Percy Jackson AND Harry Potter crossover book/chapter 2: a fresh start in an unfamiliar world
"Woah!" Percy's first words escaped him as he stepped into the new world with Hecate. He could only stammer in awe, slowly taking in the grandeur of the mansion. The pure white concrete walls were adorned with tapestries, and portraits of the gods, including his father's, lined the walls. In front of him, a majestic marble staircase, carpeted with a red velvet runner, led upward.
"Where are we, Lady Hecate? Everything here is so grand, majestic, beautiful—Woah! Are the portraits moving?" he stammered, unable to believe his eyes. He rushed forward to get a better look at what the portraits were doing. Hecate smiled at his childish wonder as he stood there, mouth agape.
"They're so... life-like! Is this magic?" Percy pondered in awe, turning to face the goddess.
"It is, Percy, but we don't have much time for a tour," Hecate said, her voice warm but firm. "Hogwarts will start in three months, so you need to learn as much as you can before then, so you can uphold the name of the House of Hecate during your quest. Over the summer, you'll return here and continue your magical education with me. Don't worry, the blessing of magic and your magical abilities will remain with you even after you leave."
As she spoke, Hecate ascended the stairs with godly grace, and Percy struggled to keep up, panting slightly as they reached a blue sea-themed door. A sign in Greek read 'Percy's Room.'
"Is this my room?" Percy asked, raising an eyebrow. He hadn't expected Hecate to be this considerate.
"It is," Hecate replied, her voice gentle but firm. "This is where you'll stay. Downstairs, you'll find the dining room and living room. Tomorrow, I'll take you to Diagon Alley to buy your necessities."
She led him to another door, this one near the third corridor on the left. "This is the training room. You'll come here for your combat training, monster fighting, and practical wand work."
Percy nodded, his curiosity piqued, though he was beginning to feel overwhelmed. Hecate led him past several rooms before reaching another one, similar in size to the training room. Percy hesitated for a moment but entered anyway.
Inside, the room was cozy, decorated with a comfortable armchair behind a teacher's desk, with three student tables lined up behind it.
"This is our lecture room," Hecate said. "Your offline education will take place here. If you want, you can invite your friends to study with you, but if they do, make sure to pray to me first so I can disguise myself."
Percy's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "So... this room is the classroom?"
"Yes, Percy," Hecate replied, exhaling a dramatic sigh. "Anyway, let's begin our first lesson here. Oh, and don't worry about your dyslexia. I've already spoken to Headmaster Dumbledore. Your exams will consist of an examiner reading the text out loud to you and marking your paper in Greek, so no need to worry."
"Thanks, Hecate! You really thought of everything!" Percy exclaimed, his tension easing.
"Shall we begin the lesson now?" Hecate asked with a smirk.
"Alright, Hecate," Percy answered with a groan, not particularly fond of hard study.
And so, the room was filled with the sounds of Hecate's voice, rambling on about the wizarding world and everything Percy needed to know.
The next chapter is on dragon alley and how he stumbles into Draco Malfoy in Madam Malkin's robe shop. Also, feel free to tell me ur other ideas on what stories I should make. And try to keep the stories to aha, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and the olympians, Percy Jackson and the heroes of Olympus and trials of Apollo (also part of Percy Jackson series).
Signing out, BlossomAftonJackson…
