Finally it's December which is a perfect time to dive into one of my personal favorite Disney films. Next to Tangled, is Frozen! βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

So yeah I'm going to do that traditional theory of making Elsa and Anna Rapunzel's cousins. Only this time I'm going to expand the relationship to an interesting spin since Rapunzel's allies are bigger than in the movies. Thanks to her tv show.
Especially since Cassandra is back early which makes this the perfect opportunity for an idea me and my co-worker had. π
But the chapter will start with the appearance of a favorite Netflix Marvel character we all know and love. π

RustyPete12: Oh yeah! Cass is in da Key House! But yeah I was thinking the same thing. The Keyhole of each world or at least certain worlds would have to move in another location to avoid compromising the world's safety due to complications, like bad weather. So yeah. You're definitely right on this. And thanks again for your support. ππ
Quasi2.0: Nope you're not the only one. Quasimodo and Rapunzel have something in common. Both grew up in a tower. Both were manipulated by an old mentor who was taking advantage of them and lying about how the world is dark and dangerous when it's really them. But as for that Snow White Theory. I know people went with it. Especially since it was revealed in season 3 of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure that Gothel uses magic mirrors. But I think what discredits the idea of Gothel being the Evil Queen from Snow White is that if the Evil Queen did find the Sun Drop flower. She would have ordered her men to take it to her palace instead of leaving it out for others to find and take it. That and it was a potion and not age. I doubt the Evil Queen would have the patience to raise another girl when she could barely raise another girl. Especially Cassandra's back story.ππ
But I digress. Let me know your thoughts on this theory, Folks.
Esmeralda is hot: I promise you. If the inevitable happens with our guardians and Cassandra making a return to Quasimodo's world. I promise to not repeat the same exact plot, storyline and impact of that cash grab sequel. I might have something for that circus girl, her name is Madellaine. But for now I'll need time to think of how the Guardians are ever to return to that world. So I consider it concluded for now, but if we learned anything from Tangled's tv show. Conclusions aren't always final. ππ

Tell The Guards To Open Up The Gate!
That morning in the New York Courthouse... Of Marvel Earth...
As the cars and streets were busy and reporters and journalists filled the main entrance outside the courthouse.
There was a man standing trial within the courts. A black man in his early thirties with a goatee and short black hair, named Darnell Taylor, was standing trial at the main defended table.
Darnell is an R supervisor for the Multicorp plaza in New York. Who is being accused of murder of a security guard who worked in the building.
The security cams caught Darnell standing over the body. And nothing else. Which made the police draw conclusions.
Orion Forge himself visited the witness as he confessed he didn't kill him. And he came and found the body. He won't fill in the rest of the blanks of what happened before. But Orion heard his heart and could tell he wasn't lying.
So he came to stand with the defense team along with Rapunzel and Cassandra who are wearing buisness suits with skirts. Rapunzel had a dark purple one and Cassandra had a gray one. While Orion was wearing a black business suit and tie. While wearing a human skin mod to hide his red skin.
Orion kept eyeing the door. On the look out for Darnell's lawyer, who was not here. And the court is about to be in session within five minutes.
"He better not be making a pit stop sticking it to the man." Orion whispered with mild anxiousness.
"Just how good of a lawyer is he, anyway?" Rapunzel asked.
"Are you seriously asking that after he had three successful Netflix seasons and grew his portfolio in the Kin?" Orion whispered with a raised eyebrow.
"Could you talk seriously for once and tell us?" Cassandra groaned quietly.
"I can't tell you the first part cause I don't wanna, but I can show you that last part." Orion grinned as he pointed at the door.
He heard the lawyer come on in. As the one who walked in was using a blind cane to tap the ground and walk in. The guy had a gray business suit and tie. And he had short brown hair and a faded five o'clock shadow with red sunglasses due to his blind eyes.
Rapunzel silently gasped in joyful shock as Cassandra patted her shoulder to keep her calm. Because she recognized him as Matt Murdock. Who is also known as the Daredevil.
"Sorry I'm late. I got held up with a robbery down on fifth." Matt told Orion as they should hands.
"How many bones did you break?" Orion asked which made Matt scoff.
"It wasn't that serious. Course one will feel it in the lower jaw tomorrow." Matt grinned a little.
"Anyway these are my secretaries." Orion used air quotes. "Cass and my sister, Zel. Ladies this is Matt Murdock...We teamed up before."
He winked twice letting them know Daredevil and Maverick already knows each other.
"Right. It's nice to see you, Mr. Murdock." Rapunzel smiled while shaking his hand. "And under slightly better circumstances than most."
"You don't count being in the midst of his Screen Actors Guild Award winning moments as a better time?" Orion inquired while breaking the fourth wall.
"It's fine, Your Highness. I often meet the best people in the middle of the action. Speaking of which, Verum Rex is outside, on the roof of this building. He's suspecting that whoever is in charge of the murder will be here. And judge Cynthia Batzer is more than likely the assassin's next target." Matt replied as he gave them all more info on the situation regarding the real murderer.
"Great. Just what we need." Rapunzel muttered in concern.
"Why do you think the assassin will be going after her next?" Cassandra asked.
"Because according to some info given by Jessica Jones and Jeri Hogarth. Judge Batzer is straight to the law by the letter. And losing her will open the door for another judge who's under Fisk's payroll to take her place." Matt stated how serious this was.
Fisk as in Wilson Fisk. The Kingpin. Imagine how many dangerous criminals would be let off the hook if a corrupt judge gave more than a few None Guilty Verdicts.
"Fisk. Isn't he one of the most dangerous mobsters in the city?" Rapunzel asked in concern.
"He is." Cassandra said with a serious look. "Could this mean he's the one who ordered for this assassination?"
"Well even if we tried to prove that, he has lawyers with more toxic powers than Matty back when he had Ben Affleck's face. If we really wanna hurt Humpty Dumpty. We need to keep this judge alive." Orion replied and added. With a Fourth Wall statement about Daredevil's original actor.
"I'll take care of everything when the court session starts. In the meantime. Keep your eyes open. And watch for the windows." Matt advised the three of them.
"Well then. We better make sure this assassin fails then." Rapunzel said with a determined look.
Just then. Judge Batzer hit her hammer on the judge panel to get everyone's attention. As the jury and witnesses all rose from their seats.
"Everyone, please rise. This court is now in session." Judge Batzer announced.
As the court hearing introduction was being played out. While a prosecutor named Bill Moore, a mid-forties man with a toupee and glasses with a mustache wearing a brown suit and tie, came up in front. And the bailiff made the announcements.
Meanwhile outside the courthouse...
Verum Rex was standing on the roof while he scannned the environment for anything suspicious. And he even scanned ahead towards a few of the buildings.
*"Yo Josh. How's the biz outside?"* Orion whispered in a New York accent on the comms.
"No suspicious activity to report on the streets." Verem Rex said before looking at a nearby news crew. "Unless you count the CNN reporters looking for fresh meat to exploit. And please don't call me that."
*"Nope. I'm keeping it."* Orion replied smugly.
*"Check the windows of the buildings facing the courtroom windows. The killer could more than likely be stationed there already."* Cassandra suggested an idea on the comms.
"Understood. I will do so now." Verem Rex said over the comms.
Verum Rex ran across the rooftop toward the east view of the building. Right above the courtroom windows. As he zoomed over and saw some windows that were opened.
The building was a residential hotel where most men and women rent rooms to be next door to where they're to be when a court room is in session. More than likely the members of the jury are staying over there.
*"Zora, something is wrong. I'm inside the hotel and apparently Charles Vargo, one of the members of the Jury is dead. I found his body stashed into the bathroom tub of his hotel room."* Swift stated.
*"That's not possible. He's seated with the jury right now. We're looking right at him."* Cassandra whispered on the comms. *"Unless..."*
"Unless he's an imposter posing as Charles Vargo in order to sneak in undetected." Verem Rex said with a grim voice. "Most likely the assassin."
Verum Rex saw what looked like a man in a black attire that resembles a Merc or someone from special ops. With a white target on his forehead. Walking out of the door that leads to the stairs.
Verum Rex realized who the assassin really is. And he made his move to intercept.
Back inside the courthouse...
"And so ladies and gentlemen of the Jury. Considering that Mr Taylor knew the victim, Brian Dimanche well. More than well. The fact that their sons grew up together. There is no reason to assume that he's the killer. our law jumped to that conclusion because he was there, and didn't stop to consider that maybe, he was just mourning over his friend or trying to help." Matt Murdock spoke in defense of Darnell Taylor. Like a professional lawyer. "Our world is full of people with special abilities. People who could either look after those who can't look after themselves. Or take advantage. Given how many superpowered enemies we have in New York. It's safe to assume that any of them could be involved in this. The reason why Court now is because we're looking for an easy way out instead of taking responsibility."
"Objection. Multicorp is a common conglomerate of multiple facets that can encourage those to assume they can bend the rules to better use the individual." Prosecutor Moore spoke up against the defendant. "Would you concur, Mr Forge?"
"That is a huge negatory. We've only bent the rules so that we can give people the means to never be taken advantage of again. Like any industry we test limits so that way we can see where we can discover more opportunities and benefits everyone else around us. Not for the reason to play God over someone's life." Orion dejected.
"Would you care to share the court with an example?" Prosecutor Moore inquired with a mild haughty demeanor.
"I could share over twenty Nobel Prize winning examples. But it would stretch this chapter longer than it should." Orion answered with a fourth wall breaking statement. "But for one, Darnell here helped my research for better medical treatments and solutions for ways we never thought possible. Without his breakthroughs and the late hours he spent working in my plaza. We would still be dealing with Skrull Pox. Wave-2 Extremis. Shingles. Hell if it wasn't for Taylor's team in R that developed artificial womb pods, you folks would still be doing abortions."
"Good thing for that too. The idea of abortions just doesn't sit right with me." Rapunzel whispered with a shudder, always being pro life.
"I agree. Those A. are way useful in cases of women wanting to have children but are unable to survive giving birth." Cassandra whispered.
"Abortion was just a means to save a mother's life-" Prosecutor Moore tried to protest.
"In case she can't give birth, I get why people do it. Or did it, taking a life to save a life. But does the life you're taking have a say in it? It's one thing to take the life of an evil heart, but a heart that will never see the sun? Or run or breathe air or never to stand and live? Which is why Taylor here made that question easy when he and his research team helped Project Cradle become a reality." Orion made a huge point as he gestured to his prominent member of R in this world.
"There you have it. If Darnell Taylor fights to improve and save lives. So much so that he would eliminate the toughest decisions a woman could ever face, while an unborn child can live as we do. Why then would he abruptly take a life? One that he admired?" Matt Murdock asked the court.
And Prosecutor Moore was quiet. Even his liberal thinking couldn't argue with that logic.
"Your Honor? May I say something to that subject?" Darnell asked as he looked afraid but honest.
"You may." Judge Batzer nodded.
"Brian Dimanche was one of the best people I had ever known. He defended me from those who would come in to protest against my resource. He always had my back when it matter." Darnell said as he wiped a few tears.
"And he never opposed any questionable decisions?" Judge Batzer asked out of a protocol of precaution.
"No. Never. He would ask questions to understand them and if he had trouble contemplating some of my actions. He was always patient and would listen to my explanations." Darnell said as he looked mournful. "I'm a man of life, Your Honor. And I'll do certain things to make the common folks upset if it means to save lives. Taking a life, especially the life of a friend is never something I would consider."
Then as the jury began to speak with each other. Matt Murdock walked over and whispered. "Well said." To Darnell.
"In the case of the accused Darnell Taylor. It is without question, despite that another possible killer has not been found, witnessed or apprehended. After hearing the statements and revelations made here today. It is without question that Mr. Taylor is not a possible killer. Has the Jury reached a verdict?" Judge Batzer stated and asked.
A member of the jury named Nicolas Smith spoke up from the jury seating. "We have your honor. We find the defendant, not guilty." He announced with a unanimous agreement.
"And with a unanimous decision from the court and jury in favor. Mr. Taylor you are free to go. Dismiss." Judge Batzer stated as she banged the gavel.
And sighs of relief were heard all around. And even Darnell was silently thanking God while looking up, as he felt a weight off his shoulder.
"Oh thank goodness we won." Rapunzel sighed in relief. "Darnell's not going to prison after all.
"Yes, but we're not done yet." Cassandra said with a serious look. "We still have a killer to look out for."
Just then. One of the members of the Jury, Charles Vargo walked by and placed something small on the judge's table. Matt noticed as he walked by doing the blind act. And he took whatever it was in his hand.
Matt widened his eyes hearing a beeping noise and without anyone noticing. He tossed it into the air and Orion quickly acted as he subtlety used his neon powers to cover the roof. Then...
*Booom!*
An explosion erupted. But thankfully no one was killed due to the neon shield blocking it from hitting anyone below. Screams and terror erupted in the court as Judge Batzer took cover and checked on the members of the Jury.
While Charles Vargo reached for a gun to finish her off from behind. Thankfully Cassandra took notice and held her hand up to cause summon some black rocks to encase his hands and drop him to the ground.
"He's got a mask." Matt alerted her.
Cassandra nodded as she spawned a spike to tear Charles mask off. Revealing a metallic white face. Showing that it wasn't Charles Vargo at all.
It was the Chameleon!
As the police came in and secured a perimeter. They noticed the Chameleon.
"Freeze!" One cop yelled.
"Dispatch it's the Chameleon! Send in a Squad car and Rikers operatives!" Another cop called in as they got him up and handcuffed him as the rocks fell off.
Pascal on Rapunzel's shoulder was holding his hands up in surrender briefly. At first he eas thinking the cops were speaking about him. But then he saw Chameleon on the ground protesting in Russian and the little lizard shrugged and sighed in relief.
"So, this was who was impersonating Charles Vargo." Rapunzel said looking down at the villain. "And here I thought we were dealing with someone like Mystique."
Hell no. Blue Shade Mist wouldn't bother working for an inhumane human being like Kingpin, especially since she's gone straight...ish." Orion stated to the facts, before he called in Verum Rex. "Spike, where are you?"
As he was calling his friend. Matt slipped out of the courtroom to get changed into his suit.
Meanwhile on the rooftop of the hotel next door...
Outside the police werr closing in and surrounding the building. But a group of mercs and thugs were occupying the roof of the hotel. With assault rifles and guns. Verum Rex hit behind a air unit and answered.
"We got a problem. Chameleon's not the only one gunning for the judge. Bullseye is here." Verum Rex replied quietly as he looked over.
And that was Bullseye wearing his tactical suit with the white target mask. Holding a specially armed sniper rifle.
*"Bullseye? I take it he's like a longshot kind of villain?"* Rapunzel asked.
*"More like Deadshot only if he was American Psycho instead of American Dad. Is he aiming at the windows?"* Orion replied.
"Yes, he is." Verem Rex answered quietly. "If I do anything to alert him of my presence, he might take the shot."
*"What if I cover the windows with concrete?"* Cassandra suggested.
*"He could pull the trigger before you finish. We'll need a distraction."* Maverick spoke on the comms as Orion had already armored up.
Just then. One of the thugs was pulled down off the roof by someone. Verum Rex noticed as the thug was tossed into an open window down below.
"I think we already got one." Verum Rex whispered in response.
Just then. One of the thugs looked over and noticed one of there own was missing.
"Hey. Where the hell is Curtis?" One thug asked.
"I don't know. Maybe he has to use the bathroom again." The other thug said. "You know, he really should see a doctor about that."
