How's it going my guys, gals and non-binary pals? Glad it didn't take me over a year to update this story. TBH this was something to be on the back burner and a palate cleanser with my other MLP stories. How are y'all feeling the Royal Wedding story? Enough of that. Time for the reviews
Solon75: Hopefully you found a good one on rollback before tariffs killed the prices. Moondancer is going do everything in her power to antagonist Fleur De Lis in this story. This is a branching universe. Sour Sweet is fine with it especially they broke and need more times to reevalute their relationship. Those girls are going to have FUN messing with Dusk Shine. I haven't gave it much thought about lemons this AU. For 3-ways, I was thinking more about Dusk Shine, Sugarcoat and Sunny Flare since they're the fancy ones in their friend group.
Of course Dusk Shine pissed. Fleur was one of his primary bullies. The story will him and the Oranges is during a previous Pixie game and got both of them as his pixies. Dusk Shine has a few reasons why he's being polite. One it shows his character and two messing with someone's emotions like that is too messed up. Lightning Dust is the WTF character making you wonder who the hell does she function. She and her Indigo are cousins but Lightning is the cousin your parents told NOT to hang out with because they're a bad influence. She's going to end up in juvie, jail or early grave. Maybe I put her in the Trouble Teen Industry chapter but despite meeting the criteria, she gets cruising easy in CPA while others in the clinc. They will fight
Fleur De Lis will be crushing HARD on Dusk Shine but not without a consequence. Hope you had a good b-day. I'll probably do a voting poll for my other stories and one-shots. There's my Ben 10 one shot, Goblin Slayer which was one of the first stories I wanted to do years ago, a Naruto one and MLP smut series
The Pixie game reveal party was in full swing. Students danced, laughed, and enjoyed themselves as they should on this day of love. Cadance observed with a beam and cupid wings on her back. They needed this. She thought. The past few months have been hell for the students. Cinch, their parents, changes in economic status, betrayals, and misguided attempts to reform. All of that was in the past. It's time to party. They were dressed casually with some being in the holiday spirit wearing red, white, pink, and wings as well. Vinyl eased the music for Cadance to announce the reveals and their final gifts. Some were obvious. Others were quite surprising. Dusk Shine being Fleur De Lis's pixie was one of the biggest shocks of the night as he gave her another gift. The crowd cheered as she kissed him on the cheek. Cadance exhaled for Dusk Shine's pixie. Lightning Dust leaped for the chance, bumping Fleur De Lis out of the way with a lustful smirk. Dusk paled with a gulp. She's thankfully dressed appropriately. Lightning had a crop-style tank top, form-fitting leggings, and converse sneakers but that didn't ensure his safety. She passed him a small bag with her whole chest. Lightning said she won't stop until her throat memorizes the veins. Tempest and Aria gladly escorted Dust away and put her in a corner. Dusk checked the final gift. It's her underwear! THEY'RE MOIST! His mind raced on the possibilities with a shriek, shaking his hand off the imaginary germs. Were these an old pair? Lightning left a few minutes before the reveal. He paled grey. They were a fresh set?! Does that mean she's going commando right now?!
Cadance pressed forward until all proper reveals were done and signaled Vinyl. Vinyl raised her thumb and changed to an upbeat song. The party has truly begun.
Dusk Shine found a quiet place to recharge after a while. He exhaled, rubbing his hands. His nerves are stabilizing. It's weird. Dusk Shine never thought to be this socially active and having fun at CPA. Everything was new. He had good friends. The teachers and other students are decent. Mostly. He occasionally encountered some nonsense. Especially Lightning and any remaining students holding a grudge. Overall Dusk Shine felt like a normal student at CPA. He wondered how long it would last. Celestia warned him about a tree and gems in her dreams while he was hospitalized. The Dazzlings were the gems. Who's the tree? Garden Grove or did she mean an actual tree? So many questions. Dusk Shine opened one of his eyes and found Fleur De Lis. He's in a good mood tonight. She sat beside him wearing a rich smile on her pearl face. A brief chat emerged. Fleur thanked Dusk Shine for his gifts throughout the event. He waved the praise away. The two shared a few dances before Dusk Shine took a respite. She got closer then he got closer; their fingers touched. Face heated. Closer, closer, closer and closer. Their lips meet. Seconds passed until they departed with gleaming eyes.
"This doesn't change a thing," Dusk Shine declared. Cadance will never let him live this down.
"Shut up and keep kissing me you nerd," Fleur De Lis smirked, pulling him in by the collar, clashing their lips once more. She used her height to edge dominance, pressing her lips deeper and bosom onto him. Dusk Shine isn't easily deterred. She anticipated this. Fleur De Lis purred and tingled as his dexterous fingers and hands roamed on her body. She snaked her arms around the neck. Why was Dusk Shine so good at this? He used to have a girlfriend. Did Sweet Sour teach him? No. It's been years. Fleur De Lis beamed as his thumb glided across her cheek. Dusk Shine is phenomenal. Their breathing hiked, hearts racing when a tongue pressed against their lips.
