After a war between the USSR and China involving biological warfare eliminates the majority of the human race, one survivor from the small town of Chaimberlain, Maine ventures out to search for other survivors, eventually making it to Los Angeles.
While resting in an abandoned clothing store, she awakens upon sensing people are nearby. She's soon beset upon by cloaked, pale skinned individuals who were mutated by a virus used in the China/Soviet war. The telekinetic soon makes a hasty retreat into the streets with the cloaked pursuers close behind.
