Gohan and Kara Zor-El clashed fiercely in the wilderness. Their fists collided repeatedly, each trying to outdo the other in speed and strength. An hour later, they both lay on the ground, catching their breath.
"I can feel your punches getting stronger," Kara remarked.
"The same goes for you," Gohan replied.
"Do you think our strength is enough to defeat someone like Raditz?" Gohan inquired.
Kara shook her head. "No, we're not even good enough to help Goku or Piccolo."
"We need to boost our strength and speed," Kara stated.
Gohan nodded in agreement. "I was thinking we should develop some team attacks."
"That's a great idea," Kara responded, and the two began brainstorming strategies.
In Otherworld
King Kai's Planet
Goku struggled to walk, but Gine moved effortlessly beside him. "Something's wrong?" she asked.
"How can you move so easily on this planet?" Goku wondered.
"Planet Vegeta's gravity is the same as here, so it's nothing for me," Gine explained. King Kai watched Goku's struggle, amused.
Goku grunted, "I'm going to remove my weighted Gi."
"No," King Kai interjected, "It's good training for you. If you can move without any problems, I'll start training you."
As Goku continued his efforts, Gine asked, "Goku, can you tell me more about you?"
Goku nodded, "Of course." He began recounting his adventures from when he was a young boy, and Gine listened intently.
Back on Earth, at Capsule Corporation
Inside a training room, Krillin, Tien, and the others faced off against clones of Raditz. The battle was intense. Krillin unleashed a barrage of ki blasts, but they were deflected effortlessly. Tien watched as his friends were overpowered and knocked unconscious.
After the training session ended, the group gathered to discuss.
"Tien, we need to learn stronger attacks," Krillin proposed.
Krillin added, "If the other two Saiyans are even stronger, we need to hurry and boost our strength."
Yamcha sighed, "One year isn't enough for us to improve dramatically."
Krillin responded, "We don't have a choice. We need to focus on enhancing our power to help defeat them."
Yamcha looked at Yajirobe and Chiaotzu, who were still unconscious. "We should take a break," he suggested.
Tien nodded, "I'll ask my wife to prepare something to eat."
Two Hours Later in Otherworld
Goku's training progressed. He was now moving faster, but his hunger was evident. Gine offered to cook, and soon a feast was laid out. As Goku ate, Gine watched him with a smile, "He eats just like his father," she thought.
Goku looked at Gine, "Mom, I heard Planet Vegeta was destroyed by a meteorite."
Gine was taken aback, "What are you talking about? Planet Vegeta wasn't destroyed by a meteorite."
Goku raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure?"
Gine nodded, "Yes, we could easily destroy a meteorite with an energy blast." She hesitated, then added, "Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza."
"Frieza?" Goku echoed.
Gine nodded solemnly, "He's a powerful and evil being. He can destroy a planet with minimal effort." She then recounted the tragic events leading up to Planet Vegeta's destruction.
Flashback
Planet Vegeta
Gine and Bardock's Residence
Gine was preparing dinner when the door burst open. She gasped as Bardock, covered in blood, staggered inside.
"Gine! You and our son need to leave this planet NOW!" Bardock yelled desperately.
"What's happening?" Gine cried, her eyes wide with fear.
"Dodoria killed our friends," Bardock explained, his voice trembling.
"Why?" Gine whispered.
"Fasha told me before she died. Frieza plans to destroy Planet Vegeta. He doesn't need us anymore," Bardock said, his voice choked with emotion.
"You need to find a space pod and escape from here," Bardock urged.
Gine's eyes filled with tears. "And what about you?"
Bardock looked away, struggling with his emotions. "It's too late for me. I just want to ensure you both are safe."
Before Gine could protest, Bardock pulled her close, their lips meeting in a desperate kiss. When they pulled apart, Gine nodded, tears streaming down her face. "I promise."
She quickly ran to their room, grabbing their infant son. As she prepared to leave, Bardock watched her, determination burning in his eyes. "Frieza… you will pay for this," he vowed, his aura flaring as he flew into the sky, ready to confront Frieza's forces.
