearing on Applejack and preventing her from getting hurt. "AJ, get out of here, run!"
However, as he said that, he felt something pierce through his chest, his eyes widening as he looked down and saw that the Beldam had pierced his chest with her needle like claws, blood going down his chest as she removed her nails, smiling as he felt his legs shake before collapsing.
"Predictable." The Beldam said.
"Spyro!" Applejack shouted.
She felt something snap inside of her as she was usually stubborn and quick to action, but this time something inside of her had completely broke, her eyes glowing green as she screamed out in rage, a shockwave that caused the earth itself to erupt and create thousands of spikes, shooting towards the Beldam and into her chest as she screamed in pain, falling to the ground as she writhed around in pain, Luxord and Demyx looking to Applejack in surprise.
"Yikes, remind me not to get on your bad side." Luxord said.
"Yeah, especially since you're pregnant and who knows what kind of crazy powers you'll get from your condition." Demyx said.
"Spyro, hang on!" Applejack shouted.
She gave the fillies to Granny Smith and ran towards Spyro, the Beldam growling as she got up and opened her mouth again, more bugs coming out as some flying bugs spewed acid, but the armor protected the pregnant mare, her eyes still glowing green as she jumped up and extended her forelegs, two glowing green balls and chains appearing out from her hooves as she spun around and slammed them into her, making the Beldam fly backwards into the orchard while the farm mare picked the injured Spyro up and rushed back to her family and friends, running away as the Beldam got up and growled at them.
"Well, that was unexpected." The Beldam said. "That was... dragonic magic? Waitg, does that mean...?" She then looked down at her arm and saw that it was beginning to rust, looking at her injury as saw dust poured out of her wounds. "Eugh, those attacks did more damage than I thought. I need to return to my world." She then looked up at the group, watching them run away as she hissed. "I'll deal with you later. Right now... I need to feed."
She then smiled and walked towards the house as she then turned into dust and flew back into the house, returning to her world. Back in the Other world, Coraline and Scootaloo both work up, both excited to be back home, but when they woke up and got up, they found they were still in the Other world, both looking at one another and wondering why they were still there.
"Coraline, why the heck are we still here?" Scootaloo asked. "I thought we would return to our worlds if we went to sleep."
"I thought so too." Coraline said. "We need to get out of here, quick."
"I hear you there." Scootaloo said.
They both got out of their beds and rushed out of the room, looking down the stairs and walking down to get to the living room where the door was, but as they got to the door, they found that the door was locked.
"Locked?" Coraline asked. "Ok, this is not good."
"Wish I had a keyblade right now." Scootaloo said.
"A what?" Coraline asked. They both then heard what sounded like music, but it was bland and without any kind of rhythm. "Do you hear that?"
"Yeah, kinda sounds like the Other Father's playing the piano again." Scootaloo said. "But it sounds... sad."
They walked to the room where he was playing and opened the door, seeing that he was playing it, but pressed random keys with no rhythm what so ever.
"Hey you, why are we still here!?" Coraline shouted. "Where is the other mother!? I want to go home!"
"Yeah, same here!" Scootaloo shouted.
"All will be swell after mother's refreshed." The Other Father said, turning to them. "Her strength is our strength." A second later, the hands popped out and covered his mouth, waving a finger to tell him not to say anymore, spinning him around to where he was facing the piano again. I mustn't talk when mother isn't around."
"If you won't help us then we'll go find the Other Wybie and Spyro." Coraline said.
"Yeah, they'll help us." Scootaloo said.
"Oh I don't think they will." The Other Father said, turning to them. "Other Mother skewered Other Spyro and Wybie pulled a long face..." He then used his fingers to pull his mouth down, shocking them both. "And Mother didn't like it."
The hands then closed his mouth and turned him back to the piano to keep him from doing anymore damage, but the damage was already done as both Coraline and Scootaloo ran out of there, heading straight into the fields of trees and plants to get out of there and try to find a way out, walking through the field and by a cart full of apples, looking for a way out.
"And where do you both think you're going?" The cat asked, walking next to them.
"Getting out of here, that's what." Scootaloo replied.
They continued to walk until they came to an area where it was all white, no color, no objects, nothing as far as the eye could see, confusing them.
"I din't get it." Coraline said. "In my world, this is where the old well was."
