Authors note : There is no level of guarantee with IVF. And there are various cases where it doesn't work. And Brooke didn't want to put herself and the relationship through that.
(Thank you!) Brooke exclaimed. Hugging Alex tightly.
(You have no idea how we've been wanting this. We're going to support you these next three months. Be there on the day of delivery.) Lucas proclaimed.
(And of course pay for all you're expenses.) Brooke added in.
(Is the father apart of this?) Lucas asked.
(Not at all. It was a one night stand. I forgot to take my birth control. I was flying around different areas for movie shoots.)
(I was not trying or wanting to be pregnant. I never knew I was so fertile.) Alex replied.
(Get in touch with me. Once you book you're next appointment.) Brooke said. As she handed off her business card with her contact information.
Alex nodded her head in agreement. The three of them made small talk ate. Before eventually going their separate ways.
Brooke entered their home. Beaming.
Lucas wrapped her in his arms. Kissing her softly.
(You're so happy. I'm relieved. Grateful that this year long journey is months away from being over.) Lucas proclaimed.
(I knew this meet up would be different. She said so herself. She's not ready or wanting to be a mom. Her career and traveling is her focus.)
(We're ready. We picked out the room for the nursery.)
(We have it painted. Orange. Yellow. Green.)
(Now I can order furniture. Buy baby clothes. Toys. And anything else.)
(We're going to be parents.) Brooke said. Tears welling up in her eyes.
As she kissed him then made her way upstairs.
At 25. I had my growing career. The best wife. And in a short few months. We would have a baby.) Lucas thought to himself.