At the Space Pod Facility
A high-ranking Saiyan glared at Gine, his eyes filled with disdain. "You know very well that low-rank Saiyans like you don't belong here," he sneered.
Ignoring his taunts, Gine hurriedly approached the computer. The high-ranking Saiyan, furious at her audacity, swiftly moved next to her and delivered a brutal uppercut. Gine coughed up blood from the force of the blow.
He grabbed her hair, pulling her face close to his. "Did you not hear me, you little wretch?" he hissed.
In defiance, Gine raised her hand and flashed him the middle finger. Enraged, the Saiyan slammed her face into the floor repeatedly, causing blood to stain her face.
"Gine, apologize now!" the Saiyan demanded, his voice dripping with fury.
Gine, gathering her strength, shouted back, "Go to hell!" She landed a forceful punch in his groin, causing him to stumble in shock. She then quickly input random coordinates into the computer, securing their escape.
"Don't worry, I've got this–" Gine began, but she was cut off as the high-ranking Saiyan unleashed an energy blast, striking her in the stomach. Pain shot through her, and she coughed up blood from the force of the blow. Desperately, she forced the space pod's door closed and, with urgency, pressed the launch button. The pod rocketed away, heading to an unknown location.
The Saiyan roared in anger, "How dare you use a high-ranking space pod! Those are reserved for us!"
"I'll report this to Frieza!" he threatened. But before he could act, Gine unleashed a series of ki blasts, destroying the computer. She then blasted a hole in the wall and made her escape.
Moments Later, in an Open Field
Gine crash-landed, her strength fading. She activated her scouter, her voice weak, "I managed to send Kakarot to safety."
"I love you, Bardock," she whispered, tears streaming down her face, "I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise." With those final words, her heart ceased its beat, and she passed away.
Elsewhere, Bardock, sensing her loss, shattered his scouter in grief. "Frieza... you've taken everything from me," he roared.
Frieza, amused, remarked, "A power level of ten thousand? Laughable."
Bardock's fury knew no bounds. "You took away my wife, my friends, my people!" His power surged, his aura blazing wildly.
Frieza chuckled, "Fifty-five thousand? Still not a threat."
Pushing himself to the limit, Bardock screamed, "I swear, Frieza, after I kill you, I'll come for your father and brother!" He channeled all his energy, "Final Spirit Cannon!" He unleashed a massive energy blast.
Frieza, unimpressed, retaliated with an even larger energy ball. It overpowered Bardock's attack, crashing into the Saiyan and then the planet, resulting in a cataclysmic explosion.
Flashback Ended
King Kai's Planet
King Kai interrupted, "Goku, don't even think about challenging Frieza. He's far too powerful."
Goku nodded, "I won't."
King Kai glared at Gine, "Why did you tell him?"
Gine responded firmly, "My son deserved to know the truth."
King Kai sighed, "Fine. But remember, Frieza is not to be trifled with." He then turned to Goku, "Now, back to training."
He nodded at him when he continued his training when King Kai looked at him. "Goku...I hope you heed my warning about not fighting him," King Kai thought as he observed him intently.
Meanwhile,
On Earth,
In the wilderness,
The sky was clear as Piccolo observed from above. He watched as they improved their skills. Suddenly, he swooped down towards them, causing them to cease their fight and quickly turn around. "Hi Mr. Piccolo!" Gohan and Kara exclaimed simultaneously.
"Hello," Piccolo replied, his voice calm yet firm.
"I've noticed you two are improving in your fighting skills. In two months, I'll return, and you will both spar with me," Piccolo announced.
"If you can demonstrate significant improvement in your power and fighting skills, I'll commence the real training," he added.
"Do you two want to take up this challenge?" Piccolo inquired.
"Yes," Gohan responded eagerly, while Kara nodded in agreement.
"I must leave now. Good luck with your training," Piccolo said, before adding a final remark, "Don't disappoint me."