Just then. Those two other thugs were knocked in the head by a red baton. And as they fell. Daredevil landed and rolled as he did a silent take down to another by knocking another thug down and knocking the back of his head.
Then Daredevil signaled Verum Rex to take down the other two up front. Verum Rex nodded as he vaulted over the air units and silently ran over using his freeflow skills to twirl in the air and knock those thugs down. With the air blowing loudly. No one heard.
Just then. Cassandra in her Paragon uniform came from below and landed to cause three thug's mouths to close with rock gags. Which caused them to struggle and passed out in seconds.
Rapunzel who had her hair loose. Use a strand of her hair to yank four thugs down a fire escape below.
Then Maverick flew over and rapidly teleported five more thugs away.
And once Bullseye was down to just four men. One of them turned and was flabbergasted to see the other one.
"Hey! Boss!" The remaining thug yelled in distress. "The others are gone!"
Bullseye turned and narrowed his eyes as he saw a lot of his men gone. And a good number of them are done on the ground.
"Are cover's blown boys. I'm wrapping this up before shit hits the fan." Bullseye sneered as he turned to shoot the judge. But then his eyes widened to see the windows are covered in black rocks.
"More like I hit the fan with my own shit!...That sounded a lot less gross in my head." Maverick announced as he echoed from his hiding spot.
"You going to kill me by talking me to death?" Bullseye snorted as he took out two hand guns.
"Hey if you can die from talking, it's not my fault." Maverick shrugged from wherever he was.
As Bullseye walked closer in the middle of the rooftop. Looking around the air units, smoke tubes and sky lift. Suddenly Daredevil landed and started punching and kicking the other four guys. Fighting like the man without fear as he twirled and delivered so many sick kicks and punches.
Bullseye quickly turned to shoot at Daredevil. But Maverick teleported and used his keyblades to twirl and block the bullets. As Bullseye shifted his two weapons and inserted them together. As it became an assault rifle.
"Awe that's *king sick! Can I have one?!" Maverick's eyes widened in amazement of the gun.
"You can have all the rounds you one, Glowy." Bullseye smirked as he took the shot rapidly fired at Maverick who kept spinning his keyblades.
*Rapid firing!*
Maverick spun his keyblades to block all incoming shots. While Daredevil was taking down the last of the thugs behind him.
But as this was going on. Soon the incoming back up showed up of Bullseye's remaining ten thugs. Verum Rex showed up and and landed with blasting a stun spell at them. And as they froze. Paragon flipped in the air and encased all of them with black rocks.
And finally as Bullseye was all that's left. He kept firing at Maverick who kept slashing through his bullets. Until...
*Bang!*
Bullseye's face twitched and fell to the ground. Rapunzel was standing behind him smirking and holding her frying pan.
Daredevil stood up and tilted his head. "A frying pan?" He asked.
"A Vibranium Frying Pan." Rapunzel said smugly.
"It was a birthday gift." Paragon shrugged.
"Wooo! Even with his laser light Paraphernalia and 2020 vision! Dexter couldn't even land one shot!" Maverick cheered as he bumped his fists in the air. Unaware that his chest was full of holes.
"You're right. He didn't land one shot. Just two dozen shots." Rapunzel said with slight mirf.
Maverick looked down at his chest and teleported next to Daredevil. "Forgive me for ranting in front of a Catholic, but..." Maverick said as he teleported over and slammed Bullseye's rifle into air unit too many times as he ranted. "GOD! SHIT! *K! SON OF A! DAMN! PISSING! BITCH!" He screamed with each slam of the rifle.
Even Daredevil had to back away slowly.
"I don't know what weirdness I missed more. His high tolerance for pain. Or his colorful vocabulary." Paragon looked weirded out as she stood next to Rapunzel.
"I will say this. It's never a dull moment when he's around." Rapunzel said as she shook her head at her brother's antics.
As Maverick was still screaming and cursing in the background. Daredevil looked down at Bullseye. And figured how this all was arranged.
"This is obviously Fisk screwing around with the law as usual. But I doubt Bullseye or Chameleon will ever confess anything." Daredevil said as he looked at the others. "Still, with Judge Batzer safe. There won't be an early parole for them or the other criminals she helped put away."
"I'm glad we were able to stop them then." Rapunzel said.
"It's a shame these two won't give up on their boss. I'd love to put that bastard away permanently." Cassandra said.
"You and me both. Even Spidey can't wait to see the handcuffs." Verum Rex added.
"Fisk may be tough but he's not unbreakable. He'll slip on his own slime soon. And I'll be there when it happens." Daredevil declared as he got his baton zipline grapple ready. "Thank you all for your help. But it's best we get going. NTPD will be here soon."
"Right. We don't need the publicity right now." Rapunzel said.
"It was great seeing you again Matt. Tell Foggy and Karen I said hi." Verum Rex smiled as he shook Daredevil's hand.
"And remind Karen that Daredevil vol. 2 #5 never happened because of me!" Maverick echoed as he teleported back over and called him his ship. "Beam us up, Boys."
'Excelsior!' PRO and TEC replied as Verum Rex. Maverick. Rapunzel and Cassandra were beamed up to the ship.
on that note. Daredevil used his baton grapple to swing out of there. With the killer Bullseye and his associates apprehended. Darnell Taylor will return back to his life with compensation. Kingpin won't tolerate this set back. But he won't try gunning for Judge Batzer again to avoid suspicion.
Later on back in Castle Corona...
As Maverick stood on the balcony of Rapunzel's bedroom. He looked at the Readers while leaning on the rails. Rapunzel was painting inside her bedroom while wearing her royal (Season 3) attire and barefoot. Under the armor. Orion was just wearing his keyblade wielding attire.
"You're probably wondering what was the point of that little time consuming prologue. Well. If this next crossover based on a House Of Mouse hit has taught us anything. Is much like our costume Powerpuff Men and Women. You don't really know someone truly well because he or she has a public figure. Sure folks like Matty B Deville leave a cool mark as a lawyer. But they don't know what shit they deal with behind doors." Maverick stated a true fact to the Readers. "Take me for example. One time-"
"Hey, Ryan! Could you keep it down? I'm trying to concentrate on my painting!" Rapunzel called out from her room.
"Real smooth." Maverick whispered to the Author with an exasperated expression before he shifted back into Orion and walked in to see her painting something on a wooden stand and a fresh white paint board and canvas.
"So what's on the screen this time, Zelly Warhol?" Orion asked.
"Well, After our day in court, I decided to try making a painting of the court, like they have people do during big court cases?" Rapunzel said as she continued painting.
"You said the word court enough times to make it into a drinking game." Orion scoffed as he looked at the image of the courtroom. And he noticed Daredevil drawn up at the skylight window. "Is that our signature Man Without Fear up in that skylight?" He inquired.
"Yep. It sure is. I also painted him as Matt Murdock down below with us showing both sides of the same coin that is he." Rapunzel said.
'So...there are two Daredevils?' PRO asked from Orion's ring.
'Oh my God! Maybe Matt Murdock isn't really Daredevil?!' TEC gasped dramatically.
"No no no! It's a way to show both sides of him without any risk to his secret." Rapunzel said with a smirk. "Might even throw any suspicions people might already have out the window."
"I doubt anyone would ever suspect he's Daredevil. That's what makes Matt's public identity so perfect. Nobody in real life would ever conclude that a blind guy is a vigilante that sneaks on criminals and attacks them Batman style. Meanwhile in the DC universe, if there is one. Superman hides it with a pair of glasses." Orion stated as he put some round regular glasses over his eyes.
'HEY! WHAT DID YOU WITH MAVERICK YOU LAME ASS STRANGER?!' TEC accused falling for the glasses.
'You really are twenty one flavors of dumb, are you?' PRO deadpanned at TEC.
"Yeah, I never understood how the hell people don't realize. He doesn't even try to mask his own voice." Rapunzel giggled at Orion's digital assistants.
Just then. Coming from the door is King Frederic and Queen Arianna came in through the door. And they both looked like they had something important to talk about.
"Get ready folks, the real chapter's plot is starting. Promise." Orion whispered to the Readers as he quickly took the glasses off.
"Rapunzel? Sweetheart? I hope we're not interrupting, but we have something to talk about downstairs." Frederic said calmly.
"Sure, Dad. What is it?" Rapunzel asked her father as she set down her paint brush.
"It's something important. Nothing Guardians important. Just 'family' important." Arianna said with a bit of firm assurance.
"You guys go on ahead. I need to take this call with Walter about updating security in the Marvel NY Plaza." Orion said as he teleported out with his cellphone.
Rapunzel nodded before Orion left and she walked out with Frederic and Arianna down the hall. Where their family portraits are.
With the three of them alone. Arianna and Frederic could speak candidly with Rapunzel about something they never told her. As they walked down to a certain row of their royal family's portraits. Keeping pne at the back which has been covered for a while.
"As you can tell, our memories are starting to come back. And we remember a good number of those who are in the family tree. Even some distant relatives." Frederic stated as he walked with his wife and daughter.
"Really? That's great!" Rapunzel said enthusiastically. "Who are we talking about?"
"Well. It's about our...other family. From my side to be exact." Arianna said.
"Aunt Willow?" Rapunzel asked.
"No no! Goodness no, we patched up that menace." Arianna chuckled a little as she remembered the issues she had with Willow. And then her smile dropped. "It's about our family in Arendelle. My brother was the King Of Arendelle."
Then Frederic pulled the sheeted cover off of one portrait as Rapunzel looked in awe. She had never seen this one before.
It was a portrait of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna of Arendelle. Standing in a royal background with red certain as they stood together in their royal attire. And at the bottom were their daughters. The oldest with platinum white hair and pale skin was Princess Elsa. And the little one in the chair with strawberry blonde hair was Princess Anna.
Look this portrait up on Google! It's there!
"This was painted about thirteen years ago. The little ones are Elsa and Anna. Your cousins." Frederic said with a small smile.
"I have two cousins. O my God I have two cousins! This is great!" Rapunzel gushed in thrill before looking confused. "But, why are you bringing them up now?"
Which was a good question. If Rapunzel knew she had cousins. She would've been glad to have met them. Heck she would've added a stop in Arendelle on the map when they made their journey to the dark kingdom last year.
"Something happened thirteen years ago. Something that to this day leaves your mother and I in confusion. The last time we saw these little ones was during Christmas when they range the yule bell." Frederic touched the side of the portrait as if he was remembering a warm and tender time. "But not long after. For some reason the King And Queen locked the Castle Gates. Reduced the staff and reduced contact with anyone outside the castle. Even us."
"They did? But why? Why would they cut themselves off from the rest of the world?" Rapunzel asked in concern. "Especially their own family?"
"That's what I asked him. When they came to visit four years ago. During the lantern events on your birthday. They didn't bring Elsa or Anna. I asked why and Agnarr was firm in not telling us. Saying 'it's complicated'. But I didn't push my brother." Arianna said and looked down. "Part of me wishes I did."
"A year later. Agnarr and Iduna were out at sea. And a storm took their lives." Frederic said solemnly as he placed a hand around Arianna who wiped a few tears.
That was three years ago. And that was Arianna's only brother that died. Arianna kept herself composed. But it still hurts.
"Oh my God, Mom." Rapunzel gasped with sympathy in her eyes at how sad that story was before hugging Arianna tightly. "I am so sorry you lost your brother like that."
Rapunzel was also sad to know that she had an uncle and aunt that she never got to meet. And that this was all going on while she was still missing.
"It's alright, Sweetheart. What got me out of that phase. Was having you brought back to us." Arianna said softly as she cupped her daughter's cheek with one hand.
Seems royalty has its own struggle in the family.
"There's one more reason why we're telling you this now. Your cousin Elsa has come of age and tomorrow will be her Coronation. Where she will be crowned Queen Of Arendelle." Frederic spoke up and revealed.
"Really?" Rapunzel asked, her excitement returning.
"Yes. And we've been given an invitation. The problem is your mother and I have some important matters you handle with a meeting about our opening trade with Poland and Germany. Which is why I would like to ask if you would like to make the trip for us." Frederic requested his daughter as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "We'll be available when the trade concludes tomorrow evening."
"You can just tell your cousins that our ship got held up." Arianna winked.
"You want us to go to the Coronation? Heck yes!" Rapunzel exclaimed excitedly. "Can I bring along Eugene, Cass, Lance, and my siblings?"
"You'll have to actually. If there is any danger, who else can get you to Arendelle faster than your brother the Maverick?" Frederic grinned as he looked over and knew he was listening in.
Maverick teleported over while dressed like George W Bush.
"What do I look like? United Airlines? I'm a national guard, not a piggyback ride. Which I put on the Axis of Evil." Maverick mimicked Bush as he spoke. "Along with Iran. Iraq. And one of those Koreas."
"Next thing you know, he's gonna say a lot of our imports come from other countries." Rapunzel said jokingly, referring to a memorable saying President Bush once said. "Sorry, Mr. President. I guess this task was just too much for you to handle."
"Oh no it ain't. What kinda rat hole team do ya think we have here?" Maverick asked Bush before he dropped the look and spoke normally. "I can get us all there. But it won't be epic during parking."
"Great. Now all we need is to tell the others and pack up." Rapunzel said.
And so Rapunzel quickly kissed her parents and brother on the cheek before she hurried over to get Eugene and the others ready for the trip to Arendelle.
Later on at the Corona docks...
A ship for traveling that hailed the flag of Corona was set up along with a crew. As Nigel the king's advisor oversaw everything as the cargo was being brought in.
Rapunzel stood with Eugene and Cassandra as Nigel gave a list of all the cargo on board, mostly for trade.
"This should be everything, Princess. Oh and I took the liberty of packing some winter attire for you and the others in case the Norwegian weather changes down in Arendelle." Nigel said as everything was set.
"So you're partially related to the kingdom of a cold shoulder. But at least your cousins don't live anywhere further north, otherwise you'd probably be part viking." Eugene remarked humorously.
"Woo boy! I remember our last visit to Arendelle like it was yesterday!" Lance laughed, feeling the excitement and nudged Eugene. "Remember Eugene? When we did that job to take a painting from the castle portrait room?"
"I told you not to mention that ever again! Especially now of all times to mention the unmentionable!" Eugene hissed with grit teeth as he covered Lance's mouth.
"You tried to steal a painting?" Cassandra inquired with a raised eyebrow.
It happened a long time ago. Before Eugene met Rapunzel and reformed from his Flynn Ryder days.
"What? The buyer was paying five grand and some Swiss cheese for a Joan Of Arc painting." Lance meekly said.
"Alright let's just hope that the young lady that saw us and smacked us in the head with a chocolate hors d'oeuvres plate doesn't remember us." Eugene eased the idea.
"Don't worry, I'm sure whoever saw you guys, forgot all about you." Rapunzel said before jumping in excitement. "Oooh! I can't wait to meet them! This is gonna be awesome!"
"How about you, Cass? You seem pretty conciliated about this trip?" Friday asked Cassandra who seemed okay and alert about this trip.
"Well, normally my Guardian duties come first these days. But I can definitely spare some time for small trips like these." Cassandra with a casual shrug.
"Going across the globe to meet with royalty is considered a small errand?" Eugene teased. "Master Hail Mary Cass?"
"Once you've been to space and became Keyblade Master it is. which makes you my traveling entourage." Cassandra smirked back.
Sibling Rivalry revived!
"Oh burn with a heavy meteor shower!" Orion exclaimed with a laugh. "Ah...Classic."