"There's nothing out here Coraline." The cat said. "This is the empty part of the world. She only made what would impress you both."
"But why?" Coraline asked. "Why does she want us?"
"Well the pony is easy." The Cat said. "She wants revenge against the one who locked this world away so she couldn't go to other worlds, so she thought that by bringing the pony here, she could trick her to staying and make him suffer. As for you, I think she want's something to love. Something that isn't her. Or maybe something to eat."
"Yeah, Spyro told me that." Scootaloo said as they continued to walk. "She takes the eyes and feeds off of the life force of children, which was why he sealed this place away in the first place."
They continued to walk and a moment later, they found themselves back at the Other Pink Palace, the rest of the world filling itself back in as Coraline looked around.
"But, this is impossible." Coraline said. "How can you walk away from something and return to it?"
"Magic." Scootaloo replied. They then heard something and looked to the bushes, the cat jumping into it and scared a circus mouse out of the bushes, the cat catching it as it blew it's horn. "Is that a circus mouse?"
"Wait, don't hurt it!" Coraline exclaimed.
However, the cat pierced his fangs into the mouse and it turned itno a large rat, shocking Coraline as she walked backwards, the cat spitting the rat out.
"I don't like rats, even in the best of times." The Cat said. "But this one I had to silence. It was sounding an alarm."
The cat then took the rat and ran to the tree, hopping in while Coraline and Scootaloo looked to the house, walking up and inside to get to the door where their only way out was, Coraline getting a cane to break the locks off, but Scootaloo tapped her hoof on the girls leg, making her look at the filly.
"I got this." Scootaloo said.
She reached her hoof out and closed her eyes, reaching out with the Force and unlocking the door, opening it and getting a look from Coraline.
"Couldn't you have done that earlier?" Coraline asked.
They then walked in and saw their way out, both smiling as they were ready to get out of there, but then a wardrobe sized bug got in front of it, the room lighting up to reveal everything was now bugs, furniture, lights, everything was bugs and on the couch was the Other Mother, smiling as she looked at them.
"They say we all have strong spirits, but even the strongest can be broken." The Other mother said, a couple of chair like bugs scooping them up and bringing them to a table where the Other Mother was. "Especially with love. And chocolates probably help too."
She then took out a box of chocolates, but they weren't chocolates at all, but a bunch of bugs, disgusting them both as they looked at the other mother.
"Yeah, pass." Scootaloo said.
"Oh come on, they're Cocoa Beetles." The toher mother said, picking one up. "They come from Zanzibar."
"She then picked one up and ate it, making them both almost vomit as they looked at the Other Mother.
"I want to be with my real mom and dad, now!" Coraline said.
"And I want to go back to Spyro!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "NOW!"
"is that anyway to talk to your mother?" The Other Mother said, not looking pleased.
"You're not our mother!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "I parents left me in an Orphanage to go exploring and Spyro took me in, made me his sister and showed me real love! Something you don't know about."
"Apologize, now." The other mother said.
"No." Coraline said. "Send us home, now!"
"To those parents who feed you garbage and to that dead lizard?" The Other Mother asked, Scootaloo paling as she heard that.
"Dead... what?" Scootaloo asked.
"I paid your brother a visit." The Other Mother said. "He put up a good fight, but he won't be getitng back up anytime soon. Or anytime at all for that matter." Scootaloo felt her heart stop, wondering what she did to Spyro and to her friends and family, feeling her rage come to the surface as her eyes turned to Sith eyes. "Now I'll give you to the count of three."
"What did you do to him?" Scootaloo asked, only sounding like a whisper to everyone.
"One." The other mother said, neither giving in.
"What did you do to him?" Scootaloo asked again, this time it was louder, but still quiet enough to where only Coraline noticed, looking to her as dark veins appeared.
"Two." The other mother said, growing furious as she got ready to say three. "Thr..."
She then stopped when she noticed that the lamp nearby was floating in the air, looking behind them as some of the insects started to float, making her get up and back away as Scootaloo raised her head to look at the other mother, dark veins coveirng her body as she stood up.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER!?" Scootaloo screamed.
