The enchentress awakes…
Darknes…. Voices sourrounding her…. Again….. She knew them somehow…Then silence…
She awoke, strange … She felt like she had slept for days… She tried to sit, but failed…
She laid down again just jet to realize that someone was laing beside her…. She looked closely at the young woman and soon realised it was Elina.
Was she asleep or… death, the girl didn't move…. The Enchantress slowly moved her hand to touch Elina's pulse.
A sigh of relief , good the girl was alive. Extreamly weak but alive.
Suddenly the Enchantress noticed something strange, about the sleeping wingless fairy….Something strange and familiar…
AT THE SAME TIME IN THE MAINHALL OF THE PALACE…
The gurdians and their former apprentices waited impaitently for news.
While the gurdians hoped that the spell had worked, Elina's friends feared the worst for Elina. Bibble praid that Elina was fine, while the others started to fight about what they had just done.
„I know it was a difficult choice Sunbirst, but what else could we have done!", Linden yelled.
„How heartless are you Linden? We could have figured out another way to safe the Enchentress… It was a mistake…. You know I didn't like Elina as we met but then she saved my life. And now I thank her that be killing her? We need to do something…", Sunbirst almost cried, while the other apprentice's agreed.
„Even Faban is to worried to look into his mirror's!", said Glee and Dizzel noded.
However while they where fighting, their former teachers and gurdians had quite a different talk…
„Ruby how could you!", Azura gritted through her theeth and shook her head in disapointment.
„You ashured me you modified the spell… you promised that Elina wouldn't happen anything… that she wouldn't die…", Azura started to crie.
„You wouldn't have brought her here if I had told you! Besides it dosn't matter … We need to safe the Enchantress or Fairytopia dies! Do you understand that.", Ruby justified his actions.
„And Fairytopia dies if we don't have enough guardians!", Azura snapped.
„This is no problem, we allready have figured that out.", Amethyst said.
„What do you mean?", Topaz was surprised.
„Amyrill will take Elina's place when it comes to the worst.", Ruby explained.
„She allready passed trough all tests."
„How dare you taking an apprentice for Azura's position without her knowlege.", Topaz yelled a bit to loud, so that she unknowingly got the attention of Shimmer and Lumina. They descided to eardropp the conversation, while pretending to discuss with their friends.
„Ruby you are so heartless… I don't know if I wish to be assoziated with you in any way anamore.", Azura cried angry.
In her heart Azura knew that he was a good, kindhearted and honest person in general but altso that he could be heartless under extreme pressure. As first gurdian he had the responsebility to watch over Fairytopia and keep everything in oder, which led him to wrong decisions what he never would admit ofcourse.
„Calm down, the last thing we need is the kid's attention. We have enough problems to solve.", one of the other gurdians tried to calm them down.
„Remember the oath we once made the the royal faimily, allways to be loyal.", Ruby wispered into Azura's ear, as another gurdian who had apparently checked the condition of the Queen arrived and nodded, before telling them the condition of the two unconscious women.
Ruby then flew over to his former students and tried to calm them down so that he could tell them the news.
The other gurdians soon followed him, exept Azura since she decided to magically refresh her make-up so that no one could see that she had cried. However as soon as she finished, a green glimps in front of the window cought her eye… it was all to familiar… She qiuckly turned around and to be ashure that no one was watching her. Then she decided to quickly fly and investigate this fimiliar green hair.
In the mean time Ruby started talking: „I have news. The health condition of the enchantress is stabalized."
All students sight in relif.
„And Elina?", Glee asked.
„She is exausted… but fine.", Tourmaline lied.
All students where relived, all exept Lumina who quickly gathered the antention of the gurdians.
But smart as she was she smoothly flew over the the tabe and took one of the tiny fairy cackes, since she claimed to be starving. The gurdians seemed to belive her and stopped beeing suspicoius.
In the meantime Azura found the intruder, who tried to sneak away… Strange she had been sure that she saw Laverna's hair before but it was ….
„Max what are you doing here?", Azura wishpered fearing that some of the other gurdians might hear her.
„I want to talk to you about what happend 16 years ago and about the crime your gurdian friends commited!"