"Oh please, with me being the heir of King Arthur, I think that would make you MY entourage." Eugene said smugly.
"Nah, that just makes you our Veteran for accolades." Cassandra said with a smirk.
"I think you've been up there too long cause you're head's in the clouds." Eugene muttered while folding his arms.
"So, any idea how we're getting to Arrendelle fast?" Rapunzel asked, not wanting to be late.
"Well thanks to the perk of our permanent nice plague. I borrowed some Christmas magic from the jolly Scott Calvin himself, and installed all of it into the sails of the ship. What should be a week's trip will become a day's trip." Orion stated as he gestured at the Christmas colors around the mast.
"Will be there at sunrise tomorrow." Friday added.
"Alright! I am all for that, especially the whole Christmas magic bit!" Rapunzel beamed excitedly.
"Well everyone watches Frozen primarily during the holidays. And our Readers are already unboxing the tinsel and hallmark movies." Orion grinned at the Readers.
Just then. Arianna came over from behind the group. Holding Varian who was sucking on a pacifier and dressed up in a royal attire for a two year old baby in this trip. Even though he can already walk. Both Rapunzel and Arianna loves to carry him everywhere. Even Friday is that way.
"Don't forget about the little one." Arianna smiled as she passed Varian over to Rapunzel.
"Mom! How could you even think we'd forget him!?" Rapunzel gasped dramatically before looking at her brother in her arms and spoke in a silly voice to her littlest brother. "We'd never forget you, Varian. No we won't. You're coming with us to meet our cousins."
"Bot!" Varian chimed as he pointed at the ship. As if to say boat.
"Yes, Varian. It's a boat." Rapunzel cooed at her brother as she walked on board the ship with him in her arms. "We're going on a boat. It's gonna be so much fun."
As everyone got on board. Friday and Orion were the last ones to board the ship. With Rocket and Groot keeping an eye on the Mav Club and with Yozora running things with the team. Things will be under control while they take this trip.
"What are the odds of this ship having more to offer than what we're expecting?" Friday asked her husband.
"We're somewhere between broken barriers and unintentional modern metaphors to a major disaster plot becoming a high grossing animated film. Or probably both." Orion answered as they walked on. And the ship began to sail.
Rapunzel waved at her mother while teaching little Varian to wave as they would catch up the day after tomorrow. One thing is definite. Whatever secrets Arendelle's royals might have will offer more than what to expect. And that is guaranteed.
Sunrise in the Kingdom of Arendelle...
The entire Kingdom was lively and filled with excitement and celebration as the people were preparing for the Coronation and guests began arriving by ship. Arendelle wasn't as booming and large as Corona. And has more of an emphasis on pinewood and a Nordic theme. But it was a beautiful kingdom to visit. One that shows great wealth and prosperity.
"Welcome to Arendelle!" The Dock Master exclaimed to a French Dignitary as he disembarked from his ship.
"Ah, Merci, Monsieur." The French Dignitary said politely.
"Watch your step, please. The gates will be opening soon." The Dock Master said to him.
Meanwhile nearby, a mother tried to put a jacket onto her young son.
"Why do I have to wear this?" The boy asked in a whine.
"Because the Queen has come of age. It's Coronation Day!" The mother said joyfully while leading her son towards the town square where decorations were being put up.
"That's not my fault." The boy whined in response.
This was going on as a May Pole was being raised up, people cheering as it was set up.
On the other side of it, a young man known as Kristoff stood by his sled with his reindeer friend, Sven. These two are part of the ice harvesting business. And they'll be important later.
"What do you want, Sven?" Kristoff asked while holding a carrot behind his back.
"Give me a snack!" Kristoff spoke for Sven in a goofy voice, while the reindeer was looking at him eagerly, prompting Kristoff to hold up the carrot.
"What's the magic word?" Kristoff asked with a smirk.
"Please!" Kristoff spoke for Sven again before Sven jumped up and took a bite out of the carrot. Or rather the whole thing.
"Uh! Uh, uh, uh! Share." Kristoff insisted firmly with a grin, prompting Sven to give the rest of the carrot back to Kristoff from out of his mouth. Then Kristoff took a bite of it.
It's been in his mouth you idiot!
While this happened, an excited couple walked past Kristoff and Sven. Heading towards the chapel to see the Coronation begin.
"I can't believe they're finally opening up the gates!" Persi beamed while accepting his hat from his wife.
"And for a whole day! Faster, Persi!" Persi's wife exclaimed while dragging him along.
Meanwhile, walking behind the couple was the Duke of Weselton with his two guards walking beside him. A short man, above middle age with a mustache. And two bodyguards in red uniforms.
"Ah, Arendelle, our most mysterious trade partner. Open those gates so I may unlock your secrets and exploit your riches." The Duke said diabolically before looking sheepish. "Did I say that out loud?"
"YEP!" Orion echoed from the Coronian ship that was coming in from the dock.
"Darn it! I need to pull back. They're on to me." The Duke said with suspicion as he backed behind his guards.
On board the ship. It was sailing the harbor of the Fjord as it was about to dock soon. Orion was playing on his Playstation Portal due to the strong signal he's got using a Multicorp wi-fi router.
And Rapunzel was leaning on the rails of the top deck on the other end of Orion. While standing next to Cassandra who was wearing her Paragon uniform. But with the colors of a royal guard of Corona. Which were the colors gold and red. Similar to what her father wears.
While Rapunzel was wearing her original purple Princess dress (from season 1 and the first movie) while barefoot.
"So. Keeping it together?" Cassandra asked Rapunzel with a grin as they were watching the view of Arendelle.
"Oh sure. I'm all together. Not like I'm ready to explode in excitement." Rapunzel said with a giddy face, trying and failing to hide her excitement. "Okay I admit I'm Just barely keeping it together. I mean look. We're finally here. We're gonna meet my cousins. This is just too exciting!"
"Well if this doesn't blow you over. I heard something interesting." Cassandra said and leaned in to whisper. "Legend has it. That there is a colony of rock trolls that are hidden in the woods of Arendelle."
"Are you kidding me?" Rapunzel gasped in further excitement. "Oh my Gosh! This is just getting better and better! We should make a trip with our cousins once the party is over!"
"And we're talking trolls made of rock. Not the ones made of pink product placements like what DreamWorks has." Orion added as he was playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 on his PS Portal still.
"Uh, Ryan? Are you seriously playing Call Of Duty after that skit making fun of those games? You know, the stage act you did with the Muppets?" Rapunzel asked in disbelief.
"Repetition dies for a certain period, Sis. And I only play the Black Ops titles in the franchise. Especially after they introduced Ronald Reagan in the one before this." Orion emphasized.
"You're kidding me, right?" Rapunzel asked in shock.
"I'd rather give money to this than to our corporate overlords who made Star Wars Outlaws and those forty year old virgins that made Concord." Orion eyebrowed Rapunzel and he looked back down and looked troubled as he ran off. "Oh *kme! When did they put zombies in the main campaign?!"
Once Orion was gone. They both looked weirded out.
"Are you sure he didn't get worse since I came back?" Cassandra asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Honestly, it's sometimes hard to tell, especially since he's been like this long before he even met us." Rapunzel said.
Just then Lance and Eugene came up on deck and Eugene put his arm around Rapunzel.
"Ah don't you miss this? Traveling the globe and not the stars? Meeting new people and discovering a dark secret that extends our vacation?" Eugene remarked as Rapunzel giggled.
"Of course my last trip extended a lot longer since I turned to the dark side for a time, but I digress." Cassandra shrugged while feeling awkward for saying that.
"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty sure this'll be one time we don't have to deal with anything too crazy." Rapunzel said enthusiastically.
"Oh oh look! There's Arendelle Castle! Not as large and elaborate as Castle Corona but the inside will look like Christmas! But with more pine cones." Lance pointed at the castle ahead and asked. "No one here's allergic to pine cones right?"
"I used to be!" Orion echoed.
"Oh wow. This place looks amazing!" Rapunzel exclaimed as she saw Arrendelle castle in front of them.
"Kinda gothic on the lack of color. But still nice." Cassandra shrugged with a grin.
More like a metaphor for the cold and empty secluded life the sisters are living.
"Still. I bet we get a good look at those two kids in the portraits all grown up and they'll look beautiful like a golden image!" Lance beamed.
Well...Maybe not in the mornings because...
Meanwhile inside the Castle. More specifically. Princess Anna's bedroom...
Princess Anna was a eighteen year old young woman with a slender build and fair skin. She has turquoise eyes, rosy cheeks, thin pink lips, a small nose, long, strawberry-blonde hair, and a light dusting of freckles. And Anna also has a white streak on the right side of her hair.
And speaking of 'beautiful like a golden image'. Anna's morning habits didn't fit that description completely.
Anna was sleeping and snoring away in bed, with her hair all mangled like a bird's nest, and with a line of drool running down her right cheek.
"Princess Anna?" Kai, the Castle Overseer, called out from outside Anna's room while knocking on the door and waking Anna up.
The Princess only barely wakes up.
"Huh?" Anna mumbled as she sat up, trying to wipe the sleep from her eyes.
"Princess Anna?" Kai called again.
"Yeah?" Anna asked sleepily before removing some of her hair from her mouth.
"Sorry to wake you, Ma'am but..." Kai started hesitantly.
"No, no, no. You didn't." Anna said with a yawn, her eyes still closed. "I've been up for hours...!"
As she sat there with her head propped up, she fell back asleep and started to snore, *Snooooreβ¦.* Then her head dropped from her arm which startled her awake. But with her eyes still closed.
"Who is it!?" Anna asked again as she tried rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Wha - It's still me, Ma'am. The gates will open soon. Time to get ready." Kai said as Anna stretched her eyes still closed.
"Of course! Ready for what?" Anna asked in tired confusion as she was still waking up.
"Your sister's coronation, Ma'am." Kai answered back.
"My sister's corneration..." Anna mumbled as she opened her eyes and noticed her coronation dress at the other end of the room, making her remember what day it was today, making her gasp in excitement
"It's coronation day!" Anna squealed as she jumped out of bed and quickly got ready and into her dress.
As Anna bursted out of her room, wearing her coronation dress, she passed by a servant, Gerda, and took her hand in excitement.
"It's coronation day!" Anna exclaimed as she spun Gerda around.
Anna giggled as she came down stairs in the mid sanctum of the castle and saw the castle staff all coming together to open the curtains of the windows.
The staff came in with large piles or clean plates for the guests. And the Princess felt the magic of Fantasia to start singing.
"The window is open!~ So's that door!~ I didn't know they did that anymore!~ Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates?!~" Anna sang as she went around the servants and held one of the plates. Then Anna ran down the hall with passion and excitement as she ran through the empty ballroom being set up. "For years I've roamed these empty halls!~ Why have a ballroom with no balls?~ Finally they're opening up the gaaaates!~"
Anna sang that last nine as she slid down the spiral staircase. And then she shook the hands of one of the standing suits of armor and accidentally took the arm off. While awkwardly putting back on wrong.
"There'll be actual, real-life people~ It'll be totally strange~ Wow, am I so ready for this chaaaaange!~" Anna sang as she went to the windows and saw the top of the ships coming in all the way from the inner gates. Even Corona's ship. As Anna got on a window lift and got pulled the rope to lift herself to the top of the castle roof to see the view of the ships. "For the first time in forever!~ There'll be music, there'll be liiiiight!~" Anna sang as she stood out looking over the horizon. "For the first time in forever!~ I'll be dancing through the niiiiiiight!~"
Then Anna was walking through the open fields of the castle gardens fighting the nervousness of her excitement as she expressed. "Don't know if I'm elated or gassy~ But I'm somewhere in that zone!~" she sang.
Then she skipped over to some yellow ducklings following their mama duck out of the pawn.
"Cause for the first time in foreveeeer!~ won't be alone~" Anna sang beautifully as she held up three baby ducks in her hand and spoke to them.
"I can't wait to meet everyone!" Anna beamed before gasping, "Oh, what if I meet the one?"
Then Anna ran back in and passed all the food tables as she imagined what it would be like to meet the right guy.
"Tonight, imagine me, gown and all~ Fetchingly draped against the wall!~ The picture of sophisticated graaaace!~" Anna sang and emphasized a pompous tone as she twists herself in a velvet drape like it's a gown acting like she looks gorgeous before she hit herself with the yearn end. And then noticed the bust of a handsome man. "I suddenly see him standing there~ A beautiful stranger, tall and fair~ I wanna stuff some chocolate in my faaaaace!~" Anna muffled those last words as she literally stuffed her face with Chocolate hors d'oeuvres while she fanned herself. Before she took the bust and danced with it like she's dancing with someone in the ball.
"But then we laugh and talk all evening~ Which is totally bizarre~ Nothing like the life I've led so faaaaaar!~" Anna sanged as she accidentally tossed the bust and it landed on top of one of the cakes.
Then Anna ran into the portrait room. Where her original childhood imaginary friends live. As she sang to each of them. Emphasising what comes next as she interacted with them by mimicking the poses of each lady. From a graceful bow to laying at a picnic with a date. Imagining herself there inside.
"For the first time in forever!~ There'll be magic, there'll be fun~" For the first time in forever!~" I could be noticed by someone!~" Anna sang as she then mimicked and image of dancing in the air or swinging on a fancy tree swing as she bounce in the air from the furniture. "And I know it is totally crazy!~ To dream I'd find romance!~ But for the first time in forever!~ At least I've got a chance~" Anna smiled with hope.
From up in her room, there was Elsa. The oldest daughter. And a very beautiful young woman, tall and slender build, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, thin pink lips, a small nose, with long platinum-blonde hair, and pale skin with a light dusting of freckles.
A trait she shares with her sister Anna, though less prominent.
She was dressed in a green and black dress with a purple cape and thick white gloves, her hair done up in a bun. And an appearance similar to her late mother.
Elsa walked over to the window, trying to remain calm as the moment she's been dreading for some time is about to come to pass.
"Don't let them in~" Elsa sang as she watched the crowd of people walking towards the gates of the Castle. "Don't let them see~"
Elsa walked up to a painting of the previous king.
"Be the good girl you always have to be~" Elsa sang as she took off her gloves and set them on the table in front of her.
"Conceal, don't feel, put on a show~" Elsa sang as she took a candle holder in one hand and a round box in the other.
"Make one wrong move, and everyone will know~" Elsa sang, watching as ice formed on the items she was holding, revealing her powers, concerning her as she put them back on the table.
"But it's only for todaaaaay~" Elsa clenched her hands in front of her.
"It's only for todaaaaay!~" Anna sang as she opened the front doors of the Castle.
"It's agony to waaaaaaaaait~" Elsa sang as she put her gloves back on.
"It's agony to waaaaaaait!~" Anna sang as she ran outside.
Elsa opened her doors.
"Tell the guards to open up!~ The gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate!~" Elsa sang her order hesitantly.
"The gaaaaaaaaaaaaaate!~" Anna sang as the gate finally opened, allowing Anna to step outside as people walked up.
"For the first time in forever!~" Anna sang as she ran into the crowd that moved around her and greeted people.
"Don't let them in, don't let them see~" Elsa sang as she walked past several of her servants.
"I'm getting what I'm dreaming of!~" Anna sang as she ran through the crowd, even ducking underneath a giant cake several men were carrying.
"Be the good girl you always have to be~" Elsa sang as she looked out her window.
"A chance to change my lonely world!~" Anna sang as she stood on the side of the bridge and hung on the side of a lamppost.
"Conceal!~" Elsa sang as she watched the crowd growing in the Castle courtyard from her balcony.
