"Endeavor!" Keigo calls out to the flame hero as he's about to land. "What's the deal?"
"We need pairs to go into different areas to-" As Enji explained, Keigo tried to sneak off. But before he could, Enji grabbed him by his tan bomber jacket. "Hey. I have seniority here, Hawks. Listen to me for once in your life."
Keigo rolled his eyes and stood back next to Enji, his shoulders drooping forward as a pout was drawn on his naturally pink lips.
"Whatever you do, do not go in alone,"
"Got it, Endeavor~" Keigo winks before lifting off the ground with his enormous wings.
"Keigo-" Enji starts as he grabs one of Keigo's hands. "I'm serious. Don't go by yourself."
"Okay, I won't," Keigo nods.
As heroes gathered together to form a plan, Mirko stood next to Hawks, who stood just a few feet short of being hip-to-hip with Endeavor.
"All Might isn't here?" Enji asks over the phone. "Well, where is he?" he says, obviously getting angrier. "Musutafu?! That's hours away from Tokyo!"
Enji's flames were growing with each word that was coming through the phone that Keigo suspected would melt or break before long.
"Hey, Enji-" Keigo starts, grabbing Enji's large arm.
"Not now, Keigo," Enji growls, swatting Keigo's hand away.
A scowl formed on Keigo's face which was noticed by his rabbit friend.
"Hey, Keigo, let's go over here," Rumi suggests to Keigo, pulling him over to a spot where they were out of the line of sight of the angered flame hero.
"Kei, he's just stressed, don't take it personally," Rumi sighs.
"Oh, yeah, 'cause when I'm pissed and he tries to comfort me and I push him away, I'm at fault? And when it's the other way around I'm still at fault? Fuck that!" Keigo complains.
"You know Yagi-senpai annoys Todoroki-senpai more than anyone, so you can't take it to heart," Rumi breathes, leaning against a building. "Maybe he just needs space,"
"I know him, Rumi! And the last thing he needs is space!"
"Kei-" Rumi starts before getting over-ruled.
"Keigo?" A voice questions in shock, making Keigo's eyes widen.
"Wha- wh-wha... H-how are you-" Keigo stammers.
"Long time no see, Kiddo~" the hero smirks. "Didn't know you were workin' this case. You work at an agency nearby?"
"We both own agencies," Rumi informs the hero. "Surprised you didn't know,"
"Well, I have been absent from Japan for quite some time," the hero clarifies. "Which is one of the reasons I'm no longer high up in the ranks."
"I see..." Rumi mutters.
"Anyway," the hero smirks. "We must get together sometime, Keigo. For old time's sake,"
As the hero left, Rumi turned to find a teary-eyed Keigo who was barely standing and trembling.
"Keigo?" Rumi gasps. "W-What's wrong?"
"H-Him..." Keigo whimpers. "I-It's h-him..." he sobs.
"Crimson?" Rumi questions. "Who's him? I don't-"
Rumi then understood. 'Him' was the one Enji and Keigo broke up over. 'Him' was who broke her best friend.
"Crimson Riot is the one who hurt you...?"
Keigo nodded slowly as he sobbed, falling into Rumi's arms.
"Hawks!" Enji calls out, feeling horrible about pushing Keigo away earlier. "Hawks, where are you?!"
As Enji turned a corner, he saw Keigo crying and broken in Rumi's arms as she stroked his hair and whispered words of reassurance into his ear.
"Usagiyama? What happened?" Enji asks as he rushes over to her and Keigo's side, desperately wanting to cradle the frail boy in his arms. But he knew he couldn't. Not here.
"I-" Rumi began. "I can't tell you... Keigo has to..."
"Keigo," Enji breathes, running his large thumb over Keigo's cheek to wipe away a falling tear. "Can you tell me what happened?"
"Endeavor!" the voice calls out, which makes Keigo's eyes widen and his breathing quickens, more tears forcing their way out of Keigo's eyes.
"Kei-"
"I've been looking for- oh?" the voice starts before pausing at the sight of the broken Keigo. "What's going on?"
"Why did he-" Enji starts before getting cut off by Rumi.
"Just a panic attack," she nods. "We all get them from time to time."
"I see..." the hero sighs. "Want me to take him to the paramedics?"
"No, I've got him," Rumi scowls. "Thanks, Crimson."
"Oh?" Crimson raises an eyebrow. "Say, how long have you known Keigo?"
