Chapter 721: The Glee Club Teacher…

(Royal Woods Middle School.)

We see within the Glee Club room is Mr. Budden and once again he has a slushie and he drinks it fast and gets another brain freeze. This guy is very strange. "Gotta make a mental note to never slurp it all fast."

Why the heck does he drink it fast every time?!

Just then the door opens and he sees Lincoln, Jordan, Clyde and Chloe. They don't seem to thrilled to see this man, but Mr. Budden speaks. "There you are Mr. Lead Role of the club. Now let's get this started and hear you're amazing singing voice…"

"No." Lincoln crosses his arms and looks sternly to the man. "I am not doing that. Also, someone is here to deal with whatever the heck is wrong with your head." They see Michelle Lewis walk in and she looks stern.

Michelle then speaks. "I don't know what the heck is wrong with you, but the choice you made is either dumb or just a you thing. I mean, why would you even have my son join this club that he isn't even part of? He didn't even want to be part of anything in this club."

Mr. Budden then makes his explanation. "The sole reason why is because he is a fantastic singer and same with his sister Luna and you as well, Ms. Lewis. He was meant for this club…"

"But I don't wanna join this club!" yelled Lincoln. "I made my choice and you totally ignored me and put me in it anyway. I have other clubs I have joined and I help lead the Music Club. Also, you didn't even give the other Glee Club members the chance to show you what they can do! You just chose me immediately and not let the others try out."

Mr. Budden then speaks. "Lincoln, my mind is already set and you are the lead singing role because you have that talent. That is final and nothing is gonna change my mind about…"

"Are you sure about that?" Principal Ramirez walks in and she looks miffed. "Michelle Lewis notified me of what was happening and for you to do that and not let the others try is just downright stupid and idiotic. Mr. Lewis made his choice and you wouldn't let the others show you what they can do."

"Heck, I have heard Clyde and he's an impressive lead singer for the role. I don't know what is happening in your brain Mr. Budden, but clearly all those ridiculous slushies have gone deeper than a brain freeze."

Mr. Budden didn't like the sound of this. "Well you see, I was just…"

"No. No more excuses from you" replied Principal Ramirez. "If Lincoln doesn't wanna be part of this then his choice is his, not yours and it also sounds like your playing too close to favorites and all because of Lincoln's sister and mother. You are literally landing a low blow on yourself to look like an even bigger idiot."

Lincoln then speaks. "If anyone should try out it should be Clyde. He's been doing his hardest and wanted to show what he can do, in fact." He shows them the video recorded if Clyde performing a high note and then Clyde does the same and it is amazing.

Principal Ramirez claps. "See? I even heard it when I was walking around the Park. Clyde is a natural and I can see that you think so too."

Mr. Budden thinks about this. "He is a good singer, though Lincoln is better and…" he sees the glares from everyone and Chloe records this.

Michelle crosses her arms. "Looks like someone is playing favorites. Kinda reminds us of back when the Loud Parents favored their talented daughters, or someone else who favored Luna for game and fortune… what was her name again?"

Lincoln and Jordan know who she means. "Katie Crest."

Mr. Budden didn't like the sound of this and he sighs. "Alright fine. Clyde is the lead role and Lincoln can leave and not be part of the club…"

"Still not done here" replied Principal Ramirez. "We are having a long talk about this in my office now!" Mr. Budden gulps and he's about to drink his slushie but Michelle knocks it away into the trash.

Chloe scoffs. "Sir. Lay off the slushies." They watch as Mr. Budden follows Principal Ramirez and Michelle Lewis to discuss this further about his stupid actions.

Clyde looks to Lincoln. "Thanks Lincoln. Now I can prove how good of a singer I am. I hope we could get someone else to lead the Glee Club."

"That is what I am hoping too" replied Lincoln. "Also, you earned that lead role. Mr. Budden is just a total idiot, yet I feel like those slushies he's been drinking might be causing him total brain damage."

The others chuckle hearing this and head off. Though Lincoln does message Luna that everything is now alright and Lincoln looks forward to seeing Clyde show off what he can truly do.

But he does think about this. Dang, first Clyde is a dang good junior superintendent, then he's a good baker and cook, now he's wicked awesome in the Glee Club? Clyde McBride, you gotta figure out what your future is.'