"Goodbye," Gohan and Kara responded, watching as Piccolo swiftly flew away.
"Gohan! Did you hear that?" Kara asked, excitement in her voice.
"Yes," Gohan replied, his eyes sparkling with determination.
"We need to focus more on our training. It's essential we improve our strength and speed," Kara suggested. "Then we can start our serious training."
Gohan nodded in agreement. "Okay, let's resume our fight," he said, as they both took their fighting stances.
Their eyes locked, each assessing the other. Suddenly, they charged, their fists colliding with a thunderous impact, sending shockwaves rippling through the air. The force of their blows shattered the boulders surrounding them, dust and debris flying in all directions.
For the next two hours, they sparred relentlessly, each pushing the other to their limits, their determination fueled by the upcoming challenge against Piccolo.
Meanwhile, in the Otherworld,
On King Kai's Planet,
King Kai, taking a brief respite, glanced over at Goku. "King Kai! Do you have a crystal ball?" Goku asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Yes!" King Kai replied, intrigued by the request.
"I'd like to use it to see how my family is doing," Goku requested, while Gine, equally curious, walked over to join them.
King Kai, holding the crystal ball, showed Goku a glimpse of Gohan and Kara, deeply engrossed in their training. "So, my son is preparing for the fight," Goku remarked, a hint of surprise in his voice. "I never thought Chi-Chi would let him."
"Is that my grandson?" Gine asked.
"Yes, his name is Gohan," Goku replied.
"Can you show me your wife?" Gine asked. King Kai, obliging, shifted the view of the crystal ball to Chi-Chi, who sat in the dining room, gazing at a picture of Goku and Gohan, her expression tinged with sadness.
Goku's heart ached at the sight. "Chi-Chi... I promise I'll return and try my best to lead a normal life," he thought, filled with determination.
King Kai turned to Goku. "You have thirty minutes to rest. After that, your training continues," he instructed firmly.
"Could you switch back to Gohan?" Goku requested. As the scene in the crystal ball changed, he saw his son still training hard. A proud smile spread across Goku's face. "My son has the potential to be a great warrior," he thought, filled with pride at Gohan's growing bravery and skill.
2 months later
Earth
Wilderness
In the middle of the open field when Piccolo was looking at them. "Today finally I'm going to test you two" Piccolo says when he saw they was already on their fighting pose when he smiled as he was ready to fight them.
They quickly ran at him when she quickly focus in her energy started to release her eyes laser when he was able to dodge her attack when he saw the her eye laser was able to cut the boulder down. "it looks like she have a beautiful control over her eye laser" Piccolo thought.
He turned around and saw the Gohan quickly ran at him and started to attack him as he was trying to punch him but he was able to dodge all his attack. "well it looks like someone finally was able to start behaving like a warrior" Piccolo thought when he noticed the Gohan was increasing his speed.
He dodge the last one and saw when Gohan accidentally punch the boulder causing to shatter into little pieces when Piccolo quickly grabbed his hand and threw him in another direction.
He moved his hand and threw a energy blast against him when he quickly moved his hand as he used all his strength to reflect the energy blast when the energy blast crashed into the ground causing a massive explosion.
He looked at her. "Let's used the technique!" Gohan screamed when she nodded at him when he was curious was they was plan when he saw they both started to charge their energy when their hand was near each other. "Double Masenko!!!" Gohan and Kara screamed when two energy ball combined into one when they threw the energy blast against him as he was surprised.
He saw the energy blast getting closer at him when suddenly he reflect the energy blast in another direction causing a massive explosion when suddenly they appeared and punch him into his face.
He was surprised when he quickly dodge the next attack as he grab them and slam them into the ground causing a massive crater when he was looking at them. "fine tomorrow we're going to start our real training" Piccolo says when they was surprised they stood up and started to jump with excitement.
"I want you two to rest for today," Piccolo said.
"The purpose of your training is to ensure you can control your power. This will increase our chances of defeating the two Saiyans," he continued.
"So, how long until the Saiyans arrive?" Gohan asked.
