Episode 414: An Elite Meet and Greet
After saying goodbye to Cheryl on the very next morning, Sora and Lucas decided to get some training done for the battle against Gardenia. Sora has sent out his Riolu as Lucas has sent out his Chimchar.
"Okay, you ready to go, Lucas?" Sora asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be, Sora," Lucas said.
"I was hoping you were, Lucas. Let's do this thing," Sora said.
"Okay, Chimchar! Power-Up Punch!" Lucas called out.
"Riolu! Bullet Punch!" Sora ordered.
Both Pokémon came at each other and they each landed a punch onto each other. Chimchar's attack power has gone up thanks to Power-Up Punch being successful.
"Okay, Chimchar! Flame Wheel!" Lucas ordered. Chimchar curls into a ball of fire and rolls right at the Emanation Pokémon.
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Riolu does a Double Team, making Chimchar's Flame Wheel miss completely. "Vacuum Wave!" Riolu lands a hit with his Vacuum Wave. "Move in with Force Palm!" Riolu does exactly that.
"I don't think so! Dodge and use Fury Swipes!" Lucas ordered. Chimchar dodges Riolu's Force Palm and came at him with a Fury Swipes, hitting him. "Power-Up Punch!"
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Riolu dodged Chimchar's Power-Up Punch with great speed. "Vacuum Wave!" Riolu unleashed a Vacuum Wave and it lands a hit onto Chimchar. "Use Bullet Punch!" Riolu lands a Bullet Punch onto the Chimp Pokémon. "Bullet Punch again!"
"Use Power-Up Punch!" Lucas ordered. Both Riolu and Chimchar land a heavy punch on each other. They overpowered each other, but they were still standing on their feet. Riolu stared right at Chimchar, and Chimchar strared right back at Riolu. After staring at each other for a few moments, Riolu then suddenly began to evolve, much to Sora's awe and Lucas's shock. Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Chase, Elaine, Dawn, the DigiDestined, and the other Pokémon were amazed by the sudden evolution. "Riolu's evolving!" Riolu has become a Lucario right before their eyes.
"Cool! Riolu is a Lucario now!" Sora said.
"Wow, I had a feeling Riolu was gonna evolve at some point," Ash said.
"Yeah. It has to be all that training Sora did with Riolu," Ethan said.
"Man, Lucario is such an awesome Pokémon. I want one, too!" Chase said, sounding envious.
"Pikachu," Volt said.
"Okay, Lucario! Aura Sphere!" Sora ordered. Lucario forms an Aura Sphere from his hands and sends it right at Chimchar, hitting him.
"Char," Chimchar said.
"Whoa! That was awesome!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Okay, we can call it a draw for right now," Sora suggested.
"Sure thing," Lucas said. He called back his Chimchar. "Get some rest, Chimchar."
A little later, Kairi decided to do her own training. She practiced with Angel, Buneary, Cherubi and Combee. During the training, Buneary and Cherubi started to evolve. Buneary has become a Lopunny and Cherubi has become a new kind of Pokémon. Two purple petals enclose her deep pink body. A short purple stem and a green leafy sepal sprout from the top of the petals. Her eyes appear to be near her short legs in this form.
"You both evolved. Let's have a look at the both of you," Kairi said, taking out her Rotom Phone and scanned them both.
Lopunny, the Rabbit Pokémon
The evolved form of Buneary
Type: Normal
Lopunny is constantly monitoring its surroundings. If danger approaches, this Pokémon responds with super-destructive kicks.
"And now, let's have a look at you," Kairi said, moving her Rotom Phone and scanned her. The image has two sets of the Pokémon. The second form looks like a flower of a cherry tree.
Cherrim, the Blossom Pokémon
The evolved form of Cherubi
It is docile as a bud, but turns cheerful when it blooms in the bright sunlight. It folds back into a bud if sunlight wanes. These forms are known as the Overcast Form and the Sunshine Form.
"Lopunny and Cherrim. Two evolutions at once. Let's see," Kairi said, looking over Cherrim's information. "It says you should know Sunny Day. Let's give it a try. Sunny Day!" Cherrim unleashed a Sunny Day, brightening up the surrounding area. Cherrim has changed her appearance. "Wow, you look very pretty, Cherrim!"
"Cherrim!" Cherrim said.
"You know, you still have plenty of time before the Hearthome City Pokémon Contest, so it won't hurt to take your time, Kairi," May said.