"A chance to find true love!~" Anna sang, still hanging off the lamppost.
"Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know~" Elsa sang as she tried calming herself.
"I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be todaaaaaay!~" Anna jumped down and swung a stranger around briefly before running off again.
"'Cause for the first time in foreveeeeeer!~" Anna sang as she ran down the streets and around some of the empty stalls and "For the first time in foreveeeeer!~"
Anna ran down a set of stairs.
"Nothing's in my waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" Anna sang as she ran down a path by the docks before bumping into something unexpectedly, knocking her down. "Wooa whooa!"
Anna of course was slammed right into the front of a horse. She fell back yelping as she landed in a small wooden boat. It tipped off of the dock and was about to go overboard. But just then, the horse slammed his hoof into the boat and steadied it.
Anna's eyes narrowed, "Hey!" She yelled.
She paused as the rider of the horse smiled apologetically, "I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" He asked frantically.
This man had some very handsome features with a blue and white princely attire. Brown hair brushed needle and sideburns.
"Hey. I-ya, no. No. I'm okay." Anna smiled timidly as he hopped off his horse.
"Are you sure?" He asked with concern.
"Yeah, I just wasn't looking where I was going. But I'm okay. I'm great, actually." Anna admitted.
He sighed in relief as He offered her a hand and their eyes met, "Oh, thank goodness."
After he helped her to her feet, he gave a small bow, "Prince Hans of the Southern Isles." He introduced himself.
"Princess Anna of Arendelle." Anna introduced herself with a curtsey.
Hans's eyes widened, "Princess...? My Lady."
He drops to his knees, head bowed. The horse bows too, curling his hoof up and out of the boat causing the boat to tip. Hans tumbles on top of Anna. "Wooa woop!" They yelped.
Anna smiled sheepishly, "Hi...again."
The horse slams his foot back into the boat to stabilize it. Anna and Hans tumble the other way. Anna lands on top of him. Hans stated, "Oh boy."
"Ha. This is awkward. Not you're awkward, but just because we're..." She laughed nervously as they got back up, "I'm awkward. You're gorgeous. Wait, what?" Anna caught herself.
"I'd like to formally apologize for hitting the Princess of Arendelle with my horse... and for every moment after." Hans said sincerely.
"No! No! No! It's fine." Anna reassured him, "I'm not THAT Princess. I mean, if you'd hit my sister Elsa, that would be- yeash! Cuz, you know..." Anna emphasized before she stepped up and greeted the horse while petting it. "Hello."
The horse neighed in response before she turned back to Hans.
"But, lucky you, it's... it's just me." Anna smiled sheepishly.
"Just you?" Hans smiled, showing he was amused.
And they both shared a smile as if this meeting was meant to happen...Maybe. Isn't this a little too fast?
Just then she heard the ships docking in. "Oh! The ones I invited! Our family from Corona- I mean my family! Uh Elsa and my relatives, I mean. I-I-I better go. I have to...I better go."Anna sheepishly excused herself. "Uh bye!"
Then as Anna hurried off to meet with the guests. Hans waved back to her and unfortunately. So did his horse. With the hoof he was using to support the boat he was standing on.
"Oh no." Hans muttered. Then the boat fell over with Hans in it. It landed upside down in the water. But Hans rose up from underneath, gasping for air before he smiled once more at Anna's direction.
He seems like a nice guy...moving on.
Meanwhile at the docks of Arendelle...
Just then. Rapunzel and her friends and family were stepping off of the ship and onto the docks. And Orion was listening to some music on his gummi phone. With was the song Baby It's Cold Outside by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble.
"Is it just me? Or does this neighborhood look familiar?" Orion inquired to himself as he looked around.
People who saw the very first Maverick story ever written know why.
"So Coronation starts in five minutes. Got somewhere to be, now would be a good time to reschedule and if you need to take a tinkle. Now would be a good time cause I don't wanna hear no and then later you have to go!" Lance announced to the group.
"Oooooh this is gonna be awesome! I can't wait to meet Anna and Elsa." Rapunzel said excitedly. "I wonder what they'll be like. I hope they're really nice."
"If they're related to you. And if we know anything about Disney corporate iteration. Much like the next five to six golden girl icons of the house of mouse after you." Orion broke the fourth wall before he stated. "One of them will more than likely be just like you."
"Kid. Don't try to scare me or jinx us with that possibility." Eugene warned.
"Oh hey! Sorry! Are you coming from Corona because I'm looking for some people!" Anna's voice echoed from behind the ship crew that was straight ahead.
"You just jinxed us." Eugene deadpanned.
"God did that for me when she was born, Goatee." Orion jested back.
Just then the crowd cleared and Rapunzel recognized her cousin from the portrait back home.
"That's her?" Friday asked.
"It's Anna..." Rapunzel said in awe and excitement. "Oh my God, it is Anna! From the portrait but older! What are the odds!?"
"I'm just thinking of the song that just went off, the one that made people think this film was Wicked." Orion figured as he broke the fourth wall again.
Just then Anna quickly walked up as she saw them. "Oh hi! You people wouldn't happen to be from Corooon- Where are your shoes?" Anna greeted and looked down with an awkward smile.
"It's against her religion." Orion snickered.
"I prefer going barefoot when I can." Rapunzel said with a shrug before smiling brightly. "Hi, I'm Rapunzel. I'm your cousin."
"Rapunzel?" Anna gasped, having heard the stories about Rapunzel being stolen as a baby before being found years later. "It really is you! Oh my God I've always wanted to meet you! I'm Anna, cousin!"
"I know! I mean yeah! I'm your cousin too!" Rapunzel beamed.
"It's worse than we thought." Lance muttered in shock.
Both girls squealed happily before embracing in a tight hug, spinning around excitedly before separating.
"This is amazing!" Anna exclaimed.
"What do we do!?" Rapunzel asked excitedly.
"What do we talk about!?" Anna asked enthusiastically.
"What sort of fun can we have!?" Rapunzel asked, getting even more excited.
"I'm so excited I could just die!" Anna squealed loudly with Rapunzel squealing as well before the two started hugging again.
"EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK!"
Pascal squeaked as he covered his ears and winced painfully from their pitched ear piercing voices.
Orion and Friday covered their ears along with Eugene, Cassandra and Lance as they winced. Even Maximus and Fidella both winced as they got off the ship.
But Orion made sure to cover Varian's ears with neon noise canceling earmuffs before the squealing started.
"How does it hurt worse when we're outside?!" Orion called out among the high pitched squeals.
"What?!" Friday answered as she couldn't hear.
"Ooh, Anna. There's some family and friends I want you to meet!" Rapunzel beamed before dragging Anna in front of Orion and Friday. "Anna, this is my adopted brother, Orion Forge, and his wife and my Thunder Sis, Friday."
"Hi. It's so nice to meet you both." Anna said excitedly.
"Yo! Nice to meet you too, my eardrums have been murdered." Orion calmly greeted as he rubbed his ears.
"It's a pleasure." Friday smiled as she did the same. While holding little Varian.
It's a good thing his ears were covered.
"And right here is Pascal, my best friend since childhood." Rapunzel said, gesturing to the Chameleon on her shoulder.
Pascal just gave subtle *Sup.* nod.
"Aww, you're so cute." Anna gushed and stroked Pascal's chin with her finger which made him purr a bit..
"And in Friday's arms is our little brother, Varian." Rapunzel said.
"Oh my gosh, he's so adorable." Anna gushed at Varian and tickled his cheeks and neck a bit, making him giggle.
"Hehehehe!" Varian who giggled and then started reaching for Anna with his baby hands.
"Heads up, Zel. You've got competition." Orion smirked.
"Oh come on. Can you blame me for being all Gaga?" Anna asked as she took Varian into her arms. "I wish I had a younger sibling to spoil."
"He really is a ray of sunshine." Rapunzel agreed.
"Feel free to share." Friday smiled.
"Oh! And these guys are very important. That's Eugene from the story. My boyfriend. And his best friend Lance." Rapunzel introduced her boyfriend and Lance.
"Fitzherbert! Round Table, ahead of today to be exact." Eugene enthusiastically charmed.
"Au shan te." Lance greeted humorously.
"Hello there." Anna amusingly and then she tilted her head. "Have I seen you two before?"
Eugene's eyes widened as he had a flashback.
FLASHBACK!...
Young Eugene in his late teens with Lance were trying to steal a Joan Of Arc painting from Arendelle Castle's portrait room. When they both got knocked in the head by two chocolate hors d'oeuvre plates
*BAM! BAM!*
"OUCH!" Eugene and Lance yelled and ran.
"HELP! GUARDS! BURGLARS! THIEVES! WHATEVER THEY'RE CALLED! HEEELP!" Young Anna yelled in hyperactive terror.
FLASHBACK ENDED...
Eugene gasped briefly and quickly said.
"OH! No no no no no! We never came here. This is our first time." Eugene said while acting casually with a nervous smile.
"It is?" Lance inquired before Eugene kicked his shin. "Ow!"
Anna stared for a moment before smiling.
"Well, it's still nice to meet both of you." Anna said enthusiastically.
"And this is Cassandra. My other best friend. Absolute." Rapunzel introduced Cassandra.
"Nice to meet you, Cassandra." Anna said with a big smile. "I love the blue hair. Is that natural?"
"You can say that, yes." Cassandra said with a friendly smile. "It's nice to meet you too, Anna."
Good thing Orion was using a human skin mod to hide his red skin. Friday was wearing hers to hide the Skrull skin.
"And these two are Maximus and Fidella. These two, especially Max here, are total town heroes back home." Rapunzel introduced the horses as Max winked at Anna.
"Hehehe. They sure read it." Anna mused as she stroked the horse's neck, and Fidella's.
"By the way, where's my other cousin Elsa? Is she excited to meet us?" Rapunzel asked with anticipation.
Anna wasn't sure how to answer considering that Elsa shuts everyone out. But before she could answer. The bells from the chapel began to ring. Signaling that the Coronation is about to begin.
"Oh it's time! Follow me, Everyone. I'll show you to your seats." Anna ushered for Rapunzel and the others to follow her.
"Okay. Lead the way, Anna." Rapunzel said as she followed after her cousin.
And everyone else was following Anna towards the castle. Where the Chapel was located. Where they will meet Princess Elsa.
Soon to be Queen Elsa.
Inside the Castle Chapel...
Anna showed everyone where they would sit. Up front. To see the procedure of Elsa's Coronation. And after Anna handed Varian who was asleep back to Friday.
They saw as the choir began to chant from the balcony of the altar.
"VerΓ°ug drΓ³ttning stΓ³r~ Hjarta af gulli skΓna~ Kronum ΓΎik med vΓ‘num, Γ‘st ok trΓΊ~ Fagra, grΓ½ttur land, heimr Γrnadalr~ FylgiΓ° drΓ³ttningu ljΓ³ssins." The choir sang.
As everyone was seated. Rapunzel and Cassandra looked over at the front entrance behind. Rapunzel and Cassandra sat near the end of the front row so Rapunzel had a front row view of everything. With Cassandra behind her.
"I bet Elsa will look extremely beautiful once she walks in. The older ones always do." Rapunzel whispered in excitement.
"Take it easy Raps. Let's not get too excitedβ¦..About..." Cassandra almost eased before the doors. Opened and they saw Elsa walk in.
Elsa walked in keeping herself poised and her head looking forward. While keeping her fear at bay as she held her hands together. Everyone saw her and thought she was gorgeous. Anna was glad to see her as she stood at the altar by the Bishop.
But for Cassandra. She stared in awe as it felt like time stopped seeing her.

Elsa turned as she looked curious. At first Cassandra thought it was her and she looked at but she looked straight and acted casual, trying not to look at the soon-to-be Queen for too long. But Elsa was really wondering if she heard the faint sound of music.
"Oh shi-" Orion quietly hissed as he silenced his phone. While silently thanking God no one heard that.
"Hey Cass. Are you okay?" Rapunzel asked as she noticed something off about her friend before noticing her cheeks tinted red. "Wait... Are you blushing?"
"No I'm just...hard focused is all." Cassandra tried to excuse.
Orion noticed as well. And he sat down as he stifled a snickered and smirked. He already figured out what was going on inside Cassandra's head.
Meanwhile up at the altar. After Elsa was given her crown. The Bishop presented the ceremonial orb and scepter on a presentation pillow. And as Elsa was to take them. The Bishop clearer his throat getting Elsa's attention. And she looked.
"Your Majesty, the gloves." The Bishop said quietly.
Elsa looked down at her hands with an unreadable expression to hide her concern. She didn't want to risk exposing herself. But she had to comply. She took off her gloves and laid them on the pillow. And then she hesitated but took a quiet breath and with shaky hands. She held the orb and scepter and turned to face the people. As the Bishop spoke the blessing in their ancient native tongue.
"Sem hon heldr inum helgum eignum ok krΓ½nd Γ ΓΎessum helga staΓ° ek tΓ© fram fyrir yΓ°r ..." The Bishop recited as everyone stood.
But as this was going on. Elsa looked worried and the only one that noticed was Orion who gave a subtle curious look and he saw the bit of frost build around her hands.
'And here I thought the gloves were just for keeping Covid off her hands.' Orion thought to himself.
"Queen Elsa Of Arendelle." The Bishop declared
"Queen Elsa Of Arendelle!" The audience that stood before her declared as there was a clapping that followed.
Elsa should be proud to stand with the title. But all the young queen hoped was for this day to be over soon so she could end soon.
Or risk exposing her power to the world.
Later on at the ballroom...
There was celtic music playing from a band as the ball was filled with dancing. Red curtains. Men dressed in navy blue suits and uniforms and women wearing dresses of pink. Blue or green dresses as they danced with a partner in united rows with a spin.
And as the dancing concluded temporarily. Everyone looked to the front platform of the ballroom where a fancy celtic wood carved throne room adorned with decor and gems stood under a red carpet and behind a red curtain. Kai, the Overseer of the Castle presented the Queen herself. Sho walked in casually.
"Queen Elsa Of Arendelle." Kai spoke up as everyone gave a bow. Then he presented the Queen's sister. "Princess Anna of Arendelle."
Anna ran over as she was not exactly poised with protocol like her sister, but Elsa nor anyone else seemed to mind. As she waved at Rapunzel who waved back.
But Kai cleared his throat and guided Anna to stand next to Elsa. "Oh over here? Are you sure? I don't think I'm supposed to- oh!" Anna babbled as she was led to stand directly next to Elsa. Which tensed her up nervously. She's never been close to her older sister in years. But Elsa seemed calm.
As everyone applauded. The sisters stood as Anna wasn't sure what to say to Elsa. She hasn't been able to speak to her directly in years. It's usually behind a closed door. And whenever she gets a response, even as a child it's a 'Go away Anna' or 'Not now Anna' or 'Leave me alone'.
This was the first time they ever spoke since they were children.
"Hi." Elsa greeted Anna with a calm and warm smile.
"Oh. Hi...hi me? Oh um...Hi." Anna greeted back.
"You look beautiful." Elsa said warmly to her little sister.
"Thank you. You look beautifuller. I mean, not fuller. You don't look fuller, but more...more beautiful." Anna praddled which made Elsa smile.
"Thank you." Elsa nodded as they looked at the party and saw everyone dancing. "So, this is what a party looks like?"
"It's warmer than I thought." Anna remarked.
"And what is that amazing smell?" Elsa said as she perked up.
Both sisters inhaled and smelled their favorite treat.
