(Strongest Metal in Oz)
*January 16th, 1907*
*Winkie Country*
The afternoon sun shines upon the beautiful castle of Tin Woodman as Dorothy slowly rises up from the bed, ready to complete her training.
"How long was I out for? It's practically afternoon." Dorothy spoke softly to herself as she got up from the bed, put on her shoes, and made her way downstairs toward the lavish foyer.
The people in the foyer were Scarecrow and Rose having tea together, talking amongst themselves.
"Hey, guys. I can take it that Keiko, Flynn, and Betsy aren't back yet, right?" Dorothy greeted her friend and teacher with a smile as this caught their attention, making them smile warmly.
"Dorothy! You're awake. That training session took the wind outta you but we're glad you're okay, please join us in tea." Scarecrow greeted his friend in a warm voice while motioning his hand for Dorothy to join.
Following this, Rose nodded in agreement, wanting Dorothy to join as well.
"You deserve the break. Once you've freshened up, we can begin the final phase of your training." Rose chimed into the conversation in a warm voice while Dorothy smiled at them.
Of course, Dorothy made her way toward the table as she sat down next to Scarecrow, gently grabbing the cup of tea.
"Thank you, and I didn't know you could drink or eat, Scarecrow." Dorothy thanked the pair while also wondering how her friend could do such a thing.
Hearing this made Scarecrow chuckle as she quickly provided an answer.
"Oh, I don't usually need to drink or eat since it's not crucial for my survival but it's mostly for the fun of it." Scarecrow responded while Dorothy nodded understandably, sipping her tea while doing so.
"Ooh, I do recall Scarecrow telling me that when I was a kid.." Dorothy thought to herself while continuing to sip on the tea, enjoying its taste.
Once everything was said and done, Rose placed her cup on the table, ready to explain to Dorothy about the final session.
"Your final task is simple yet hard. You'll need to cut an Ozmite in half with the sword I gave you aka your sword!" Rose explained to Dorothy in a serious voice as this surprised both Scarecrow and Dorothy.
This was followed by Scarecrow's expression, which was a surprised one as he stood up.
"O-Ozmite?! That's the strongest metal in the entirety of Oz. Nobody can destroy it!" Scarecrow uttered in shock while on the other hand, Dorothy had a determined look on her face.
"I'll do it. I'll do whatever it takes to master my sword and defeat Zorya." Dorothy responded with fierce determination as she got up from the chair, ready to take on the challenge.
Of course, Scarecrow was surprised that Dorothy agreed to such a challenge.
"That's the spirit; however, you must be alone for this task so I nor your friend won't be able to watch over you, is that okay with you?" Rose responded to Dorothy as she was met with the girl nodding in confirmation.
"I'm okay with that and besides, If I can't pass your training then what good does it make when I face off against Zorya." Dorothy responded to the question while stretching to warm up her body.
Once Dorothy was done speaking, Scarecrow managed to speak up regarding the event.
"G-Good Luck. If anyone could do it then it's you. I also hope you come back with great success." Scarecrow spoke to Dorothy once more, wishing her good luck while Dorothy smiled.
"Thank you." Dorothy thanked her friend as she gave him a thumbs up. Soon after, Rose and Dorothy began to leave the palace.
"Good luck, Dorothy!" Scarecrow spoke to his friend, wishing her good fortune as he saw his friend and Rose exiting the palace doors.
Once Dorothy and Rose were outside, they started to walk across the beautiful yellow grass until coming across the entrance to the forest.
"Alright, I've studied around this area so the Ozmite should be in this forest. Good luck, my student." Rose explained to Dorothy as she was met with her nodding understandably.
"Thank you. I won't fail you nor my loved ones." Dorothy thanked Rose for the final time before finally stepping inside the forest, ready to cut down the Ozmite.
*Winkie Forest*
The forest had a plethora of beautiful trees, plants, and the sounds of critters and insects.
The forest had a beautiful yellow color due to the leaves, giving off an autumn vibe.
"What a beautiful forest.." Dorothy complimented as she continued to walk across the beautiful forest until finally stumbling across the Ozmite, making her smile with joy.
The Ozmite was a huge metal in the shape of a sphere, it had a yellow color to it.
"I've found it!" Dorothy uttered in a joyful voice as she walked closer to the Ozmite, gently feeling the hard cold metal.