"You can call him Hawks." Rumi spat. "And we've been best friends since 1st year at UA."
"I-I see..." Crimson gulps. "Well, see you on the field."
As Crimson leaves, Enji turns to Rumi.
"The fuck was that?" he questions.
"Can I tell him Keigo?" Rumi asks the shaking hero.
"Can you promise t-to stay c-calm?" Keigo whimpers.
"You're fucking scaring me- the fuck is it?!"
"I'll take that as a no..." Keigo breathes.
"Okay, what the fuck?!" Enji yells. "I'm here trying to help you, and you decide not to tell me something, again, 'cause you think... what? I can't handle it?"
"Todoroki-senpai, calm down," Rumi breathes.
"No! Why the fuck won't you tell me?!"
"'Cause you'll do something you'll regret and that will ruin your reputation and it'll be all my fault!" Keigo cries. "I-It'll be all m-my fault..."
Enji then sat back and breathed, giving Keigo a small nod.
"I'll stay calm, Keigo. I promise." Enji breathes.
Keigo then nods to Rumi, giving her the go-ahead for her to tell Enji.
"Crimson Riot is the one who... hurt Keigo back during school..." Rumi admits sadly.
Enji closed his eyes and tried to stay calm as he promised.
Smoke was rising from every part of his body, and Enji was trying so hard to keep his fire under control. So when a tiny flame lights on Enji's face, he feels a hand on his cheek and hears a familiar giggle.
"You got yourself a little mustache, Mr. Flame-y Pants~"
"What have I told you about that fucking name..." Enji growls.
"That it's perfect and you wish you could go back in time to change your hero name to 'Mr. Flame-y Pants'?" Keigo smirks.
"I will hurt you." Enji glares.
"There's my Mr.-"
"DON'T-"
"FLAME-Y PANTS!" Keigo shouts as he tries scrambling to his feet before Enji can grab him.
"KEIGO!" Enji rages, chasing the Keigo around which makes the boy squeal.
Once Enji caught Keigo, he was pinning him face down to the ground and tried to force his name out of Keigo's mouth.
"What's my name?" Enjij growls.
"Mr. Flame-y Pants?" Keigo giggles.
"No," Enji says, pulling one of Keigo's arms behind him.
"Ow! Hey!" Keigo whines.
"What. Is. My. Name?" Enji growls again, only more intense.
"Mr. Flame-y-"
"Keigo!" Enji warns, pulling Keigo's arm harder.
"Owie! Okay, okay! Enji Todoroki-" Keigo whimpers.
"Sorry?" Enji smirks. "I didn't quite hear you,"
"I SAID ENJI TODOROKI!" Keigo yells.
"Good," Enji huffs, letting Keigo's arm drop to his side and getting off of the frail boy.
"You're Todoroki-senpai, I'm guessing?" Crimson scoffs from behind the two heroes.
"Yeah. What of it?" Enji growls.
"Oh~ So you're the one Keigo fell for," Crimson chuckles. "I'm guessing he made up some story about me "torturing him" or something along those lines?"
"I know you did." Enji snarls. "he barely talked for a whole month. And I was the one beside him the entire time. Besides, he didn't tell me it was you til about 10 minutes ago,"
"Oh? So I guess you aren't as close as I thought ~"
"He told me everything except your identity." Enji scoffs. "How does it feel that you had to get your ass saved by a 15-year-old boy?"
"Oh, don't start making empty accusations," Crimson scoffs.
"Endeavor! All Might is here and he's fighting the villain!" one of Enji's sidekicks shouts.
"Yeah, fine! Let him handle it!" Enji yells before snarling, "I'm busy..."
"I hope you realize that everything that happened that day happened because of you," Crimson grins mischievously.
"W-Wait... Crimson-" Keigo stammers.
"Everything happened because you called, telling him you liked him!" Crimson grimaces.
"W-What? How do you even know that?" Enji questions.
"Because before you called, we had sex after I called him. He came running." Crimson growls.
"Ooh~" Rumi butts in. "I hope you realized that your mic has been on this whole time. Especially when you mentioned you had sex with a 15-year-old," she smirks.
"Wha-"
"When you called him, you told him you loved him. I remember him mentioning that~ so he ran to you because you manipulated him,"
"Ah- I.." Crimson stammers as he feels hands restrain him and cuff him.
"Keigo may be an adult now, but he told me you two were on and off ever since he was... what? 12? 13?" Rumi asks. "Your idea, just for reminders,"