"You're right, May. Also, I plan for train my Combee to evolve into a Vespiquen since mine's a girl. I was thinking of before the Pokémon Contest," Kairi said.
"That makes sense to me," May said.
"But we can put that on hold for right now. Like you said, plenty of time," Kairi said. May smiled at that.
"I know you're going to do just fine in the Contest, Kairi," May said.
"Yeah. And I know Dawn and Zoey are going to do the same thing," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Okay, now, it's time to rest," Kairi said, calling back her Pokémon.
A little later, Dawn decided to give her Buizel a taste of battling. And against Roxas. He has sent out a Sneasel.
"Okay, Dawn, you can have the first move," Roxas said.
"Thanks, Roxas. Buizel! Use Icy Wind!" Roxas ordered. Sneasel blew Icy Wind over at the Sea Weasel Pokémon.
"Dodge it and use Water Gun!" Dawn ordered. Buizel jumped out out the way and used Aqua Jet instead of Water Gun, hitting Sneasel on the mark. "I didn't say Aqua Jet, I said Water Gun!"
"Dawn's right, she did say Water Gun. Why did Buizel use Aqua Jet instead?" Chase asked.
"I heard of this before. I heard that if a trainer is lacking the proper strength, then the Pokémon will not obey the Trainer," Brendan said.
"You think Dawn's lacking in strength?" Chase asked.
"Yeah. That Buizel is way too strong for her to control," Brendan said. Sneasel shook it off.
"You're alright, Sneasel. Quick Attack!" Roxas ordered.
"Dodge it, Buizel!" Dawn called out. Buizel just stayed put and took the hit. "Why won't you dodge it?!" Buizel gave Sneasel a Sonic Boom in the face, dealing such heavy damage due to how strong it was.
"A Sonic Boom in the face! I see why Buizel didn't dodge it. He wanted Sneasel to get close enough to pull it off," Ash said. Roxas picked up his Sneasel.
"You okay, Sneasel? Speak to me!" Roxas said.
"Sneas," Sneasel weakly said. Dawn ran up to Roxas.
"Roxas, is your Sneasel okay?" Dawn asked.
"I think he's fine, Dawn. It's not your fault," Roxas assured.
"It doesn't look like you're ready to control your Buizel yet," Ash said. Dawn puffed up her cheeks.
"Am too!" Dawn said. She took a quick glance at her Buizel and she sighed, unable to convince herself. "Or not."
"Don't beat yourself up too much about it, Dawn. You'll get it," Lucas said. Dawn smiled at her crush.
"Thank you, Lucas," Dawn said.
"There should be a Pokémon Center somewhere nearby, right?" Matt asked.
"Come to think of it, yes. We can go and head there," Izzy said.
"Well, then we gotta get there right away," Sora said.
"Yeah, but what about my Buizel. He doesn't do a single thing I say," Dawn said.
"Yeah, but how come your Buizel can obey you two?" Lucas asked Sora and Roxas.
"Maybe because their Buizel recognizes their strength while Dawn still hasn't developed hers yet," Ash said.
"So, you're saying is, I'm useless," Dawn saighed.
"No, I didn't mean it like that, Dawn. I didn't say you were useless," Ash said.
"That's what you were implying, right?" Dawn asked.
"You're twisting my words, Dawn," Ash said.
"I think what Ash means is you should give it some time before your strength to grow and you'll eventually get it. And maybe your Buizel will recognize your strength as well," Leaf said.
"Yeah, that's what I meant," Ash said.
"Ash and Leaf do have a point, Dawn. You can't make it happen overnight. That's something we know all about," Sora said.
"And we can help you with that, Dane. All you gotta do is ask," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill agreed.
"Hey, Sora, how about we let out our Buizel, too?" Roxas suggested.
"That's a great idea, bro," Sora said. He and Roxas have let out their Buizel. Stars swirls around Roxas's Buizel.
"Why are you letting your Buizel out?" Dawn asked.
"We thought when you and your Buizel see how we get along with our Buizel, maybe it might rub off him," Sora said.
"And you're gonna need to get to know yours, too, Dawn," Roxas said.
"They do have a point. What better way for a Pokémon and a Trainer to learn about the bonds between the two than witnessing it from others?" Tai asked.