"Well, if your uncle was telling the truth, we have nine months," Piccolo responded.
"Nine months should be enough time to increase our power," he added, nodding at them. "Goodbye," Piccolo concluded.
"Goodbye," Gohan and Kara replied, watching as he flew away. They then lay down on the ground.
"Nine months," Kara murmured.
"Do you think that's enough time to defeat them?" she asked Gohan.
"I think so, but just in case, my father will be there to defeat them," Gohan said, expressing his trust in his father's strength. Suddenly, their stomachs growled.
Kara looked at Gohan. "Let's look for some food," she suggested, and they both stood up to search for wild animals.
Meanwhile,
In the Otherworld,
On King Kai's planet,
King Kai noticed Goku moving around his planet with ease. "Goku, tomorrow we start our real training," King Kai announced.
"I'm going to teach you two techniques: the Spirit Bomb and the Kaio-ken," he informed Goku.
"Finally! Tomorrow I can start my real training," Goku exclaimed, excited about learning the new techniques. Just then, his stomach growled, and he noticed Gine placing multiple plates of food on the table. He hurried over and sat down.
"Thank you, Mom," Goku said, starting to eat, while King Kai sat down to drink tea.
Goku looked at Gine. "So, Mother, tell me something interesting about the Saiyans," he requested.
"Something interesting," Gine mused, sitting down to eat. "Well, I remember an old story my grandmother told me when I was a little girl. She spoke of the legend of the legendary Super Saiyan. It began long ago, even before the Saiyans lived on Planet Vegeta. They used to inhabit Planet Sadala."
"Planet Sadala... I recall that the old planet was destroyed," King Kai interjected, sipping his tea.
"Really?" Goku asked, surprised.
"Yes. The legend says that the Saiyans of Planet Sadala had a civil war. They fought for power and control of the planet," Gine explained. "On the day Planet Sadala was destroyed, a powerful battle occurred. A Saiyan awoke his power and transformed into the legendary Super Saiyan. His transformation was so overwhelming that he couldn't control his power and lost control of his mind. The other Saiyans performed an ancient ritual involving six pure-hearted Saiyans, temporarily granting him the power of a Super Saiyan God. They fought fiercely, and the Saiyans were forced to evacuate the planet before it exploded."
"But it's just a legend, so don't take it too seriously," Gine cautioned. "Most of our original history and knowledge were lost. Only a few Saiyans know about the legend or anything about our original home."
"So, tell me more about you and your adventures with your friends," Gine said, encouraging Goku to share stories of his quests for the Dragon Balls with Bulma.
Meanwhile
In unknown planet
In the capital when the native was having a normal day when suddenly a massive explosion happened when the smoke dissipated and suddenly Vegeta and Nappa appeared when Vegeta saw the native was confused. "it looks like they power level are two hundred" Vegeta says.
He moved his hand but suddenly Vegeta quickly stop him and punch him into his stomach causing him to cough blood into his mouth. "are you stupid!" Vegeta screamed at him furiously.
"did you remember the last previous planet we didn't vet a lot of money because you damage the planet that wasn't worth anything" Vegeta says.
"So you better just straight up kill them and don't destroy anything" Vegeta says.
"fine" Nappa replied when they quickly flew into the streets when Vegeta quickly appeared next to him and threw a energy blast destroying his body completely as the people started to ran in horror as they was trying to escape from the capital as the native started to warn others.
Nappa started to flew as he quickly grabbed the neck of a woman and quickly broke her neck as he slammed her lifeless body's into the ground when he saw the two crying as he was laughing the he quickly grabbed one and slammed his face into the ground quickly killing him.
The other child quickly started to ran away but suddenly he threw a energy blast against him killing quickly when he looked into the sky and started to heard the alarm when he noticed multiple space started to fly away from the Planet .
He moved his hand but suddenly he stop when he saw the Vegeta was looking at him furiously. "Nappa…if you damage the value of this planet I'm promise I'm going to kill you!" Vegeta says furiously while killing two people with his own hand.