"Oh sorry," They separated. As they didn't know who's tongue it was in their passion.
"Are you fine with it?" Fleur De Lis questioned. She's surprised knowing Dusk Shine was fine using tongue. Things got interesting.
"Yeah," Dusk Shine whispered huskily.
Fleur De Lis snickered heartily. "Fuck I didn't expect you to be so bold," Her heart eased. She needed a good laugh to lift her mood. Honestly, Fleur thought he was a prude making her take the lead. She wasn't against the idea. It excited her. Pushing Dusk Shine against the wall or sitting on his lap, capitalizing on her height and refined figure leaving him in a bedazzled stupor whispering 'Woah'.
"I technically died twice. You think I'm scared of this of all things," Dusk Shine deadpanned. He had a girlfriend. Fleur De Lis was too proper and uptight to have contracted something from a past encounter. It's a guarantee from both ends.
"Maybe," Fleur De Lis taunted. Dusk Shine lunged, grabbing Fleur De Lis by the waist and putting her against the wall. Her body is mostly legs. She yelped. The music drowned any concern. Fleur grinned and wrapped her legs around his torso, peering into his amethyst eyes. They resumed. Tasting, savoring each other's tongues with the aftertaste of the cherry punch and chocolates. Both anchored self-control for still being on school grounds. Time blurred for them. Discord came around the corner and jumped back behind the wall before the pair noticed him. He had one thing on his mind.
"I owe Cadance so much money," Discord panicked. His blood drained but not as much as his wallet after this. He left the two. Dusk Shine and Fleur De Lis returned and rejoined the party shortly after. Cadance hummed, counting the money in hand as Discord grumbled. The party relaxed. Dusk Shine shrugged, offering his hand to Fleur De Lis for a slow dance. She accepted it. Moondancer sneered from one of the walls, crushing a cup in her grip until the end. Cadance grabbed a microphone, thanked everyone for coming, and wished the students to arrive home safely. Several teachers and students cleaned up. Few gathered in groups, displaying what they got for H and bragged about their pixies in the rear parking lot. The evening air was crisp and mildly chilly only a few more weeks until spring. Fleur & Dusk Shine's met encouraging teasing gestures from their peers. He shoved Trender playfully. Her friends giggled. Dusk Shine gestured 'See you later' with a smile, hopped on his bike, and drove off. Cars arrived in droves as students took their seats. Fleur and some of her friends carpooled their way home with content smiles on their features. She made a decision this coming Monday.
It's Monday. Fleur De Lis practiced confessing to Dusk Shine for the entire weekend. Adagio and her friends critiqued and gave feedback. Everything relies on the subtlest detail. How she walked, talked, approached him, and the timing of her confession. Fleur De Lis didn't worry about her appearance. She's gorgeous. Both parties knew that. However, Fleur De Lis isn't arrogant enough to solely rely on her looks. She needs to show she's genuine. Her wrists and ears had the accessories he bought for her. Unease rumbled in Fleur's chest at a potential brutal rejection; a possibility she's prepared for. She shook her head. It's now or never and she lives in the present. Fleur De Lis found Dusk Shine and asked to speak in private. He agreed and followed. Fleur De Lis' face was rose red, keeping her distance as she confessed after issuing a quick apology for how she treated him over the years. She waited, rubbing her hands for his answer. He doesn't have to answer now as sudden confessions are a bizarre situation.
"Fleur De Lis," Dusk Shine started. Fleur's eyes widened as her heart skipped a few beats. "Are you shitting me right now? Where are the cameras?" He accused, glaring sharply at the surrounding areas. Who's with her? To think Fleur would stoop this low. A confession prank. Atrocious. The cliche of one of the most popular girls in school giving a fake confession to a nerd for a quick humiliation and laugh. However, Dusk Shine doesn't fit all the criteria. He fits the appearance and personality of a basic nerd on the surface. Dusk Shine had a girlfriend, friends outside of school, and interests beyond science and other intellectual activities. Her heart shattered at his accusation. Cameras?
"No Dusk Shine, please, I'm serious," Fleur De Lis pleaded, grabbing his hands with an odd tremble. Her chest clutched. Pulse accelerated. Did he think this was a sick joke? He sneered, breaking her smooth grip from him.
