"Okay okay Rebekah I know that you miss me not Hope. We will be joining you tomorrow in The Carnival of Venice." said Klaus to Rebekah after her continuous pestering to join her in Venice because she was getting low on motivation to search for a way to bring Kol back from the dead and wanted to enjoy the Carnival with her niece.

In New Orleans, Klaus pondered his trip to Venice, hoping to find a way to break the curse he had placed on Hayley to save her and her pack. He knew it was a harsh decision, but Klaus Mikaelson had never been known for his gentleness—except for a certain someone in Mystic Falls, but he tried not to think about that.

Hope's babbling brought him out of his daydream. He smiled down at his daughter and said, "Is my princess ready to go meet Aunt Bex? Are you excited, baby?" Hope cooed back at her father, making him smile even more, thinking about his adorable child.

The next day, Klaus and Hope arrived in Venice by private jet. When they reached their property, Rebekah was there to greet them, excitement shining in her eyes.

"So how's the search going on to bring back our dear Kol?" asked Klaus, as they lazily lounged in the living room with Hope playing on the ground with her toys.

"Well I found a few ways but came to a dead end at the last step. I hope I might find something here. So how's everything going in New Orleans?"

"Well everything is as well as it can be in New Orleans. Elijah is searching for a way to break Hayley's curse. Marcel is controlling his vampire. Witches are, as usual, being witches. Freya is trying to live a normal human life which is impossible in New Orleans And I am enjoying my life with my cute little daughter" replied Klaus.

"Okay, so nothing new is happening there. So for how many days are you planning to stay here?"

"Well, I am thinking we will enjoy the carnival for two and planning to visit the witches' side of the city out of curiosity then after we will head back to our home." Klaus explained.

"Okay Nik then see you tomorrow. Good night. Bye bye Hope" Rebecca said cutely to her niece then went to her room, as her human body requires rest.

Next day after enjoying the Carnival as they were having their lunch in a restaurant Klaus' nose caught a familiar scent. At first, he thought he was imagining things. How could she possibly be here? But then, through his private booth, he saw that unmistakable shiny blonde hair. She was here.

When he saw her heading to the ladies' room then he turned to Rebecca "Rebecca watch Hope for a few minutes. I will be back."

"Does this have something to do with the blonde-haired girl?" she asked, to which Klaus just smirked.

Klaus reached the ladies' room just in time. When she arrived there he surprised her with his adoring dimples saying his trademarks like which he has reserved only for her "Hello love"

Caroline was initially shocked, but then she composed herself, smiling. "Klaus. How are you? How's fatherhood treating you?"

"Well, I am good. How is Mystic Falls treating you? As for being a father, life has never been better since Hope came into my life. I didn't know that you were aware of Hope's existence." Klaus replied.

"Hope, that's such a nice name. Tyler told me about your child after he knew about us. So how is she?"

"Hope is fine. She is here with me and Rebecca. Would you like to meet her?" Klaus asked, carefully not bringing up what Tyler tried to do in New Orleans and noticing that she deflected her question.

"Yes. Of course. Just let me text Bonnie that I will be a bit late."

After freshening up, Caroline and Klaus returned to the booth. Rebekah and Caroline exchanged pleasantries, and then Klaus proudly took Hope out of her stroller. "Love, this is Hope Andrea Mikaelson, my daughter," he introduced her.

"Oh my god. Klaus she is so cute. Can I hold her?"

"Yes. Here hold her."

"She is just perfect, Klaus. Okay now I gotta Bonnie is waiting for me."

"Okay, love. How many days are you staying here?"

"Just for 2-3 more days."

"So, why don't you and your friend join us for dinner? What do you say, Bekah?"

"Yes, Caroline join us it will be nice to share rekindle and catch up." Rebekah said with a smile

"It sounds lovely. But Ric is also here with us and you how he is and we don't want to leave him. I will text you after checking with Bonnie and Ric."

"Perfect. Until then, take care," Klaus said, watching her leave.

"Bye Klaus, bye Rebekah, bye Hope," Caroline waved as she walked away, feeling a mixture of excitement and nostalgia.

"Well, that went well" said Rebekah. Klaus just smiled in response, his mind already racing with thoughts of what the evening might bring.

"Bonnie you won't believe whom I met here" Caroline said as she slid into her seat. Bonnie asked sarcastically "Which actor did you meet here?"

Caroline made a face then replied "Not any actor. But Klaus Mikealson." which spiked Bonnie's interest.

"What is he doing here? Is he following you?"

"What no, I don't think so. I think he is here with her daughter to see the carnival. Also Rebekah is here. They asked us to join them for dinner. What do you say?"

"Oh yeah her daughter, I also heard about her. Let me think about dinner. Also we need to ask Ric. Which reminds me, Ric texted me that he has reached the hotel and will meet us there."

"Okay then let's get back. We are tired from the day's events."

When they reached the hotel, they rested for 2-3 hours. When they asked Ric about dinner plans, he said he doesn't want to go anywhere. If they wanted, they could go and have dinner with the Mikealsons. Since Bonnie wanted to meet miracle child and Rebekah, she agreed to the plan

Caroline : I and Bonnie are coming to dinner. Ric declined. What is the venue?

Klaus : Okay I will inform Bekah. Why don't you join us at Ristorante Quadri? I will send a car to pick both of you.

Caroline : See you then in the evening.
