A calm, summer night with a breeze greeted the New York skyline. It made you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, take time to appreciate the little things….
SCREECH!
"KEEP ON 'EM, ROCK!"
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, BOP!"
A shame New York City was never calm.
Revenge was on the mind of the humanoid Rhino and warthog this day; they'd escaped the Kraang attack a few months ago and been slowly recovering, waiting for the right moment to strike. And after all the craziness with the Snap, the return and Jack? They decided this was enough.
The rhino leapt out of their car, ready to strike, only to be hit by a green truck, from which emegered four familiar figures.
The warthog ignored them and kept after the car they'd been chasing, only to be stopped when a robotoic T-Rex suddenly blocked his way.
"Not exactly fair." Jason noted.
"Or manly." Kirishima noted.
"Buit interesting!" Tommy beamed as she leapt out of her Zord and kicked the warthog away., where he was wrapped up by webbing.
"HEY PUMBA! YOU SHOULD PRACTICE 'HAKUA MATATATA!"
Bebop was sent flying back by a red and blue blur, which distracted him long enough to slip on some suddenly appearing ice.
"Oh, you think your cute?!" he growled at spiderman, rushing him to charge, only to be leapt over. "Why're you even here?!"
"Well, my fans think so." Spidey smirked. "And come on; two mutants chasing down a car? Can't exactly ignore that."
Trini held her teeth at that from the Sabertooth Zord.
"Ooooh, jelly of the fanclub?" Mina cooed teasingly, themn frowned. "Cause I can relate."
That did make Trini feel better.

From inside their car, the two adults were confused but elated, the man slipping on a hockey mask.
"Casey, wait!" The woman cried out to no avail as he leapt outwards. "Urgh…Why did I fall for such a hothead?"
"I ask myself that question all the time, ribbit."
The woman turned to see a teenage girl in a green costuime, sort of a mix of a Power Ranger and an old time serial superhero; competle with cape and a helmet that looked like a domino mask.
"That's my girl over there. The one in the costume like mine" The newcomer pointed to two Yellow rangers brandishing swords as they kept Rocksteady back, the 'hero' one even managing to draw bit of blood from him.
"Leave him to me!" A red ranger in the same costume called out, his costume suddenly turning more rigid and sharp. "RED RANGER RIOT UNLEASHED!"
Rocksteady and the boy met head on, a shockwave coming from the impact and neither refusing to move. This took Rocksteady for a spin, but it also bought Kirishima time for the Turtles to appear.
"Thanks for slowing them down!" Leo called out. "Help your friends!"
With a nod, Kirishima undid his Quirk and raced to follow that order just as Izuku, in his blue ranger form delivered a kick to Rocksteady's chin that sent him reeling
"Whew…" Raph smirked. "That kid can toss!"
Bewildered, Rocksteady barely had time to realize he was being webbed before he tore said webbing off
"Yeesh!" Spidey noted as he avoided swipes and horn stabbing attempts, backed up by Kimberly's shots. "You are the ugliest Rhino I've ever fought. I know that only makes two, but still."
"Wait, when did you fight another rhino supervillain?" Jason asked.
"Last week." Spider-man said. "Although he was more…Whiplash in a rhino mech suit."
Suddenly, four newcomers entered the fray, each taking on one of the main time Rangers:
Jason found himself fighting an incredible flexible and fast ninja in an all red uniform while Trini barely avoided powerful blows from a ninja in all yellow.
Zack's hip-hop akido and axe was deflected with a masterful blend of swordsmanship and karate by someone in an all black ninja attire and finally, Tommy found herself fighting the new pink ranger whose hands seemed to..glow? She then fired the light, which started turning whatever it touched into random flowers, toys and…cat nip?
"She has magic?!" Tommy gasped. "…cool!"
The others moved to help the others, only for ninjas to appear. The Turtles took the first move, but some of the Foot reached the younger rangers…only be deflected easily, either by burning acid, a fdrog tongue, fire and ice or pure martial arts.
Casey had been whacking around anyone he could find, only to be suddenly hit in the back by a yioung woman in bladed Samurai armor.
"Karai. Been a while." Casey mused.
"It's Shredder. And as much as it would do me good to rid myself of you and O'Niel? I have other matters. Saru! Kuma! Neko! Gama!" Karai called out. The four abandoned their fights and threw flash bombs onto the ground, blinding everyone long enough to escape….with Bebop and Rocksteady in tow.