"Chocolate..." Elsa and Anna both gushed at the same time and chuckled together.
But just as Anna felt comfortable enough to speak with Elsa. Seeing how at ease she is. Kai came up with a guest.
"Your Majesty. The Duke of Weaseltown." Kai presented.
"Weselton!" The Duke corrected with a glare before he smiled at the sisters. "The Duke of Weselton. Your Majesty. As your closest partner in trade, it seems only fitting that I offer you your first dance as Queen."
Then the Duke does a little fiddle with his feet as example, then as he bows his head and holds out his hand out, his toupe tips forward showing how bald he is, which made both Anna and Elsa giggle, then Elsa clears her throat as she speaks.
"Uh...thank you, only I don't dance." Elsa revealed politely.
"Oh." The Duke looked a little surprised.
"But my sister does." Elsa added.
Anna laughed a little, thinking Elsa was joking. But then she realized what Elsa had offered.
"What?" Anna looked surprised.
"Lucky you." The Duke grinned as
"Oh, I don't think..." Anna tried to protest.
Then the Duke yanked Anna onto the dance floor, "If you swoon, let me know. I'll catch you."
As Anna looks at Elsa in desperation, who smiled as she silently told her, "Sorry."
Then on the dance floor. Everyone danced with professional grace. Even Eugene and Rapunzel were in the group as they looked at the Duke weirdly.
The Duke was trying to showboat, he may be a gentleman. He just plain sucks at dancing. Anna tried to make the best of it though.
On the dance floor, Anna stood as the Duke danced around her, showing off as if he was a peacock for some reason.
"Like an agile peacock. CLUCK-CLUGGLE!" The Duke emphasized while he accidentally stepped on her foot as he danced around her. And spoke. "Speaking of, it's so great to have the gates open. Why did they shut them in the first place? Do you know the reason? Hmm?" He asked as He gets in her face.
As if to pry some deep dark secrets. Maybe about some treasure or a legend he heard a rumor of.
"No." Anna answered awkwardly.
"Oh. Alright. Hang on." The Duke does a dip as Anna goes backwards on her back. "They don't call me "the little dipper" for nothing!"
Anna noticed Elsa giggled with her hand to her lips. As Anna had a smile back at her face that read 'You did this!'
"Like a chicken! with the face of a monkey! I fly!" The Duke danced around as he emphasized a Chicken and Monkey which gained some stares from the dancers.
MAKE IT STOP!
"Either he's dancing or trying to get thrown in a zoo." Eugene muttered at the awkward moment as he and Rapunzel followed the dance much better.
But then a castle guard came up to the Duke.
"Sir Duke. There's a chariot out back that's parked awkwardly under another with a front door that reads 'Am I tall enough for the rides yet?'
"Oh my word, that's mine!" The Duke gasped in alarm. "Pardon me!"
And as the Duke hurried out. The guard walked off holding in a snicker as he had Friday's red skrull eyes. Because the guard was really Friday.
And she walked by Orion who had a drink glass in his hand. Orion made sure he was wearing a red fancy gentlemen suit.
"Good job getting Duke Shortstack out of here." Orion whispered.
"Had to be done." Friday whispered back as she went into a corner and shape shifted back while no one was looking. As she was wearing a blue dress to match the other ladies. With her skin to hide her blue skin.
Then Anna walked back to her sister while regaining her footing.
"Well he was sprightly." The Queen chuckled a bit.
"Ugh. Especially for a man in heels." Anna groaned as she rubbed her feet.
"Are you okay?" Elsa asked.
"I've never been better." Anna said with a bright smile.
Then she saw Rapunzel and Eugene coming up along with Cassandra who was standing beside them.
"Oh! I almost forgot. Elsa, this is Eugene Fitzherbert and Princess Rapunzel of Corona." Anna introduced properly and leaned in to whisper enthusiastically. "Our cousin."
"Rapunzel." Elsa muttered in surprise before giving a warm. "It's nice to meet you. And I'm glad you were finally found after all these years."
"Oooh me too! The moment I stepped out of the tower and met my parents was easily the best moment of my life. Or at least one of them." Rapunzel beamed as she gave Elsa a hug but Elsa faltered as she didn't hug back. For fear of letting her feelings cause her to freeze.
Orion noticed. But he kept it to himself and decided to be friendly. Even though he was wearing shades with his suit.
"Oh and this is my adopted brother. Ryan. Orion Forge. The CEO of a major corporation called Multicorp." Rapunzel introduced Orion with a smile.
"α·α±αααα α©α’αααΎ αα ααΊα α α±ααααΎ αΊαααα." Orion greeted in the Nordic. "Which is how your great grandmother said Hi."
What he really said was 'Greetings Queen of the Frozen hills.'
Which actually impressed Elsa, even if she wasn't expecting it.
"Oh. Well. It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I've read much about you from the letters I've received." Elsa said with a friendly smile. "I must say, I'm impressed with how fluent you are in old Nordic."
"Yeah. It was flawless. You even had the accent and everything." Anna said as she looked impressed too.
"If they were meeting the fans at Disney World instead of me. Things would go extreme on both ends." Orion said while looking at the Readers.
"And this is Friday, his wife." Rapunzel gestured at Friday, while she gently took Varian from her arms. "And little bit here is Varian, the youngest sibling. Say hi Varian."
"Hi Vawan." Varian chimed.
"Awww! Isn't he just so cute!?" Anna gushed.
"Yes. He really is." Elsa said softly with a warm smile.
"And it only gets better. This is Eugene. My boyfriend. The one who rescued me from the tower." Rapunzel introduced Eugene.
"Right, after I snuck in trying to get away from the fuzz and nearly dying from a concussion after a certain royal blonde ambition knocked me with a frying pan. And blackmailing me into a road trip which ended with a dance, boat ride, a jail break, and then resurrection!" Eugene joked as he emphasized. "And a kiss."
"That last part eliminated anyone calling him Jesus." Orion quipped from behind, making Eugene frown humorously.
"Well, he certainly was my savior that day." Rapunzel said dreamy like.
"I must say, you've certainly found yourself an interesting boyfriend." Elsa said with a sheepish smile.
"I'll say. You two look so adorable." Anna crooned sweetly.
"And also that's his best friend Lance." Rapunzel introduced.
"Sup." Lance winked.
"My childhood bud, Pascal." Rapunzel gestured at the little chameleon that gave a graceful bow.
"Squeak." Pascal bowed to royalty which made Elsa and Anna giggle a bit.
"And this right here is my best friend. Cassandra. Her father's the Captain of the Guard back home, as you can tell by her uniform."
"Uh this isn't what I normally wear. I just needed to represent Raps here. And I'm not much of a dress person." Cassandra quickly added to avoid looking awkward for being the only lady not wearing a dress at the ball. While looking calm.
"It's fine. We welcome anyone who's on duty. Right Elsa?" Anna said and looked at her sister. Who was staring back at Cassandra briefly.
Elsa looked at Cassandra almost the same way as Cassandra looked at her earlier.
Orion noticed as time slowed down and played a song in his ear piece while smirking at the readers.

Orion looked at the Readers with a serious smirk as he made scissors gestures with both hands and locked them together, and made them ride. Which was an innuendo.
"Elsa?" Anna called as she waved her hand. "Yoo hoo! Earth to big Sis!"
"Huh?" Elsa muttered as she came back to reality. "Oh yes. It's nice to meet you, Cassandra."
"L-likewise, your highness." Cassandra smiled with a slight stutter.
Eugene looked at both of them confusedly before Friday caught on and whispered in his ear. Before his eyes widened and he stifled a laugh. He realized what was happening. But Rapunzel still looked confused.
"Anyway. I hope this isn't a bad time, but some of my investors who live here are hoping to open a commercial somewhere in town. Would you mind if I excuse myself and speak with one of them?" Orion asked. Talking like a businessman as usual.
"By all means." Elsa nodded.
"Great. Zel if you could give me a hand?" Orion asked.
"Sure." Rapunzel shrugged as she followed her brother.
"I better get going too. This munchkin was reaching too much for the dessert tray." Friday mused as she carried Varian while walking off.
"I'm looking at the caviar." Lance quickly excused himself.
"Right behind you!" Eugene excused himself.
"Great...Throw me under a cold pillow." Cassandra muttered to herself. Then she cleared her throat. "So. How does it feel to become queen today?"
"It's... Quite the first experience." Elsa said hesitantly. "I knew I would someday become Queen for a while. But it's still quite a thing to process."
"Well Rapunzel had a brief time becoming Queen at one point. When her parents were on their anniversary. Though I doubt you'll struggle as hard as she will." Cassandra said as Anna looked back and forth and grinned knowingly as she subtly stood back.
Meanwhile Rapunzel and Orion went over to the punch bowl to get a drink.
"Does Cass look a little...off to you? Not in the angry dark side kinda way. But she's been looking like she's sick." Rapunzel said curiously as she looked back at Elsa and Cassandra talking.
"Oh she's not sick. She's just got bit." Orion smirked.
"Bit? Bit by what!?" Rapunzel looked concerned.
"Come on. Zel. Isn't the Arcane plot obvious?" Orion pointed out as he pointed at Elsa and Cassandra and made a heart shape with his hands With the word 'Crushed' in the middle written in neon letters.
Rapunzel's eyes slowly widened as realization took.
"Oh... Oh! OHH!" Rapunzel Squealed as a big smile appeared on her face. "You mean she and her?! Oh my Gosh! Oh my God! Oh my Gosh!"
"I couldn't have been the only one who saw the furnace glowing on Cass' cheeks earlier, right?" Orion said as Rapunzel covered her mouth as she was taking it in.
"I noticed her blushing earlier! But I thought she was just warm! I didn't think she was crushing on Elsa!" Rapunzel gushed excitedly.
"Well there's a little more. I got something to show you. If you can follow me." Orion gestured and Rapunzel followed as she still covered her mouth looking back and squealing deep down as Pascal patted her neck to help calm her down.
"And so I turned down the royal guard of Ingvarr afterwards and ever since. Me and Rapunzel have been best friends. We've had our rough patches here and there, really serious ones. But we both came to terms. I came to terms with things. Especially finding out my Mother was the one who took Rapunzel away and left me behind." Cassandra told her story to Elsa. But left a good chunk of the magic stuff out. Like her betrayal. The Guardians. The Moonstone incident.
Cassandra didn't even tell Elsa about Orion being the Maverick. She figured it was best to reveal that later.
"That is quite the tale." Elsa said in awe. "I'm sorry your mother did that to the both of you. But I'm glad you and Rapunzel worked things out. It really shows just how strong you are."
"Thank you. That means a lot." Cassandra smiled and Elsa smiled back. Before a silent moment between them passed and Cassandra cleared her throat. "I...Think I hear Raps calling me. So...Talk to you later?"
"Of course." Elsa smiled warmly.
And then Cassandra excused herself. She fixed a strand of her own raven hair. Smiling to herself. While Elsa smiled watching her leave.
"Is your face glowing by any chance?" Anna asked as she walked up to Elsa with a smirk.
"What?" Elsa blushed even more even though she tried to hide it. "No, of course not. It's probably just hot in here."
"Hehehe. Of course." Anna mused as she decided to let it go for now. As they both admired the music and dancing. And watching everyone happy together.
Especially meeting new people.
"Are you okay?" Elsa asked.
"Of course. I've never been better." Anna smiled brightly as she expressed. "I wish it could be like this all the time."
"Me too." Elsa said with a small smile before it became a frown before looking away. "But it can't."
"Why not?" Anna asked desperately. "I mean-"
"It just can't!" Elsa snapped lightly with a sad look, and she turned away from Anna. While feeling guilty. Elsa wanted nothing more than to tell Anna why, and reconcile. Even change their lives to this.
But Elsa couldn't. Not with the danger that lurks in her. Anna looked down sadly.
"Excuse me for a minute." Anna muttered before walking away into the crowd with a sad expression, Else looking after her with a look of regret.
As Anna walked off feeling like her chance to truly reconnect with her sister. Just as she was connecting with the rest of the family. It was starting to feel hopeless again. And she didn't want to give up. Not after the thrilling morning she had.
But what else could she do?
Just as Anna was making her way through the crowd of guests. One of the guests bumped into her by accident. "Whoaoop!" She yelped.
And before she could hit the floor, Hans was there to catch her with one hand. And he smiled at her, "Glad I caught you." He mused.
"Hans." Anna beamed happily.
And as Anna's sadness vanished for this one moment of comfort. Hans smoothly set his drink down on a passing tray. And he lifted Anna up and leads her over for a romantic dance.
And they spent time together to get more acquainted. Seeing how she can't with her sister, Anna will with a man who's offer is interest with her.
It may not be what helps completely. But it's something she needs. Or at least that's how Anna felt.
Meanwhile in the hall outside...
Orion made sure he and Rapunzel was alone. Before he turned to her as she was finishing a piece of chocolate.
"Alright. I've got something interesting to show you." Orion said to her.
"Mmhmβ¦. Gosh this chocolate is heavenly." Rapunzel said as she enjoyed her chocolate before realizing Orion had just spoken to her. "Oh right. Sorry. What did you want to show me?"
"Yeah. One thing to know about me. I said my ring to record everything I see. And archive anything I saw. And what I saw. Besides the obvious incoming crush cruise Cass is about to ride. Is that Elsa was acting just a bit on edge during the ritual. And I saw something when she was holding that orb and rod." Orion said as he was typing on his gummi phone. "Or was it a scepter?"
"It was a scepter, Genius." Rapunzel smirked good-naturedly with a giggle. "But anyway, what did you see?"
Orion pulled up a hologram on the display mod of his phone and showed a video of Elsa's Coronation. The part where the Bishop said the blessing and Elsa was holding the scepter and rod. From Orion's view of where he was sitting.
"Right when the blessing concluded. Did you notice how anxious she was to put her gloves back on?" Orion said as he pointed at that part.
"Yeah, I did. I just thought it was because she has mysophobia, or germophobia. Whatever word you want to use." Rapunzel said her opinion on the matter. "Why? Did you see something else?"
"Something like this reminded me of Rogue's gloves. Cause take a close look at the hands when the blessing was nearly concluded." Orion pointed as he resumed the video.
Orion zoomed in on her hands at an exact point of when the blessing concluded. Both he and Rapunzel saw some frost building up around her hands. And it nearly incased the scepter and orb.
"They're freezing..." Rapunzel gasped in surprise and excitement. "She has ice powers? She has control over ice? Does this mean she's a mutant or Enhanced?"
'No. It's magic.' PRO said.
'***k you!' TEC exclaimed a quote from David Sleaze.
"That wasn't any kind of X-Gene. I scanned the Orb and scepter. The readings on the cold had a trace of magic that's not on record. But there is one possibility." Orion said as he looked at Rapunzel. "Zel. I think your cousin is the Snow Queen."
"The Snow Queen?" Rapunzel asked in confusion.
"Think about it. You were based on a famous fairy tale. With the mix of a hidden Marvel Easter Egg For the convenience of this fanfic . But it's possible for one world to share two different famous books. The Snow Queen. Written by Hans Christian Anderson. About the story of two children whose world was covered in a never ending winter, like the Ice Age or something. And they both journey to see the Snow Queen in a journey of discovery and discover what her reasons are for being cold and uncaring. And how to stop the winter." Orion explained. "Trish told me all about that book."
"But that doesn't make sense. Elsa isn't cold or uncaring." Rapunzel rebuked. "In fact, she actually seems nervous or scared to be around people, as if she's afraid she might hurt them."
