Chapter 122 Darkhold

I don't own Kamen Rider Build or Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

In the afternoon Build was seen walking down the road since he had to do a mission and just came back.

"Well that is over for now. I better get back home."

He then saw something coming towards him, and it was a blast making him dodge.

"What?"

A new rider came down and it's a red and black version of himself with the visor being more spikes, and the shoulder pads had spikes too. The shape of the form resembles hazard form with the trigger being there but it's different in the colors.

"Who are you?" Build questions.

The copy grunted. "I am Darkhold Build."

"Dark what?" Build said.

The Darkhold counterpart charges at him and he dodges a grab before kicking him away.

The copy then recovers and charges again with his fists glowing, he punches at Build many times. He grunted before he jumps back.

"I have to change." He takes out the fullfull bottle and trigger.

MAX HAZARD ON!

He then inserts it and the bottle.

RABBIT AND RABBIT! BUILD UP! ARE YOU READY?

He rotates it. "Build up."

OVER FLOW! KURENAI NO SPEEDY JUMPER! RABBITRABBIT! YABEI! HAEI!

He changes and gets ready, he charges at the copy trading blows with him as they went around.

Darkhold grabs the original and tackles him through many buildings scaring people and they went to the other side.

Build then felt a link and he saw the memories of this one. He saw his counterpart inside of a lab where he didn't get the star brand that day.

Instead he found a energy called the Darkhold and experimented on it.

"What can it do?" Alternate Ryo said.

He tested it but then the more he does to understand it, the more he does more he loses his sanity.

He then breaks and uses it on himself causing his body to break and crack as he mutated. He had to change into Build to save himself and goes into hazard form becoming the mutated rider form.

Wasp came inside. "Ryo?"

Darkhold Build goes behind her and she turns around screaming before he grabs her and subjected everyone into his experiments.

Build got shocked and he punches the copy back.

"You... You monster!" He yelled.

The star brand appeared on Build showing the new power as he glows with the new power.

Darkhold got ready and attacks but Build grabs his arm and slaps him to the side, then roundhouse kicks the evil copy back.

Darkhold Build rolls on the ground and got up slowly as he shoots a red blast making Build block with a energy shield.

He then charges at Darkhold punching him many times without stop with amazing speeds.

Then he uppercuts the copy up making him grunt before Build charges up his fist and punched him through a wall as he crashed into the streets.

Darkhold got up before a blast hits the rider as he screams.

Build looks up and sees Scarlet Witch as she flies down.

"So that's where the power was coming." She stares at the dark rider.

He got up and runs before a portal opened taking him away.

"Why are you here?" Build goes back to base.

"I've been sensing a familiar power. Darkhold is a energy I can tamper without much dangers. As I didn't have much use for it but the fact that copy of yours used it means it couldn't surpress it." She explained it.

"I saw his memories for a moment, he didn't have the star brand." Build said.

"Than that power what might have saved him if he did. But since he didn't he got corrupted."

"Why did you help me? Aren't we supposed to be enemies?" Build said.

"Magneto hates you, but I don't see a reason to fight you when this danger is what is needed to be dealt with." She said.

He understood what she's saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"Okay, what do we need to do now?" He asked.

"Just stay in contact." She gives a special device. "It's with my magic so nobody can trace us. This is just between us."

He nodded at her. "Okay, my lips are sealed."

"I know you have a lot on your plate, but this incident might be connected to one of those problems." She said before leaving.

Build got surprised. "That evil version is connected to one of the events that's happening now?"

He rubs his head since this is something he didn't expect, looks like he has to watch out in case whoever appears from that side.

"Okay, so one of the events that's happening now is connected to that evil version of me. And it has some sort of connection for him to just appear here." Build thinks.

He still can't get that memory out of his mind, if he didn't find the star brand... Would he have turned into like him?

He could never think of harming his friends and family to become that thing.

"I can't think of that, what he did was his own choice. He ruined they're lives... And i'll make sure to Avenge them."

Build walks back home and once he arrived he saw Wasp pass by.

"Oh hey Ryo." She waves with a smile.

He stares at her face and remembers that memory again.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

He then hugs her surprising Wasp, she hugs him back slowly and he didn't want to let her go after what he saw.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I just... Saw something that I didn't want to see." He said.

"Well, it will be fine Ryo." She rubs his head.

He felt at peace being with her since she was one of his loves and he cared about her. He couldn't lose her. He can't deal with a loss ever again.

"Come one, let's get you out of that suit and relax." She takes his hand and takes him to the living room.

They had the entire place since the others left to do other things and she can spend time with Ryo. But knows this was for the best to calm his mind since he got spooked really bad.

She also wonders what did he saw to scared him like this.

Note: A darkhold version of Ryo appeared, being a villain type of Ryo since Marvel does that with it's heroes making villain counterparts like Darkhold.