The group have arrived to the Pokémon Center unaware of a man being present and reading a book. He is an elegant man, who has blue hair and blue-tinted glasses. He wears a red suit, with a white handkerchief in his pocket, over his black collared shirt, and has black shoes.
Roxas held up his Sneasel's Pokéball to her.
"Nurse Joy, won't you help my Sneasel, please?" Roxas asked.
"Of course. That's what I do," Nurse Joy said.
On TV, there is a broadcast of that same man reading his book. On the battlefield is a large Pokémon resembling a blue-green bell with two arms coming out of its sides. It has a hollow body and a yoke attached at the top. Its face can be best described as being a "Totem Pole" design; the Pokémon has two round, red eyes with blue-green irises and a rectangular mouth with one visible row of square teeth. It also has several darker, rectangular markings on its body.
On TV, Lucian is battling a Trainer who has a Camerupt out. This catches the attention of the group as they watch the battle on TV.
"So, we've come to the Champion League finale! Can Lucian of the Sinnoh region's Elite Four finish it up right here and now?" The announcer asked.
"Look at that. That guy with the glasses is awesome," Davis said.
"Davis, that's Lucian. He's one of the Sinnoh region's Elite Four," Lucas said.
"He's that good, isn't he?" Sora T asked.
"Are you kidding? Lucian is one of the toughest Trainers in all of Sinnoh. In fact, he specializes with Psychic-type Pokémon. In fact, his Psychic-types are so powerful, Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type Pokémon aren't able to bring them down," Lucas said.
"What Pokémon is that?" Sora asked.
"A Bronzong. That's Lucian's signature Pokémon," Lucas said.
"Let's see," Sora said, taking out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.
Bronzong, the Bronze Bell Pokémon

Type: Steel/Psychic
In ancient times, it was believed that Bronzong is a deity that has brought rain from other worlds. The rain it is said to summon would bring about a bountiful harvest.
"That guy is using a Camerupt, so it's a Fire and Ground-type, so it has the advantage," Izzy said.
"I wouldn't be so sure. That Bronzong of his is very strong," Dawn said. The three Buizel watched with awe and interest, seeing how strong Bronzong is.
On TV, Camerupt is firing Flamethrower at the Bronze Bell Pokémon, but none of the flames is hitting it as it uses its psychic powers to lift itself up and dodge them all.
"Bronzong isn't making it easy for Camerupt as it fires its Flamethrower! Bronzong is using its psychic powers to dodge from left to right!" The announcer announced.
"Bronzong! Use Earthquake!" Lucian ordered. Brongzong slammed on the ground, making the whole battlefield.
"A super-effective hit with an outstanding Earthquake!" The announcer announced as Camerupt fell on the ground, beaten.
"Camerupt is unable to battle! Bronzong wins! The winner is Lucian!" The referee announced.
"And that ladies and gentlemen shows Lucian knows how to handle Psychic-type Pokémon!" The announcer announced.
"Wow! The Trainers of the Elite Four are aweome!" Chase said.
"It wasn't that great," a voice spoke. This draws the attention of the entire group. "You see, I'm still learning. That match has taught me a lot." They all looked back and forth from the TV and right to Lucian himself in person.
"I don't believe it! You're Lucian of the Sinnoh Elite Four!" Dawn said.
"It's a huge honor to be meeting a member of the Sinnoh Elite Four," Lucas said.
"The honor is all mine," Lucian said.
A few moments later, the group sat down to have a talk with Lucian about the Champion League.
"From what we understand, only Pokémon Trainers who won the regional Pokémon Leagues can participate in the Champion League and take on the members of the Elite Four in the Champion League tournament, right?" Izzy asked.
"Yes, that is correct. And so far, Sora Ketchum has the title of Pokémon League Champion. And since he has won the Pokémon Leagues in the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions, then he automatically has the right to participate in the Champion League whenever he chooses to. And only when he has defeated all of the members of the region's Elite Four, then he will have to battle region's current Champion and take on the title of Regional Champion," Lucian explained.
"Come to think of it, I did think about taking part of the Champion League ever since the Indigo Plateau, but Kairi and I just went and traveled to Johto to see more of the world and take on the challenges along the way," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Well, from Kanto, there's Loreli, who specializes with Ice-type Pokémon, Bruno who specializes with Fighting-type Pokémon, Agatha who specializes with Ghost-type Pokémon, and Lance who specializes with Dragon-type Pokémon," Ash said.