"fine" Nappa says as he wanted to make a lot of damage around the planet.
"Nappa…the idiot! One of this day I'm going to kill the useless idiot and replace with someone with a brain" Vegeta thought as he continued to kill without showing any mercy.
Twelve hours later
In the morning when they was walking around and saw the a lot of the native regular citizens flew away while their soldiers decided to fight when he turned around and saw the last soldiers when he quickly punch him into his stomach causing him to cough blood from his mouth when he fell down into the ground. "please…don't kill me" the soldiers says as he beg for him.
He was looking at him when he step on his head. "hahaha! Don't make me laugh! The only reason the weakling exists to be step by the strongest!" Vegeta says when he push his feet with force as blood appeared everywhere when he push the scouter and saw the only energy sources it was Nappa.
"Finally…we finish doing this job" Vegeta says when he walked into the store market as he grabbed multiple meat diaper.
He push the button "idiot! We're going to eat something before we leave this planet" Vegeta says whenever he answers back as he walked back as he grabbed wood and started the fired aa he started to cook the meat.

On an unknown planet,
In the capital when the natives were going about their day when suddenly a massive explosion shattered the peace. As the smoke dissipated, Vegeta and Nappa emerged. Vegeta surveyed the confused natives. "It looks like their power level is around two hundred," Vegeta remarked.
He made a move, but Vegeta quickly stopped him, delivering a fierce punch to his stomach, causing Nappa to cough up blood. "Are you stupid?" Vegeta yelled furiously. "Do you remember how little money we got for the last planet? You damaged it so much it wasn't worth anything. Just kill them, and don't destroy anything else," he commanded.
"Fine," Nappa grumbled. They flew into the streets, where Vegeta swiftly appeared beside a native and obliterated him with an energy blast. The citizens began to run in horror, trying to escape the capital, warning others as they fled.
Nappa, laughing maniacally, broke the neck of a woman and slammed her lifeless body into the ground. He grabbed a child, smashing his face into the ground, killing him instantly. Another child ran, but Nappa eliminated him with an energy blast. He looked up, noticing multiple spaceships fleeing the planet.
Vegeta, watching with fury, warned, "Nappa, if you damage the value of this planet, I swear I'll kill you!" He then mercilessly killed two people with his bare hands.
"Fine," Nappa replied, restraining his desire to cause more destruction.
Vegeta thought, "Nappa... the idiot! One of these days, I'll kill this useless fool and replace him with someone smarter." He continued his ruthless spree, showing no mercy.
Twelve hours later,
In the morning, they walked through the ravaged streets. Most of the regular citizens had fled, while a few soldiers decided to fight. Vegeta confronted the last soldier, punching him in the stomach so hard he coughed up blood and fell to the ground.
"Please... don't kill me," the soldier begged.
Vegeta looked down at him, stepping on his head. "Ha! Don't make me laugh! Weaklings like you exist only to be crushed by the strong," he declared, pressing his foot down with force, blood spilling everywhere. Checking his scouter, Vegeta saw Nappa was the only other energy source left.
"Finally... we've finished this job," Vegeta said, walking to a market store and grabbing multiple meat diapers.
He pressed the button on his communicator. "Idiot! We're going to eat something before we leave this planet," he barked into it. Nappa replied, and Vegeta returned, collecting wood and starting a fire to cook the meat.
One hour later,
They were already eating the meat when Nappa looked at Vegeta. "So, how long will it take us to get to Earth?" Nappa asked.
"Nine months," Vegeta replied.
"That means we can conquer another two planets before we reach Earth," Vegeta said, taking a bite of his food. "The Dragon Balls… finally, I'll have the key to immortality," he thought to himself as they continued to eat.
Next day
Earth
Wilderness
In an open field, Gohan and Kara were locked in a fierce battle with Piccolo. With remarkable speed, Piccolo dodged their assaults and countered with a barrage of ki blasts. Gohan and Kara, resilient, redirected the energy blasts, causing a series of explosive detonations.
