Chapter 118 Christmas Joy

Ryo was walking down the streets of New York as it snows around the entire place.
"Well it's nice to know it's Christmas time."
He kept going and saw Maria walking by.
"Hey Maria." He said.
She got surprised and looks at him.
"Surprised to find you here." Ryo Said.
"Well I was doing a few things for Christmas." She said.
"So your all alone?" He asked.
"Nothing much to do, Christmas party we had was done yesterday so i'm alone on this holiday." Maria said.
Ryo frowns. "Say how about we spend the day together?"
"What?" She got surprised.
"Nobody should be alone at this time of the year."
She smiles and holds his arm. "Okay, i'll take up on that offer."
The two walked forward together and Maria was liking it now.
They went to the shopping district and checked many stores in the mall.
"Well they seem to been prepared." Maria said.
"Yeah, which is normal. Do you ever thought of a gift?" He asked.
"Well... Maybe." She saw he had a present. "Oh you have one."
"Yeah it's for Fiona, i'm still picking for the other girls."
They heard screams as a big guy comes out of a store holding gifts. He was dressed as Santa but he was green.
"Groonk take gifts!" He said.
"Groonk?" Ryo said.
"Wait, that's a mutant." Maria heard about him.
He then passes by and takes Ryo's present.
"Hey!" Ryo chases after him while putting on his driver.
RABBIT! TANK! BEST MATCH!
He rotates the lever.
ARE YOU READY?
"Henshin!" He transforms.
HAGANE NO MOONSAULT! RABBITTANK! YEAHHH!
Build jumps at Groonk and clashes with the guy.
"Sorry, your not going anywhere." Build said.
Groonk got mad and punches at him making Build dodge many times and takes his gift back.
"I'll take this back."
Groonk charges but then Maria tazes him from behind as he screams.
He turns to her. "Mean lady!"
She got ready before Build came up from above and kicks him in the head.
Groonk punches forward making Build dodge as the big guy destroys a wall behind him.
Build then uses more bottles.
GORILLA! DIAMOND! BEST MATCH!
He rotates the lever.
ARE YOU READY?
"Build up." He changes.
(Tropical rock music) KAGAYAKI NO DESTROYER! GORILLAMOND! YEAH!
He punches at Groonk making it more even in strenght as the big guy got hit on the face making him stagger.
Build then kicks at him and the green villain picks up a cart and throws it at him.
Build grabs it before Groonk punches the rider through it.
Maria frowns. "What's his deal anyway? Why steal all of the gifts?"
Build then jumps at him and pins him down with a powerful punch damaging the guy.
"Why are you doing this? Why steal the gifts?!" Build said.
Groonk grunted. "Groonk wanted to help children in underground and get gifts for them."
The two got surprised and looked at each other.
"Groonk, you might wanted to help but you've also been hurting other kids. They won't have gifts and many were prepared by families that are struggling that wanted to give something to them to make this season special."
Groonk got surprised to hear that.
"Think about it, would it be right to make other kids sad and just make others better?" Build asked him
Groonk looks down. "No, Groonk sorry."
"If you want I can get you real gifts." Build said.
"Huh?" He looks.
Later
Groonk was smiling holding a big bag of gifts outside with Build and Maria.
"Now that's more like it. These gifts are picked by you and were payed by me. So these are good ones." Build told them.
"Thank you." Groonk said.
He then walks away smiling since he got the presents he needed to bring a smile to others.
"Well that's one problem solved." Maria smiles.
"It's better to make someone happy than just beating up a guy that had good intentions." Build said.
"Well let's keep going on our date." Maria has him change back before they went away.
After they hanged out she takes him to her appartment and they sat together at the fire place.
"Now this is cozy." She holds a mug with a drink.
"Yeah and it's better to enjoy time together." Ryo said.
She sits closer to him and puts her head against his shoulder surprising him.
He smiles and they got close to each other.
"So did you find out what to give to the other girls?" She asked.
"Yeah, while we helped Groonk." He said.
"Then I might be getting some gifts for them too." She said.
"You don't have to do that." He said.
"Nonsense. I want to." She waves it off. "Afterall it's the season to give and share."
He chuckles and nodded at her.
A familiar sleigh passes by and a jolly man laughs. "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!"
Deadpool hangs off from the back of it. "Give me my gifts too!"
He chased after Santa and he's not going to give up.
Everybody else enjoyed a nice day with they're loved ones with Groonk being happy to have helped children.
Note: The Build Christmas chapter is about Groonk the villain from Marvel comics and he's basically a parody of the Grinch.