"In Johto, there's Will who specializes with Psychic-types like Lucian. But there's also Karen who uses Dark-types, Darla the Lightning who uses Electric-types, and Jack the Rock who uses Rock-types," Ethan said.
"And there's Hoenn. There's Sydney who uses Dark-types, Glacia who uses Ice-types, Phoebe who uses Ghost-types, and Drake who uses Dragon-types," Brendan said.
"And that leaves the Sinnoh region. The Sinnoh region's Elite Four is made up of yours truly, and I specialize with Psychic-type Pokémon. There's Aaron who specializes with Bug-types, Bertha who specializes with Ground-types, and Flint who specializes with Fire-types. And on top who holds the title of Champion of the Sinnoh Champion League is Cynthia. If you wish to challenge her, then you're going have to defeat the four of us; the Elite Four of Sinnoh," Lucian said.
"Cynthia's the most powerful Trainer in all of Sinnoh," Lucas said.
"Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui," Dawn's Buizel said.
"Stop it, Buizel," Dawn said.
"Sorry about that. It's just Dawn recently caught this Buizel, same as me and him," Sora said, gesturing to Roxas and their two Buizel.
"It's quite alright. I think Dawn's Buizel wants to battle me," Lucian said. Everyone all looked at Dawn's Buizel and saw determined he looked.
"Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui!" Dawn's Buizel said.
"Is Dawn's Buizel for real?" Yolei asked.
"I think so. And I accept Dawn's Buizel's challenge," Lucian said.
"Dawn, you sure you wanna do this? A member of the Elite Four is a whole different ballpark than any ordinary Trainer," Kairi said.
"She's right. You should think it over," TK said.
"My Buizel made the challenge, so it's only fair I respect his decision as a Pokémon Trainer," Dawn said.
"Dawn has a point. Maybe it'll be good for the both of them, so I say go for it," Sora said.
The rest of the group understood and decided to let Dawn go along with it. Not too long after, Dawn and Lucian got into position for their battle. Both Dawn and Lucian have agreed to one Pokémon each. Her friends sat on the sidelines, watching the battle to begin. Dawn's Buizel was pumped to begin battling.
"What Pokémon do you think he's going to send out?" Cody asked.
"My money is on that Bronzong. We've seen first hand on how strong it is, and that was on TV," Matt said.
"I'm with Matt. Bronzong is Lucian's signature Pokémon," Lucas said.
"Let us begin," Lucian said, taking out his Pokéball and threw it. "Bronzong! Go!" His Pokéball opened and out his Bronzong came.
"You made the right call, Lucas. He's sending out his ace Pokmon against Dawn's Buizel," Amy said.
"Alright, Buizel! Aqua Jet!" Dawn ordered. Dawn's Buizel jumped and fired Water Gun instead of using Aqua Jet.
"Buizel's using Water Gun?" Davis asked.
"Her Buizel won't do a thing she says," Ash said.
"Bronzong! Iron Defense!" Lucian ordered. Bronzong creates a metallic shield, making Water Gun bounce off.
"This time I want you to use Aqua Jet!" Dawn ordered. Her Buizel ignored her and unleashed a Sonic Boom instead.
"Now, it's Sonic Boom!" Leaf said.
"Why is Buizel doing that?" Dawn asked.
"Iron Defense again!" Lucian ordered. Bronzong uses another Iron Defense and Dawn's Buizel's Sonic Boom bounces off. The other two Buizel shouted out to their brother, telling him to keep going. "Let's wrap this up, Bronzong. Gyro Ball!" Bronzong spins around and heads right for the Sea Weasel Pokémon while surrounded by silver energy.
"Quick, Buizel! Dodge it!" Dawn called out. Dawn's Buizel ignored her again and uses Aqua jet instead. Buizel is easily overpowered by Bronzong's Gyro Ball. "No!" Dawn's Buizel shook it off and stood back on his feet. Lucian was impressed by her Buizel's resolve.
"Amazing. Buizel took Bronzong's Gyro Ball and still got back up. Alright, Bronzong. It's time for Flash Cannon," Lucian ordered. Bronzong prepared to fire Flash Cannon at the Sea Weasel Pokémon.
"Flash Cannon?!" Dawn exclaimed.
"Oh, boy," the whole group said as Bronzong fired Flash Cannon right at Dawn's Buizel.