"Well, so much for historical accuracy." Tsuyu sighed once everyone caught their breath and powered down.
"Tsu, it was a cartoon for kids." The yellow one tried to cheer her up.
"That and or the producers were scaredy cat racists towards mutants." The pink one grumbled, her green comrade nodding in agreement and high fiving her.
"Don't beat yourselves up." Leo said. "You kids all did well….Altough I can tell your new to this."
"Yeah, barely been full on rangers for six months." Himiko sighed.
"Been a long while, eh?" Mikey smiled to Peter.
"I know, feels like years but it's been…what, months?"
"You're a little way away from your neighborhood, Spidey." The Hocky mask wearing man said with a growl in his voice.
"Casey, calm down."
"April's right, Case." Raph said. "they're all cool. Well…minus the newbies…and what's with the green newbie?"
Tsuyu seemed to be in the middle of having a panic attack and stumbling over her words.
"Okay, long story short." Kirishima said. "We're from the future. You're legends there and she's one of your biggest fans."
The turtles liked that idea.
"Oh, oh! Many PhDs and or Nobel prizes have I won?"
"In life or posthumously?" Shoto asked. "Because…you had a few 'Marconis', if you know what I mean."
"…Huh?" Zack asked.
"Basically, Donnie DID create or discover something but someone else did around the same time and got credit for it and it wasn't until after death history was corrected.'" Billy, Peter and Izuku said together.
Everyone else looked at the trio as if they'd grown other heads by how in sync they were. Well, aside from Trini and Mina, who giggled.
"You are such a nerd, sweetie." They said to Peter and Izuku respectively, the two boys laughing shyly.
"…Lucky them." Billy and Mikey sighed together.
"…I can live with and see that." Donnie smiled. "But I'd still like some numbers, please."
"About…" Izuku paused to reflect. "Ten patents in life, thirty in postmortem. 40 PhDs all around and….six Nobel Prizes, three of which were Peace prizes. Oh, and one Hugo award."
Donnie smiled at those numbers as Mikey was looking at his brothers with great big, almost anime like eyes…which was odd, considering the hero rangers WERE living anime character.
"Alroight, go for it.:" Leo sighned as Mikey began hi s introductions.
"Donatello over there in the purple, he's a technical genius who is, technically, a genius!"
"…Work on a better intro, please." Donnie begged.
"Raphael over there in the red, he's like a big, cuddly teddy bear... if big cuddly teddy bears were incredibly violent."
Raph growled at that and then the new Red ranger and the yellow one, who he could SWEAR was fighting the urge to ask him for a spar.
"This is Leonardo, he's in the blue, fearless leader, silent, but deadly, hah!"
Leo simply nodded, but for some reason found himself focusing on the other blue ranger.
"And of course, I'm Michelangelo, sporting my signature orange!" Mikey smiled. "I'm a triple threat, brains, brawn, and obviously a dazzling personality! Ladies like to call me Mikey!
"Done?" Leo asked.
"Almost!" Mikey beamed. "The non-lethal Jason Voorhees is Casey Jones, former cop turned badass vigilante and the lovely April O'Niel is our closest friend and inside source to what's going down in the city."
"Wait, you're an actual reporter?"
"Yeah?" April asked, confused.
"…Girl, you are way to pretty for a reporter." Kimberly said
"What OG pink said." Mina followed.
"…Why do people keep saying that?" April asked. "Wait, the green one said 'so much for Historical accuracy'…how does…?"
Tsuyu produced a picture from the show that she and her friends had grown up with.
"…huh. Maybe I should give red hair a try." April mused.
"…This really a big deal, huh?" Zack asked.
"The future's not perfect." Billy guessed.
"Nope!" Izuku and Kirishima said together.
"You'd think that with Sentinels, the Friends of Humanity and Quarrymen all a mockery to the point its encouraged to make fun of them, never mind the fact superpowers are near universal, we'd have figured out how to get along." Shoto mused.
"Quick side, how…encouraged is that mockery?" Leo asked.
"To the level of Nazis, non-vaccinator and flat earth atheists." Himiko said.
"As thralling as this, and really, this would make a great story," April cut in. "What exactly are Power Rangers doing in New York?"
"We need the Turtles' and any other help we can get to find the future next Hitler, basically." Spiderman explained.
"Mixed with Sylar from Heroes." Billy added.
April and Casey gasped at that, and Casey motioned for them to wait as eh made a call.