A moment later, red light shooting out of her as they struck the bugs and vaporized them, turning them to dust as a couple of bolts hit the Other Mother and sent her flying backwards and into a wall, Scootaloo screaming while Coraline sought cover to not get hit. Scootaloo continued to scream as more lightning shot out, the room starting to collapse as planks were being pulled out, wallpaper being torn apart and bugs being pulled to pieces, the Other mother got up as another bolt hit her, making her drop her disguise momentarily but regained it, but she was taller and more like her original form, widening her mouth to send several needles at the filly, but she just raised her hoof and froze them in mid air, lightning hitting them as she turned them to hit the other mother, but before she could, she suddenly felt tired, collapsing to the ground as the needles dropped.
"Scootaloo." Coraline said, crawling over to her.
"That's it!" The Other mother shouted. She then grabbed Coraline by the nose and picked Scootaloo up by the throat, taking them upstairs and to a mirror where she tossed them both into it, phasing through the mirror and onto the ground of another room, Scootaloo still unconscious while Coraline looked to the Other mother. "You'll both be in here until you can both learn to be loving daughters."
She then phased back through the wall, leaving them both in the room whie Coralien tried to get through the wall, only for it to be solid again and making her bang against the wall, trying to get out. She then stopped, not wanting to waste energy as Scootaloo started to stir, Coraline looking to her and rushing over to prop her up.
"Scootaloo, you ok?" Coralien asked.
"Yeah, I... I think so." Coraline said, shivering. "I feel... cold. Where are we?"
"Some kind of room I think." Coraline replied. A second later, they both heard soemthing and looked around, trying to find out what it was. "Who's there?"
"Hush." A girls voice said, both looking to a nearby bed.
"And shush." A second girl's voice said.
"For the Beldam might be listening." A third voice said, this time it sounded like a boy.
Scootaloo got up and they both looked at one another, walking over to the bed where Coraline removed the sheet to reveal three ghost children, all three who seemed to be afraid of them as the sheet was removed.
"Who are you?" Coraline asked.
"We don't remember our names." The ghost boy said. "But I remember my true mommy. One who really loved me."
"But why are you all here?" Scootaloo asked.
"The Beldam." They all replied, the little ghost girl floating around them.
"She spied on our lives through the little dolls eyes." The little ghost girl said.
"And saw that we weren't happy." The boy ghost said.
"So she lured us away with treasures and treats." The big ghost girl said as all three flew around them both.
"With games to play..." The little ghost girl said.
"All we ever asked for." The boy ghost said.
"And still we wanted more." The little ghost girl said.
"So we let her sew the buttons into out eyes." The big ghost girl said, passing through Coraline as a couple of buttons were over her eyes, but then they disappeared, turning to look att he ghosts.
"She said she loved us." The Boy ghost said.
"But she locked us away in here..." The little ghost girl said.
"And ate up our lives." The three of them said, laying on the bed as the covers covered them.
Both Coraline and Scootaloo looked at one another, knowing they needed to get away.
"Well, she can't keep us locked up here." Coraline said. "Not if she wants our lives."
"But beating her is what we need to do." Scootaloo said, looking to the ghosts. "Is there a way to beat her?"
"There is." The little ghost girl said. "If you two do escape and do plan to fight the Beldam, if you can find our eyes, we can leave this horrible place."
"She took your eyes?" Coraline asked.
"She did." The Little ghost girl said. "And hidden them."
"If you can find them, our souls will be free." The ghost boy said.
"We'll try." Coraline said.
"Do or do not." Scootaloo said.
"What?" Coraline asked.
"Do or do not, there is no try." Scootaloo said. "It's something Spyro would say to me all the time."
A moment later, a pair of hands and hooves reached through the mirror and wall, pulling them out and surprising them, thinking it was the Beldam, bit it was the other Wybie and Spyro, both glad to see them, but Coraline immediately went into attack mode, tossing Wybie around before slamming him into a wall, pulling his mask off and revealing the Other Mother forced a smile on him.
"Wybie!?" Coralins asked.
"Shh." Other Spyro said, looking at the hall. "She'll hear you."
Coraline removed the thread and freed Other Wybie's mouth, the smile fading as he could finally express himself again.
"Is that better?" Coraline asked.
"Shh." Other Wybie said.
He then took her hand and ran down the hall and the stairs, Other Spyro picking Scootaloo up and taking her to the bug room, which the two kids threw the wardrobe down and made it crash, Other Spyro and Scootaloo flinching when it fell.
"Coraline, Scootaloo, is that you?" The Beldam asked.