"Dodge it!" Dawn called out. Dawn's Buizel ignored her and fired Water Gun instead. Due to Bronzong's strength and experience, Bronzong has easily overpowered Dawn's Buizel's Water Gun and land a devastating hit onto Dawn's Buizel. The other two Buizel gasped when they saw their brother being struck by such a powerful attack. "Buizel!" Her Buizel struck a tree behind him. She ran up to her Buizel with concern. "Buizel, are you okay?" Dawn's Buizel tried to get back up, refusing to call it quits, but fell back down, beaten.
"I'm terribly sorry. It seems I have gotten a bit carried away by Buizel's fighting spirit. Please, go and see Nurse Joy," Lucian said.
"We will," Dawn said.
"Till we meet again," Lucian said, bowing his head in respect and took his leave.
"It was great meeting you," Sora said.
"Despite her Buizel's strength, none of his attacks even hurt Bronzong," Chase said.
"What do you expect from a member of the Elite Four? They're a whole different level than any Gym Leader," Tai said.
"He's right. Dawn's Buizel is strong as Sora 2's and Roxas's, but that Bronzong was way too experienced in battle. That's why Dawn's Buizel lost," Ken said.
A few moments later, Dawn has her Buizel checked in the Pokémon Center for him to be healed. His two brothers were filled with concern for him.
"Don't worry. He's gonna be okay," Roxas said.
"Buizel," the Shiny Buizel said.
Dawn's Buizel woke up.
"Buizel, I'm glad you're doing okay," Dawn said. Her Buizel got off the operating table and walked over to the wall, looking at his feet. "Buizel?"
"What's wrong with her Buizel?" Yolei asked.
"I think I know. I think he's going through a wounded pride," Kairi said.
"A wounded pride?" Yolei asked.
"Right. Remember back at the river before we came to the Eterna Forest? Those three Buizel were unbeatable. They never backed down from any opponent they had come across, but it was being beaten by a much stronger opponent that really did it," Kairi said.
"It makes sense for Dawn's Buizel to be so sad. It was hard for him to lose," Kari said.
Just a little while later, Wes and Rui entered the Pokémon Center and they smiled when they saw their friends.
"Hi, everyone. It's nice to see you," Rui said.
"Wes, Rui," Sora said.
"Good of you to come by," Ash said. Wes noticed the three Buizel and saw the third on by the wall.
"I can see you have some new additions to your teams," Wes said.
"Yeah, about that," Sora said.
When everyone stepped outside, Sora explained to Wes and Rui about how they came across the three Buizel and caught them, and that Dawn's Buizel had battled against Lucian and lost.
"So, that's it," Wes said, understanding the situation.
"And we were about to figure out what to do when you came along," Roxas said.
"I think I have an idea," Wes said. He turned to Dawn. "Dawn, you don't mind if I borrow your Buizel for a bit, do you?" Wes asked.
"Borrow my Buizel?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah, Wes, what do you got planned?" Joe asked.
"I just a theory about Dawn's Buizel, so I thought I would put that theory to the ultimate test," Wes said.
"If you have an idea, then we could go along with it, but Dawn should have a say in it since it's her Buizel, after all," Sora said.
"I agree with you, Sora. And that's why I'm asking her," Wes said.
"Well, if Wes has an idea, then I guess I can let him borrow my Buizel for a little while," Dawn said.
"Great. And now, I'm going to need one of you to volunteer to be my opponent for a practice battle," Wes said.
"Okay, but which one of us?" Amy asked.
"I could give it a shot," Cody said, stepping in.
"You sure, Cody?" TK asked.
"I am. I wanna help anyway I can," Cody said.
"Okay, Cody, we can get started," Wes said as he and Cody got into position for battle. Cody took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Swampert! Go!" Cody called out. Out came his Swampert.
"Swamp!" Swampert roared upon entry.
"Alright, Buizel. Go on in," Wes said. Dawn's Buizel steps in, ready to battle against the Mud Fish Pokémon. "Cody, you may have the first move."
"Swampert! Use Take Down!" Cody ordered. Swampert charges at Dawn's Buizel.
"Water Gun!" Wes ordered. Buizel then fired Water Gun, hitting Swampert in the face.
"Swampert! Hydro Pump!" Cody ordered. Swampert fired a Hydro Pump right at Dawn's Buizel and jumped in the air to dodge. Wes saw how Dawn's Buizel moved his tails.