"Except the true story can be different from the books. Think about it. Your story is different from the book. And so was Ariel's story near the ending. And even Hercules was way different from his legends. His Copy N Paste Superman plot didn't have the dark story of him being Zeus' bastard son who killed his own kids and dedicating his life to multiple trials of heroism." Orion made some examples.
"Yeah, that's true." Rapunzel said in agreement. "Do you think this is the reason they've isolated themselves from the outside world for the last thirteen years?"
"Well you did mention that they locked the gates, retired some of their staff and stopped sending out replies in the mailbox. She may not be a mutant, but this sounds a lot like the kind of plot you give to one." Orion pointed out.
How many X-Men characters grew up in isolation before being discovered?
"But it's just so sad." Rapunzel said with a somber tone. "Why didn't my Aunt and Uncle reach out to Mom and Dad? If anything, they would have already been at least supportive."
"I don't know. But I think we should talk to Elsa about this. But not now. Not while the party is still going on." Orion suggested.
"Yeah, that's a good point. We wouldn't want to risk causing a panic if her magic starts acting up." Rapunzel said with a nod. "We should probably wait until all the guests are gone to talk with her."
Orion couldn't agree more. If he and Yozora had a way to help so many people like Elsa. They can definitely help with this. Especially Cassandra once she hears about this story.
Meanwhile out in the castle gardens...
Anna was with Hans out in the gardens by a balcony behind the castle as she and the Southern Isle Prince were chatting and laughing. They spent all evening getting to know each other.
"Yeah! The whole thing! You got it." Anna shared a laugh with him. "Okay. Wait, wait. So you have how many brothers?"
"Twelve older brothers. Three of them pretended I was invisible... literally... for two years." Hans emphasized.
Anna shook her head, "That's horrible." She crooned.
Hans just shrugged it off, "It's what brothers do." He replied.
"...And sisters. Elsa and I were really close when we were little. But then, one day she just shut me out, and I never knew why." Anna said as she looked down at the last part.
For thirteen years, Anna lived in confusion. Wondering why on Earth she was left alone. By her best buddy, her big sister. For the first five years of her life she and Elsa were together. And then...it ended.
And Anna always wondered why.
Hans took her hand gently and leaned in. "I would never shut you out." Hans gently said.
Anna and Hans smiled at each other until Anna felt the need to ask. Just as the power or Fantasia took effect.
"Okay, can I just say something crazy?" Anna asked brightly.
"I love crazy." Hans nodded with a bright expression.
And then they began to sing a duet.
"All my life has been a series of doors in my face~" Anna sang as she closed the balcony doors harshly. "And then suddenly I bump into you~"
"I was thinking the same thing, because like..." Hans said as he stood up before he started singing.
"I've been searching my whole life to find my own place.~" Hans said gesturing to the Kingdom before walking up to Anna. "And maybe it's the party talking, or the chocolate fondue~" Hans tweaked Anna's nose, making her laugh.
"But with yooooou!~" Anna sang.
"But with yooooou~ I found my place~" Hans sang as he and Anna circled each other.
"I see your face~" Anna sang as they jumped onto the table together.
"And it's nothing like I've ever known before!~" Both sang as they jumped onto the next balcony before they magically opened the door to enter another balcony. "Love is an open dooooooooooooor!~"
"Love is an open doooooooooor!~" Anna sang as she and Hans danced together.
"Doooooooooooooooor!~" Hans spun Anna around.
Next, they slid across the hallway in their socks while holding hands.
"Love is an open door.~" They sang as they slid.
"With you!~" Anna sang.
"With you!~" Hans sang.
"With you!~" Anna sang.
"With you!~" Hans sang.
"Love is an open door~" Both sang as a guard opened a door before they hid behind the door across the hallway, laughing joyfully before running off.
Then they climbed up and sat on the castle roof and watched a shooting star pass over the sky. And the song continued.
"I mean it's crazy.~" Hans sang.
"What?~" Anna asked.
"We finish each others...~" Hans sang.
"Sandwiches!~" Anna sang before she started climbing down from the roof.
"That's what I was gonna say!" Hans beamed before following.
Uh huh. Sure. Anywayβ¦Next they were both walking along a bridge ledge while singing.
"I've never met someone...~" Anna sang.
"Who thinks so much like me~" Both Anna and Hans sang at the same time before they turned and held each other's little finger. "Jinx! Jinx again!"
The song then magically transitioned over to the clock tower as they started dancing like robots to imitate the mechanical figures on the clock tower, which led to the beginning of the robot dance for that world. That of course is if Maverick hasn't introduced it yet.
"Our mental synchronization can have but one explanation.~" Both Anna and Hans sang and danced as two mechanical figures came out and danced.
"You...~" Hans sang.
"And I...~" Anna sang.
"Were...~" Hans sang.
"Just meant to be.~" Both Anna and Hans sang as they took each other's hands and started dancing on top of a lighthouse. Like in a ballroom as they spun in their dance, as if it's Cinderella and Prince Charming.
"Say goodbyyyyyyyyyyyyyye~" Anna sang.
"Say goodbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye!~" Hans sang.
"To the pain of the past!~ We don't have to feel it anymore!~" Both Anna and Hans sang and danced as the lighthouse cast their shadows over the sails of the docked ships.
Next thing you know, they're playing hide and seek with the stable doors.
"Love is an open doooooooooooooooooooor!~" Both of them sang and harmonized and modulated to the song, as Anna opened one stable door before closing it quickly as Hans tried catching her, only for her to open another.
"Love is an open dooooooooooooooooor!~" Both of them, well mostly Anna sang that last note as they climbed to the top of a waterfall.
"Doooooooooooooooor!~" Hans sang a higher note in harmony as they started dancing. For a *Spoiler hidden!* he sure can sing.
"Life can be so much mooooore!~" both sang as they danced.
"With you!~" Anna sang.
"With you!~" Hans sang.
"With you!~" Anna sang.
"With you!~" Hans sang.
"Love is an open, doooooooooor~" Both of them sang as Anna harmonized beautifully and held her hands under the moon and Hans held his above, making a heart shape over the moon.
(If that's not a Kingdom Hearts reference, I don't know what is.)
"Can I say something crazy?" Hans asked as he kneeled and took her hand in his. "Will you marry me?"
Anna gasped in happiness and surprise.
"Can I say something even crazier?" Anna asked with a big smile. "Yes!"

Later on back at the ballroom...
As the guests were enjoying the party. Chatting among themselves after having a good time at the dinner table. Rapunzel was talking with Eugene and Cassandra about what Orion revealed to her. As they stood over by a Corner of the windows. Where no one else could hear them.
"And that's why Ryan and I. All of us need to talk to her after the party." Rapunzel told them.
"Okay! It's official. The word normal does not have any part of your family, Blondie." Eugene quipped lightly as he was taking in the fact that her cousin has ice powers.
"I hope we can help." Cassandra said with a somber look. "No one should have to live like this."
Cassandra would know what it's like to be someone who has to isolate their feelings. She wouldn't want the same thing on Elsa.
"We will help her. Especially you, Cass. Since...Well." Rapunzel said as she slowly formed a smirk.
"Well what?" Cassandra acted confused.
"Oh come on, Cass. Don't think I didn't notice you blushing up a storm earlier." Rapunzel said teasingly, hinting at Cassandra's obvious crush on Elsa.
"No comment." Eugene waved his hands and looked off while stifling a snicker. Which made Cassandra give a deadpanned look
"Raps, you're over exaggerating. She's the Queen of Arendelle. There's probably a law for her to marry royalty." Cassandra said as she denied it.
"They don't actually. I read it on the brochure. Even the Vikings weren't that restrictive." Eugene pointed out with a little wit.
"See, Cass?" Rapunzel said with her suggestive smirk. "This means you and her have a shot."
"Ugh. I swear, Raps. If you weren't my best friend. You here would be on the top of my Keyblade hit list." Cassandra groaned in exasperation which made Rapunzel giggle in amusment.
"Don't mind me. I'm just glad she didn't add me on the list for once." Eugene remarked.
"You're below her." Cassandra deadpanned.
"Kay I don't know if I should be relieved or insulted that I won't be targeted first." Eugene added.
Meanwhile back over with Elsa who was talking with the ambassadors and foreign diplomats, while declining any dance that was offered.
Anna was making her way over to Elsa and going by a lot of the guests while holding Hans hand as he followed.
Friday who was holding Varian, and Orion went over to Rapunzel and the others, as they all noticed from where they were standing.
"Who's that guy with Anna?" Rapunzel inquired when she saw Hans.
"I don't know, but those newborn Mutton chops really don't highlight the eyes." Eugene remarked with a skeptical look. While commenting about Hans' sideburns.
"How do those not itch?" Orion added in agreement.
Just then. Anna went over to Elsa who had finished speaking with one of the nobles. Ready to spill the news that will make this night FUBAR.
"Elsa!" Anna called out, getting her attention before realizing her mistake and gave a brief curtsy. "I mean Queen. Me again. Um. May I present Prince Hans of the Seven Isle."
"Your Majesty." Hans said with a slight bow of respect.
"We would like..." Hans and Anna said together before Anna giggled.
"Uh, your blessing. Of..." Hans started as Anna wrapped her arms around his right arm.
"Our marriage!" Both said simultaneously, making Elsa's eyes widen in shock.
"Marriage?" Elsa repeated the word in confusion.
"Yes!" Anna squealed.
"I'm sorry. I'm confused." Elsa said with narrowed eyes.
We would be too if Cinderella wasn't already a thing. Except she had better reasons.
"Well, we haven't worked out all the details ourselves." Anna admitted giggly. "We'll need a few days to plan the ceremony. Of course we'll have soup, roast, and ice cream. And then..."
Anna gasped excitedly and grabbed at Hans.
"Would we live here?" Anna asked Hans.
Meanwhile, Elsa was befuddled and started to feel overwhelmed.
"Here!?" Elsa asked with wide eyes.
"Absolutely!" Hans beamed happily as he took Anna's hands.
"Anna-" Elsa tried to get Anna's attention but failed.
"Oh! We can invite all twelve of your brothers to stay with us!" Anna exclaimed.
"What!? No no no no no no." Elsa tried again but failed.
"Of course we have the room-" Anna started before Elsa finally got their attention.
"Just wait! Slow down." Elsa said, finally getting their attention. "No one's brothers are staying here. No one is getting married."
"Wait. What?" Anna gasped.
"May I talk to you, please?" Elsa asked Anna. "Alone."
"No. Whatever you have to say, you can say to both of us." Anna replied, standing next to Hans.
"Fine. You can't marry a man you just met." Elsa said with a tired sigh.
"You can if it's true love." Anna argued.
"Anna, what do you know about true love?" Elsa asked.
"More than you." Anna said with narrowed eyes. "All you know is how to shut people out."
Elsa's eyes widened, hurt by her words, but she kept calm.
"You asked for my blessing. But my answer is no." Elsa said firmly. "Now, excuse me."
"Your Majesty." Hans started. "If I may ease you-"
"No, you may not!" Elsa stated firmly. "And I, I think you should go."
Elsa began walking away. As she was ready to conclude the day.
"The party's over. Close the gates." Elsa ordered one of the guards.
"Yes, your Majesty." The guard said, making Anna gasp.
"Heads up, folks. ABC's about to go CW." Orion muttered as he could hear the conversation.
"This is not good. I have a feeling something's about to happen." Rapunzel said with a serious look. "Should we try to step in?"
"I don't think so." Orion figured.
Anna heard Elsa's orders as she was about to walk out. And she intervened. Anna didn't want this day to end back to the way things are. Not after singing about a change happening in her life. Twice!
"What? Elsa, no, no! Wait." Anna called as she tried to stop her from going upstairs to her room, to shut everyone out again.
Including her. Anna reached for her and pulled one of Elsa's gloves off. Which madeElsa turned around and reacted
"Give me my glove!" Elsa insisted as she gripped her exposed hand.
They were the only thing keeping her powers at bay.
Rapunzel looked between the two looking extremely concerned.
Anna shook her head.
"No, Elsa, please, please. I can live like this anymore." Anna pleaded desperately as she was tired of being alone.
Elsa felt it. Elsa wanted so badly to fill in Anna's void. But after the accident. After all these years of hiding her powers. She couldn't.
"Then leave." Elsa replied as she looked heartbroken to say it.
Anna silently gasped as she was fighting tears while Elsa turned to leave.
"Damn." Orion muttered before he received a silent ring from Lucas. But Orion puts it on mute. "Not now."
"Elsa." Cassandra walked over to talk.
"Not right now, Cassandra." Elsa insisted as she was walking out.
Orion got another silent call from Lucas again and he groaned snd answered.
"What is it, Doubled Spiked! We're in the middle of this films first not so subtle plot twist!" Orion whispered loudly.
*"You need to get in gear! The Syndicate sent number 6 to your location!"* Lucas replied with a serious tone.
"Oh...Well shit." Orion's face dropped as he deadpanned.
But before anything else could be said.
"What did I ever do to you!?" Anna cried out.
"Enough, Anna!" Elsa said as she continued walking away and her emotions were starting to go all over the place.
"No! Why!?" Anna asked in desperation. "Why do you shut me out!? Why do you shut the world out!? What are you so afraid of!?"
"I SAID ENOUGH!" Elsa snapped back with a wave of her hand, accidentally releasing her ice magic, causing a wall of sharp ice spikes to appear, startling almost everyone in the room while separating them from Elsa, who now looked shocked and scared that her secret was revealed.
"Oh no." Rapunzel said with concern at how things are playing out.
"Yeah, this is exactly how I figured this was gonna go." Eugene muttered.
"I think things are about to get worse." Cassandra muttered.
Meanwhile, Orion and Friday shared a glance, thinking the same thing. The shit has just hit the fan.
"Oooh!" Varian looked in awe at the ice magic, not at all scared.
"Sorcery." The Duke of Weselton muttered. "I knew there was something dubious going on here."
"Elsa." Anna gasped in shock with wide eyes looking at her sister who looked absolutely terrified of the situation.
Just then Lance walked in with a plate and a slice of cake on it as he hummed to himself. "Oh hey guys! I didn't know Arendelle had their own A/C!" Lance called over to Eugene from the other end of the ball.
"Bad timing, Bud!" Eugene yelled back.
"Ryan?" Rapunzel whispered insistingly.
"Yeah screw it." Orion sighed deeply as he quickly got behind them and quickly shifted into the Maverick.
Then he teleported away before anyone noticed. And then he appeared over the ice and hovered while using a neon megaphone.
"Alright, Lasses and Lads! Calm your effing nerves, ice is good for the skin! This is just a major youthful discovery going on! You've all been through it in puberty, maybe when one of your friends came out of the closet or found out who they voted for! But let us handle it!" Maverick called out to them.
"What an earth?! What's this creature that's-" The Duke yelled while flabbergasted before his mouth sealed with a neon ballgag.
"That goes double for you, Pickled Herring!" Maverick added with a firm quip.
"Who is that?" One of the guests asked.
"Is that the Maverick?" Another guest asked.
"Who are you?" Elsa asked as she looked afraid.
"It's okay!" Cassandra said as she walked over to reassure her. "You can trust him. He's the Maverick. And he's a friend."
"Wait...I heard of you." Anna's eyes widened.
"You have?" Hans asked looking a little suprised.
"Yeah he was all over the papers." Anna's eyes lit up.
Then Maverick turned to Elsa while hovering.
"I can't explain what I am quickly, unless I have a trading card. But we're here to help." Maverick said to her.