"Come on, we need to go!" Coraline said.
"Yeah, you'll be safe with us in Equestria." Scootaloo said.
"We can't go." Other Spyro said, looking to Wybie as he removed his glove and blew on his hand, revealing he was nothign but saw dust to them. "If we leave this world, we'll die. At least here we can buy you time to escape."
"Coraline, Scootaloo, how dare you disobey your mother!" The Beldam shouted.
"Go now." Other Spyro said.
Other Wybie pushed them into the door, closing it as the Beldam got closer to them, both of them looked at the door as they then heard what sounded like a battle going on, knowing they needed to run.
"Come on!" Scootaloo said.
Scootaloo took the lead and Coraline followed right behind her, crawlign through the tunnel that was filled with trash and dirt, but they didn't care as they kept on running, reaching the door as it burst open and revealed Scootaloo's room, the filly breathing a sigh of relief as she got up.
"Where are we?" Coraline asked.
"My room at Sweet Apple Acres." Scootaloo replied, realizing she was talking to Coraline. "Wait, how are-"
She turned to look at Coraline and saw she was a cream colored Earth pony with a dark blue mane, still wearing the sweater, but she didn't have a cutie mark.
"Wow, this is... weird." Coraline said.
"Oh boy, Spyro is not going to be happy." Scootaloo said. "Wait, Spyro!"
Scootaloo then burst through the door and ran down the hall, Coraline stumbling after her as she tried to get on her hind legs, but fell, grumbling as she got on all fours and ran, stumbling more before reaching the ground floor, finally getting the hang of it as she saw her friend run around.
"What are you looking for?" Coraline asked.
"My brother!" Scootalo said, looking panicked. "She said he was dead, but Spyro is tough, he wouldn't go down that easily!"
"Scootaloo?" Apple Bloom asked, walking in and seeing her. "Scootaloo, yer back!"
"Apple Bloom!" Scootaloo said, hugging her. "Where's Spyro?"
"He's in the hospital." Apple Bloom replied, shocking the orange filly. "The Beldam did some damage to his heart and..." She then saw that Coraline was next to her, shocked to see her before looking to her friend. "Uh, who's she?"
But she didn't get an answer as Scootaloo immediately ran out the door and activated her light wings, flying towards the hospital with Apple Bloom and Coraline running after her, trying to keep up as the filly flew as fast as she could. Int he Hospital, Spyro was on a bed, still unconscious as the monitor was beeping, keeping track of his pulse while all of his friends were there, Pinkie's mane was deflated while Applejack and Rarity looked heart broken, Demyx and Luxord standing to Spyro's left as they kept an eye on him after what had happened.
"Spyro!" Scootaloo shouted, everyone looking to the door as she burst through, seeing her brother on the bed as her heart froze and she went pale. "Oh no."
"Scootaloo." Applejack said, the filly walking over to Spyro's side.
"How... how is he?" Scootaloo asked.
"Doctor said that he'll be fine." Twilight said. "But the Beldam did hit his heart, so he's gonna be out for a while." They then heard hoof steps and looked out the door, seeing Apple Bloom and Coraline at the door and was confused when she saw Coraline. "Uh, who's she?"
I'm Coraline." Coraline replied, walking in and seeing Spyro. "Did... did the Beldam really do that?"
"She did." Demyx said. "He threw his armor to Applejack to protect her, but ended up paying for it by getting stabbed in the chest. Dude saved his mare friend while disregarding his own safety."
"It's my fault." Scootaloo said, tears rolling down her face as she laid her head down on the bed. "If I hadn't watched that stupid movie, none of this would have happened."
"It's not yer fault Scootaloo." Apple Bloom said.
"Not entirely." Sweetie Belle said. "We all watched it. We're all to blame."
"Don't beat yourselves up about it." Spyro whispered, everyone looking to him seeing he was awake.
"Spyro!" They all said.
"Yer awake!" Applejack said, hugging him gently.
"Oh Spyro, I... I'm so sorry!" Scootaloo said, hugging his foreleg. "If we hadn't watched that movie..."
"Hey, don't blame yourself." Spyro said, smiling at her as she stopped hugging him. "You didn't know about the danger. I should have labeled it better." He then looked to Coraline, who looked a little nervous, but he smiled. "And you must be Coraline."