"Sonic Boom!" Wes ordered. Buizel unleashed a Sonic Boom, hitting Swampert on the spot. "Aqua Jet!" Dawn's Buizel came at Swampert with Aqua Jet, landing a hit.
"Incredible! Dawn's Buizel is actually obeying Wes's commands!" Meiko said.
"Of course. It's because knows what Dawn was doing wrong," Rui said. Everyone all looked at Rui.
"What was I doing wrong?" Dawn asked.
"You see, it wasn't a matter of how strong Dawn was. It was a matter of style and rhythm," Rui said.
"A matter of style and battle rhythm?" Dawn asked.
"Uh-huh. Sora, Roxas, and your Buizel all have their own styles and battle rhythm. That's how Sora and Roxas are able to handle theirs better than you. A Trainer's task is to discover what it is, and help their Pokémon develop it," Rui said. Dawn was letting Rui's words sink in.
"I think I'm starting to get it," Dawn said.
"So am I. I'm just embarrassed that I didn't figure that out," Ash said.
"Hey, don't get yourself down. Even Izzy isn't right about everything," Tai said.
"Finish with Water Gun!" Wes ordered. Dawn's Buizel fired one more Water Gun, hitting Swampert, knocking the Mud Fish Pokémon out.
"Swampert!" Cody gasped, running up to it. "Are you alright, Swampert?"
"Swamp," Swampert weakly said. Cody smiled.
"Don't apologize, Swampert. You did your best. I'll have Nurse Joy heal you up. For now, rest," Cody said, calling back Swampert.
"Wow, Buizel, you were awesome!" Dawn praised her Buizel.
"Bui, Bui!" Buizel said.
"So, you get it now?" Wes asked.
"I do. And thanks for helping out," Dawn said.
"That's what teammates do. They help each other out," Wes said. Dawn figured Rei had told him, Rui, and Michael by now, so she smiled at that.
"I respect your team's efforts," a familiar voice said. They all turned to see Lucian.
"How long have you been there?" Lucas asked.
"Ever since the battle began. And I instantly understood what you were doing," Lucian said. Dawn's Buizel approached Lucian again.
"Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui, Bui!" Dawn's Buizel said.
"Don't tell me you wanna battle again?" Dawn asked.
"I'd love to," Lucian said, accepting the challenge with a smile. He turned to Dawn. "Please, Dawn? May I?" Dawn thought for a moment and looked at her Buizel.
"Sure," Dawn said. Both Dawn and Lucian got into position for their battle. Dawn was using her Buizel while Lucian is using his Bronzong.
"Brongzong! Gyro Ball!" Lucian ordered. Bronzong spins around to use Gyro Ball.
"Quick, Buizel! Dodge!" Dawn called out. Her Buizel dodged it as his two brothers cheered him on. Lucas was very proud that his crush's Buizel was now obeying her. "Now, Buizel! Aqua Jet!" Dawn's Buizel uses Aqua Jet to dart at his opponent.
"Iron Defense!" Lucian ordered. Bronzong uses Iron Defense to build up its defense. Buizel lands a hit on the Bronze Bell Pokémon. They were in perfect synch.
"Now, let's use Water Gun!" Dawn ordered.
"Iron Defense!" Lucian ordered. Bronzong uses another Iron Defense and builds up its defense once again.
"Great work, Buizel! Keep it up!" Dawn said. Suddenly, Lucian calls Bronzong back into its Pokéball. "Why?"
"I think that's just enough," Lucian said, approaching Dawn and her Buizel. "Though, I can't say you were perfect, you worked much better with your Buizel than the last time. And it only took a practice battle between your two friends to help you out."
"Gee, thank," Dawn said.
"I know you'll become much stronger in the future. I am looking forward in seeing how you do. Farewell," Lucian said, taking his leave.
"That was an amazing meeting," TK said.
"Yeah, and one of us will have the honor of battling him in the Champion League someday," Lucas said.
"He's right, Sora. One of us will be taking home that winner's trophy," Roxas said.
"Then, let's give it everything we got in our upcoming battles," Sora said.
"Yeah!" Roxas and Lucas said.
After an interesting meeting with Lucian of the Sinnoh Elite Four, Dawn now has a better synch with her Buizel thanks to Wes in that practice battle. The next step to realize their chance to challenge the Elite Four of Sinnoh would be obtaining the seven remaining Gym battles, and the second one will be over at Eterna City where Gardenia is currently waiting. And that is a match to look forward to.