"I recall Rose telling me that the Ozmite that Dion used to trap me might have been a fake but still, it's pretty cool that I've managed to break through a fake set to save my friends." Dorothy spoke softly to herself while she took a few steps back as she pulled her sword out.
Soon after, a figure slowly emerged from the forest, it was a young girl around the age of sixteen.
The girl had a strong resemblance to Zorya, sharing the same black hair, beautiful black eyes, and expression; however, the girl's expression was a calm yet elegant one.
The appearance of the girl surprised Dorothy greatly as she began to speak.
"Z-Zorya?!" Dorothy uttered in shock, feeling the urge to attack; however, she had a feeling that this mysterious person wasn't Zorya.
"Good Afternoon, Dorothy Gale. I'm not Zorya, but you can call me Luna." Luna greeted Dorothy with a smile while she observed the Ozmite.
After the greeting, Dorothy was surprised at Luna knowing her name as she began to speak to her.
"H-How do you know my name, Luna?" Dorothy asked the girl politely as this was met with Luna chuckling.
Soon after, Luna walked closer to Dorothy, observing her in great detail.
"I know many things. I also have knowledge that you must cut through this Ozmite, correct? It's also the key to defeating Zorya." Luna responded with a smile while Dorothy nodded, still wondering how she knew of such things.
"Yes. h-how.." Dorothy uttered in confusion while she approached the Ozmite, ready to cut through the large circular metal.
The wind picked up as Dorothy clenched into her sword, ready to strike while Luna watched intently as she waited for Dorothy to make her move.
Once Dorothy was ready, she let out a cry as she swung her sword toward the Ozmite, the blade coming into contact with the metal which generated a loud clash sound.
Of course, the Ozmite remained in place as Dorothy breathed softly.
"Damn it. How in the world am I supposed to cut this thing in half without my sword breaking in half.." Dorothy uttered in annoyance as she stared at the Ozmite while Luna continued to watch.
"If you can't cut through this Ozmite then you'll never defeat Zorya and stop her plans. You'll need to put your power into each strike." Luna advised Dorothy in a serious yet calm voice while Dorothy looked over before nodding.
"Alright! Gaia: Shining Star!" Dorothy responded as she prepared her attack, ready to cut the Ozmite in half.
Right after this, a slew of star-shaped attacks came from the sword as it ran through the Ozmite, generating a loud sound; however, the Ozmite remained in place.
"Keep going. The more power you put into your attack, the better." Luna advised Dorothy while she continued to watch the ongoing training session, hoping that Dorothy would succeed.
Soon after, Dorothy nodded as she continued to swing her sword down toward the Ozmite; however, each attempt met with failure as the Ozmite remained in place.
"Dorothy, you need to learn how to become one with the sword, meaning that you must be chosen by your sword, and it seems your weapon still hasn't deemed you worthy yet.." Luna thought to herself as she greatly observed Dorothy's movements.
This was followed by Luna staring greatly at Dorothy's attempts to slice through the Ozmite, all met with failure.
"Dorothy, the sword is not just looking for someone who can protect their loved ones. It's looking to be used as a strong weapon, a weapon that can be used to protect its owner's loved ones." Luna thought to herself as she continued to watch everything as she remained silent, hoping Dorothy would get the message.
Back at the training field, Dorothy continued to swing at the Ozmite, hoping it would cut in half.
"Alright, time to go super.." Dorothy spoke with a smirk as she prepared to transform into her super form.
Following this, Dorothy smirked as she transformed, her hair color changing into purple as it grew spiky.
"Alright, Let's cut down this Ozmite." Dorothy uttered in motivation as she clenched her sword more tightly, ready to slice through the Ozmite.
Right when Dorothy was going to strike down the Ozmite, she saw her sword glowing a purple glow, capturing her attention.
"W-what is this.." Dorothy uttered in surprise as she looked down with curiosity.
Meanwhile, Luna's expression became pleased as if she knew what was going on.
"The sword is intrigued by your power, perhaps it's the key for you to strike down the Ozmiteā¦this should be interesting." Luna thought to herself as she smirked, ready to watch the next set of events that was going to take place.
With the sword glowing, could this pave the way for Dorothy to finally cut the Ozmite in half?!
