Chapter 2: Going Up the Dreamstalk
Once Ethan and Janet landed on their feet when they came out from the portal and closes it, they both looked around the colorful landscape of Dreamland, one of the places in Planet Popstar.
"Woah, so this is Planet Popstar." Ethan said.
"Yeah, this place is beautiful. We must be in dreamland." Janet said.
"Right, now let's find the heroic pink puffball."
"Yeah, so we can both start our adventure! Now, where can we start?"
"I don't know, but I think place looks normal than-" Ethan said before bumping right into something.
The teens looked up and saw the enormous beanstalk just like in a fairy tale story.
"Wow, that's a gigantic beanstalk, just like in the story." Janet said.
"I don't think that's the beanstalk… that's the Dreamstalk! This is Kirby Triple Deluxe!" He said.
"Huh?"
"Yeah, the game released on Nintendo 3DS back in January 2014 in Japan, then later in May 2014 in the US." He explained.
"And the game is about Kirby climbing the Dreamstalk to save Floraila and the People of the Sky from Queen Sectonia." Janet said.
"That's what I supposed to say. But anyways, we're gonna keep it as a secret."
"You're right. Come on, let's climb up the Dreamstalk."
"I'm right behind ya!"
"Nice reference to Kirby: Right Back at Ya."
"Thanks."
Janet stared climbing up the Dreamstalk with her hands, then Ethan climbed up.
After a few hours of climbing, they finished climbing up the Dreamstalk and looks around that they're in the sky.
"Oh my, we're high up in the sky!" Janet said.
"Yeah, it looks beautiful." Ethan replied.
"And look, there's Dreamland!"
"Yeah, we're so high above from Dreamland."
"Okay, let's look for the heroic puffball named Kirby."
"Yeah, but try not to fall down from the Dreamstalk."
All of the sudden, they heard a scream that is coming from above and the teens looked very concerned.
"You hear something?" Ethan asks, Janet shrugged.
Just then, a pink puffball landed on the Dreamstalk and the teens looked very surprise.
"Oh my gosh, it's Kirby." Janet said.
"Yeah, but we'll have to keep a severer remember that?" Ethan asks.
The little puffball got up and dust himself before see two people in front of them.
"Poyo!" The pink puffball jumped back in shocked.
"Woah woah woah! It's okay, little guy. We mean you no harm." Ethan said.
"Yeah, we're nice people." Janet said and the pink puffball jumped in happiness.
"So, what's your name?"
Kirby pulled out his piece of paper and a crayon before started writing it. When he's finished, he shows it to Ethan and Janet.
"Kirby, that's your name?" Janet asks.
"Poyo!" Kirby replied.
"Well, my name's Janet and that's my new friend Ethan."
"Hey there. So, you okay?" Ethan asks.
"Poyo!" Kirby replied.
"Where did you fall from?" Janet said.
Kirby points up with his hand, the teens looked up and see that Kirby's home was on the Dreamstalk.
"Is that your home, Kirby?" Ethan asks.
"Poyo!" Kirby nodded.
"And how did your house get into the beanstalk?" Janet asks.
But before Kirby could reply, he noticed that he saw Dedede's castle that was on the Dreamstalk too.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"Kirby, what are you looking at?" Janet asks.
Kirby points at the castle, Ethan and Janet look at it and they were surprised.
"I don't get it, that's Dedede's castle." Ethan said.
"Yeah, that's where he lives. King Dedede." Janet said before Kirby ran off to the castle.
"Kirby! Where are you going?" Janet asked.
"Looks like he's going to the castle." Ethan said.
"Yeah, what's he doing?"
Just then, they heard a voice from the sky, it was Sophia's voice.
"You must help Kirby save dreamland from Queen Sectonia's plan!" She said.
"Okay, thanks for the advice, Sophia!" Ethan said.
"You're welcome." Sophia said before disappearing.
"Come on, let's go after him!" Janet said before grabbing his hand and ran after the pink puffball.
Once they made it to the castle, they finally catch up with Kirby.
Kirby turned around and looks at Ethan and Janet.
"Hey Kirby, sorry to run off like that but we decided to catch up with you and-" Ethan said before noticing Kirby saw a spider-like creature with six hands entering the castle.
"Is that?" Janet asks.
"That's Taranza." Ethan said before Kirby went inside.
"Hey, wait for us!" Janet said as she and Ethan ran inside Dedede's castle.
Inside the castle, Kirby and the two teens saw Taranza floating towards King Dedede but the Waddle Dee guards stopped him.
"Those are the Waddle Dees," said Janet before Taranza attacks them with his dark magic, leaving King Dedede shocked.
"W-what the?!" King Dedede said in shock.
"That's him, that's King Dedede." Ethan whispered.
"Yeah, what's he gonna do with him?" Janet whispered.
Taranza uses his dark purple energy and blasted it right into King Dedede, making him felling powerless and Kirby was shocked.
"That," he replied.
"Ooh, my head." King Dedede said.
And with that, Taranza uses her hand to lift King Dedede and flies out from his castle.
"There he goes!" Janet said.
Kirby then ran outside from Dedede's castle as Janet and Ethan ran after him.
"Kirby, wait!" Ethan yelled and Kirby stopped before turning to the teens.
"Hey Kirby, I know that your friend has been captured but… mind if we join you on an adventures to save him?" Janet asked and Kirby jumped up & down in yes.
"Great!" Janet said, clapping her hands.
"Now come on, we got a friend to save!" Ethan said.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
Janet, Ethan and Kirby started running up the Dreamstalk to chase after Taranza who is holding King Dedede.
This could be the beginning of a new adventure for Ethan and Janet.