"We?" Elsa asked.
"He's referring to me among others." Cassandra said with a friendly smile. "I'm actually a part of his team. The Guardians of The Unknown."
"We go from place to place. Find threads. Stop 'em or end them if they're too much. But you're not one of those threats. You're not even marketed as a threat. Except for your story's Christmas Story and Transformers amount of product placements." Maverick said as he added in a fourth wall statement.
"I'll take it from here Mav. Elsa, listen..." Cassandra insisted as she was about to speak and with Elsa's attention. While Anna watched.
Just then. The room began to shake a little. Just enough for clinking noises to be here. As the tables shook as well, like a small trimmer. Everyone looked around.
*GLASS SHATTER!*
Just then the windows shattered causing the guests to scream. As troops in black and red special ops uniforms came landing in with assault rifles. Alerting Rapunzel and the others on Maverick's team.
"Halt!" The troops demanded as they pointed at Elsa who looked scared.
But Cassandra narrowed her eyes in anger and she shot black rock spikes at them. Knocking those troops down. And Maverick shot fire balls at them.
"Mmph!" The Duke muffled in terror as he saw Cassandra's power as well.
"Elsa run!" Cassandra warned.
And Elsa wasted no time in running out. Anna looked worried and still in shock. While the Duke finally managed to tear his gag out and followed after Elsa with his guards. He figured go for the easy one, instead of dealing with Cassandra or Maverick, even though he sees them as a threat, which they aren't. And neither is Elsa.
All the while, Cassandra and Maverick were taking down those mysterious troops. That came in. Along with Rapunzel's help who tied a lot of them in her hair and Eugene he knocked some out with Lance's help.
But no one in the main entrance courtyard could hear this commotion.
Outside in the main courtyard...
Elsa, who was terrified as well as confused by the recent events, made a run for it, and came bursting out the door, making her gasp at the crowd in front of her.
"There she is!" Someone in the crowd exclaimed before they all started clapping and cheering.
But Elsa heard someone coming after her behind her, prompting her to keep moving, trying to run into the crowd, only to be surrounded by so many people.
"It is her! Queen Elsa!" One of the people exclaimed with a bow as people kept cheering around her.
But Elsa tried paying that no mind and tried maneuvering around people before stopping in front of a mother holding her baby.
"Your Majesty." The mother greeted with a look of concern. "Are you alright?"
Elsa, feeling overwhelmed, tried backing away before accidentally touching the fountain behind her, causing it and the water to freeze before everyone's eyes, making everyone gasp.
"There she is!" The Duke exclaimed from the door. "Stop her!"
"Please, just stay away, please!" Elsa pleaded as she held up her hands. "Just stay away-"
Once more, Elsa accidentally unleashed her ice magic, freezing the stairs and pushing the Duke and his guards back, startling everyone.
"Monster." The Duke muttered as he tried standing up again, pointing at Elsa. "Monster!"
Elsa looked terrified, and as she looked around her at the people looking at her with fear and hearing babies crying, it broke her heart.
Elsa, in her state of shock and fear, pushed through the crowd and kept running.
Just then more of those Mysterious troops came up from the front entrance ramp. But the Maverick came down and landed on top of them to make them scatter.
"Alright now-" Maverick almost said before has tackled by someone big and crashed through the wall. "Ugh!"
*CRASH!*
A big muscular shirtless, six foot bald man with a green curved line tattooed across his chest came running in and slamming into Maverick. Crashing him through the wall.
This was Blockbuster.
"Your timing is impeccable Blocky the Mattress Giant! And by impeccable I mean COMPLETELY GOD DAMN PECCABLE!" Maverick echoed from the crashed wall.
But Elsa seeing the danger. She couldn't run to the front gates with the fight going on over there. So she ran to the side exit.
Just then, Anna ran outside and stopped at the stairs.
"Elsa!" Anna called out desperately to her sister.
But she did not stop running through the crowd, prompting her to run after with Hans following right behind.
Elsa ran down the stairs and towards the water.
"Elsa!" Anna called out again, making Elsa turn around, fear in her eyes at the thought of facing her sister right now.
But when she took a step back, she heard something freeze, making her look down to see that each step she took was freezing the water.
"Wait! Please!" Anna pleaded as she finally made it to the top of the stairs.
But Elsa just gasped, making her try her luck with taking another step onto the water, causing her ice magic to freeze the water at her touch.
Seeing this, Elsa began running across the water, each step freezing it as she kept running. To get as far away from the castle and the danger as possible. And to keep herself from being a danger. But her stress and powers were already affecting the weather.
"Elsa! Stop!" Anna pleaded as she ran to the edge of the frozen and onto it, causing her to slip slightly and fall to her knees.
"Anna!" Hans exclaimed as he ran to her side to help her up.
"No!" Anna said in despair as Elsa got further away, powerless to stop her.
Then Hans noticed it was not only the ground or the water that Elsa was freezing.
"The Fjord." Hans said in shock as he and Anna looked.
The entire Fjord that surrounds the valley of Arendelle froze from a wave of ice that covered the exterior and interior of the sea in ice. Like a second ice age. And to make matters worse. The weather was starting to feel cold as well.
Elsa inadvertently change the weather.
Just then as Maverick during the fight. Froze underneath the Fjord with Blockbuster. He managed to heat up to 1000 degrees and broke though the ice and hovered up.
And looked around as he was hovering.
"PRO. TEC. What's the temperature?" Maverick asked.
'It's about 47 degrees and dropping.' PRO answered.
'Basically, Flagstaff's version of a night in spring!' TEC quipped
"So basically we're standing in Disney's version of 'The Day After Tomorrow'. Without the divorce dad turned into a hero plot. But I'm sure we'll see some CG wolves later." Maverick remarked a fourth wall joke.
'It's Frozen. Everything's CG.' PRO deadpanned.
Then Maverick made a quick call to the team. "Zel? You and the others need to change into something warm or else your bare toes will turn into Friday's skin tan." He warned his sister and the others.
Meanwhile back over with Anna. As she was walking through the crowd of the main courtyard. She was in complete shock about all of this. Her own sister has magic abilities. And Anna pushed her to reveal herself without realizing. And now the weather is screwed up and she feels responsible.
"Snow?" One person said.
"Snow." Another person said as Anna walked by with her arms around.
"Are you alright?" Hans asked out of concern.
"No." Anna said despondently.
"Did you know?" Hans asked.
"No." Anna said as the two kept walking.
"Look, it's snowing. It's snowing!" The Duke exclaimed to his guards in shock as Anna and Hans got close. "The Queen has cursed land! She must be stopped. You have to go after her."
"Wait! No!" Anna exclaimed, getting the Duke's attention.
"You!" Duke hissed before hiding behind his two guards. "Is there sorcery you too? Are you a monster too!?"
"No! No!" Anna shook her head. "I'm completely ordinary."
"That's right. She is." Hans said while putting in the hand on her shoulder before adding. "In-in the best way.*
Good save, and it made Anna smile.
"And my sister's not a monster." Anna argued with the Duke.
"She nearly killed me!" Duke snapped.
"You slipped on ice." Hans said.
"Her ice!" Duke exclaimed.
Just then the Maverick landed, getting everyone's attention. And Cassandra landed next to him as she was wearing her Paragon helmet and hood.
"I'd say chill out but that would be too soon. All that's happening is the film's plot is picking up to get some resemblance to the book and keep the parents from falling asleep!" Maverick called out while making a fourth wall joke before he looked at Anna and Hans. "I take it this is the first time you saw a glazier come out of your big sis's fingers?"
"Yes I-" Anna tried to speak.
"What's happening here is that Arendelle is doomed! If this is their queen and so are we!" The Duke yelled in protest.
"Hey there, Little Man! Who do you wanna be when you grow up?" Maverick asked with his knees bent down to his height and beamed in a sweet voice like a kindergarten teacher meeting a new student.
"And you! You traveling demons better explain all of this right now or I'll rally the people to burn you all!" Duke glared at the two Guardians and threatened. "Starting with the Princess if need be!"
And Anna looked worried while Maverick looked unamused.
"Mind if I do something mean to the Duke of Hazard? Verbally at least?" Maverick looked at Paragon.
"By all means. Don't hold back." Paragon said, giving him the go ahead.
Maverick nodded as he teleported over and used a Stopga spell to pause everyone around the Duke except for the Duke. And Paragon.
Then he grabbed the Duke by the collar of his vest.
"Woaah!" He yelped as he was lifted up.
"Listen, Needle Dick, I don't give two shits about you being the Duck of Wisconsin, we're here to save lives and save a family. And you need to keep that ass you're using for a mouth shut! And if you don't know how, I'd think twice before making my associate here crack your skull and LOOK FOR THE ANSWER IN SIDE!" Maverick threatened making the Duke look scared. "Have my made myself clear?"
"Uh Y-y-y-yes! Perfectly! I was just fibbling! A joke is all!" Duke stammered and laughed nervously.
Then Maverick sat the Duke back down on his loafers.
And then everyone unfroze from the Stopga spell. And Maverick bent down to meet his gaze like talking to a child.
"Remember Tiny Tim. We see you when your sleeping. We know when you're awake. We know when you've been bad or good." Maverick chimed in a sweet humorous voice while tapping the Duke's nose.
"So be good for goodness sake." Paragon said in a low deadly tone. "And your teeth's sake."
The Duke forced a smile while looking nervous as he nodded fidgetly.
Just then Rapunzel. Eugene and Lance came over wearing their winter attire. Rapunzel's pink winter attire. Eugene's black winter attire. And Lance's red winter attire.
"You know. Their 'Queen for A Day' outfits." Maverick whispered to the Readers.
"How is it that everytime someone goes on vacation in our globe, the whether drops in the triple digits?" Eugene asked despondently while looking around in concern.
"First the parents and now us." Lance muttered in agreement.
Then Rapunzel ran over to Anna and they shared a hug. "Are you okay, Cus? What happened?" She asked.
"I honestly have no idea. One minute I'm arguing with Elsa. The next thing I know, she's shooting ice out of her hands and freezing things all over while running away in terror." Anna muttered in destress.
"You never knew about her powers? I mean I didn't but, you were kept in the dark all these years?" Rapunzel asked while still looking concerned.
"Is this why she shut the castle gates?" Paragon asked.
Which also was the silent and subtle question 'Is this why your sister shut you out'? But no one asked that to not get personal.
"... It has to be." Anna muttered in realization as her eyes widened. "She and our parents must've been worried she would accidentally hurt me or someone else. So she probably isolated herself out of fear."
"Alright so a fear of something like today happening became thirteen years. Got it." Eugene nodded as he quickly looked at Maverick. "Mav. Think you can melt the weather a bit?"
"Well I got something better than diesel. Everyone stand back." Maverick replied.
Everyone around the crowd stood back as Shift came over and stood with the others. And then Maverick knelt down and formed a large orb of fire. And then he shot it high into the sky.
*FIIIIRE!*
Then he erupted a large beam of fire that shot into the sky. Much to the crowd's amazement and the Duke's eyes that narrow in skepticism. While Anna watched in awe.
But as the fire dimmed. The weather did not change as it was still snowing. And Maverick dropped his arms and looked apologetic.
"It's not gonna work. My fire is science based. This is pure magic with no fillers." Maverick said while regaining his breath.
"What about the power of the Sundrop?" Rapunzel asked.
"Zel it may be an Infinity Stone. But The Light Stone is only effective against darkness and there's nothing dark about Elsa. This is just fear with a capital confusion and a lowercase stronghold." Maverick explained. "The only way to stop this weather is the one that caused it."
"So you're saying that Elsa is the only one who can stop this." Anna said in understanding.
"And because of everyone panicking, she's run off to who knows where." Rapunzel said with a frown. "Any other issues we should be aware of right now?"
"I can't exactly track her. With the weather dropping in the digits due to this arcane magic it's coming from. She could be anywhere." Maverick said as he. "Which means we'll have to Bear Grylls this search."
"Huh?" Anna inquired.
"He means we'll have to do this the old fashioned way and look for her on foot." Rapunzel said in explanation. "But what I just don't get is who were those troops that attacked out of nowhere?"
"Does the name Mister Sinister ring any bells?" Maverick asked.
"Seriously?! Mr. Sinister?! What the Hell kind of name is that?!" Eugene asked with bafflement. "What, because the name Dr. Doom was already taken, his next best choice was Mr. Sinister?!"
"Eugene, please." Rapunzel said with a sigh of fond exasperation. "Who's Mr. Sinister?"
"Nathaniel Essex. AKA Mister Sinister who's name in Latin is Mister Baddy Bad Guy. He's a mutate like me, you know a mutant who wasn't born one. But he never wants to go out for beers. He uses his evil genius level intellect to study cloning and all sorts of crap that bad guys do to make armies." Maverick explained witty-like."He's also the boss of the Marauders, total losers who do his evil bidding. Blockbuster back there was one of them."
"So...He's an evil scientist. A and something called a mutant. And...What's cloning?" Anna inquired as she was trying to understand.
"I think it's like making a duplicate of another person. I read books about it." Hans explained.
"What he said. And you are?" Maverick asked.
"Her Fiance." Hans smiled as he and Anna held hands.
"Aaawe!" Rapunzel squealed with a smile.
"Cute." Maverick quickly replied.
"Also Sinister was the sixth member of Syndicate XIII." Shift said to Rapunzel as she showed up.
"What!? He was a member of the Syndicate!?" Rapunzel gasped in shock. "Does this mean Zhan Tiri might be involved somehow?"
"Oh great. That's just what we need right now. A former member of that band of psychos running about causing problems for us when we already have enough to deal with." Paragon said in aggravation.
"Sinister might still be with the she-devil or he's independent again. We're not sure yet, but if he's after Elsa, he may want to experiment on her." Shift stated.
"Which means they're still looking for her." Paragon said ad she balled her fists. "We have to find her."
"I think I may have a way to do that. For you at least. Let me call in the rest of the team." Maverick said as he was about to call in Yozora.
But then suddenly Verum Rex was beamed down and appeared right next to Maverick.
"Holy shit that was fast!" Maverick exclaimed in suprise.
"You're telling me. Either he has super hearing or he's psychic." Rapunzel said in surprise before recovering to smile at her cousin. "Anna, meet Verem Rex, the leader of the Guardians of The Unknown."
"Hi. You look cool. Hehe⦠I'm Princess Anna. Queen Elsa's sister." Anna smiled meekly and enthusiastically as she greeted with a wave.
"I can see that. Nice to meet you." Verum Rex said genuinely with a smile before he addressed the team. "Lucas and Kara told me everything. They're doing their best to see if they can stop the blizzard from the outside. But they could only send me."
"Only you?" Maverick inquired.
"The Mav Club's teleporter and so is the ship's teleporter isn't working in this storm. I couldn't risk sending Hoshi or the others in here either. Especially since Rocket hates water." Verum Rex explained.
"Yeah he'd probably chew my ass off if we brought him near frozen water." Maverick remarked.
Which is what ice technically is.
"Wait wait wait. You said teleporter, both of em, doesn't work here? Which means..." Lance began to realize.
"We're all stuck in this storm. Pretty much. Like The Life of Pi but the Tiger is a snow globe and the boat is this town." Maverick quipped.
Lance quickly latched to Eugene who winced from the big guys' hug. "Hold me." Lance squeaked in terror.
Eugene patted his forearm condescendingly.
"Elsa can end this. I know she can. We're not stuck. We just need to find my sister." Anna insisted.
