Holly decided to call Barry and see what he remembered about that day. She truly believed he wouldn't have set out to hurt her.
"Holly, are you and your family okay?" Barry asked.
"Our family, Barry. You know very well they are yours too and yes, we are okay." Holly reminded him. "I do need to talk to you, though. What do you remember about our crash?"
Barry was wondering why she was asking. "Just what you heard. Sheep, you were speeding, broken arm for me, coma for you."
"Do you actually remember all that?" Holly asked him.
Barry tried to think back, but honestly, it was a blur. "Honestly, Uncle Clive filled me in."
Holly wasn't surprised at all. Of course, he took a pay day. She loved him very much, and this was the thanks she got. "Barry, I wasn't driving. We were talking about me possibly expecting a baby whist riding."
Barry immediately recalled that conversation, that time, and the crash. He didn't know what to say and honestly blamed himself. "Oh, Holly. I'm so sorry."
Holly wasn't about to let Barry blame himself, as she suspected he had no idea. "Barry, you did nothing. I think the family messed with your mind too. Jayne was worried you were involved and I told her I didn't for a second believe that and I didn't. We love you."
Barry smiled into the phone, Holly and Jayne really did mean the world to him. "Give Jaynie a hug for me. I am glad she is getting to live her life, Alistair really tried to keep her under his thumb."
"Robert and I will never be able to thank you enough for being that person she needed." Holly told him straight from the heart.
"You know I would really like to get to know Ethan more and Robert. If they are important to you and Jayne, they are important to me. I guess I should get to know that chap Jayne is marrying too. What do you know about him?" Barry asked Holly.
"It would be nice if you all got to know each other. JJ? He's great. A fine young man, his dad was a wonderful man too and his grandmother is one of the best. You also need to get to know your great nieces and nephew better." Holly loved the thought of Barry getting to know Robert and their family better.
"I'll plan a trip soon. There's less and less keeping me here as the days go by." Barry admitted to Holly.
"Thank you for never becoming one of them. I love you." Holly told Barry.
"Back at you and I love you too." The two ended the call.
