Paw Patrol: The Pup Guard's First Mission

The new Lookout for the Prehistoric Patrol was finally complete, and both teams were eager to celebrate. "Now that we're all settled in," Ryder said, "how about we hear about some of your adventures, Prehistoric Patrol?"

"Me like stories!" Terra exclaimed. "Especially stories of when we were called…The Pup Guard!"

"The Pup Guard?" Chase asked curiously.

"That's right," Rider explained. "Before we were the Prehistoric Patrol, we were the Pup Guard. Let me tell you about our very first mission…"

(Flashback)

The sun beat down on the prehistoric landscape. Soar, circling high above what would one day be known as Walrus Island, spotted trouble.

"Rider! Person in danger from mammoth!" Soar called down. He couldn't tell who it was, but someone was definitely in trouble.

Rider whistled, and the six pups – Terra, Gard, Kura, Wave, Soar, and Heat – gathered around him.

"Pup Guard, ready for orders, boy Rider!" Terra declared.

"Someone is running from a mammoth," Rider explained. "Terra, I need your strength to stop the mammoth. Soar, keep a lookout from above. The rest of you, stand by until we need you."

"Terra is ready to move boulders!" Terra announced.

"Soar is ready to rise!" Soar added.

"Pup Guard, let's go!" Rider commanded.

Rider and Terra raced towards the scene, while Soar ascended to a high vantage point. They arrived to find a familiar figure – ancient ancestor of Mayor Huminger called Humbanger– along with several saber-toothed kittens, fleeing from a herd of stampeding mammoths!

"Pup Guard, go!" Rider shouted.

Terra, without hesitation, charged towards the lead mammoth. She lowered her head and rammed into the mammoth's knees, bringing the massive beast crashing to the ground. The rest of the herd, startled by their fallen leader, came to a halt.

Rider scooped up Humbanger and the kittens, carrying them to safety.

"No! Me had it under control!" Humbanger protested, though he looked visibly shaken.

"Sure you did," Rider said dryly.

"Thank you…anyway," Humbanger mumbled.

"You're welcome, Humbanger," Rider replied.

(Back to the present)

"And that was our very first mission as the Pup Guard," Terra concluded. "Many more followed, each one just as exciting."

"Wow," Chase said, impressed. "That was quite a first mission!"

"And you've been helping Humdinger's ancestor ever since?" Skye asked.

"Well…" Rider chuckled. "Let's just say he's always been a bit of a handful."

"We're looking forward to hearing about your other adventures," Ryder said. "Maybe you can tell us another one tomorrow?"

"Me like that idea!" Terra agreed.

"Aw!" the Paw Patrol pups whined.