"And keep her safe from the Marauders." Paragon added as she took her helmet off.
Anna wasn't surprised by who she was since she was wearing the same outfit from earlier. But she and Rapunzel shared a knowing grin. Knowing that she's in love with Elsa.
"I actually have a way for you to do that. But it'll only work on you since you're a Keyblade Master like me." Verum Rex said to Cassandra.
"Really? What is it?" Cassandra immediately asked.
"Can it work for me too?!" Anna asked anxiously.
"Are you a Master keyblader?" Maverick asked.
"No." Anna shook her head.
"Then no. It won't work on me either since I'm independent." Maverick answered and looked at the readers. "Well. That's just lazy writing."
And a reason to not cut the story short! So screw you!
Then Verum Rex gave Cassandra a small blue glass orb. "This is a warp orb. Courtesy of Kara. It'll track the source of the storm and take you straight there. But here's the downside. It's only a one way trip. You can't use it to get back here or with Elsa." Verum Rex explained.
"That doesn't matter to me." Cassandra said with a fire in her eyes. "As long as I can keep Elsa safe, that's all that matters."
Anna was glad to hear that someone so courageous and determined like Cassandra was hellbent on keeping her sister safe. So she went up to her.
"Just promise me two things. And you gotta do it. Princesses orders! One, if Elsa is unaware about the freezing Arendelle. Don't tell her about it. She'll have to hear it from me." Anna firmly said.
And so Elsa doesn't freak out.
"Understood. I won't say a word about it to her." Cassandra said in agreement. "And the other thing?"
"If she's somewhere safe. Make sure she stays until we get there. No no. I don't mean in that prisoner or house arrest kind of a way. But more like babysitting. Uh not that she needs one but-" Anna babbled. And Rapunzel placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Anna. It's okay. Deep breath..." Rapunzel gestured and Anna followed as they inhaled and exhaled. "Wow. So that's what this feels like. Anyway, you can count on Cass. She'll keep your sister and her girlfriend safe until we get there. Right?"
Rapunzel had a teasing smirk hinted when she muttered only the words 'and her girlfriend'. Even Anna stifled a bit of a giggle.
"Raps, you're killing." Cassandra sighed with an eye roll trying not to blush. "Yes. I promise to keep her safe."
Anna smiled and gave Cassandra a hug which made her stagger but she returned it. And as the hug concluded. Cassandra used the warp orb and squeezed it while holding it up. And in a flash of light. She was warped into another location.
Flash of light!*
And just like that. Cassandra was gone.
To wherever Elsa is.
"Alright. Let's go find my sister." Anna said with a determined look and waved at a guard. "Fetch me a horse!"
"No need, Princess. We already have that covered. And first class at that." Eugene said before whistling loudly. "Max! Della! Come on over!"
With that, Anna saw two horses, Maximus and Fidella run up to the group.
The crowd cleared as the two horse galloped up to Rapunzel and Anna. And Fidella knelt down for Anna to get on board. Anna smiled warmly as she got on board. But Hans looked concerned for his 'fiancΓ©'.
"Anna wait. It's too dangerous." Hans said as he held her hand.
"Elsa's not dangerous. I'll bring her back and I'll make this right." Anna assured him with a smile as she was on the horse while holding his hand.
"I'm coming with you." Hans insisted.
"No. I need you here to take care of Arendelle." Anna requested as she received a cloak from Kai the Overseer.
"On my honor." Hans gave a short bow with a warm look.
they shared a smile before the Princess announced to the crowd. "I leave Prince Hans in charge!"
No one had a problem with that since Hans is from an honored royal family.
Then as Rapunzel and Eugene got on Maximus. Maverick and Shift went over.
"It's best that we stay here for now and keep the town warm. And interrogate some of those troops we captured." Shift added.
"Oh oh! I'll stay and watch the gore!" Lance said with excitement and fixed himself and muttered. "I mean. You know. Help out where I can."
"Uh huh." Maverick snorted.
"Go on ahead. And keep the tracker on your online. We'll catch up with you later." Verum Rex said to Rapunzel.
"Seriously Sis. Do not lose or break that phone. That's gonna void the warranty." Maverick insisted.
"Don't worry. I won't." Rapunzel said with a nod. "See you guys soon."
Then on that note. They all rode off on the two horses while the main Guardian members stayed behind to get the town's cold situation under control. The guards already had arrested and locked up the Merauder troops that attacked.
If sinister has anything planned for Elsa, they'll know.
As Eugene was riding Maximus with Rapunzel sitting behind him. Pascal rubbing his arms and shivering. He got under Rapunzel's warm hair and sighed in relief.
Anna was riding Fidella next to them. Rapunzel actually felt a sense of thrill to be riding next to one cousin to save another.
"Your fiance seems charming, despite the questionable facial sideburns! How long have you known each other?!" Eugene asked as they were riding.
"Not long! We only met today!" Anna answered as they went into the woods.
"Oh!" Eugene nodded as they went further in.
And then it dawned on him. They met today. And got engaged.
"WHAT?!" Eugene echoed from in the woods.
Meanwhile up on the North mountain...
Up on the snow mountains high near the peek of Arendelle's sky. With a view of all of the valley down below. Elsa trotted up the snowing back to the top. Because of her ice powers she was able to move fast without breaking a sweat. What normally takes ordinary folks hours or a day to get here, only tool her less than an hour.
But here she was. The Queen of Arendelle. Alone. Without anyone to see her. Or be loved for who she is. And yet. There is a silver lining. Elsa has no one to judge or condemn her. No one who will get hurt because of her. And no more reasons to hide.
And soon. The magic of Fantasia began to cause her to sing.
"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen~" Elsa sang with a tinge of sadness as she walked alone. "A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen~" Elsa stopped walking for a moment before continuing. "The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.~ Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried~" Elsa held herself. "Don't let them in, don't let them see,~ Be the good girl you always have to be.~ Conceal, don't feel, don't let them knooooow.~" she looked at her one gloved hand before suddenly taking it off and throwing it into the air. "Well, now they knooooow!~"
"Let it gooooo! Let it gooooo!~" Elsa sang as she began using her powers. "Can't hold it back anymooooore!~" Elsa then created a snowman (Who we all know is Olaf). "Let it gooooo!~ Let it gooooo!~" Elsa continued letting out blasts of snow into the air and around her. "Turn away and slam the dooooor!~" Elsa lowered her hands making the Snow fall around her before firing off more ice magic. "I don't caaaare what they're going to saaaay!~ Let the storm rage ooooon~ The cold never bothered me anyway~" Elsa took off her cape which flew off into the wind before she continued walking up the mountain.
Elsa was starting to feel the joy of being free to use her power now. Without anyone telling her no.
"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem smaaall!~" She sang before turning and walking backwards as she gazed at where she came from. "And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at aaaall!~" Elsa sang as she turned back around. "It's time to see what I can do, to test the limits and break through~" With her powers she created an ice staircase connecting one part of the mountain with another over a chasm. "No right, no wrong, no rules for meee!~ I'm freeeeeee!~" She stepped onto the first step, solidifying the step and making it smooth and sleek before she ran up the stairs, doing the same thing to the other steps and railings. "Let it gooooo!~ Let it gooooo!~ I am one with the wind and skyyyyy!~ Let it goooo!~ Let it goooo!~ You'll never see me cry!~" Elsa made it to the top of the stairs and onto the next part of the mountain. "Here I staaaaand and here I'll staaaaay!~" Elsa slammed her foot down forming a giant snowflake. "Let the storm rage ooooon!~"
Elsa began to do the impossible. She began to create an entire palace made of ice. As if she needed no effort to do so. An ice palace with her powers, the floor beneath her rising with ice pillars beneath it and around, walls forming around her. Elsa had no difficulty to make this possible.
Ice Man would be jealous.
"My power flurries through the air into the grooouuund!~" Elsa's magic courses through the floor and up the walls to create a ceiling. "My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around!~" Elsa then made an ice chandelier for her ice castle right above her. "And one thought crystallizes like an icy blaaaast!~ I'm never going back, the past is in the paaaaaast!~" she removed her crown and threw it away, symbolizing her tossing away her old life as Queen of Arendelle.
"Let it gooooo!~ Let it gooooo!~" Elsa sang as she let down her hair into a ponytail, and made herself a beautiful new blue dress made of ice. "And I'll rise like the break of daaaaawn!~ Let it gooooo!~ Let it gooooo!~ That perfect girl is gooooone!~" Elsa sang as she did her signature walk with a sway of her hips and her hands held out. Waking through her ice palace and onto the balcony as the morning was rising. "Here I staaaand in the light of daaaaay!~ Let the storm rage OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!~" Elsa echoed with her beautiful singing across the horizon, as her complete ice palace was complete, a palace that was several stories tall and shining in the sun. And Elsa smugly sang. "The cold never bothered me anyway~"
With that, she turned around to walk back into her new castle, closing the doors with a wave of her hand. There. Now we have this song in our fanfic. Don't expect us to repeat it internet! We're serious!
Just as Elsa was about to leave the north wing of the ice palace. The doors of the balcony knocked.
"Elsa? Are you there?" A voice called from the other end.
Elsa turned in shock as she recognized that voice to be Cassandra's. How did she find her here.
"Cassandra!?" Elsa gasped as she ran to the doors before throwing them open to reveal it really was Cassandra on the other side, shocking the ice Queen greatly. "How did!? Why- What are you doing here!? And how are you here!?"
"Calm down. It's nice that easy to explain. I used a magic stone that brought me here. Followed the sound of singing and-...Woah." Cassandra tried to explain until the sight of Elsa's new ice dress was really settling in. "You're...Wow."
Cassandra's expression read nothing but amazement.
"Oh, uh... Thanks." Elsa blushed deeply at the other girl's compliment. "I- I made the dress myself."
"Even the palace we're standing in?" Cassandra asked as she looked around while impressed.
"Yeah. Every part of this palace, I made myself." Elsa said bashfully.
Cassandra retracted the gloves from her suit and felt how smooth the ice was. It wasn't even cold. It felt like really smooth glass. Unbreakable.
Just like the woman before her.
"Listen there's a reason I'm here. About what happened earlier." Cassandra spoke up.
"It's fine, Cassandra. What's done is done. I appreciate you checking on me but you really should go." Elsa said while dismissive with a sad face as she turned to leave.
"No offense. But I'm not going anywhere. Not while those men are after you." Cassandra said firmly.
This caught Elsa's attention.
"What are you talking about? What men?" Elsa asked.
"Those men who tried to attack you. They call themselves the Marauders and they work for some guy called Mister Sinister. Lame and obvious name, I know. But they still are looking for you and they could come here. Let me protect you." Cassandra explained and insisted as she walked over.
Elsa's eyes were wide at that before she looked fearful.
"Please, I just. I don't want to hurt you." Elsa said, afraid to get too close.
"You can't. Even if you wanted it to." Cassandra assured as she held her hand up and summoned a small sphere of a black rock that spun in a circle. "I have magic powers as well."
Elsa's eyes widened in utter shock and awe.
"It's true. You'reβ¦.. Just like me." Elsa said, her voice holding within it a sliver of hope.
"Rapunzel has magic too. The whole story about her magic hair. And so does Orion. He's the Maverick." Cassandra added.
Which took Elsa by surprise. This whole day has been doing that a lot lately.
"I... I sort of knew about Rapunzel to an extent. But Orion?" Elsa asked in surprise.
"I had my doubts at first but yeah. His suit makes him look and sound older than he really is. And his wife, she's the one everyone calls Shift. His best friend is Verum Rex and...Long story short we're the Guardians of the Unknown. And everything that's happened makes this our priority." Cassandra explained. And she came up to her and held Elsa's hand. "And that makes you my priority. Keeping you safe I mean."
Elsa felt the warmth from Cassandra holding her hand. No one has touched her like this in years. The last thing Elsa ever remembered to be touched like this was when she felt the warmth of her mother. She can't even remember the last time she and her sister hugged.
Elsa looked at Cassandra's cyan colored eyes with her own ice blue eyes. Looking up slightly since Cassandra is a little bit taller than Elsa.
"What do I need to do?" Elsa asked as she figured this was a serious situation.
"Until my team gets back. Nothing for now. Just let me stay and keep you safe. I'll even tell you everything about my team. Even about how I got these powers. I might even teach you how do control yours a lot better." Cassandra said with encouragement.
And finally. Elsa smiled at this. Maybe there is hope. Maybe if Cassandra tells her about the conflicts and victories she had concerning her powers. Maybe she can show Elsa something about her own.
So the Snow Queen conceded.
"Alright, Cassandra. You can stay. But. I can't go back. I'm more at home up here right now." Elsa said calmly and affirmed her decision to stay up at the ice palace.
"Understood. And please. Call me Cass." Cassandra smiled.
Which made the Queen smile a little.
"Okay, then, Cass. As long as you call me Elsa." Elsa smiled with a slight blush before leading Cassandra by hand further into the palace. "Come on, let's find some place comfortable so you can tell me everything about yourself and your family, the Guardians."
It's a date.
And so Cassandra stayed in the Ice Palace with Elsa while the team worked on finding a way up and keeping Arendelle warm from the snowy weather.
Orion would be able to track Cassandra all the way up to the North Mountain. But he'll want to make a stop at how far Rapunzel, Eugene and Anna have gone first.
Whatever Mister Sinister has planned for Elsa. It won't be easy for him to get his hands on the Snow Queen. Not with Paragon on duty.
And definitely not with the Guardians on the move.

Yes. Mr Sinister is the main villain for this visit. Think of the possibilities that evil mastermind could accomplish with Elsa's power. π
"End global warming with liberal taxes?" Maverick quipped.π
I also wanna say I am so glad I got the chance to introduce Daredevil as a forshadow of why the balance between discretion and honesty is needed.
Much like Elsa's story.
And speaking of Elsa. I wanna make one thing clear. I want Elsa to be single in the movies. Much like Moana. Raya and even Judy Hopps, it's better that way for others to use their imaginations and leave their own interpretations and conclusions.
Because if Elsa had found someone in the previous two films. I never would've been able to write the possibility of Cassandra and her showing interest.
"What about Other Me's dad?" Orion asked.
J'son too! But if the movies eventually find a way for Elsa to find love. I'd want her to end up with someone like J'son in the movies but with fire powers. Maybe.
But the reason I'm going with Cassandra in this story is because it is an alternate reality after all. A Mirrorverse of the real story. You can make it different from cannon events. Like having Peggy Carter as the super soldier instead of Steve Rogers. Or having Gwen Stacy but by the spider instead of Peter Parker.
Or if you want a much different example in an alternate reality. The JJ Abrams Star Trek films.
Of if you want something close to home! How about-
"The Alchemist being a baby in my story while I take his cannon place?" Maverick asked. π
Wellβ¦..Yeah! Exactly, good example! π
Plus the Mav's Nobody being a female instead of a male.
And let's be honest. Cassandra and Elsa have too much in common. They both suppressed their true problems. They both have hyperactive sisters. They both felt the need to get the lead out when they let loose with their powers while running away from someone who was close to them.
"Also their skin is paleβ¦I got nothing else." Maverick shrugged as he tried to think of a comparison. οΈ
You could argue Cassandra is sort of like a dark version of Elsa. Except where Elsa had the intention of running away to not cause harm. Cassandra ran away with the intention to cause harm.
There's enough to make them different but plenty of common ground for them to relate and connect.
Besides, Arcane Season 2 got me in the mood for this idea. And so did Horizon Forbidden West DLC Burning Shores.
But I digress.