"Hey Matt. It's me. Yeah, I…I need your help. Oh really? Danny, Jess and Luke are there too? Yeah. Yeah. We can be there in…20? Okay. Also, be prepared, we're bringing company. Wait, what? Y-yeah I know where…What? Send the kids there? Oh, okay…Okay."
Ending the call.
"Guys, come with me and April. Future kids? You know where Xaiver's school for Gifted Youth is?"
SPIDER
"Here's the deal." Karai growled at the two mutants at an unassuming warehouse. "You two serve me, I keep you safe and away from Trask and Creed. You screw up? I'll mount your heads on my wall; and let Stockman play with your DNA."
Bebop and Rocksteady had little choice. Being mutants didn't leave much employment options and this way, they could train.
Karai then turned to the four ninjas, smiling at them.
"Excellent work." She then opened up a briefcase filled with cash. "Help yourselves."
The ninjas took their masks off, revealing themselves:
Aisha Campbell, aka Kuma, was an African American girl with braided hair.
"This alone will pay off the house and put some cash in the savings!"
Adam Park, aka Gama was a dark haried but princely boy, calmer in his taking of money, as if already planning what to do with it. His concentration was broken when found a few wads stuffed into his arms.
"Rocky, what the…?"
"You and your sis need it more." Rocky Desantos, aka Saru, waved off to his best friend. Rocky was a tanned and brownish blonde boy who still took a few wads. "I'll be eating just fine until next job."
"Many thanks, Karai-sensei."
Finally, Karai's favored student; Kat, aka Neko. A blonde young woman from England who'd quickly risen through the ranks. She may have been a mutant, but to Karai, all that mattered were results and loyalty.
And on the matter of loyalty?
"My beloved Foot Ninja. Today is an auspicious day." Karai announced, moving aside to allow Madame Gao to be pushed in by her aide. "Not only have our top four newcomers pushed back the turtles as well as the power rangers, but the Hand itself has given an alliance towards a shared goal: Finding this Mutant child that shall all but rule the world. A world were, this time around, he shall be indoctrinated by us ninja clans."
The Foot and Hand all cheered, liking how this sounded. Well, all but the five favorites of Karai.
"I dunno about this." Adam noted. "Something tells me that even with us leading the kid, he won't care."
"I don't like it either, but with all the crazy changes, this might be for the best." Kat said.
Aisha said nothing, her concern being on Rocky, who seemed contemplative. Very unlike him unless food, her or Adam were involved. So, she was understandably concerned when he rose his hand.
"Um, quick question?" the Foot's bear asked.
"Yes, Kuma?" The ninja mistress asked.
"Do…. we even know where this kid is going to be?"
Karai opened her mouth…but no answer came. She looked to Madame Gao, whose eyes darted around sheepishly.
"Bloody Hell, this is embarrassing." Kat sighed, before she tensed and hissed at the door…which was suddenly kicked off its hinges. Aisha, Rocky, Kat, Adam and the two mutants jumped out of the way, but the other Foot were not so lucky.
"I might be able to help."
A powerfully bulit skeleton like humanoid monster suddenly and literally marched in, glancing around in a bored state.
"THIS is the best of the best in this world? Dis. A. Pointing. Ah well. Listen up, I got an offer for ya: You bring me Spider-Man, I'll take care of these Rangers for you and let this brat copy my power, so that you can speed run conquering this dump of a world"
"And you are?" Madama Gao asked.
"Rito Repusla. Little brother of Rita Repusla, heir of King Repulsa and rival of not only Kaang, but that dingus Thanos."
To be continued…
Halfway through this arc and so, so sorry for the wait! The universe seemed determined to prevent it with my work schedule, family drama involving divorce and the death of a friend. But I have a hold on things now. Hope this chapter was worth the wait.
Kat and the Ninja Trio appear as members of the Foot, but don't worry; they're still good kids, just in the wrong crowd. Karai and Dr. Stockman will both be undertaking some 'Adaptational Badass' as well.
Gave Adam some siblings to pay homage to of Johnny's most iconic roles; Lelouch from Codee Geass and Ichigo from Bleach; two of the most devoted and protective big brothers.
To hint at what comes next time; before he underwent Villain Decay, what is Rito most famous for? Hint; it's a Power Rangers series staple, usually around the end of the series.
That and the X-Men prove just why they're so important/needed to ensure the future the Hero rangers come from. Fans of X-Men 97? Be prepared for a heroic Magento among other things!
See ya soon!