"Fleur, you actively made my life a living hell before I became the top student," Dusk Shine seethed at the absurdity of the moment. In what way Fleur thought this was going to work? "You had no reason for that. If you think one little confession after one kiss is going to erase or absolve years of pain. You're out of your mind," He muttered. His low voice echoed into the void of apathetic wrath. Yelling would be easy. He's tired. Tired of all the yelling and anger. Dusk Shine predicted this situation; people confess to him as a ploy to achieve a hidden agenda after the games. Schola Perfecta. Brother-in-law to the principal. Younger brother to the Police Force captain. Everyone wants to be your friend when you're on the throne despite trying to topple your reign. Dusk Shine thought of the possible authenticity. It revolted him.
This wasn't a coming-of-age slice-of-life story where a random love confession can make all the horrible actions forgivable. Hurt them because you like them? Bullshit! The scars layered too deep for Dusk Shine to consider Fleur De Lis a romantic partner. His ascension to Schola Perfecta sparked his isolation. Students project their frustration from their inconsiderate parents onto him. What's her reason? Nothing.
"Dusk Shine I-"Fleur De Lis stammered. Her feelings for him were sudden but they were real.
"I don't want to hear it because I don't believe you. This conversation never happened. Bye," Dusk Shine rejected, shaking his head and left. Fleur De Lis sagged her head and shoulders and turned the other way.
Moondancer covered her mouth to halt the tide of boisterous laughter as her body shook. Seeing Dusk Shine reject Fleur De Lis has to be one of the greatest things she's ever witnessed in her entire life. She'll ride this high until she dies. Fleur's face was priceless. Moondancer delighted in Fleur's humbling after walking around like a crown jewel for years. She snickered. Dusk Shine must've been the first guy who rejected her. Moondancer wondered if Fleur cried. A smile widened. She wants to see this and followed Fleur
Fleur De Lis returned, dejected. Her friends sprung up and crowded her."So what happened?" One of them asked. Are they going to be the hottest couple in CPA or not?
"He said no," Fleur De Lis revealed as her friends groaned, hoping they would be friends at the minimum. "I knew it was going to happen but fuck," She admitted, sliding her back against a locker, sat down, and gazed blankly at the ceiling. Was this how others felt when she rejected them? The empty throbbing in their chest. It hurt. Tremendously. Fleur didn't know which hurt more. The rejection itself or Dusk Shine believing it was all a prank. Was she that bad? A tear slipped.
"Not if I have anything to say about it," Garden Grove snarled, stomping her feet to confront Dusk Shine. Dusk Shine returned with Garden Grove, dragging her back the collar with her arms folded and face bruised a few seconds later.
"I believe this is yours," He dropped her like a laundry bag. His eyes surveyed the girls for any opposition and found nothing. Dusk Shine left them hoping this was the end of it.
"Grove, you tried to fight Dusk Shine of all people," Cold Forecast deadpanned. "Are you dumb or stupid?" She had to ask. They've seen him fight several times and win. Dusk Shine fights fights. He can and will put someone on a hospital bed.
"No comment," Garden grumbled with a stinging face. He smacked her with a fucking textbook knocking the taste out of her mouth after she slapped him. Did he really have to hit her so hard? A scathing laugh caught their attention. Moondancer was near the lockers' edge barely holding her laughter and stomach.
"I have a few comments," She mocked. "Aw, poor whittle Fleur De Lis got rejected. Boo hoo," Moondancer jeered in a baby voice, weeping imaginary tears from her eyes before chortling nastily.
"Oh piss off Moondancer!" One of them exclaimed. Moondancer must've watched Fleur De Lis get rejected and wanted to pour lemon juice into the wound. She swaggered, unable to control the relish of schadenfreude from curving her lips upwards, warming her body. Moondancer couldn't believe she watched Fleur De Lis get brutally rejected. First, it was her last date. Now it's Dusk Shine?! Oh, this can't get any better. Wait, it can. Moondancer only has a short time before her next class, but she is going to make the most of it.
"Did he reject you too?"
"Yes but that's because we weren't close enough for him to see me that way," Moondancer smirked, masking the pain for the end in the cafeteria. The sorrow in Fleur's eyes fueled like a fresh spring river. "You. Were just a bitch," She emphasized, desiring nothing more to get right in her smug face. Tears leaked from Fleur's eyes. "What again cry like you're the victim? You can't be fucking serious Fleur De Lis. And I thought you were of stronger pride. Guess not," Moomancer mocked with a shrug and a hand over her mouth to mask shock. "Then again what do we expect from someone who men will only ask how much for an hour," Garden Grove sprang to her feet. Frosty Orange gritted her teeth and tightened her fist but was restrained by Sherbet. Forecast, Diwata, and Melon shot glares at Moondancer when the bell rang. "Bye-bye," Moondancer smirked, turning away with a lively spring in her step.
"What a bitch," Garden sneered. Frosty and Melon picked up Fleur De Lis for Mrs. Shade's class. They better not have a pop quiz.
Damn Fleur De Lis got rejected HARD! Moondancer enjoyed it. How will Dusk Shine and Fleur De Lis proceed with this new development?