"I... I am." Coraline said.
"The Beldam will pay for this." Scootaloo said. "I'll make her pay for this."
"Hey, don't go down that road." Spyro said. "That is the path to the Dark Side. If you give into your anger and let it control you, then there is no going back."
"I... I'm sorry." Scootaloo said, looking to him. "I wanted to warn her about the Beldam so she could stay in her world."
"You had good intentions Scoots." Spyro said, taking her hoof into his. "You are a good pony."
"So how do we beat this Beldam thing!?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking angry. "I got a thing or two to say to her!"
"No Rainbow, you can't beat her." Spyro said. "She can't be destroyed. But yet, can be destroyed at the same time."
"But how?" Twilight asked.
"She needs the life force of children to survive." Spyro replied. "Without that life force, she'll whither and fade away." He then looke to Coraline and Scootaloo, smiling at them both. "You two, if you plan on going back, you need to speak with Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible. They'll help you find the childrens eyes."
"Childrens eyes?" Fluttershy asked.
"She steals the eyes of children to feed off of their souls even when they pass away." Spyro replied. "If the eyes are taken back and there isn't a child to feed on, she'll slowly die. Those two women will get you what you need to find the eyes." He then looked to Luxord and Demyx, which they both walked to him and stood next to his bed. "Luxord, Demyx, I need one of you to take Coraline back home so she can get what she needs from the two actresses."
"I'll take her." Demyx said, looking to Coraline.
A second later, a corridor opened and the young girl walked to him nervously, going into the corridor with Demyx following close behind and closing the corridor right behind them both, Spyro looking to Scootaloo and saw how sad she was.
"If you want to help her, then you need to let go." Spyro said, holding her hoof. "Don't hold onto your anger or resentment, for it will only make you an easy target. Promise me you won't give itno your anger."
"I... I promise." Scootaloo said.
Spyro then smiled and closed his eyes, resting to allow himself some time to heal while everyone else started to walk out, Scootaloo remaining behind, tears rolling down her eyes as she held her brothers hoof, wishing she was strong enough to fight the Beldam when something glowed in his jacket looking up t see something glowing white and red, so she reached in and pulled out both the Jedi and Sith holocrons, looking at them as she heard something talk to her.
(Bring Me To Life, by Evanescence)
A little while later, Coraline was back home and she saw that her parents weren't there, seeing a doll of them and fell to her knees, knowing the Beldam had them while with Scootaloo, she was back at her brothers garage after getting his lightsaber, kneeling down as she waited for something, opening her eyes as she got her brothers saber and activated it, using her muzzle to swing it while also jumping around, flipping and throwing the saber to make it spin before reaching out with the Force again, grabbing it with her hoof as several arms came down with blasters that were set for stun. The blasters then started firing and Scootaloo started deflecting the bolts to a helmet that she had set up, hitting the helmet over and over again while Coraline went to the two actresses, explaining what was going on and they took out a bowl of candy, Ms. Spinks getting some chop sticks and began hitting the candy, making a lot of pieces fly while also mixing them together to make a little eye piece to look through, giving it to Coraline as she looked through it.
With Scootaloo, several tagets popped out and began swinging, the young filly thrusting her hoof out and destroying some of the targets as pieces of wood went flying everywhere, lifting several crates and sending one after the other into targets and smashing them as targets shaped like the Other Mother and Father popped out, the young filly slicing through each of them as she fought before a target that looked like the Beldam came up, cutting it's head off. The filly was panting, looking at the destroyed targets before deactivating the saber, knowing she was ready for the fight ahead as she walked to the farm house, getting to her room, where th door was at.
(End of Bring Me To Life)
Scootaloo then opened the door and staretd to crawl through the tunnel where the door to the Other World was already open and waiting for her, crawling through and seeing that Coraline was already there and already confronting the other mother, aka, the Beldam.
"Scootaloo, there you are." The Beldam said as Scootaloo stood up. "Why did you both run away like that?"
"To get away from you." Scootaloo said.
"Where are my parents?" Coraline asked.
"Gosh, I have no idea where your old parents are Coraline." The Beldam said. "Perhaps they grew bored of you and ran away to France."
"Cut the act." Sctooaloo said, the Beldam looking to her. "We know your games at this point."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." The Other Mother said, the Other Father picking up Coraline and putting her in a seat.