They had a short discussion, before Azura decided to follow him quickly. Again no one noticed Azura was missing, mainly because Emerald decided to give their former students a rather boring and long talk about the palace rules and how importent it was to never break them…
It was torture, but necescary…
Apparently the studants had to stay at the palace for the next few days.
Before Emerald finished her long boring talk, Azura quickly flew back to the window, as Max grabbed her hand.
„Please. Otherwise she dies.", he whispered.
„ I made the oath to protact the throne at all cost, I won't break it! I won't backstepp our Queen!", with that Azura freed herself and returned right in time to the other gurdians.
Luckily Emerald was so deep in her talk and everyone else fell almost fast asleep, so that Azura was sure that no one relised that she hadn't been there all the time.
„Thank you Emerald. How about we move on.", Azura put a quick end to Emerald, everyone was thankfull for that.
„Yes, Ruby unexpectedly started, one of the reason you will have to stay here in the next couple of days is that some of us gurdians will retire …", with that he took Azuras hand: „Azura and I are going to marry and we are expecting."
Azura gave him an angry glare, but fastly put on one of her nicesed smiles as her former studants came to congratulate them.
Shortly after Sapphire had looked after the Enchantress and left , she had awoken and was now starring down at Elina or rather her neck.
She now had notied something, that she never had noticsed before.
Elina had a birth mark like every fairy, but unklike every other fairy who had two wings, Elina just had one wing.
This couldn't be… It meant that Elina was….
The graditude the Enchentress felt torwards the young women next to her changed into pure terror.
The magic of the rainbow help the girl to recover fast, she couldn't let this happen… Never again…
So the Enchentress decided to do what was neccessary, she decided to absorb Elina's lifeforce.
After everyone had congratulted Azura and Ruby, all gurdians flew into another room, Lumina suddenly had a vision about a black orb. The vision was so strong that she almost fainted if Shimmer didn't hold her in time.
„What happened?", Glee asked in shock.
„Shell we alert the gurdians?", Linden suggested.
„No..", Shimmer interruped him. „ The gurdians are not telling us the whole truth…. Lumina and I we eardropped their conversation from earlyer… They are hiding something from us…", Shimmer explaind.
„…and it has something to do with a black orb… I saw it in my vision", Lumina continued.
„I know a yellow, green and even red orbs but I never heard about black ones.", Glee confessed.
„Maby it has a simbolical meaning…", Linden suggested.
„No… I saw litteral black orb… The thing must be somewhere in the palace.", Lumina insisted.
„But black orbs do not exist!", Sunbirst claimed.
„Ohhhrr they do exsist.", Faben sight.
„How do you know?", Shimmer asked.
„Well the black orb has a really bad reflection."
„Wait… you saw that orb?", Linden asked.
„Yeah… as we arrive…", Faban couldn't finish his sentence as Sunbirst pulled him behind her.
„You show me where this orb is… Now !",she yelled angry, while the others watched them leaveing.
Lumina considered following them as she suddenly had another Vision.
Just a few seconds before the enchantress had drained Elina's life out…. Something hit her and she lost consiounes.
But before the person left, the person used a crystal to cut it's wrist and dropped a bit of it's magic essence (not blood) over Elina so that she could survie. The person who did this left as fast as possible, knowing the consiquenzes of this action woudn't be good.
„Elina…", Lumina yelled, „we need to go to her fast. Something is wrong!"
The small groupe imidiatly went to Elina.
Unkown by them Topaz and Tourmaline had eardropped their whole conversation.
While Tourmaline imidiatly followed the teenagers, Topaz went to the other gurdians and told them everything. She ordered Emerald to get rid of the black orb imidiatly, while Amythist had to distract Sunbirst and Faban. Topaz even asked the other gurdians to hide specific objects, related to Fairytopia's past.
All gurdians left imidiatly to `straighten things out` …
Azura shight, maby they should tell their students about the orb, but then again… it would only lead them to more questions… And the other gurdians would do everything to prevent this, they couldn't let them konw the past…. The truth….
What would Fairytopia think if they found out about what actually happened between Laverna and her sister…
Linden, Shimmer, Lumina and Glee hurried as fast as they could, but as the friends and Tourmaline arrived, they all where stunned…