In a swift maneuver, Piccolo grabbed Gohan and flung him aside, unleashing a volley of ki blasts in his direction. Gohan responded with a counterblast, leading to a colossal explosion. Simultaneously, Kara intensified the assault with her own ki blasts, which Piccolo skillfully deflected. Unleashing her eye lasers, Kara's attack narrowly missed Piccolo, who noticed the increasing strength of her beams.
"Good… if we continue like this, we have a higher chance to defeat them," Piccolo thought, delivering a powerful uppercut to Kara. He then grabbed her hair and threw her towards Gohan, resulting in a painful collision. "That hurt!" Kara exclaimed angrily.
"Stop complaining," Piccolo responded tersely. As Kara stood, brushing dust off her shoulder and preparing to retort, their attention shifted as Gohan and Kara's stomachs growled loudly.
"We're hungry," Gohan stated.
"We want something to eat," Kara demanded, her voice firm.
"Only this time, I'm going to hunt for the food, so you better be grateful," Piccolo conceded, setting out in search of T-Rex meat.
An hour later, Piccolo returned, having prepared the T-Rex meat. Gohan and Kara ate heartily, while Piccolo watched them, deep in thought. Breaking the silence, Gohan asked, "Piccolo, do you think we have the chance to defeat them?"
"Yes, if we play the right cards," Piccolo assured.
"So, nine more months," Kara said, her voice tinged with nervousness.
"Yes, but you two shouldn't be nervous. You have enough time to improve your skills and power," Piccolo encouraged.
"So, for now, focus on improving your skills," he advised, receiving a nod of agreement from them.
"Gohan and Kara… I know you two have a lot of potential to become powerful warriors. I'm going to make sure you two release your full potential," Piccolo thought, patiently waiting for them to finish their meal.
Thirty minutes later
Piccolo stood up, noticing they had finished eating. "Are you two ready to train again?" he asked. They nodded, prepared to continue their rigorous training.
Nine months later
Kame House
Bulma and Master Roshi held the seven Dragon Balls. "Come forth, Shenlong, and grant my wish!" Master Roshi shouted.
"Speak your wish, and I shall grant it," Shenlong responded, his voice echoing.
"I want you to revive Goku!" Master Roshi declared.
"Your wish has been granted. Farewell," Shenlong intoned, disappearing as the Dragon Balls scattered across the globe.
"I hope Goku is not late for the battle," Bulma expressed, her tone laced with worry.
Meanwhile, in the bustling heart of East City, an unexpected and dramatic event unfolded. The tranquil afternoon was shattered as two ominous space pods tore through the sky, their descent marked by a deafening roar and a streak of fire. The pods slammed into the city streets with colossal force, creating a shockwave that sent nearby cars flipping and windows shattering. Clouds of dust and debris billowed into the air, causing panic as citizens fled in terror.
From the first pod, Nappa emerged, his towering frame casting a shadow over the chaos. He raised his hand, ready to unleash destruction, but was abruptly stopped. Vegeta, exiting the second pod with a swift and commanding presence, struck Nappa with a forceful punch to the stomach, drawing blood. His voice was sharp and authoritative as he admonished, "I already told you! Don't destroy anything! What if you destroyed one of the Dragon Balls! You need to think before you act!"
Nappa, gasping for breath, managed to nod in agreement, his expression a mix of pain and submission. Vegeta's eyes then narrowed as he sensed multiple high energy signatures. His face twisted into a sinister smile, and with a swift motion, he and Nappa took to the skies, racing towards the battlefield with a palpable sense of urgency and anticipation.
"Let's see what these Earth warriors are made of," Vegeta thought, his anticipation growing as they approached their destination.
Twenty minutes later, Vegeta and Nappa surveyed the Earth's warriors assembled before them. "It looks like the Earth's mighty warriors are here," Vegeta observed, a smirk on his face. "I can't wait to kill you all and get my hands on the Dragon Balls," he stated, his tone serious and filled with anticipation.