The Beldam them walked to the door and clapped her hands as a rat came out with a key, taking it and closing the door before she locked it, swallowing the key.
"Why don't you have your own key?" Coraline asked.
"Only one key." The Other Father said, the Beldam pulling his hair to silence him.
"The Squash needs tending to dear." The Beldam said, pushing him out. As she pushed him out, Coraline got up and looked around, trying to find her parents, but didn;t find them, though she could hear them. "Breakfasy time!"
"How will we find the kids eyes?" Scootaloo asked. "It's not like the Beldam will let us look around willingly."
"We just need to outsmart her." Coraline said. "Challenge her to a game. We find the eyes and my parents and she let's us go free."
"You sure she'll even agree to the challenge?" Scootaloo asked.
"Only one way to find out." Coraline replied.
They both then walked into the kitchen where she was cooking breakfast, both Coraline and Scootaloo were staying clear, sitting farthest away from her as she cooked.
"So what's your plan?" Scootaloo whispered.
"Follow my lead." Coraline said, looking to the other mother. "So, how about we play a game. You do like games, don't you?"
"Everyone likes games." The Beldam said. "What kind of game are you thinking of?"
"An exploring game." Coraline replied as the Beldam poured some eggs into a frying pan. "A finding game.'
"Oh, and what exactly would you be finding?" The Beldam asked, tapping her fingers.
"My real parents." Coraline replied.
"Too easy." The Beldam said.
"And the eyes of the ghost kids." Scootaloo chimed in, which seemd to peak the Beldam's interest.
"Oh, interesting." The Beldam said, walking over with an omlette. "And if you both fail?"
"Then, I'll stay with you forever." Coraline said, looking to the box with buttons and the sewing thread. "And I'll let you sew buttong into my eyes."
"Coraline no!" Scootaloo exclaimed, which the Beldam seemed intrigued.
"Hmm, interesting." The Beldam said. "And if you both somehow manage to win the game?"
"Then you let us go." Coraline replied. "All of us. My parents, the Ghost children, everyone. And you never attack another world again."
The Beldam thought about it, walking around them as she pondered the best course of action before smiling.
"Deal." The Beldam said, taking the bait.
"Do we at least get a clue?" Scootaloo asked.
"Oh, right." The Beldam said, walking to them. "In each of three wonders I made just for the both of you, a ghosts eye is lost in plain sight."
"And my parents?" Coraline asked.
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." The Beldam said
"Fine, don't answer then." Coraline said, looking frustrated before sighing and looking to the Beldam. "It's a deal."
She then turned around to shake on it, but the Beldam was gone, leaving both Coraline and Scootaloo alone in the kitchen where the girl got up and went to the dripping sink.
"That was the dumbest thing you could do." Scootaloo said. "Agreeing to have buttons sewn into your eyes?"
"It was the only way to get her to agree to the game." Coraline said. "But what did she mean by three wonders?"
A moment later, there came a light from the window, Coraline moving the curtains away to look outside to the garden that still had her face in it, Scootaloo hopping up to look outside with her.
"Call me crazy, but I think the three wonders she's refering to is the Garden, the Theater, and the Circus." Scootaloo said. "Three places she made that she knew you'd like."
"That... actually makes sense." Coraline said. "Come on, let's go."
"Wait, hold on a second." Scootaloo said, stopping them. "How are you even going to find the eyes? I doubt the Beldam is just going to leave them in plain sight."
"That's where this comes in." Coraline said, pulling out an eye piece that was made by Mrs. Spinks. "Mrs. Spinks made this to help me see what I'm looking for. I'm more worried about my parents. They looked so cold when I saw them."
"Well, maybe these can help." Scootaloo said, pulling out the two Holocrons.
"Um, what are those?" Coraline asked.
"My brothers Holocrons." Scootaloo replied. "They hold a lot of information in them. And he once told me when they're brought together, they allow whoever uses them to see any secret, lost wisdom, whatever you want."
"That'll come in handy for finding my parents." Coraline said, looking outside. "Well, guess we'll start in the garden. Hopefully we'll find the eyes quickly."
"I hope you're right." Scootaloo said.
They then started making their way out of the kitchen heading for the front door so they can begin their little game to save Coraline's parents and to make sure the Beldam never attacked anybody or kidnapped another kid again.
