1/12/2657- Union Purchases Several Prefabricated Defense Stations

"Today, Galactic Defense Solution sold over a dozen of its Mk 15 Starguard Defense Platforms to the Union. The stations, each with combat power rivaling some of the Light Cruisers used by the Union, are to be deployed at several important locations across the Union in order to free up ships for frontline positions. The first station is expected to be in place within two weeks."
