Weeks later
The couple shared their news about the birth mother and that she had chosen them as the adoptive parents. It was all so exciting nerve wracking.
But really this whole situation had brought the couple closer and more in love than either expected.
(We are running out of room in the nursery. ) Lucas commented.
(We are and I'll stop buying things honestly.)
(I just never expected to feel so much.)
(I love you and us carving out time for each other is so important.)
(In the near future we'll have an innocent baby needing our time and attention.) Brooke said.
Lucas kissed her hard. Removing the sheet from her bare body.
(I love you even more than I thought possible.) Lucas replied.
As he started to kiss her neck.
Brooke smiled her hands going to his back.
She sighed deeply. As he captured her lips.
She wrapped her legs around his waist.
Her moans filled his ears. As he entered her.
(Lucas!) Brooke exclaimed. Her fingers started to dig into his back.
He ran his fingers through her hair. Plunging himself slowly further within her.
Their bodies desperate for relief. Brooke took control.
Wanting him and needing him. Craving his touch. His kisses. His whispered words.
Being the newlyweds they were. They couldn't keep their hands off each other.
They made love in various areas of the home. And it was better that no one knew.

Later on that day
(We couldn't find a parking spot. We would of been here already.) Lucas explained.
(Did we miss anything?) Brooke asked.
As the couple got settled in the exam room.
(Welcome Mr. And Mrs. Scott.) The OB said with a smile.
(Don't worry. You're just in time. We're looking at the baby now.) Alex replied.
(I was just telling Alex. The baby is looking healthy and strong.)
(Braxton Hicks are going to happen. She's 30 weeks. Will be giving birth in two months.) The OB informed the couple.
(The kid moves around so much. Kicking punching.)
(Tiny dance machine.) Alex said with a smile.
(I think finding out the gender at birth will make this so much more fun.) Alex added in.
When the appointment eventually ended Alex gave Brooke and Lucas a copy of the ultrasound.
(This is the first time having this baby felt real to me.) Alex admitted.
(We will never be able to thank you enough. This baby will be making us parents. A dream come true .) Brooke said.
Lucas looked to Alex. Saw the way she was cradling that sonogram.
Before the couple left.
(We need to think of a list of baby boy and girl names.) Brooke announced once they got back to the car.

Brooke shut herself into our bedroom writing out a list of baby names.
Lucas had a bad feeling. This appointment. He could see something change in Alex.
He had never been more glad that Peyton was back in LA.
